CBSE Board Exam Preparation: How to Balance School and Self-Study

Preparing for the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Board Exams is a crucial milestone for students in India. These exams play a significant role in shaping academic futures and determining career paths. With effective CBSE Board Exam preparation strategies, students can navigate through the challenges of the syllabus and perform well. Here's a guide on how to prepare effectively for the CBSE Board Exams.
1. Understand the Syllabus Thoroughly
The first step in CBSE Board Exam preparation is to familiarize yourself with the syllabus. CBSE provides a well-structured curriculum that outlines the topics to be covered in each subject. Make sure you go through the syllabus and identify the weightage of each chapter. This helps prioritize subjects and topics based on their importance in the exams.
2. Create a Study Plan
A well-organized study plan is essential for effective CBSE Board Exam preparation. Divide your study time in such a way that you can cover all subjects adequately. Allocate more time to difficult subjects or topics that need extra focus. Break your plan into smaller chunks, and ensure that you revise regularly. Stick to your schedule, and try to avoid procrastination.
3. Focus on NCERT Books
The CBSE Board Exam is largely based on NCERT textbooks. These books cover the entire syllabus and provide a detailed explanation of concepts. For each subject, read and understand the NCERT books thoroughly. Make notes as you study, especially for complex topics. Practicing examples and exercises given in the NCERT books will also help in improving problem-solving skills, especially for subjects like Mathematics and Science.
4. Practice Previous Years' Question Papers
One of the best ways to prepare for CBSE Board Exams is to practice previous years' question papers. These papers give you a clear idea of the exam pattern and help you understand which topics are frequently asked. Practicing these papers will also improve your time management skills, as you will get used to solving questions under time constraints. Ensure you attempt the papers in a timed setting to simulate real exam conditions.
5. Focus on Writing Skills
For subjects like English and Social Science, where long-form answers are expected, honing your writing skills is important. Practice writing answers to questions from sample papers and previous yearsâ exams. Ensure that your answers are precise, to the point, and well-organized. In subjects that require diagrams (like Biology or Geography), practice drawing neat and accurate diagrams with proper labels.
6. Revise Regularly
Revision is key to solidifying your CBSE Board Exam preparation. Set aside specific time each week for revision. Go over your notes, revise important chapters, and attempt practice questions. Revising regularly helps reinforce the concepts you have learned and boosts your confidence for the actual exam.
7. Stay Healthy and Rested
Effective preparation isn't just about studying non-stop; it's also about maintaining physical and mental well-being. Ensure that you get enough sleep, eat healthy meals, and stay hydrated. Physical exercise, such as walking or yoga, can reduce stress and improve concentration. Remember, a well-rested mind is far more efficient in retaining information.
8. Stay Positive and Manage Stress
The pressure of preparing for the CBSE Board Exam can lead to stress. It is important to stay positive and avoid unnecessary stress. Set realistic goals, take short breaks during study sessions, and reward yourself for completing tasks. Practicing relaxation techniques like deep breathing and meditation can also help you manage stress.
Conclusion
In conclusion, CBSE Board Exam preparation requires a blend of understanding the syllabus, strategic planning, and regular practice. Focus on NCERT books, practice previous yearâs papers, and revise frequently. Stay positive, manage stress, and take care of your health to ensure success. With dedication, discipline, and effective time management, you can ace the CBSE Board Exams and achieve your academic goals.

special!
how he changes because of love
bllk boys (nagi, rin, otoya) x reader: fluff, drabbles, not proofread + likes and reblogs r appreciated <3
nagi seishiro
to everyone else, nagi is lazy to his very core â seen by his constant napping during class or being piggy backed by his own teammates (reo) and doing the bare minimum all whilst beating everyone else.
yet with you, heâs the opposite of lazy with you.
nagi wakes up early for you to meet you on time at your bus stop that he almost every morning runs to in a hurry with his uniform wrinkled and in a mess that he lets you spoil him by tidying it for him, letting his eyes wander at your focused ones and relaxing at your soft and warm touch in contrast to his cold ones. and nagi is the opposite of his usual self when he goes the extra mile â only writing notes for you during class when youâre beside him too busy falling asleep as his hands moves faster as though heâs playing his games on the paper to capture all the information on the board as the teacher wipes it off, only buying food for you and bringing right to your table in contrast to his usual self who has his food placed in front of him who already finds merely chewing a pain, only carrying your bag as you two walk home, not minding the extra weight on his back when its for you. after all, if itâs for you, he thinks its worth it: anythingâs worth to see your beaming face that practically shines with the way the sun shines on your face as though youre an angel, anythingâs worth to be able to be by your side who to him is practically an angel in disguise with the way you make his heart flutter and his face warm that to him is no longer a hassle especially when your eyes are simply drawn to him as though a magnetic, anythingâs worth to see your eyes brighten when he does those little things that seems so uncharacteristic to everyone else. but you know better he thinks, heâs only like this with you.
and its even more obvious when nagi truly brings out his âgeniusâ for you â when he does his 200% and pulls out all his best moves that he had half-assed all these times when he sees you watching him play football against other school, his motivation linked to your attention and eyes fixated on the way he moves as though playing only for you, when heâs so focused in finishing a game for you or even playing a game to carry you, with his eyes practically firing up with hypothetical fire burning up, so focused his veins on his hands pops a little and his lips slightly bleeding from how hard he was biting it, only to immediately turn puppy like when he turns to you to look for your validation once heâs all done, when he sits up all straight when he patiently and gently tutors you for homework as though heâs ever bothered to do any of those and not simply wing it. nagi doesnât really think its cool, its just a part of him, barely acknowledging peopleâs ossips about his talents: bringing his volleyball team to the nationals (little do you know he simply joined because you and him liked a certain volleyball anime and watched it together), acing all the exams despite practically being asleep in most of the classes (heâs really not asleep, simply looking at you as he lies his head on his table and looking at you through drooping eyelids and secretly admiring you as you focus in class). and perhaps he does all things for one reason: nagi loves you and wants you to give the attention and validation he craves: eating up your each and every praise that sounds so right with your sugary sweet voice that gets his adreadline pumping as though ready to finish another game, eating up your reactions from your wide eyes and âoâ shaped lips to him flexing his talents in contrast to his sloth like being majority of the time, and most importantly eating up the way you look at him as though heâs your entire world.
itoshi rin
to everyone else, rin is completely and entirely consumed and fixated on football: evident from how his every action revolves around his passion from his football books that he reads solely to analyse techniques underneath his desk during class, from how he skips his school club to go to his out-of-school football training team a hour away from school in a bus that comes every thirty minutes, and.. from the way heâs strangely always around you..?
not to say otherâs analysis seems to be wrong: rinâs nothing less than passionate about football, but he thinks he can be his raw self with you and let you mold him to whatever you want if it means to see your smile: only evident in yours and his stash of polaroids photos.
polaroids featuring rinâs face plastered with colourful stickers of stars, hearts, emojis and disney princesses as he uncharacteristically smiles as though he was a little kid with a bright beam and crescent shaped eyes with flash on that heâs sure his classmate or his teammates wont even recognise in contrast to his usual fixed grimace on his face, one that makes him smile especially when he remembers your giggles as you paste it on his face: remembering your soft and gentle touch that touches both his skin and his heart too and the way you stick your tongue too when youre all focused that makes his heart flutter and stomach filled with butterflies. polaroids that featured both you and him secretly in his wallet that he canât help but be magnetised to and look at before every of his game for motivation and even kiss it for good luck where you and him have stupid and silly hair clips clipped onto both your hairs that you both clipped onto each other on his bed, room that was always silent now lively and filled with yours and his chatter and giggles as you both acted like little kids again that makes him wish he didnât have to ever grow and stay right here with you forever, beaming at the camera as you press your lips on his cheeks that practically leaves a mark on his heart. polaroid that was secretly downloaded by him to become his wallpaper of you and him on his bed sitting down together, for the first time taking the lead and using your polaroid that heâs paid for and taking a picture of you and him from the stupid 0.5 angle you always do of him and laugh at, capturing a silly picture of you and him to brighten his day and for him to not go homesick when he leaves you for a few months, yours and his forehead hilariously big that he canât help but let out a ugly laugh, letting his hand wrap around your frame as you two laugh at the picture.
and rinâs sure if they look a little closer, perhaps they would see the truth without those polaroids â with the way his lips moves upwards whenever youre with him and his eyes soften when it drifts to you in contrast to his usual frown fixated on his pretty face, with the way his voice seemingly becomes softer as he replies to you in contrast to how he practically ignores his classmates and teammates words, letting them drift out of his ears immediately, with the way he goes above and beyond all whilst still trying to put up the nonchalant facade they all fell for: the way his face flushes pink whenever you linger a little too close even though youâve been together for oh so long yet you still make him want to lie down in his bed and yell against his pillow and kick his feet like a teenage girl in love, the way his usual glare melt so obviously when his eyes lands on you whether your hands or your eyes like youre his very entire world, and even the way he seems like a puppy if you look hard enough whenever he walks home with you, hands tugging at yours, head on your shoulder, holding yours and his bag even despite hours of football practice.
otoya eita
in contrast to his very very infamous reputation: a player, a jerk, simply âdatingâ to have fun â its a cycle that otoya has lived by through his school life, reputation stained by upset exes that throw paint against his at first pristine reputation: liking someoneâs cute face or personality, going with them for one or two dates before losing interest and becoming bored and restart the cycle.
and yet, thereâs something about you thatâs simply so magnetic that he thinks you, along with football, could be the constant in his life for once in his life.
a routine: its not something otoya is used to, but with you, he feels oh so at ease. he finds routine as something exciting now: walking with you to the convenience store after school for lunch and getting a new snack each and every time with you whilst enjoying your voice that he thinks he can never grow tired off with each and every of your movement in your pitch and octave as you ramble away that makes him still smile unconsciously, waiting for you outside of class as he plays a game of finding you with your class position always switching, smiling unconsciously when he sees you whether you are focused in class, playing games underneath your table or even doodling in your notebook, going out with you during the weekends and practically remaking memories in the different places he liked and eventually grew tired of â from the old arcade that he used to go as a kid that now is practically abandoned that you and him hung out, drinking soda and laughing before running away together, from the secret corner in the school library he used to attempt to focus and do homework and doing yours and his assignment together where he finds out that rather than getting distracted by the new influx of people, heâs getting distracted by how you look so adorable as you write another essay with the way you bite your lips as you focus of course only until you flick his forehead for not focusing, to even a small shop by his neighbourhood and enjoying his favourite childhood snack that he thinks taste even sweeter now that youre next to him that he eventually grew tired of after eating ten of it once when he was five. you make all things heâs grown tired of new again: his old earphones he left in the corner of his desk at the excitement from obtaining a new headphone he now use in order to share music with you on the bus as your head lies on his shoulder as the music blasts in both your ears that makes his heart flush at the thought of you and him sharing the same song (he thinks heâs becoming oh so sappy in contrast to who he used to be), his rainbow beads that he collected as a kid before abandoning it in his house storeroom he made bracelets with you in his bedroom as you two made matching bracelets that he has never removed from his wrist since you put it right on him, and even his childhood favourite fried rice that he ate too much of and despite learning how to cook it never cooked it again until you came by his house for the first time and tried it with him wanting to oh so desperately to impress you, tasting even more addicting with you sharing his now new favourite food with him.
he thinks heâs changed now that heâs with you: a constant in his ever changing orbit. and just like football, otoya dedicates a part of his life to you, falling into a habit with you: in the same way he practices football every afternoon everyday in a fixed time frame in order to keep constant. otoya reaches yours and his bus stop at 7am every single day, he kisses your cheeks the second he sees you reach the bus stop, boarding the bus and sitting at the very same duo seat or standing at a specific seat every single time, sitting at one specific table or a specific spot of the field area every lunch period. and he feels the same feeling too whenever he sees you: his heart fluttering as his face flushes oh so subtly, his stomach filled with butterflies that makes him all giddy and nervous and excited, how he feels as though heâs straight up in a shoujo romance manga as the protagonist as you practically sweep him off his own feet just with your presence alone. and when you walk home with him, every single day, he prays to whatever god out there to thank them for letting him be the one to hold your hand â for giving him one more constant in his life that thankfully looks at him back and not curse him instead from his previous love failures.

Previous chapter
The days seemed longer than usual, your hands were full; trying to catch up with classes and studying for upcoming exams, getting home late and barely sleeping. It has been a few days since your last tutoring lesson and you really hoped Violet would keep her promise and study on her own, although you knew she had a lot on her plate too.
After that invitation, both of you started exchanging messages daily, usually chatting about what you were doing or your plans for the day, you complained about a few classes and she would do the same about some customers during the night.
It was still early in the morning and you were drinking your coffee. Your schedule for today was a bit heavy, it was Viktor's class and you knew that a pile of exams would be waiting for you on the desk to grade and your mind would be everywhere except on those papers.
You drank your coffee peacefully while going through your phone's notifications, reading group chats of your classes and asking some questions you needed for an essay. While reading one of your classmates' reply, a message from Caitlyn pops up asking if you would be free after class. Thinking for a bit, you decide to meet up with her for coffee and maybe a study session, it has been a while since both of you could have one and you were curious about the case she was so eagerly working on too. After all, she did mention it was very important for her.
Turning the lights off, you walk out of your apartment and lock the door. Once inside the elevator, the thought of messaging Violet crossed your mind, but you remembered she had mentioned her day would be very busyâ training for the weekend during the morning and receiving some new furniture for The Last Drop in the afternoon, so you decide not to.
It was already feeling like kind of a boring day, you were getting accustomed to your texts and your senseless chats, just seeing her name pop up on your lockscreen would put your heart to work fast. Although you couldn't shake off the memory of the envelope, you wonder if you would be able to build up the nerve and eventually ask Caitlyn about it. There is nothing wrong with curiosity, right?
As you open the front door of the building, a cold breeze makes you realize you should have taken a jacket before leaving your place. Sighing, you closed the door anyway and started walking, you were already tight on time and Viktor wasn't very forgiving when it came to punctuality.
"Good morning, professor." You say as you open the door to Viktor's office, but there was no sight of him. The smell of books and incense was in the air, sunlight filling the room through green curtains and illuminating the bookshelves as you dropped your bag on the floor beside your usual seat. Saying you loved this room would be an understatement, it felt so academic yet very personal, you could tell Viktor put his whole life in here; some of his favourite books were on the bookshelf right behind his seat, notes and small illustrations pinned on a clork boardâ some his and some from someone else, and, on the desk, he had a frame with a photograph of his husband and himself, they both looked so happy and in love.
The particular sound of Viktor's cane stumbled you a bit out of your thoughts. He greeted you good morning and apologized for the delay, then sat down and handed a small pile of exams for grading. You looked at him confused and he said, "Not many students showed up."
You nod in response and both of you start your usual working routine. The mutual understanding you shared with him was something you were thankful for, it was quiet and easy to work with him; Viktor usually focused on his own thing, sometimes it would be supervising your previous corrections or preparing the topics for the next lesson, other times he'd stay silent while writing notes on his next investigation.
"How are Violet's lessons coming so far?" He asked suddenly, not taking his eyes off his paperwork and coughing a little bit.
"To be honest, good." You replied, trying to pretend that the mention of her name doesn't strike a nerve. Viktor looks at you and raises an eyebrow curiously and encouraging you to elaborate more. "Well," you start fidgeting, playing with the pen on your hand and taking your stare everywhere but his face, "she's a quick learner and shows clear interest in our lessons," he catches your fingers moving awkwardly and tries to hide a smile, "so I think she'll do just fine next time."
Viktor nods and continues with his work, you follow his action and carry on grading the few remaining exams. It was a pity not many students showed up to take it; Viktor's lessons were difficult but very educative and dynamic, he would make sure the whole class had a chance to participate, to feel free to start a debate or even question his facts. Even though his exams were tough, he always held extra classes for those who needed additional tutoring regarding some topics. Those were the reasons you look up to him, he built his career alone, everything he has now was a product of his never ending effort; in the little time you had got to know this man, he had found a way to make you admire him even more.
"Jayce and I are holding a seminar the following week," he said, lifting his eyes off the papers in front of him and dropping his pen on the desk, "we would like to invite you."
You nod excitedly and he smiles, explaining more about the seminar his husband and himself are holding; they were working on a device that could detect and help relief the pain on small parts of the human body, it was mostly theory and the idea was still too young, but Viktor seemed hopeful about it. Both of you keep on working for a few hours more, time passing by quickly given all the work you had to do besides grading.
He ended up dismissing you earlier than expected, so you said your goodbye and walked out of the office straight to the cafeteria. Caitlyn wasn't going to arrive for another half an hour at least, so you sat down at your usual table and waited for the waitress to come take your order.
"Well, look what we have here." You hear a familiar voice behind you and turn your head around, it was Violet. She was smiling playfully as she took a seat in front of you. "Missed me much?"
"What are you doing here?" You ask her, nervously playing with the menu on your hands. Certainly you weren't expecting to see her today.
"Stalking my favourite tutor." She says and laughes. Her laugh makes you even more nervous, it feels like both music to your ears and a drums against your chest.
"I'm your only tutor." You answer, trying to sound nonchalant and calm. Violet had this unknown effect on you, it was like she was guiding you through the whole emotional spectrum; happiness, anxiety, confusion, all at once. Never in your life have you crossed paths with someone who could cloud your mind and put your heart to work as if you were running a marathon.
"Had to drop Powder's uniform," she says, running her hands through her pink hair, "she came to work and forgot it at home." She rolls her eyes, giving you the smallest timeframe to watch her slow movements, the way her shoulders would tense as she gesticulates, her hair falling against her face, her light blue eyes reflecting the sunlight coming through the window. It was like her presence was driving you in. "Are you okay, cupcake?" She breaks the spell she put you in.
"Y-Yes, Iâ"
"Can I take your order?" You were interrupted by no other than Powder herself, all dressed up in her uniform. Violet was about to speak but her sister cuts her out, "I already know yours, sis," she says, "I'm asking yours, cupcake." Smirking and looking at you mockingly, this little teenager managed to paint your face red.
"Just a coffee, please." You answer, coughing to try to clear your throat. Violet was sending her sister a serious stare, but you couldn't mind what it meant when your face felt like it's been set on fire.
Powder writes down your order, still with that smile on her face, and takes off. Silence sets in the small space of your table, you couldn't quite figure if it was an awkward silence that you should fill, yet you had no idea how you'd do that; Violet was entertained looking out the window, her chin on her hand and her eyes narrowed to cover herself from the sunlight. You felt like you should imitate her, as if you should cover yourself from her.
Your cellphone rings and you take it, desperate for anything that could distract your thoughts, and see a message from your best friend saying she would be arriving soon. You wonder if Violet was going to stick around for long, not that you wanted her to leave but the envelope was still in your mindâ it felt like you were getting in the middle of something, putting pieces together of a secret you were not supposed to discover, yet you wanted to know why it was hidden in the first place.
It just didn't make sense, Caitlyn has been open about her sexuality ever since you first met her, so it couldn't be that. Maybe Violet wasn't? She didn't seem like the type to hide, but you didn't know that much about her anyway.
As your train of thoughts was taking you to psychosis station, the little door bell rings and a familiar shape comes into view. Caitlyn looked stunning, as always, but this time an aura of happiness was surrounding her. She approaches your table and greets Violet first, your stomach ties up in a knot when you see your best friend's hand on Vi's shoulder; such a small cordial gesture that sends your brain direct instructions to make your heart panic and you smile vaguely in a lame attempt to compose yourself.
"I'm glad you're here too." Caitlyn says to Vi, then takes a seat next to you just when Powder was bringing you your coffee, so your best friends takes her chance and ask for one too. You see the teenager roll her eyes as she writes Caitlyn's order then takes off. "Not one to pretend, I see."
"It's not personal," Violet says, "she just wants to drive you nuts."
Caitlyn chuckles and grabs her purse, taking a few papers from it and putting them on the table. You wonder what the whole conversation was about, how could Powder have such a reaction to her and why. You were feeling so left out.
"This is the case I wanted you to help me with." Caitlyn says to you, you stare at her confused and then take a look at it. You go through the pages slowly, reading some of the colorful notes sticked on them that pointed to mistakesâ probably done by her boss. It was a complicated one, you could see why she needed someone else's eyes on this, but you weren't sure yours would be fitting.
"Well, it's certainly... something," You comment as you keep reading, you turn the pages until you find the strategy the firm was going to take for it, "is the other party not willing to settle?"
"He's not." Violet says, swallowing hard and looking at her side. You weren't expecting her to answer and look at her confused, then follow her gaze and find she's watching her younger sister wrapping a donut and shoving it inside a tiny bag for a customer. The pink haired girl chuckles when she sees Powder rolling her eyes again once the customer turns on their back and leaves; she really wasn't made for customer service, but you can see why Vi would want her to work here. Powder was safe, surrounded by college students or teachers, just preparing coffee and making snarky comments to customers, in a place where her older sister could actually watch over her. "I have to go now," Violet says, getting up of her seat, "I'll see you around, cupcake." She winks at you and raises her hand to greet Caitlyn goodbye as well.
Your best friend looks at you and bites her lips to repress a smile, but you're too busy watching Violet leave in a rush and replaying in your mind the little nickname that seemed to have grown on you.
Looking down again at the papers on the table, you see the Kiramman's distinctive emblem. Your fingers caress it mindlessly in a circle, Cassandra did an amazing job at the design, it really represented everything they were going for: justice, status and transparency.
"Is something going on between you and Violet?" Suddenly you ask Caitlyn, who was about to take a sip at her coffee but leaves her mug on the table slowly and raises her eyebrows in surprise instead.
"What do youââ She was interrupted by her cellphone ringing, she reads the name popping on the screen and sighs. It was her boss. Feeling a bit embarrassed about your sudden question, you smile and tell her to pick up then get off your seat. It was already time to go back home and study for your exams, but mostly you just wanted to run from the situation; it was a question you weren't sure to want to know the answer. Caitlyn picks up her purse and stands up as well, it seemed her boss told her to go back to the office as quick as possible. "Please take the folder with you," she tells you, "I'll text you later if he doesn't kill me."
You nod and greet her goodbye, then walk past Powder, who was taking an order from the table next to yours.
"Bye, Powder." You tell her before opening the door.
"Goodbye, cupcake!" She yells back, laughing loudly and winking, clearly mocking the way her sister does it.
You smile softly as you cross the door then start walking back to your place, thinking the fresh air might clear your head.
"Go to sleep, Vi!" Ekko yells from behind the bar counter while cleaning some of the bottles, humming a french song he listened to the day before with his girlfriend.
"Glad you're having fun." Violet tells him, putting a big box with some more bottles softly on the floor next to him. She looks at him annoyed, there were more important things to do than singing and cleaning the most expensives bottles no one actually asks for.
"Take it easy, it's still early." He answers, returning the same annoyed stare and putting the bottle on its place. "Just go rest, I'll take it from here."
"Don't forget toâ"
"Clean the tables and take a look at the stereo," Ekko interrupts her, "I know."
Violet nods and thanks him, turning around to go upstairs. The day couldn't be any more longer, although she was more concerned about the weekend; that's when the bar would be full and she wasn't sure Ekko could handle it on his own, Powder still hadn't asked for a free day at her job to help him out and there was no one else to replace her. She didn't want to miss her fight, she has been practicing a lot more and she could see herself getting better at it. Most of all, she didn't want to cancel her date along with it. Although it wasn't a date, not that she wouldn't want it to be but the other girl seemed pretty much oblivious to her advances. Or maybe she just wasn't interested.
Sighing, Violet sits down on the couch with her whisky glass filled in her hand. She takes a sip, slowly letting the liquid burn her throat while she watches it settle again inside. It wouldn't be long for the trial to be held and even if she trusted Caitlyn and the firm with all her heart, she couldn't help but feel nervous; her father's long life work was at stake, Powder's future and her own were too. She had a promise to keep to him and should it go down wrong, it would weight her until her final days.
College was just a back up plan, not that she didn't like the idea of it but her life and dreams were at The Last Drop. The only good part about it so far was that she could get to meet her tutorâ more than that, she could befriend her and perhaps something more if only that girl would ever notice her flirting.
Smiling to herself, Violet grabbed her phone and texted her. She was hoping Caitlyn was right about her and that she would help them even a bit with the case, it would mean the world to Vi. Caitlyn had talked heavens about her best friend, saying she was smart and sweet, and Violet was glad to find out it was all true; the way she would carry herself or talk, even her small gestures were adorable. Not to mention she was incredibly attractive, it was so difficult for Vi to be near her, feel her body close and not be able to touch her, to caress her face, to slide her hands down her body and smell her perfume; she could imagine it all as she laid down on the couch, her imagination was driving her nuts. Her heart beating a bit faster as she fantasized of kissing her neck slowly, what her moans would sound like once she felt Violet leaving a trail of kisses down her body, softly helping her get undressed, piece by piece until there was nothing left separating them.
She would make her feel so good, teasing her just the right amount to hear her begging for more. Violet slid her hand under her pants, her body already feeling hotter than before and she wished those fingers weren't hers; the need to feel her was clouding her senses as she kept rubbing her own fingers against her clit, a vivid image of her tutor moaning Violet's name was in her mind. She'd caress and feel the skin of the girl's breast against her hand as she'd keep kissing all the way down, only stopping once she's close to where she's needed the most, licking and sucking, tasting her and watching her close her eyes, trying so hard not to finish right there and then.
"Fuck!" Violet let out a soft moan, she could feel her own orgasm building inside her as her fingers kept rubbing relentlessly. She could imagine the girl's hands on her pink hair, trying to ground herself as Vi would keep eating her out, making her moan and cum like she's never before, because she was sure of it. She could feel her own orgasm building inside her, she was so close to itâ Someone knocked twice on the door and called her name. It was Ekko, yelling he needed her down at the bar because a customer was causing trouble with the payment.
Sighing heavily, she composed herself and got up to wash her hands. Her cellphone vibrated and she instantly grabbed it, smiling at the reply from the girl who wouldn't leave her thoughts. She had claimed ownership of her mind entirely, little by little with every interaction, every smile, every silly joke and even when she would blush because of Violet's endless teasing.
"good night, cupcake." Violet replied, trying to keep her thoughts off her fantasies.
It would be a long wait until the weekend arrives.

BAD AT FOLLOWING EXPECTATIONS..!
maehara hiroto x fem! student council reader x slight! asano gakushu
sypnosis: Class E has always been regarded as the gutter of Kunugigaoka Academy. A certain flirt never expected help from Class Aâs vice president. But one rainy day, a single act defies the schoolâs hierarchy, and expectations start to crumble.
author's note: this scene was based on the Chapter 23 of Assassination Classroom. all characters and original plot (except Y/n and Shiori Takada) belongs to Yusei Matsui.
The rainy season had arrived.
Dark clouds loomed over the campus, casting everything in a dull silver hue. Raindrops hammered against the classroom windows, creating a steady rhythm, a soft, endless percussion. The air was thick with the sultry scent of wet earth, petrichor rising with each drop.
Itâs June, and there are 9 months left before graduation.Â
Inside, the air smelled faintly of damp uniforms, wet concrete, and newly sharpened pencils. Students leaned lazily over their desks, heads resting on their arms, as if the weight of the sky pressed down on them too.
In the dreariness of the rainy season, people also feel somewhat dispirited.
When the bell finally rang, students hastened to gather their things and rushed for home, umbrellas popping open like flowers under the drizzle.Â
âY/n-san. Got a minute?â you turned, surprised.Â
It was Shiori Takada, one of the top 10 ranked students from Class Aâ quiet, often overlooked, and always absurdly precise with her notes.
âI know we have the mock exams next week,â she said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear âbut I was thinkingâmaybe we should propose a tutoring rotation for the bottom 10 students in our class.â
You blinked. âClass A students helping Class A students?â
She looked down shyly, her fingers brushing her notebook. âItâs still a competition, but dragging the bottom slows the curve. If we all score higher, our class average rises â and that reflects better on our records.â
You considered it. The idea was cold, but smart just like Class A.
ââŚSend me the outline. Iâll polish the wording.â
âAhâthank you. I wasnât sure youâd say yes.â She quickly tucks her hair behind her ear again, a faint blush rising on her cheeks as she hurries out of the classroom.
You watched the door swing shut, then exhaled not from exhaustion, just habit.
As you slipped the last document into your bag, the classroom door creaked open again.
âLeaving so early, Vice President?â You turned.
Asano Gakushu, A top-ranked student and the student council president â calm, composed, expression unreadable as always. He stood beneath the stairwell lights, arms crossed, a file folder in one hand.
You kept your tone neutral. âWeâre done for the day.â
âSo I heard,â he replied, stepping down the last few steps to your level. âI also heard you agreed to support Takadaâs tutoring initiative.â
âShe made a valid point,â you replied. âRaising the class average helps everyone.â
Asano tilted his head slightly, like a chess master re-evaluating a board.
âStrategic. I expected no less from you,â he said.âStill⌠helping weaker students doesnât always guarantee strength. Sometimes it simply shows how vulnerable we are when we slow down.â
You didnât take the bait.
Instead, you met his gaze evenly. âOr maybe it shows how strong we are when we donât leave anyone behind.â
Asanoâs expression didnât change, but something flickered behind his eyes â recognition, perhaps. Or interest.
You adjusted your bag strap, the rain tapping faintly against the window panes behind you.
âIf thatâs all, Iâll be heading out,â you said, voice calm. âIâd rather not miss the last shuttle.â
You turned before he could reply, footsteps echoing softly down the empty hallway.
Behind you, Asano didnât call out.
He never did.
But you could feel his eyes on your back â watching, calculating, the way he always did.
Kunugigaoka Academy. A prestigious private institution admired across the country â pristine, towering, efficient. Its reputation was built on excellence, its students polished into perfection.
A hierarchy carved deep into its foundation.
Class A sat at the top: privilege, pressure, prestige.
Class E was exiled to the bottom: shame, silence, stigma.
A line that was never meant to be crossed.
It was quiet at this hour. The corridors had emptied. Most of the shuttles had departed. You walked alone past the manicured gardens, down the wide walkway that split the elite from the forgotten.
Stepping past the academyâs grand front gate â the iron bars cool and slick with rain â the air outside felt just a little freer. Or perhaps just lonelier.
But something off caught your eye.
Across the sidewalk, near the old bus stop where Class E students sometimes passed, a small group had gathered. Teppei Araki. Seo Tomoya. Another Class A student â all familiar faces, all wearing the same smug posture.
And in front of them stood Maehara Hiroto, a student from Class E. Beside him, a girl you didnât recognize. Probably from Class C or D. Her posture was tense, uncertain.
âYouâve got it all wrong, Seo-kun!â the girl cried, voice trembling as she ran toward him. âI didnât have an umbrella, and he just happened to come along and offer hisâŚâ
Her words faltered under Seoâs stare. She clutched the hem of her skirt tightly, head bowed, as if begging him â not just to believe her, but to accept the lie sheâd chosen.
âAh⌠so thatâs how it is,â Maehara said. His voice was low but clear, cutting through the rain.
The girl froze, turning toward him slowly, panic in her eyes.
âLately, you've hardly answered the phone,â he said, tone even. âAnd you suddenly switched from bicycling to commuting by train.â
Rain dripped steadily from his bangs, but his expression didnât waver.
âSo, you figured you'd keep me around for when your new boyfriend's busy?â
Her lips parted, but no sound came.
âKaho, you littleââ
Seoâs voice cracked through the rain like a whip. His fist clenched at his side, eyes narrowing â not just at her, but at the embarrassment. At being dragged into something this messy.
âH-heâs wrong!â Kaho stammered, nearly slipping on the slick pavement. âI-itâs not like that at allâŚâ
She was stuttering now, scrambling for something to fix it â a lie, an angle, a way out.
Then she snapped.
âHey!â she shouted, spinning toward Maehara. Her eyes wide, voice rising.
âDonât you know youâre bad news?â
The shift was sharp. Panic giving way to blame.
âYou didnât put in enough effort and ended up in Class E,â she said, pointing with a trembling finger. âThe bottom of the pack, Maehara-kun.â
The words echoed louder than the rain.
This was it. The boundary. Not the grade sheets. Not the ranking boards. But this â a girl clawing for her dignity by kicking someone already on the ground. And you had seen enough.
âMaehara.â
You stepped forward, lifting your umbrella slightly higher. Your voice was calm.
âThere you are. Iâve been waiting.â
They all froze.
Seo turned sharply. Kaho blinked, thrown. Even Maehara looked up â eyes narrowing slightly in disbelief.
You kept your expression even. Then, with a faint smile, you extended your hand in his direction.
âYou said youâd walk me to the station, didnât you?â
Maeharaâs mouth twitched â not a smile, but something like relief. He stood straighter.
âRight,â he said, playing along. âSorry Iâm late.â
He walked toward you without another glance at the others.
Kaho looked stunned. Seo stepped back, visibly off balance.
You turned, holding the umbrella between you both.
âNext time,â you said without looking back, âtry blaming someone who isnât already carrying more than they should.â
And with that, you walked off into the rain â leaving behind the scene, and the system that allowed it.
The rain followed in soft percussion as you walked side by side. The silence wasnât uncomfortable â just full of things unspoken.
You didnât speak until you reached the station overhang, the warm glow of the lights casting long shadows on the pavement.
Maehara exhaled, leaning against a pillar. His sleeves were still dripping, his face unreadable.
ââŚThanks,â he said, after a moment. âYou didnât have to do that.â
You shrugged, folding the umbrella carefully. âDidnât feel right walking away.â
âYouâre Class A. Youâre supposed to walk away.â
âIâm also supposed to pretend people like Seo are worth admiring,â you muttered. âSo I guess weâre both bad at following expectations.â
Maehara let out a dry laugh â short, but real.
You looked at him then. Not a delinquent. Not a rank. Just a boy with rain-soaked sleeves, pride barely intact, and eyes that hadnât expected anyone to stand beside him.
ââŚDid you mean it?â he asked suddenly.
You blinked. âMean what?â
âThat weâre friends.â
âI meant that I could be.â
Maehara didnât smile. But something in his eyes softened â something quiet and tired, like a guard lowering for the first time in a long while.
The Next Morning - Class E
âYou really didnât see us?â Sugino asked, sliding into his seat beside Maehara with a knowing grin.
Maehara didnât look up from his textbook. âSee who?â
âSugino, Nagisa, Okano and me,â Kayano answered brightly, propping her chin on her hands across from him. âWe were heading back from practice. We saw everything.â
ââŚYou couldâve helped,â Maehara muttered, flipping a page with a bit more force than necessary.
âWe didnât have to,â Okano said, smirking. âShe had it under control.â
âShe?â Nagisa asked innocently. âYou mean the vice president of Class A? Y/n-san?â
Maehara exhaled sharply. âYes, her.â
âShe called you her friend,â Kayano teased. âI never thought I'd see the day Maehara Hiroto got saved romantically under an umbrella.â
âIt wasnât romantic,â Maehara snapped quickly, face heating up. âShe was just.. handling the situation.â
âHandling you, more like,â Sugino said.
âNyurufufufu~â Korosensei suddenly slipped in through the back, clearly eavesdropping. âA forbidden friendship! A budding affection across class lines! This is exactly the kind of subplot I live for!â
Maehara groaned, burying his face in his arms. âShut it.â
The class erupted into laughter. And for a brief moment, despite the gloom outside, everything felt a little lighter.

The bell rang and the scraping of chairs drowned out your hearing. Getting up, you stalked into the hallway and into a small crowd building up by a wall that displayed class rankings. Studentsâ voices overlapped in your head as you heard several people talking about how they were done for when they went home. You hoped that wouldnât be you. Recalling a memory you tried to delete, you cursed yourself for skipping studying and going to that stupid party. You remembered downing a bitter concoction repeatedly, losing yourself in the process, and the way you walked into the exam room like a zombie, barely on time the next morning. Reaching the end of the crowd, you prayed to anything who could hear you that he failed at least one subject. Your heart sank as you looked at the board which was embedded with the words that you knew would get you destroyed by the time you went home.
Class rank: 1. Park Sunghoon, Average GPA 4.5
âDamn it.â You muttered as you turned to leave, just in time to see the said devil grinning down at you in pure mockery, his entourage closely behind him. Analyzing from the look on your face, he teased you by feigning a pout. âDonât worry, baby, youâre still first place in my heart.â You trailed your eyes up to his cocky grin, shooting him a look that would usually shut him up on most days. He shot one back at you as he bent down to your height, his scent captivating you instantly. âSee you tonight then.â He voiced; hints of smugness laced through his tone. Your brow furrowed in confusion as your phone vibrated in your hand. A message from your mum that read, âSecond place is unacceptable. I have scheduled a tutoring session for you this evening. Arrive on time.â Sighing, you sought to find Karina to comfort your growing agony as you wished to sink into the ground and disappear.
âIÂ didnât force you to drink. I told you to stop but you insisted that you drink all your work away.â Karina defended as you made your attempt to scold her. A sigh drawled from your mouth as you watched the time. You wished it would go slower or just stop completely. To your disdain, the day came to an end and as much as you wanted Karina to come with you, she said she would rather not survive awkward silence and would prefer to study at home peacefully. The driveway of your house was long and spiraling, enclosed by a covering of trees that could haunt nightmares and was embedded with terror. Walking in, you found your parents laughing with a male presence who you could barely see. Guessing it was your tutor, you slid upstairs to freshen up before having your evening ruined by scoldings and some novice trying to teach you something you could have very well passed if you hadnât been so ignorant and foolish to go to a party, you shouldnât have found herself at. Emerging out of the shower, you could barely see yourself through the mirror, by the steam collecting itself on it. Coming out of the bathroom, clothed in only a bathrobe, you halted almost immediately in your tracks at the sight of your tutor, Park Sunghoon, sitting at your desk looking more gorgeous than ever.
âGood evening, pretty girl.â The nickname lazily drawls out of his mouth as he examines you, taking in the very rare sight of seeing you in a bathrobe. Vermillion flooding your face, your heart skips a beat from either embarrassment or from the way he was looking at you.
âPervert.â You managed to get out, before going back into your bathroom and locking the door. Letting out a silent scream of frustration, you cursed yourself for even thinking about coming out in your bathrobe while a guest was downstairs, including an extra curse to your parents of letting him come up to your room without asking.
âBaby?â He voiced from outside the door.
âDonât call me that.â You tried hard to sound nonchalant despite the growing embarrassment in your voice.
âBaby,â he said, emphasizing the word to show that he wasnât going to stop. âYou left your clothes out here. Do you need me to get it for you?â
Sighing again, you hummed in agreement as you stepped away from the door and slowly unlocked it. Minutes later, Sunghoon walked in, gaze catching yours immediately and dropping to your figure, lingering for a while until he met your eyes again.
âIf you told me that you looked this good in a bathrobe, I wouldâve considered becoming second place for you, princess.â He teased, leaving your clothes on the bathroom counter and stalking towards you.
âDo you just flirt with anything in a skirt?â You shot back, looking for your nearest escape.
âI didnât know you were in a skirt,â he said, glancing down at your legs suggestively. âBut even if you werenât, Iâd still flirt with you.â Fighting the urge to knee him in the groin, you slid through the space that was left between the two of you. âPervert.â You repeated, standing by the door. He turned to you and feigned a pained expression as he put his hand on his chest in mock agony. âGet out so we can get this thing over with.â You said, feeling more impatient in case he tried another one of his tricks. This time he obeyed and made for the door, but not without stopping to lean in your ear and whisper, âIâll be waiting.â
Closing the door immediately, you tried to soothe your heart rate, which was quickening by the minute.
âGetting tutored is going to suck.â You muttered, quickly getting dressed.
Admitting that you were wrong was something you were never good at. Your pride was your biggest challenge and admitting that even if you didnât drink and go to the party, you wouldnât have passed the subject was something you would never utter. It was extremely embarrassing to have your parents scold you in front of him and it was even worse when he looked over your previous exam answers with an unreadable expression on his face. Despite all the embarrassment you felt, the minute your parents were gone, your wall of pride was lifted again as you laid down on your bed, your phone at its highest volume to display an attitude of being unbothered. He left you alone for a while, amused at either your horrendously wrong answers or your attempt at being nonchalant. As you glanced at your phone, you caught the time. It had been 3 hours since he began and he was still in your house. Fighting your sleepiness, you continued your act, indignantly not letting him win. You felt a presence heat the spot behind you in what felt like minutes later.
âWhat a bad student. Falling asleep when Iâm trying to tutor you.â He started, turning to his side and pushing loose strands of hair away from your face. Moving away from his hand, you picked up your phone finding that you had indeed taken a nap. âYou werenât even tutoring me in the first place.â You retorted, blinking your eyes harshly to feel less tired. âNow that, pretty girl, is your problem.â Glaring at him from the corner of your eye, you sat up and attempted to leave your room to maybe win the hearts of your parents to find another tutor. The door opened slightly to reveal the beaming light coming from the chandelier until the light was cut off as the door was pushed closed by another hand. Now sandwiched between the door and Sunghoon, you looked up at him and for some reason, you felt like the world stopped. Your breath quickened as he took a step closer, his boyish grin igniting his face. âItâs your first time so I wonât do anything but remember my love,â He leaned down to your ear, âBad students get a punishment.â Your heart felt like it was beating in your throat, but you straightened up as he opened the door to exit your room.
âSweet dreams, pretty girl.â Those were his last words before he disappeared downstairs to talk to your parents. You overheard him talking about how the tutoring sessions should be moved to his house rather than yours and due to how fond your parents were of him; his offer was quickly accepted. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back to life, you thought. You briskly decided that you would do anything to see what the punishment was. Not because you wanted to, only because you were just curious.
The months later consisted of studying at his house until it was late, falling asleep on his desk, late late-night calls, and his overly practical activities to get you accustomed to the work. The practical activities didnât have anything to do with the work, but your marks were improving, which was something your parents were very pleased to see. Summer break came and went, and you were still studying with him. A new school semester started, and you were still studying with him. You got used to his endless teasing even if he never did what he said he was going to do. Months ago, you two would hate to be seen next to each other, now you were always seen together. Empty classrooms that were filled with your laughter or pen tapping and leaving the school later than everyone else.
The day before the test on the subject that previously ruined your marks, you were finishing your assigned homework that seemed to never end. You only had four questions, but you were losing your focus, and that resulted in peering over your shoulder to watch him focus on his work. You watched his dark hair cover his eyes as his face was stoic with the occupation of solving a problem. He looked up abruptly and you turned back to your paper pretending to write. He stood up to check on you and set a timer of seven minutes for you to finish your answers. Answering one question, you sighed and turned to him again, falling into a trance.
Finally deciding to put an end to your endless boredom, you pulled your chair to his desk, watching as he didnât falter in his work but continued to solve the question. You picked up a pen and began doodling on his page to attract his attention. âDid you finish your work?â He asked, observing the ink skillfully turning into a bear. âNo,â you replied, a smug smile slowly growing on your face. He glanced at the timer. âYou still have three minutes left. You can at least answer one more question.â He said, turning back to his work. âI donât want to.â Halting your drawing, you turned to face him, watching as a small smile made its way to his mouth. âMy perfect student is being bad. You donât want to know the consequences of it do you?â You stayed quiet as he leaned closer to you. âDo you?â His breath tickled your neck as he brushed your hair away from your collarbone. His gaze traveled from your neck to your eyes, your breaths mingling. Things like this happened more than once. Due to his teasing personality, he never finished what he started. Instead of waiting for him, you initiated the kiss, your arms resting comfortably around his neck. Much to your disapproval, the timer interrupted it. You pulled back, watching his slightly disheveled face pull back in amusement, lips tinted with your lip gloss. He stopped the timer and stood up, enclosing your wrist in his hand and pulling you up.
âTutoring dismissed.â

Dearest tutor
Plot: Star student of the Royal Academy has been sent to tutor the only Prince of the Imperial Royal family of Lilabett Corona. They then somehow enrapture the interest of the prince and his elder sister, the Crown Princess.
Cw: Crown princess! Female! Yandere x Tutor! Gn! Reader x prince! Yandere, mentions of torture, mentions of cult(briefly), blood, yandere tendencies.
A/N: Holy fucking shit it's finally out, I'm sososo excited.
Word count: 5.3k
The student stood outside the gate of the Imperial palace with sweat streaking down the side of their face from the harsh blaze of the sun. They had textbooks held under their armpit, tightly to their right side as their left had awkwardly tried to fix the hair that had begun to fall into their sightline.
[Name][Lastname] was an extraordinary person when it came to academics. They excelled in any subject they were put in and always came out on the very top of the board when the exam results had been revealed.
But they were born with common blood flowing through their veins. Their father was a poor baker and their mother was a school teacher for the orphans by the local children's home. Because their mother had always prided herself with the fact that she believed that knowledge was a better virtue than beauty, their mother would make [Name] read and memorise any textbooks she could get her hands on.
While [Name] considered it good luck that they were able to enrol in the royal academy and had gotten a full scholarship, they were petrified when they found a neatly folded envelope on their dorm bed with a wax seal baring the Imperial family's coat of arms.
The summarised version of the letter read that the imperial advisor acknowledged their extreme academic prowess and wanted them to visit the imperial palace to tutor the empire's only prince in the few subjects he had been recently struggling with in his own classes.
Terrified out if their mind, [Name] agreed in the most cursive calligraphy they could muster with their violently shaking hand.
And now, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the young student will have to spend their afternoon tutoring a bratty prince. Honestly, they were shaking in their boots from the mere thought of having to interact with royalty.
A cough abruptly interrupted the student's thoughts and made them shoot their head up in surprise. A tall man with long midnight black hair stood on the other side of the twisting gate. He looked to be in his late 30s, with a face and aura that screamed 'strict' and 'do not get me mad'. His dark hair was swept up to a waterfall like pony tail at the back of his head. He wore thin lensed glasses that seemed to be nearly falling off the tip of his nose. Hie eyes however were a lovely soft sage colour.
The man placed his right hand above his heart and bowed only his head at the young student. "Good evening mx.[Lastname]. My name is Von Alaric-Holloway. It is the Koinig family's honor to have you tutor your young master." he greeted. His voice was as smooth as his hair. The student nodded at his words. "The honour is all mine Mr.Alaric-Holloway." they said back, not trusting their voice to say anything else without stuttering, or falling over their own words.
Von nodded his head at the guards, giving them the silent order to open the sill closed gates.
The gates swept open as swift as the wind, letting the advisor and the student stand in front of each other face-to-face. Von nodded his head again at the student, signaling them to follow him as he pushed his falling glasses back up the bridge of his nose. He walked gracefully, with both of his hands held tightly behind his back and his head raised high in pride. The student trailed after him, struggling to keep up with his pace.
"The young master is about two years younger than you are, so he is around your age. The empress hopes that you and her grandson will become good friends with each other." Von said in quick voice, not giving [Name] the chance to actually process the words he was saying.
The student nearly nodded their head at his words and kept their head down. Every guard or maid that the pair walked past, bowed their head down, and gave sympathetic looks towards the two. Obviously, [Name] was going to notice by the third or fourth time that they had done this.
"Mr.Alaric-Holloway, why is everyone giving us such pitiful looks?" they asked the him.
Von cocked his eyes towards the sound of [Name]'s question. "I suppose it is because of the rumour that the young master is a troubled child." Von pushed his falling glasses back up the bridge of his nose. [Name] nodded at his words and continued to follow his pace down marble walkway.
Finally the two came to a grandiose staircase with gold linings that supposedly lead to the prince's study.
A young girl stood at the very top of the stairwell.
She looked around a year younger than [Name], so possibly 17 years old. She was short but not too short. She had long golden, nearly glowing blonde hair that was tied into a flattering bun to the back of her head. She wasn't wearing any makeup, which was odd for a noble to do. Her eyelashes were blonde as well. She was also wearing what seemed to be a military training uniform. [Name] noted to themself that this woman looked like a sinister fairy. The only reason she seemed sinister was from the deep red eyes that was embedded into her sockets and the very real and very sharp sword being held in a leather scabbard attached to her left hip.
"Von, may I ask who this commoner is, who is trespassing into my home?" she quipped at the advisor.
Von kneeled on his right knee with his right hand covering his heart again. His face had a thin layer of sweat covering it as he stared intensely at the ground.
"Crown princess, Frieda. The commoner behind me is prince Beta's new tutor. They are here to assist the prince in a few academy subjects that he is having trouble grasping." Von answered in a wavering version of usual tone of voice.
'Wait... what did he say? Crown princess...?' thought [Name] as they stared blankly at the blonde woman.
'SHIT!'
Once they're sense of self preservation finally returned to them, [Name] fell to their knees and buried their head into the cold flooring.
The Crown princess stayed silent at the student's sudden movements. She gracefully walked down the flight of stairs, and stood infornt of [Name]'s bowing head.
"Please raise your heads you two." she commanded in a gentle but firm voice.
[Name] raised their head, only to see that the princess was kneeling infront of them. She held the student's jaw in her right hand and lifted it higher. She turned their head left and right, checking both sides of their face.
She then got back on both of her feet and looked down to the student with a grin. "Take good care of my little brother, alright?"
The student was stunned into silence, but quickly shook their head in agreement. Satisfied with their answer, the princess strieded away, down a seperate hallway from the pair and disappeared from their line of sight.
Von let out a what sounded to be a strangled out sigh of relief. He then whipped his head to look at [Name] with an odd look to his face. He then got up and helped the student back to their own feet, while their feet wobbled from how scared they were from the encounter.
Surely the prince couldn't be that bad if that was the CROWN princess?
He wasn't as bad as they had originally thought.
[Name] had introduced themself to the Sixteen year old prince of the empire, with no response.
He looked nearly identical to the Crown princess. Same glowing gold hair, same deep red hair. His skin wasn't tanned, rather it was a pale white colour, showing how little time he spent outside, the complete opposite of his sister.
The prince was quiet, scarily so. Whenever he was finished answering an exercise, he would look ominously at the young student until they noticed and would mark it for him and then explain how he got whichever answers wrong.
"Do you understand Prince Beta?" [Name] would ask.
The prince would then just nod at their words and write down his corrections next to his wrong answers.
The main sound that echoed throughout the study was the grandfather clock that stood in the corner, signaling the end and beginning of every second. [Name] almost every ten minutes would quickly whip their eyes towards the clock, checking to see when they could leave and run back to their dormitory back on school campus.
Once the Prince was finished with his exercises, he pulled out a thick, leatherback book from a drawer in his office desk. The lettering on the front read in gold cursive 'The rise and fall of cults.'
'Holy fucking shit. This brats' into cults' thought the student.
Instead of feeling an impending sense of neverending doom, they almost squeeled in absolute delight.
[Name][Lastname] was a true crime junkie.
Every murder mystery case, every cult, they knew all about it. The reasons as for the murders, the childhoods of the cult leaders. They. Knew. Everything.
The student cautiously stalked closer to the Prince, like how naive prey checks to see if it's predator is asleep. The Prince lifted his head from the inside of his book to look at the person coming closer and closer to him.
The student asked prudently, "Prince Beta, are you a fan of true crime?"
His eyes almost immediately grew a light in them that was not there before. His cheeks tinged a bit with pink as he looked curiously at the young student. "Are you?" he asked back.
Quickly, the student nodded their head aggressively, agreeing with the prince's question.
A smile stretched onto the boy's face almost immediately. "You are?! You don't think it's an odd interest?!" he screamed out.
[Name] nodded again with an even larger smile on their face. "Yes of course! I find true crime ever so fascinating! I'm even studying to go into criminology when I graduate!"
The Prince's eyes nearly sparkled like a small child's. He immediately got up from his chair and ran up to the young student. He wrapped his fingers around [Name]'s hands and brought them up in a clasp.
He then burst out in exclamation, "You, as of now, are my best friend!"
Being the new best friend of the only Prince of the Empire came with a lot of responsibilities. He now follows the commoner student around the academy grounds like a lost puppy. People had begun to whisper about how [Name] had cast some sort of spell on the prince to make him lighten up so much.
Because of his much more friendly nature, a lot of people had begun to approach him, hoping to become as close to the prince as [Name] did, but all he would do is wrap his arms around [Name]'s left arm and drag them away as he ranted away about a new cultist book he got his hands on a couple days ago.
At the end of the school day, [Name] went back to their dorm room to rest until dinnertime. They did not have to tutor Prince Beta that day since it was a Thursday, so [Name] was able to catch up on their loss of sleep.
They fell onto their creaky bed and groaned from the ache they felt in their bones. The young student shoved their head into the sunken-in pillow and nearly fell asleep.
Suddenly, a loud knock echoed throughout the small bedroom. [Name] groaned loudly again and got up to answer the person outside the door. The student opened their dorm door to be met with a maid in her early thirties. "Mail." she stated and then gently handed the student a neat envelope. That was unusual. Usually, the maids would shove their mail, tear it up, they would even spit on their mail. They did all of this just because the student was a commoner.
The maid walks away from the open doorway, leaving [Name] alone with their thoughts. They closed the door and stalked back to their small, wobbly desk.
The envelope was sealed with a ruby red seal, bearing the seal of the Imperial family. [Name] fingered the envelope open and took the letter out with soft fingers. The letter was written by the Crown princess, written in curly and swirly handwriting. It was an invitation to a small tea party with a couple of other noble ladies who were friends with the Crown princess.
[Name] wrote in simple print lettering a thanks and acceptance to the invitation. They licked and sealed it closed. The student then left to go to the on campus post office to send it to the Crown princess.
The student then went back to their dorm to go and try to fall asleep again.
[Name] stood outside the large glass greenhouse in the back garden of the Imperial palace. Abruptly, a young maid opened the door of the greenhouse to let the student enter.
"Welcome Mx.[Lastname]. The Crown princess has been waiting eagerly for you. Please follow me." greeted the maid as she bowed shallowly. [Name] nodded as well in greeting and followed behind the maid as quickly as they could.
The maid lead the young student through different sections of flowers ranging in shapes, sizes, and colour. What specifically caught [Name]'s attention was a small patch of pink Azaleas. 'How lovely.' thought [Name]
After a little bit more walking, the maid had lead the young student to an elevated seating area, where several tables and chairs were sprawled about.
The Crown princess sat at a table right in the middle. She was wearing a lovely red dress, with a cascading skirt that swept below her ankles. It had puffed out, see through red sleeves thst reached up too her knuckles. Her hair was tied up in a pretty up-do hairstyle, leaving little bit of hair hanging on her shoulders. Overall, she exuded an air of elegance and superiority.
Crown princess Frieda noticed that [Name] was standing on her left side, making her sweep her head in her direction. A small smile graced her face as she welcomed the student, "Good morning Mx.[Lastname], a pleasure to see you once again."
Frieda then stood up, showing her velvet red heels with a large diamond studded into the front of it. The princess pulled out the empty chair that was next to her, and gestured for them to sit down next to her. Understanding her intention, [Name] sluggishly walked up to the princess and sat down in the seat she wanted them to sit in.
The Crown princess sat back down in her original chair and sipped on her tea. Slowly, [Name] reached out and took a cookie from the large platter of baked goods. A maid came to the student's side and poured some tea into their cup as they nibbled on the sweet treat.
"So Mx.[Lastname], you are the commoner who attends the royal academy, correct?" quipped a young daughter of unnamed Baron. She placed her teacup back down in the saucer and with a smile, rested her smiling face on her intertwined fingers.
The student looked up from their cookie with a confused expression painted on their face. Recovering quickly from their confusion, they answered in shaky voice, "Indeed. I am able to attended the Royal Academy due to a scholarship I was gifted on my 16th birthday."
The baron's daughter giggled and whispered something into the woman's ear right next to her. The commoner looked down embarrassingly into their lap, wondering what they had said to warrant such a reaction from the other woman.
The Crown princess was sitting at the head of the table, her head held high, making everyone aware of her presence. The tutor sat on the seat on Frieda's left side, which definitely caused some stares from the other attendees. Definitely wasn't a good look for the poor tutor.
Frieda coughed into her clenched fist and looked at Alicia with a blank look on her face. "The honourable Alicia Crusainia. Please mind your manners towards my guest. Don't forget your place here."
Alicia's face became a bright, hot tomato red and looked down at her lap, similarly to the young student. "Mx. [Lastname]. Lift your head."
Almost under a spell, [Name] lifted their head from their lap and looked at the Crown princess in awe. Frieda was looking at [Name] with an odd looking face with her eyebrow raised. It was a mix of boredom and curiosity.
"You are my honored guest. My little brother treasures you quite a lot, therefore, so must I." She stated as if it was a well known fact.
"Yes, your royal highness." They said in a calm and deft tone.
Freida nodded her head, making her golden curls bounce. She then turned and took another sip of her tea.
"So, [Name]! How was the tea party with my sister?" questioned Beta during one of his and the student's tutoring sessions.
The student looked at Beta with a confused look on their face. "It was alright, nothing special happened." They answer the prince.
Looking confused, Beta's head knocked to the side. "Really? Because from what I heard, my sister ripped some Baron's daughter a new one for making fun of you!"
'Making fun of me? Was that what she was doing?' [Name] thought to themselves.
"It seems that you were unaware. Maybe I could ask my sister to invite you to balls more often so that you can get better at catching on to these things!" Beta suggests with a large smile on his face, proud of his brilliant idea.
"No no no no no! I could barely handle a simple tea party! No way I'll be able to survive a ball where I have to dance!" [Name] panicked.
The prince pouted at their words, disappointed in their answer. He slumps over his desk and makes his head fall into the crook of his arms. His blonde hair fell over his arms, looking like a veil over his arms.
"Mhm.... I mean.... if you can convince your sister, and I don't have to dance... then I'll agree." [Name] softly said, scratching the back of their neck in nervousness.
Beta's head immediately shot up and with an absolutely large smile, he nodded aggressively convincing the student that he may be half bobble head.
"Then you will come to my birthday ball, right?"
[Name] answered, "Of course your majesty."
The student then sat down across from the young prince with their textbook and continued on with their lesson.
After the lesson was completed, [Name] was walking steadily through the velvet covered floors of the castle's hallways. The student placed their hands on the back of their neck and rubbed tough circles into the nape of their neck, relaxing their muscles after two and a half hours of being on the tip of their toes. Even though Prince Beta had claimed them as their best friend, [Name] still stayed on guard around him, just incase he was the type to have extreme mood swings.
[Name] groaned in pleasure as they passed through another hallway of the residential wing of the Imperial castle.
"Mx.[Lastname], have you finally finished your lesson with my brother?" a voice asked behind the student.
The student whipped their head around and caught the eyes of the young Crown Princess.
The Crown Princess was wearing a light cream colored dress with many flowy layers that what [Name] assumed was to let wind in more easily to cool the princess down.
"Your Royal Highness, you are correct. I have just finished mine and the prince's tutoring session." answered the student with a cautious look on their face.
Frieda giggled maturely at the look of [Name]'s wary expression. "Have no worry Mx.[Lastname], I don't bite." she joked.
They nodded at the Princess's words.
"Then why don't you join me in my office for some tea? I'd like to discuss something of importance with you." she proposed.
The student nodded, making the princess walk past their side and leading them towards the direction of her office. The pair walked past several paintings of similar blonde haired individuals, who the student assumed was members of the Imperial family who had unfortunately passed.
The two came to two large wood doors that lead to Frieda's office. One of the guards who were standing on duty, opened the doors for the pair to let them in.
[Name] realised that the Crown princess' favourite colour was a red and gold. Many of the furniture was lined with a deep velvet including the long curtains with gold linings and stitches. The only things that were not those two colours were the floor, her desk and her book shelves that lined every wall of the office.
In the middle of the room were two overstuffed couches with a coffee table in the middle, most likely to hold meetings such as the one the student and princess were about to have.
"Tell Isabella to prepare some tea for my guest and I. Also tell her to bring some of the new pastries we received from the Levan kingdom." The princess ordered one of the knight, making him turn is tail and gallop to where [Name] guessed was where the maid was.
"Please Mx.[Lastname], take a seat." Frieda says while gesturing to the couch.
With unprecedented caution, they shift over to the sofa and sit down and nearly sink in due to cushiness. The princess giggle from their distress as they tried to sit up in the embracing seat.
A maid enters the office with a cart being pushed by her. Ontop was a large teapot and two teacups with saucers. On the level below it was a tower of pastries which [Name] recognised from it's appearance at the tea party from the day before.
The maid sets the teacups and saucers down in front of the pair and quickly prepares the tea and pastries. She then curtsys to the Crown princess, bows her head at the young student, turns on her heel and leaves.
Frieda languidly picks the teacup up and takes a long sip of the steaming hot tea. While [Name] is wandering how the princess is not reacting to the pain of the most definitely hot beverage, Frieda speaks up, "I have asked you to come here with me today because I would like to apologise to you."
She places the teacup down in it's saucer and looks and [Name] with a sympathetic look on her face. "What the honorable Alicia Crusainia did at my tea party was extremely rude and uncaring. She simply has no idea how tough one's life can be."
[Name] stunded in silence. Why was the Crown princess apologising to a commoner like them? Not wanting to deny the princess' words, the student looked down into the light brown of their tea and said, "It's alright. Honestly speaking, I didn't even understand what she had said, so I didn't feel anything."
Frieda looks surprised at their words. "But aren't you the top student at the Royal Academy? How could you not know?" She questioned.
They look embarrassed as they quickly answer, "I am just book smart! And I honestly have a lot of trouble applying my knowledge in real-life situations. I read a royal etiquette book before I left for the palace, but it honestly didn't come in very handy..." they muttered off.
The Crown princess' face morphed into a look of conviction. "Then, after school every day when you don't have to tutor Beta, you will spend it with me, and I will teach you everything you need to know about social cues, etiquette, conversations, everything!" the princess says in a voice that screamed determined.
Nearly jumping out of their chair, [Name] tries to plead that the princess did not need to go out of her way to teach a commoner. The princess merely ignored them and gently ordered them to eat the prepared pastries.
Now the young student's weekly schedule would consist of every Monday, Wednesday and Friday being spent tutoring Beta, and every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday being tutored by the Crown princess. They would almost always leave the palace absolutely drained of their energy, a mere husk of their former self as they rode the carriage baring the Imperial coat of arms back to the dorm houses on the school campus.
The days were feeling longer and longer as Beta's birthday ball's date came closer and closer. The blonde prince would chat with the young student about anything and everything that came to his mind. The friendship between the two of them had become even stronger than before for no particular rhyme or reason. Beta would lug behind them during school hours, despite not being in the same year, and would frighten off the little amount of friends that the student would have had before the prince.
Soon enough, Beta's birthday ball came up.
A formal invitation had already been sent to them, written personally by the spry prince himself in loopy lettering.
The student got dressed in the most formal clothes they had on hand. Sure it was a bit tattered and a few small holes were sprinkled on the ends, but it would be fine as long as no one looked at them! And besides, they're a commoner! They are probably just going to sit in the corner of the hall and only get up to get more food and drinks.
With that plan in mind, the student climbed carefully into the imperial branded carriage once again and rode off to the party.
Soon enough, the young student arrived at the Imperial palace. They stumbled out of the carriage and brisket walked into the large building, not wanting to be noticed by the announcer so that they could hide away as best as can from the nobles attending the ball that night.
They had finally reached the banquet hall, entering and hiding away from plain sight from the noblesmen and women.
"Now then! Announcing the entrance of Crown Princess Frieda KĂśinig and Prince Beta KĂśinig!" announced a high ranking servant from the top of the large staircase in the middle of the banquet hall.
The entire hall was decked to the nines with red, gold and white. The diamonds hanging from the chandelier were burning even more brighter than what the young student assumed was usual. Long banquet tables were lined with finger foods of all varieties.
A servant walked up to the scholar and offered them a tall flute of champagne. Gingerly, they took the glass off the tray, making the servant walk away, and taking a few sips and proceeding to nearly lurch it out from the taste. Okay, they are definitely not a fan of champagne, duley noted.
In that moment, the Crown Princess and the prince entered through the doors at the top of the stairs. Beta held his elder sister's hand in his as he lead her down the stairs. All of the noblemen and women stared in awe of the siblings.
Beta was wearing a lovely white suit with light red and blue jewels sprinkled all of the jacket. He wore blue cufflinks and large rubies were studded into the edges of his collar. This was a big upgrade from the white tunic and black pants he wore during their tutoring sessions, or the navy blue military styled uniform they wear at the academy.
Frieda looked stunning as usual. She was wearing a new cream coloured ball gown, embedded with small diamonds across the fabric. Elbow length gloves covered her arms and gold sleeper rings were slid up her fingers, making them glimmer in the chandelier light. A floral styled tiara sat on top of her head, the same coloured diamonds were set in it as well.
The siblings came to the end of the staircase and gracefully smiled at the crowd. Frieda and Beta were quickly surrounded by the stuffy noblemen and women. [Name] stood aside and stayed out of sight of the siblings.
Beta leaned into Frieda's ear and whispered something to her. His words made the princess look around, almost frantically. The curls in her hair bounce from the movement of her head. Frieda quickly caught the eyes of the commoner, making a graceful smile spread onto her face. She tapped Beta's upper arm and pointed into [Name]'s direction, whispering something into his ear. All of this happened while the said student was slowly sipping on their champagne and gazing outside the stained coloured window.
Frieda and Beta walked past all the noble people, making them gasp and quiet down immediately. "[Name]! You're really here!" announced Beta as he unhooked his sister's hand from his arm.
Frieda smiled in happiness from the sight of Beta speaking animatingly with his tutor. "I am quite glad to see you here Mx.[Lastname]. I hope that you have so far been having a good time."
[Name] nodded at the Princess's words with a chuckle. "I have. No need to worry your royal majesty." Frieda nodded at their words and let her younger brother control the way the current conversation is going.
The cusp of the birthday ball was on it's way. Everyone was jovial and talkative. Frieda had left [Name] and Beta to themselves to that she could converse with the other invitees. Beta stuck to [Name]'s side like usual.
The duo had moved closer to the end of the hall, nearer to the food lined banquet table.
Suddenly, a loud trumpet sounded through the hall, bringing attention to a well dressed servant standing at the end of the staircase. Frieda stood in the middle of the staircase, her dress flowed down the stairs like a flowing river.
Frieda with a calming smile, announced, "I would like to present my gift to my little brother. He and I had a long discussion together about what would be the best present for his birthday. And I would like to present to you all what I had come up with. But first, I would like [Name] [Lastname] to come near the front."
[Name] stood in fear from the sound of their name leaving the princess' lips.
'Shitshitshitshitshitshit.' thought [Name] while they cautiously approached the front of the thick crowd of loudly dressed nobles. When the commoner finally reached the front of the crowd, they stood there, shifting there weight from foot to foot, shivering under the eyes of the Crown princess.
Soon enough, the princess signals at someone from behind her to do something. The large doors open up and a young woman comes tumbling out. An imperial guard grabs what little left of her brown, wet hair and roughly shoves her down the stairs. She stops rolling conveniently infront of [Name]'s feet, dirtying it with blood from a large gash on her right cheek.
Frieda climbs down the stairs and grabs the girl's hair and forces her head up to look into [Name]'s terrified eyes.
"Do you remember this girl Beta?" questioned the Crown princess, looking at her younger brother who was standing right next to his tutor. Beta looked down in awe at the beaten and bruised girl kneeling infront of him and [Name]. He then leaps from his tutor's side and falls into his sister's embrace. "Thank you thank you thank you! Oh, I love this present so so much!"
The young student stared at the bloodied girl with a look of terror in their eyes. This girl looked so oddly familiar. As if they had seen her before.
"Who is this girl, may I ask your royal majesty?" asked the tutor, not looking away from the nearly catatonic girl.
"This, my dear, is the honorable Alicia Crusainia, the one who had made fun of you at my tea party two months ago." answered the princess in a matter of factly tone of voice.
'Holy fucking shit she's fucking crazy!'
Beta made a nearly inaudible squeeling noise of happiness and quickly when back to [Name]'s side. "Now I get to take care of her properly for making fun of you! Aren't you so excited!?"
A thick sheet of sweat covered [Name]'s face as they stared down at their bloodied shoes. Frieda took notice of this action and nearly flung herself to [Name]'s side when she saw the blood on their shoes.
Frieda stomped on Alicia's head making her lower her head for the commoner.
"Now then, let's discuss our future from this time onward. How about we begin with giving you a proper title and moving you into the palace with my little brother and I"

Hello! May i have a request with Jade and the reader who is experienced on hiking and camping.
When reader found out that there is something relate with camping or mountain expedition club (the Mountain Appreciation Club) they immediately wanna join the club.
Jade might surprise (or amused) on how well prepared they were and reader explaining that they were one of the member hikers as a 'Gadget Hiker' and ever went to Appalachian Mountain that is one of a dangerous mountain when at night.
I hope you like the idea and have a good day! đ
Fun Fact! .....mmm, Jade go brr.
He's such an interesting character to me because he plays his cards so close to his chest. Like, we get why Azul is the way he is because we know his backstory. Floyd is pretty much an open book. But Jade? He's just a silly guy who keeps his thoughts to himself. But is still just as terrifying as his twin!
So fun!
Anyway, I love the request, and I hope I do it justice here!
I got a lil carried away :/
ââ*.¡:¡.⧠⌠â§.¡:¡.*ââ
Being bored was something you never thought would happen in this world. There was far too much for you to do, after all! You had to survive, for one thing. You had to help Crowley with his work! You had to clean on campus and fix up Ramshackle the best you could! You had to study for classes that you couldn't even take exams for half the time due to your lack of magic! You had to make sure Grim didn't fail his classes, because if he failed, you would, too! You had to help other students with their emotional issues! You had to-
But after some time, the distress and anxiety it all caused you to think about became...rather mundane. The worry of what might happen and what tomorrow might bring didn't seem so terrifying to think of. It had become your norm, after a while. You weren't too sure if it was a necessarily good or bad thing, but at least you weren't constantly burnt-out and an anxious mess!
With this newfound inner peace, however, came the inevitable "boredom". Or something like it. The craving for something new.
Or something reminiscent.
Walking out of Alchemy class after a particularly rough day, you hoisted Grim up onto your shoulders- as became the norm, since his stubby legs couldn't keep up with your gait- and began the trek back to Ramshackle.
But something caught your eye as you passed by the main corridor of the building. A cork-board with many different posters and papers on it that you couldn't even see the board underneath it anymore. Some of the papers were pinned with the same tack, some were stacked up so tightly that they fell to the ground in a cluster of assorted papers.
There were a variety of things to catch your eye on there- job advertisements, offerings for contracts, odd jobs to do around school, study tips, tutoring help, library hours, all sorts of things that would pertain to students at NRC.
But the one that caught your eye most was a club poster. It wasn't very good, by any means. A plain white background with basic pictures of mushrooms, trees, and fauna placed carefully around the print in the center of the page.
"Mountain Lover's Club
Meets at 5'oclock every Wednesday, Room 2-B"
There were no names signed on the paper to show who owned the club, nor the other members in it, but the word "mountain" was enough to send a delighted chill up your spine.
The intense memories of your old world, of the birds in the trees, the sound of wind rushing through bushes and water running nearby, of the feeling of rocks underneath your feet and rough tree bark scraping across your hands flew through your mind, and you stared at the paper for a minute longer than you should have.
"Oi, Hench-human!" Grim yowled, smacking his paw across your face (gently, of course, and without his claws out) to get your attention "What're you staring at that for? I'm hungry!"
"Hm?" Jolted out of your thoughts, you glanced to Grim with an absentminded smile "Oh, yeah, sorry about that. Let's get back home," as an afterthought, you glanced at the paper one last time, memorizing the time and room number before continuing on your trek "And if you ever hit me again, Grim, you're going to have to sleep on the floor."
đđźđđźđđźđđźđ
"Room 2-B, 2-B, 2-B," You repeated under your breath like a mantra, walking through the halls of the main building an hour after dropping off Grim at the dorm. It felt odd to be in here after class, you thought to yourself. It didn't seem like the same place without a horde of students rushing to their next classes, or idly standing in the hallway taking up space.
Of course, there were other clubs meeting in this building, and occasionally one or two students would pass by you, or you would walk by a room with several students quietly chatting inside, but even so. It still felt empty.
You crossed your arms together, peering at every room's door, looking for the right number combination. Eventually, you stumbled onto lucky Room 2-B! The wooden door was open slightly ajar, so you knocked quietly on it before pushing it open the rest of the way, stepping inside.
It was a classroom you've never been in before, but looked to be something relating to math, given the half-erased equations up on the chalkboard. Chairs and desks were pushed neatly to the walls of the room to allow for more floor space, and there were a stack of textbooks underneath one of the desks. Something that wasn't part of the classroom, you could guess, was the folding table set up in the middle of the room. Set on top of it was a cage, of sorts, made up of glass.
"Hello?" You called out, wincing at how loud your voice sounded in the empty room. Huh. No one was here. But this was the right room, you were sure of it. Maybe the group went out to get something and would be back soon? Either way, you could afford to spare a few minutes waiting on them.
So you curiously stepped forward, towards the table, leaning down a bit to properly look at the cage. A terrarium, you knew by looking more closely at it. Inside was a pile of loose, fluffy dirt, and on the table beside it, laying on a towel, were small containers. Some were filled with more of the dirt, one had different colored moss, one had what looked to be seeds in it, and one (with the lid tightly firm on it) held a mess of squiggling insects that looked similar to the ones on your world, but too different to be exact.
The sound of footsteps, light on the floor, could just be faintly heard before someone entered the room. Before you could turn around, you heard them ask "Can I help you?"
To say you were frightened after turning to face the person would be an understatement. To say you almost had a heart attack would also be an understatement.
You turned, and for a moment, you got a flash of when you had last met this man. Sharp teeth, sharp claws, a predatory look in his eyes as he twirled around your group like a cat playing with his food.
He stared at you, baring his teeth in a sadistic grin, his brother beside him mimicking the same expression.
"Now, now, it wouldn't do for you to accomplish your task so easily now, would it~?"
You let out a breath, taking an instinctive step back. Which, unfortunately for you, was right smack into the table behind you.
Jade's eyes grew wide as the polite, forced smile left his lips, and he moved far too quickly for someone of his size, darting not towards you, but for the objects behind you. He wedged himself between you and the table, grabbing onto the table itself with one hand, and steadying the terrarium and containers with his other arm; while propping you up so you wouldn't stumble any more.
"Careful!" He hissed, as you practically shoved yourself off of him and moved closer to the door.
You tried to catch your breath- it all happened within a few seconds of him coming into the room, and frankly, you didn't have the mental fortitude to process it all as fast as it occurred. Lifting up a hand to signal for him to give you a minute (not that it mattered much anyway, since his back was still to you and his attention on the table), you steadied yourself and took the opportunity to examine the situation.
Jade Leech, one of the twins working with Azul, hunched his long figure over the table, his hands darting between containers to check their contents. The last time you saw him was not just when he and his brother were stopping you from reaching the museum during your contract, but when Azul had overblotted. Both of the times you saw them were more than enough to leave a lasting impression on you.
They were formidable in every sense of the word, and in any form they took. In the sea, they were creatures who could squeeze you so tight you'd burst. Fast and deadly, predatory instincts ran rampant through their blood. On land, they were still just as intimidating, with powerful capabilities in magic and physical strength. Together, the twins were an unstoppable force. Even separate, they were immovable objects. With Azul and Floyd, after the incident was said and done with, you knew where you stood with them. Floyd was an open book- he had no qualms with sharing how he really felt, and although he did occasionally have ulterior motives, you knew that he was pretty straight-forward. Azul was standoffish after everything, most likely ashamed and insecure about his show of grand weakness and "cringe", as Floyd put it. Azul left you alone as long as you left him alone.
But Jade? Whoo, boy, that man was an enigma! He was silent, deadly, and just as cunning as Azul was. He was a man of few words, in most situations, and the thought of getting on his bad side was enough to make your stomach queasy.
Oh, well, best to try and get on his good side now, at least.
"I'm sorry- you just- scared the crap out of me," You began, finally able to regain the use of your voice.
Jade straightened himself up, deciding that the objects on his table were no longer in harm's way, and turned to you, a curious look in his eyes "I apologize, as well, I should have known better," He said softly, that same polite smile plastered on his face again.
Oh. You hadn't expected him to apologize. How....strange.
"Ahem, well, I guess we can put it behind us, then," You continued "Is this the room that the Mountain Lover's club meets in?" Please say no, please say I'm in the wrong room, please say no, please say no-
"Indeed it is," He responded with a gentle nod, his smile widening a bit "Do you have interest in mountains, by any chance, Prefect?"
Say no, say no! "I do," You idiot! "I was wondering what all this club does- are the rest of the members coming soon, or...?"
"Oh, no," Jade chuckled, crossing to the other side of the table and taking a seat busying his hands with building the terrarium, packing the soil down on the bottom "I'm afraid it's just myself at the moment. But as for what we- or shall I say, I- do...I hike in the mountains just off-campus and gather specimens I find interesting. Leaves, plants....seeds," He smiled and held up the container that had some small black seeds in it to demonstrate his point. As he sprinkled some of them into the soil, he continued "I also gather different species of wild fungi to experiment with, both in dishes and otherwise, as well as to grow in the Botanical Gardens on campus."
Glancing back up at you with a look that sent goosebumps crawling up your arms, he asked "If you're interested in joining, or, say...wish to understand the 'club' a bit more, then might I suggest joining me for an excursion tomorrow? I'll be spending all of the late afternoon and night looking for nocturnal flora- plants that you can only find during the nightly hours."
You wanted to say no. As much as you loved the mountains, and nature, and missed your home, you wanted to say no.
But the feeling of a cool breeze on your skin, the scent of the trees and flowers, even the itching feeling of unwanted bugs on your skin forced you to open your mouth and say:
"I'd love to."
Jade's teeth clacked together as he chuckled, the sharp things looking as if they might be ready to tear into your skin at any moment. "Wonderful. I'll meet you at the campus' exit tomorrow at...shall we say 5 o'clock? Most classes will be done by then, and it gives you a chance to get homework done." How thoughtful. As a hindsight, he added "And I do hope all of that contract nonsense is water under the bridge, to quote a land-dweller's saying, right?"
You swallowed thickly and forced a smile, flashing him a thumbs-up "Yup! Water under the bridge- I'll see you at 5 tomorrow, bye-" And with that less-than-graceful statement, you ran out of the room as quickly as you could and back to the safety of your own dorm.

At 4:45 in the afternoon the next day, you set out of your dorm, giving a tearful Grim a goodbye hug and pat. Grim was convinced you wouldn't come back alive. While you hoped otherwise, you couldn't say that you didn't think the same thing. As soon as you told Ace, Deuce, and Grim what you were planning on doing, the entire trio began yelling at you for being such an idiot...and then started mourning for your future demise at the hands of Jade Leech.
"All night, alone! In the secluded mountains! With HIM!" Ace yelled, practically tearing his hair out. As with Grim, you shared Ace's pain. But you needed some sort of connection to your homeworld, and if Jade could show you those mountains and help you establish that connection, then by Sevens, you would go up in the mountains with him!
After the boys finished their pre-funeral for you, you got to work on packing. It was fairly difficult, since you didn't have the privilege of having your old belongings here with you, but skipping out on a class and borrowing some money from Trey (with the promise of working at Sam's shop to pay him back) gave you the opportunity to buy some of the items you would need for the excursion. Bug spray, hiking boots, good pants, a jacket, hat, water, food supplies, sleeping bag (just in case), emergency supply kit, medicine....everything that you packed in your old bag back at home, you bought and packed then and there. Good thing you were used to the heavy backpack, or else you would most definitely be struggling to walk right now! As soon as you tugged that backpack on, all of the old muscles in your back that had been honed to hiking perfection perked right up, almost seeming overjoyed at being used again.
Already at the exit to the school's campus was none other than your new hiking buddy and potential murderer. When he saw you approaching, he made a show of checking the time on his watch "Prefect! You're five minutes earlier than the set time."
"So are you," You pointed out with a small smile.
Jade raised a brow, considering your point "Fair enough. Being early means being on time- being on time is considered being late for some."
"Very wise, Shakespeare." You nodded sarcastically.
"Who?"
"I, uh-" Shoot, new world, they didn't have Shakespeare here! "Nothing. Lead the way, Mister Leech."
Brushing aside your awkward blunder, Jade began to walk off of campus, his own backpack eerily similar to yours, you noticed "Now, during this trip, I will not be sharing any of my supplies unless it is under an extreme circumstance. You had time to prepare ahead, and I expect-"
"I know, I'm good," You interrupted him, holding up a hand as you jogged to walk next to him. You felt better already, more at home, as the two of you made your way to the nearest treeline. The rising slope of the mountain was enough to send an exhilarating rush through your veins.
"Oh, you are, are you?" Jade smirked "We shall see, Prefect, we shall see."
And see he did. The two of you began the trek up the mountain, taking the time to admire every bit and piece that nature had to offer on the way. When an unknown creature came into view, Jade was prepared to pull you back to safety, but was surprised to see you keep your distance, despite curiosity about the animal. When there was a pond, Jade expected you to immediately dunk your water bottle into the water to fill it back up, but was shocked to see you pull out a water purifying device to cleanse it of bacteria before filling up your bottle and offering him the use of the device, as well. Bug spray? You had some already. Bandaid to cover up that nasty-looking scrape from a rock? You had one already out of your bag. When it got dark? You pulled out a lantern of your own instead of mooching off of Jade's light.
"Prefect," He started after a few hours of hiking, his breath heavy from walking so long, but filled with a delighted energy nonetheless "Tell me, how did you know to bring all that you did? I expected to be covering for you left and right, but each time, you leave me in a state of utter confusion."
You laughed at this, pausing to look at an interesting bug perched on top of a branch eye-level to you "Ooh, well, I said that I liked mountains," You explained, catching back up with him "Back on my world, I was pretty into all this nature stuff. Hiking like this was enough of a thrill for me. I know what to pack like the back of my hand, and your world is similar enough to mine that my list of things to pack is still good."
As Jade stopped suddenly and squatted down to dig a peculiar-looking blue mushroom- one of the "nocturnal flora" that he was hoping to find, apparently- you leaned up against a tree.
"I even hiked up on the Appalachian trail way back when."
"The what now?" He asked, pulling out an empty container and gently placing the mushroom inside before locking it and stuffing it back into his bag. He stood up and began to walk again, with you alongside him.
"It's this mountain range back at home. It's considered suuuper dangerous if you don't know what you're doing." You smiled at the memory "There's a lot of things that can go wrong up there. You could get lost, trip and break a leg without getting found for a few days, tons of predators, venomous animals, you name it!" You sighed, closing your eyes for a second as you recalled the feeling you had of traveling that path "Oh, but it was so beautiful..."
Jade was quiet for a moment, and you glanced back over to him to see what if he had wandered off or something. But he was still next to you, as silent as ever. But he was just watching you with a small smile on his face. Not the same smile that gave you the willies, that reminded you of a killer ready to eat his next meal. But one that was a little softer around the edges, one more...genuine.
"What are you looking at?" You asked with a snort, lightly hitting his arm. Imagine if Ace were here to see you hit Jade Leech! He would die on the spot!
"Ooh, nothing, Y/N," He answered quickly, quickening his pace to walk ahead of you "Hurry up, we're nearing the top!"
You just rolled your eyes and tried to match his pace. It was a few minutes before you realized that that moment was the first time he called you by your own name instead of 'Prefect'.
đđźđđźđđźđđźđ
The top of the mountain was truly a sight to behold. There was a small clearing, and a pond that held even smaller fish inside of it. And alongside all of that, there were a multitude of flowers sprouting up everywhere, despite the colder temperature. They had white buds with a pink dash of color on the outer ridges, and a purple antenna-looking thing stood in the middle of the flower.
"Those are commonly called Dead Lillies," Jade explained once you remarked on their odd looks. He was currently unpacking some of his stuff, since the two of you decided to rest a bit before heading back down "They bloom in colder temperatures, and the stalks contain a sappy liquid that can be used as glue- it's popular amongst hikers, mainly because said sap can close up a wound without introducing toxins to the bloodstream, and because the petals taste of honey."
"Huh," You remarked, tugging off your backpack and sitting beside Jade. He offered you one of the nutrition bars he had brought along for the trip, despite claiming at the beginning that he wouldn't give you anything. Despite you having plenty of snacks, you accepted it with a smile "Pretty cool...you sure do know a lot about land for a mer-thing, don't you?"
"Mer-thing?" Jade gave you a sardonic look "I believe the correct term is mer-man, although what would I know, I'm just a mer-thing!"
"Shut up, you know what I meant!" You reached a hand out and shoved him lightly.
"Fufu, I suppose I do know quite a lot about land for a sea-dweller," He nodded "I find the difference in our plants and nature to be...well, rather fascinating! Under the sea, where my brother and I were raised, at least, it's quite dark. Not much grows under there, and what little does isn't quite as pretty as the flora up here. When we first came to live up here, I was taken aback by the stark differences and felt compelled to look into them more."
"Cool," You agreed, laying down in the grass to look up at the night sky.
This trip certainly was quite a...well, trip. You started out uneasy about it all, to say the least. But as the time dragged on, you noticed a difference in how Jade acted. As soon as he was in nature, not surrounded by students, he was...more calm. Relaxed. He smiled genuinely. He laughed.
And, most importantly, he didn't scare the crap out of you. Unless he wanted to- but even then, you could tell that he was just pulling a prank, and didn't want to genuinely upset or hurt you.
"I quite like the stars," Jade admitted once he settled down into the grass as well, using his jacket as a pillow to rest his head on as he stared up at the sky. His expression was one of utter delight, like a child looking at something wonderful for the very first time.
"Oh?" You questioned, propping your head up with a hand as you glanced at him "Are you interested in Astrology, too? Land and sky?"
The eel-mer waved a hand at you flippantly, not bothering to look at you "No, no, nothing like that. I just...like the way they look." With his mouth slightly ajar, the tips of his bottom teeth barely visible, and the shine of the star's lights in his eyes, he looked...oddly at peace. He finally looked his age. He wasn't the terrifying, intimidating figure that sent most of the students at NRC running away like cowards. Right here, he was...just a teenager. A teenager far, far away from his home that somehow managed to make a new home on land, in the solitude of nature.
You quite liked this teenager, you realized.
Maybe you would join the club, after all.

Hi!
Okay so I don't know the grading system where you live but isn't a 70 and 71 still a passing grade? Passing is still something to be proud of. These adults sound awful, like...how are you supposed to feel like you're able to succeed when all they do is make you feel stupid?
Please try to take deep breaths and be kind to yourself. I am so proud of you and I know how hard it can be. These grades are nothing to be ashamed of <3

The Rise of Home Tutors in Noida: Personalized Learning for Academic Success

In Noidaâs competitive academic landscape, where students juggle rigorous school curricula, extracurricular activities, and exam pressures, home tutors have become a game-changer. Unlike traditional classroom settings, home tuition offers one-on-one attention, tailored teaching methods, and flexible schedulingâmaking it the preferred choice for parents and students alike .
Why Choose Home Tutors in Noida?
Home tutors provide a customized learning experience, adapting to a studentâs pace, strengths, and weaknesses. Whether itâs mastering complex math concepts, improving language skills, or preparing for board exams like CBSE or ICSE, tutors design lessons that target individual needs . For instance, visual learners benefit from diagrams and interactive tools, while others may need step-by-step problem-solving techniques .
Another advantage is convenience. With hectic schedules, commuting to coaching centers can be time-consuming. Home tuition eliminates travel stress, allowing students to learn in a comfortable, familiar environmentâfree from distractions and peer pressure. Parents also appreciate the ability to monitor progress closely and communicate directly with tutors about their childâs development.
Finding the Right Tutor
Noida boasts a pool of highly qualified tutors, but selecting the right one requires careful consideration. Reputable platforms like Perfect Tutor and Find My Tuition vet tutors based on qualifications, teaching experience, and student reviews. Many offer free demo sessions, letting parents assess compatibility before committing.
From primary school foundations to competitive exam prep (JEE, NEET), Noidaâs home tutors cover all subjectsâMath, Science, Languages, and more. Their impact goes beyond grades; they build confidence, critical thinking, and effective study habits that last a lifetime .
The Future of Home Tutoring
With the integration of online tools (live classes, digital resources), home tuition in Noida is evolving. Platforms like Vedantu and BYJUâS blend personalized attention with tech-driven learning, making education accessible and engaging .
For parents seeking academic excellence and holistic growth for their children, home tutors in Noida offer the perfect solutionâquality education, tailored to fit.

kiss me right!
in which itoshi rin gets a tongue piercing
itoshi rin x reader: fluff, suggestive (making out), drabble, not proofread + likes n reblogs r appreciated!
it was out of impulse rin thinks, or so he likes to believe.
pictures on your pinterest pinned on a board of piercing â snake bites, helix, central eyebrow piercing that rin canât help but scroll through. its a habit heâs kept up, scrolling through your pinterest boards for ideas: from clothes idea to buy online for you to surprise especially for matching outfits like the chikawa jacket that heâs even wearing now on his bed, from photo ideas that fills his camera roll and polaroids that prints out to be pasted right on the walls of his bedroom for him to admire and unconsciously grin to himself, from date inspiration for him to take you out on on his rare days off without training.
and now heâs lying on his bed right beside you â a silver circle pierced through his tongue awkwardly as he fiddled with it inside his mouth, looking at you whoâs lying right next to him on your phone, undoubtly scrolling through pinterest looking through piercings again and its killing him inside. sure, its his second day with his piercing and he probably shouldnât do anything drastic in case of an infection. yet, heâs getting all fidgety, his hands fiddling with his phone with no purpose, scrolling through his socials that are practically empty or filled with boring football game videos, his legs fidgety and rubbing against yours as a habit and to warm both you and him up in the slightly chilly room, his teeth habitually rubbing against the cold metallic jewellery right in his tongue that he sucks against that was still slightly sore.
what would you do if you see his new piercing? would you look at him in surprise with him never indulging in such fashion stuff with most of his mind filled with football â his accessories pilled on him all belonging to you, his sweaters that are picked up by you or inspired from your pinterest board, his closet either that or only consisting of football jerseys and hand me downs for sae. would you be into it â you clearly like those cool piercing evident from your pinterest board, you always fawn over him whenever he tries something new whether it was that one time where he sported your sanrio hairpin for the first time or wore yours and his matching ring outside with you, your flushed face and stuttering words as you look at him that makes his heart swell.
âhey. i wanna try something.â if thereâs anything rin canât help but give in, its when its regarding you â whether it is when you look up at him with those puppy eyes even as a joke to go to the arcade with you once again to try yours and his luck in the claw machine thatâs clearly rigged (and yet he spends his allowance there still anywhere for a chance for you to beam at him), or whenever you ask him of anything from helping you to tutor you in english or to share his food, or in this case giving in to you whoâs right beside him. after all, he might not get the chance to see you when it recovers anyways â with your exams season approaching and his football competition season colluding soon as well.
and he thinks its already worth it even though youâve just looked up from your phone, your eyes blinking as you tilt your head to face him, and he canât help but smash his lips right against you.
its brash: its as if heâs kissing you for the first time, yours and his forehead knocking slightly against each other, his hands always finding its way to linger on your chin, pulling you even closer right into him as though he wants to melt you and him together, biting on your lips still as yours and his blood merge together. and as usual, his tongue makes his way and finds its home right inside your mouth, as though interlocking with your tongue thatâs warm in contrast to his cold metallic piercing thatâs even more sensitive than usual when it touches against yours. and he can guess you like the new change: with the way your eyes widen and your grip on his shirt tighten as your noise gets swallowed by his passionate kiss, the way your tongue keeps finding its way to touch the cold jewel and linger right on the sensitive spot of his tongue, the way you too pull him even closer by his shirt as you and him melt even closer: only pulling away slightly panting with drool strings connecting you and him.
âdo you like it..?â rin canât help but ask even if he knows the answer: his voice slightly shaky and breathy from the make out session, his cheeks burning still with yours and his face merged against yours, his hands still lingering right on yours as though needy and in need of your affection that heâs practically addicted to at this point.
âyeah.â one word, and you crash your lips against his once again â and rin thinks this might just be the best decision heâs ever made so far.
with the way your tongue feels right against the sore spot on his tongue that makes him whine against you, vibration sending through yours and his mouth that makes his grip your shirt a little tighter as you tug at his jacket as though still pulling him closer as though you and him arenât practically merged together, and the way you are practically going crazy in contrast to how you usually let him take the charge as your hands find your way in to his hair that earns a whimper from him, as you shift yours and his position into a more comfortable one: all whilst not disconnecting yours and his as though it would practically kill you to separate you and him.
and as saliva drools down as he kisses you back, euphoria practically filling him â rin thinks this piercing might be the best thing and heâs sure you think so too as you unzip his jacket with your spare hand.
#itoshi rin x reader#rin itoshi x reader#rin x reader#itoshi rin fluff#blue lock x reader#bllk x reader#bllk fluff#blue lock fluff#rin.<3#sorry i have never ever kissed anyone#if it wasnât clear enough by the kissing scene#i genuinely feel like a victorian women writing this im so sorry.#coming back from hiatus simply for tongue piercing rin⌠most sane thing ever#goodnight⌠iâll spend all night to think about him ****************
