i just had an incredibly cursed train of thought

so, one of my funnier headcanons is that big grounders like optimus honk whenever they're turned on, and they sometimes lay on the horn if the overload's really strong.

this had me thinking... what if you could turn optimus on by playing with his steering wheel?

gotta be careful whenever he's driving you anywhere and you're sitting in the passenger seat. if you grip onto his steering wheel too hard, you might make his engine sputter. you've gotta have a gentle hold, treat him nicely, and you'll have his engine purring in a heartbeat. (just don't honk his horn unless you wanna risk getting shocked when he overloads.)

I like it when artists have Optimus, when flustered, has smoke coming from his smokestacks (I butchered that sentence but you get what I’m saying)

I need something similar for other characters, most importantly Megatron since he’s usually the one I see causing Optimus to let out smoke

Best I can suggest right now is steam coming from his cannon being “overheated”, but it might just look like he’s ready to fire instead. Hmm

Even though I thought I would hate this one because of all of the effects, I actually loved it. This entire thing was kinda like “do it your way” because I 1. Had to ofc just redraw the effects on top of them after (Much more enjoyable than I thought) and 2. They only have like ONE existing panel that I had to go from?? I found it really fun and refused to look at any other fanart so I could just be free and have fun. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks anon :).
