“What’s this really about, Tohru?” Kyo turned to her properly with a raised brow. “You’ve never been that interested in learning before; why the sudden request?”

He expected her to argue with him, claiming that she was definitely interested. Instead she blushed, looking at her hands with the cutest shy smile he’d seen ever. 

“Well…me and Kisa were watching this new anime and…”

“Knew it.” Kyo sighed, earning a light swat from her hand towel. “You two and your anime shows.”

“Hush! It was a good move too! The main character was like- whoop and swish! The main bad guy went- zoom! It was really cool!” She was so animated, her hands in fists as she remembered the show. Kyo had to fight down the laughs as she looked up at him with sparkling eyes. “I know I can’t do anything like that, but just having the ability to do something similar…that would be amazing! So could you teach me, Kyo? Please?”

He really should say no, stand by his original answer. This could only end in disaster. Yet looking into those big brown eyes, he felt any resistance melt away.

“Alright.” He gave in, smiling when she whooped, hugging him in glee. “But just so you know- I’m not gonna go easy on you.”

That was a lie and they both knew it.

“The first thing we’re doing is a test.” Kyo nodded, standing tall before his ‘student.’ “I need to see where you’re at before I show you a move. The goal is to take me down. Are you ready?”

Tohru nodded, eyes bright. “Ready as I’ll ever be!”

“Right. Show me what you can do. Ready? Go!” Kyo nodded, standing firm. His wife let out a battle cry before running up to him, taking a swing-

“I completely missed!” She yelped.

“So I saw.” He nodded, fighting down a grin. “Come on, don’t give up now.”

Tohru nodded, trying again. Another battle cry, another run and swing, another miss. This time Kyo had to step aside. “You’re closer. Come on- don’t hold back on me, Honda!”

“Oh, you’re gonna get it now!” She nodded, shaking off the miss. Instead of charging forward this time, she watched him, considering. Then she smiled, getting ready to strike once more. “Here I come!” She cried as she ran forward.

“Announcing your move isn’t gonna help in the long run.” He sidestepped, evading her attack. “You gotta be more subtle- whoa!”

Arms came around his neck from behind as Tohru jumped on his back, wrapping her legs around his torso. “Gotcha!” She cheered through her giggles, pride in her voice.

“Heh, sure did.” Kyo couldn’t hold back the grin as he hoisted her legs, supporting her. “Now, what are you going to do-ahehehe! Heehhehy, hahahahng on!” His voice broke into laughter when her fingers found his sides, wiggling gently. “Thihhiihs isn’t part of the trahhahaining!”

“Sure it is! The goal is to take you down, right?” She giggled against his neck, hanging on when he tried to gently pry her off. “This seems to be working quite well!”

“Ahehhehhee! Yohohoohohu snehehahahahak! This is chehahahhahahating!” Kyo jerked when her fingers wormed into his armpits, nearly taking a fall as new waves of ticklishness spread along his nerves. Shaking her off did nothing, and trying to squeeze her hands out was only in vain. He could only shuffle run about, unable to stay still. “Tohohohoohoohruhuhuhuhuhu!”

“Hehe, you’re so cute, Kyo!” She leaned in and pressed a kiss against his cheek before her hands shot down to his belly, making him squeak. “Take that!”

“AHHH AHEHHAHAHHAHAHAHA!” Kyo collapsed to his knees, all fight drained from him as his worst spot was tickled. “NOOHOHOHOHOHO! TOOHOHOOHOHRUUHUHUHU PLEHHAHHAHAHAHSE!”

“Please what?” She teased, climbing off his back but staying close as her fingers scribbled along his belly. “Please keep tickling you?”

“YOHOOHOHOHU KNOHOOHOHW WHAHAHAT I MEHAHHAHHAN!”

“Hm…” She hummed in thought.

“TOHOOHOHOHORU!”

“Hehe, okay okay.” She giggled, finally pulling back her hands and watching Kyo collapse, gasping for air. “Did I pass?”

“Eheh…hehehe…hehe…” Kyo groaned, giving her a halfhearted glare that dissolved into a weary smile upon seeing her face. “Fine, fine…you pass.”

“Yay!” Tohru cheered, doing a little happy dance while clapping. Kyo chuckled at the sight, his heart filling with love for her all over. “I knew I could do it!”

“Sure, but see…there’s one thing you forgot about, Tohru.” Kyo leaned up watching her expression grow curious. “When you take someone down, you better be ready to run!” Without any warning, he wrapped his arms around her, bringing his wife into his chest as he ran his fingers up and down her ribs, earning a variety of adorable squeaks and squeals.

“AH! Ahehahahahhahhahaha! Khehehehehehyohohohohohou!”

“This is still part of training! Now you know how to take someone down.” Kyo grinned, relishing in her pretty laughter. “Show me what you’re gonna do when the tickle monster takes you hostage!”

hey!

so i really havent used tumblr before really so im not sure if this is the best place for what im doing but regardless im posting it here

~welcome to my blog~

the purpose is to document my life as a whole but its also my senior year so even more reason to record it!

this blog will be my safe space to spill anything, the good and the bad, of my upcoming life. in all honesty im not sure how well ill keep up with posts or how much effort ill end up putting into them but i will try to update at least once a week for sure.

ok so now onto me :)

hello again! im rose, i use he/they pronouns and i am 17. for anyone wonder, which i dont know why but i guess i can just state it to get it out of the way, im a cis queer guy. i use queer as my label because i very much dislike labels for myself lmao. im attracted to men way more often than not but if the right person for me isnt a guy the im not going to let gender/sex get in the way of love and im not sure pansexual really fits the way i feel. queerness ill say is a part of me but not something i identify with as much as i did in middle school. ill make a separate post about this perhaps. (ill mention that my name isnt actually rose irl and its just my pen name for the blog. i have no reason to be secretive really besides to hide my identity from friends, family and people who think they might know me, especially with the topics i might write about, but also i didnt put too much effort into disconnection rose and myself so if youre one of my irl friends, hi :p ) i am a high school student, but i am mostly taking college classes at a community college. im a photo major! photography is a recent thing that i started basically the same time i started college. i sorta took a leap into photo classes and decided that i might as well major in it since ive always been a creative person and since my high school was paying for my tuition. honestly college has been really fun but its school and sometimes i get burnt out really easily which sucks. ill probably talk about this more some other time. i havent really decided on a style of photography that i prefer yet but this fall ill start a portraiture lighting class as well as a color theory class, both im really excited for.

recently ive found myself changing or perhaps growing into a more typical "teenager" recently. this growth is a drastic change from who i was as a kid and that sort of scares me but i think i like the idea of who i can become. i started taking an interest in cars which sort of came out of know where. it might be because i got my license last december and have been driving a lot more but its also rooted in my ex too. (at the begging of this summer i got into a relationship with this guy who was my first everything, and we also ended it in july which hurt hella but again this is a topic for another post later) he was a total car guy and it was something we were bonding over. he would teach/talk about cars and i listened and started to take an actual interest. we went to a few car shows and it was honestly a prefect date/hangout for us because he liked cars of course but i also got to bring my camera and take photos. definitely something i miss doing. my first car was a 2004 honda pilot. it was a manual and i tried learning how to drive it and i got the gist but ended up selling it and getting an automatic 2006 honda pilot lol. this car ive had since february and its lowkey dying now which pisses me. my grandpa was the one who ended up buying it for me which i appreciate very much dont get me wrong but he bought it off these sketchy guys and didnt get it checked out right away for any problems and now im paying extra money in repairs. currently im trying to save for something more "extra" like a mustang or a bmw or honestly an older honda like a prelude or accord, though on my salary as a host in a small restaurant i have barely $4.5k saved and i started work about the same time i got the 06 pilot. i know these cars are a bit on the pricey side but im giving myself till new years to save for something and if i dont find anything by then, ill keep my money in savings for college after i graduate. (that is with the hopes my 06 pilot lasts me through that long :,) )

so yeah. i work as a host at a restaurant. its my first job and i honestly really like it. i get paid $16.50 an hour and i get tipped out by the waitresses on top of that. on average i make about $500 in a pay period which is two weeks. i wish i had more hours but also i dont. i usually use work as an excuse to procrastinate or completely ignore school work which is really self destructive because i convince myself that im productive but in reality i need to be more focused on school. my work ethic is pretty good though i think. i always say yes if someone needs a cover or if i need to come in ealry/on a day off. after the break up i took a bunch of extra shifts and started taking caterings for longer hours and to keep me busy. in the past 2 pay periods i clocked about 50 hours each and made $850 each. this has again been really nice for savings but not for my summer classes. this pay period i had a double catering and i should clock in about 40 ish hours. ill have one more pay period after this one before i will talk to my manager about scheduling me only friday-sunday and see about scheduling me caterings more rather than hosting since i make more that way. theyre pretty good about accommodating hours/days which is really cool but my manager always complains. i feel bad but also i really shouldnt because i need to do better in school first and i already do so much more than what i get paid for honestly so she really doesnt have any reason to say anything. (especially since we just hired 3 new girls after the summer hires left) all my coworkers love me but also everyone shit talks eachother behind their backs so i always wonder if they say anything about me lol. if they are then they should put that energy somewhere else because how are you guys gonna shit talk a 17 year old when you all are 25+???

my music taste is the opposite in regards to changing drastically. i find myself returning to the music i grew up with and even expanding with similar artists. for a quick family overview my step dad who raised me since i was three was/is a tattoo artist and very much in the punk scene. my mom was in the artistic performance and alternative scene. both these adults raised a very punk baby with all the classics and now like i said, after not really interested or listening to music often for awhile, im back to my roots. this is very comforting however when me and my ex were dating he was a big influence in the reintroduction. so do i corrilate some music to him? yes. does it hurt? im not sure. its very confusing but i listen to it on blast regardless and will most likely have hearing problems by the time im 30 T~T a lot of what ive been listening to on repeat is radiohead which was "our band" and i still think it is. im a very sentimental person and cant/wont diconnect these feelings probably ever. i do this a lot. this time though i havent had the urge to stop listening which is a reliefe because i enjoy the music but also because i think itd hurt me if i found hate or sadness in the music rather than the love and bond we once shared through these songs. something ive been considering is posting a song with every post or at the very least at the end of the week. maybe even a playlist at the end of the month? not sure yet. i think music tatse is something that changes with me all the time so its something worth recording here. oh also i def will post cd hauls here too! i have a small collection started but definetely wanna get more.

lets see i dont read often but my favorite books are alice in wonderland, the warden's daughter, they both die at the end, coraline and currently i am reading solitaire by alice oseman. ive read her heartstopper series and have taken a serious interest in tori's story. for my favorite shows i binge watch shows so often and then forget about them just as fast as i watch them lol. i really like soul eater, downtown, daria, the midnight gospel, the walking dead, initial d, madoka magica, and some others i cant think of right now.

hmm~ i cant really think about anything else to write at the moment, plus ive been typing for awhile and should get to bed, so i think ill end it here.

i dont really expect anyone to read this blog in all honesty but its something i wanna do for myself and if a few people take interest or relate to anything i talk about i think thats enough :)

Current dilemma

Ok so this is not really a dilemma but I willingly put myself in an (as seen by many) unhealthy situation. I just spent half of my spending money on two cars :) two identical white 1989 Honda Preludes SI's. These cars are rather hard to find nowadays, let alone two in good condition, and for the price I got them for I just couldn't pass it up. It's kind of crazy if you really think about it. They are both the top of the line performance models, although both are automatics, one will make a perfect daily driver, so I don't have to drive around my track/show RSX everywhere. The second one I plan on just keeping and fixing up with my friend that wants to get in the car scene. He might end up buying it off of me, we shall see. This picture will be the build inspiration for the one I daily drive.

For the next ten minutes Jeremy splutters, insisting his cooking is superb, unlike James’s, who can only do pies, and then the Richards come from their respective coffee and phone breaks, and Jeremy forgets to be bothered by his conundrum.

At eight, though, the table served, some smooth background music on (jazz, which James might appreciate), and his shirt crispy fresh, Jeremy smokes nervously on the balcony, trying and failing to come up with a plan. Tired of it, he glances at his watch, then back inside, at his nicely serviced dinner, and swears.

“It’s a date,” he says to himself incredulously. “I’ve asked him out on a date!”

He’s going to notice. Even having his head constantly stuck up in the Honda-shaped cloud, James can’t fucking miss the unmistakably romantic air about the whole event. Panicking, Jeremy rushes in, intending to at least change into a ratty t-shirt and turn off the jazz, but he’s too late.

The door opens, because James never bloody rings anymore, just lets himself in, and Jeremy freezes in the middle of the room. He tries to appear more casual than he feels, only coming across more awkward as the result.

James gives him a scowl as he walks in. “Seriously. You look like I just caught you with your hand down your pants. What’s going on?”

Jeremy clears his throat. “I think I forgot to switch the oven off,” he says, escaping to the kitchen for a short breather. Maybe it is the sex, he muses a bit panicky. Maybe he’s been sex-less for so long he’s managed to associate the desire for it with James due to all the fondling he’s been suddenly allowed. Maybe Jeremy had to invite a lady to a dinner and just get on with it, instead of trying to figure out what is it that James is making him crave for.  

Having not figured out anything, Jeremy comes back to the table and finds James completely unperturbed, studying the label on a wine bottle. “Lovely,” he comments, pouring a glass for himself. Jeremy has his own rosé, which he downs right away.

“I see you’ve made an effort,” James says in the same light tone. “Are we on a date, Jeremy?”

Jeremy chokes on his second glass of wine. “Why?” he croaks, hoping his ears are not too red. “Why would we be on a date?”

James looks mighty entertained. “Well –“

“It’s not a date,” Jeremy assures him quickly, before he begins to list everything that makes it look exactly like a date. “It’s just a dinner. Eat it and be grateful.”

James chuckles but obeys, settling on the safe subject of their upcoming Race to the North challenge, to Jeremy’s infinite relief.

“I’d love to take the train,” he says wistfully. “Are you sure you don’t want to switch?”

“James, with me driving the car there’s no suspense. At least with you behind the wheel there’s a chance the Jag might lose.”

“I’m betting on the train, actually. It’s not so much the driver that may befall the car, than the state it’s in. Actually, I’m more likely to win with the Jag cos I’d be able to mend it under two days’ time.”

Jeremy snorts. “If it was an old Honda, I might even agree. Talking about which – I think we’ve set Hammond up with this. He’s never going to go past  M25.”

“No, he will. You, on the other hand, are definitely going to have a heart attack.”

Jeremy waives him off. “How hard can it be?” He pauses, regarding James’s grin. “No, you’re right. It’s going to finish me. Be thankful this peril is not awaiting you.”

The chatting lulls Jeremy into the fake feeling of safety – and as for his vague but powerful frustration, then he can always work it out some other day, maybe after shagging a woman first to make sure it’s not about his blue balls. He has a creeping and horrifying suspicion it’s not the case, but Jeremy is not ready to accept it just yet.

Of course, when the hell does James take Jeremy’s woes to consideration?

They have a smoke outside, the night air cold but London pretty and lit brightly before them. Jeremy feels almost calm, slightly tipsy and enjoying the view and James’s proximity, almost content enough to leave it at that and never search for anything else.

Back inside, in the room a bit too warm and the smooth jazz a bit too noticeable, James corners him by a DVD shelf.

“Now tell me honestly, Jeremy. Is this a date?”

He’s standing too close and his eyes are too serious, and Jeremy can’t come up with any deflection.

“I don’t know,” he says plaintively. “I wasn’t in my intentions.”

“What was in your intentions, then?”

“I don’t know!” Jeremy insists, feeling unusually helpless. He doesn’t like feeling helpless. “This is way out of my area of expertise!”

James rolls his eyes. “That’s not unusual at all. All right, then. You clearly want something. We just got to find out, what.”

He’s being pedantic and logical, but for a rare change, Jeremy actually appreciates it. Logic is something familiar and useful, unlike all the undefined feelings Jeremy’s been having for the last half-year. It’d be even better if James was logical from a distance, but he remains on place, almost pressed flush to Jeremy, and then, as Jeremy fails to respond, puts a hand on his nape and drags him down for a brief and chaste kiss.

Jeremy’s so shocked by this development he stays bent down awkwardly, gaping, as James leans back.

“Wuh?”

James smirks. “Well, we had to start somewhere. It’s not kissing, then?”

“No – I – You didn’t – Let me –“ he shuts up and takes a breath, realising he’s sounding like an imbecile. “Is kissing something you’d like to do?” he asks, deciding an attack is a fine tactic in these circumstances.

“I wouldn’t mind.” James shrugs.

Whoa. Okay.

“And… uh, sex?”

That makes James pause, finally. “I don’t know,” he admits after a moment. “I’m not dying to see you naked and with your cock out,” he says, making Jeremy blush violently, “but then again, before ten minutes ago, I never thought about kissing you, either.”

Jeremy swallows. “I’m not even sure about that one yet. You’ll have to kiss me again, I’m afraid.”

His eyes lighting up instantly, which does all sort of things to Jeremy’s insides, James complies. The kiss is rather less brief this time, but about as chaste, no tongues and no lust in it, but it’s soft and eager and leaves Jeremy warm and a bit flushed in a very delightful way. James’s fingers are light and gentle on his nape, and Jeremy holds onto his lower back as on an anchor, and sways in helplessly when James leans away a bit.

“You seem pretty sure to me,” James mutters, smiling and pink around the edges – so ridiculously lovely Jeremy has to kiss him again, and then his pink cheeks and crinkled eyes and the little scar on his nose, until James is laughing softly, never trying to push Jeremy away.  “Was there something else you wanted, then?”

Jeremy draws him into a proper hug, burying his face in the messy bangs, for now content.

“Not right now, no. Well, a film and more wine would be great.”

James hums in agreement. 

Well, Jeremy thinks, beaming like an idiot, it’s pretty clear he won’t be inviting any ladies any time soon.
