Home: A Ghost Charity Fanzine supports aid for Palestine. I am one of many creators featured in this beautiful zine, and it would mean a lot to me and the greater @home-charity-fanzine group if we could spread the love to an important cause.

A donation of at least $5 gets you 85 pages full of short stories and fanart, all with the theme "home" (edited by the wonderful @floating--goblin)

Hearts that Hold the Home full wordcount: 1029 . . . He was called Dewdrop. A name fitting for a water demon led purely by the morning star, new and glistening in that early light. Unmarred and innocent. Unknowingly, he was one of the souls destined for a new dawn. A new dawn for a group, unbeknownst to him, clinging to an era that was already tempestuous and doomed to failure. A home on a rocky foundation, its last vital supports marked for future removal—its destiny to crumble, secured. But before that. Before that was Aether and Ivy and Ifrit and Zephyr and Mountain. Mist and Omega and too. Old ghouls who taught him about life, about his element, how to speak, read, and write. New ghouls who learned alongside him—told him stories of their time in the Pit, or lives even before then. Through them, he came into being. Out of nothing, thrust into something. Forged by kinship, patience, love, magick, and spirit. They became his friends, his mentors, his lovers, his partners, his packmates. Family . . .

over the last few weeks i've been lucky enough to participate in the @home-charity-fanzine, a fanzine run to raise funds for palestine. the link to buy/donate is now live so if you're at all able, please consider buying it to donate to this important cause <3

i wrote two pieces and to give you a little taste of some of what you'll see in the published zine, here's a little sneak peak of one of them !!

The walk down to the greenhouse is lovely. It’s a pleasantly cool autumn evening and as the two ghouls wander down the hill from the Abbey’s main building, the slowly dimming sky gives way to the glow of the campfire that Mountain spent most of the afternoon getting underway. It’s relatively small, especially compared to the roaring bonfires the fire ghouls sometimes get going in the winter months, but despite its size, the flames are managing to reach bright, orange tendrils into surrounding darkness. Rain knows he’s imagining it but, the excitement warming him from the inside out makes him convinced that he can feel the telltale heat of it on his skin before he and Mountain even reach the bottom of the hill. As they get closer, Rain notices the logs that the earth ghoul has set up around the fire to act as chairs, as well as a small camp oven resting in its glowing embers. At the sight of all of this, Rain has to make a conscious effort to contain his excitement; the last thing either of them want is for him to drop their blankets in the dirt right before they need to use them.

Here's the drawing I did for the Rogue and Gambit Zine! (@rogue-gambit-fan-zine) I'm so proud to have been apart of the project and I had an absolute blast working with such a fun group of people. :] Honestly such a highlight of 2023/2024! Special thanks to @awarriorqueen who wrote a super sweet short story that takes place after the "Nightcrawler" episode. We had the best of times working in tandem on the story and art. Please go check out her page, she has so many amazing stories! 🥰 Also, if you are interested in picking up some of the merch or digital zine head over to @rogue-gambit-fan-zine ASAP and get your order in! The store closes on September 8th and the proceeds go to a great cause! <3

As we're wrapping up the first Rogue & Gambit fanzine, Home & Harbor, it's finally the time to share our works!

My short prose fic contribution was called "Beach Blanket BA-KOOM!" You can check it out on Ao3 (registered users).

Spring Cleaning with Secondo

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Secondo’s eyes snapped open and a groan fell from his lips. He sat up just enough to see the clock. 6:30am. What stronzo could wish for death so much they’d wake him a full hour and 30 minutes before his alarm was due to sound? And before he’d had his coffee at that.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Those knocks were too fast and cheery to be intended for him. Perhaps someone had got the room wrong? It didn’t matter. He’d have to give them a piece of his mind before he attempted sleep again. He pushed the comforter off his body and wrapped a dressing gown around him, preserving what little modesty he had left.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

“Sì, sì, va bene! I am coming!” Secondo complained loudly, loud enough that the offending person may hear him from the other side of the door.

Home is a charity fanzine organized by the Ghost fandom, with its theme being the Ministry and snapshots of daily life within it. The band Ghost and its story has provided hundreds of fans with comfort, community and a feeling of safety - as such, it has become a symbolic home for many of us.

The right to a home is an inviolable, constitutional right recognized by most states in the world. For some, however, it's become unachievable. So far, the invasion of Palestinian land has claimed 34,904 lives (as of May 10th). While we cannot stand in the way of it, we can stand with the Palestinian people and do our best to contribute.

We are privileged to have homes, to have safety, and to have peace. Let us be mindful and share a bit of this privilege with those who've lost everything.
