outoftomorrow: . Okay...for an INCREDIBLY STUPID AS FUCK reason--as far as I can gather---having to do with SHIPS of all BS--I was not able to get my mitts on chapter 37 raws for HNY. So, there will be a glaring gap in my translations--BUT a wonderful patron was able to get me raws for 38. SO, go read chapter 38 on my ko-fi. AND MAO. READ MAO TOO. lol. . Being lost and trying to find yourself again
Hey all, long story short, I've sort of lost my way. Again. I know. Rinse. Repeat. You'd think someone past 50 would have a handle on this stuff. Not even close.
Or maybe, more correctly, I'm buried under the weight of too much of everything. I wrote it all out in the first draft of this, and it scared me. No need to scare all of you! No wonder I'm not sleeping all that well at the moment.
And in the middle of all this, well, the desire to write has sort of up and left. Here. In my other gaming world. Doesn't matter. I've more or less convinced myself that I could not write a romance to save my life, and anything involving action is dead in my hands.
I know. This too shall pass. It's happened before. It still stinks.
While I don't think the stroke of midnight will fix everything (I am not the biggest fan of New Year stuff), I'm hoping maybe it will give me a tiny bit of a boost so I can start focusing on taking on things in small batches and not expecting myself (or my husband or son) to get everything on the dreaded "To Do" list done "in a day" right now.
I would like to thank @arrthurpendragon, @historygeekfics, @melomaniac3407, @violetmuses, @chickensarentcheap, @darsynia, @darknightfrombeyond, @megandaisy9 for hanging in there where I am concerned. It means more than you will ever know.
Wishing all reading this peace and light in 2024, and raising a glass to those who have crossed the veil this year, including @starryeyes2000 and Marie, my bestie from high school and the maid of honor from my wedding, both leaving us much too soon.
