I see it as memory. A moment brought up between her and Clarke when they're in bed. Naked and laughing and all bubbly smiles from a night of room service and mind blowing sex. She'd said how badly she'd just wanted to touch it, run her fingers through it and tug. To hear Lexa moan as she sifted through the riot of chesnut and gold.

The moment had just been so real and so thoughtless and so unplanned in how relaxed she was that before Lexa knew it, she was mentioning those few months she'd been blonde... at the request of a client. She traced her fingertips over the thigh thrown carelessly over her hip and hummed at the feel of Clarke's foot smoothing along the length of her calf. She felt settled in the warmth of Clarke's breasts pressing securely against her side, not even feeling the hiccup and pause of the woman's breathing. She was so cozy in the afterglow of insanely good sex and the comfort of being in Clarke's space, that she certainly didn't notice when fingers stopped twisting and curling the tips of her hair.

Instead she just kept talking. About anything that came to the sated and soggy fore front of her post-orgasm brain. She doesn't expect for Clarke ask more questions, about her life and her clients, tho those are done rather vaguely. She doesn't expect Clarke to tease her with a sweet silly joke here and there. Doesn't expect Clarke to ask if she happens to have any pictures of the phantom blonde or these wigs. Or to tell her to get her pretty ass up and get her phone because, quote, "Lexa? Your hair is ungodly perfection. I— Now I have to see this sacrilege."

Kael'thas for the ask meme thingy please i need

favorite thing about them Okay I'll try not to write a novel here but there's so little I don't adore about Kael'thas & it's hard to choose just one thing for this lmao. Like you can tell he cared/cares about his people a LOT, he just made some very poor decisions. I love that despite everything he tries to put the blood elves first, he definitely shouldered way more responsibility than he really needed to even for their leader imo, he had other people he could have relied on to share that burden! but he didnt!

Even before the scourge or the outlands, kael had SUCH an interesting personality? Like hes sometimes this bratty childish prince that can be stubborn as hell if he doesnt get his way but he's also easily one of the most powerful mages at the time, even getting on the council of six seemingly relatively easily because of it. So he may be a bit spoiled but he definitely clearly knows how to reign himself in & be serious when he needs to be & that makes him such a fun character with depth beyond just leaning into one trait or another.

Blizzard really shafted themselves when they tossed him away, I would have LOVED to see him progress through the expansions beyond being forgotten about until Shadowlands. least favorite thing about them how blizz threw him away :) I will never recover from the knowledge that they used him PURELY to fill a raid boss slot. He had SO MUCH POTENTIAL. I guess on the other hand we probably wouldn't have nearly as much content with the triumvirate as we do but I'm still not happy about nerfing Kael like that. favorite line "This is your brain, say hello brain. If you want like a legit headcanon tho I definitely think Rommath got his humor and love of puns from Kael back from when they were younger. Kael said one (1) pun once, Rom laughed his ass off (& still refuses to admit it), & has come to appreciate the crafty wordplay of puns ever since.

i have a history of shipping rarepairs (an honest to god track record extending across multiple fandoms, it's a problem fr) and idk apparently i like making things difficult for myself bc i immediately saw why fans might ship lucemond and my brain said "no, not that one, that one's for other people but THIS ONE this one's yours" and then honestly the more i really looked at them and thought abt their different positions in life, the roles they have within their family and larger realm, as well as their own ambitions and desires and overall personalities the more i was like "this is actually gold, this is a goldmine" so i busted out my pickaxe and started digging😭😭 (that being said they do also have fantastic fight chemistry fjsks)

we were so thoroughly robbed of rhaewin content in the show (emma and ryan did amazing with what they had but still, we and they deserved more) and even tho FMF/CTF take place after harwin's death, their relationship is never really absent from the larger narrative just bc of how much it influenced and continues to influence jace

This is just my theory but the way I see it miquella charms mogh to gain a powerful follower. He might even serve as a symbol for other omens to rally. I don't think the kidnapping and the blood cult was the part of the plan at all. Mogh came up with that after coming into contact with the formless mother. To me it seems like the best explanation, no way miquella wanted to be separated from the haligtree the whole point of that was so he could break his curse but during the battle of aeonia while malenia was away mogh under the influence of an outer god takes miquella and ruins his plans. Evrything miquella does is shadow of the erdtree is then a final desperate attempt to succeed and return to haligtree as a god.

I prefer this theory way more that the ones that say Miquella wanted to be kidnapped.

The blood cult is 100% a Mohg thing that Miquella had no hand in, and honestly if we take into consideration the way that Miqs charm works it's plausible to say the version of Mohg that we kill is like one of those dogs that has to be put on sedatives before they go to the vet/groomers. I would argue that Mohg was actually way worse and Miqs charm made him arguably tamer. But I don't think Miq using Mohg to rally the Omens is true because weirdly enough both at the Haligtree and the Mohgwyn Palace there is not a single Omen to be seen anywhere.

But here's the thing with the Kidnapping: The kidnapping was always up to furious debate within the community, and my go-to belief was that Mohg snatched Miquella while Malenia was away during the Shattering; but now with Freyjas account that Miquella actually appeared after the Battle of Aeonia to provide aid, this ROYALLY FUCKS the timeline of the kidnapping.

So then the DLC is trying to convince us that Miquella actually embedded himself into the Haligtree after Malenia peaced out with Scarlet Rot Itis and then was to just immediately be kidnapped by Mohg.... What the fuck is all of this???? LITERALLY WHAT WAS EVEN THE POINT OF EMBEDDING HIMSELF INTO THE HALIGTREE????

And honestly gets worse tho, because hell, with what they're implying apparently Miq went with Malenia to the Battle and returned to the Haligtree with her unconscious ass being carried by Finlay(WHICH MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE)

Huge agree to everything you said here!! The manga is absolutely amazing and the Hoenn arc is probably my favourite for so many reasons including the romance. Honestly the whole of how Ruby and Sapphire's relationship developed in general is great, kudos to the writers, I think it was one of the first romances I actually enjoyed.

Yellow my beloved!! Honestly they were so good in their arc, I adored the team Yellow built. It's not that novel of a concept but seeing their Pokemon that were commonly considered weak being a threat was amazing to me. I love the team building in the manga in general honestly, it always lets Pokemon considered weak just look really great. Delcatty and Mightyena holding their own against Norman's Pokemon? Amazing I love Ruby for it.

I'm sorry if you didn't want replies to the PokeSpe post fhfhk I tend to ramble a lot when people talk about Pokemon. Take care and I hope the booster shot symptoms don't hit you too hard!

U HIT UR KID. THAT IS PHYSICAL ABUSE TO A CHILD." like im glad norman does better later and that they reconcile but also what the fuck

BUT what i wanna talk about most is ruby and sapphire's character. it's frigging incredible to me, the both of them. how one traumatic Incident that happened when they were kids changed the entire course of both their personalities because that event instilled core fears into them.

ruby who was at first into battling but after The Incident saw that battling (that pain) made his best friend look at him with horror in her eyes. sapphire who as at first a meek prim proper girl but after The Incident saw that this made her helpless and powerless to save her best friend who got so frigging hurt. both of them fixating on that. ruby fixating on how pain made him "ugly", sapphire fixating on how meekness made her "powerless"

and thus them going forward in a different trajectory. ruby finding his footing in beauty, aesthetics, and performance, and being a snotty bitch (affectionate) at ppl into battling. sapphire finding her footing in becoming a battle master to hone her strength and also literally grow up in the wilderness, she was the BLUEPRINT for the feral girl archetype but actually done well. they reunite, do not recognize each other, clash so much because the other embodies something they dislike (cuz in the past that something fucked them up so much) and then coming to accept all parts of both each other and themselves

and then they fall in love

but fair warning, beginning of hoenn arc starts and islinked to the ending of johto arc so itll be a BIT CONFUSING FOR THE FIRST 20 PAGES OF VOL15 but it's fine, you can handle it, i believe in u.
