Saturday, November 23 — The Final Labor: Based on the final task for the labors, write an AU featuring all your characters in a role. Choose an AU, set out a list of goals for yourself based on tropes within that AU (ex. a red shirt has to die if you’re doing Star Trek or someone in the group gets bitten by a zombie and doesn’t tell the rest if you’re doing an apocalypse), then write to your heart’s content! To count, each character must have a role and your tropes must be laid out beforehand.
A Lord Of The Rings AU
Finn - ringbearer, hobbit (repping Frodo) Judy - elf (repping Arwen/Legolas) Mushu - hobbit (repping Merry) Pepper - human (repping Eowyn) Shang - man (repping Aragorn) Tad - hobbit (repping Pippin) Tink - i think it’s better that it’s a surprise. <3
Old Muses that pop up:
Anthony - straight up baddie evil eyeball Arthur - man, nearly killed by his own father (repping Faramir) Roxas - wizard, (repping Gandalf)
Other appearances: Nemo - hobbit (repping Samwise Gamgee)
Tropes: An Unlikely Chosen One the Power of Friendship Back to Back Badasses Royals Who Actually Do Something Battle Couple
TAD:
The battle of Minas Tirith was finally over. Tad had just barely managed to save Arthur, son of the Steward of Gondor, and now that he had, he couldn’t help but hope that the worst of it all was over. Sure, he knew that Finn was still out there somewhere moving closer and closer to Mordor. But Tad sort of figured his part in all of this was over.
After all, what use is a hobbit who’s never really seen much combat in all this. Right? Right. He was sure that he wouldn’t be needed at all.
At least until he was pulled into a meeting that included the beautiful elf Judy, his best buddy Mushu, and Shang who had honestly helped lead the Fellowship as far as it could go. And then of course there was the wizard Roxas, who always took things so seriously. It was because of Roxas that Arthur was still alive. Tad was grateful for that. Even if he didn’t quite want Roxas’ eyes on him at that moment. He sat down next to Mushu, leaning over to ask, “hey, so what-” “Shhh Tad. It’s about to start,” Mushu muttered, nudging him lightly to try to get a little bit of space between them.
“But-”
ROXAS:
“If you would all settle down,” he eyed the two hobbits who always seemed to be somewhat in their own little world. “We need to discuss what our next move should be.” The man started to pace, hands clasped behind his back. “Finn has passed beyond my sight now. The darkness is deepening.”
There was a graveness to his voice, but Roxas could not keep this part light. They all needed to face the unlikeliness of it all. He knew… he had always known that the plan was a bit of a fool’s hope. But it was the best hope that they had been able to muster up.
The enemy would never have suspected them to place such a mighty thing in the hand’s of a hobbit. And now here they were, and Roxas was starting to believe that he had sent the poor hobbit to his doom. If Finn failed in his task… had he already failed?
SHANG:
“If Anthony had the ring, we would know it,” Shang pointed out, stepping forward to try to settle the wizard, if only to stop his pacing which was starting to fray on his own nerves, and no doubt the nerves of the hobbits too, who were watching them all with wide eyes and barely concealed fear. Not that Shang blamed them. They weren’t suited to this place or the times they were in.
Yet their stout hearts had led them to be the vassals of a King of Rohan and a Steward of Gondor.
“If he had it he would not hesitate to cover the whole world in darkness once again. We would all be dead or near it.” It was a fact. He was certain that there could be no doubt about the possession of the ring if it returned to its master.
ROXAS:
“He suffered a defeat, yes. That much is clear.” It was a hard earned victory, with many men of the Rohirrim and of Gondor dead, including the King of Rohan. And then the new King Lucky was distracted, understandably, by his sister’s state in the healing wing after having fought in the battle where she wasn’t supposed to be.
Yet without her, the Witch King would never have been defeated.
They had been victorious…but they had lost many. And yet… “But behind the walls of Mordor our enemy is regrouping.” Mordor could afford to do so. Orcs were easy to continue to create and create like an endless tide of evil. Human, elf, dwarf and hobbit lives were not so simple.
“Let him stay there and rot! Why should we care? That guy may as well rot in his own gross orc filth,” The hobbit Mushu insisted. Roxas barely resisted rolling his eyes. Instead he directed his gaze on the other full force, briefly relishing the way the other’s shoulder shrunk in on themselves. He forced his irritation down.
“Because 10,000 orcs now stand between Finn and Mount Doom.” He paced a step or two and then stopped, the realization of it all hitting him, the weight of what he had done hitting him. “I’ve sent him to his death,” he added, his face almost crumpling to the grief of it before he forced himself to be steady. It was not the time. He could not let it be the time to grieve for the hobbit.
SHANG:
Shang stepped forward and put a hand on the wizard’s shoulder. “No. There’s still time. He needs time and safe passage across the plains. We can give him that,” Shang pointed out, the dawning of an idea starting to take shape in his head. Reckless? Yes. Bold? Beyond that. But would it give Finn a chance to accomplish what he needed to accomplish? He thought that it could.
They might not have the army that would survive another full onslaught. But they had enough of an army that they could keep the enemy distracted just long enough. Just long enough that hopefully Finn would be able to make it to the top of the volcano and throw the ring in.
“Are you crazy? How are you going to do that?” Mushu piped in again. He seemed at least to be trying to follow along. The other hobbit Tad looked like his eyes had sort of glazed over again at the thought of another battle.
“We. Mushu, we will draw out his armies. Make him empty his lands. And then we’ll gather our armies and march on the black gate.”
—
FINN:
Meanwhile, Nemo had just rescued Finn from Cirith Ungol, and the two of them had slowly found their way back down and started down the hill to really get into Mordor. The ring was heavy now, heavier than if Finn were to be clad in two sets of armor at least, and he wished (not for the first time) that this burden hadn’t fallen to him. He was no one extraordinary, but he had made a promise to try and bring the ring to Mordor, and despite everything that had come between him and his goal… he was close.
And Nemo had stayed by his side at his worst moments.
Finn turned to Nemo then, not daring to go further without saying it. Without expressing some of what he was feeling. “I’m so… I’m so-so-so sorry Nemo. I’m so sorry for everything. That I… that I let my-my-myself believe you could ever-” Nemo stepped forward and squeezed his hand, and some of the anxious feeling that had started bubbling up settled back down again. Nemo did always seem to have a way of putting him at ease. Even before they had ever left the Shire.
“Don’t worry about that now Finny,” Nemo replied softly, glancing out in the direction they still needed to go. “For now we probably need to put on some of that ugly orc armor. Disguise ourselves so we can head straight for the mountain. You ready?” Finn wanted to say no. He wanted to sit there and rest and forget about the weight of the ring and their fates and what they had to do. But Nemo looked at him with that warmth, and he smiled, and he knew that even though every fiber of his being was exhausted, he would keep going and keep fighting for his friend.
Finn nodded and got to his feet. Together they stepped forward and took the armor from two dead orcs of Cirith Ungol. Nemo helped Finn when he felt unsteady on his feet just from the effort of it. And then he and Nemo started marching down the hill and onto the plains of Mordor, the stretch of plains leading right for the looming mountain that they had pinned all their fate on. “There are so many orcs that way still…” Finn pointed out nervously, the two of them walking as close together as they could. How would they find a way past all of them?
—
MUSHU:
So now Mushu was riding behind Lady Phoebe (who had barely recovered) and he could glance to his side and see Tad gripping onto Lady Judy as their mounts steadily carried them away from the sturdy walls of Minas Tirith. Mushu glanced back at it, a big towering city that he had barely spent much time in at all. And now his doom would be decided far away from it, far away from the Shire that he had grown up loving.
They were marching to another battle. Only this time it seemed even more hopeless than the last. A part of him wanted to jump off and run himself right back to the Shire. To greener pastures and to a place that seemed untouched by war or darkness. He didn’t care about being noble.
And maybe he would, but Tad was right alongside with him, and Finn was out there somewhere doing what no man or elf or dwarf or wizard had the strength or willpower to do. Mushu shoved down the urge he had as their army came to a stop before the looming black gates. And suddenly, slowly the gates started to open, and Mushu could see a glimpse of the army of orcs that were stomping their way to meet them. It was too late now. He was in for the last great battle of the age.
He hoped he wouldn’t embarrass himself before the end.
PEPPER:
Phoebe guided the horse she shared with Mushu to one side, glancing back to see if her companion was okay. “Courage now Mushu. We’ve already faced the nightmare,” she pointed out, harkening back to their horrible battle with the Witch King. After that…what was the rest but an army of orcs?
Insurmountable odds, but she still felt stronger about it than she had when she had stabbed the Witch King. Despite her body still healing from it, she refused to be left behind when her brother and her people all went to face the final stand. The final moment that would decide the world’s fate.
She sucked in a shaky breath and gripped her reins a little tighter as the black gates continued to open. These ugly orcs were not going to take her down, or her hobbit friend. They had survived the Witch King… they would also survive this battle. She would make sure of it.
SHANG:
Shang nudged his horse forward and then into a canter, riding in front of all the troops to gain their attention and to encourage them for the battle ahead. “Keep steady everyone. Fear no darkness. Find your center and you will win. We will defeat this evil.”
He drew his sword, and many of the soldiers in the army then drew theirs as well. “Today is a day that we fight for friends. We fight for valar. We fight for ourselves and for the hope this will change enough to make a difference. Stand and fight! Fight for everything you hold dear!”
The soldiers came marching forward and Shang had his horse lunge forward at the army, Lady Phoebe and Lady Judy not far behind, Roxas the wizard right alongside him. With them the rest of their army followed straight into the battle…
FINN:
Finn and Nemo had been walking for what felt like hours, days. He found himself slumping to the ground, Nemo dropping down with him quickly and offering him sorely needed water. They didn’t have much of it left, but of course all Nemo could do was share it with him. Finn was so lucky to have him as a friend. He was just lucky to have him in general.
He gulped down the few bits of water, shivering as he tried to guage just how much further they had to go. Would they even be able to with all the orcs?
“Look Finny…the orcs are leaving! Some luck for us finally.” Finn lifted his head and startled. Nemo was right? They were all marching away, clearing out the plains for them to cross and get to the mountain. Maybe there was still hope for them. It encouraged Finn, it finally boosted him enough to get up and start off toward the mountain again, Nemo right along with him.
He kept going until they started to climb up the side of the mountain and his legs finally gave back out on him. And the ring continued to get heavier, now at its worst with their close proximity to the mountain. “Let’s…we-we-we should get rid of the…of the armor now,” he suggested after a few minutes. They didn’t need it for the climb. They didn’t need much of anything else except each other now. He and Nemo quickly tossed their armor and what equipment they didn’t need off the side of the mountain.
“That’s better,” Finn said, though he still felt just as heavy. It still might help give the final push that he needed. That they needed to get to the top of the mountain.
—
JUDY:
The battle had started in earnest, and it became impossible for Judy to spot Shang like she wanted. The elf had her bow and she was firing at orc after orc after orc. Tad was close to her, swinging his little dagger and stabbing those that she didn’t quite get with her bow. There was already a pile of orc corpses and yet still more kept coming.
“Fight with me Tad. Back to back. Let’s make them all regret coming against us today.” Tad guarded her back and she guarded his, and between them they had managed to take down a section of orcs at least, though the flow of them didn’t seem to pause much.
Not until the trolls came in.
Three massive trolls that came in hard swinging. Judy ducked to one side and lost sight of little Tad. But she did spot Shang then, and all thought to make sure Tad was alright was pushed back as she ran to help the man she loved.
“Shang!” She shouted, elbowing past someone else and firing at the troll’s neck. The troll roared and turned its attention toward the one who had caused it pain now: Judy. But that was good. That allowed Shang to get back to his feet and stab at the troll. Judy was able to get another shot in and take the troll down. One troll down. Several to go.

FINN:
Finn, with the help of Nemo, managed to make it up nearly to the top of the mountain. And, as luck would have it there happened to be a doorway that led right into the volcano. After everything they had been through up until that point, Finn was so grateful he blindly stumbled forward. Nothing else mattered now. Nothing but the weight of the ring, and this burden that he was so close to being free of.
Of course in that moment, as he started past a boulder and toward the walkway that led to the large arch, two things happened almost simultaneously. He heard “clever little maggots climbing all the way up here!” and then Gollette tackled him and knocked him to the ground, trying to choke the life out of him.
Finn struggled and tried to fight her off, but he didn’t have anything to really fight her off with, and he wasn’t as strong as he had been when they had first faced Gollette before. And just when he thought he was going to lose again, Nemo came and pushed Gollette off of him. “Run Finny!”
Finn hesitated. He didn’t want to leave Nemo behind. But he also didn’t want to give Gollette the chance to take the ring and ruin everything. He ran through the doorway and into the volcano, making his way toward the edge where he would be able to drop it into the volcano.
TINK/GOLLETTE:
Well these hobbitses couldn’t very well destroy everything precious to her now could they? Tink…or Gollette had spent so much time trying to get rid of these ridiculous hobbitses so that they could finally have their treasure back. Their precious.
Gollette wrestled with that stupid hobbit Nemo and got knocked down a little way on the mountain. Nemo seemed to stop caring about their fight in that moment and ran off to catch up with Finn. Stupid little hobbit. Gollette scurried back up the mountainside.
“Must hurry precious, must hurry and kill them both!” Tink lectured Gollette as they made it back up to where they had been before. “Shut it. We survived because of me. We’ll kill them because of me. You haven’t killed anyone in decades,” Gollette argued back as they scurried up to where the doorway was.
“I can do it precious. I can. Must kill the little hobbit that’s too clever. Let me kill the clever hobbit,” Tink insisted with a hiss before she followed Nemo in through the doorway not long after.
FINN:
Finn stood at the edge, holding the ring over it and feeling the weight of it all, and the ring was shouting out to him. It was as if it was yelling to not do it. To take it away from the edge. To save it from destruction and take it for himself. It whispered. It told Finn of all the ways that it could fix his life. How it could make up for the pain and suffering. Finn shouldn’t toss the ring in. He should keep it.
Finn didn’t want to keep it.
Just as he was about to drop the ring, he felt a weight against him again. Once again Gollette had caught up, having knocked Nemo down to come get Finn. Finn wrestled with Gollette. Suddenly, at the edge of the volcano he found his strength again and he fought back. He couldn’t let Gollette have it. He couldn’t let everything they did be in vain.
Finn fought with Gollette, until they both toppled over the side. Finn let go of the ring then, letting Gollette hold onto it as he scrambled to get a grip of the cliff’s edge. Gollette in the meantime clutched onto the ring, a smile lighting her face even as she tumbled down and down until she and the ring hit the lava at once.
The ring was gone and the weight was gone, and Finn was dangling off the side of a cliff. It would be so easy really. He could let go now too, fall into the lava along with it and be free of all burdens forever.
But then he heard a voice shout out. “Finny!”
He looked up to see Nemo reach out his hand to him. For a moment he hesitated. He thought it might just be better to give in and let Nemo go back and tell everyone what happened. For one moment he thought selfishly. But then Nemo stretched even further, and Finn couldn’t do it to him. He couldn’t let Nemo down like that.
It took a few tries, but finally Finn got a hold of Nemo’s hand and the other pulled him up back over the edge and onto solid ground as the volcano started erupting around them. Finn didn’t even have a minute to thank him. They took off running back out the doorway they had stumbled into.
–
TAD:
The battle was raging, Tad was now fighting side by side with Mushu, the two of them just trying to keep afloat in the mix of all these monsters. And then they both heard it. A loud shriek, and suddenly the orcs seemed confused. They stopped attacking any of them and started running away.
And as Tad turned toward the center of Mordor, he saw something he never thought he’d see. The big tower started to collapse on itself. Then the black gates and everything else that Lord Anthony had created tumbled to pieces bit by bit.
Finn had done it. Finn had destroyed the ring. A smile spread across Tad’s face and he shook Mushu lightly by the shoulder. “Finn did it! He did it!!” Their whole plan had worked! Tad and Mushu cheered and threw their fists in the air even as the volcano erupted and the remnants of Anthony’s army withered.
–
FINN:
Finn and Nemo had just managed to climb onto a larger rock surface that wasn’t covered in lava or the flow wasn’t going toward it. Then Finn collapsed on the rock with his best friend, a relieved smile spreading across his face. He’d done it. They’d done it. The ring was gone. It was over. The long terrible journey was finally over!
Finn hadn’t let himself think about everything he missed from home. Not until now. Not until he knew that their home was saved. The Shire was really saved. He let himself breathe, settling in on the rock there. “You know Nemo, I can finally see the Shire again. The b-b-beautiful river and the trees. The parties we used to go to. Roxas’ fireworks… and… and that time we kissed underneath the party tree.”
He smiled up at Nemo, feeling more like himself in that moment than he had in all the months since his uncle had left him the ring. He could think about all the peaceful and good moments because the shadow was gone. The shadow was gone and Finn was free.
“I thought I lost you Finny. First to the ring and then… then on that cliff…” Nemo started to choke up and Finn forced himself to use what little strength was left in him to sit up again. “I’m here Nemo. I’m here be-be-because of you,” he added, reaching for Nemo’s hand and squeezing it the way Nemo had done for their whole journey. For the whole time that the ring had been a burden to him.
“I can be-be-be me again because of your support,” Finn added, tears flooding his own vision now too. “I’m so grateful to you.” He pressed a tender kiss to Nemo’s forehead, and then he cradled his face in his hands for a moment before he leaned in to press a soft kiss to his lips. Even in all of this, surrounded by lava, Finn had the one person by his side that could keep him going. He could never do enough to make up for all the good that Nemo had done for him.

SHANG:
It all seemed to come together fast. And now, Shang was crowned King of Gondor with the help of the wizard Roxas. The audience clapped and Shang could barely process that this was where they were. That they were truly in the times of peace, and his days from now on would be a much more peaceful time.
He gave a speech to his people, though he hardly remembered it, stepping away to greet some of the people who had come to see him crowned. He smiled and nodded his head to the Lady Phoebe, arm in arm with Lord Arthur, new Steward of Gondor. They curtsied and bowed and he continued forward until a part of elves came to greet him.
Shang could only look at one particular elf though: Judy, no longer dressed in battle armor, but a beautiful flowing pink dress. The two stared at each other for a long minute. Judy reached up to cradle his face in her hands. Shang traced over the wound she seemed to have gotten on her cheek during the final battle with his hand. And then Shang and Judy leaned into each other, melting into a passionate kiss, arms wrapping around each other.
Once the two of them could grasp the relief they had at seeing each other again, they were able to pull back, Judy taking his arm and squeezing it before they both continued further down to find themselves face to face with four hobbits: Mushu, Nemo, Finn, and Tad. All four started to bow, but Shang quickly stepped forward.
“My friends… you bow to no one.”
The four hobbits straightened up again as the whole city knelt to pay their respects to the four hobbits who had helped bring about this good change in Middle Earth. From there, Shang made arrangements to give them all the best supplies in the city to aid them on their way back home.
From then on, Shang and Judy were able to live peaceful days rebuilding the kingdom and ensuring a good future for Gondor for many years to come.
—
FINN:
A whole year after they had all set out on their journeys Tad, Mushu, Nemo, and Finn found their way back to the Shire. Mushu split off first, heading off to find his brother and his family and tell them all about the craziness of the adventure, and likely telling them about how big Mushu’s role was in all of it.
Finn, Nemo, and Tad waved him off as they rode their ponies further into the Shire. Then came the final split where Finn and Nemo embraced Tad before he returned home to where his own sister would be waiting.
And from there it was just the two of them again. Just Finn and Nemo finding their way back to a familiar house. It was hard for Finn to believe, even after all of it that they would find their way here. But as he stepped back through the doors of Bag End, a wave of relief hit him in a way he never expected.
This was it. He was finally home. And here Finn would remain, with Nemo at his side, to the end of his days.

●● is that MAXENCE DANET-FAUVEL? no, that’s just FINNLEY “FINN” CLARKE, the 21 year old CIS MALE who is a MUSIC STORE CLERK. some say they’re PASSIVE and INDECISIVE, but their family and friends will swear they’re OBSERVANT and PLAYFUL. when i think of them, i think of hoodies under jean jackets, steaming black coffee, and forest trails. i wonder if HIS neighbors know that HE SUFFERS FROM A PARASOMNIA DISORDER. ●●
name: finnley clarke (yes with two n’s, don’t point it out to him or he gets a bit annoyed) nicknames: finn age: 21 birthday: december 26th profession: music store clerk
Melissa and Jackson Clarke didn’t plan on having a child until much later in their lives, but nothing goes as planned. They did their best when it came to their son, but it was very clear from an early age to Finn that his parents didn’t have it easy. His mother a server at Maystone and his father a gas station clerk, they did their best when it came to providing for their son. Finn grew up without expecting much and ignoring what others had around him that he did not.
He also quickly learned how to be independent. There were many days Finn would walk home alone and come home to the lights off and his parents gone. Fending for himself just became part of his every day life. When he became older, instead of going straight home he would hang out around ashcroft park with friends or skateboard through downtown. Late night parties or sleepovers at friends’ houses. Finn was always more comfortable anywhere but in the quietness of his parents’ house.
When Finn turned fourteen, fresh in high school, his troubles with sleeping began again. Much younger, he’d had night terrors for a string of time but those passed and he returned back to normal without any issues. But after repeated nights of what they thought were night terrors but worse, Finn’s parents took him to the doctor. Another another doctor. And a third doctor before they talked big words to explain that his brain was over-reacting too much while he was dreaming and his body was reacting to it.
Things in the Clarke household only became more stressed--mostly due to the lack of sleep from everyone in the house as they tried different methods and medications for Finn. Eventually they found one that helped the best, but it still wasn’t perfect. That’s when Finn found his interest in music. If his free time wasn’t spent outside by the water or going on adventures out into trails, he was listening to music and playing music. Broke into the high school band room to play on the drum set whenever he could. Begged his parents for money to buy his own instruments only to be told time and time again they couldn’t afford it. Music gave Finn solace--transported him into a world where nothing could touch him. His nightmares couldn’t touch him.
The last year of high school for Finn was mostly just skating by to the best of his ability. He wanted to go to college, to study music and work specifically in music therapy, but his parents couldn’t afford it and Finn didn’t manage to snag any scholarships. He gave up his dreams of music therapy and settled for staying in ashcroft. Eventually he got a job at the music store and soon enough moved into an apartment above the store on the main street.
Finn’s been living in his own place since then, with his two cats Lennon and Stevie Nicks. He’s still working at the music store, but he loves his job and started up teaching music lessons to kids by posting up flyers in the store and outside the store. On his off days, he’s either with his friends or he’s off finding hiking trails outside of town. Finn loves nature, his apartment filled with photographs he’s taken on his hikes from top to bottom. And as much as he loves to just lay in bed with his cats, he always feels more comfortable outside in the open, surrounded by trees.
aesthetic:
worn record sleeves. steaming black coffee. leather bag. messy bed sheets. lavender scent. knitted sweaters. hoodies under jean jacket. headphones drowning out the world. ripped jeans. soft whispers. forest trails. pine wood. moonlight walks. confident smirks. piles of books fallen over. old notebooks scattered around. a desk covered in sketches. succulents.

This is my first time writing and i'm definitely no writer. English isn't even my first language. It is kinda long but I swear it's going somewhere. I just really love them and this will only work untill we get a new kieutou clip so whatever. Hope you enjoy. And I'm sorry if it sucks. constructive criticism is always okay but I will probably not take it into account because I am already depressed. Enjoy!!
Basically what I wish happened today for kieu my.
'but we'll definitely see each other when you come back?' 14:31
Kieu my stared at fatou's text notification on her phone, not knowing what to answer.
She still didn't know how to feel about their interaction on Tuesday, it all happened so fast and the last thing she wanted was to fight with her girlfriend.
At the time, leaving seemed like the best solution and Kieu my had every right to feel conflicted about what fatou said.
"you're the only thing distracting me from everything else at the moment"
The words resonate in her head. It hurt. Kieu my couldn't hide that those words are the ones that kept her up that night. And obviously, also the crazy situation they were in right now.
"Kieu my?" The words broke her out of her trance and she looked up from her phone to see Zoe looking at her with a worried look on her face.
"Are you okay? You've been checking your phone every five minutes since we got here" Zoe added getting closer to her
"yeah, I'm fine. I'm just... Forget it." She answered her best friend. "We're gonna lose the guys if we don't keep up" she said looking straight ahead.
Zoe didn't push her and just agreed. Kieu my put her phone back in her pocket. They jogged a little to catch up with their friends and they just kept walking.
She looked at the small group and laughed dryly to herself, which earned her a weird look from Constantin. Somehow her tall dumb friend got himself all the way to fricking Brandenburg and couldn't remember how. When Ismail told her about a 'Consti-emergency' she figured they would have to go get him from a ditch somewhere, she just would have never guessed it was from the countryside, one (1) and a half hour away from Berlin.
On the way there Ismail had told them that Constantin had called them completely trashed asking for help.
Kieu my really hasn't been keeping up with what's been happening in her friends lives. She felt bad. But at the same time, how could she? She's had so much to deal with between her parents and the shop and school and... Fatou. There she goes again. Even when she tries to be mad at her she just can't keep the skater out of her head. She reaches for her phone in her pocket when she hears a commotion ahead.
When she looks up she sees Contantin throwing up in a bush. She looks away not wanting to throw up herself.
"You guys go and head back i'll take care of... This" she hears Ismail say and when she turns back around she sees them patting the blonde's back
"are you sure?" Finn asks them and when they only nod their head 'yes' he looks at Zoe.
"yeah... okay let's go then" Zoe finally says after a minute of staring at the ground. "Text us if you need anything and when he... Calms down." She adds with a tight lipped smile. Zoe grabs her boyfriend's hand and her Best friend's arm and they start walking away.
"well that was... Unexpected?" Kieu my says after a few minutes of silence.
"yeah/yeah" both Finn and Zoe answer at the same time. "I'll text my brother and tell him we're coming back" Finn adds.
They got lucky this time around. Last time, they had to drive an hour to go get Constantin and drive back to Berlin in the middle of the night. But luckily Finn's brother somehow lived in Brandenburg so they didn't have to drive all the way back. When they got there and found the passed out boy they decided they all needed a break.
After about a twenty (20) minute walk and a small bus ride they finally got to the small house. It was cozy. Kieu my really couldn't complain. She got to share a room with her best friend while the boys would have to try and fit on the couch in the living room. Although she's pretty sure she's gonna sleep alone because Finn somehow managed to find another bed in what seemed to be the attic and with some good arguments managed to convince Zoe to sleep with him in there. But she's also pretty sure she won't be able to sleep anyway.
Like every winter day, night falls pretty fast. It's past 8 p.m and they already ate. Constantin is passed out on the couch and the others are talking about all sorts of things in the kitchen. Kieu my takes it as her queue to go to her room.
"I'm gonna get some rest. I need my beauty sleep" she tells them. They all say goodnight and she's left walking to her room alone.
It's only ten (10) minutes later when someone knocks at her door. "Can I come in kieu?" It's Zoe.
"yes, please"
"so are you ready to tell me what happened with Fatou or not?" Zoe asks nonchalantly.
"how did you even-" she gets cut off
"Come on Kieu, you're my best friend... and I saw the dozen texts she left on your phone" Zoe drags out
Kieu my falls on her bed and zoe sits next to her playing with her best friend's hair.
"I feel like I messed up... Like somehow I did something wrong and now she's pulling away from me" she starts and even before Zoe can say anything she continues. "But I just wanted to help her and she..."
"she what?"
"she said I was a distraction. And that I should leave her alone and she just got angry at me and I didn't want to fight with her so I... Left. Oh my god, I shouldn't have left right? Now she's gonna think I was there only for school stuff. She probably needed me and I left... Am I a terrible person Zoe?" She let out in barely one breath.
"See now you're spiraling. Take a breath, okay? No you are not a bad person. You were just upset and Fatou probably was too but those kinda things happen in a relationship. Me and Finn argue all the time and most of the time it's because one of us misunderstood something the other did or said" Zoe reassured her
Kieu my took a few deep breaths and sat up in the bed. She started playing With her fingers like she always does when she's feeling things.
"I guess I'm just scared that right now she's into me because I'm a good enough distraction but the moment she doesn't need me anymore... She'll just move on to someone more experienced or more interesting." The words leave her mouth with shaky breaths. Kieu my's eyes start shining but she blinks a couple time to keep the tears away.
"oh Kieu, you are such an idiot sometimes" the blonde laughs while kieu my looks at her dumbfounded. "Fatou is not like that. Nora once told me that one time, when the girls had a sleepover Fatou couldn't stop talking about you for the entire afternoon, so much so that when she fell asleep she was still saying your name" she continues. Kieu my blushes at the statement, thankful that the light is dim enough for her friend not to notice. Before Kieu my can say anything her very talkative friend continues. "She's smitten, Kieu. Maybe she just as some stuff going on. I mean don't we all" she adds wich earns a small laugh from her friend
Before they can continue their conversation someone knocks at the door and comes in without waiting for an answer. It's Finn, with a big smile on his face.
"hey girls!" He says way too excitedly. "I was wondering if Zoe.." he says looking at his girlfriend. "..Would like to come join me in our fine chambers?"
Zoe looks at her friend who is smiling at her. "Duty calls. Sorry. But if you wanna keep talking-" Kieu my cuts her off.
"Go, don't worry I'm fine. Thanks for the talk"
Zoe smiles one last time before running out of the room hand in hand with Finn.
Kieu my lays back down and closes her eyes. She can't help but think about Fatou. How does she manage to always be on her mind, it's unrealistic. She thinks about their date at the museum. Their date. She smiles to herself and covers her face with her arm to hide it. She thinks about how she nerded out to her and she just answered with something as nerdy. About how at that moment she kissed. About how well their lips fit together. About how happy she was that day. Maybe Zoe was right maybe she was spiraling.
Her phone rang and snapped her out of her thoughts. She looked at it for the first time since they got back. She gasps
It's Fatou. Of course it's Fatou, she probably thinks she ghosted her again. The moment she picks it up it stops ringing. Kieu my hesitates but puts it back down. She gets a text and as fast as she put it down she picks it back up. It's a text from Fatou. She also notices she's got some texts from her mom and a missed call from Ismail.
'hey, I just saw on your Insta you're doing a 'social media cleanse', sorry for calling you it's probably against that whole thing' -21:37
Right, Kieu my thinks, the social media cleanse.. that was Zoe's idea honestly. Another text.
'you looked really good in those pictures tho, real 'twilight' vibes🧛 -21:38
Kieu my smiles at her phone and starts to write an answer when she remembers that they haven't actually resolved their issue. And yes Fatou apologized but Kieu my expects something better than a text. On another hand she did tell her girlfriend to call her when she calmed down.
'can I call you again' -21:40 'please?' -21:40
Her phone rang again but this time she picked it up and answered. She waits a few seconds.
"hey.." she hears her girlfriend's tired voice from the other end
"hi." She says back, trying to keep her composure even behind the phone.
"how are you? I saw your posts and got worried"
"I'm.. fine, it was all pretty last minute" she answers
"Oh okay, It's good to hear your voice"
There's a silence, it's not awkward, somehow it's sad.
"Fatou?"
"yes"
"are you..." She begins but can't find the strength to finish.
"i'm not" she hears more than sees the sad smile. "I got fired"
"what- Why? When?" Kieu my asks
"Saturday. I messed up a bunch of times. Was late even. I don't know..." Fatou sounds so defeated
"I'm sorry. Why didn't you tell me?"
"I don't know.. it's not your fault"
"Fatou. I just want you to know that I didn't come to your place just for school stuff. I wanted- I want to help you and I just feel so helpless because you can see right through me and I can't seem to understand any of your problems. I'm sorry." Kieu my starts rambling but gets cut off by Fatou laughing dryly.
"Are you serious? I was the asshole and you feel bad. I'm the one that should be sorry and I am. I am sorry. I don't have an excuse I shouldn't have snapped at you like that" Fatou says and Kieu my thinks that they don't have the same definition of snapped.
"Look, I don't like this, you being mad at me and us not talking so if you just give me a chance to really explain myself I would really like it if you would come and meet me when you get back" the skater girl continues
"yeah, I would also like that" she says with a small smile
"oh okay.. great.. well would you be up for a date at a ping-pong table bar then?"
"definitely"
"great, okay then I guess I'll just leave you to your cleansing"
Kieu my laughs
"goodnight Kieu my"
A pause
"goodnight Fatou"
She hangs up.
Kieu my knows that their conversation isn't over but for now she'll take it. For now it's good.
"was that Fatou?" A voice startles her from the doorway. It's Ismail.
"Shit- you scared me." She paused "Yes it was Fatou"
"Great cause I couldn't handle your sad moping face anymore. What'd you guys talk about?" They ask
She ignores his question. "I do not have a moping face." She says with a hurt look across her face. They look at her.
"Was it that obvious?" She asks with a frown
"Yes! Babe come on even Consti could have noticed if he wasn't puking his soul in the bushes" Ismail says dramatically. "Now come on give me the details. I need to know everything that is happening between my bestie and the mother of my tortoise" they sit next to Kieu my.
"you're so dramatic" she laughs. "Relax, we had a... Quarrel on Tuesday and she apologized and asked if we could meet up to talk about it" she tell them
"a quarrel? Okay m'lady... About?"
"some stupid school stuff" she lied.
"well you're a terrible liar because I overheard that entire phone call so what's up inside that little head of yours"
"Ismail, boundaries, please"
"oh please I've seen you at your lowest miss vu. There's literally nothing you can hide from me now."
She hesitates but starts talking anyway. "You know how I told you about me officially 'meeting' her friends last week" they nodded. "Well when she got there she was visibly upset and I didn't know why and then she got a text and got even more upset and now she just told me she got fired." She takes a breath. "And I just feel bad because those are all things I'm supposed to know about my girlfriend you know? Except she doesn't talk to me about that stuff and I don't know how to get her to open up.." she finishes breathless.
"you poor disaster" Ismail smiles and shakes their head. "You ask her" she's about to cut him off but they put their finger in front of her. "You find the right way to ask her. Love language Kieu my... Love language." They stand up and put their hand up like a shakespearean poet and goes on. "Give her time to open up, this is Fatou Jallow we're talking about. And remember communication is key." They finish, winking and walking backwards to the door and closing it behind them.
Kieu my was about to laugh at her friend's theatrics when the door opens up again and Ismail walks back in.
"no, but I just wanted to ask if I could sleep here cause Constantin has taken the whole couch and he smells like a dead body so...?"
The both of them laugh and Ismail slides next to Kieu my in the bed. "I'm gonna take that as a yes" they say.
"sleep well, ice queen" they mumble already falling asleep
"shut up" she smiles.
That night she dreamt about her girlfriend. She remembers all those weeks ago when her friend sleeping next to her asked her how the dreamy skater girl made her feel. At the time she hadn't known how to put her feelings into words. At that time her girlfriend was just a silly crush. Except Kieu my vu never got silly crushes. But she had instantly known Fatou was different. She was different then and she's different now. And with that thought she drifted into a peaceful sleep. Her insecurities forgotten for the night. She should have never worried about any of this in the first place. Soon she's gonna see the girl she loves again and everything will be alr-
*record scratch*
She woke up with a gasp.
"I love her"
She panted
"congrats, you're the last one to know" she heard Ismail mumble in their pillow.
She smiled to herself, feeling dumb for realising this just now. Looking at her phone she saw 5 a.m. deciding she deserved a little bit more sleep she closed her eyes and with a content sigh drifted back to sleep.
"when I get back we'll definitely see each other" she thought
Okay so I'm too lazy to read this and check for any mistakes so if there are any point them out and i'll fix it. Hope you enjoyed and if you took the time to actually read all this thank you I appreciate. Should I make a part 2? Or Fatou's pov maybe?
Update: the response as been amazing. Like I'm actually shocked by how nice some people can be. Thank you so much.
Re-update: I had my exams this week and am really fucking exhausted and i'm just gonna wait and see what happens tonight. If it's a sad clip i'm probably gonna write the version I would've wanted to happen but i guess we'll see. Sorryyy

Alderaanian Tragedy || P.D.
Warnings: Mentions of ecstasy (in the song), mention of getting drunk
Word Count: 1.8k
The story as to how you ended up in the middle of a cantina on Ajan Kloss, dancing with the love of your life, foreheads pressed together while laughing, still high from the first two kisses just a mere few hours after the war of your generation ended.
[A/N]: i said i would write it NO THIS IS NOT ANGST I PROMISE!! it’s based off of the song “greek tragedy” which’s remix went viral on tiktok lately—if you’re gonna listen to it while reading the story, please do not listen to the remix because that’s the complete opposite of the original 😭 And yes if like five of the words seem changed I did change a few lyrics to fit the universe better!!
Poe.
That was the only person you wanted to find when you landed—everyone else could wait. Rey, Finn, L’ulo, Rose—they all could wait.
The love of your life couldn’t.
Maybe it was the absolute high you were still riding from watching all those allies drop out of hyperspace. Maybe it was relief about the war you’d been fighting for for nearly half a decade finally being over. Maybe it was fear of how many blasts had barely missed your X-Wing that last battle. Or maybe, just maybe, it was just exhaustion of keeping the secret for so long. But you needed to tell him.
After all, you had no excuses now.
We’re fighting in a war.
We can’t risk being distracted.
What if something happens to one of us?
It’s not a good time.
If he doesn’t feel the same, we won’t be able to work together anymore.
No. None of that. All those “excuses” went down with the dreadnoughts on Exegol.
You’re too lost in your thoughts to even be actively looking for him, just wandering through the crowd of ecstatic rebels because you know the moment you see his eyes, you’ll be racing toward him.
And you’re damn right.
You run into his arms so hard that you knock the breath out from your own lungs—forget about his. You know he’s saying something, you just can’t hear it over the rebels’ cheers and your own sobs. It’s practically impossible to get out of his grip, but once you do, you press your forehead so hard against his that it hurts, laughing through your tears, his face cupped in your hands and vice versa—you swear to the Maker you would’ve kissed him right then and there had Rey and Finn not nearly tackled you both to the ground with a hug.
Nobody says a thing for who knows how long—the silence in between the four of you is more than enough. Once the four of you pull apart, it takes mere seconds for you all to break out in laughter after seeing the fatigue on everyone’s faces. Nevertheless, the flyboy has something else on his mind.
“We’re definitely getting drunk tonight, right?”
“I thought we were dressing cute—” you blurt out, looking at your black skater dress and Finn’s collared shirt before seeing Poe in his signature tank top-half flightsuit and Rey in one of her regular sleeveless tunics and a jacket.
“I thought we were dressing homeless…”
“I was just too tired to change out of my flightsuit.” Finn snickers and you just roll your eyes, fighting back a smile (and failing, obviously). “It doesn’t matter, really. I look hot either way.” He sends a wink your way which you hope looks like you blatantly disregarded it—because your mind certainly didn’t.
“Don’t get too cocky, Dameron.”
Making your way down to the cantina, you can’t help but let your mind wander a little because of how flirtatious Poe is being. Sure, he was always flirty little shit, but something about this was… different.
Probably just the weight of the war off his shoulders, you tell yourself.
But that couldn't be the only thing. There had to be something else.
This. This is what you hated about being a rebel—were you still a rebel if the war was over? That’s beside the point—the hope. The hope is what you hated. Rebellions were built on hope. As long as there was hope, a rebel would keep fighting. No matter how improbable or impossible, even, the situation was, a rebel wouldn’t give up on it. It’s the only reason the Rebellion won the war, really.
And you’ve told yourself more times than you can count that work’s ideology should stay in work’s life. A motto that outrageous doesn’t just transfer over to a, well, to any love life. You’ve talked yourself down in your quarters, the hangar, your X-Wing, a fucking dreadnought, and even this cantina where you’re sitting right now.
Your heart just wouldn’t listen.
“This song—hell yes!” Poe’s excited yells pull you out of your thoughts, and it takes you a few seconds to realize that Alderaanian Tragedy is playing. “C’mon flygirl, get up! Let’s dance!”
“Flygirl?” you don’t hesitate to question the nickname—not that you were complaining, no. The opposite, really. “Since when has that been my thing?”
“Since I said so.”
“Oh really?”
“Mhm. I practically own the brand. I say what goes.” You nod teasingly but don’t budge, earning a groan from him. “Fine. You made me do this, then.” He grabs your hand and pulls you out of the booth with a surprised yelp from you. You reach a hand out to Finn and Rey but Finn just waves you off and Rey blows you a kiss, winking. Sighing, you decide to accept your fate, catching up to Poe so he doesn’t have to drag you through the crowd anymore.
“We’re smashing mics in karaoke bars…”
“Are you really going to pull us into the middle?” you yell over the pumping music, barely even being able to hear yourself.
“Is this your first time meeting me?”
“You’re running late with half your makeup on…”
Poe comes to a stop and grabs your other hand, beginning to sway to the music. You’re still a bit reluctant, which earns you a pout from him. Maker, not the damn pout.
“This method acting might pay our bills…”
You smile just the tiniest bit at remembering how much you loved this song—Poe’s grin when he sees that you’re having fun makes you start giggling almost uncontrollably.
“But soon enough, there’ll be a different role to fill…”
You sing along, finally starting to let yourself loosen up and have some fun, which makes Poe happier than he’s been in a long time.
“I love this feeling, but I hate this part…”
Poe sings along with you, giving you a little “Yeah!” of encouragement at the end.
“I wanted this to work so much, I drew our plans in the stars…”
You swear you see him point to you both before pointing up at the ceiling like you could see the stars—damn this dim lighting. Did you just imagine it, or did Poe really make that verse about the two of you—?
“Speeders are flipping, I’m in hot pursuit…”
He grabs your waist and twirls you into his chest—you swear your heart stops right then and there.
“My character’s strong, but my head is loose.”
He rolls his head back and sticks his tongue out at you—as stupid as it may be, you laugh. The bass of the beats start shaking the floor, and you both look at each other like you know what to do next.
“She hits like ecstasy…”
You’re jumping like crazy with your hands on Poe’s shoulders, laughing gleefully and letting your hair whip around without a care in the galaxy.
“Comes up and bangs the sense out of me…”
He’s singing along now, and as loud of the music may be, you can hear him—you’re closer and honestly? He’s louder. Like the song means something to him.
No, he’s just enjoying the night. Stop being a romantic for once.
“The tarot cards say it’s not that bad, the blades rotate there’s just no landing pad…”
Dramatically falling back with full faith that Poe will catch you—which he does—you try to stop yourself from thinking about how deep you are in your love for him. Dancing like this, it’s not… It’s not how best friends dance. There shouldn’t be this much tension, and there sure as hell shouldn’t be this much meaning.
“And better have said it, but darling you’re the best…”
You mouth the last four words—as does he—and pointedly tap his nose, as if to solidify that you were talking about him.
“I’m just tired of falling up the Penrose steps…”
He slows down a little bit and you gladly oblige, a little bit out of breath yourself as well.
“I hate this feeling, but I love this part…”
You let your arms drape over his shoulders, feeling like he was trying to tell you something. You look into his eyes but you can’t read them because of the lack of light—you swear you see a shimmer or a sparkle somewhere in there, though…
“She really wants to make it work, and I clearly want to let it start…”
One of his hands travels up your back while the other tucks a loose strand of your hair back in place—the simple motion setting off that Maker-damned fizzing feeling in your stomach again.
“We’ll build a podracer as soon as I get home…”
Your hands switch positions from over his shoulders to holding his face—were you two getting closer? You honestly couldn’t handle the suspense.
Fuck it.
“Oh and she hits like ecstasy…”
Your veins throb and you swear your heart explodes as your lips crash into his, which he gladly welcomes. He’s everywhere, up your back, your neck, your hair, and suddenly, he’s kissing you harder, deeper, with some sort of urge that you’ve never known before. It’s dizzying, because you feel the same thing—you’ve never wanted anyone like this before. Ever. In this moment, all you wanted was Poe. You want him closer, closer, closer, even though he can’t get any closer. Maybe time stopped when your lips met his.
“Comes up and bangs the sense out of me…”
You don’t want to break the kiss—in fact, you want to let it go on forever—but you need a second to think without his lips on yours.
Did you really just kiss him?
Poe Dameron?
The love of your life?
And he’d kissed you back?
“It’s wrong, but surely worse to leave…”
You’re searching his face for answers and he seems to be doing the same—that is, until, you both come to the conclusion that another kiss is probably the answer.
“She hits like ecstasy…”
It still isn’t clear whether or not you’d just dreamed this moment into real life, but there was something about the way he was gripping onto you. Something that screamed “I’m never going to let you go. I’m never going to let you go. I’m never going to let you go.” And honestly? You didn’t want him to.
“So free up the cheaper seats…”
Even though you’re too out of breath for kissing, you still need to be as close to him as possible—thus being the last detail of the story as to how you ended up in the middle of a cantina on Ajan Kloss, dancing with the love of your life, foreheads pressed together while laughing, still high from the first two kisses just a mere few hours after the war of your generation ended.
“Here comes an Alderaanian Tragedy.”

>>><<<
Harry couldn't keep his eyes off you all night. He stared you down everywhere you went. Following your every move across the bar. From the minute you walked out of your bedroom dressed like THAT he couldn't peel his eyes off you.
Your tight black faux leather skirt hugged every inch of your thighs. Your ass seconds from popping out of the back of it. When you did a little spin for him to tell you if he liked your outfit or not he had to hold back the groan bubbling in the back of his throat.
The thigh high boots you had on with that little crop top that made your breast so out there and full with that choker necklace around your neck was driving him mad. He had to readjust the problem in his pants many times before even walking out the door to go meet the rest of your friends.
He knew he was done for the second you teased your hair one last time in the mirror by the door. His mind immediately started flashing images of his hand laced through your hair pulling it so tightly your head snapped back as he rammed his cock so deep inside you those beautiful moans fell from your perfectly pouty lips. He'd fuck you so hard into the bed teasing you the whole time about how you couldn't take his big cock.
Your sloppy wet hole squeezing him for dear life as he pounded into you over and over again until you came all over him but he wouldn't stop there. No, he'd use you all up, make you never want to be with anyone else ever again. Have you cumming on his length until you couldn't even remember your own name.
"You coming?" You said, holding open the apartment door open, looking at him with those curious doe eyes that he'd love to see looking up from the floor as he shoved his dick so far down your throat you'd choke.
"Uh, yeh." He tried his best to wipe all his thoughts out of his mind but he couldn't help it. Ever since he saw you spread out on the living room floor, hearing your sweet moans, he wanted to fuck the soul out of you.
You smiled biting your lip as you turned to walk down the hallway. Knowing full well what he was thinking. Your hips swaying just a bit more than usual as you walked in front of him.
"Jesus, just fuck her already." Finn groaned from beside Harry snapping his eyes off you lingering at the bar to his friend.
"Whatever." He said rolling his eyes and taking a swig of his beer. If he wanted to stare at you he had to get better at hiding it. Your friends lived to give him shit.
"He's right. You stare at her any longer you're going to get a restraining order." Link laughed from the other side of Harry the second the brunette shot him a look. He was already tired of this conversation and it had just started.
"Yeah Link, like you don't look the same way whenever Addie walks into a room." The last boy, Lex, in the group smiled widely as Link flushed slightly and Finn gagged.
"Shut the fuck up that's my sister!" Finn groaned looking around the room as he tried to not get pissed about his friend fucking his sister… again.
"They've been together fo' 4 months mate. It's time t'get over it." Harry said, smiling at his now very pissed off and uncomfortable friend. Thankful the conversation had moved off you and towards anything else.
He was so tired of everyone giving him shit for how much he liked you. He just couldn't help it. From the first time he saw you he was intrigued. Your not giving a fuck attitude. Your style. Everything about you was so enticing.
He knew you were nothing but a heartbreak waiting to happen but he couldn't help the fact he thought about what it'd be like to be with.
But now with those lingering thoughts of you on the floor moaning and thrashing around, he wanted you more than ever.
"At least he's not fucking your sister." Finn argued to Lex. Their feud building. Really it was like they liked fighting about this, since it was almost every time they went out someone brought up Link and Adeline.
"No the British fucker is doing mine." Lex said, rolling his eyes before he looked at Harry.
"It was one time and I was drunk and 've said sorry 12 times! Besides, she's with Rose and I didn't know." A shudder ran through his body as he thought back to his night with Elena. He wasn't one to help someone cheat and if he would have known about Rose he definitely wouldn't have slept with her.
"I'm so glad I don't have a sister." Link said, smiling widely as Finn glared at him.
"Your brother's hot. He can be fair game." Harry smirked at Link who stood there with his mouth gaping.
"Oh fuck, he got you there." Lex cackled, Finn joining along with Harry as Link grumbled out something about killing all of them.
It didn't take long for Harry's eyes to move back across the room to you. He should have guessed you'd be at the bar chatting up some guy who had bought you the same cheap beer he was drinking. His arm touching your leg.
You only looked away from your drink for a second. Your head turning around to look for all your friends. It was only a second but it was long enough for the creep trying to get you home with him to slip something into your drink.
"Holy shit." Harry coughed, spitting out the alcohol in his mouth back into his bottle, ready to go kick someone's ass when Link's hand reached out to stop him.
"You're going to miss the best part." His friend said making Harry turn to him, eyebrows furrowed.
"Wot?"
"Ohhh, did someone drug her drink, again?" Finn asked way too excited as they all turned to look at you staring at your drink. Your eyes rising so slowly to the guy in front of you before turning to the group of boys.
Harry watched completely confused when Finn gave a subtle nod. Your head snapping back to the creep in front of you. The sweetest smile Harry had ever seen coming across your face.
"God, I love this." Lex said making Harry look at him momentarily before focusing back on you.
He was going to walk over to you but Link's hand stayed firmly over his chest as he shook his head no. Pointing to you now gesturing to the guy somewhere behind him.
Harry's heart racing as the jacked up jock turned around in his seat to look behind him. You looked over to the group of boys sending them a wink before switching the bottles of beer around before the guy turned back to you.
"Fuck, everytime. These idiots, I swear." Finn gave a short chuckle as the huge guy sitting across from you at the bar started drinking his drink so pleased with himself as you picked up your own and took a large gulp.
"Not like they don't deserve it." Link shrugged, removing his hand from Harry's chest.
His eyes never left you. At the bar chatting up this asshole like he didn't about date rape you. Your arm resting on the jerks leg as he started to sway in his seat. Your hand reaching out for the dudes phone, sending a text from it before putting it back in his pocket.
Your hands running around in his other pants pockets until you pulled out a small baggie and the guys wallet. Placing a kiss on the sleeping man's face, an outline of your lipstick left behind on his cheek as you turned so triumphantly towards your group of friends.
"Looks like drinks are on…" You paused opening the wallet one more time. "Aaron Anders. What a fucking name."
"Here you go, knock yourself out and make sure you flush those for me. Can't let anymore rapey pervs get ahold of that shit in here." You said throwing the wallet and baggie to Finn who caught it instantly.
"Who'd y'text from his phone?" Harry asked, his head peeking around you to see the guy being lifted out of the bar by his friends.
"The creeps friends. Couldn't let him die or some shit. That'd be hard to explain." You shrugged, not bothering to look around at the guy being pulled out of the bar.
Really. It was his own fault.
"Where's Ellie and Rose?" Lex said, turning his head around the room to try and look for them which was really pointless.
"Probably fucking in the bathroom." You said, not even attempting to look around. If you knew Rose, she was already trying to win her girl back.
"I'm serious about those pills, Finn, flush them." You said, turning your attention to the guy on your right. His hand running through the billowing waves of dark black hair at the top of his head as he debated what you said.
You should have known the idiot would be thinking about taking them. He had a real problem when it came to drugs.
"We could just take them and see where the night goes." He said, his dark chocolate brown puppy dog eyes looking up to meet yours. Making you laugh at how serious he was being.
He was always a fun time but the kid had some real issues.
"Dude, no."
"Yeah, you got some serious problems."
"I think we should get y'sum therapy mate."
"Fuck, sugguest one thing and all the sudden its oh Finn you have a drug addiction. Fuck you guys." Finn huffed, turning to leave the group and heading for the bathrooms. Your smile wide across your face as you watched to make sure he didn't detour to go date rape drug himself.
It was only a few seconds of you staring at the now closed men's bathroom door before you felt eyes burning through you. Your attention snapping up to Harry who didn't even bother to look away from you.
"Wanna dance?" You asked him, licking your lips. His eyes focusing on them so intensely your breathing caught in your throat. The way he looked at you sometimes, like he was ready to pounce on you, take you right then and there. It was exhilarating.
Your hand wrapped around his wrist, pulling him through the crowd before he even had a chance to respond to your question. As much as you love playing this teasing game with him he wasn’t going to be staring at you all night long, looking like he was about 2 seconds from ripping your clothes to shreds, without at least dancing with you.
"GET IT HARRY!" You heard Link yell from behind you, making you roll your eyes and try harder to push through all the people on the dance floor.
"If you don't shut the fuck up I'm going to tell Addie about this shit. We can't take you anywhere." You heard the last bit of what Lex yelled at Link and a sharp “ow”, you assumed Lex had hit him and honestly, you were thankfully.
Your misfit group of friends, while very entertaining at times, were assholes. They stuck their noses in everyone’s business and had no problem forcing themselves into things that didn’t concern them. They were rude, overbearing, and you loved them for it. Even if it was a little much at times.
Your hands instantly wrapped behind the back of his neck when you made it to a clear enough spot on the dance floor. His firm grip on your waist sent sparks through you. Your big doe eyes flashing up to his smugly smiling face, knowing damn well you felt whatever was between you two.
His body was like a magnet slowly drawing you closer and closer to him. You swayed to the beat of the music, moving in complete sync with him, his body pressed so tightly to yours as you moved back and forth.
The air around you two became thick with the body heat of the others around you. Your hair stuck to the back of your neck but you couldn’t have cared less. The way he was holding you to him like you were the last thing on this earth that he wanted to touch had you wanting to beg him to fuck you right now.
You had no idea dancing could be such a turn on.
He pulled you in even closer to him, his large hands hungrily running over every inch of you that he could possibly touch.
You stopped dancing, biting your lip as you looked at him. His own movements stopping with you. His eyes focusing from your chest that was pressed against him to your lips.
"Can I kiss you?" You asked, eyes pleading up to him. You'd never wanted to kiss someone so much in your whole life.
His lips curling up slightly at the edges as he hummed, thinking about what you'd ask. His hand moving your hair off your forehead, wrapping around the back of your neck as he pulled your lips to his.
Fireworks wasn't even close to how it felt, more like an explosion.
Sparks.
Fire.
Shooting flames of adrenaline pulsating from his mouth to your own. Consuming your entire being into him.
His tongue forcing its way into your mouth with no hesitation. So damn determined to get what he wanted from you. So demanding, so forceful, so dominating.
The submissive inside of you whimpering. Clawing its way to the surface of your mind.
"I love being right." You heard the sweet voice from beside you. Pulling back from Harry not even needing to look beside you to know she'd be wearing a smug smile on her face.
"I like y'bein' right too." He said to Rose. Your eyebrows furrowed as you looked at him before turning to her. Silently questioning what she was talking about.
"I said you'd totally fuck him. He didn't think so." She shrugged, her head laying on Elena's shoulder.
For being so cozy with Rose the girl looked like she wanted to murder you. Her eyes narrowing at the hands around your waist. Harry not letting your body go very far from his.
"Must be nice to be right all the time, baby." You said with a smile. "We're going home."
>>>
Any shred of decency you had left in you was gone as soon as the car door to your uber closed shut. You were on him from the minute you two were semi alone. Legs straddling over his waist in the backseat. Your skirt riding up so high your ass was exposed. The cool air coming from the vents licked your hot skin.
"Gonna give him a show like y'did me?" Harry asked when his lips momentarily disconnected from yours. That swoon worthy smug on his face as you shrugged.
"Don't think he'd mind." You said, leaning back down to connect your lips to his. His hands grabbing your thighs, running up to your cheeks of your behind, pulling you forward onto his clothed length.
Rose definitely wasn't lying. The dude was fucking stacked. Your core clenching involuntary at the sheer thought of him sliding into you. Already feeling bad for the abuse you were about to put your body through.
"Not that the free porn isn't great but we've been outside your place for 10 minutes." The guy from the front finally interrupted you two.
Harry pulled away with a smile on his face as he slapped your ass signaling you to get off of him.
You squeaked, slapping his shoulder, grumbling about him being a dick as you got out of the car. Harry tapping the poor drivers shoulder when he finally got out, shaking his head, smiling at you, his arm wrapping around your shoulders as he pulled you up the stairs to your apartment.
The second the door to your apartment flew open he was on you. Hands gripping the back of your neck as he held your lips to his. Your feet stumbling over his as you both tried to take off your shoes without disconnecting your lips. His arms wrapping around your waist to steady you on your feet.
"Eager?" You asked, smug smile on your face as you peered up at him.
"No idea sweetheart. Had t'deal with a hard-on all week after y'little show." He said pulling you in closer to him. His hands traveling down the valley of your back to your bottom, squeezing each cheek hard in this hand.
"My room. Now." He ordered. Your lips rolling into your mouth at his demanding tone of voice. Already loving the idea of him being so rough with you.
You turned on your heel heading for his bedroom. Taking off your top as you walked down the hallway with him shortly behind you. Throwing the useless piece of cloth over your shoulder, you heard him groan.
You felt his arms back around you, his chest bare chest pressed against your back as he guided you quickly into his room. Slamming the door behind him and promptly pressing you up against the flimsy wood.
"Thought I said my room, not get undressed?" He asked a small smile playing on the corner of his lips as he watched your chest rise up and down from your heavy breathing.
"Thought you knew I liked to break rules." You said arms snaking behind yourself to undo your bra clasp. The black material falling to the floor in between you two.
His eyes immediately focusing on your chest. You could have sworn they visibly darkened. A shiver running through your body as he looked at you. His eyes eagerly eating up every inch of your chest. Studying every crevice of you as his hands grasped each breast firmly. His slightly callused fingers running across your soft skin was such a contrasting feeling to anyone else you'd been with. Taking the air from your lungs as he continued to touch you like it was the only thing he'd ever wanted to do.
"Fuck." He groaned when he heard your soft sighs, leaning down and capturing your lips again.
Your arms laced behind his neck as he guided you to his bed. Pushing you down on the soft blankets. Following you down to the bed. He laid over top of you, leg between yours, hands on either side of your head as he kissed the soul out of you.
Every movement of his tongue against yours had your hips shifting for any sort of friction you could find. Thinking of the things that tongue could do to other parts of you as you pulled him in closer to you. Your chest pressed tight against his as your nails ran down his back and eventually to the button of his pants.
"Eager?" He asked, pulling away from you with a smile, throwing your own words back at you.
"Yeah I am. So get these off." You said, pulling his pants down the little bit you could from your position under him. Not caring how desperate your voice sounded. You were impatient and not above showing it.
In the short time of you kissing him in the club to now he had gotten you so worked up. Every touch he laid on you sent sparks shooting through your entire body. Kissing him was better than any kiss you'd ever had.
It was already addictive. He was addictive.
"Awe, lovey, 'M sorry want me t'touch y'yeh?" His one hand lifting from beside your head, pushing up your skirt.
Your breath catching as his fingers gently ran across your soaking wet underwear. Your hips lifting of their own accord, chasing his hand as he pulled it away from you.
"Jesus, fuckin' soaked fo' me."
The tease knew what he was doing to you. Smiling down so brightly with those perfectly white straight teeth gleaming at you, taunting you. You groaned in frustration, rolling your eyes at him as you laid further back into the mattress.
"Harry." You whined, shifting your hips again. Hands desperately pulling at the front of his undone pants, finally freeing him.
His length hitting you on the leg before bouncing to his stomach. Your eyes widened as you looked down at the very large situation you had at hand.
"That's not gonna fit." You said staring down at the monstrosity before you as he laughed deeply from his chest, shaking his head at you.
"I'm serious! That's like a fucking forearm!" You knew Rose saidwhe was supposed ro be huge but the guy was as big as a porn star. There was no way that thing was supposed to fit inside you. No way.
"Guess I'll have t'get y'ready then." He said, standing from the bed, slipping off his pants one leg at a time. His eyes never leaving you for one minute.
You cautiously eyed him as he continued to smile down at you. You could feel his ego inflating by the second which was infuriating but you honestly had no idea how the hell he planned on getting that fucking thing inside you without it hurting.
"You'll stop if it hurts right?" You asked, making him pause as he got back onto the bed.
"Course. Y'still want t'do this?" He asked, slowly backing away but you quickly reached for him, arms around his neck.
"Yeah just wanted to make sure." You quickly kissed him again. Hoping he wouldn't start having second thoughts about this. You were already here, half dressed, and turned on. It'd be a shame to waste a good night out and not get laid.
"Tell me if y'get uncomfortable, yeh?" He asked, pulling away from you, his eyes that soft cute green again, making you bite your lip as you nodded your agreement.
You laid back down on the bed as he moved further into you. Resting on your elbows as those soft satin lips you were slowly becoming obsessed with connected to yours again. Calming to waves of anxiety in your mind.
His hands smoothly unzipping the side zipper of your skirt with ease. Slowly pulling the taunt fabric down your legs. The tips of his fingers gently brushing across your silky legs as the fabric was pulled off and tossed carelessly to the floor.
His lips parting from your needy mouth. Trailing his lips across the sensitive skin of your collarbone, down to the swells of your breast. His tongue running circles across your pebbled nipples, slowly, but with determination to give care to each one individually. His lips curling at the sounds of your gasps and sighs when he pulled back slightly to blow cool air gently across the warm trail his tongue left across your chest.
Watching so intently when your nipples poked to hard points. A satisfied hum coming from him as he observed your body's reaction to him. Your chest moving up and down so quickly, hands clutching his blanket for dear life.
Trailing lingering wet kisses down your stomach. Your legs involuntarily clenching when he nipped lightly at the sensitive skin close to your hip bone. A hiss coming from you as he repeated the action on the other side.
His tattooed hand running across the thin lace fabric of your underwear and you could feel his grin against your heated skin. His fingers gently tugging down the remainder of your fabric.
Leaving you completely naked in front of him. Your heart rate picking up the second he moved so swiftly in between your legs. Resting on your elbows to see him sat with one of your legs on either side of his head. His hands running down the insides of your thighs, making you clench around nothing.
"What did Rose say again?" He asked, finger gently pulling back your lips slightly. His thumb rubbing light circles around your bundle of nerves before looking up at you, waiting for you to answer his question.
"What?" You asked, confused as to why these two insisted on talking about the other as you laid beneath them. He had you dripping a puddle between your legs and he really expected you to talk about Rose?
"I think she said sumthin' 'bout makin' y'sing right, love?" He asked, not bothering to give you any time to answer.
His mouth connecting with your core in an instant. His tongue flat and thick as he leisurely swiped from your entrance all the way to your clit. Your head landing back on the bed as you let out a shocked moan.
"Fuck, y'taste so sweet." He said his British accent somehow getting thicker as he became entranced in you. His arms wrapping around your thighs pulling you down on his face as he took his time tasting you.
Your eyes struggled to stay open as you peered down at him completely devouring you. The things he could do while kissing you was impressive. But this? This was on a different level.
He took complete joy in hearing your untamed moans. Showing no care in world as he dragged his face around in your arousal. Happily lapping up every single drop from you as he switched so skillfully between your pulsating bundle of nerves and your entrance.
He was a man who hadn't ate in years.
And you were his meal.
His hands around your thighs digging into your skin only added to your insane amount of pleasure. His fingers embedded into your skin leaving bruises on your soft silky skin for everyone to see.
You felt like an instrument being so beautifully played. Chords echoing from deep in your chest as his fingers slipped inside of you, pumping to a distant imaginary metronome.
Your body burned brighter than the sun, a warming sensation pulling at the pit of your stomach. Completely different than anything you'd ever experienced before.
"Harry." You breathed out, hands lacing through his hair to pull his mouth off you.
"It feels different." You whined as a third finger entered you. His pace not faltering the slightest bit as he smiled up to you.
That adorable angelic simple popping out was such a contrast to the devilish things he was doing to you.
"I know." Was the only thing he said before his mouth was back on you, giving light suction to your clit as his fingers expertly slid into you on final time.
The dam had broke. Flooding, gushing, out of you as your vision blackened around the edges. You'd never had an out of body experience before but you were sure this was what they felt like.
Your whole body tensing before a wave of mind numbing euphoria rained over you. The moan you let out was like thunder, roaring in a tidal wave of absolute pleasure.
You had no idea sex could feel like this.
Your body no longer felt like your own as you laid on the now wet bed. Slight twitches of your leg was the only thing keeping your eyes even slightly open until the smug smiling Harry came into your line of sight. He licked his lips so arrogantly as he brushed the hair from your face.
"How was that fo' gettin' y'ready, love?" His playful green eyes would have infuriated you with his taunting tone of voice but you were too gone in that fuzzy state of mind to notice.
"Amazing." You said honestly, you had never had anything even remotely close to that before. Your body was still experiencing random shocks and twitches as he guided you to a less wet spot of his bed.
He parted your legs, hands running down the inside of your thighs as his length slapped gently against your bundle of nerves. Jolts running through you everytime he sprung back to your clit.
He slowly guided himself through your soaked folds. Watching your lips encased around him. He let out a low hiss when his tip slipped inside you, already stretching your walls.
You whimpered at the feeling of his thick tip sliding in and out of you. Slowly working his way up to you being able to take all of him. He moved so carefully. Inching his way fully full inside of you.
"God, y'fuckin' tight." He groaned as your walls clamped around him. Pulling him even further into you.
You whimpered out a pathetic moan when he pulled out of you slowly all the way to his tip and fully back into your tight channel. His eyes glued to where you were connected, watching himself finally fuck you.
"What's wrong, pup?" He asked when he saw your hips shift forward slightly, the cocky smile on his face as he leaned down over you. Resting on one forearm his other hand wrapping around the back of your neck.
"Harder." You whined, bucking your hips underneath him, trying to get him to move the way you wanted him to. Desperate for him to make you feel like he did before.
"Thought y'couldn't handle me?" He said his hips ever so slightly pushing harder into you. Making you wither and moan beneath him.
"Please, Harry." You cried, arms wrapping around the back of his neck as you. Your legs connecting around his back trying anything to get him to finally fuck you.
He connected his lips to yours swallowing your cries and moans as his hips rolled against yours. Crashing against you with so much force against that sweet spot inside of you could barely think straight.
Your body became nothing but a moldable toy for him. He ripped you up from the bed, turning you around within a blink of an eye. Slamming himself back into you from behind.
"Oh, fuck." You cried, head hanging down between your bent arms.
"Wanna hear what 'M doin' t'ya" He said breathlessly from behind you. His hand around your neck as he brought you to his sweat covered chest.
Your hands holding on to his one arm for dear life as he took whatever he wanted. His lips pressed against your ear. His breathless, groans and whispers of how fucking good you felt wrapped around him so tightly were the only thing you could hear.
Your body couldn't take anymore. The high just on the horizon as his thrusts started to get harder and sloppier.
"Gonna cum all over my cock, sweet girl?" He asked, a satisfied hummed leaving him when your walls tightened around him at his words.
"Such a dirty girl, puppy." He whispered into your ear. Chuckling softly at the moan that left you, shaking his head.
He let your body fall to the bed. Your arms barely catching yourself before your face smacked into one of his pillows. You were so close to going again. Your orgasm so close you could taste it as his hands held tightly onto your waist.
"Should 'ave known y'wanted me to use y'like a cocksleve." He said so close to your ear as his front draped over your backside. An earth shattering moan left you at his words. Throwing your hips backwards faster into him as your body worked of its own accord.
His free hand rubbing the perfect amount of pressure on your clit was all you needed to finally let go.
Fucking him was the closest you'd ever get to heaven.
Your eyes closed, rolling into the back of your head as the euphoric feeling swept you away. Your body shaking as you let it all out. Let yourself go completely. Your fuzzy state of mind only increasing with this long lasting effect he had on your body.
You'd never cum as hard as you did when you were with him.
The finale snap if his hips and warm release across your ass was what snapped you out of it. Laying down flatly on his bed as he laid down beside you. Arm over his face as he tried to take in much needed air.
"We should 'ave done that ages ago." He said, making you laugh as you got up from your spot in his bed.
"We could always do it again. I wouldn't mind." You said as you picked up your random articles of clothing from around his room.
"Where y'goin'?" He asked, removing the arm from his face. The confused look he was giving you was nothing short of adorable.
"I'm going to my room." You said simply shrugging as you grabbed the last thing you thought you had in his space.
"Why?" He asked, sitting up on his elbow as he watched you scanning for any leftover articles of clothing you may have laying around.
"Cause I don't do stay overs." You pulled your underwear out from beneath his pants quickly adding them to the pile of clothes you had to take back with you to your room.
"Wot?"
"Have you ever seen someone leaving here in the morning that I've been with?" You asked him, finally, done looking for everything you could finally talk to him face to face.
"No?"
"Yeah, because I don't let people stay over and I don't do the whole cuddling thing or staying at theirs. Just easier that way." You said sternly. Making it well known from the start that this wasn't going to be anything serious.
You didn't do serious.
"See ya tomorrow, Harry." You said with a smile as you walked out his room shutting his down behind you.
He groaned lay back against the bed hands running down his face as he looked at the ceiling in his room. His mind running with all the things he liked about you. All the ways you were perfect.
And God, the sex, it was just the best with you. Everything about you was just so fucking addictive.
And now that he's had a taste, he wants more.

could you pls write Kieu accidentally stumbling upon Fatou’s workplace and them kind of recreating Romeo&Juliet aquarium scene (also would be nice if finally explained her behavior and apologized for ghosting her).
Kieu My is running out of time and options. She knows she made several terrible mistakes not only about Fatou but with her friends too, with Ava, letting Constantin and Ismail say whatever they felt was funny and still be their friend. And she’s trying but Fatou won’t give her half a chance after everything that happened.
They spent a lot of time together the past few weeks, studying and making their presentation but it was always very formal and cold, with no place for small talk, and it wasn’t for the lack of trying on Kieu My’s part. Fatou barely looked at her and Kieu My wanted to leave and cry hiding somewhere where nobody would see. It’s hard to explain what the fuck is wrong with her even for herself, so it’s impossible to explain it to Fatou.
She decided to talk to Ava first, it sounded so much easier right now. The situation presented itself when she was at their place and Zoe was arguing again with Finn over the phone, quickly leaving her lunch behind to go hide in her room to finish the conversation, leaving Kieu My alone with Ava in the kitchen, finishing their lunch, Kieu My more like playing with her food than eating, too worried about whatever is happening between her and Fatou. In between all the mess that is her head, she’s sure she just wants Fatou to like her, to talk to her again.
“I’m sorry.” She blurted out when the silence started to make her more anxious, looking at Ava over her long lashes.
Ava lifted her eyebrows as high as they could go, shrugging a little.
“What?”
“About what happened last year. I was horrible to you, was too happy to be praised by the boys, and the cool kids and I was mean to you when I shouldn’t. So I’m really, really sorry. I know it doesn’t erase the stupid things I did or said, but I think it’s a way to start.”
It wasn’t enough, obviously, and Ava wasn’t impressed with her either, but she felt good saying sorry. It was in the back of her mind for so long, especially now that they’re spending more time together even if they don’t mean to.
“Okay...” She nodded her head, trying to move on with the conversation rather than actually to start any type of relationship between them. Kieu My assumed her behavior had a lot to do with Fatou too, “You know I’m not Fatou, right?”
Kieu My looked at her food getting cold in her plate, feeling her cheeks heat up instantly.
“She hates me, I get it. And I gave her reasons. But this has nothing to do with her, I promise.” Kieu My rests against the back of her chair, looking at Ava for once, trying not to feel too embarrassed or confusing, “You’re so cool, so beautiful. Even if we’re not friends, we are constantly running into each other these days and so I wanted you to know I’m trying to be better and how amazing you are even though I’m sure you don’t need me saying that, but I honestly wish I was as brave as you. I still fuck up, clearly, but...I’m a mess and I get too inside my head sometimes, deciding to keep things to myself instead of using my words, of calling people out when they’re being assholes, disrespecting you.”
“I know someone who can get too inside their heads too so I get it.” Ava presses her lips together, nodding her head and Kieu My has to bite her lip not to ask about what to do about Fatou.
-
She stops outside the store looking inside, the blue hue painting everything like it’s a huge aquarium with smaller aquariums inside. There are so many things inside, but Kieu My finally finds a human, walking in between the tall shelves, mesmerized by the aquatic beings, smiling to the fishes.
There’s no real excuse for her to be here, especially not this late - Kieu My tried to assume the hour Fatou would be almost free to go home - but she decided against all her insecurities and came anyway.
Just tell her how you feel. About her, about everything, how stupid you are.
Kieu My takes a few steps back, standing in front of a wall instead of a long glass window and she fixes her hair and her coat over her shoulders, taking a deep breathe in and then out before taking a bee line to the door, knowing there’ll be a bell that will reverberate her arrival.
Fatou appears from behind one of the shelves and Kieu My looks at her, holding her own hand, pinching the soft skin of her finger with her thumb and index finger.
“Hi...”
Kieu My’s heart skips a beat and she tries to keep herself calm but the second she manages to whisper “Hi...” back she hears her voice breaking and she curses under her breath.
“How can I help you?”
As she’s there, staring at Fatou, Kieu My wishes she never gave up on drawing. It was her favorite hobby growing up and she stopped when she started worrying too much about looks, about what other would think. Now she thinks about Fatou’s facial features, her face in the shape of a perfectly smooth peach, her high cheek bones, the long lashes, rounded and soft, pink lips. She would do a terrible work at trying to recreate it, but it would give her something physical to put her attention and mental notes on.
Thinking about Fatou is not enough and that’s all she has right now since Fatou is so hurt by what she did when she was drunk and scared.
“Hm, I came to talk to you...” Kieu My decides to walk around the place. Some distance sounds better than having Fatou’s hurt eyes staring at her, quietly asking for her to leave Fatou alone.
She doesn’t get any answer so it’s best to just say what she came to say in hopes it’ll help Fatou understand her a little bit.
“I don’t regret kissing you. Even though thinking about it now, I feel like I jumped you, not giving you much of a choice...so I’m sorry. It wasn’t my intention, I was just extremely nervous.”
She stops in front of one of the biggest aquariums and Fatou is on the other side, following her with her curious eyes.
“You were the first girl I’ve ever kissed. And the only one. I had never thought about it before. I mean, I thought about it, but never thought I would actually have the courage to do it.”
Kieu My pinches the skin of the her finger tighter, feeling so dumb and childish for stuttering so much just because she’s thinking and talking about kissing a girl that she has a big crush on.
“I know you know this, how terrible I am with words and how confusing I am...”
“You don’t have to explain yourself to me.” Fatou finally says and Kieu My looks at her, the water moving and the blue lights making everything so dreamy and calm. She sounds soft and understanding like always and Kieu My smiles, thinking about their kiss and how happy she was that Fatou didn’t push her away.
“But I want to. I know I was stupid and rude before and so I want to try and explain myself as best as I can.”
“Okay...” Fatou whispers in a playful way and Kieu My continues exploring the store while Fatou stands there, watching.
“Even though it was just one kiss I was overthinking it for days, not sure what your reaction would be. Because you said you didn’t date your friends...”
“And we weren’t friends.”
Kieu My stops behind a shelf filled with fish food and she closes her eyes. Of course Fatou wouldn’t think they were friends. Kieu My mistakenly thought they were while talking and watching scary movies together. And that made everything messy in her head.
“I was having a bunch of stupid...family drama and I held on to the idea of kissing you, like you being the first girl I ever kissed or have feelings for and when we were that close and I was so happy - and drunk - that we were getting to know each other...I just did it and got scared of your reaction.”
She goes around the last aisle and turns on her heels, walking back and forth three times before starting making her way to the front of the store, walking down every hallway again to buy her late night visit more time.
“I was afraid of what you would want to talk about that night, I was afraid that you would tell Nora or Zoe. Not because I’m ashamed, but just because...I’m a mess, Fatou. And I drunkenly kissed you on New Year’s Eve of all nights. I actually thought about doing it at midnight...but that would be way too much, even for me.”
She hears a laughter and she tries to listen to it carefully, in between the fishes swimming, searching for food on the surface and the tiny engines making the water move.
There’s only the big aquarium between them again and Kieu My quietly bends down a little to see Fatou sitting on the counter, probably the same height as Kieu My now with her tall boots...
“I never meant to seem that I didn’t care, that it was just a one night mistake type of thing. People always assume I’m so cool, that I always know what to do or how to say things. But that’s the complete opposite. I’m terrible at expressing myself. And I’m so afraid of being judged.”
“You used a lot of words tonight already. Can’t believe you would be bad with them.” Kieu My stops next to the aquarium, watching Fatou with no water filter in between them, just the blue light that makes Fatou look like a dream.
“I had a lot of days to think about what I wanted to say. And you were mad at me and I wanted to fix it.”
Fatou nods her head, swinging her legs in the air, one sock a dark pink and the other one a burnt orange, matching her white jeans.
“You’re forgiven.” She smiles shyly, her soft cheeks getting more rounded with her lips going up a little bit. Kieu My exhales and smiles at her too, hoping she feels the same Kieu My does when she smiles.
“Thank you...”
“No problem.”
Kieu My looks down at her boots. Everything she planned to say is more or less out, but she wants another chance, she wants to spend more time with Fatou...
“Ismail told me about the turtle you guys are taking care of...”
Fatou nods her head, a lot more excited to be talking about the child she shares with Ismail of all people.
“Maike, yes.”
“...Can I meet them?” She tries, putting her hands inside her pockets so Fatou doesn’t see her shaky hands.
“You want to meet Maike?” She asks so surprised and excited and Kieu My lifts her eyebrows, nodding her head.
“Yeah, if you’ll let me.”
“You can meet Maike if you want...I’m hiding them in my house though...”
Kieu My thinks about going to Fatou’s house, exploring her bedroom, learning more about her by just watching how she decorates her private space, spending more time with her always sounds like the best thing ever.
“I would love to meet them.”
“Good! We can go after school tomorrow...” Fatou sort of asks, assuming Kieu My will say no, probably.
“Yeah...hm, of course, I’m so excited!”
They both laugh the awkwardness off and Kieu My moves her weight from one feet to the other, offering to help Fatou close the store tonight.

The Mandalorian s2 ep1 Reactions Post That’s right I’m BACK
and none of you not even god himself can stop me from rambling about space cowboy dad and tiny green baby stuff for much longer than any sane person should
the TL;DR is that I still love this show SO MUCH, beware a bunch of spoilers under the cut!
- costume design wise I LOVE how badly the armour fits Cobb Vanth
especially when you get shots with him and Din side by side for contrast:
It’s not just that it’s clearly not made for him (it seems he’s a lot lankier and more wiry than Boba is), he simply doesn’t know how to wear it, and he doesn’t know how to take care of it, because he doesn’t know what it means. Remember when Din’s breastplate got bent completely out of shape by the mudhorn and he had it repaired to the best of his ability long before they even finished with the ship? That’s why he looks so grounded and natural in it and Vanth has sort of a clumsy Spiderman-in-his-first-home-made-costume air about him. (also Boba’s helmet has a beautiful heft and solidity to it in this, they make all the beskar have a Feel and weight to it, makes it feel important)
I like that Vanth is taller than Din; everything that drives home that Din’s strength doesn’t come from being naturally physically imposing or impressive is a joy to me
- Boba’s armour seems to be confirmed to be real beskar, which gives me so much hope that they’re doing something actually nuanced and interesting with Boba and Jango’s cultural identities as Mandalorians (whether they do consider themselves that or not, for example), unlike George Lucas’ inexplicable yet unbending stance of ‘They aren’t and never were lol get fucked Fetts’
the way the triumphant heroic part of the mando music sputtered and died when the man himself showed up tho... uh-oh this might be bad news
man but that’s a stunning and surprising way to introduce a well-known character divorced from what makes them so iconic, though, just from that I’m going to trust they know what they’re doing (AND they got temuera morrison back I’m so EXCITED!!!). without the armor there’s the face of someone who shared that face with literal millions and at the same time must be looking older than his father ever got to at this point, and that’s super interesting as a starting point to me. (I... guess there’s still a chance it’s a fakeout and that it’s actually another clone, but that would be such a letdown when they’ve already given us this haha)
- an excellent [mando sighs] moment
this opening scene did a great job of re-summarizing him for the audience -- establishing again that he gives you one chance at dealing with him fairly and if you insist on continuing to be an asshole about it, you’re toast, the fact that his fighting style is so much about being able to tank blows rather than not getting hit in the first place, the horror movie monster mando setup as he stalked the dude down and strung him up, the Poetic Justice predicated on some very careful word choices, and most importantly “where I go, he goes”... all wonderful, I’m sure I’ll watch this scene back for fine details and better looks at the background characters many many times
(word seems to have spread about him and the baby for real now, which makes me VERY nervous btw)
- Pulserifle’s back! Jetpack’s back! Razor Crest’s back! Grappling line’s back! PELLI’S BACK!!!!!! Tattooine... is also back *Finn voice* Why does everyone want to go back to Tattooine????
I really enjoyed the way they fleshed out and (for lack of a better word) humanized the sand people, though, if you are going back to this desert hellplanet again that is a worthy reason to do it
- Din swearing :O!! and one of the less egregious star wars swears too, I’m fine with this
- in campaign star wars news: I guess there was sort of both a binbon and a jubna in this ep! what a time to be alive
- as usual I love the jawa. a bright spot in any day, just a bunch of lil goblin-y friends hanging out having the best time loving sparkly crystals and rescuing silver foxes.
get in loser we’re going shopping
-
I uh. Do you think. Hm. Is there maybe a metaphor here somewhere. Is there perhaps a hidden, one may say double, meaning, at play, right here, in this image? Who can say, it’s just niggling at me (there’s a very similar set of shots with Toro in season 1, but seemingly the show went ‘I fear we might have gone too subtle with it, let’s amp it up this time’ over the season break loool)
honestly though this dynamic really highlighted everything I love about the ways Din performs masculinity. It’s so much softer and more community/collaboration focused and more comfortable to be around than Vanth’s version -- and Vanth isn’t a bad dude by any stretch of the imagination, it’s not hard to see why he’s like that considering where he’s from, he’s just such a... man. The lone person who can protect this village! The only man who’s got what it takes! It’s all on his shoulders and no one else’s, so do exactly as he says or he’ll put a hole in you! (I think it’s telling that one of his first comments to Din is ‘I’m sure you call the shots wherever you’re from, but ‘round here, I’m the person who tell folks what to do’, because as we as the audience knows, Din very much does not call the shots of where he’s from lol) I guess it says some nice things about the tribe of Mandos Din is from that this is how he approaches things, and it says some good things about Vanth how quickly he comes around to this smarter and less confrontational/domineering style of doing things once he’s been exposed to it and sees how it works. it’s just neat
(it’s smart of Favreau to set his ~*lone gunslinger*~ character up like this, too, it makes him so much more interesting and versatile)
- With the way Din says ‘a Mandalorian Armorer sent me on my path’ it does seem confirmed that’s the equivalent of a priest role or a sort of shaman -- I wonder if he knows the name of ‘The’ Armorer or if they take on the role as a whole identity
- the sheer contrast between the two people who wanted Din to take his helmet off for them in this ep tho... wants Mando’s armour off for horrible awful reasons and got exactly what he deserved:
wants Mando’s armour off for entirely sympathetic and understandable, just culturally uninformed, thirsty thirsty reasons & also having drinks together:
(the sort of... little lick over his bottom lip he does there? keep it in your pants vanth my GODjflsadf he’s a good dude tho he understands and respects the ‘no armour removal before marriage’ thing and backs down gracefully)
- This is a nuanced thing: I don’t think I actually ship it (not in a requited way from Din’s side, anyway, Vanth I’m 100% sure about lol), but the incredible potential for out-of-context-taking of “Take it off, or I will”/”...we doin’ this in front of the kid?” is uh astounding
(anyone got the vibe Vanth sort of had something with the bartender too? no just me? well well)
- I was never really scared Din was actually dead or hurt b/c baby wasn’t scared and I figure he’d know lol, a very useful fear barometer
- “What’s the plan?” “Take care of the child” “What are you gonna do?” “I don’t know, but wish me luck *yeets his new bro out of harm’s way before diving in head first himself*” fksdjhfkjlashdfkjsldahfkasldjhfskldajhfsadkjfh WHAT a summation of Din’s entire approach to battle & life, dad please you carry a not insignificant part of my heart around with you be careful
(Also with the heavy implication that Boba was watching the whole thing... can you imagine him just looking on as Din throws himself down that gullet like a madman. There must have been some ‘o_-7 *headscratch headscratch* ???’ going on for him there)
it’s kind of sweet that din trusts vanth will take care of the baby if something happens though, they really bonded quickly huh
- the sand people who kept willingly going over to the krayt dragon’s cave are honestly braver and more admirable than anyone else has ever been, I kept just shouting in anguish as they were gobbled up, they deserved better
- can we talk about how clear it still is that Din’s just... lonely. When he thinks he’s found another Mando and he sounds almost reverent with relief... and then it gets odder and odder (’uh... drinks? I guess... does he have drinking straws with him or -- HE’S TAKING THE HELMET OFF???’ oh buddy)
I wonder if they’re building towards something about him realizing it doesn’t have to be Mandos for him to trust and bond with people longer term? Basically all the characters he’s met and we’ve watched him form attachments to and get help from are non-Mandos -- Kuiil :’^(, Cara, Omera, Cobb Vanth, IG-11 :^’’(, Greef Karga to a degree. Establishing so firmly what he’s looking for this early would be good setup for a ‘what a character thinks they want vs. what they need’ thing later on just on a writing level, anyway, Boba Fett could bring in some interesting points of view about Mandalorianness too
- baby’s happy gurgles when he sees pelli!!!!!! din speaking sand people language and petting alligator doggies!!!!!!
- pedro pascal’s voice work remains an utter joy to me. din’s measured, earnest, occasionally slightly stilted way of talking is still so good, and then he does things like inserting some more... idk life is the wrong word but that more charged and dynamic tone he took on when he said (”I thought you weren’t a gambler”) “I’m not”. *chef kiss*
- if the pulse rifle’s stun is able to do that to a fuckn krayt dragon... that’s some serious shit din is carrying around with him lol (interestingly the actual shooty pew-pew part of it didn’t seem to do much to it, but then I guess he was shocking it from the inside out and not through thick hide, so idk)
- my only real complaints about this ep: Vanth’s backstory ran a bit long, and not enough baby & dad interaction. the concept art’s got me tho:
(din often wears his original/old armour in concept art still, incidentally, don’t know what that’s about)
awwwwwww
+ omfg ;______;
- this sand people person conscientiously brushing a bantha’s teeth... blessed
- Customary flame thrower report: there was a rare useful deployment of the flamethrower. Good job Mando’s flame thrower for furthering the field of diplomacy
ETA: I CAN’T BELIEVE I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS: DIN BEING COMFORTABLE(ISH) AROUND DROIDS NOW!!!! GROWTH????!?! IG-11 WE MISS YOU??????????
#the mandalorian#the mandalorian spoilers#star wars#the mandalorian meta#meta#(I'm trying to label my meta more specifically these days b/c the general meta tag is a MESS on my blog lol)#mmmmmmmm feels good to break out the overanalysis goggles again it's time to OVERTHINK SOME SHIT my friends

Cold Eyes (Dark Rey x Reader) [Part 15]
Summary: As Rey finds the Resistance base you're finally able to reach through the Force to help them and a new plan rises. What can go wrong?
Words: 4,335
A/N: I've been waiting a long time for this chapter, it has just a lot of things and hope you like it as much as I do. One last chapter to go after this!
Rey found them. She had found the Resistance hiding in a distant planet. And now she was going to destroy them.
You could still hearing her words in your head after Brandon’s interrogation, or rather after killing him .“It’s time I put an end to the rebellion.” she said.
“Rey, wait” you rushed to said “No, there must be another way, Brandon said they’re weak, honestly I don’t think they last much on their own, you don’t need to do this.”
“Yes, I do” she said. “Before they get stronger, I want them gone now” she added.
“They were your friends, Rey” you told her, you had to find a way to stop her from committing something you knew she would regret. “You control hundreds of systems now, let them go.”
“I can’t do that. As long as the Resistance exist there will be hope and hope is a very dangerous thing, you should know that, Y/N” she said. You stopped for a moment thinking, then you followed her again.
“Then I’m coming with you” you told her trying to keep the fast speed she was walking through the Fortress on her way to the big ship destroyer of your own home world.
“No” she said without even looking back at you “You’re staying here”
“I can’t just stay sitting here” you said as your thoughts started to mix in the back of your head. “I-I need to be there. Whatever happens”
Rey stopped and turned to finally met your eyes.
“You’re staying” she commanded in a very serious tone “It’s an order.”
“Take me with you I need to see it for myself” you begged
“No, Y/N stop asking me to do that, I can’t” she said, her hand traveling to rest softly over your cheek “I don’t want you to get hurt, if I take you there… I’m sure you will get hurt somehow.” she murmured with pure devotion on her hazel eyes “It’s a risk I’m not willing to take, so please stay here.”
“Rey…” you said but she cut you off.
“Please.” she murmured “I would never forget myself if anything happens to you. I love you, Y/N” she confessed. The effect those three little words had on you was bigger than you ever expected, the warm sensation washing over your body grew bigger with a look at her sincere features and the gentle touch of her hand on the side of your face.
Couldn’t help to smile at her as your heart kept racing faster and faster. You closed the short distance between your lips to pull her into a delicate kiss and when she wrapped her arms around you you felt your body melting under her touch. If only things were different, if she wasn’t about to kill your friends you would have told her just how much you loved her as well.
“Be careful, Rey” you murmured inches away from her lips as you pulled away.
“I will” she said taking one last gaze at you trying to memorize your features, your hair, your scent, your everything just in case. Then she finally let go off you and joined Hux in the ship
Then she was gone.
And as soon as the ship ghosted in the sky the thoughts in the back of your head started to get louder and it got worse when you got back inside the Fortress. It wouldn't take much for Rey to arrive where ever the Resistance was hiding, they were running out of time and it was imperative for you to help them.
Running through the endless halls you found yourself in the training room, sitting on the floor as Leia had once taught you.
"Put your mind at ease" you remembered the General saying "Find peace and you'll find the Force"
But how could you find peace when your mind was in conflict? When the destiny of the Resistance lied on your shoulders. When Rey's confession of love was still making your heart beat faster and at the same time images of the terrible things she had done kept playing on your mind, hunting you.
"Concentrate!" You murmured alone in the room and for your surprise a thousand voices seemed to scream your name, calling you. And with them there was Brandon repeating over and over again the same words.
You're a monster. Just like her.
Memories from his face choking under your power, his words and then his death. You felt again that seductive pull of the wrong side of the Force but instead of making you feel as powerful as it had before this time you felt guilty, every inch of your body regretting the actions you did, blinded by the anger.
You tried to keep this feelings from washing over you, tried to keep the new lump from growing in your throat. You took a deep breath, you needed to focus now or you were going to break down in a matter of second.
"I'm one with the Force, the Force is with me" you murmured trying to put your mind at ease. "I'm one with the Force, the Force is with me" you repeated just like General Organa taught you. You didn't know if it was working but it certainly kept the negative and toxic thoughts away from you.
"I'm one with-"
"Y/N?" You heard a very familiar voice.
"Finn" you smiled keeping your eyes closed "She's coming, you have to get them out of there now" you said.
"Wait what you mean?" He said.
"Finn, listen. Rey knows where you are, she's coming right now with a ship with enough power to destroy a planet" you said founding your voice surprisingly calm "Please, you have to run. She's already on her way"
There was a small silence and then your heard his voice again.
"Fine, I'll tell General Organa" he said "If you're right we don't have much time."
"Protect them, Finn. Hide somewhere and survive" you told him.
"I'll make sure of that, Y/N" you heard him say. "But what about you?"
"I'll be fine, don't worry about me" you assured him.
"No, you belong with us" he told you "We can't just leave you there" he went silent for a moment but through the Force your sense him thinking. "I have a plan." He said.
*****
Rey had sensed something was off even before leaving Mustafar, but decided to ignore the feeling taking it for insecurity, she knew some people in the Resistance, they used to be her friends after all so she pushed those ideas aside, convincing herself they all had only used to find Skywalker.
But now that the big ship was in position to shoot at the small, insignificant moon she sensed that feeling again, something was wrong but she didn’t know exactly what.
“Don’t fire.” she commanded.
“Supreme Leader, we are in position already.” Hux said confused looking at his boss “Besides, we don’t have of any patrol X-wing, they don’t know we are here. It is our chance to take them down.”
“No patrols, doesn’t it seem strange to you, General?” Rey asked still looking down at the small moon through the big window in the control room. “Land immediately” she ordered.
“Yes, Supreme Leader” Hux murmured as she start yelling orders to the people in the room while Rey walked towards the exit, preparing herself to see what was awaiting for her in this place.
The big ship landed gracefully and again there was not Resistance’s ship to be seen, no blasters trying to stop the stormtroopers from invading the base, it was like a ghost town.
Quiet. It was very quiet.
Hux ordered a few reconnaisse teams to scan the area while he and Supreme Leader Rey stayed close to the ship waiting for information, an attack, something that tell them why the Resistance wasn’t here.
“It’s empty, Sir” Informed a commander trooper “All of it. It seems they left on a rush taking only the ships with them. We’re searching what’s left behind, Supreme Leader.”
Rey was no happy about the news, she was frustrated staring around trying to found out why they left. When she scanned Brandon’s mind she saw this place filled with people walking from side to side, repairing X-wings, nothing unusual, this scape wasn’t planned, was it?
“We did found this” the trooper said handing a datapad to Rey who took it without saying a word but gesturing with her hand for the soldier to go.
Looking at the small device she analyzed some of the files it contained, blueprints for some ships nothing she hadn’t seen before, there were also a few enters report-like, it was an usual thing in the Resistance to write papers about missions, Rey never found it useful until now observing the last enter of the datapad:
We’re in danger, we must go now. General Organa started the evacuation plan, we’re moving to Location A, she hopes the First Order doesn’t find us there. There’s a last mission but I don’t have the full information, I just know something it’s gonna happen in Mustafar.
“What is it, Supreme Leader?” Hux asked observing the concerned way Rey was looking at the small device.
"I need to get back to Mustafar now" she murmured. "We're going now!" She yelled rushing back inside the ship.
There was something the Resistance had planned in the lava planet and the only thing she had on her mind in that moment was you. She was worried about you, regretting letting you behind and now, as she saw it, you were in an incredible danger.
Rey couldn't lose you, not again.
*****
Walking from side to side of the small corridor you tried to ease your nerves, they would be there any moment now, your friends Poe and Finn, they were going to rescue you from this dark place.
It was Finn's plan. While most of the First Order's fleet was away chasing the Resistance's empty base was the perfect moment to take you out, especially since Rey wasn't there. It was a risky plan and you weren't completely sure all this operation was worthy just to take you back to the rebellion but Finn insisted.
You were nervous the plan wouldn't work, nervous to see your friends after all this time, afraid of the questions you knew they were going to ask and feeling the strange sensation you were betraying Rey, you didn't wanted to leave her, not at all.
Then you finally saw the Millenium Falcon approaching the Fortress and you stepped into the control room, as planned.
“What’s happening?” you said in a cold, confident tone.
"Sir, good you're here." the man in the control panel said recognizing you, everybody in the base knew and obeyed the Supreme Leader’s apprentice. "We have a rebel ship asking for permission to land."
"Permission granted.” you said hoping you had enough authority over him.
"I-I can't do that” he said “My orders are not to let any ship in until the fleet is back and report immediately to General Hux in case something happen.” He said.
“I give the orders now.” you said getting close to him “Tell the ship to land” you commanded and the man’s eyes filled with fear but still he managed to speak again.
“I don’t take orders from you, I’m going to report immediately” he said.
Well, apparently you didn’t have enough power over them.
"You're gonna let them land." you said weaving your hand in front of him.
"I'm going to let them land." he said and then he pressed a button to speak with the pilot of the ship "Control here, you have permission to land on the main platform."
"You're not going to report this." you said using the mind tricks again and you heard him repeating your words. First part of the plan, completed.
You rushed down the hall to meet the legendary ship feeling nostalgic to see it after all this time, seemed like it was a very long time ago since Rey appeared asking you to help her fix it, seemed like all those days fixing together the Falcon passed in another and very different life. You knew the smile of the pilot the moment he looked in your direction, you heard the known voice of the man already stepping out of the ship when he fastly walked towards you.
"Y/N" Finn said pulling you into a tight hug. "It's good to see you" he murmured.
"I can say the same." you told him "It's been a while"
"How do you stand the heat here?" Poe said joining you on the platform.
"It's better inside," you chuckled letting go off Finn "way colder, actually."
"So, how long have you been here?” Poe asked “And why aren’t you in a cell? I mean, when Finn said we were going to rescue you, I thought on something different from this.”
You felt his gaze scanning your body from head to toe, your good condition, not a scratch on your body that was covered with the black clothes, his eyes focused on the First Order’s insignia adorning your left arm.
“I see we have a lot to catch up, huh?” he said with a reassuring grin, you felt the weight on your shoulders a little less heavier. “So, what’s next in your plan, Finn?” he asked looking at his partner.
“Y/N, you said there was something important in the base.” Finn said.
“Yes, more bad news. They have bombs in every planet they control.” you explained your friends “They’re gonna use it if the fleet gets damaged or if the people in the planets rebel against them”
You saw the terror invading their faces.
“All of them?” Poe said, frustration on his voice, even fear. “But they have hundreds of systems already.”
“You know how to stop it?” Finn asked you with hope in his eyes.
“The controls are here, I’ve seen them before but I don’t know how to deactivate them.” you told them remembering the small console Hux showed in the meeting and the controller that was a device just a bit bigger than a datapad. “But maybe we don’t need to, without the controller they can’t activate it.”
“Fine, we’ll take it to the Resistance, Admiral Statura will know how to shut it down.” Poe added agreeing with your plan nodding softly.
All of you smiled. It felt like before, like when you used to go on missions together and feeling you were really going to help the Resistance instead of just hide. But your smile faded away as a big known ship appeared in the sky and more after it, suddenly emerging in the sky as they disengaged hyperspace.
“This is bad” Finn said.
“She wasn’t supposed to come back yet” you told them looking at the big ship as it started its slow way to land in the hostile planet. From the cruiser you saw a smaller ship approaching, you recognized the Supreme Leader’s fighter.
“Now what?” Poe said, aware of the ship coming.
“She has her own landing platform in the other side of the Fortress, hopefully she won’t notice the Falcon” you told them “Keep the engines running, if I’m not here in ten minutes go without me” you said walking inside the cold Fortress.
“Wait, where are you going?” Finn stopped you grabbing your wrist.
“I need to get the controller” you said “I can’t let the same thing that happen to my planet repeat” you added.
“Then we’re coming with you” he said.
“No. If she sees you all of this would be for nothing” you told him.
“Same if you don’t come back with the controller” Poe said.
“Stay here, trust me in this one, guys” you begged and after a moment Finn let you go.
With a last half smile you got inside the place you knew like the palm of your hand after spending all that time inside it. Rushing through the known dark, glossy halls you hoped this plan to work because if not, well, the whole galaxy was in danger.
You found yourself smiling as your reached the last bridge before the meeting room, it was one of the many bridges of the Fortress that allowed to see the lava that flowed through all the planet surface and it was always somehow terrifying to see the bright colors of the burning lava beneath you. But you reached the end of the bridge safely, only to almost stumble with a familiar body.
"Rey." you gasped when you realized who was before you "You're back" you sighed pulling yourself together. "How? Are they…?" You asked as if you were affected by what happened to the Resistance.
"They weren't there" was the only thing she said before wrapping her arms around your body and pulling you close to her, maybe a little to close. You could feel the fear in her but limited to hug her back unsure of what was going on. "I'm so glad you're fine"
"What's happening, Rey?" You murmured lost in her embrace. She let go off you just enough to meet your gaze.
"The base was empty," she told you "but I found a note, it said they were coming here and I just…" she struggled with her words for a moment "I thought I was going to lose you, I was afraid of losing you."
You cupped the side of her face, delicately caressing her skin as the warm sensation filled you once again, she placed her hand on top of yours and gave you a love filled gaze that melted your heart.
Her words, by the contrary were bittersweet you. A mix of pure love that made your heart beat faster, her soft eyes begging you to stay and at the same time they hurt, why did she chose this exact time to tell you this? Why now that you were going to betray her? You wanted to stay with her, no, you wanted her to come with you, to follow you, but you were not sure she would do it.
Fast footsteps echoed through the halls that disconcerted Rey who followed the sound looking over your shoulder. Hey eyes turned a darker tone of brown, frowning when her eyes caught the unexpected intruders. Turning your head a little you found Finn and Poe frozen on the other side of the bridge, surprised with the scene before them.
“What are they doing here?” Rey hissed in a way too dangerous tone without taking her gaze away from them.
She stepped away focusing her eyes now on you. You wanted to say something, trying to explain but she had already figured everything out.
“It was you” she murmured unable to believe it “All of this was your plan, you just needed to get me out of the planet” she said with anger on her voice as her hand traveled to the heavy saber hanging on the belt around her hips.
“Rey, wait” you said trying to approach her but she kept slowly stepping back “that’s not what happened”
“After all we’ve been through” she said, her tone starting to get rather louder, almost like a scream “after all I’ve done for you, you still choosing them over me!”
Rey took the double bladed lightsaber and held it secure on her hand now, weighting it, ready to ignite it.
“I should have never trusted you” She murmured “You’re gonna leave me, just like everyone else.” she hissed and you noticed the lonely tear rolling down her face, only one tear filled with wrath, sorrow, pain.
Betrayal.
You saw her closing her eyes for a brief moment while the tear continued its way down her face, it seemed to have the last of the good inside her and when it dropped away from her features she opened them again and she ignited her sabers lighting her face with the red light of the dark side that let you meet a new pair of yellow eyes that stared at you with pure hate on them.
Your blood froze in the instant. You had only seen this side of her once and terrible things happened when she was like this, consumed by the dark.
A sensation, almost like a whisper made you back away just in time to dodge her first attack, the light sword whizzed too close to your face as you fastly moved backwards trying to save yourself from the deadly weapon Rey swing from side to side.
Without a weapon, you had no change to survive this.
“Y/N!” Finn yelled throwing a small piece of metal he took out of his belt, just before the heavy door behind Rey opened and stormtroopers filled the place, blasting immediately towards your friends.
The small metal piece landed on your hand gracefully and in the right moment to defend yourself from a new thrust from the red sabers that crashed against your blue lightsaber.
Rey stopped attacking for a moment looking you up and down, you were not a challenge to her, she knew it and you knew it too but still she grinned.
“This should be fun” she said smirking already circling her weapon around her with a skilled grace while you held your own saber in hand getting ready for the battle.
The lightsabers crashed with a loud sound, it had started. Rey and you moved almost in rhythm, attacking or dodging the sabers moved from side to side. Rey’s thrusts becoming harder and merciless forcing you to move back and without even noticing you were in the middle of the bridge, fighting for your life with the woman you loved the most but the only thing she seemed to want was to kill you.
“I’m disappointed, Y/N” she said when your sabers meet again, she was putting way too much strength pushing your own weapon extremely close to your neck and all you could do was try to hold it so it wouldn’t hurt you. “I saw true power in you but still afraid to use it.”
The blasters kept flying across the bridge and from the corner of your eyes you caught your friends firing their blasters at the troopers, they needed help but so you did. Then you met Rey’s eyes once again and felt a extreme cold that froze you to your very soul.
“You hurt me, YN” she growled “and now you’re gonna die for that” With that last words she swung her saber away from yours and the very next moment you felt a burning pain just below your ribs.
Everything seemed to stop, you didn't hear the blasters from the troopers, neither the voices of your friends calling your name, they seemed to fade away. The only thing you clearly saw and heard was Rey holding her weapon steady and as your eyes traveled down you found one of the red blades crossing your body.
She stabbed you, Rey stabbed you and was looking at you like she didn’t know who you were. The feeling seemed so familiar, you knew this would happen someday, all those nightmares were warnings that you decided to ignore, premonitions that now were real. Your worst fear, your ultimate terror came true.
The time returned to its normal course and you heard then the worried scream from your friends that were watching terrified from the other side of the bridge.
Rey was still holding her lightsaber in place took a good look at you, her feral expression suddenly seemed to change, she looked rather terrified and then her eyes changed back to normal when she realized what she had done to you, immediately turning off her saber.
She took a few steps back speechless but in agony. You took the change to extend your hand to send her flying back across the place, she hit the floor harder than you expected, falling unconscious.
Finn and Poe finally defeated all the soldiers in white armor and rushed to your side, worried about your safety.
"We have to go now" Finn said and with the pilot's help he started to drag you out of the place, you let go a small groan.
Your wound hurt more than any of your nightmares but not as much the fact that she actually did it, after all the times she told you she would never hurt you, after the promise she made you, now broken.
"No, wait!" You were barely able to say "w-we need the controller"
"We have to take you to a medic now" Poe said.
"Then we did this for nothing!" you murmured feeling the pain spreading through your body.
"Fine, I'll go find it" Finn told you "tell me what I'm looking for?"
"Looks like a datapad" you whispered
feeling your body dying with every word and every breath. "You'll know. Go." With a last tiny nod he was gone.
Dameron passed your arm around his shoulders as he held your waist to help you walk as much as possible.
"Almost there" he told you when he saw the Falcon, you felt yourself dizzy, felt your legs weak. "Come on, stay with me" he growled almost dragging you the last few feets to the ship.
Poe let you in the one of the soft beds of the ship.
"Y/N?" he asked concerned.
"Still here" you murmured "where's Finn?"
Just in that moment he stormed inside the ship.
"I got it!" Finn said "Poe, get us out of here now!" Kneeling beside you he patched you up with a bacta patch. "This will do for now, stay with us. We're going home, Y/N"

I woke up mad and have been mad all day so let’s discuss the disrespectful absurdity that was Bellamy’s death on the 100 some more.
JRoth’s tweet really pissed me off a lot. Ultimately, he’s not wrong when he says the 100 has always been a dark show about hard choices and what people would do to survive. It’s just that I don’t think any of that played into Bellamy’s death at all. I’ve been thinking about all of the other major character deaths across the seasons and how, even the ones I hated and have massive issues with, still somehow seem more respectful to the characters than what he did to Bellamy. Keep reading for the rant:
Season 1 - Wells (and to an extent Charlotte)
Wells - Wells is a bit of a tricky one since it happened so fast and I know there are people still upset about it. But it set the tone for the show, the tone that JRoth is so proud of and referencing for Bellamy’s death. But I think you can get away with a shock value death in season one to kick things off. They also set up the situation fairly well, playing up just how harsh things are on the ark, that most of their parents had been floated. I can understand how Charlotte, who is just a child, reached that conclusion, especially with Bellamy’s maybe misguided advice (although that’s clearly not what he meant). I also don’t know that there was really a place for another presumably male lead in season one alongside Bellamy and Finn. So I get it. But also, Wells still had a chance to repair things with Clarke before he was killed. She discovered the truth and knew that he lied to protect her. He didn’t die with her hating him. It was a truncated arc, but it was something.
Charlotte - And arguably, Charlotte’s death kind of needed to happen. There wasn’t really any way for her to continue on with them after what she’d done and at least it was her choice, however tragic it all was.
Season 2 - Finn and Maya
Finn - As with Wells, Finn’s death is something I think you can get away with and can be viewed as edgy in an early season. It’s upping the stakes and reminding you that this is a show that will put these characters in impossible situations. And they still had a male lead left in Bellamy, plus Murphy and Jasper and even a character like Miller were rising in the ranks and there to fill in the gaps. Plus a whole host of new characters. Killing Finn was a gutsy move but one I could respect. They took him down a dark path and instead of absolving him for it because he was a main character, they made him pay for it. But unlike Bellamy, Finn realized what he did was wrong. He couldn’t live with the guilt. He couldn’t live with the way Clarke was looking at him. He knew the truce with the Grounders was important and he knew he was the key. He made the choice to give himself up. He had agency. He got to have one last escape attempt with his friends, say his goodbyes to everyone. And even still, they let him die with some amount of dignity rather than being tortured to death. And Clarke killing him worked in a way her killing Bellamy doesn’t. What he did was directly tied to her. Only she could forgive him in those final moments. There were multiple episodes of build up to this death, it was the story of the whole episode it happened in. It was expected but also a bold move for the show.
Maya - This was a death about hard choices and survival. The audience had grown to like Maya throughout the season, seeing her stand up for what was right and going against her own people. She didn’t deserve the end she got. But Clarke and Bellamy and Monty were put in an impossible situation and it was either the lives of all their friends and family or death in a very inhumane way because the mountain never would have stopped. And the way it was set up, with us and them watching Raven and Abby being drilled into, the choice was painful but clear. And it had been building to this moment for an entire season.
Season 3 - Lexa and Lincoln
Lexa - Lexa had arguably one of the most controversial deaths on the show. And I know there were behind the scenes reasons for it with the actress having another show to film. I don’t know how much availability she would have had. I don’t know how necessary it was to remove her from the narrative. I don’t want to get into it I will just assume for these purposes, that she had to be killed off. And I’ve always said with respect to Lexa, that I didn’t mind that they killed her off, it was how they did it. But compared to Bellamy’s death, even her controversial one feels less disrespectful to the character. It may be worse due to lesbian death tropes and that’s a larger issue, but in terms of the show story, I don’t think it was as bad. First of all, she was only a character for a season and a half. Second, her death directly affected the plot that had been hinted at all season and carried out in a major way through the rest of it. Now I hate that she died immediately after having sex by a stray bullet from a guy who should not have been holding a gun in the first place. I hate it. I would have much rather she went down fighting or stepping in front of a bullet for Clarke or something. But at least she got to finally resolve things with Clarke. They reconciled. They said they loved each other. She knew was was going to die at the end and she got to have her final moments with Clarke. Clarke got to do the whole may we meet again speech. Despite the issues, it was a beautiful moment.
Lincoln - This death has always been the one that pissed me off the most. Again I know there were behind the scenes issues and he also had another show. Again I don’t know how much filming availability he would have or how necessary his death was. Again, let’s assume it was because people can’t just go off somewhere else for a new start on this show. But I still always hated how he went out, being executed in the mud. He should have gone down fighting at the very least. However, even more at the very least, because that’s what we’re getting into here, Lincoln did die because he was defending his people. That’s the bare minimum here but at least he had that. He was true to himself. I hated that he didn’t really get a final moment with Octavia, but hey, at least she was present. Extremely low bar but still, better than Bellamy’s death from a writing perspective.
Season 4 - Jasper (Roan, Illian, Luna)
Jasper - Jasper’s is a sad tale. He spent two seasons basically completely depressed after the events of season two. There really wasn’t anywhere else to take his character at that point, so I understood and was ready for him to go. It made sense as an end for his character and he got to go out on his own terms and not take the spot in the bunker of someone who truly wanted to live. He got to have his final moments with Monty. It was a good end for him.
Roan, Illian and Luna - I wouldn’t call them major characters per say, perhaps Roan and Luna but we got to know all of them fairly well. They were expendable characters for the most part but they at least got to die fighting for their people and that’s a respectable way to go out.
Season 5 - Jaha, Monty and Harper
Jaha - Jaha was a character who did go down a sort of cult path. It probably would have been easy to kill him off in season 3 as a result of that. And if it had been a high stakes, last resort, have to kill Jaha to get to ALIE to save everyone, I could have respected that. But they didn’t. They let him survive that. They let him see the error of his ways. He spent season four determined to save his people from what he helped to unleash. He didn’t do it in the right way but even then, finally, in season 5, he was redeemed a bit, helping to maintain the peace in the bunker and helping Octavia gain control. And he had Octavia and Marcus and Abby there at his end. It was fitting. He got to say his goodbyes.
Monty and Harper - I was very sad to say goodbye to them but they went out on their own terms. They got probably the happiest ending out of anyone on this show. They got to live their lives how they chose and be together and having a son. And they did all of that while finding a way to give their friends, their family, their people a fresh start. And they got to say goodbye, albeit through video, but it was touching and lovely.
Season 6 - Shaw, Kane and Abby
Shaw - Shaw was another one that was killed off because he had another show, which is fine. It sucked for Raven and it was sad the character only got one season. Although considering the seasons that followed, I think he should count himself lucky really. But again, he died helping out his friends and Raven. It was a sacrifice and he knew what he was doing.
Kane - Again, another person who had other commitments. And they did some weird body swap stuff to extend his time a little longer. But I loved that they had actual Kane there at the end anyway to say goodbye to Abby even if it wasn’t really him that she was seeing. It was a nice touch, and a better way to say goodbye to the character. He also chose to let go. It was on his terms and he got his goodbye with Abby. And there were good parallels to floating both men she loved.
Abby - I’m not fond of the way they killed off Abby since she was basically dead once they took over her body. So that was unfortunate. But at least prior to the body swapping, she did have that last scene with Clarke where they kind of reconciled. And if I recall, she had some last moments with Jackson and Raven too. And those matter.
Season 7 - Diyoza and Bellamy
Diyoza - By season seven, I’m honestly kind of over major character deaths. I don’t really want them. I just want to see these characters that I love survive all of the trauma of the show and find peace, but I understand that I’m never going to get that. It’s fine. I was sad to see Diyoza go, but her sacrificing herself for her daughter, for the people who became her family, kind of “for all mankind” to use a phrase I hate now, was a fitting way for her to go out since she was introduced to us as a terrorist. And she got to say her goodbyes. This is clearly an important theme for me.
Bellamy - And then we circle back to my rage. Bellamy kind of took the path of Finn in a way, or perhaps his season 3 arc, which he didn’t really pay for so much. Not the way Finn did anyway because all of a sudden Blood must not have Blood. Plus, Pike was the rightful scapegoat for all of that. But this season saw Bellamy get caught up in yet another man’s bullshit idea of what was right. That was frustrating enough, but I guess it was somewhat in character. It’s just all the more frustrating because the Second Dawn/Shepherd nonsense is just that, nonsense. His sudden anti grounder status in season 3 were motivations that made at least some sense. He’d been fighting them since day one basically. They betrayed them at Mount Weather, which meant they had to kill everyone there, which meant he lost Clarke. And then Echo’s betrayal killed his three episode girlfriend, Gina. Plus Pike was a man he’d respected on the arc. The motivations always felt fairly thin to me since Gina was so minor, but overall, they make sense.
This season has been all over the place. The storylines have been mostly nonsensical. The nature of the different timelines meant that there were many episodes where we had to backtrack to fill in gaps, which meant the story was basically at a standstill for the whole middle of the season. We have zero sympathy for Bill and his cult followers. They’re not interesting. The Mount Weather people were brutal and doing terrible things, but I understood their need to survive. These Second Dawn people don’t have that same motivation. They’re fine. And so much of it is driven by the flame, which Bill wants for selfish reasons along with the stupid key code. He wants to know if there’s any of his daughter in there, which goes against all his teachings and what he’s trying to suck Bellamy into. And all of that is really just to set up a spinoff no one is going to want to watch at this point anyway after all of this. It’s kind of insulting.
And we see all of this Bellamy development in one episode late in the season and then he just betrays all his friends and family. He only shows the slightest hint of questioning. He just flat out tells Echo she doesn’t matter more than the cult. He doesn’t even have a scene with just his sister. He gets one good scene with Clarke but then is like “eh torture her it’s fine”. And then we get to this episode, where he barely interacts with his friends that he’s with. They spend most of the episode rolling their eyes at him and mocking his clothing choices. They set up the stupid sketchbook in a rushed little scene with Madi and Clarke just so in the last thirty seconds Sheidheda, who my god should be dead now (Indra I’m looking at you), can say “hey check out that book”. And Bellamy picks up this book that we’ve seen like once or twice earlier in the season that was fairly inconsequential then. We don’t even fully understand what’s in it that’s so crucial that Bellamy can’t show Bill. And that’s what Clark shoots him for? Really? And shoots to kill? Which was highly unnecessary to get her hands on that book. And then she didn’t even take the stupid book in the first place.
So Bellamy Blake, main male lead of the series, hero and leader to his people, gets murdered by his closest most trusted friend, his person, without getting to realize that the cult stuff was bullshit, without getting any chance to redeem himself, for a book that really doesn’t even seem to matter. And he dies alone. None of his family or friends are around. No one is reciting the may we meet again speech. He never got a final scene to reconcile with his sister. He never had any real final moments with anyone else. He just disappeared in the first five minutes of the premier, showed up eleven episodes later, a brainwashed cult follower and that’s how he died. That’s frankly bullshit. And a massive disservice to his character, to Clarke’s character, to the show. And the fact that they barely had Clarke try and shake him out of his brainwashing. The fact that his friends just mocked him instead of trying to help him. It’s just not what this show was built on. It’s not. It’s one absurdity after another. It’s insulting.
And the fact that every other character I’ve listed here at least got something, some kind of minor positive to their passing but Bellamy got none of those things?! Not fighting for a cause or a people the audience is rooting for or siding with. And no final goodbyes with the people he loves. Even Clarke only did her crying once she went through the stupid portal. I’m just mad. I should feel devastated by his death, but at least feel like he died for something. He died for nothing and that’s the saddest part of it all.

Finn trudged along with Hiyoko on his back for awhile, not minding in the slightest. The small dancer hardly weighed anything on his shoulders, and this was sort of a comfort for him. It reminded him of home, of when his baby sisters would ask to be carried around the shore on his shoulders. “See anythin’ yet, Hiyoko?” He asked curiously, now that they had made their way to the other side of the island.
For a moment she remained silent, squinting as she continued looking. In all honesty, at first she didn't care to remember a thing about this dude. Now that he was a potential threat, she felt she could point him out in a crowd anywhere. Suddenly, she perked up. "There!" She shouted, pointing at Ryan. "Get 'em! Don't even let him have the chance to fight back!"
Ryan, meanwhile, had been sitting out on the shore alone, writing in a notebook. He wasn’t expecting anyone to be out here, let alone anyone looking for him specifically. As such, he wasn’t paying attention, and didn’t notice Hiyoko or Finn.
Hiyoko quickly made her way off Finn's shoulder, quickly marching to Ryan with a snarl. She seemed a lot like a wild animal about to pounce on its prey as she approached him, except her prey was almost literally twice her size. "Hey shitbrain! Don't try to act all cool and mysterious out here by yourself." She huffed, crossing her arms. "I know what you did. You're not getting off the hook that easily!"
“Uh...” Finn tried to reach out to Hiyoko and stop her from being brash, but to no avail. He walked up to join the pair, smiling sheepishly. “‘Yoko, that’s not how ya start off a conversation, y’know? ‘Ere lemme try.” He suggested, looking back to Ryan. “Sorry ‘bout ‘er. She’s just a lil’ bent outta shape, since she watched yer secret video.” He admitted freely, try to drop that bombshell before Hiyoko had the chance to do it less gracefully.
Ryan simply sighed, flipping the notebook closed and placing it down on the ground. “...did she now? Talk about bad luck.” Twirling the pencil around his fingers, he looked up at Finn, ignoring Hiyoko for the time being. “I get the feeling I know what the bear has on me. It’s probably about my last assignment. The one I screwed up.”
Pouting, Hiyoko stomped her foot at being ignored. "You killed your boss and partner for no reason!" She said, leaving out quite a big detail. Either she was purposely leaving it out, or just didn't seem to care about that detail. "So to save the sane people from you, we're gonna tie you up and leave you in a ditch somewhere until we find a way to leave!" She said with certainty, a devious smile making its way to her face.
Finn sighed at the smaller girl’s interjection, head turning to the side. He didn’t want to do this, certainly not. But, of course, the needs of the many outweighed the needs of the few. Even so... he couldn’t do this without asking one question. “... Why? Why did ya do it? There’s gotta be a reason behind it, right? Ya can’t just... be a murderer..?” He asked, voice softer than usual.
“I had to. They told me to do it.” Ryan turned his gaze towards the ocean. “...our exfil was ambushed. We were tasked with getting crucial intel on a mercenary group that took out a supply ship, to find out what their next target was. Everything went smoothly. The mercenaries were planning on going after an oil tanker, to use it as a Trojan horse. Wanted to blow up a major port in the U.S. We managed to get the information to HQ, but the ambush had us pinned out in the field. Nearly fought our way out, but one of the mercenaries managed to incapacitate both my superior and my partner. I managed to kill him, but I could hear more on the way. Both didn’t want to be captured, and there was no time to patch them both up in time. So...they told me to shoot them, before the others got there. So I did. Then...I just ran. Managed to get away without a scratch, somehow.”
“... Oooh... that uh... shit-“ Finn huffed out his breath. He suddenly felt guilty for even agreeing to Hiyoko’s plot without having all of the details. “‘M sorry man... that sounds awful. Hiyoko didn’t know that part ‘m sure of it..” He reassured Ryan, looking to the dancer for her confirmation on his theory. He instantly believed the best in others, and Hiyoko wasn’t an exception.
She pouted once more, her first instinct to not believe his little sob story. It just seemed too convenient to her that he got out without a scratch. He could've saved at least one of them. "Yeah right! If you were able to get away so easy you could've taken one of them at least! I bet you're a dirty little liar too! You shot them to hide details about your fuck up and got out of there, didn't you? You're scum of the Earth! You don't even deserve to be the gunk on the bottom of my shoe!"
“More men were already on the way. I could hear their footsteps. If I tried to help them, then we would all have either been dead or captured. They were willing to sacrifice themselves just so I could get away. They’re better men than I am, I know that.” Ryan’s gaze fell to the ground, the halo floating above his head starting to lose structure. “I just...I wish there was more time. I could’ve saved them. I just needed more time.” A sigh. “And...honestly? I probably should’ve died there. I don’t know how I escaped. I was constantly getting shot at. Bullets kept flying past me. How none of them hit...well, I think it was a miracle.”
Finn couldn’t really bring himself to keep questioning Ryan after that revelation. He couldn’t imagine being stuck in a spot like that. Even after being stuck in the cult, betraying his friend, and knowing someone here knew another secret of his, he couldn’t kick someone while they were down. “... C’mon, Yoko. He’s torn up ‘bout it. I don’t think he’ll be a threat at all.” He reasoned with the dancer.
With a small huff, Hiyoko glared up at Finn and then back towards Ryan. Clearly she had lost. Finn wouldn't help her restrain this guy as long as he pitied him. Yet she wouldn't fall for his sob story. She'd have to keep a close eye on him. "I'll be watching you. Don't think you got away that easily." She threatened before turning around and quickly walking away.

the 100 diaries S2 E12
quarantine: may 31 2020
season 2 episode 12: “Rubicon”
the guy is running. watch he just die and no one gets clarkes message. i would love it if clarkes plane just backfired but of course they save him.
ok but wait why was cage just random carrying a oxygen tank when he himself doesnt even need one.
tsing out here with her own personal army. then just plucking these kids one by one. damn
these grounders really be listening to clarke just because lexa said so?? damn these grounders be loyal minus gustus and that one guy that tried to kill clarke but then got eaten by king kong
is raven really the only person out here doing all this crap?? like does clarke not realize how big of an ask shes asking of raven? raven is magic and shit but she has some limitations just to be somewhat realistic. just chill the fuck out clarke raven is doing the best out here arguably more than clarke.
i love how bellamy is still wearing that hat still looking like sean malto. but also how has someone not noticed him? but i guess bellamy like joe from you as in if he wears a hat he magically blends in.
“...all of this is for nothing” way to put pressure on prettyboy bellamy like he didnt already know that. chill clarke everyone is trying their best out here. ngl i would hate to have clarke as a manager cuz i think she would micromanage the shit out of people.
remember in the last episode when clarke asked what her job was well i think that i figured it out:
i also wanna mention that finn literally died idk less than a week ago but clarkes in charge being out and about commanding people years her senior. i get that we had that whole episode dedicated to how finns death affects clarke but still she got over that pretty quick. a little too quick. but i guess that if youre a sky person your emotional metabolism is just through the fucking roof...
ooo clarke still be salty toward her mom. but yeah kane is kinda an enabler
but why do these people have clear paper. the art department is feeling themselves on that one. like is it because they wanted to be edgy and futuristic or is it from an actual realistic viewpoint that the space people dont have trees to create paper................does this also mean that the space people didnt have toilet paper???????? but also back to the paper thing did these kids never learn how to write in cursive??? since i would imagine actual writing utensils are limited so idk if they waste it on teaching kids cursive. actually tho does anyone have an answer to these questions???
where did jaha get that antler stick. i kinda want one. i like to imagine that he just saw it lying somewhere on their way to the desert and said to himself i would look epic holding that stick and then went to pick up and started using it even tho he doesnt actually need a walking stick....any hunter x hunter fans?
jaha’s mask at 8:29 is an example of what not to wear during corona season
“thanks for the water?”...while looking down a bit flustered ”its, uh..it was no problem” emori and murphy? ship?
bellamy crawling through air vents to save the day...magenta from sky high who??
also bellamy’s ear piece is giving me everything. *i know that the following meme is just a tiny phone but i just really like it so idgaf
again with the inaccuracy of bone marrow extraction.
but what really gets me is clarke recognizing what procedure is going o just by the sound of a drill. ok who is she? she be like the boy that can identify a vacuum just by the sound. For those that don’t know what I’m talking about:
https://youtu.be/Ar5nLNku0CM
youtube
A missile?? where did these people get a missile
But also imagine if clarke was like actually i didn’t catch any of that conversation and bellamy just had to recap it like Luis in ant-man. I would die
thats a lot to ask of raven clarke. Like i could never get that shit done no matter how long you gave me. Yeah ppl be screwed if i was part of the 100
That hug btw Clarke and raven...ship? Jk i know it was just a friendship hug but yah can never know with these writers. Like i honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the writers said enemies (being part of that love triangle with finn) to friends to lovers
murphy and emori are definitly a ship. walking together behind with everyone else. Murphy said “i killed two people. I had my reasons but nobody cared.” Fuck you murphy you killed them cuz you a salty bitch. I also hate how he says this so blasé. Like dude want?? Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Murphy also said im the bad guy. Murphy is a billie elish fan?? Duh.
woah when that girl pulled out her claw????? I fell out of my seat. its actually huge. she could grab a whole basket all. They did a great job concealing/ not drawing attention to her hand before like i was so fucking surprised.
“Its pretty badass” and murphy looking at that claw tho...murphy is into kinky shit. But also that look he gave her while she walked away that was the most genuine look I’ve ever seen out of murphy.
Bellamy shoving jasper into a wall and whispering...bellamy and jasper? ship?
this secret talk between bellamy and Dante....bellamy and president Dante? ship?
But i also like to imagine that during this meeting that bellamy has the song dont be suspious. Dont be suspious playing in his head
woah. Mountain man said inconito mode activated. Reminds me of one of those green soldiers in toy story especially during the opening scene of i think the first movie
This character development in clarke is something else like remember when she talked about the grounders wanting finn out in the open and not in private causing a huge public uproar. Look at her now talking in private with Lexa about the missile. Phenomenal character growth if you ask me.
they really put all their eggs in one basket with bellamy. But bellamy be a really good basket tho. Trust Lexa trust.
where tf did this guy get an RPG??
Woah Emori be the real bad guy. But honestly she could slit Murphy’s throat and he would still live because cockroaches can still live without their head.
raven you should have just shut up. You really dropped the ball there.
lincoln???? What are the chances??? Isn’t he still a druggie?? Honestly octavias little speech would not motivate me at all. If anything it would make me want to take more drugs. At this point i would just say to Lincoln “dont fight it”
i like how they took everything but they let jaha keep his stick.
caspian is reall dressed like a hipster that sells artisanal kombucha
Jaha really has some faith in murphy...jaha and murphy? ship?
Also that was a really good shot of them murphy, jaha, and their crew climbing up the hill with a giant moon in the background
Lexa is giving me padme vibez wearing that head scarf like that
they were going to let kane and indra die
yeah sorry to break it to you abby but your child is a killer but then again so are you sooo..you really cant be out here to judge your kid like that. Like mother like daughter. But you really cant lecture clarke on this. you literally gave your husband up and you let your daughter blame her best friend for it. And on top of this you were part of the council that sent 100 kid down to earth without even knowing if earth was survivable. ma’m get the fuck outta here.
but all those lives for bellamy. i think its worth it. Because bellamy is worth everything.
theyre linking arms they got monty no!! absolutely not. they took jasper but i gotta say better he than monty bc Monty is king. Yeah jasper really fumbled with that gun. Really not smart. jasper should have just shot tsing instead
Oof a containment breach. wow what an epic door stop. Sooo loong tsing. That was such a cruel death tho but yeah she kinda deserved it.
Does Dante play the cello?? A real renaissance man isn’t he?
wow this makes octaiva and lincoln like an epic couple that conquered the world. power couple. Goals *gag* but ok does that mean that Lincoln just stopped cold turkey just like that?? Hes just automatically better? No this is not how drug addiction works. But ok sure Jan.

66. I won't let you get hurt. Would you please write something for the 100 for King Roan and Clarke
“What the hell are you doing?” Clarke hissed when Roan yanked her behind a tree, boxing her in with his arms, his much larger body caging hers and making her feel claustrophobic. He stood so close that their pelvises touched, and she could smell the musky scent of him. After the day they’d had, the rusty stink of blood mingled with earth, gunpower, and sweat wasn’t a surprise to her; though she was surprised that the scent didn’t offend her nose so much as it appealed to her.
“I won’t let you get hurt, Wanheda,” Roan muttered, his voice by her ear as an arrow whizzed by them in the fading afternoon light. “Run that way after he fires the next arrow. Go between those two pines and around the rock. Watch the ground-trap on the middle of the deer path under the moss, next to the blackberry shrub.”
He tilted his jaw to her right before peeking around the tree without looking at her as though her proximity had no effect on him. Clarke wondered if maybe it didn’t. She hadn’t seen the appeal of a man - any man - since she’d been forced to murder Finn. When Roan first taken her prisoner so long ago in the Trading Post, she’d sensed he was attracted to her, but she’d been so into Lexa and Niylah at the time, maybe Roan had dismissed her as only preferring girls, instead of being fluid either way. It wouldn’t be the first time that’d happened to her since people learned of her and Lexa. Clarke was surprised, standing there pressed against him, to find herself attracted to a man once more.
Roan hissed, jerking back so quickly that his jaw knocked her temple before an arrow thunked into the bark of their tree.
“Go!” he growled, shoving her sideways and stepping out, his bow notched with an arrow that he let fire at their assailant.
The wet thwack of the point into human flesh followed by a pained groan told her that Roan had hit his mark, but she didn’t turn back to look. Racing through the trees, she danced around the ground-trap he’d mentioned, accidentally knocking the edge hard enough to crumble it, but avoiding the stakes below before she kept running. Another arrow whistled past her, thunking into a tree while she weaved and Clarke skidded around the rock he’d spoken of with Roan on her heels.
“That way,” he pointed to a trail through the forest - nothing more than a deer-track. “Until you hit the river.”
“What about you?” she asked when she’d run a few more steps and turned to find he hadn’t followed her. Instead he drew his knife and crouched behind the rock.
Roan looked over his shoulder at her, that fierce expression on his scarred face that she grown so accustomed to since meeting him.
“Go!” he growled, eyes narrowed before their attacker rounded the rock, an arrow sticking out of his chest while he wheezed.
Roan leaped at him immediately, fighting hard and Clarke frowned but turned and ran where he’d told her, wondering where she was supposed to go once she’d reached the river. He’d pushed her all day long as his fellow Grounders pursued them. Primfaya hadn’t been nearly as destructive to the human race as they’d been led to believe, and a number of the Grounders left outside who’d survived wanted Clarke’s head.
They wanted Roan’s head too, thanks to his failed death at Luna’s hand. He’d survived, though how he’d done so, Clarke still didn’t know. She’d seen the wounds on his chest, stomach, and arms where Luna had cut him. How the Black Rain hadn’t melted his flesh - how the air of the Death Wave hadn’t choked his lungs, Clarke still didn’t know. She only knew that they were both alive, and Bellamy and Echo and all the others had rocketed into space while her mother and Marcus and Octavia had burrowed into the bunker, and they were left outside.
She looked back, wanting to help Roan; wanting to fight. She couldn’t, she knew. Climbing that tower to get her friends launched into space had nearly killed her and she was still blistered and probably disfigured after the Primfaya exposure. Roan wasn’t. He was only wounded from the conclave fights. She didn’t understand that either, since she had Nightblood and he didn’t. At the river, Clarke watched the fast running water race by over the rapids, and she glanced toward the skies. The sun was setting; the light failing, and soon they would be pitched into darkness where it would be that much easier for their pursuers to sneak up on them. Soon the night creatures that prowled – those that survived - would be hunting, too.
Clarke waited impatiently, gasping and clutching her side where a stitch burned. She was weak, and she wasn’t sure how much further she could run. Sitting down on a rock by the water, she tried to catch her breath and waited, hoping to hell Roan would win the skirmish. Honestly, she was so tired and so heartsore to have been left behind and locked outside that if Roan didn’t survive the fight, she didn’t imagine she’d be long out of her own grave.
“Wanheda,” Roan’s voice impeded as darkness fell completely while she waited and Clarke jerked around, seeing him limping out of the forest, a fresh cut on his cheek and new blood staining his hands.
“Oh, thank god,” Clarke sighed, wilting in exhaustion and relief.
“Get up,” he said as he limped over. “It’s not much further.”
“Where are you taking me?” she asked, looking up at him as she struggled to her feet.
“Home,” he murmured, his voice so soft and the chatter of the river so loud that she almost missed it.
She frowned, wondering if that meant the Ice Nation, or somewhere else; wondering if he’d ever truly had a home. Clarke hadn’t. It was a sad realisation, but it was the truth. The Ark had been both her home and her prison, and ever since they’d landed back on Earth, she’d been running and fighting and hiding, always on the move, never stopping in one place for long. She didn’t ask him where ‘home’ was. She was too tired to bother, and honestly, as long as she’d be able to rest when they got there, that’d be fine with her. Her body was working overtime to combat the radiation in the air, and she could tell it was straining Roan, too, but he didn’t complain.
In silence, he led her along the river’s edge for almost a mile before reaching a spot where a large tree lay across a fast flowing, deep section of the channel.
“Over you go,” he said. “Shuffle along on your arse if you have to.”
He limped out onto the trunk carefully before hissing when he tried to taking another limping step on his wounded leg and almost lost his balance. Before he could topple, Clarke was right behind him, clutching a wayward branch, her hand on his shoulder to steady him. He looked back in surprise, his brow furrowed.
“I won’t let you get hurt either,” she murmured by way of explanation when his confusion flickered across his features. “Go. I’ll follow.”
She nodded him across the log and he limped slowly, resorting to turning sideways and practically dragging his wounded leg behind him. Clarke frowned when she saw the dark stain of blood smearing across the wood as he did so. He was badly hurt then. Shit. She didn’t say anything, but when they were both safely across, Clarke caught Roan’s wrist, guiding his arm over her shoulders and relieving some of the pressure on his leg.
“That way,” he said after a long minute of watching her face for some hint that she meant him ill.
They shuffled into the trees, and though it was tough going, half a mile into the woods, they came across a rocky outcrop.
“Inside,” he murmured, his voice low and pained by her ear as he led her up a very faint trail and to a door, roughly hewn - Clarke realised with surprise - from the same tree they’d used for a bridge.
“Home?” she asked when he pushed the door open.
It was a small cave, boasting a forgotten fireplace and a bedframe crafted from stripped pine saplings and tightly woven river reeds.
“Home,” Roan told her quietly. “Home, after they banished me. No one else knows where it is. No one comes here.”
“Why?” Clarke frowned, helping him to the edge of the bed and setting him down before moving toward the small woodpile in the corner and the woven basket of kindling beside it to begin building a fire to keep away the predators.
“I killed any who tried,” Roan admitted quietly. “And the beasts have free reign out here. This is no-man’s land between Kru territories. The big cats aren’t the only creatures calling this part of the world home, and most human who might find it don’t make it across the river.”
“Will the cats come prowling?” Clarke asked, worriedly.
“Probably,” Roan nodded. “Trailing fresh blood to the door will lure a few of them. Some of them know me, after all this time. You live alone in the wilderness long enough, you develop a respect for the wildlife, but they’ve developed a respect for me too. They don’t like my fire, and they know I’ll kill them if they don’t kill me.”
Clarke nodded, crossing back to the door he must’ve spent days cutting, closing it firmly and noting the barricades tucked into an alcove behind it to hold it firmly shut.
“What’s out there?” she asked.
“Whatever escaped the zoos and survived from before the end of the world,” Roan shrugged. “Bears. Wolves. Lions. There’s a few tigers and some of the bigger primates. There’s a herd of elephants that passes through every year around this time, and there’s a couple of hippos that made their home down around the bend in the river. This corner of the world is where all the forgotten creatures come to carve out an existence.”
Clarke glanced up at him as she arranged the fire and got it smouldering, lighting up the blackness of the cave and illuminating that once upon a time Roan must’ve made quite the home for himself here. There were drying racks for meat and bundles of herbs hanging from the ceiling, furs piled on the bed, and all the tools for survival arranged around the large space, as needed. Weapons, baskets, storage containers.
“I suppose it’s been a while since you’ve been back?” she guessed.
“Not since I caught you,” he nodded. “Might still be some apples in the cache though. Over there, behind that fur. Go down the stairs.”
“Stairs?” Clarke frowned.
“Take a knife,” he said. “Never know what might’ve found it’s way in here.”
Clarke frowned and nodded, pulling her knife from her belt and struggling across the cave and behind the hung bearskin. She was shocked to find stairs dug into the soil, compacted into hard mud and lined with stones to keep the shape. She followed them down into a cellar he must’ve dug himself, and even more items were stored therein. Piles of furs and salvaged things from blankets, tarps and ropes to what looked like an old kitchen sink; reeds, baskets of apples, sealed containers of dried meat. He was well stocked to survive in this place.
A few mice skittered away from her as she approached, but she located the apples and some jerky that looked alright before returning above. She found Roan had removed his boots and was in the process of wriggling out of his pants to get at the wound on his leg. His knife was stuck in the flames, heating, ready to cauterize whatever wound he’d endured.
“Need a hand?” she asked, putting down the food items and shuffling closer.
“I got it,” he said. “Eat. Rest. I know you’re tired, Wanheda.”
Clarke frowned.
“I can help,” she said. “You got hurt protecting me.”
“I got hurt fighting,” he argued. “Don’t be a martyr.”
“You fought him for me. You specifically said you wouldn’t let me get hurt.” She frowned.
“And I won’t,” he muttered, hissing and almost falling as he stepped out of his pants, revealing pale, hairy legs, strong and toned with hard muscle. One was sticky with blood from a gash on his upper thigh. It’d avoided the artery, but it was bleeding heavily just the same, a long, deep cut bitten into the meaty flesh.
“Roan,” she frowned.
He ignored her, reaching for the knife he’d set in the flames and lifting it, ready to do what needed to be done. She noted that it wouldn’t be the only burn on his skin. He’d done this before, many times over. He hissed and a low groan escaped him when he pressed the red-hot blade to his skin. The sizzling of human hair and skin filled her ears, and the stink of it filled her nose, but Clarke didn’t look away.
He sighed when the wound was cauterized, throwing down the blade and sitting heavily on the edge of the bed once more. Clarke offered him the apples and the jerky she’d brought up from below before carefully sitting down on the bed beside him. Silence reigned between them before he laughed humourlessly and bit into his apple, shaking his head.
“What happens now?” she asked after they’d eaten. “My people are back in space, or all in a hole in the ground. From how much I’m still struggling with the radiation, even with Nightblood, they won’t be able to survive the surface for a while. How are you even surviving it?”
Clarke frowned as Roan rose from the bed, still barefoot and pantless, to feed a little more wood to the fire.
“I have no idea,” he shrugged his shoulders. “Might be the effect of that blood oath we swore. Might be my body and those of the other surviving Grounders has had longer to develop antibodies and mechanisms to better withstand radiation. We’re not all born with Nightblood, but we’ve been surviving the toxicity of the surface since clawing out way out of bunkers and other survival holes from the End. You live and breathe this shit long enough, you build up a tolerance, or you die. Skaikru didn’t have the chance up there.”
He pointed toward the ceiling and the sky beyond it before meeting her gaze across the flames.
“We’re alive,” she said. “So what happens now? My people are gone. I don’t know how many of yours survived.”
“They all want my head,” he reminded her. “Want your head, too.”
“I noticed,” Clarke sighed. “So what are we going to do?”
Roan shrugged, looking around the cave like he couldn’t decide if he hated the place, or was happy to be back.
“You remember when we were on our way to trying to develop a cure from Luna’s juis?” he asked. “In the car?”
“You asked what happens if we survive,” Clarke nodded. “If we just keep killing each other.”
Roan tipped his head to look at her, his blue eyes intense as they fixed upon her from across the fire. Clarke could decide if they gleamed with anger or sadness.
“Seems we do,” he said quietly.
She sighed. “It seems so,” she agreed. “I just... I wanted so badly for everyone to just... get along. I thought if we could all survive, we’d find a way.”
“No,” Roan answered. “You said the difference between us was that I didn’t care who survived if my people didn’t win the conclave, while you only cared that people survived. Was that true?”
“Yes,” Clarke said solemnly. “I don’t know why it matters to me. Maybe it’s an effect of living on the Ark for so long; or because I was raised inside the important circles governing Skaikru aboard the Ark and their primary effort was always about the continued survival of the human race at all costs, but it’s what I hoped for. Many of my people made it into the bunker. Many of yours did too, it seems. Many from all thirteen clans, if those people back there who survived the death wave are to be believed. They all went in with the intent of surviving, even at the cost of the people outside.”
“The ones outside are angrier now,” Roan told her. “The ones outside want to kill the ones inside even more, now.”
“I know,” Clarke sighed.
For a long time, only the sound of the fire crackling and spitting filled the air between them and Roan watched her in that way of his that always seemed to disarm her; to see right through all her bravado and all her bullshit, and Clarke looked back at him, wondering what in the hell they were supposed to do now.
“When you said that to me,” Roan said quietly, rising to his feet from where he’d crouched to feed the fire. “Something became clear to me.”
Clarke frowned, watching him round the fire and cross back to the bed. It wasn’t late enough for bed yet; not really, but he jerked him thumb to have her rise so he could pull back the furs and blankets piled on it before clambering into bed, stopping only to rip his shirt off over his head, leaving him in just underwear.
“What?” she asked when he moved further across the large bed to make room for her so that she might climb in beside him, making no fuss about having her in his home or sharing his bed with her because there were no other options, and he was not a man who gave a damn about pretence when faced with cold hard facts.
“You were right,” Roan said quietly when Clarke shimmied out of her outer things, bloodstained and messy as they were. “I didn’t give a damn what happened to anyone else if Azgeda didn’t win. But I also realised... I didn’t really give a damn about Azgeda surviving, either. Luna’s speech was radical and complete bullshit, for the most part, but she was right that the killing had to stop; that it wouldn’t stop, as long as the clans survived.”
“You don’t think the killing would’ve stopped if only Azgeda had made it into that bunker?” she frowned at him.
“I don’t think any two people can coexist without wanting to kill each other,” he replied. “Look at you and me. How many times have we wanted to kill each other?”
Clarke frowned, supposing he had a point. She’d never wanted to kill him, but she would be lying to say she had never conceived it and never attempted to do so.
“I hated this place, when they banished me,” he confessed quietly, rolling to his back and staring up at the ceiling of the cave. “I cursed it every night I went to sleep, and I cursed it again every time I woke up. I was obsessed with finding a way back to my people.”
Clarke listened quietly, surprised he would share so much when he’d proved, thus far, to be such a private man.
“When I became the King of Azgeda... that first night, after they crowned me; after everything I’d done to get there; everything we’d done, to put me there.... I went to bed that night in that fucking tower, half a mile above the ground in a big feather bed with all the comforts and luxuries I could want. And all night long, I tossed and turned and wished I was here.”
Clarke reached out, putting her hand on his shoulder and offering silent comfort, unsure what to say in the face of his admission.
“Roan...” she began, though she had no idea how to continue. He cut her off before she could.
“In Allie’s bunker, we spoke about it being a hard day... do you remember what you said?” he asked, turning his head back to look at her.
“They’re all hard,” Clarke whispered, nodding.
“They don’t have to be,” he told her. “When I was banished, living in this damn cave all alone, I thought the days were hard; made harder by my isolation and needing to do every damn thing myself just to survive. But after dealing with people; being in charge of people; being their King... I prefer this. It’s going to be a long time before your people inside that bunker can survive on the surface. Might be even longer while the remaining Krus try to figure their lives out now when all the important people are down there. But I don’t want any part of it, Clarke. I don’t want to be their king. I don’t care if they survive or how they survive or how the govern themselves. I don’t care if they fucking kill each other. I just want to live here in peace. I want to live well.”
Clarke frowned when he waited a moment, his eyes holding hers, before he rolled away, turning his back to her and revealing the scars, like wings, burned into his flesh. They glowed stark white compared to his tanned skin by the light of the fire, and Clarke was struck again by their beauty.
“Goodnight, Wanheda,” he murmured, and Clarke sighed.
“Goodnight,” she whispered in reply, exhaustion claiming her.
She wondered if maybe he was right. Maybe their time was done. What the other survivors on the outside of the bunker did with their lives was up to them. She couldn’t deny that those days when she’d been on the run had been some of the easiest of her life; when she only had herself to please. Maybe she could have that again. Maybe this cave could be home for her, as it was home for Roan. Maybe she could just exist in peace, without worrying about everyone else for a change.
Maybe, until that damn bunker opened again and she had to face her mother and Marcus and the others, once more... maybe until then she could learn how to live well, too.

TROS: Out of character Reylo moments
Even though we have way more different stories about couples and their adventures saved for later, this first week was all about Star Wars and Reylo in particular.
This is the way.
Let’s talk about moments that were way out of character for Ben Solo and Rey. Together as well as apart.
You bet there’s gonna be spoilers.
1. “What could you give me?”
If you ever wanted to see a nightmarish version of Star Wars, the opening of TROS is your best bet. Everything looks creepy, but somehow still acceptable within the universe. Up until Supreme Leader Kylo Ren asks Palpatine about his possible offerings. I think we’ve covered this before, but there is no way that after all the mess with Luke and Snoke, Kylo would be interested in whatever Palps has to say. If he wanted to make a pitch, he should’ve started with turning his fleet against Kylo and his Order. That could’ve worked better than a helpless raisin on a mechanical hanger talking.
2. “You’re a difficult man”
Why does it feel like Rey we know is kind of a different person? It’s not that she wouldn’t talk back to people, it’s just that the phrase itself sounds more like something Leia or Amylin Holdo would say, who are (were) both higher than Poe in the chain of command. Rey is on the same level with him. But no, that’s not even the point — they both messed up. Why is he difficult for arguing about it, and she isn’t? This might seem funny or cute to some people, which is good, that was the intention. But it does feel a bit forced, like in the writing room someone gave this joke more credit than it deserved.
3. “I don’t want to go without your blessing, but I will.”
Rey says that to Leia, adding the fact that that’s what Leia herself would’ve done. How is that out of character? Well, we have our parallels between the OT, and the ST. And Rey has already learned her valuable lesson about helping someone before completing her training. “This is not going to go the way you think,” that was Luke’s warning, pretty much the same one he’s gotten before from Yoda. But Rey at this point is supposed to know better than facing the Emperor without any preparation. Makes you think if she was supposed to face someone else altogether, ready for a challenge this time.
4. Fixing the mask
Just why? To show it around? We were told it was meant to fulfill a particular task, but we never learn more. If it’s to keep Palps out of his head, then okay, we would just like a bit more explanation within the film. And why is a chimp fixing it? Ok, moving on.
5. “The First Order is to become a true Empire”
Too bad he’s abandoned his “let the past die” narrative. It was compelling.
6. “You can’t hide Rey, not from me.”
From what we know of Ben, who is the one usually talking to Rey, he doesn’t talk to her like that. That would make her scared and angry, and is that what he really wants? Especially if mere moments later he’s announcing his plan to turn her.
7. “You’re haunted. You can’t stop seeing what you did to your father”
They’ve already covered it in TLJ, but clearly, someone is implying that never happened.
8. “Do you still count the days since your parents left?”
See how every line makes this dialogue fall apart? Again, Ben Solo sucks at saying the right thing to Rey on the go. But when he has time to prepare, he makes pretty decent speeches. And this one would make her cry again. He’s smarter than this.
9. “I don’t wanna have to kill you…”
We know.
10. “I’m going to find you, and turn you”, and so on.
Didn’t go well the last time. Seriously, he’s supposed to learn, but the author here seriously opposes the idea. Besides, this whole speech is a mess. He’s not the smoothest talker, but he sounds way too rude here. And we know that there’s been a year, and there were supposed to be other Force Bonds. But he’s acting… well, out of character. Definitely out of the one we know from TLJ. He can’t go backwards like that.
11. Kylo trying to roadkill Rey, Rey cutting the wing off.
What’s that about? Seems like you can fight through the Force Bond now, why bother meeting up in random places? It feels like by this point they would manage to stay in the same galaxy without being at each other throats, but why is the script actively trying to convince us otherwise? It honestly fails to make any sense. And what was the original plan for both? Murder?
AND DID EVERYONE IN THIS SCENE FORGET ABOUT KYLO?
Finn screams, Poe screams, Rey screams, all in the same space. Kylo is just… standing there.
12. Kylo chatting it up with Palps
In his mask, that was supposedly fixed to keep the guy out of his head. Without holocommunicator or anything. I just don’t understand it at all. It’s not ooc as much as it’s plain illogical.
13. Rey running away right after healing Ben
She just almost killed Ben, then sensed Leia’s death. The logical outcome is actually an immediate meltdown. It would’ve been even more powerful if this happened before she healed Ben, giving him a chance to comfort her, bring her back to light more or less, because at this moment it’s obvious that she is under dark influence. And that would give her a stronger reason to heal him. Of course, the outcome of this scene would also be way different.
14. Rey didn’t even cry
It apparently took her less than a day to accept the “attachments are forbidden” aspect. That’s some high quality training, I’m gonna have to say. We still can’t get over the fact that she didn’t cry, break down or at least honor Ben in any way.
Okay, that’s it for now. There are still great scenes in there somewhere, so we would prefer to remember them.

miasswier’s ultimate glee ranking: no 3
3: Born This Way
Written by: Brad Falchuk Directed by: Alfonso Gomez-Rejon
Overall Thoughts: This may be the closest Glee ever came to a perfect episode. It’s funny, it’s emotional, it’s well-developed, and it deals with a variety of issues that have been building for the past two seasons. Really, the only reason that it’s ranked number 3 is because of the emotional value of top 2. It really is a wonderful, amazing episode.
What I Like:
Although I don’t like her motivation (I’ll get into that later), I did like that it was Santana, not Finn or Rachel or Will, who ultimately got Kurt to come back to McKinley.
Related to that, all the scenes between Santana and Karofsky are fucking comedy gold.
“I was just seeing what kind of jeans he was wearing” “Like that’s any less gay”
I also love the scene where Kurt and Blaine are hanging out with Santana, Mercedes, and Tina. I really like that Blaine continuous to make an effort to get to know Kurt’s friends and hang out with them. I also love how he feels so strongly about Kurt staying at Dalton as long as it isn’t safe at McKinley. It’s so sweet because it’s so clear he just cares about what’s best for Kurt, even though it’s clear that he would like to stay close to his boyfriend.
I appreciated that the Lauren and Rachel stories sort of intertwined by both of them including Quinn. You can tell how hard this lesson is for Quinn because she couldn’t accept herself the way she was, and while I don’t think that she’s trying to get others to change because she felt she had to, you can tell (especially at the end) that she’s upset that she seems to be the only person who needed to change herself in order to accept herself. Personally, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with trying to change and improve yourself, but I also don’t think it’s right to only do so because you don’t like who you are. I think if you love yourself you want to be your best self, and that doesn’t look the same for everybody. Clearly for Rachel, Quinn, and Lauren, that looks very different. It just so happens that for Rachel and Lauren their best self is who they already were, whereas Quinn felt like her best self couldn’t be achieved without change.
I also really liked how Lauren wanted to be Prom Queen, and how she didn’t allow Quinn to bully her into withdrawing because she was fat-shaming her.
I also like how going negative backfired on Lauren.
The scene where Finn shows Quinn the picture he keeps of her in his wallet. I will talk about it a bit in the negative side, but I really do like the scene and the emotion behind it. I think it’s sweet, and something Quinn really needed in this episode.
The Barbra-vention scene is pretty cute. I love the idea that Puck contacted Kurt about staging an intervention for Rachel because he would know how to do it best.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I really like that Rachel didn’t just immediately drop her plans to get a nose job when Finn told her she was beautiful. Because honestly, she was totally convinced at this point that this was what was best for her, both for her looks and for her voice (which we all know was an excuse, but Rachel has this uncanny ability to lie to herself so much she genuinely believes what she’s saying), so why would one guys opinion change anything? Everyone else already told her not to do it, and she didn’t listen. I’m just really glad that they didn’t make it into a Finchel thing where Finn’s approval stops Rachel from getting a nose job.
When Figgins asks the Glee club to hear Karofsky out and Sam is like “how about we punch his face off” and Mercedes goes “Yeah”
The whole arc with Emma is SO AMAZING. I could write an entire essay about how much I fucking LOVE Emma in this episode and the journey she goes through. I won’t, though, because this review is already getting long as fuck. I will instead summarize with my favourite quote from her story: “Your illness is not who you were meant to be it. It’s keeping you from being who you were meant to be.”
Karofsky’s development. Even though he’s being blackmailed by Santana, you can tell that he does feel at least some regret over what he did (which builds to the climax we get in “Prom Queen”).
Fuck, I LOVE that last scene with Brittany and Santana. Not only is Santana’s deadpan “I’m Hispanic” absolutely hilarious, but I always get so fucking emotional when Santana is like “I told you that I loved you and you didn’t say you loved me back” (which btw is untrue because Brittany does in fact tell her she loves her in “Sexy”) and Brittany goes “I do love you, clearly you don’t love you as much as I do or you’d put this shirt on and you would dance with me”. Fuck, it gets me every single time.
The ending is amazing too. Rachel and Emma coming out with their shirts, everyone dancing, Kurt, Mercedes, and Tina taking the lead… So good. The perfect ending to the perfect episode.
What I Don’t Like:
Santana’s motivation for doing everything is tricking Brittany into dating her. That’s super not cool. Like, really, really, really not cool.
Also, the fact that she blackmails Karofsky to get it done, and in the process hurts Sam, who she is supposed to be dating. Like, she doesn’t even have the decency to break up with Sam before announcing she’s dating Karofsky in front of the Glee club. Shit move.
The fact that Lauren, who was literally just fat-shamed by Quinn, and who is fat-shamed all the fucking time, decided that the way she was going to beat Quinn was by fat-shaming her. Like I already said, I’m glad it backfired.
While I do really like the scene between Finn and Quinn with the picture, it always leaves me with a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, just because I am fully aware that if Quinn actually looked like that Finn would have never even looked at her.
Similarly, while I like the Barbra-vention scene, it does play into the constant theme of everyone having to drop everything because Rachel feels bad about herself and they need to prove to her that she’s better than anybody else in the entire world, and only then will she realize that they’re right and she shouldn’t do whatever she’s doing or think whatever she’s thinking. Also, they never would have done anything like that for any other member of the Glee club.
I don’t like the scene where Will shoves the unwashed fruit in Emma’s face. It makes me feel really uncomfortable.
Songs:
I Feel Pretty/Unpretty: I don’t know why Rachel and Quinn didn’t sing more duets. Their voices go together so well. And this mash-up is gorgeous. So melancholy, but still beautiful. I love it.
I’ve Gotta Be Me: I actually do like this song. It’s a fun number, and I like how he’s dancing with Mike throughout it.
Somewhere Only We Know: This song is so gorgeous. The performance is sweet. Just, so good.
As If We Never Said Goodbye: I love this song so much. I used to think it was boring, and the performance too long, but now it’s one of my favourite Kurt solos. It’s so emotional, and he sounds so good on it. Everyone’s reaction to him singing it in the choir room makes me so happy, too.
Born This Way: Love, love, love this song. A perfect way to end off an amazing episode.
Final Thoughts: If I was told I could only ever watch five episodes of Glee for the rest of my life, this would be one of them. It’s raw, and emotional, and sweet, and amazing. One of the closest Glee ever came to a perfect episode.

Idk if I’m too late for this but I wish you would write a raven/Clarke fic where Clarke and raven tip toe around each other when Clarke is brought back until something small happens and raven realizes how she’s been acting
Also @donkey-is-my-spirit-animal: I wish you’d write an angsty raven and Clarke reconciliation!
Combining these two since they are very similar. I’m glad people are with me with the desperate need for some kindness and love in the Raven / Clarke relationship!
It’s hard to go back into the world when your body doesn’t feel likeyour own.
Clarke slips back into it, but it always feels slightly off. Likewearing your pants backwards. She shifts and tries to get back into the world, but can’t seem to get on the right foot. So Clarke does what she does knows howto do: keep her head down and wait until a problem appears that she can solve.Until then, she tries to live as quietly as possible.
Her life was so loud. It’s time for quiet.
Clarke stands at the edge of Sanctum and looks out across the fields.Shouldering her bag, she moves to start her hike when someone reaches her side.Clarke startles at the movement, even more surprised when Raven stands next toher. Clarke wants to ask her what she’s doing here, but it’s so odd, that shedoesn’t say anything.
She isn’t sure if she can listen to anymore of it. Her body doesn’tfeel like herself and she can’t put up a fight. Because it’s a fight simply towake up and remember everything that happened with her body. A body that is only partially hers now. She alwaysthought she could handle the blood on her hands. She never thought she’d haveto figure out how to live with someone else’s.
“You know, I didn’t know Shaw all that well.” Raven starts, walkingnext to her. Clarke isn’t sure what’s happening. Raven doesn’t sound angry, butshe doesn’t sound like the way they used to speak together. “He wasn’t likeanyone I’d met before. He understood loss, but he could match me, you know? Hefought for me when I barely knew him. But, I thought we’d have a future, youknow? When I saw his grave, I was sad, yes. But I wasn’t… surprised.”
Clarke isn’t sure what to say. She waits. She waits for the yelling, the barbs.
Raven sucks in a breath. “When Bellamy told me that Russell had killedyou,” Raven continues and Clarke tries not to show anything on her face. “I wasangry. I was furious. I understand Shaw dying, because everyone around me dies.Finn, Sinclair, Shaw… I lost everyone I loved again and again. And you let meblame you for almost everyone. You let meblame you for Finn, I blamed you forShaw.”
Raven stops and turns to Clarke, her eyes watering. “You died. How dare you.”
“H-How dare… me?” Clarke asks, completely taken aback. “A-Are you upset with me about this? Are youhonestly upset with me for dying?”
“Of course I’m upset at youfor dying!” Raven shouts, her eyes wild. “I am so pissed off at you for dying! How dare you! How dare you!”
Clarke takes a step back. “Why do you hate me so much? W-We were oncefriends. Good friends. I viewed you as family and… why do you hate me so much?”
“I don’t hate you!” Raven shouts back. Tears are falling down her face.“I love you! I love you so. Much. AndI hate the fact that you died on me! You were the one person who wasn’tsupposed to die. You never die! Yougot out of Mount Weather, you went into the City of Light, you injectedyourself with nightblood, you survived the freaking end of the world. And wefinally get somewhere we can be safe and you die?” Raven puts a hand on her face as it breaks. “You weren’t supposedto—”
Clarke doesn’t know what to do. Raven rarely breaks. She only breakswhen hope is lost. But hope isn’t lost. They’re all here, they’re alive, andthey can stay. “Raven, I—”
“I blamed you.” Raven continues. “I blamed you because it was easierthan seeing who really was to blame. And I know you can handle it. Because Ican’t handle it.” She shakes her head. “If I really think of who killed them, Icouldn’t take it.”
“No,” Clarke says, reaching out and grabbing her arm. Raven rips it outof her grasp, but Clarke tries again and grips her tightly. “Raven, none ofthem were your fault. Finn…” Clarke shuts her eyes. She’s locked him in a boxthat she never takes out, but he’s there. “Finn wasn’t your fault. Sinclair wasn’t your fault. Shaw…” Clarke thinksof him, lying on the ground, life leaving his body. “Shaw was not your fault.”
Raven shuts her eyes. “They all were with me. In some way or another. Theyall…”
“I get that, Raven.” Clarke answers, squeezing her tight. “I understandfeeling like, you can’t have anything. Or anyone. But I’m here for you. And Idon’t plan on being here anytime soon.”
“You can’t promise that. You already died,” Raven says. “You can’t—”
“I’m here.” Clarke reaches out and pulls Raven close to her. The womanresists briefly, but then her arms wrap around her shoulders.
Raven puts her chin on Clarke’s shoulder. “I’m sorry.”
“Raven—”
“No, I’m sorry.” Pulling away, Raven blinks a few tears away. “And I’mso glad you’re back.” Raven wraps her arms around Clarke’s neck. “Thank you forstaying alive.”
Clarke shuts her eyes, finally feeling like things are slotting backinto place. Into the world she thought she’d get after Praimfaya. “And Clarke?”Raven says into her shoulder.
“I’d choose you first.”

"O'death please spare me over another year..."
The yelling is what woke Callie up. She groaned at the thought of the camp being up so early when it felt like she got no sleep. Moving to roll over to tell them to keep it down, her eyes popped open at the feeling of weight on her. The sky above her was painted with deep reds and blues signaling the night coming, but that didn't explain the fact that she had dead weight on her.
Till she looked down and everything came rushing back to her.
Bellamy, the Grounders, the fight ...and Clarke shooting the rockets off. Grunting Callie shoved the dead Grounder off her body as she fought to stand up. Her head was killing her and when she pulled her hand away she noticed some blood. Finally able to stand up, Callie hissed at the pain that was in her leg and looked down and saw that she had a gash down her calf. Shaking her head, she lifted herself out of the foxhole that had protected her and started making her way back to camp. The voices could me the other 100 or more Grounders, either way the girl was ready.
Keeping her sword in her hand she kept her eyes open and looked around as the voices got closer. When they spoke again Callie was able to recognize one of them and her heart stopped.
"Dad!" She yelled limping towards the entrance to the camp. Coming up to the gate, she saw her dad standing there with a gun raised as well as a few others from the guard. "Dad!" She yelled again as she leaned against the gate. Marcus Kane's eyes widened as he took in the sight of his daughter. Her hair was blowing wild in the wind, clothes were torn and covered in blood that wasn't hers but she had the biggest smile on her face at the sight of her dad.
His face matched hers as he ran to take her into his arms. "Calliope, oh god. What happened?" He asked with worry in his voice as he checked her over. Looking down Marcus noticed her calf bleeding and got some cloth from his bag and had her sit while he wrapped the wound. Callie sighed at the weight that was starting to be lifted. Her dad was here...she didn't have to do this alone anymore.
"We tried so hard to make peace dad but we couldn't. They attacked and Clarke..." She said trailing off looking towards the ship. "Oh my god, everyone is in the drop ship. We have to get to them." She said standing up as she tried to take off.
"Cal, Cal stop. No one is there but Raven we already checked. Abby is with her now helping her." Marcus said looking at his daughter. His hand was on his shoulder stopping her from running forward.
"Then they were taken. Because when I was pushed into that foxhole they were safe." She said her eyes quickly scanning around. The pressure on her chest had returned and Callie was trying to hold it together. "Have you found anyone else?" She asked looking at her dad. Maybe there was some kind of hope left.
Marcus shook his head and sighed. "We have a few guards out looking but we haven't found anything yet." He said quietly.
Callie nodded as she looked away, hiding the tears that were threatening to spill. She didn't want her father seeing her break down, he saw that enough on the Ark. "Callie, we will find them. I promise." Marcus said putting an arm around his daughter and pulling her close. Callie nodded knowing he had no clue who the tears were really for.
The redhead just let her father hug her for a second before the other guards started yelling. "Hey! There's someone coming out of the tunnels." Callie looked over, her eyes filled with fear as she saw the movement. Her first thought was that the reapers had come back down to finish them off. She moved into an attack stance with her sword at her side, something her father didn't miss, and prepared to fight again.
When she saw the head of curly brown hair all the breath left her body and Callie felt weak. Bellamy and Finn emerged and her eyes met the chocolate ones that she fell in love with and the world just stopped.
Callie managed to put her sword back in the sheath that she had taken from the Grounder and started slowly walking towards the boys. She was scared that if she moved to quickly then they would both vanish and she would wake up alone.
"Bell..." She breathed out. Bellamy shot her that smirk that he had only for her and Callie took off running. The distance was short but to both of them it felt like forever as Bellamy started walking forward to meet her halfway. Callie's leg was screaming at her to stop but she ignored the pain by focusing on his face.
Bellamy stopped and held his arms open as the redhead jumped at the last second and he caught her after dropping his rifle. His hand went behind her head as his arm wrapped around her waist. Callie's feet were brushing the ground as her arms locked around his neck. She didn't think about what she did next. Callie didn't care that they weren't alone and that her dad was staring at them, she didn't care that everything was falling apart around them, all Callie knew was that he was okay.
Pressing her lips to him she smiled into the kiss when he returned it. Callie felt herself be lowered slowly to the ground without breaking it. Bellamy never let his lips leave the redheads till she pulled back herself. Moving the hair away from her face he smiled at her as she hugged him again.
"I thought I lost you." She whispered. The pain and fear from the past events was starting to evaporate with him standing there.
"Can't get rid of me that easy Red." He said echoing her words previously with a smile. "Although if this it the reaction I get every time I almost die then I should do it more often." Bellamy said chuckling as she pulled him closer to her.
"Don't you fucking dare." She said pressed against his chest. Pulling away she reached over and pulled Finn in for a hug as her father walked up behind the three.
Clearing his throat, Marcus glared at Bellamy as he stood next to his daughter. Bellamy tried to avoid his gaze but it wasn't working and he could feel himself starting to worry.
"We need to get back to Camp. Abby has to work on Raven and we need to be somewhere safe." He said as his eyes never left Bellamy.
Before Finn could ask about Raven a voice was speaking as a guard walked out of the dropship with someone. "It was insane, so much death." Callie and the boys turned towards it and Callie met the eyes of the last person that she wanted to be around. Murphy spotted them and looked a bit shocked to find them all staring at him.
Bellamy tensed next to Callie as he pushed her behind him. The last thing he wanted was to have her near that monster when he just got her back and safe. "Murphy. I'm going to kill you!" He yelled as he ran towards Murphy's shocked face. Callie reached out to stop him but she was too late as Bellamy was already on the boy and beating him into the ground.
"Bellamy stop!" Callie and Finn yelled as they both ran forward. Finn reached him first and tore him off Murphy as the guards helped Murphy up off the ground. Marcus walked over and slapped some cuffs on Bellamy's wrists and held his rifle ready.
"Dad what the hell?!" Callie asked trying to walk over to Bellamy. Marcus put his hand on her shoulder and shook his head. "We are not animals. We don't solve our issues with fighting." He spat out looking at the two boys.
"Sir, with all due respect, Bellamy had every right to go after Murphy. He tried to kill both he and Callie." Finn said stepping forward. "Those marks on Callie's neck aren't from Grounders. They are from Murphy."
Marcus looked over at is daughters neck and saw the black and purple bruises that looked about a day old. Glaring at Murphy he nodded to the guard to put cuffs on him too. "We will talk about this when we get back to camp."
Callie rolled her eyes as Abby made her way out to them. "Marcus we have to go. Raven isn't doing well." She said as Callie's eyes widened "Callie i'm going to need your help when we get back to camp." Abby said looking at her as the redhead nodded.
Kane nodded as Finn headed into the dropship to help get Raven. Callie walked over to where Bellamy was and put a hand on his arm and smiled. Walking up ahead next to her dad she chewed on her lip.
"So what's going on with you two?" Kane asked not looking at his daughter. Callie scoffed before looking at him. "You don't waste any time do you." She said, shaking her head. "Nothing really. And if something was going on with us, I'm a big girl dad. I can make my own choices."
"He shot someone Calliope. He shot the Chancellor." Marcus said finally looking at his daughter. "He didn't try and steal something or wasted air+6, he tried to kill someone."
"To save his sister." Callie said her voice rasing. "That you put away if I might add. He's not a bad guy dad. And he did a damn good job keeping us all alive. I would of been dead if it wasn't for him."
Bellamy watched Callie wave her hands as she spoke to her father up ahead. He knew that Kane wasn't happy with whatever was going on between him and his daughter, but Bellamy honestly didn't care. He knew that no matter what happened, if Callie was with him then he would be fine.
"I have never met a human more stubborn than Marcus Kane till his daughter came along." Abby said walking up next to the boy.
Bellamy laughed as he nodded. "I don't know, your daughter could give them a run for their money." He said. He saw her face fall when Clarke was mentioned. "Hey we are going to find her. If anyone can it's that girl up there." He said motioning to Callie.
After walking for about an hour, the group emerged from the trees to a huge camp in front of them. Marcus looked at his daughter as her eyes shifted around looking for threats.
"Welcome to Arcadia." He said as the gates opened and they walked through. Finn and Abby took Raven to the med bay and the guards started leading Bellamy and Murphy away. Callie was about to say something when she heard her name being called.
"Callie?" The redhead turned and saw the sandy blonde man walking towards her.
"James?" She asked as he got closer. "Oh my god, how are you here?" Callie asked him as she pulled him in for a hug.
"I guess I was lucky and ended up on the right ship down." James as laughing as he pulled back. Callie was about to say something when she caught Bellamy's eyes and saw the hurt that was automatically masked again.
"Callie, I need your help." Abby yelled. Callie nodded and started heading that way waving softly at James.
"I'll see you later, duty calls." She said laughing a bit and running towards med bay.
Yeah..this was about to get real complicated.
