PJO Hogwarts AU! Notes below:

- Kronos is Voldemort. Obviously. He was vanquished by Zeus years ago, but is on the rise and can only be defeated by the “Chosen One” (for neither can live while the other survives yadda yadda)

- The “Chosen One” is one of the Big Three’s children—not even just the first to turn 16, just one of them

- The whole point of the AU is people trying to figure out which one out of Percy, Nico, and Jason is the “Chosen One” while all of them are secretly hoping for it to be one of the others

- Death Eaters tracked down and targeted the kids after hearing the prophecy, resulting in Bianca’s death pre-enrolment to Hogwarts. She fended them off while telling Nico to escape 🥲

- Thus, Nico shows up to Hogwarts already having lost faith in the system and edgy and sad asf. But there’s no real reason to blame Percy so they don’t have that complicating their relationship further

- Thalia turned into the Whomping Willow. No idea how or why. She also turns back at some point. No idea how or why. Drops out of school to become an underage Auror? No idea how or why.

- I fully researched Hogwarts house qualities before sorting them. I was so deep into it. Percy’s loyalty speaks for itself. Jason was difficult but I shoved him into Gryffindor. And a friend suggested Nico be in Gryffindor but just be really disgruntled about it, so that’s where he is. He has to deal with the passionate reckless assholes while in denial about being a passionate reckless asshole. (Also Nico & Jason bonding opportunities :D)

- Due to Slytherin being now inhabited practically solely by Hermes kids (who are not all related in this AU), Slytherin has totally lost its reputation as the “evil” house, and now proudly carries the tag of “Prankster House”. They’re like Fred and George Weasley except the pranking is a house-wide phenomenon

- Jason attended Durmstrang where he was held to insanely high standards as a model student/leader. After the Tri-Wizard tournament he decided to transfer to Hogwarts instead (all the Camp Jupiter kids are at Durmstrang.)

- Jason becomes Quidditch captain. Percy is duelling club captain. Percy is a god awful flier and it’s safer for everyone if he never touched a broom. Both constantly try to recruit Nico into their respective extracurriculars.

Some bonus character houses:

Gryffindor: Nico, Jason, Clarisse, Calypso, Grover, Piper, and “the Stoll brothers are in Gryffindor solely due to their lack of fear for consequences”

Hufflepuff: Percy, Will Solace, Meg

Slytherin: Annabeth (fucking fight me on this I dare you) (I’m joking I’m sensitive and I’ll cry) (but I won’t lose bitch square up), Thalia, Luke, Ethan Nakamura, Drew, the whole of Hermes cabin (minus the Stoll brothers)

Ravenclaw: Leo, the whole of Athena cabin (minus Annabeth), probably most of Hephaestus cabin too, I wish there were more specific characters but I cannot think of any rn tbh

No one alerted Nico of the incident until McGonagall walked into arithmancy looking more tired then usual. "Mr. di Angelo you are required in the hospital wing at once."

Everyone watched him grab his stuff and leave before they started speculating on what was wrong.

Nico listened as McGonagall briefed him on what happened. "This morning while preparing for his first class of the day professor Hagrid found a girl under a heavy tree branch bleeding from the head. When she woke and was told she was here, she asked for you."

"Did she say her name?"

"Thalia Grace. Kindly escort her back to where she came from, before the rest of the student population finds out about this and I get a hundred howlers about the lack of security."

"Sure professor."

Nico stalked into the hospital wing. "Why are you here? How are you here? You're supposed to be in like, Maine or something."

Thalia smiled "nice to see you too. I have a head injury you know, you could be nice to me."

"You could be in Maine like you're supposed to be."

"I am supposed to be here! The centaurs asked us for help with the overabundance of monster. And seeing you're here, I see why they asked."

Nico considered hexing Thalia, Madame Pomfrey was right there. "Come on, I"ll walk you down to the edge of the forest and you can go back to your cult."

Thalia jumped out of bed, grabbing her bow and quiver from where they'd been set against the wall. "Not a cult."

"It literally is. How'd you get hurt?"

Thalia fell into step besides Nico. "I called stepmother dearest a bitch because I tripped on a root. She did not appreciate it."

"Why would you do that."

Thalia waved off Nico's concern. "I didn't break anything this time. Besides, pretty soon there'll be a few dozen babies she can take her anger out on, I'll be old news."

"I pity your siblings."

"So do-" Thalia paused at the staircases. "Why are the fucking stairs moving di Angelo?"

"Oh, yeah, they do that. Come on, it's not dangerous, just looks dangerous." Nico said, grabbing Thalia's arm to drag her down the steps as she grew impossibly pale.

Everything was alright, slowly but surely they made their way down the steps. Until Thalia stepped on a fake step and fell with a scream, taking Nico down with her.

"What the fuck was that?!" Thalia asked when they were both safe on the real steps.

"False steps. Now come on, McGonagall wanted me to get out of here quietly. So let's go, we can take the stairs, I can levitate you down or we can take the short cut."

Thalia laughed, on the edge of hysteria "am I blonde? Do I have a scar from trying to eat a stapler? No? Then don't you dare think about floating me down. No shadow travel. Just tell me where the fake steps are and if I survive, I won't punch you in the face."

"Deal."

They managed to get down the staircase eventually and Nico lead Thalia to the edge of the forest. "Now fuck off and don't come back, you'll ruin my cover. If you haven't already."

She smiled and pulled him into a tight hug. "Don't die."

"You're the one hunting monsters every day. I hang around mortals all day. I'm more a danger to them then they are to me, magic or not. Now get out of here before someone sees you." He pushed her towards the forest.

Ok I saw some fanarts of Percy Jackson in Hogwarts crossovers, and Annabeth is always with a Ravenclaw scarff. Im unoccupied, so here it is:

REASONS WHY ANNABETH IS A SLYTHERIN AND NOT A RAVENCLAW

- First of all, people always resume Ravenclaw as being "the house of the smart people", so people think everyone who likes to study in general are Ravenclaws, but not exactly. If I would resume the house in a sentence like this I would call it "the house of creative people" because that suits better. In one of the books Harry follows Luna until her common room, and the eagle asks her "what came first, the phoenix or the flame?", and what she does isn't think about the most logical answer, no, she says "a circle doesn't have a beggining", because that's what ravenclaws do, their brain is programmed to always be the most creative as possible

- Ok, that clarified, Annabeth does NOT think like that. When a problem appears she always focus on her main objective, and she does EVERYTHING to acchieve it, for gods sake, she had a fucking talk with a giant spider because that was the only strategy she had. She always focus on her main goal, wich is one of the most important qualities of slytherins, while ravenclaws are always thinking about different perspectives and possible endings. Her inteligence is so slytherin, she is always working hard to purchase even more knowledge (what is really beautiful of her by the way)

- And of course, I think she has a natural leadership spirit, The Seven did not elected her as their boss for nothing. I think she is the kind of leader who thinks A LOT before separating an especific function to each one of the crew, so the productivity is the best as it can be, so them all achieve their goal faster and easier

In general she is more "I have dreams and I will work hard to make them reality" (a slytherin thought) than "If I don't achieve my dreams that's okay, I will find another ones"

Guys I really want to write hp and pjo/hoo fanfics but I always abandon them after chapter 4 😭 the best I've gone is chapter 8 which was on Wattpad. Another reason I find it hard to write fanfics is cuz I spend a lot of time procrastinating so while I'm procrastinating the past half of my chapter Ao3 is counting down to deleting the draft 😭

I wanna become an active fanfic writer tho so if anyone's got fanfic ideas I'm all ears, or all eyes considering it's over the device..
