Hazbin Hotel S/I Project 2:

“Adam, The WORST Guardian Angel”

And here it is…yep, this is the new f/o. Why? I dunno…he makes me laugh. But also after hearing others’ thoughts on him I realized there’s a lot of wasted potential. (And it really shouldn’t be a surprise…if you’ve been on this blog long enough you know my f/os have all been the antagonists of their source except for Balam-Sensei (from Welcome to Demon School) and maybe Gaster (from Undertale/Deltarune) I just like the antagonists/villains. 🤷‍♀️)

Sinner!Adam is my favorite fan-made continuation for this guy, of course, because he gets what he has had coming to him for thousands of years probably…and then because he’s in a position and place where he can’t get away with anything and do whatever he wants. He has to either grow up or fall even further. Also face some long-buried but still present inner conflicts related to relationships in his past and not only heal from his own scars but also try to mend broken bonds. At least that’s how I write it.

But this project takes my second favorite concept: The Guardian Angel storyline. I’m not the first to do this, and I know I won’t be the last, but I am setting up a web comic that will also be an ask blog for this project.

The premise is that Adam survives the battle against the Hazbin Hotel (and so does Lute) and thinks it’s a minor setback. They’ll be back once they’ve licked their wounds and restrategized…except Sera has other plans: The Exterminations are put on hold for the time being, putting Adam and the Exorcists out of a job. That wouldn’t be a problem, since in Heaven he barely works anyway, but Sera figures out something different for him and his girls to do:

She puts them in the Guardian Angel program.

It works because it allows them to still protect the world from evil and demons, but they have restrictions now. Adam is, of course, not happy about this. He calls it babysitting duty…the only positive for him is his assigned charge is a chick. She’s average-looking, sure, but it fits in with his ‘traditional views’ as the man (the first man) protecting the weaker woman.

As you can guess, it escalates once they meet and unexpected feelings form over time. But that’s to be seen in the blog comic.
