All of these stories follow Milluki Zoldyck and my OC Kika Mooney, a popular streamer turned Idol who has a taste for danger.

🐱🐟Catfish🐱🐟

Milluki travels to an anime convention to meet his streamer crush, unaware that his sudden disappearance has panicked his parents.

🐟🍥Koi Fish🐟🍥

Kika's dreams come true when she gets signed on as an idol, but things take a turn when Milluki discovers the producer of the company used to be on the Zoldyck hit list.

🎣🤖Phishing Line🎣🤖

The Zoldyck parents have made it impossible for Milluki and Kika to have any time alone together. Milluki develops a Hatsu that allows them to travel into the internet, unaware that a sentient AI is waiting on the other end of the screen.

Phishing line is where I started illustrating scenes to go along with the story. It honestly turned out to be a form of storytelling that I love, so I'm currently in the process of updating Catfish and Koi fish to better reflect this style. Here are some of my favorite scene illustrations from Phishing Line.

What's next?

The Catfish universe is getting an update this year with a fourth story, Hook, Line, and Sinker! I do like to try and write more of the story before I post so I can update it on a weekly schedule. So, it will be a little while before I do so. 🙏

Updating Bigbee's design a bit more for the next "Catfish" universe story! Bigbee's design has gone through a LOT of iterations. Here are some of the first I started with.

Drawing mechanics has never been a strong skill of mine. But over the past few months I've been growing to love it more and more. I even took a props and weapons design course last month and learned a TON about shape language and how to simplify complex mechanical objects! I still have a lot to learn, but I'm happy with Bigbee's current design now. I think it really suits them! :)

As I work on updating Catfish, I'm also working on updating some character designs! It helps me get into the heads of my characters. Can you believe this is the same person? lol Out of costume, I wanted to make Kika's outfit a bit more, well, comfortable. After being in a costume that consists of a wig, false eyelashes, colored circle contacts, and a push up bra made by the gods, I'd want to wear something comfortable too! Ahh yes. Out of costume, Kika's got a bit of an obsession with the anime "Mecha Mobility Suit." I'll have to design her travel bag and phone, but I imagine both are decked out with MMS charms and patches as well. Don't bring it up our she'll never shut up about it!

Doing a little character exploring and redesigning while I work on editing Catfish. Think of these changes as a "version 2" more than a rewrite. The original story was quite literally a first draft, so another attempt with fresh eyes and a whole new understanding of writing has me excited to explore the story again! I'm rethinking what Kika would wear as part of her normal clothes. She'd most likely want to wear something comfortable after being in her idol/streaming costume all day. No make up, messy hair from being under a wig all day, and lose fitting clothes.
