Not a long analysis for this, but I just want to point out something interesting...
Tumblr media
Those girls attempted to summon Tsukasa is classroom 2-2. It may seem random at first, but!!
Tumblr media
Classroom 2-2 was also Amane's class when he was a second year student. His second year during middle school is also when the murder-suicide took place! And although this evidence isn't quite as strong since it's from the anime, the floorboards shown during the murder match the ones inside the classrooms.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now I believe in coincidences, but showing classroom 2-2 during the beginning of chapter 113 just feels intentional to me. This particular classroom has significance, and not just because it used to be Amane's class.
No, I'm starting to believe this is where the murder-suicide took place.

What if Sakura's wish is an upgraded hole demon wish to see the world, and Tsukasa helped her somehow get a body?? Because he already fulfilled it, destroying yorishiro is now their common goal, but what Sakura wanted in the past is a mystery, that's something different
They both want the line between the living and the dead to be erased, Tsukasa became friends with hole demon, and we never saw him talk with a hole in his chest as a ghost after this, they both try to gain freedom from captivity, Sakura protects the world of the living, which is basically what hole demon did in exchange for a sacrifice, she assigns mysteries, and what gives her that right? probably the imbalanced strength of hole demon, she is strongly connected with the seventh mystery, which grants wishes, being yorishiro's assistant and having seven in her name lol, and her name also literally translates as sakura on top of a hill, as I remember, and from the hill they threw kannagi who had reached the right age, but were young, the spring of youth, sakura, cyclicality and impermanence (okay, I got carried away)
Sakura is demon's humanisation in short, hole-chan as she is, and she is too beautiful, as for a person, you know) the perfect shell
Sakura is Tsukasa's personal demon and partner, his goddess and friend, companion and assistant, a patronizing female figure who replaced his mother, who replaced everyone for fifty years, the same anti-heroine together with him
In general, she seems to embody a more reasonable part of demon, since she is responsible for order between shores, maybe it is precisely because of the desire to become human, which Tsukasa fulfilled for her
They both want human-like, Sakura wants to have this form and the ability to go beyond the school, Tsukasa wants to be loved, wants the good of his loved ones
Again, the dynamic of two rejected demonized people who want to be human.... yummy

"Ultima is boring, both as a character and even in his design-"
So anyway, Ultima's design is ever so interesting because besides the (implied) inspirations from Hindu religion and the Vitruvian Man (minus a second set of legs), his body seems to be a bit androgynous as his upper body is undeniably male while his lower part is a little more feminine.
I think if one looks at his final form, for example, you'll see what I mean.
Tumblr media
Not only that, but his two sets of arms have differences between them: as pointed out by @millitron, the first set of arms are slimmer than the second set which are broader and even slightly larger hands.
Tumblr media
(and here I was considering the big difference between the arms was the fact that the second set are a stand-in for Ultima's wings. If you notice, when Ultima is flying/floating, those arms are moving very subtly on his side, as if they're what allow him to use that ability.)
Kinda goes with this massive and lunatic attempt of a theory that fellow Ultima fans and I cooked up, where it's mention the unity of masculine and feminine divine energies and the notion of creation. Besides, of course, the fact that Ultima is the creator "god" of humanity.
And, in my opinion, a shout out to female!Ultima from Final Fantasy Tactics/FFXII.

So I recently got really into godzilla because I saw shin godzilla, specifically his second form and got obsessed with his body horror
And then, with perfect timing, one of my favourite artists and biggest inspirations SnarkyTeaSipper drew a really great gijinka design for him, and that design, Especially the description of it heavily inspired me to make my own take on a shin godzilla gijinka. The whole concept of uneven growth, as alluded to with "both adult and baby teeth growing in at the same time" inspired me a lot, so I went for that idea and exaggerated it a bunch

Every new chapter of TBHK reminds me how long a month is. If I thought waiting for the Night Life arc to come was bad I don’t think I have it in me for this.
Spoilers for the newest chapter:
Aois hair is up. That means the Severance didn’t happen. What if the Clock Keepers prevented the murder of Tsukasa and therefore Hanako being a ghost. And the festival will be for nothing. Nene can’t confess her feelings for someone who doesn’t exist.

Adding my food for thought on this, because there is symbolism in Nene’s class doing Wizard of Oz for this arc, which I’ve seen others already talk about, but Tsukasa singing the signature song has its own symbolism.
Of course the first thing that ran through my head was “Oh, just like Nene.” This moment of him singing reminds me of when we see Nene daydreaming of things she wants or can’t have. Over the Rainbow is a song about that, about a girl who was in trouble and wanted to run away from her home, and dreams of going to the most colorful thing in her life, a rainbow. Something unobtainable, but still she wishes for it. And in the movie, Dorothy says “Someplace where there isn't any trouble. Do you suppose there is such a place, Toto? There must be. It's not a place you can get to by a boat, or a train. It's far, far away. Behind the moon, beyond the rain…”
We know that Tsukasa made a deal with hole-kun and that’s shrouded in mystery in itself and could also play a part here, but I believe this is Tsukasa’s wish. He wants to go somewhere that isn’t here, something that is beyond the afterlife that he’s living now.
