I am aware the creators said the characters will never become real parents because it will be "Jumping the Shark" but I got this idea after watching the email Parenting. I will probably end up doing kids for Strong Mad, The Cheat, and Coach Z later, since Homestar Runner characters are hard to design, I'm not even satisfied with these

What are your favorite ships involving Pom Pom from Homestar Runner? My favorite one is Strong Pom (Strong Bad x Pom Pom).

(This is gonna be way more detailed than you probably bargained for and I’m sorry) 

I think just about everyone, at one point, had a crush on Pom Pom. I don’t really have a go-to ship for him but I have some headcanons on some! I do like all of these ships and am open to different interpretations! 

Overall, I’d say Pom Pom is pansexual and willing to give most prospective partners a chance. However, IMO he’s unlikely to really settle down with one person and likes playing the field.

I think there may have been a time when Homestar and Pom Pom had a unspoken crush on one another? Probably not at the same time and both of them were probably worried about ruining their friendship. Those feelings came and went and are largely forgotten now (this also works for Strong Sad but to a lesser extent).

Strong Bad, champion of misdirecting positive feelings into negative ones that he is, also got caught up in the “Pom Pom is the hottest guy here” craze and turned it into an unrequited rivalry that went nowhere. Unlike Homestar and SB, who are somewhat evenly matched, Pom Pom is WAY out of SB’s league both in rivalry and romantically. SB still has no idea if he’d fight Pom Pom or kiss him.

Marzipan and Pom Pom dated once during an “off” period of Homestar and Marzi’s relationship. Pom Pom, unlike Homestar, doesn’t readily fall in step with Marzipan’s will and she wasn’t fond of the lack of control (bear in mind that this would have been when Marzi was still operating under some pretty toxic ideas on what relationships are). Pom Pom learned he wasn’t attracted to her romantically pretty early on. They broke up amicably and remain good friends.

That all said, I think my favorites are a tie between Pomstar and Strong Pom aesthetically. I think, if brought to their ends, those relationships could be really fun to explore!

I haven’t drawn Homestar Runner fan art in a long time, so I decided to draw this picture about Strong Sad comforting Werewolf Homsar after when he got a bad pummeling by hunters. Plus, I ship Strong Sad x Homsar so much.
