Small scenario 📝:
Young Hisoka performing magic in front of people in the streets.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Take a good look!"
Hearing this, an intrigued young Illumi stepped in making his way discretely, looking at the strange boy performing.
Hisoka teared his cards into small pieces, gathering them all in his palms, taking a breath and closing his eyes, concentrating on his magic.
Illumi made his way to the first row, completely taken by curiosity, surely this boy couldn't do real magic could he?
Suddenly the boy threw the pieces in the air, creating a wall in front of him but they were flower petals.
How? Illumi's mind echoed as his eyes widened, as the equally shocked crowd gasped in awe.
Hisoka small hand grabbed a falling petal, putting his hand in a fist.
As the flower petals all fell on to the floor, the boy quickly made eye contact with Illumi, sending a shiver of suprise into the younger boy who straightened his back, his face changing into an intimating look.
Instead of turning away -like most people did- Hisoka smiled.
He pressed his fist against his lips, opening it dramatically, showing flower; a flower made of cards.
The crowd awed once again, clapping and cheering as Hisoka bowed and smiled, thanking everyone.
As the crowd dissipated, he made his way to Illumi.
"Wait!" He yelled out at Illumi who was leaving, making him turn around to face him.
"Here!" He smiled and held the flower out towards him. "For you!"
Illumi scanned him up and down, hesitating. He reached out, taking the flower carefully not saying a word.
Hisoka chuckled, finding the small boy giving him the most threatening look with such round eyes adorable.
Illumi looked at the flower then turned his back towards the strange boy, leaving him behind.
"See you soon!" The cheerful voice cried out behind him.
[ ~17 years later. ]
Illumi layed down in his bed, looking over the glass with a rose made of cards on his night stand.
Taking his phone out, he made himself confortable.
"Goodnight Hisoka." He texted.
"Goodnight my dear, see you soon ♥️" He smiled at his phone before putting it down.

How adult trio gonna react with a reader who obsessed with their abs and muscular body~
absolutely in love
Hisoka
He's very physical anyways so having a partner who liked touching on him as much would be perfect for him
Teases you constantly about it
makes you feel them after he works out
Makes you rides his abs or his biceps before taking his dick
sometimes he won't even give you his dick at least not until you've soaked every other part of him
Just loves it
Illumi
He probably wouldn't understand why but is eager to please you
"Is my dick not big enough?" He'd ask sincerely when you suggested riding his abs (or anything else for future reference)
You would assure him that wasn't it and that you just liked his muscles
After an explanation he'd be very eager to try it out
Good luck because he ends up loving it and as soon as you cum on his abs he's knocking that pussy out
Chrollo
At the beginning of your relationship he was definitely very vanilla
And though he remains the gentleman he always was he has definitely become more needy in bed
He would suggest you riding his arms after noticing how you stared at him while he was working out
Your hands always finding a way to latch onto some firm muscle
After calming the red flush of your cheeks you agree
Of course it's amazing and afterwards he shows just how strong he really is

Prompt: Hisoka is reminded of his mother. Rating: 15+ Words: 600 Note:  A drabble I should have posted on Mother's Day!
**Warnings for mentions of child neglect and allusions of human trafficking 💀
--
Hisoka's eyes are staring at something. It is a sliced baguette resting in a basket, cradled in white cloth. His stare is intense.
In his memories, he can see a woman’s hand gripping onto a loaf of bread desperately. He remembers being hungry, but knowing that not a bit of that bread would be for him.
Hisoka is sitting at a table with Illumi in a very expensive restaurant. The restaurant is at the top level of a skyscraper, and has a sweeping city view.
Illumi is talking about nothing in particular, and hasn’t noticed Hisoka’s lack of engagement. Hisoka realizes that he zoned out, lost in a very old memory. It is such a disgusting feeling to him.
“Illumi.”
Illumi pops another bite of his dinner into his mouth.
“Hm?”
“...♠”
Hisoka glances at the bread again before looking back to his date.
“How much are you worth to your parents, do you think?”
Illumi tilts his head at the odd question, but gives it some genuine thought. He rests a knuckle to his chin while he chews. After a moment of contemplating, he finally answers.
“I can’t give any exact amount, but by quick estimate, my services to the family can range from anywhere to the hundreds of billions to tens of trillions of jenny annually.
Despite his curtled mood, Hisoka’s nose still crinkles to crush a smile off his lips. Illumi was always so literate.
“That’s not exactly what I meant. ♠” “I mean…” “When you were born, what was your value to your parents? ♣” “How much would someone have had to offer in exchange for you?”
Illumi is confused by the string of questions, but is intrigued nonetheless.
“What reason would they have to sell their child?”
Hisoka can feel his chest chill, as if icy tar is dripping inside him.
“What if your mother was hungry? If she had no money?” “You don’t think under dire circumstances, that she would trade you for a fortune?”
“Hmm…” “My mother?”
Illumi thinks specifically about her.
“No. I don’t believe that she would need to in order to afford food or anything else.”
“Why’s that? ♠”
“Well…” “She is an assassin too, of course.” “If in a situation where she had no assets or resources, and I was an infant, she would easily be able to work a job in order to afford what she needed.”
“Ah, I see.”
Hisoka takes a sip from his drink. He can see her dirty nails clutching the small stack of jenny tight with joy. There is a feeling on his arm; the tight grip of someone’s hand, much larger than his. Tugging him. Tugging him away from her.
There was so much distress, trying to free himself and return to her. Did she even look up at him again after they gave her the money?
“So, your mother would rather murder someone else than lose her child?”
“Of course.”
Illumi answers like it is so trivial. Hisoka should have expected that of someone with an assassin’s mindset, but still…
“...”
He takes another drink, then picks up a slice of the baguette to butter. He casually takes a bite and drops the memory back into the well it came from.
“You have a good mother. ♠”
Illumi smiles slightly at the comment.
“Yes.”
Illumi continues to talk, this time about random insights regarding his family.
(“My mother worked as an assassin even before she met my father. She is just as skilled as he is, but prefers to watch over my younger brothers now…”)

A new toy meant a new addition to the box however, Hisoka had been putting it off. The time he would spend sewing would be a waste, especially when it was Illumi Zoldyck who was his new plaything. Not only was he strong but he was just plain adorable. Alas, his Illu was ignoring him after their first time in bed together. Hisoka was pretty sure he'd die from withdrawals if he didn't at least get something that reminded him of the assassin. He grabbed the sewing box from the closet, a pink heart with needles, thread, and felt. Perfect for making dolls of his fruits. Sitting by his coffee table he dug through the fabric throwing away colors that would disgrace his darling. Pink was certainly cute on Illumis's cheeks, black was a necessity for his hair and void-like eyes, and the color of his clothes was non-negotiable. illumi’s fashion taste was so… bland, which was why the last time the pair played a game Hisoka had bet that if Illumi lost he'd have to let the magician pick out some new clothes for him. He pulled out all the green fabrics he had and haphazardly tossed them into the usable color pile. A cutting session later he had all the pieces cut out and the doll mostly assembled, aside from his pins all he needed to do was the face but Hisoka was hoping to get some original pins from his darling when he got the chance. He started on the left eye, the process was quite repetitive so he felt the need to let his mind wander. The first time he'd ever met Illumi… The assassin had on a drab purple jacket and black pants, his only saving grace was his hair. He'd attacked Hisoka with god-like speed and Hisoka still remembered the way his blood dripped down golden pins, such a turn-on. The third time they’d met they weren't hostile toward each other. Hisoka watched as Illumi’s hair flew in the wind, blending in with the night sky from the top of the building they were on. Hisoka didn't remember how many times they’d seen each other before but, he did remember Illumi losing that bet and dragging him around different stores. He didn't remember how long they'd done just that but, he did remember Illumi walking out of a dressing room in those green clothes, a crop top, an undershirt, and pants. Which he decorated with pins around the collar and in the middle of the top. Most of all though, Hisoka remembered inviting him over and—
Ah, he'd pricked his finger, Illumi was so good at causing pain. The thought made him grin with lust. Unfortunately, it was better to clean it up. while Illumi looked stunning covered in blood, the man was far too promising for such trifling pleasures.
Past Hisoillu weekend! I saw someone here say that they felt robbed we didn't get to see Hisoka’s obsessed with Illumi phase so i figured it’d be great for this prompt.

Why do fandoms hate non-monogamy?
I find it so confusing that the only hate comments I’ve ever received on ao3 have been about non-monogamy of all things. I don’t consider my writing to be massively shocking or controversial but I do occasionally write about some darker subjects (cannibalism, legal age gaps, couples carving their names into each other’s backs, lesbian serial killers), and these are the fics I typically brace myself for pushback on. Again, even the darker stuff doesn’t get too dark, I tend to fluff things up a bit. But these fics end up receiving overwhelming support, which I’m very grateful for
Still though, when I write stuff like that, you can imagine my confusion when people instead choose to hate on my open relationship fics. At least if it were something pertaining to violence I could be like “okay I get it, this subject makes some people uncomfortable.” When it’s simply stretching the bounds of heteronormativity or interpreting the characters differently, the comments end up feeling particularly aggressive. I’m talking a kind of hate I’ve only experienced within Southern Baptist churches
You literally cannot look me in the eyes and tell me that Hisoka and Illumi would have a monogamous relationship. That is so completely different from their canon dynamic, where they’re already implied to have something going on but Hisoka is seen thirsting over other characters frequently. The first hate comment was about them and I was a little petty about it, I called the commenter out in the description of the fic. I have since then deleted the callout but I kinda wish I hadn’t. Though I’ve heard there’s a hatebot on HisoIllu ao3 so that might have been the problem
The other ship was Cherik, which comes down more to interpretation. Although they are one of my favorite ships ever, I do multiship with them and I feel as though their relationships with women are very valuable to both of them. I know because of the ending to Dark Phoenix, a lot of people like to give them a stereotypical Hallmark happily ever after but I just can’t completely see them like that. At least not during the bulk of the franchise, which is where my fic took place. I think they are soulmates but they have other shit going on, and other people in their lives they wouldn’t want to give up (I’m very attached to Erik’s relationship with Magda from the comics so shhhh). Writing them as an old married couple before they’ve worked everything out just isn’t realistic to me
And Soukoku, omg Soukoku. This one wasn’t a hate comment but someone decided to mention in a bookmark they made for one of my fics that they didn’t like how Dazai and Chuuya weren’t fully together and still saw other people. I don’t write for Soukoku anymore as I really only “ship” them in the manga, their dynamic is perfect as it is and I don’t need to see anything added to that. But that’s simply a matter of preference, there are plenty of fans who do want to see them run off and get married and you know what? If I ended up reading a fic like that, I wouldn’t bookmark it just to complain that I’d prefer if they weren’t married. Soukoku is like the least heteronormative ship ever, c’mon guys. Their dynamic is so unique and complex and you want to see them settle down with 5 kids?? To each their own ig but don’t tell me how you want to see them fanonized😭
Those aren’t the only ships I’ve written open relationships with, at least I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure some of my Fyozai and Nikozai fics have been like that as well. Which makes me even more annoyed because I know it’s just because HisoIllu, Cherik, and Soukoku are massively popular ships within their respective fandoms and people want to see them characterized the exact same way every time. When there’s such an overload of content for all three of them, you’d think people would be less picky. If you don’t like how I write them that’s completely fine, just go read a different fic. I promise you there’s no shortage, Soukoku is one of the top ships on ao3. I don’t really like the way Soukoku and Cherik are characterized by their fandoms so when I write them, I try to provide something different. It’s good to have variety in the type of content that exists for ships, I’ve had a lot of Soukoku fans thank me for highlighting Chuuya’s flaws rather than making Dazai the only villain in their relationship. It may not be for you, but there are some people who will enjoy it. If you don’t like it just move on and read something else
Overall I think the issue here is heteronormativity (take a shot every time I write that word). It’s perfectly fine if you want your ships to have a storybook romance where they get married and have babies at the end, I’m like that with most of my ships. But keep in mind that there are different types of relationships, and not everyone wants to read the same thing. That’s my favorite part of multishipping, some ships don’t exist as full relationships to me and that’s great. It gives me the opportunity to explore different dynamics- friends with benefits, one-sided pining, besties who flirt, emotionally married but never confessed. People really only seem okay with this variety of the ship isn’t popular, or if it’s not the main pairing for a character. Nobody bats an eye when I write Fyozai as non-monogamous because at the end of the day, most of those readers want to see Dazai end up with Chuuya. Popular ships deserve variety too though, a lot of readers are secretly missing that. We’ve seen Soukoku written the same way a million times, so why not mix it up?? One fic of them being non-monogamous won’t hurt anybody. You can still interpret them however you want to, but don’t send hate to fans who don’t share the same opinion
Not everyone has the same relationship experience, and fiction should reflect that. There’s a common complaint that love stories are repetitive, so writers should be encouraged to take a different approach to romance. Those relationships aren’t any less valuable than “traditional” ones, they can be just as meaningful and life-changing. I’ll even bring TBHK into this; while I prefer to imagine Teru and Akane having some fairytale ending together, it’s so refreshing to see most fans giving them an angsty slowburn well into their 30s. It’s something you don’t see with every ship, and it fits them well. That’s the beauty of fan fiction, everyone interprets the characters slightly differently so we get to explore different concepts with them. In that sense, even the overused tropes feel unique every time. So don’t shame someone for stepping further outside popular fan interpretation, they’re just proving some variety that many readers may enjoy
