You were sent on a mission by yourself by Fukuzawa to gather information on a rival organization. You knew the risks of this but you were willing to risk it To give the Ada any type of advantage. Before your mission dazai told you to be more cautious about everyone and everything, he had a pitiful feeling in his stomach..the same feeling when he lost his dear friend, which left him wondering if his past finally catching up to him?

Ever since you left the feeling only got worse and worse, he couldn’t take it anymore it was eating him alive he felt a sense of guilt, and for the first time in year, he felt fear..? Something might have happens to you..days without contact or even texts all his texts were delivered you never left him on delivered. He couldn't take it anymore and decided he will look for you himself.

Meanwhile, you haven't texted Dazai due to leaving your work phone at the ADA in order to not cause any suspicion between you and your new boss however you couldn't stay like this forever he saw you rummaging through classified files which ended up with you having to reveal your identity causing you to fight. What surprised you was the ambush from behind which ended up with u getting stabbed in the chest and losing conscious.

Once he got there he was late...your body on the ground bleeding profusely, he couldn't believe it he failed you. The person he vowed to serve and protect you only to fail you. His heart aches at seeing you so motionless so still. He couldn't even form a word he couldn't even stand on his feet. “You're not gone [name] right..” his voice filled with sorrow and disbelief. If only he came earlier..he could've prevented this he wouldn’t have lost you.

He ran to your body and held it..for the first time in years he couldn’t mask his emotions how could he..you were special to him the only one keeping on this ground, but now that your gone he has no will to live no reason to be here. “[name] I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you, you didn’t deserve this awful fate my love..I’m sorry”. You were still conscious you heard everything how u you wish you can tell him “everything’s going to be okay” but honestly not even you knew if your going to make it”

Dazai held u so close running towards the nearest hospital he could find without any second thought begging every doctor to treat you before it was to late. He didn’t leave your side the whole time you were unconscious, atsushi brought Dazai food and made sure to give him company and any ounce of hope he had.

It was almost a month since that event you haven’t woken up not even once…this left Dazai terrified he only thought of the worst outcome. Though before u hit one month of being unconscious you woke up, every emotion hitting you but the one hitting you the most was shock and fear. You couldn't believe you were alive, and you also wondered who brought you to the hospital but soon realization and memories hit you. Dazai found you laying unconscious, you couldn't help but have guilt. Your poor husband finding you unconscious and unresponsive was a horror to think about.

You were so deep in thought you didn't notice Dazai practically tugging you into a hug crying his eyes out on your shoulder. [name] my love I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you, I'm sorry I failed you I was so scared, I was so scared of you leaving me like everyone” he said between broken sobs. “Dazai dear I'm sorry for being so careless I really should've seen it coming” you say through your tears.

To say the least, dazai is happy you're alive and that's all that matters to him.

Nakahara Chuuya

You and Gin were sent on a mission personally requested by Mori, which was odd since usually, he would have you take missions with Chuuya since he had his suspicions here and there. You always found your boss “odd” he always figured out things even he was told which was a scary thought.

On the mission, you were told to play a fair person and your objective was to woe the victim over and that's when Gin strikes. Though it was easier said than done, during the night you felt like something was coming for you or that you were being watched but you pushed your thoughts away for the sake of the mission. You found something quite odd about your victim he looks like a former mafia member though you've never seen him, you feel like his name was mentioned somewhere.

Fortunately, before the night ended you got the victim to think that you were an innocent person trying to get help from him for your company on how to grow it etc. But he knew you were from the mafia he had his eyes on you ever since you stepped in, he knew Mori would send an executive to assassinate him during this party. You had a feeling that your facade was seen through like clear glass, which made the gut feeling start to tell you “leave” or “go home” but you knew being in the mafia your life was always on risk.

Chuuya on the other hand was sweating and shaking something was telling him to watch over you that night, he had a feeling Mori had some plan since usually he would send him with you and no one else. So while you and Gin were on your way to the party he followed you guys but decided to stay hidden until he felt he was needed.

You were unexpectedly brought a handkerchief to your mouth making you pass out. Otherwise, Gin was concerned about what could have happened to you, you weren't giving her any sign to strike..unless the struck first which had her panicking since she also didn't see the host anywhere. She Knew something was wrong, so through her headset she let everyone know “Code red, our executive is missing”. Just hearing this made Chuuya jump and head to the party area before he knew it, he was frantically searching for you everywhere in the area but had no luck he couldn't find you and this made him more frustrated he couldn't believe he took his eyes off you for a bit and you were MISSING.

It was days maybe 3 days since the incident they had you tied to a chair with handcuffs tied to both hands making it impossible to use your ability. You were so beat up all these days tortured just for some information you didn't have. “Now where is that supply box” he spoke, another hit towards your ribs but you stayed silent. “OH SO WE ARE GONNA PLAY THE SILENT GAME ARE WE?!” he says but before you were hit again the doors of the area were crushed open before you knew it Gin ran to you and untied you, and carried you to the truck where they already had a medical professional on board.

Meanwhile, chuuya made sure this man was dead and he made sure that he paid for what he did to you. Chuuya had rage in him, the state he found you in made me sick and sad, how could this asshole do this to you. After his job was chuuya got back to the truck where the doctor talked to him. “Sir they will be unconscious for a few days maybe a few hours if lucky but they had a few broken ribs and a few bruises to the head”. He couldn't believe what he heard, he felt the rage he had earlier come back to him, but he kept his composer just nodded to the doctor.

He was now facing you he felt his heart shatter to 100 pieces the pain and guilt he felt was eating him alive. “If only I got there earlier” or “I should've taken the mission but compared to other missions this was one of the least dangerous. He knelt near your bed while holding your hand slowly letting the tears down.

After 3 days you finally open your eyes looking around the unfamiliar room it looked nothing like the mafia hospital room which relieved you, you didn't have to deal with mori and his annoying overbearing antics, how u hated him and wanted someone to take his spot.

While lost in thought u turn to see flowers and a note on the bedside, you grabbed them smiling to yourself already knowing who it was. As you looked at the flowers you open the note slightly smiling as you read. “My dearest [name] I’m sorry I wasn’t there to protect you as I vowed to you I will, so after you feel better let me take you out to eat, sincerely yours Chuuya Nakahara” but before you finished you saw the end “ps I’ll visit you later I'm on a mission right now”. You never knew how you got lucky with such a man but honestly, it did take you guys a while to be where you are at right now.

Later…

You were sitting down reading a book when you heard the hospital door bust open, at first you thought it was an enemy attack but you were relieved to see Chuuya at the door with a little box at hand. “My love” you heard Chuuya speak “I got you this,” he says as he gives you the box. You were shocked, to be honest, you weren't expecting anything so when u recognized the jewelry box you began to cheer up. “Thank you dear you didn't have to,” you say smiling at him while opening the box, to your surprise there was a gorgeous necklace that you'd been wanting for a while but couldn't get your hands on it, so it was surprising to see Chuuya get ahold of such an item.

You felt your eyes start to tear up as you pulled Chuuya into a tight hug and whispered “Thank you my love I couldn't ask for someone more amazing than you”. Chuuya was surprised by your sudden action but didn't complain at all. “My love I'm sorry for not being there on time,” Chuuya said his voice cracking “If maybe I was there earlier this could've been avoided”. “Chuuya it's ok, I'm fine I'm here with you look on the bright side at least we got him” you say softly.

Chuuya knew you were right, he was just happy you were alive and with him still.

“Dazai-san, Yosano-san wants you at the medical office. She wants you to- ”

A broad chest slams itself onto poor Atsushi’s face, cutting him mid-sentence. A pair of strong bandaged arms wrap around his waist, preventing his cute ass from kissing the floor.

“Ah, Atsushi-kun, you always manage to make some sort of contact with me. Can’t you wait until tonight?”

Atsushi blushes and tries pushing the brunet away.

“D-Dazai! Not now, not here!”

“Why not?”

He leans down to Atsushi’s level, biting his earlobe.

“Everyone knows you belong to me. You shout it out to the city every night, after all.”

The poor boys face heats up even more and he tries pushing Dazai away, to no avail. Dazai’s grip on his waist was too strong. Atsushi gives up and hides his face in his hands.

The bandaged man grins, pecking the shorter male and striding over to Yosano’ s office.

The sudden lack of contact makes Atsushi whimper and lose balance. He grabs onto the nearest surface to support himself; his knees weren’t quite helping him.

“You should read some spice, you know.”

He jumps at the voice, turning behind to spot little Kyoka.

“What?”

“Read some... exciting stuff. You can find it literally anywhere. That way you will be less flustered when he flirts with you. If you want a link or something, hit me up.”

Atsushi gulps, wondering why the child is giving him relationship advice.

“Wait a minute. Why do you know where to read all that stuff?!”

She gives him an ‘Are you serious?’ look.

“Take a guess, dumbass.”

She walked away, leaving a dumbfounded and shocked baby tiger behind.

Dazai walked home a little after his boyfriend. He had to go with Ranpo to get some job done. Unfortunately, he actually had to do some work today. Sighing, he shrugged off his coat, hanging it on the rack near the door. Kicking off his shoes, he called out to his lover.

“Atsushi? I’m home!”

He frowned on not hearing a reply, but then again, the boy must have been busy on his phones and have his headphones on or something. Sighing, he strolled into the kitchen, downing a glass of water. All he wanted now was a hot shower and some cuddles.

He reached the bathroom only to find it running. Knocking on the door, he leaned his ear on the sill.

“Atsushi?”

He heard a muffled “Hai?” from inside. Smiling, Dazai leaned against the door, crossing his arms.

“Aren’t you going to come out, Atsushi? Are you going to ignore me?”

An evil smirk grew on his face.

“I’ll be right there! I am not trying to ignore you! Dazai? I’ll be out in a minute! Please don’t be upset!”

Dazai ignored the platinum blonde’s requests and walked away, snickering to himself. An evil plan had found itself in the brunet’s mind.

Atsushi hurriedly flung his towel around his waist, stumbling out the washroom. The last thing he wanted was his darling being mad at him. He did not want to upset Dazai. He meant too much to Atsushi. Dazai was his saviour, mentor and lover. Every morning when he wakes up, the first thing he sees is the gorgeous man. That is more than he could ask for; to have such an amazing human being by his side.

He rushed to the hall to find Dazai on the couch, an arm strung over his face. He must have fallen asleep. A pit of sadness grew in Atsushi’s stomach. He felt guilty for making him wait for so long.

He grabbed a soft blanket from his cupboard and headed over to the pretty man. Spreading it open, he gently wrapped it around the sleeping beauty. Just as he was about to leave, he was pulled onto the couch.

“Gah!”

Atsushi now laid with his back on the cushion, with Dazai straddling him. A sadistic smirk stretched his lips as he began tickling the poor boy.

“AHAHAHA! STOP, STOP! AHAHAHAHAHAAHA!”

Dazai only grinned like a maniac and continued his cruel attack, loving the way Atsushi squirmed and shook under him. The soft and honest laughs made Dazai’s heart flutter. A warmth spread in his chest. He truly was a lucky an to have found such an angel.

Suddenly halting his ministrations, Dazai smiled softly at Atsushi.

Atsushi collected his breath before looking up at his assailant with an angry pout. It soon dissolved when he noticed the loving expression on Dazai’s face.

Dazai’s gaze flickered down Atsushi’s bare chest. Licking his lips, he slowly trailed his fingers along it, teasing and tickling at the same time.

Shivers ran down Atsushi’s spine. He did not know whether it was because of the lingering touches or the hungry gaze in Dazai’s eyes.

Leaning forward, Dazai kissed Atsushi’s neck, breathing along his jaw.

“Do you want to feel alive, Atsushi?”, Dazai breathed into his ear.

Atsushi’s breath hitched and he gulped.

“Please... make me feel alive.”

Dazai smirked, licking a stripe along Atsushi’s neck, making his eyes flutter closed.

“That’s what I like to hear, baby.”

“Aku, can I ask you a legitimate question?” You would inquire timidly, your voice meek and frail. “Of course.” He would murmur in response, the softness in his voice filling the suppressed silence in the room. Although the room had been swallowed in an impregnable, numbing darkness, both you and Akutugawa would lie awake, your bodies entwined in an intricate tangle. Furthermore, you had given up on sleeping hours ago, your conversation seemingly never ending. “Do you really love me? Do you really see a future with us?” Your voice was barely above a whisper, your cheeks turning crimson. You were thankful for the darkness in the room, for it hid your abashed facial expression. You knew you shouldn’t be asking this question. Out of the multitude of times he had reassured you that he loved you, you knew all too well that you were completely ridiculous for asking, and yet you still did. Why couldn’t you grasp the concept? Why couldn’t you just realize o that he really, truly did love you? “Y/N.” Aku would finally sigh, his voice disapproving yet understanding. He knew your struggles. He knew you all too well. And where he was far from perfect, he loved you greatly. And, quite frankly, since he met you he had became a better person and that’s all he ever wanted to do. You deserved nothing but the best. Constricting his arms tighter around your body, Aku would kiss your head for a few lingering moments. “If there is no you, there is no me. I plan to spend the end of my days with you. There is simply no other way. I love you more than I’ll ever be able to show you.” A ragged gasp would slip from your lips, your eyes slipping closed in elation. “Thank you.” You would breathe, your head nuzzling against the crook of his neck, relief trickling through your veins. “And I know you are probably feeling guilty because you asked, but please know I’ll tell you I’ll love you a million times if I have to. My heart is yours and yours only.” Finding your lips somewhere in the dark, he would silence your racing thoughts with a tender kiss to your lips. These late nights were nights you cherished the most.

Your body would involuntarily launch forward, your breathing shallow, your body covered in a sheen layer of sweat. You could feel your heart slamming against your ribs, yours hands clawing at your chest desperate for any relief you could find. “Shhh, it was just another nightmare, love. You’re safe.” Jumping as two arms pulled you back, you would remain tense even after Dazai would reach over and turn on the bedside lamp. Even though the light made things a little less alarming, you would still struggle to come back down to reality, your pounding heart being a reminder of that. “Breathe with me.” Grasping his hand in yours, Dazai would inhale slowly then exhale encouraging you to calm yourself. Where it was difficult to get you to breath, it was not impossible and Dazai was patient as he completed the breathing exercises with you. This was something you always loved about him; he never gave up on you. “It’s that damn green snake.” You would mutter, sitting up as you rubbed your temples. “Green snake?” Dazai would inquire sitting up with you as he rubbed your shoulders from behind. “Yeah. When I was younger and I was under a great deal of stress, I would have a dream that a never ending green snake would be slithering under my porch. I use to scare the crud out of my family screaming every night about it. Good to know I can carry on the good legend by scaring the bejesus out of my boyfriend.” Chuckling humorlessly, you would shake your head pinching the space between your eyes. Great. Why had you just told him this? Little did you know that Dazai was smirking behind you, his heart swelling with adoration. “Belladonna, I’m not entirely sure if this is coincidental or not, but I actually use to be a snake slayer of the green variety.” Grabbing a pillow you would turn to face him, smacking him gently in the face with it as you rolled your eyes.

“Shut up.”

“It’s true. I, Osamu Dazai, use to pride myself in being Yokohama’s number one green snake slayer. Which means, as of right now, you are with the safest person you could possibly be with.” Pulling you into a bone crushing hug, you wouldn’t be able to stifle your giggle as his lips pressed against the crown of your head. You wanted to be mad at him for mocking you, but you just couldn’t bring yourself to. Why did he have to be so damn charming? “But in all reality, Y/N. I will always protect you nightmare or reality. And when you lay your head over my heart to fall asleep every night, I hope you know that it beats for you and you only. These nightmares may be temporary, but know that my protectiveness over you is eternal.” Stroking your hair softly, your heart would slow back down to a steady pace, your breathing evening out. You knew all of this to be true, but hearing it would bring you the smallest shred of relief. How did Dazai somehow manage to make everything better?

“I know I come off as confident, I know I am powerful, but sometimes I truthfully feel a little insecure.” His words would be slow, his hand lazily stroking through your tangled locks. “Chuuya.” You would muse, your chest tight as you rested your chin on his bare chest, your eyes sad. Chuuya had never displayed this side of himself to you. Perhaps his mind was still hazy from the raging intercourse you had just engaged in, perhaps he was finally allowing his guard to tumble down around him. Either way, you were enjoying this side of him. Even if it did make you sad. “Chuuya. You are so handsome, truly debonair.” Raising your hand to run your fingertips down his cheek, he would twist his mouth in chagrin, his eyes wondering anywhere but your own. “Don’t be embarrassed. You know you are allowed to feel insecure, right?” Finally locking eyes with you, he would reach his own hand to run through your bangs, his eyes soft and gentle. “Y’know, it’s this misconception among genders that men aren’t allowed to feel insecure. That men are expected to lift their girl up and to be strong at all times. I’m telling you right now that that’s horse shit. Chuuya, you have every single right to feel this way and to embrace it. In fact, I want you to talk to me about it. I want to lift you up the same way you lift me up,” Propping himself up on his elbows, he would stare wide eyed at you struggling for the right words to say. Furthermore, he had never in a life had someone tell him this. His whole life, he was expected to be strong and dependable. His whole life, he was expected to be a leader before he could even fully grasp his powers himself. Never had he let his guard down this way, and had someone tell him that it was okay to be soft. Where it was something he didn’t want to get himself in the habit of feeling, it felt nice to know that his thoughts were safe with you. “You are amazing, you know that? I mean, seriously, Y/N.” Sitting up completely he would ogle at you, his eyes sparkling with wonder. “And you are beautiful. And intelligent. And strong. Everything about you. Those eyes, that nose, that smile, all of you. It is all perfect.” Giving you a chaste kiss on the lips, your eyes would widen before closing slowly, melting into the passionate kiss. “Just don’t forget who’s the boss after you’re done showering me with compliments.” Chuuya would joke, his laughter gentle. “Oh, hush, you gorgeous, ravishing man.”

His careful eyes would drink in your every move. Trembling as the rain began to pour harder against the windows, jumping at the smallest rumbles of thunder, wincing whenever the lightening strike was particularly bright; you were afraid. Very afraid. It was odd, seeing you in this light. It was odd seeing you trying to conceal your feelings when typically you were an open book. Were you embarrassed? Perhaps, you didn’t want Atsushi to know. Perhaps, you didn’t normally tell people this, but honestly did you really think he’d care? “Atsushi, you’re so deep in thought.” You would muse, poking at his cheek playfully. “I can always tell when you’re thinking hard because you furrow your eyebrows and you purse your lips.” Brushing your fingertips over his lips, you would smile up at him as he nuzzled his nose against yours giving you an Eskimo kiss. “I was just thinking the same thing about you, Y/N.” Atsushi would say a little sheepishly, taking in your baffled expression carefully. “You don’t like storms do you?” Punctuating his inquiry perfectly, a loud crack of thunder would send you trembling under his arm, clutching onto him tighter than you were before. “I guess I’m busted.” You would sigh, looking up at him with red cheeks. “You have nothing to be embarrassed about, you know that, right? Your feelings are understandable, storms can be destructive and alarming.” Stroking his fingers through your hair with one hand, he would rub circles into your back with the other knowing that this was what typically calmed you down when you were anxious. “I know I don’t have the ability to control the elements, but I do have the ability to make you feel safe and I will always make sure I’m doing everything I can to make sure that you feel safe whenever you’re with me. I promise you that.” Kissing the top of your head, you would bury yourself deep in his chest settling into his warm embrace. “As long as your arms are around me, Atsushi, I will always feel safe.”

A - Attribute: What brought on this side of them? What made them suddenly click?

It was most likely the moment he knew that he could trust his darling. He had asked them to do something for him, and even with his odd behaviour they still completed the task without question...

B - Blood: If they're extreme, how messy are they willing to get?

If I'm being totally honest with you, Dazai would much rather keep his hands clean but he will play dirty. Killing someone off, to him at least, should be a bit easier with simple poison, rather then to just hunt them down and stab them to death. Nah, he has better things to do! He will enjoy the hunt though, but when he catches his rival, they are done for.

C - Cope: Do they try to deal with this jelaousy sooner so that they don't lash out?

I imagine that when Dazai gets jelaous, he becomes incredibly cold. His gaze is no longer warm and playful, but instead it is filled with absolute rage. And on his face is no longer that carefree smile his s/o is so used to seeing, but instead it's a smile full of malice and ill intent. He will try not to take out his anger on his s/o, just as long as they behave that is. One wrong move, and Dazai will be forced to be just a little bit more strict...

D - Death: Do they feel any sorrow for their victims at all?

The answer is a stone cold no. He feels no remorse for the vile pigs that try to take his precious darling away from him. They got what they deserved in the end.

E - Earnest: Are they intense?

Dazai is the very definition of tense, but he is too unpredictable when it comes to it. One moment he is the flirty, cheerful guy that everyone adores, while the next moment he might as well have a knife pressed against his darlings little throat.

F - Fight: How would they feel if you fought back against them?

Dazai would find this amusing, adorable even. Oh, his little princess thinks that she can get away from him? Two can play that game sweetheart~. He hates disobedience but damn does he love a fun little game of cat and mouse!

G - Game: How much would they enjoy watching you run and have a fearfulexpression?

Dazai is a sadist, but if his darling is well behaved he will treat them nicely and he only wants them to be happy. But, Dazai makes it crystal clear that he is the dominant one and if s/o ever steps out of line... Well, he will definetly make them scream in more ways then one.

H - Hell: What would be your worst expirience with them?

Honestly, every time he's pissed is absolutely horrible. There isn't a single worst time because after each and every session he is just as brutal as ever. It's just smarter to avoid this side of his altogether, but it's just impossible to cometely avoid it...

I - Iron: How emotionally stable would you be throught the events that unfold?

If we're talking about Port Mafia! Dazai, he is then a lot more twisted, cruel and maybe even a little insane. ADA! Dazai though has his mind intact. Even when he is at his worst, Dazai is still completely sane and he is fully aware of what he is doing. He's aware of the pain he is causing, he is aware that he is hurting other people, but that just doesn't matter.

J - Jet: How fast would it happen for them to go yandere?

Faster then he would like to admit. He first finds his darling to be absolutely adorable but over time it has become painful for him to be separated from his little belladonna. He's amazed at how another human being was able to pique his interest for so long, and because of that he becomes a full blown yandere rather quickly.

K - Kill: Would they hurt anyone to get you?

Of course he would! And his techniques of doing so always vary, so better be careful with him! He gets a real kick out of messing with his victims as well so things can go out of hand at times...

L - Lonely: How much loneliness would they feel if you two were apart?

He can be so dramatic when it comes to this, it's almost even funny. He'll complain non stop to Kunikida, Atsushi and everyone else in the agency of just how much he misses his darling, how his poor heart will stop beating if he is separated from her for too long...! But one thing is for sure, the moment Dazai sees his s/o again, they better be prepared for cuddles that go on for hours!

M - Might: How agressive would they be towards you?

Ah, he can be really damn scary and harsh, but only when he needs to be. He would prefer that his s/o learns right from the get go to behave, but a single mistep is enough for Dazai to snap.

N - Next: Would they ever move on after you?

He wouldn't be able to, simple as that. His s/o is his raison d'etre, his ikigai, his soulmate. Dazai has waited far too long for his prayers to be answered, and with s/o by his side things just feel right. He is not alone and he can love and be loved.

O - Opression: How many rights would they take away from you?

Quite a lot actually. Even if his darling is always perfect, even if his darling obeys every single one of his wishes, they shall still lose all of their freedom and conections with the outside world. They don't need that anyway, not when they have Dazai.

P - Prize: Would they conzider this a game?

He would at the beggining, but later on he just wants his darling to just be his and he will put an end to this little game once and for all.

Q - Quality: Would they be secretive or flashy about what they do?

He's subtle, he'd rather avoid trouble. He does love it when other people notice the bruises and hickeys on s/o's neck though, but that's as far as he's willing to go.

R - Rain: Would they keep you trapped inside forever?

Yes. The only time when s/o is allowed to go out though is when Dazai takes them out on a date or a little walk. Nothing else is needed, especially if they can just enjoy the comfort of home!

S - Stalker: Would they stalk you? How intense would it go?

Heck yes. Dazai is a pretty big stalker, but he doesn't exactly have the time to always follow his s/o around. If the oppurtunity shows up he will take it, but he has just hidden all sorts of cameras and recording devices in s/o's house, clothes, phone...

T - Turmoil: Would they force you to team up with them?

Depends on the task. If it's too dangerous that it is out of the question, but he'll be more then happy to let his s/o help him when it comes to paperwork and such!

U - Usage: Would they use you to get what they desire?

Well, considering that his s/o is the only thing he truly desires, then no he would not.

V - Version: Would they do anything diffirent from the classic yandere?

Hmm, well considering that he has more conections then your average yandere, most likely! The guy is shady as Hell, but he knows even shadier people who owe his massive debts and favours...

W - Wild card: A random yandere headcanon.

He loves seeing his s/o in cute costumes, but what he loves the most is seeing them in cat ears. He just finds it adorable and sexy at the same time, you know?

X - Xenophobia: How much would they get angry from their jelaousy?

Dazai's anger is bitter and cold, and whenever he feels jelaous he is quick to become touchy. He'll make out with his s/o right in the middle of the street if it's needed, just as long as his point gets across.

Y - Yandere: How many crimes would they commit?

Quite a lot, but they would all be really well covered. No one would know about them, not even the ADA.

hiiii! thanks for the ask. your choice of characters is really nice! i'll try my best to lay out my opinions here, but i don't think i'll be able to give you some for yosana bcs i am not that confident with my opinions on her ;;; anyways, i'll go with sigma first~

 • Why I like them 

Sigma is simply not unlikable. It’s just the vibes he gives when he is in his own habitat (e.g. the casinio), he really was so confident there and I just… I’m weak for that kind of vibe. And also, his duality, like despite looking confident, he’s an anxious and desperate little thing. But most importantly, his sense of morality. I don’t know, he crosses the boundaries of the popular argument of nurture vs nature. Even when he was dumped into the world without any family or ties or purpose, it looks like he intuitively knows that his purpose is not bound for killing (remember: he didn’t ever want to stab Taneda-sensei. He was only driven by DoA’s mission.) There might be underlying reasons why, and honestly, I’m still looming over it through headcanons and theories (but for now I am focusing on Nikolai and Fyodor, so Sigma baby have to wait). Sigma just wants something that would define him, or make him feel like he belong. Hence, why he was so desperate to protect the casino because his identity is tied to it. If he loses it, what would he be? Of course, Fyodor nails it on the part that he knows what Sigma wanted – a home and a purpose. Also, he’s really kind to his customers to a point that he gives them a second chance in every game by sabotaging the game himself, lol. (And memorizing his clients’ numbers and needs.) That’s some high level of service right there. So yeah, he’s just overall precious. 

 • Why I don’t 

Who doesn’t like Sigma, let’s talk. Okay, honestly, I don’t think he is ever culpable for not being able to get out of Decay of Angels. The strong reason would be because it’s the only place that provided him home, security, safety, and identity. He’s deeply tied to the organization because of that. And yes, because he experiences what it feels like to be a stray, and to stay in prisons, and he doesn’t ever want to go back there. So yes, I don’t have any reasons why I don’t like him. For me, there’s simply not any. 

 • Favorite episode (scene if movie) 

Since we still don’t have Season 4 yet, so I’m going substitute manga panel/s for it. Though idk why I can't insert photos when answering this ask. Is there a new Tumblr update for the features? I think there was, but anyways, I'll just going to verbalize it. Most of my favorite manga panels of him are those where he's the most vulnerable, like that time he gave up in front of Atsushi and that one where he slipped off Atsushi's grip. It makes me want to hug him ;;; 

 • Favorite season/movie 

I’ll just substitute this is favorite arc in the manga. Of course, the current Decay of Angels arc where he appears the most. 

 • Favorite Line 

Sigma has said some lines that really resonates so much, but I will just cite one that sticks out to me. 

 “Hey, somebody tell me, can’t an ordinary man be forgiven for wanting to protect what’s important to him?” 

 • Favorite outfit 

The one he’s wearing, of course! Sigma’s character design is really interesting. The fact that he’s wearing heels and earrings is so groundbreaking. And also, Harukawa-san snapped when they made him have a galactic design in the interior of his coat. And his turtleneck! I really love the fact that he wears a turtleneck underneath, because strip him off other layers and leave him in that turtleneck and slacks, imagine the power he would have. I think it won’t be a stretch to say that Sigma is one of the characters in BSD with Best Character Design. 

 • OTP 

I know GogSig is a known rarepair with Sigma involved, and yes, I have written it at some point – mind you, it’s the fic with my highest word count – but I’m not totally knee-deep in the ship. But I have encountered a rarepair fic before of Chuuya x Sigma, and when it flashed in my mind the potentials of that ship, I do think it’s nice! Kinda has the same vibes with ChuuAtsu, hence why I’m here for it. 

 • Brotp 

I wanted to put Sigma x Atsu in OTP, but I realize I see them more as siblings/best of friends. I don’t know if that counts as Brotp. 

 • Headcanon 

Not much, but I hc Sigma as asexual and nonbinary. And also, I don’t think he’s scared of insects.

• Unpopular opinion 

People sometimes call him Fyodor's OC but I don't really think that's the case. Maybe, my point here is un-improved and I must have totally missed other information in the manga (so correct me if I did) but I do think that Sigma isn’t made by Fyodor. He woke up in a dessert, right? Three years ago (as of documented so there's a possibility of something before three years ago.) But the Decay of Angels only obtained a page in consequent to the happenings of Sunday Tragedy, and the events all rolled over quickly from the moment ADA was framed. (And the casino was made 8 days prior to Skyfall.) Besides, Fyodor fetched him up from a prison which might indicate that Fyodor must have only heard of him, and that there might be someone else who made him. But is it actually canon that Fyodor admitted to making him or I totally have forgotten that part? My memory is so wack sometimes, I’m sorry. And also if people only dubbed him as Fyodor's OC as a joke, forgive me for not understanding ;;; 

• A wish 

I wish Sigma will be with ADA at the end. He just suits to be there, and since BSD has this way to perpetuating patterns like Oda adopted orphans and influenced Dazai by taking in and helping Atsushi, so it is my own wish that such would also influence Atsushi to take in Sigma. Though he already basically had done it by initiating to recruit Kyouka into ADA, but can Sigma be the other one? Please. 

• An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen 

That Sigma would die when he would touch Fyodor to extract information from him. I think it’s pretty much hinted that Fyodor can control his deadly ability but, like, if he knows that Sigma is getting used by Nikolai just to know about his ability, it’s scary for me to think that he would kill Sigma upon the moment of contact. Well, it’s only a theory, so I desperately hope there are other ways to know about Fyodor’s ability without having to possibly kill Sigma in the process. He deserves a character arc with a happy ending! 

 • 5 words to best describe them 

 Precious, soft, desperate, must protect 

• My nickname for them 

I like calling him “Sigma baby~” in a way to indicate that he’s a baby. 

 As for Yosano, like what I said, I am not so confident with my opinions of her ;;; except that I DO LIKE HER and I ship her with Kouyou.

The grey-haired boy rolls his eyes. “Don’t spread lies, Satan.”

As Dazai gasps in mock hurt, Atsushi lets his eyes wander to the kid sleeping on the couch.

Dazai decided that it was warm enough to go to the park with the kids. How could have he known that those little assholes would actually run off? He sure didn’t! God, he has to find them before their mother picks them up!

But he literally can’t find them anywhere. They couldn’t have run off that far, could they? They are tiny with short legs. They shouldn’t be able to run far away. So, they had to be somewhere in the area.

“Hey, have you seen two kids? One of them has brown…”

“Miss? Miss, have you seen those kids…”

“Ah, wait! Did you see any one of those two kids…”

Three hours later he still hasn’t found them.

He fucked up.

There’s no other way, he’ll have to call Chuuya to help him search and the mother to inform her that he lost her kids. God, this is all his fault. He should have just told her the truth. Now she’s going to be mad and the kids might be injured with no one to help them.

Atsushi is going to be so disappointed in him.

A. April 22 of 2017!!! I recently celebrated my first year anniversary and it was nice uwu

Q. Which starter sword did you pick? What is he doing now?

A. Kashuu Kiyomitsu!!! Um, well, he’s just there... waiting for his kiwame... Actually uwu;; I used him for a recent VOT thinking exp accumulates and carries over to kiwame! Did that to him because he’s the only one I wouldn’t get angry at haha

Q. Who is the first among your swords to reach the maximum level? What do you think of him

A. If i remember correctly, it is Hotarumaru!!! He arrived pretty early but I’m sure he got to 99 hella quick because of VOT AHHAHAA I love him!! He’s relatively fast for an ootachi + he’s cute!!!

Q. Who do you have in each of your squads, and how do you use them? If you haven’t unlocked all four teams yet, briefly describe how you plan to organize them.

A. First squad varies depending on event! (WTE is either all kiwame or newbies, VOT is tachi + ootachi; if it isn’t battle regiment?? all other squads are on expedition!) Currently: Second squad is 97 akita, 99 tarou, 99 micchan, 24 tomoe (extra haha a...) 97 yagen (for the naginata expedition!), third squad is for yari expedition, with 55 ote, 99 mutsu, 35 (extra) fudou (he levelled up by sheer force of expedition HAHAHAH) 99 ishi, fourth squad is 99 kashuu, 99 sayo, 99 kousetsu, 53 nihongou

if it’s battle regiment, it’s either all kiwame team again for first squad then the rest goes on exp. if not, first team is night battle, then tachi team, then uchi team.

Q. Without considering the performance of the swords, which type of sword do you prefer?

A. I love tantous!! They’re so cute huhu I also love my naginatas!!

A. i this is a lot ahahhaa um i love kashuu’s art style and everything about him. he’s so cute and im a sucker for his voice!!! i love my baby gokotai imma protecc him. I LOVE FUDOU i love his drunk self but i never knew i could love him more until he kiwame-d! i love horikawa so much i would give him all the love ;; I LOVE KANE-SAN he’s so handsome aaaaa and i like idiots like him huhu MONOYOSHI he’s so pretty imma cry for his kiwame ;;;;; mICCHAAAN i love his voice and his mom-ness. i love tsuru’s art so much!!! also such a playful boy ;;;; I LOVE HOTARUMARU SO MUCH bb rest well ;; IWAIWA i luv him so much ainsaksnaks and and otegine is slowly having a spot bcos i always hear him for expedition ahahhaha...

Q. Are there any pairings that you like? If there is, please list them.

A. Kashuu and Yasu!! I love these two!! KaneHori but also KashuuHori owo I love MikaKogi and MikaTsuru uwu MitsuKara!!! I also love TsuruKara hehe and IwaSouza!! (haha zoku’s tiny moment of them...) AND YAMABUSHIXJUZU BOI U CANT CONVINCE ME THAT THEYRE NOT CUTE and sweats.... a lot of tachis x saniwa.... .////.

Q. Is your Citadel an employee-friendly Citadel or a black-hearted Citadel that works your swords to the bones?

A. I- ;; maybe black-hearted? I only repair swords when they get to red for resource + instant token purposes (unless im not gonna use them for a long time) I do only work with gold troops because i think they deserve gold troops uwu;;; Or work to the bones mean fatigue?? I never let them out non-sakura fubuki (if you lose the flowers, you get to be leader!)

Q. Have you ever done anything weird to your swords?

A. I what?? 

Q. Have you ever broken a sword? What happened, and who did you break?

A. I’ve mentioned this a lot but I’ll say it again haha I broke Gokotai on a run on WTE Map 4?? I was at school (whoops) and I was playing during a seatwork?? since it only needed clicking. When I looked at the screen, Gokotai broke!! I didnt even hear his line! I thought he had an omamori but it turned out that he was the only one without it! I was horrified as he was already 90+ (ready to be sent out for kiwame! so thankfully not yet a kiwame) and i was near in tears! I got another gokotai and on the same day i level-ed him to 30?? ye. ahaha-

Q. Who looses troops the most in your Citadel? And who is the most skilled at making troops?

A. I think it’s Daihannya? And it’s Kousetsu! Or, well I believe he makes good troops...

Q. Have you ever done something with all your might in order to get a particular sword? Please describe what you did and the results.

A. Good story: I used up all my ofudas and resources were almost less than a 100k?? and it was night time already!!! God i needed to sleep. then tomoe came home!!! Juzu too!!! God I ran thru 7-4 long route so many times i think i 99-ed a set of tantous + almost another set of them before i got him uwu;;

Bad story: same thing and I was down to 50k??? yep i think that was it. koryuu still didnt come home. ;;

Q. Are you superstitious? (wwww)

A. I believe that Nakigitsune brings swords home as he brought Juzu home (and he brought Juzu home as well for my sis! Also Shizukagata for her!) Also back when I sucked at VOT, I believe that screaming beads repeatedly while pumping my fists helps (no it doesnt but well im desperate for an ichigo)

Q. What made you join the TKRB fandom in the beginning? How about now?

A. I saw fanarts of it from an artist i love and im like WHAT IS THIS?? at first it was only the game and i heard it was pc + jap only so i gave up. when hanamaru came out, i watched and got hooked!!! i then started playing. i stay for the art + i actually enjoy the mindlessness of this game. perfect for someone with bad attention span like me ^^;;

Q. What do you think of the current maps? Which map is good for training/grinding, which maps do you get lost in the most, which map do you want to burn?

A. They’re ok now that they updated the less clicking thing! I love 7-4, long route for my tantous + 5-4 for my tachis. I get lost a lot in 7-1??? and this map in 6... ID BURN 7-2 AND 7-3 WOW I LOST A LOT OF RESOURCES FOR THE DAMN REPAIR

Q. Are there any game systems or improvements that you hope DMM will implement?

A. I would mention the less clicking but they already improved that! Honestly the recent updates were real nice! Maybe something like auto play? Like it would only prompt you to click if there is an injured sword or cant scout? haha less clicking again ^^;;;

Q. If DMM cooperates on an event with another game/anime/etc., what would you like to see?

A. Since this is about swords, I kinda want something like FFXV bcos noctis and his swords... Or final fantasy in general!! Actually I also want Natsume Yuujinchou hahahaha.. and sanrio... ah ahaha.

Q. Have you ever spent money playing TKRB? Is so, how much? If not, do you plan to?

A. sweats... I’ve bought two sword slot expansion and two troop slot expansion (check the store for price!) Outside the game, I’ve bought some mostly Kashuu merch because he’s def my favorite!

Q. Is there any merchandise that you would like to buy or see?

A. Mini-sword keychains? haha or maybe a music box?

Q. Have you done any fanwork? If so, what?

A. I’ve written some short oneshots! It’s either here or on quidumps

Q. What do you think you are like as a Saniwa?

A. I think I’m the type who spoils them a lot (esp the tantous and anmitsu uwu) and plays along with Tsuru’s pranks! Maybe doting is the word? Ah some swords might not be ok with it but i might be cuddly! I imagine hugging ishikirimaru a lot bcos he looks soft ;w; ishipapa!!!! warm uwu also i feel like ill be close with micchan! i dont think ill get along with mika tho HAHAHA JIJI!!!! 

Q. If the government asked you to choose a sword to kill yourself with in terms of emergency, who would you pick?

A. hm... I would say it’s Kashuu because he knows me the most and he is the most mature among everyone. If it’s going to be a tantou, I would say someone like Atsushi because he looks strong emotionally. Emotionally, I would also say Kiwame!Fudou as I think he finally understands what it means to be a mamorigatana. (not imano... ill break his heart ;;)

Q. The government has asked you to write a report: how would you describe the situation in your Citadel?

A. Everything is under control! We’re fighting off the Retrograding Army quite well! Horikawa has Kane-san under control!!!

Q. What do you think of the Retrograding Army?

A. maybe if they were cuter... ah no haha. I wish they would tell us why theyre changing history >< And maybe stop for some time??

a couple comments on the fandom ao3 - the proportion of dazai/chuuya fics is honestly astonishing. I’m sure they have more interaction than this in the manga, but karmagisa has roughly the same, if not lesser (I think? Been some time since I checked the AC AO3 relationship rankings, because all it does is make me sad over the lack of f/f, but that’s smth I’m working on fixing personally) proportions. And Karma and Nagisa get way more screen time together and much more detail on their relationship. idk man, whatever floats your boat and if it’s popular, it’s popular. I’m really into it too

I mean, I also like dazai/kunikida a lot too and it was my first ship for this show, but kunikida hasn’t had as much time to shine this season - many of the characters haven’t, but dazai, ever the eternal puppet master and one of the central focuses, usually gets a lot. I certainly don’t mind, he is the favorite son.

still don’t understand why akutagawa/Atsushi is such a thing, but ofc the end of s2 is hinting at redemption of a sorts for akutagawa and he’s getting better, and I’m sure that’s shown even more in the manga. tbh akutagawa is such an incredibly self-destructive, volatile, poor-tempered guy that while that’s a ship I could get behind, it would require a ton of work, and that’s work I’d prefer the show to be doing instead me headcanoning my way into things making sense (looks at the rarepairs I have cobbled together out of headcanon and far-reaching analysis. it’s work, yall). Development. It would be good. for now, I definitely love lucy/Atsushi - I think they’d be good for each other, and she’s got a skewed moral compass too, but she seems a little more amenable to changing that.

Steinbeck/lovecraft is a cute friendship, even if I can’t stop thinking the phrase “tentacle porn,” over and over, in my head. I hate it a whole lot. I’m so done with myself tbh, too many tentacle jokes in AC fandom RIP. Lovecraft is really cool, he’s such a mystery but I think that’s a good narrative choice that the writers made, and I love that monster aesthetic even though I have never once in my life read any of Lovecraft’s works.

Ranpo is really fascinating as always. I’m not entirely sure of his thought processes, but I understand where he’s going with the, “but then I’d be normal.” (Paraphrasing because I don’t remember the exact words.) because - and I suspected this was the reason from the start - if he isn’t gifted, then his abilities are only human, can make mistakes and be fallible and he’d be held responsible for it. I get that. It’s hard. I sympathise with him. And I continue to love his closed-eyes smiling expression and his spiky hair, the hair is just cool. Also, poe/ranpo seems cute.

I was going to say I have no words for how much i adored the double black episode, but I’m writing a whole lot of words now, so I guess that’s a lie. I really adored it. I love ships that are all rivalry and hatred and an unwilling magnetism that attracts them to each other (okay yall could already tell but shush). I will probably rewatch the episode soon. And probably write a couple snippets of fic, but won’t really do anything until later because I have a lot of other writing to attend to ah the moment. But oh my God, Dark Era Dazai (still can’t believe Chuuya was his partner and didn’t appear even once in the Dark Era episodes!) and his partner fucking shit up and insulting each other and terrifying all their enemies and making fun of each other all the time, barely able to tolerate each other but inexplicably tied together. I love it, okay. I want to write so much about it.

Francis was never a character I liked, but he at least amused me sometimes, so props to anything that can make me laugh or smile.

Akutagawa is a mess.

Atsushi playing big brother / mentor to Kyouka gives me life

I am a fucking baby I felt so many overwhelming emotions when Dazai walked over to Akutagawa and said, “you’ve become strong.” (Not paraphrased!) I’m so - oh my god.

Akutagawa try to gain some semblance of mental stability. Maybe read a self help book, take an anger management class. thx, love u bb

Omg the Poe episode I forgot how much I loved the unreliable narrator trope in fiction. Mainly because the reasons for the narrator being unreliable turned out to be shitty and cliche most of the time but I still love it.

The detectives are precious and adorable. All of them. The party at the end was so great my heart was like!!!!! :D

honestly, aku’s childhood probably had no good highlights to it. but if u really wanted to think of something, then we have two things to say on it!!

🌙 that was when his interest in calligraphy was born!! he didn’t know how to read or write back then but he could still appreciate store signs written in beautiful fonts, and he started wishing he could write like that someday.

🌙 he used to use rashomon to make harmless things like flowers and animals, especially to gin--who thought it was all really cool. he always felt happy around his sister, so the only memories he treasure from his childhood are the ones he’s with her.

🌙 aku’s childhood sucked ass tbh there’s probably nothing good about it if we’re being realistic!! which is unfortunate because this boy only deserves good things............. i’m so sad.

as for hogwarts houses, it’s time for me, a huge hp nerd, to shine!!!!

🌙 in gryffindor, we have atsushi--who swears he’s a hufflepuff but is too brave for his own good--and chuuya, who shows some slytherin traits but not enough for him to belong to it.

🌙 in ravenclaw, i’d say we have kunikida and ranpo, two huge nerds. kunikida reminds me of That One Kid that reminds the teacher they sent homework even though they forgot, and ranpo is just too smart to belong anywhere else.

🌙 in hufflepuff, there’s the beautiful cinnamon roll too good for this world too pure kenji and tanizaki, who also shows traits of a gryffindor but is too mild, so he ended up in hufflepuff (which is mod aku’s house!).

🌙 in slytherin--that’s mod ryuu’s house--we have our local problematic faves, dazai and akutagawa. dazai is intelligent, much like a ravenclaw, but he uses his knowledge to further his goals and other needs that only have meaning to himself, and he’s not above using others for that. akutagawa is one angsty emo fuck and i can’t see him in any other house except slytherin tbh it just fits him.
