I've mentioned some double standard on here before, but it just doesn't stop baffling me how large the double standard is when it comes to the Arab Muslims invasions.
White European Christians colonized and invaded other countries and oppressed them.
Brown Arab Muslims colonized and invaded other countries and oppress them.
White Europeans just ended up pulling back, and aboloshing slavery, and now at large do not do that anymore. Sure it wasn't because of empathy or kindness that the colonies were abandoned, and they still caused immense suffering. The let go because they had to, and growing tension between the European powers being one of the reasons. But it did stop. Europe didn't want to let go of their colonies, but at least they did. It caused suffering, and the after effects still exist to this day. Christianity has been used as a cheap excuse of faith to do this horrible acts, and people call it out every day with no repercussion. As should be allowed everywhere.
The Arab Muslim invasions did the same thing, they still do, they still slaughter and murder indigenous people. They take away the rights of people who are viewed as lesser, and those who refuse to follow Islam. The Muslim invaders accused India of being "Islamophobic" for allowing people of Non-Islamic faiths a refuge in India from a Muslim-neighbour. How does that make sense? And people eat it up. They do all that, yet in the West they're portrayed as world victims because... The West did bad shit? But is that enough of a reason to literally woobify the Arab Muslim invaders? Is that really enough to say that all these people, Indians, Kurdish, Jews, and so many more tens, hundreds of tribes and people should be allowed to be slaughtered? Oppressed? Because the narrative "White people bad" is more important than all these people? Because if it's "Brown against brown we don't care." We already see that with how little attention is paid to the brown people being oppressed by Islamic fundamentalists, like Hamas, or the Gray wolves or whatever. It doesn't matter that women are forced to wear headscarves and killed for fighting against it. That a woman is worth less than a man, and that the voice of 4 women is needed to be even just close to equaling the voice of 1 man. The moment they can cheaply slap the label "White" on some ethnicity, they become awoken from their slumber, and no matter how brutal, how vile, or disgusting the Arab Muslim invaders have been towards the indigenous population, now they're the victims? After centuries of oppression, they're the victims? Because that's the narrative in the West. The Arab-Slavic slave trade took Slavic people and sold them into Muslim slavery. WHITE PEOPLE btw. But it doesn't matter the history of Islam in the world, or even the suffering they brought. Islam is a brown religion so we're too afraid to call it out in the West, because in the West they aren't the dominant power that can just decide to slaughter like in the rest of the world.
Don't get me wrong, I don't care if someone is religious, but the sheer double standard and ignorance of history and world politics is disgusting, and vile, especially when it's used to handwave away and ignore the ongoing atrocities against indigenous people in the world by their Muslim oppressors. Especially when the Muslim oppressors are slaughtering the Jewish people, who's religion and beliefs they so shamelessly stole, and now they want to kill the people who birthed the entire faith they decided to colonize.
Yep.

raised by a loving and large family, sudesh’s parents (a british indian mother and an indian father from america) divorced when he was young, and despite it being tough, it ultimately ended in a bigger and larger family. he loves his step siblings as though they’re his own, particularly his younger sister aria with whom he is the closest to. family gatherings are far but weird, they’re full of love and food.
originally enrolling in karate when he was young — as a form of self-defence against bullies — everything really started when his parents caved in to his relentless begging to join a school wrestling club, which soon lead to mixed martial arts training and camps. while he was academically smart, studying to become a nutritionist always played in the background for somebody who liked to be on his toes.
hard of hearing in one ear due to a complicated perforated eardrum, has trouble locating sounds.
his final score 14-6-1. most mixed martial arts athletes retire in their mid to late thirties and bash was no exception, he was aware of the wear and tear long before retiring, the repetitive concussions already manifesting in headaches and forgetfulness.
besides being a full time nerd, sudesh volunteers his time to help train lesser known athletes whom he thinks have been overlooked.
in stark contrast to his history in combat sport, bash isn’t described as aggressive. he’s never been a person to throw punches unless he’s getting paid, or — more importantly — when somebody is threatening his family and friends. to those passing by, he can appear quiet, aloof, and in his own world, but very much has a light-hearted and mischievous side if the chance arises.
+ will add more when the muse develops!

Refresh your wardrobe with Heaven clothing store in Trivandrum
Introduction:
As we search in the ever-changing landscape of fashion,it is easy to get lost in the sea of trends and fast-fashion. But at Heaven Clothing Store in Trivandrum,we believe that style and sustainability go hand in hand. Our mission is to provide high-quality,fashionable clothing that not only makes you look and feel great but also supports a more environmentally friendly future. As we support more sustainable future fashion clothing
Indian fashion culture
Indian fashion culture is a vibrant tapestry woven with threads of tradition, innovation, and storytelling. At the heart of Indian fashion lies the timeless art of handloom weaving. Across the length and breadth of the country, skilled artisans ply their craft, creating fabrics that are as rich in history as they are in texture. From the luxurious Banarasi silks to the earthy elegance of Khadi, each handloom creation is a testament to India's artisanal heritage, passed down through generations with love and reverence. We cannot talk about Indian fashion without mentioning legendary sarees. The sari, a beautiful piece of clothing, represents grace, tradition, and feminine charm. It comes in many different styles across India, showing the country's diverse culture. Despite changing fashion trends, the sari remains a timeless symbol.
So Heaven Clothing and the saree boutique in Trivandrum know the importance of sarees. We are passionate about sarees and dedicated to providing our customers with the finest handcrafted designs that celebrate India’s rich textile heritage. We provide a huge collection of traditional and special sarees for our customers.
Indian ethnic wear includes lots of different kinds of clothes that people wear for special occasions or just every day. For example, there's the saree, which is a long piece of cloth that women drape around themselves in different styles. Then there's the salwar kameez, which is like a long shirt paired with loose pants and a scarf. It's comfy and can be fancy too. For big celebrations like weddings, women often wear lehenga cholis, which are fancy skirts with matching tops and scarves. Men have their own traditional outfits too, like the sherwani, which is a fancy coat worn with pants, or the kurta pyjama, which is a long shirt with loose pants. These clothes come in lots of different styles and colors, showing off India's rich cultural diversity.
Indian fashion culture extends far beyond the glitz and glamor of the runway, permeating every aspect of daily life. From the ornate bridal ensembles worn during lavish weddings to the everyday attire of bustling markets and bazaars, fashion is an integral part of Indian society. It's not just about looking good; it's about self-expression, cultural identity, and storytelling through attire. In this way, Indian fashion becomes a language of its own, speaking volumes about tradition, status, and personal style.

In Kerala, people wear a mix of old and new styles. Women often wear traditional Kerala sarees, and men wear Mundus, especially for special events. They look very classy, especially when paired with fancy gold jewelry. But nowadays, Western clothes are also getting popular, especially among young people. Even with these new trends, people still love and value Kerala's cultural traditions. You can see this in the colorful and stylish clothes they wear, which show off both old and new influences. Kerala's fashion is like a mirror, showing its rich history and changing identity.
Heaven clothing store really looking forward to Kerala fashion culture; it becomes heaven as the leading Trivandrum dress shop. We set up a special collection of a mix of traditional wear and western clothing for you. However, as fashion changes, Heaven's clothing also changes.

Traditional wears of India.
India's traditional attire is a vibrant tapestry reflecting the country's diverse cultures, regions, and historical influences. The sari stands as an iconic symbol of Indian femininity, with its graceful draping styles and intricate designs varying from region to region. Meanwhile, the salwar kameez, with its combination of a long tunic, loose trousers, and scarf, holds sway in North India, offering both elegance and comfort. For festive occasions and weddings, the lehenga choli steals the spotlight, blending ornate skirts, fitted blouses, and flowing dupattas into dazzling ensembles, particularly popular in the northern states.
In the world of men's clothing, different outfits have their own special place. The sherwani is the go-to choice for fancy events, with its fancy designs and classic look. On the other hand, the kurta pajama is more relaxed but still stylish, making it good for everyday wear or less formal gatherings. In the southern parts of India, the dhoti is popular. It's simple and traditional, worn by wrapping it around the waist and legs gracefully. In Gujarat and Rajasthan, during celebrations, you'll often see women wearing the colorful ghagra choli. It has vibrant skirts, fancy tops, and flowing scarves, reflecting the festive mood.

India's clothing also varies by region. In Kerala, men wear the mundu. In Kashmir, the pheran is common. And across India, the bandhgala, or Nehru jacket, is loved for its classy look. Each outfit has a story behind it, reflecting the culture and history of its region. Together, they create a rich tapestry of colors, fabrics, and traditions that represent India's diverse people.

Heaven Clothing Store in Trivandrum has special collections of traditional wear, not just Kerala's traditional wear. All over India, traditional wear is in our collection. We also have special wedding collections for the bride and groom. You can select any Indian traditional wear from our store.
Office Outfits.
An office outfit refers to the clothes people wear to work in a professional setting. It typically includes formal or semi-formal attire such as dress shirts, trousers or skirts, blouses, suits, dresses, and appropriate footwear like dress shoes. The specific dress code may vary depending on the workplace culture and industry norms. The aim of an office outfit is to look polished, presentable, and suitable for the work environment while also reflecting personal style within professional boundaries. It's all about looking professional and appropriate for your job. For guys, this usually means shirts, pants, and maybe a tie or a suit. For ladies, it could be a blouse and skirt or pants, a dress, or even a professional-looking top with trousers. The key is to choose clothes that are neat, clean, and not too casual. You want to make a good impression and feel confident while you work.
Women's fashion is currently experiencing a dynamic shift towards sustainability, with a notable emphasis on eco-friendly materials and ethical production practices. This trend reflects a growing awareness of environmental issues and a desire for clothing choices that align with values of responsibility and stewardship. Additionally, the athleisure trend remains popular, seamlessly integrating athletic wear into everyday outfits for a comfortable yet stylish look. Oversized silhouettes are also making a statement, offering a relaxed and effortless aesthetic that prioritizes comfort without sacrificing style. Another emerging trend is romanticized cottagecore fashion, characterized by soft, feminine silhouettes, floral prints, and vintage-inspired pieces that evoke a sense of nostalgia and simplicity. Furthermore, there's a noticeable shift towards gender-neutral fashion, with styles and silhouettes designed to be inclusive and accommodating, shaped by factors such as social media, cultural influences, and sustainability concerns, providing women with a diverse range of options to express their individuality and style preferences. to individuals of all genders.
Men's fashion is currently embracing a blend of classic styles with modern twists, catering to a diverse range of tastes and preferences. Sustainable fashion is gaining traction, with an increasing number of brands offering eco-friendly materials and ethical production practices. Athleisure continues to be a prominent trend, seamlessly blending athletic wear with casual and formal attire for a versatile and comfortable look. Tailoring is also making a comeback, with a focus on well-fitted suits, jackets, and trousers that exude sophistication and style. Additionally, streetwear-inspired looks remain popular, characterized by bold graphics, oversized silhouettes, and urban influences. Men's fashion is evolving to embrace individuality and self-expression, with a focus on quality craftsmanship, versatility, and sustainability.

The "dark side" of fashion refers to the less visible but deeply concerning aspects of the industry, characterized by unethical practices and environmental harm. One prominent issue is the exploitation of workers, particularly in developing countries, where labor regulations are often lax. Garment workers endure long hours, low wages, and unsafe working conditions in factories, contributing to social injustices and human rights violations. Moreover, the fashion industry's rapid production and consumption cycle, known as fast fashion, fuels overproduction, excessive waste, and environmental degradation. Processes like dyeing fabrics and chemical treatments contribute to pollution and resource depletion, further exacerbating the industry's environmental footprint. Additionally, a lack of transparency in supply chains makes it challenging to trace the origins of materials and ensure ethical and sustainable practices throughout production. Addressing these issues requires collective action from industry stakeholders, consumers, and policymakers to promote ethical labor standards, environmental sustainability, and transparency in the fashion supply chain.
.
Solution for this is sustainable fashion Sustainable fashion refers to clothing, accessories, and footwear that are designed, produced, and used in ways that are environmentally friendly and socially responsible. This involves considering the environmental impact of materials and production processes, as well as promoting fair labor practices throughout the supply chain. Sustainable fashion encompasses various practices, including using organic or recycled materials, reducing waste through efficient design and production methods, and supporting ethical labor standards. Additionally, sustainable fashion encourages consumers to make mindful purchasing decisions, such as investing in high-quality, long-lasting pieces and supporting brands that prioritize sustainability. By promoting environmental stewardship and social equity, sustainable fashion aims to create a more ethical and resilient fashion industry.

I've lost my patience with the people trying to find work arounds for being racist with dressing up as other ethnicities.
If you view People of Color as a costume, you are a bigot. Plain and simple. We are real people. There is a way to engage with cultures that are not your own in a respectful manor and Halloween costumes aren't it. I cannot believe that in 2022 I and other People of Color have to ask you to be respectful of us.
Guess what! I don't actually think you're respecting my culture when you throw on a generic deerskin dress and a headband with feathers! I see an asshole! I do not care if you've "read all about the history". THAT'S WORSE! Because if you have then you would know the horrors that my people have gone through, the violence that we continue to go through, the very real experiences that make living difficult in a world that still wants me and my family dead. It is offensive.
Indigenous People should not have to tell you to not wear head dresses or go as an "Indian Princess". Black People should not have to tell you to not dress as a "gangster" or wear blackface. Latino People should not have to tell you not to dress up in a sombrero with booze or cholo's. Asian People should not have to tell you not to dress up as geishas or as a "mystic teacher". AND YET!!!! WE DO THIS EVERY YEAR!!!!
There is a difference between being respectful and being a bigot and it boils down to viewing people from other cultures as Human Beings. It is your approach. You wanna know about someone's culture? Great! Ask us! Allow us to share with you as Equals! The minute you stop doing that you become part of the problem.

Day of Commemoration for the Acadian Expulsion
Tumblr media
Image Description: A black and white portrait of the Ovillier Guillot and Eve Vice family, circa the early-to-mid 1900s. Top (children), left to right: Eunice Guillot 1922-Dec; Joseph Guillot 1926-2014; Lenus Guillot 1923-1960; Beulah Guillot 1918-1991. Bottom (parents), left to right: Ovillier Guillot 1897-1967; Eve Vice 1897-1950.
The two daughters wear similar dark, button-down dresses with white doll collars. The mother wears a dark, button-down open-collar blouse or dress. The two sons and the father wear white dress shirts covered by fastened suit jackets complete with ties.
— — — — — — — — —
Pictured above is my 3rd great-uncle Ovillier Guillot and his family. He is the 4th great-grandson of Jean Baptiste Guillot.
Today is the Day of Commemoration for the Acadian Expulsion.
While I have quite a few direct ancestors who lived in Nova Scotia and ended up in France at the time of the expulsion, there's only one family unit that I have been able to confirm was expelled.
That was the family of my 8th great-grandfather Jean Baptiste Guillot, born in Acadia in 1720 with his body given to the Atlantic Ocean in 1758. His family was expelled from Cobequid, Acadia, Nova Scotia to France during the brutal "Great Expulsion" by the British, who wanted to squelch any potential threats from the Acadians and the Mi'kmaq during the French and Indian War.
His son (my 7th great-grandfather) Charles Olivier Miquel Guillot was only 13 in 1758 when they had to take the long, arduous 75-day journey to France. His father Jean, along with 4 of his brothers, never made it off of the ship.
Charles grew up in France where he married and had 3 children of his own. They left France in 1785 to board one of the seven ships paid for by Spain, Le Saint-Rémi, to take them to Lafourche Parish, Louisiana.
Many members of the Wabanaki Confederacy (I believe predominately it was the Mi'kmaq militia), in addition to other affiliated Indigenous tribes and Acadians, who rallied a resistance were slaughtered or expelled. They refused to swear loyalty to the British crown and surrender to British colonists, refused to convert from Catholicism to Protestantism, and refused to allow themselves to be displaced without a fight. Numerous battles took place to stop the deportation with wins and losses across the board.
While no one has one lineage, I was raised as a proud Cajun despite having often felt ashamed of being Cajun for various reasons (like my accent). I even tried my hardest over twelve years to banish anything that could link me to my roots, not knowing the history behind a part of my ethnicity and culture.
Digging into my ancestry has been a wild ride, and there were many things found within my lineages that were not honorable in any way, but this chunk of my history? This has made me proud to be Cajun again.
I wish I had respected it more when I was still able to be immersed in it. I wish I had asked my pawpaw to tell me more stories. I wish I had kept up with Cajun French (AKA Louisiana French). I wish I hadn't let my cultural heritage fall through my fingers.
Many blessings to those who fought and lost their lives against the British colonists in an attempt to secure the freedom of not only themselves but of future generations to come.
[Disclaimer: I am still only beginning to educate myself about this event and am utilizing my current understanding of how events unfolded and who was involved. I apologize in advance for any misconceptions or misinformation regarding the historical accuracy of my comments.]

Kota Doria | Must Have In Summers
We fall short in words while describing the beauty of Kota Doria fabric. This fabric is so graceful that it adds more colours to the summer wardrobe. In the starting Kota Doria was only made of two fabrics, white and beige, but with time, you can see a plethora of colours in this fabric. Cotton was used as the primary fabric, initially, however later on to make it more transparent and premium, silk is added to the weaving of Kota Doria fabric. The Kota Doria is the elegance that makes it more sumptuous during the summer. This fabric has the same strength as cotton plus the lustrous and soft texture of silk. The fine blend of cotton and silk makes this fabric light and breathable, thus making this the most favourable fabric for summer.
Kota Doria is mainly woven in Kaithoon, a small district in Kota. Here Kota Doria is woven with hands and some clusters of Kota Doria can be found in small villages like Bundi, Baran, and Kota, although Kaithoon is the major hub of Kota Doria.
The Weaving Tail Of Kota Doria
The weaving technique used to create Kota Doria sarees is called 'khat', which involves weaving the cotton and silk fibres in a manner that creates a fine-checked pattern. This unique weaving technique gives the saree its distinctive texture and also makes it durable and easy to maintain.
Kota Doria sarees are available in a wide range of colours and designs, from simple and elegant to intricate and heavily embellished. They are often adorned with delicate embroidery, zari work, and other decorative elements, which add to their beauty and appearance. The bright vibrant colours with the fine detailing of embroidery are just the perfect choice for casual outings, visiting friends or family, or maybe shopping. You can easily carry these sarees on formal occasions also by pairing them with a variety of accessories, like oxidised jewellery, bags, bangles and ethnic footwear like mojdi. Wearing a blouse of contrasting darker colours will make a great attire.
Tumblr media
Prints And Patterns On Kota Doria Sarees
The minimal prints on the pastel shades or the whole jaal pattern on the Kota-Doria saree are something that you can not afford to miss for your summer fashion. This fabric is also a great choice to carry in the humid season. This fabric is a mix of cotton threads with other synthetic materials having intricate embroidery designs on it. The intricate designs of embroidered Kota Doria Sarees can make a great choice as gift options for those who can really appreciate traditional Indian textiles. The subtle and soothing hues of this saree with the perfect blend of fine colours with contrasting designs make them a must-have for a colourful collection of sarees.

okay okay i am NOT justifying any of the violence in israel or palestine but just a PSA for those of you who don’t know: Jews have only been regarded as “white” for MAYBE the past 50 or so years. a large percentage of Jews in Israel are BY NO MEANS white - most are the Arab refugees who were kicked out of every single middle eastern country in 1948 (and the jews who stayed died). there’s a large group of Ethiopian Jews who were saved in (i think) the 1960s by the IDF and now live in Israel (because they faced genocide in Ethiopia). Yemeni Jews, Iraqi Jews, Iranian Jews, Indian Jews, Jordanian Jews, Egyptian Jews are all major groups within Israel. the history of Jews in the Arabic-Islamic world is probably MORE extensive than the history of Jews in Europe. The main reason why people in the West think of Jews as “white” is because a lot of Eastern European and Western European Jews (Ashkenazi Jews) live in England and the US, and the Jews we most often see on TV are these Ashkenazi Jews.
Also, Jews historically have never been seen as white (even the white-passing ones). The whole fucking reason Jews have been persecuted was because they weren’t white.
I fully support calling out the Israeli government and holding them to account, but when someone calls Israelis “white settlers” it erases the entire history of persecution that Jews faced. The majority of Israelis I know moved to Israel after being forcibly kicked out of the surrounding middle eastern countries, and the white-passing Israelis I know are all descendants of Holocaust survivors - if you asked any of my family who were killed in the Holocaust if they thought of themselves as white they would have laughed.
Again, this doesn’t justify the violence against Palestinians being committed by the Israeli government. But calling Jewish Israelis “white settlers” is just factually wrong (and I won’t even go into how Jews are indigenous to Israel). Considering I have been approached in clubs and asked “are you jewish” (and then harassed when I said yes), considering that every time I have been a victim of antisemitism I have not been wearing anything that would mark me as Jewish (other than my ethnically Jewish features, which I can’t exactly change) i don’t feel white-passing. it might be less obvious than other ethnic groups, but my Jewishness is certainly obvious to antisemites.

From Traditional to Trendy: Transform Your Look with Fancy Sarees
Introduction
Tumblr media
Sarees are an integral part of Indian culture and have been worn for centuries, symbolizing grace and elegance. While traditional sarees hold a special place in our hearts, there's also a growing trend of embracing fancy sarees that add a touch of modernity and sophistication to your look. In this article, we will explore the world of fancy sarees, their types, how to choose the perfect one, styling tips, and more.
The Rich Heritage of Sarees
Tumblr media
Sarees have a rich history and diverse regional variations across India. They are often made from luxurious fabrics like silk, chiffon, georgette, and cotton. Traditional sarees are known for their intricate handwoven designs, vibrant colors, and exquisite craftsmanship.
Embracing Fashion Trends with Fancy Sarees
Tumblr media
Fancy sarees are a fusion of traditional and contemporary styles, allowing you to experiment with new fashion trends. These sarees incorporate modern elements such as embroidery, sequins, prints, and unique draping styles. By wearing a fancy saree, you can make a bold fashion statement while still honoring the roots of Indian culture.
Types of Fancy Sarees
Embroidered Sarees
Embroidered sarees are a popular choice for weddings and special occasions. They feature intricate threadwork or beadwork that enhances the overall beauty of the saree. You can find embroidered sarees in various designs, including floral motifs, paisleys, and geometric patterns.
Designer Sarees
Designer sarees are crafted by renowned fashion designers, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. These sarees are often one-of-a-kind creations, featuring unique embellishments, unconventional draping styles, and innovative fabric combinations.
Printed Sarees
Printed sarees are a versatile and affordable option for both casual and formal wear. They come in a wide range of prints, such as floral, abstract, geometric, and ethnic motifs. Printed sarees are lightweight and comfortable, making them suitable for everyday wear.
Sequined Sarees
Sequined sarees are perfect for glamorous events and parties. These sarees are adorned with sequins or small reflective discs that create a shimmering effect when caught in the light. Sequins can be scattered all over the saree or concentrated on specific areas like the border or pallu.
Choosing the Perfect Fancy Saree
When selecting a fancy saree, there are a few factors to consider to ensure it complements your style and occasion.
Consider the Occasion
Choose a saree that matches the formality of the event. Opt for heavily embellished sarees for weddings and festivals, while lighter and simpler designs are suitable for casual gatherings.
Identify Your Body Type
Different draping styles and fabric choices can enhance your body type. If you have a petite frame, opt for lighter fabrics and delicate prints. If you have a curvier figure, choose sarees with vertical patterns or slimming designs.
Play with Colors and Patterns
Experiment with different colors and patterns to express your personal style. Bold and vibrant colors make a statement, while pastel shades offer an elegant and subtle look. Consider your skin tone and the occasion when selecting the color palette.
Explore Different Fabrics
Each fabric has its own unique drape and texture. Silk sarees exude elegance, while chiffon and georgette sarees offer a more lightweight and flowy appeal. Cotton sarees are perfect for casual settings and hot climates.
Styling Tips for Fancy Sarees
Blouse Designs
The blouse complements the saree and can significantly impact your overall look. Choose a blouse design that suits your body type and personal style. Experiment with different necklines, sleeve lengths, and back designs to create a fashionable ensemble.
Draping Styles
The draping style of the saree can transform its appearance. You can opt for traditional draping styles like the Nivi or experiment with modern and innovative drapes. YouTube tutorials and online resources can help you learn various draping techniques.
Accessorizing
Complete your fancy saree look with the right accessories. Statement jewelry, such as necklaces, earrings, and bangles, can elevate your outfit. Consider the saree's design and colors when selecting accessories to ensure a harmonious and balanced look.
Taking Care of Your Fancy Sarees
To maintain the beauty and longevity of your fancy sarees, it's essential to follow proper care and storage practices.
Proper Storage
Store your sarees in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Fold them neatly or hang them using padded hangers to avoid creasing. Consider using fabric bags or covers to protect them from dust and moisture.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Follow the care instructions provided with your saree. Some sarees may require dry cleaning, while others can be hand-washed or machine-washed. Treat stains promptly and avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach. Iron the saree at a low temperature or as recommended by the manufacturer.
Conclusion
Fancy sarees offer a delightful blend of tradition and contemporary fashion, allowing you to transform your look with elegance and style. By choosing the right type of fancy saree, experimenting with draping styles, and accessorizing thoughtfully, you can create stunning ensembles for various occasions. Remember to take good care of your sarees to preserve their beauty for years to come.

One thing I hate is someone telling others how they can or can't create their characters. As a student of history lets go ahead and combat this "gatekeeping" of a hairstyle to a particular culture. Where did Dreadlocks or locs originate? Ancient Greece.. Crete to be exact. "Birthplace of the Minoan civilization, and in Thera (modern-day Santorini) show individuals with long braided hairstyles." Also some say in Ancient Egypt. There are depictions of Egyptians with long braided hairstyles, Mummies found with well preserved locs even in wigs. An easy search will tell you Ancient Egypt is largely considered a non-African culture. "Ancient Egyptian civilization was, in ways and to an extent usually not recognized, fundamentally African. The evidence of both language and culture reveals these African roots. The origins of Egyptian ethnicity lay in the areas south of Egypt". "Mainstream scholars reject the notion that Egypt was a white or black civilization; they maintain that applying modern notions of black or white races to ancient Egypt is anachronistic. In addition, scholars reject the notion, implicit in the notion of a black or white Egypt hypothesis, that Ancient Egypt was racially homogeneous; instead, skin color varied between the peoples of Lower Egypt, Upper Egypt, and Nubia, who in various eras rose to power in Ancient Egypt." Yes modern times shows that most examples we have are from Rastafarian's from Jamaica. There it is a religion and cultural practice not just a hairstyle. Jamaica is predominately black but not all Rastafarians are black. "The vast majority of Jamaicans are of Sub-Saharan African descent, with minorities of Europeans, East Indians, Chinese, Middle Eastern, and others of mixed ancestry.""Can only Jamaicans be Rastafarians? Everyone is a Rastafarian. The Rastafarian religion is not even the most popular religious affiliation on the island—it's actually a minority. According to the most recent census, less than one percent of the 2.7 million people living in Jamaica identify as Rastafarian." Many many cultures all over the world for centuries have worn locs. To claim it for only one culture is not right. "By culture: Locks have been worn for various reasons in each culture. Their use has also been raised in debates about cultural appropriation. Evidently, dreadlocks are seen in multiple cultures across the world."
"What's the difference between dreadlocks and locs? Major Differences A notable difference between locs and dreadlocks is that one is a hairstyle and the other is a lifestyle. Locs are cultivated, but dreadlocks aren't. Dreadlocks also often stem from Rastafarian beliefs, which use the style to separate believers from the rest of society."
"Today we see a worldwide trend of locs, which has sparked the debate on cultural appropriation, a term often misused. While it would be presumptuous to say that dreadlocks belong to one particular culture, as a quick research shows, it is certain that the cultural appropriation advocates respond in this way given the many times that hairstyles typically worn by African-Americans are seen “unprofessional” or “dirty” on them but are considered “cool” on others, whether it is worn as a political statement, due to spiritual conviction or simply as a fashion statement. If you have dreadlocks or are considering trying out this way of wearing your hair, the best thing you can do is know the reason why you are wearing them, so that the day someone asks you why you have them, you can say what they mean to you."
Something tells me you won't look at the facts even with quoting and not leaving you to do the research by yourself. So this isnt for you. This is for everyone you made upset over their character hair choices. https: //en. wikipedia.org/ wiki/Dreadlocks https: //theculturetrip.com/ europe/greece /articles/ does-the-origin-of-dreadlocks-stem-from-ancient-greece/ https: //en.wikipedia. org/wiki/ Ancient_Egyptian_ race_controversy
