you know youre in a hyperfixation when you try to probably get into another fandom by doing the content i.e. playing the game and just enjoying yourself but find yourself also thinking more about your hyperfixation and just throwing it on as background noise or stop playing so you can return to the hyperfixation <- me playing hollow knight but thinking of transformers while tranformers plays on my second monitor

i really thought that playing hollow knight would curb the transformers brainrot just a little bit but no, it's still there

I haven't had the motivation to draw lately, mainly because I constantly feel fatigued and I'm trying to figure out how to fix that, but something has been on my mind recently.

Anyone who knows me personally would know that I have been really into Tisoquirrel as of late. I think their opposing personalities make for a fun dynamic, not just romantically either, though I definitely enjoy seeing them as a couple. But I was thinking, instead of romantic partners, what if it was more of a teacher/mentor or father/son relationship? What if Tiso was actually just some teenager, possibly only recently turned 18 or something, and Quirrel gives him guidance or makes sure he doesn't do anything stupid. Maybe helping him through difficult times, y'know? I think I'd like to see that. I think something like this could work even if Tiso was older.

Continuation of a head canon I wrote a week ago, the brainrot is unstoppable, I'm afraid.

TW: gaslighting, angst, mention of poor mental health, use of simon and ghost.

Simon had a hard time balancing his new lives. Being a lieutenant in the Task Force 141 and becoming an Egyptian's god avatar were surprisingly not compatible. When Khonshu wanted something from him, big or small, he had to immediately end whatever he was doing and it started to put his colleagues' lives in jeopardy. Especially Soap.

Ghost was starting to see through the diety, Khonshu had let it slip that's first choice was Johnny, which made the masked soldier's blood boil with anger and protectiveness. Was it all a tactic to make him behave ? Surely Khonshu could see through him, hell even read his mind and see his feelings towards his sergeant. To use such a vulnerability was really in character for such a childish vengeance-fulled god.

So he cornered the bird one day. Well, he happened to be alone in the rec room at an ungodly hour of the night so he started yelling insults to provoke his persecutor.

"Listen you old geezer, You seem to think that you can control me by threatening to hurt Johnny. There's one thing you don't know mate, I've been controlling you for my own benefits for a while."

A gust of wind made Khonshu's presence known to the lieutenant and Ghost turned on his heels to face the subject of his anger.

" You think you control a god, bug."

" You think you have it all under control Khonshu, that you have me tucked under your rotten wing."

The cupboard started to shake along with the vibrations caused by the deep laughter Khonshu allowed his hollow throat to give.

" I advise you to how more respect to a god, Simon Riley."

It was Ghost's turn to laugh, a laugh that could rival the god's. A laugh filled with sarcasm and disgust, one that expressed his current feeling with the precision he had when he handled a sniper rifle.

"What will you do if I misbehave ? Take back your powers ? Fine, go ahead. I'll be the same damn killing machine without your constant nagging in my fucking ears you bastard."

A staring contest ensued, no one daring to speak. Only frowning faces and eyes meeting hollow cavities.

"I have no feelings, romantic or whatever the hell you may think towards John MacTavish. He's just a subordinate, an annoyin' and clingy one. You need to find better leverage if you ever want me to listen like a good robot. I am not your past puppets. "

A gasp, then the sound of a cup exploding on the tiles near the entrance made Simon's head wipe toward the now opened door of the rec room. Soap, Johnny was standing mouth open in shock, his hands still in the shape of the cup he was holding mere seconds ago.

"Johnny-"

"Simon what the fuck is happening here, who the fucking hell are you talkin' to?"

Ghost marched quickly towards Soap but the sergeant made two steps back for every one Ghost made.

"Soap, please, I can explain."

"Explain what ? That you fucking fooled me into thinking we were close ? That you missed your psych eval again ? When did you start talking to things that aren't even real Si' ?"

Right, he can't see Khonshu. He just heard him said a bunch of bullshit about how he didn't care about him and how he was annoying. Fucking hell.

"Do not talk- I don't want to hear any of whatever you might say to convince me you're not going bonkers. I'm telling Price in the morning. You're fucked up mate."

With that, Soap left hurriedly. Simon sighed, hands on his chest. An anxiety attack, fucking perfect.

He would get discharged and Khonshu could have him as his slave. Speaking of, the god was above Simon's now kneeling figure, smiling.

He was getting what he wanted. A broken shell of a man, a perfect little ghost.

I only have one fic of my own to recommend, given that it's my first!

Where Chivalry Went To Die (Chapters: 5/???, Words: ~15k) is a post-Embrace The Void ending Hollow Knight fic, centering on the POV of the once-great knight Hegemol. With the Radiance not only defeated, but wiped from the slate of history by the Little Ghost, her infection has been scrubbed from Hallownest; leaving only the scars carved deep into the kingdom. Bugs who had succumbed to her infection are finding themselves awoken with clear minds once more... Including Hegemol himself, who gave his life for his city.

Right now the current chapters are centered on setting things up, but the goal of this fic will be for Hegemol to explore what remains of the kingdom he once served and make some new friends, as well as reunite with some old ones. Closure is a HUGE theme I want to play with in this fic, as well as justice, retribution, the more mundane side of Hallownestian life, and and the limits of one's devotion.

Current characters in fic/heavily mentioned are Hegemol, Nailmaster Mato, and Lurien, though you can expect the dirtmouth crew, a few great knights, and the Pale King to appear if I make it that far into writing <3 (And a few others!)

Like I said this is my first attempt at writing fic after only roleplaying for years, so any feedback or comments are SUPER appreciated <3 I know I'm writing for a super niche set of characters as opposed to the fandom darlings lmfao, but yet I persist!! The brainrot is real

What I'm currently reading: The Hunger Games. I recently read TBOSAS and loved it, and figured i should revisit the original trilogy as i hadnt read it in YEARS.

What I'm currently watching: not big on TV, they're usually too far away for me to see and i don't have streaming services on my personal devices. I mostly watch YouTube, my two favorite/comfort videos are the Lackadaisy pilot and the mostly complete lore of Hallownest by Mossbag.

What I'm currently interested in: the spiderverse brainrot is real. The legend of Zelda, undertale, Steven universe, and I'm slowly drifting back to hollow knight.

I don't remember very well when I was a fan of smg4 but I've known him for many years and I was a fan of him for a long time and obviously thanks to him I found out about murder drones (since he announced it obviously) and to be honest I didn't expect much but still so I expected it to be decent at least, I remember that my own brother showed me the murder drones pilot (my brother also knows smg4 for a long time like me) and we watched the pilot in english because he and I speak spanish and both ways I was able to understand some things and translate them from english to spanish so that my brother understood the context of the pilot a bit.

I really liked the pilot and I just hoped it would be a good series and then I don't know what was going through my head that I never bothered to watch the trailer for season 1 of murder drones or the episodes that had already been released because I was busy with other things that I like like hollow knight or dhmis or I don't remember very well but I see my bestie reblog murder drones art and I was like: "Ah cool, the art is cool", but they didn't even catch my attention at the moment and I don't know when was the moment when I told me myself: "You know what? I'm going to go see murder drones so I'm not confused about some things."

And I decided to watch the pilot again in case I got lost or forgot something but when I started the video, the video was already dubbed into spanish and I was like: "WAIT WHAT- THIS IS REAL??" The thing is that I had already heard before that murder drones was going to have a spanish dubbing and THAT DIDN'T EVEN CATCH MY ATTENTION EVEN THOUGH I AM A FAN OF THE DUBBING HAHA!

But it really caught my attention and I decided to watch anyway, every episode I watched, every time I become a fan of murder drones and LITERALLY THE WORST MOMENT I HAD TO SEE THE V'S "DEATH" WHEN I ALREADY LOVED HER A LOT AND IT'S WAS LIKE : "PUTA MADREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! V!!!!!!!!!!!!! V PORQUE PORQUE PORQUE!!!!!!!?????????????"

Literally suffering in spanish and I became a fan of murder drones at the worst moment HAHAHAHA! :)

Even my brother was already watching the series and me like a dumbass without realizing what I was missing. Even when I told my brother that I cried really hard at the end, he said to me: "Say you cried at the end? Seriously?" And I told him: "BRO I REALLY SUFFER VERY FUCKING HORRIBLE, I FELT LIKE MY HEART WAS BROKEN IN PIECES BITCH!!!!"

But anyway, between my brother and I we were talking about the series and he told me that the most brutal thing he ever saw was chapter 4 and I told him that for me it was chapter 3 and other things like if he understood the plot or what he thinking about the spanish dubbing and all that stuff

I don't know what else to say but now I have brainrot for tadc but I still can't wait to see chapter 7 and I saw the pilot of tadc already dubbed into spanish and it's funny how some voice actors who participate in the dubbing of tadc already I've heard their voices before, while the murder drones voice actors, I hadn't heard their voices before or I don't remember hearing them

I liked how not all the voice actors are not from mexico, some are from argentina or chile or another country, it's curious how tessa's voice actress, carmen mazariegos, is the one who sings the intro in spanish of tadc, I literally already imagined tessa singing the intro lmao!

I enjoy watching the dubbing rather than the original language without offending, I really love the english voices but I feel comfortable listening to them in spanish

but well, I wouldn't want to leave much opinion about dubbing and I don't even know what to say anymore lol

I want to bring some light due to Murder Drones episode 7 being a little late than usual so I was thinking maybe we could all tell how we discovered Murder Drones and what made us drawn to it

Seeing peoples different stories on how and when they discovered a show about silly robots murdering each other is really heartwarming and honestly after everything, this fandom needs some positivity

For me it was in 2020? 2021? Eh whenever they announced it bc I grew up with smg4 but I didn’t really pay close mind to it because I was too hyperfixiated on Amphibia at the time 🦭

That’s when Amphibia ended and I scrolled through tiktok and got a Murder Drones edit on my fyp

I was already aware of the show’s existence so I made the dumbass decision of watching Murder Drones edits and obviously got spoiled like the silly goober I am (I was pretty into Nuzi when I watched this edit of them dancing in the trailer)

I decided to watch it because episode 2 just came out and I was HOOKED

Then it sparked me losing money to the bootleg merch from Aliexpress and spending thousands on the posters
