I don't know if this is more well-known in the US, or if it will be news to others as it was to me, but Mr Christmas is a company founded in 1933 that deals in Christmas ornaments and memorabilia, including tree decorations, music boxes, and other various assorted holiday decor.

Back in the 90s, there were a series of Barbie releases from Mattel affiliated with Mr Christmas, and I find this genuinely much more charming than the Hallmark equivalents. That's just a personal preference - no shade to people who are into the Hallmark ones.

For example, the Barbie Mr Chistmas Holiday Go Round. The dress Barbie is wearing on the carousel looks a little like Winter Princess Barbie, but maybe it's just because they're similar colour schemes.

Either way, the Barbie Holiday Go Round features 25 Christmas Carols. 25! That's more than enough one would think!

If that sounded like foreshadowing, its because the Barbie Holiday Dance Musical featured 30 tracks - 15 carols, and 15 "all time classics".

The Holiday Carriage also features a split of carols and other tunes - the text on the back of the box reveals that these "all time classics" feature "Eidelweiss" and "The Entertainer", among others.

Looking closer, the Holiday Carriage Barbie looks much the same as the Barbie on the Holiday Go Round, and the headpiece does look distinctly different from Winter Princess Barbie. I still think she looks familiar. Is there another Barbie I'm confusing her with?

Penelope would come into view, go up behind him, wrap her arms around his shoulders, kiss his cheek, and then give the most scathing insults in the sweetest voice.

In the background you can see Telemachus trying to teach Grandpa Laertes how to do a fortnite dance not realizing Gramps is passed out on the couch.
