Headcanon that most demon royalty goes to some fancy private/finishing school. But that Stolas was homeschooled with a private tutor. It was one of the very very few requests his dad granted him and for years it was a tressure memory, one of the few times he /got to choose/ one of the few times his dad /listened/ to him. Only to realize when he enters society that it was another isolation tactic. That everybody had already spent years forming social alliances and building their reputations and social credit. And that there was no room for him to break into those circles, that he /did not know/ the proper unspoken social rules. That his wife has spent years building her clout and that he is once again. Alone.

Suddenly thinking about what jobs the 141 would have if they weren’t in military/police.
Price I’m unsure. He’s a natural born leader, yet I also think he wouldn’t go for anything particularly money-centered like a CEO. He would be in a position that’s more about giving to/caring for the community than anything high-paying. I just, uh… have no idea what that would be.
Ghost? A butcher, a mechanic… any physical labor job where he doesn’t have to interact face-to-face with customers very often is his vibe. Fuck, even a factory job. He wants to be left alone, in the peace and quiet, working with his hands. Calms the mind… keeps him focused.
Gaz? Look, that sweet boy’s got gentle, encouraging, and nurturing vibes. He’s an instructor, or he’s a teacher. Doesn’t matter what age his class is, he’s patient with them and understanding and he will absolutely rip into anybody that is the reason one of his students comes in crying. Heart of gold, that one.
And Soap? I can also see him working as some kind of instructor. Definitely not a teacher, I feel like he would NOT be able to sit through a whole school year of planned shit, the boy’ll get bored and restless. But if any of the four are working with kids, it’s definitely Soap. A swim instructor, a camp counselor…. Anything where he can encourage kids to explore the world and discover themselves through that wonder.

It's so fucking crazy that I got back from working in Oregon for 4 months and now immediately am going to Texas to work for another 2.5 months. I'll have spent a collective 3 whole weeks at home before leaving LMAO

#i just want to enjoy the summer but i feel like i don't deserve to if i'm not constantly trying to become employed again 😭#''apply for jobs then? problem solved'' uh-huh yes but!! i also hate applying for jobs#job seeking can be so incredibly humiliating#first i have to send them a letter BEGGING to be invited to an interview#and then i have to try and convince them that i am actually competent and good at my job even though you have my cv right there#and then afterwards they call me to tell me they found someone who they liked better than me#(or rather someone who was more competent than me judging by their work history etc.)#it's like ''yes we are hiring but not YOU specifically lol''#like. at school if you take a test you get the grade you deserve based on how you did in the exam.#it's something you can actually directly affect yourself#but if someone who's applying for the same job with me has more work experience or whatever they will get hired over me no matter what i do#(at least that's how it usually works on my field)#in which case it doesn't matter if i do well in the interview or nah. bc the other person was always going to be picked for the job anyway#and yes one could say i can then be satisfied if i did my best but it's little consolation when i'm still unemployed!!#and so every time i apply for a job and get rejected it feels like a personal failure#and to avoid that feeling of failure i want to avoid applying for jobs altogether#so yeah. being active in job seeking is more likely to relieve me from this misery but job seeking is ALSO misery. so 🤷♀️#that on top of the fact i don't even _want_ to apply for all the open positions on my field#but i feel obliged to because it's what i have a degree on. and when i'm unemployed i don't have the luxury to choose which ones i apply fo#i can't afford to be picky#I DON'T DREAM OF LABOUR I JUST NEED MONEY TO LIVE BUT I ALSO DON'T WANT TO DO JUST ANY JOB!
