i personally think vil can be shipped with SO many characters (including, but limited to, leona, azul, and idia) just because of his perception of beauty. you’d think with how obsessed he is with his looks he’d be vain and cruel and think beauty is the conventionally attractive features society agreed upon. but he isn’t!! and not a lot of people know that. (my take! :) vil finds beauty not in the conventionally attractive features many others do, he finds beauty in doing the best you absolutely can. in taking care of yourself. and so many of the twst characters do not do that. it’s why yuu is long overdue for an overblot 😭 the characters i listed earlier. (my take!! again! :) leona is super unmotivated to take care of himself and shows a lot of signs of depression!! he stopped giving anything any amount of effort until the spelldrive tournament (which obviously went… not so well) because he felt hopeless and basically?? worthless,, both azul and idia have a low self esteem, i don’t know too much about them (on. book 3… im just a pro listener to my friend’s lore ramblings) so i won’t give my take yet! yuu…….. yuu is…!!!! tries their best of course but. it’s kind of hard to. take care of yourself AND a cat AND all of your friends(?) AND your literal principal at the same time. and also try to have that principal not hang the fact of ‘you’ being poor and having no recourses over your head every time you try and say no when he asks you to help him out with something ridiculous that should not be your problem at all. maybe that was a little specific but. yuu’s been through it is what im getting at. and they are hardly appreciated enough as they should be. now. yuu is so overlooked as a character, I know they're supposed to be a vessel to project onto but that's a whole Guy to me. a whole Person. like there's so many traits that canon gives them. and one of them is "motherly". whether that's WILLING or not depends on the player, but everyone in CANON!!! makes constant comments about how grim is like yuu's little baby and how yuu essentially takes emotional care of so many students. in the recent event ace said something like "there's crowley's official beast tamer" in reference to how yuu just. takes care of these chaotic little things.

vil is literally the only other character who plays a similar role in the story.

... cause chars like trey and lilia are almost there, but distinctly different in their roles, while vil is THE mother.

one of the things that elevates vilyuu to otp levels for me is that vil is one of the only characters in game that treats yuu with respect, and as an equal. I like to think that he kind of admires yuu, and almost looks up to them in a way, for all they're capable of. yuu having not overblotted or melted down (yet) is probably something vil finds fascinating (and kinda worrying), because he knows them well and he KNOWS how much shit they go through. I'd imagine he's almost envious of the self control they have

and I think they're the closest out of everyone in the overblot gang. yes that includes malleus idc. literally everyone in this game is so fucking mean to yuu but vil isn't.

Okay, so i feel like he's a bit of a mess lol. There is a lack of confidence in him, so when it comes to pursuing his person of interest he sort of adopts a facade of over-confidence, especially pertaining to showing off his wealth and priviledge. With his dice i do see a propensity to over-indulge in luxuries and show them off. It's kinda sad because i do feel like he's relationship material, he's not hiding an ugly or mean persona beneath it all. He's loving and he sees the worth and value in many things, including people. It just feels like there is a deep sadness within him that can affect how he navigates a crush situation. I think he'd be very good with his words, lots of flattery and compliments. But he'd feel sort of lighthearted and lacking in depht because he's hiding so many things. This can make him very anxious and self conscious. I think his persona as a celebrity also affects this. Maybe he feels he needs to show up in that exact same way when trying to woo someone, but this can hold him back. He needs to build up trust before he's able to release all these anxieties and negative feelings, so he's the type to prefer close relationships. Idk why but im getting he might prefer to crush on people he already knows like friends or colleagues, just because there is already a sense of closeness there even if its only a little. This sort of gives him the leverage he needs so that he doesnt have to overcompensate or anything. Halloween night. As was said in Mean Girls it’s one of the only nights of the year when a girl can dress in a revealing way and not get absolutely destroyed by other people for it. Now you found that trend a bit cliche but who doesn’t enjoy looking good for a party? It was a party held by the triplets who had quickly become some of your favorite people in the world. Chris especially, he was your best friend. He was like a twin flame for you, plenty of the fans asked if the two of you were dating but you were quick to admit that you are aromantic and asexual. When you first told Chris he seemed a bit confused and proceeded to ask you as many questions as his funny little head could come up with. You didn’t mind answering questions and you actually appreciated that he tried to understand your romantic and sexual orientation. After that it was history, Chris was like the brother you always wanted. You spent almost all the time with each other, going to concerts and sports games together. You frequently traveled with the triplets back to Boston and Mary Lou absolutely adored you. She’d often call you to get opinions on things she was planning to buy. The triplets found this absolutely adorable and would often tease their mom about it. Mary Lou liked to call you her daughter and honestly you didn’t mind it that much. 

You were currently sitting in Chris’s room watching him pick which costume he wanted to go with. Part of him debated going as Steve Harrington again, or maybe just being the 80s jazzercise coach again. You on the other hand had decided to be a little witch. Though in the midst of your scouting the man had gotten closer to you. “Hey hot stuff, what’s your name?” You looked at the man, suddenly feeling the need to grasp your cup a little tighter. “Uh, Y/N. Can I help you?” The man smirked and leaned closer to you, placing his arm on the back of the couch behind you. “Let me make you a drink. You look interesting. But instead of hearing his creepiness again you heard a familiar voice. “Hey bro she said she wasn’t interested.” You opened your eyes to see Chris standing between you and the guy. He was still holding your wrist yet you were focused on Chris and the anger that seemed to radiate off his body. “Hey man, we aren't looking for any trouble. Sweetheart and I were just about to leave. No need to get angry.” The guy said, his grip tightening on your wrist. He tugged you, making you step closer to him and farther from Chris. “I’m not gonna tell you again dude. Leave her alone.” You reached out to Chris, trying to let him know you were ok. That you could handle it and that he didn’t need to worry but it was too late. You saw the guy’s mouth open but Chris was staring at his hand that gripped onto you. 

Within a flash you saw Chris lunge at the guy, connecting his fist to his face and repeating. Suddenly the room fell silent as the creepy guy fell to the floor, CHris stradling to land a few more blows. The upbeat music was all you could hear for a moment before you snapped out of your daze. You quickly moved forward, grabbing Chris’s arm and forcing him to look at you. “Chris stop please!” You pleaded with your best friend, his ocean eyes boring into your own. He stopped punching the guy before letting you help him up. “Get out of my fucking house.” Chris said down to the man. “And do not EVER come back.” The guy looked at you before wiping blood away from his mouth and scrambling to his feet. He looked at Chris’s heaving body before turning and leaving, pushing multiple people away as he made his way to the door. You looked at everyone around you, most were speechless and your eyes landed on Nick and Larray. You sighed and grabbed Chris’s hand, intertwining your fingers before pulling him away from the party. Slowly people began to speak again but it was muffled behind Matt’s door. You shut the door and looked at Chris who looked directly back at you. Without a word you wrapped your arms around Chris’s torso, tears streaming your face as you buried yourself deep in Chris’s chest. He wrapped his own arms around you as he tried to catch his breath. He held you close to him as you sobbed, not wanting to let you go. “If I ever see that guy again I’ll beat the shit out of him.” You smiled gently at that, slowly calming yourself in his arms. “Thanks Chris.” “Of course Y/N. I love you, call me if anyone ever treats you like that again.” “Ok, I will. I love you too Chris.”

So Radiosilence (one-sided Alastor/Vox, with Vox being the one obsessed with Alastor, in case anyone didn’t know) is probably my favorite non-canon Hazbin ship.

That being said, I’ve noticed it’s popular with antis who think it’s not ok to ship (aro)ace characters in two-sided relationships. (It’s debated whether it’s canon that Alastor is aro, personally I don’t think it is but I do headcanon it) I’ve seen people saying stuff like “Radiosilence is the only acceptable Alastor ship since he’s aroace.”

Our system is collectively on both the ace and aro spectrums (we’re not fully aroace, but we did identify that way for a while) and we love that there’s ace rep in Hazbin Hotel. That said, it’s completely fine to ship an (aro)ace character with whatever other character in any way you want. Because they’re 👏 not 👏 real 👏 people 👏. It’s not affecting canon or making the representation disappear in any way.

And another thing: the idea of antis, people who claim to be against shipping anything that would be wrong/illegal irl, shipping Radiosilence is so funny to me. You don’t think a person obsessing over and stalking (canon) an aroace (debatable) person because he’s in love with him (fanon) is in any way problematic?

I personally am into the darker side of Radiosilence headcanons, making it definitely a comship (at least for me) but I’m curious as to if you think it’s a comship in general? Because antis finding out they’re shipping a comship would be SO funny.

starting off with sports, i feel like he’d be an active guy. not like gym bro buff craig kinda stuff you see, he’s definitely a lanky beanpole. but i feel like he does a few sports so has a bit of muscle

first off, basketball. i’m a truther for this one, i don’t see it a lot tho. like, i hc him as being pretty tall, and i don’t have much like canon advice to back this up but that and the fact that there’s a basketball in his garage in tsot- but i think it jus fits him tbh. and also because it’s funny, he’s a total fucking loser nerd, but since yk i’ve gotta stick to canon sometimes, he’s technically popular and attractive, he definitely has like a jock alter-ego or smth stupid like that LMAO

he definitely seems like a hockey guy. like- the enforcer is so him. he’d totally wanna beat people up just cus he can. also i think he’d be a really good skater- i think he’s a pretty well balanced person physically. also, i see kyle as doing hockey, and they’re definitely close. i just see them being friends making sense, so now theyll have a sport together. also- because im insane, ike does hockey too and kyle and craig help him practice

Also hc any of them as aro or ace (except Todd, obviously) doesn't make sense either, since we know damn well that all of them are very romantic and almost all of them are very sexual

I don't see any trans allegories here, especially considering the fact that we have a canon trans character there, Im pretty sure, if the creators wanted Momoe to be trans, they would say she is. Shinji & Kaoru. Yes, this one is super objectionable. Tbh, I can see him being bi, as everybody thinks he is. However, I do like another explanation of his character arc and his relationship with Kaoru, bc It's just much more interesting than him just being bisexual

Well, in the way I see it, Shinji is straight and basically can be only attracted to girls, however, Kaoru is the only person that showed "love" to Shinji and who "cared" about him. While everyone else were rejecting and just using him, Kaoru is the first person who said Shinji he loves him and the only one that basically didn't want anything from him. Who could give Shinji unconditional love he can't get from others. And I really do not think that Shinji loved him "back" in romantic way. Imo, he didn't love him at all, but since Kaoru was the only one who gave Shinji at least some love, Shinji had no other choice than take this love anyways. Just bc it was the only way for him to feel loved in general. And to me this idea reveales Shinji's character much better than just "he's bisexual, that's why he hang out with Kaoru" and "Kaoru exists only for lgbt rep" (also have to add that It's only about original anime, not rebuilds, bc I basically haven't watched it and mb It's different there)

What about Kaoru? Kaoru isn't a human to have feelings or love. In reality he doesn't care about Shinji, he just pretended to love him only to find out what love for humans is. So ofc I don't think he's straight either. He just doesn't have feelings bc he's not a human and not even a person. He's just an angel who pretended to be a boy to know humans better

Ramona (from the movie). I thought this one is basically canon, but for some reason some people still think she's bi. Yes, she had relationship with another girl, but she has litterally said that she was just "a little bi-curious" - which literally means that she's straight and just wanted to have this experience and that she's not wlw in any way, unlike Roxie. Imo, headcanoning movie Ramona is bi is kinda even biphobic, since it sounds exactly like this stereotype that bi girls only play with girls and always chose men anyways

Higuchi. This take isn't as strong, but I just personally don't see her as wlw. She's obsessed with Ryunosuke and has never shown any sign of being interested in Gin, so yeah, I think she's just straight and gives me these vibes tbh

Annie & Hitch. Again, both girls that have shown interest only to men. Annie loves Armin, and, even tho I don't like Aruani, It's litterally canon and even has some build up. And Hitch talks only about men as well. Also I really love her relationship with Marlo and their love was really so important. Yeah, both of them could be bisexual, but I just don't see this. The only hc Im really against is any of them being lesbian, bc it just doesn't make sense

Lute. I mean, she's litterally homophobic and It's basically canon. And she didn't show any signs of being closest gay/bi anyways and Imo she loves Adam. Idk why would she be anything besides homophobic straight. Like, I can see Adam being bi, but Lute? Nah

i definitely saw a post about this somewhere and have adopted it as canon, but the way that house is always overly sexualising people/situations (mainly cuddy/cameron), making sexual jokes and innuendos out of everything, it almost seems like a mask? if you cant feel/dont understand sexual attraction then just fake it til you make it right ?? (its me im ace i do this)

also that hes always hiring sex workers to the point where wilson and the others comment on it multiple times, but it's always to do random things (like translate files, play instruments i think?) and its only implied maybe twice that house actually slept with them

I 10000% agree about the sexual innuendos being a mask/façade!! I personally think part of why he does it is to push people away. spongebob headcannons !!

not captain underpants themed , but yeah !! theres some things about the show i ' d personally change , and heres some of them !!

spongebob is ambidextrous ! it ' s canon , but no one talks about NEARLY enough . it ' s seen in the episode where squidward gets a ticket and is put back in mrs . puffs class . when spongebob is writing his side of the story , you can see him using his left hand to draw !! another instance of this is in the episode where spongebob gets a bad ass splinter , he says something along the lines of " good thing im ambidextrous ! " and proceeds to use his left hand to cook . i think that ' s a really neat feature no one talks about enough .

plankton would have customers , but they wouldn ' t be fish ; they ' d be sharks & whales . both eat almost strictly / strictly fish as their diet , therefore the chum planton makes would make a great meal for them , seeing as chum is just ground up fish !!

the fish DO swear . " fish paste " is pretty clearly " shit " . think about it ; there ' s been multiple times where the fish and main characters alike use " holy fish paste " or just " fish paste " when something goes wrong . there ' s many other words like this , such as " barnacles " , " tartar sause " , and a few others .

if the sweater spongebob ' s grandmother knitted him shrunk in the wash like his pants have done before , he ' d totally give them to gary ; sew the head hole shut and use the sleeves as eye warmers ^_^

despite what everyone says , squidward is straight ( and an ally . spongebob brings him to pride events and he always grumps about it , but has a great time every time they go without fail ) . i will DIE on that hill . people often ship him with spongebob / squilliam , and i can see it , i just don ' t ship it myself . in one episode where patrick thought he was being sent away , he cross-dressed into a woman . in the process , squidward fell in love with her , flirting and all . when he is found to just be a man , he loses all the attraction . in one scene , squilliam is interrogating squidward about his job . squidward tells himself to imagine him naked , and once he does , he says " OH NO HES HOT " . i believe this is just an observation , and he was suprised at the fact he was more attractive than he thought . you can find someone attractive without being attracted TO them !! he looks up to squilliam and is very jealous , but he most likely wouldn ' t want to date him . and spongebob . . . hes just spongebob . he doesn ' t see spongebob in a romantical type of way . he cares about spongebob because in the end , he knows that spongebob is a living thing with a life , just like he is . he ' s only mean to spongebob because he doesn ' t know how to express affection . in my mind , i see their relationship as an equivalent to siblings . squidward hates spongebob , but he truly does care about him , even if he cant express it in the way other people do . he can bully spongebob , but only he can . he gets angry when other people do , as it ' s been shown multiple times . As you stepped out of the building, back in your normal clothes, you saw the car harry said he would be in. You figured he saw you as he stepped out the drivers side of his Ferrari and met you half way.

“Hi.” he seemed almost out of breath before he was pulling you into a hug. You wrapped your arms around him fully and you swayed back and forth for a few before you both let go and walked with you to car.

“How were you’re interviews? For season 3 right?”

You looked at him from the passenger side a little shocked. “They were as good as they could be… how did you know what they for?” it was a stupid question. A lot of people knew who you were, but you really didn’t expect him to.

“Did you expect me to come on our date unprepared?” He missed the way you cocked your head to the side at his words, “Besides, a friend of mine played me your album. Grammy nominated isn’t it?”

You watched the smirk on face form when he looked at you. You shook your head with a laugh and nodded. “It surprisingly is, yes. And date?” his eyes-behind sunglasses- met yours as you pulled to a red light. He took the hand that was on the centre console and laced it with his. "I think youre really pretty Ace, and I know it sounds shallow of me to say that but, based on the short research and interviews and way you treat my fans I can't help but be attracted to you and want to know more about you." he had started driving again but he looked at you ever so often to show you what he was saying was true.

You squeezed his hand back and he smiled. "I don't think its shallow Haza," you came up with a nickname on the spot and you felt him squeeze your hand as you said it. "And I think its very clear im attracted to you and want to know the realest you." You knew he picked up on your wording as he looked at you again before parking the car and getting out making sure you were still buckled in so he could open the door.

"Such a gentlemen." You both laughed at the hidden message and he led you out the car park and into an outdoor shopping mall. You walked around and in and out of stores only bumping into a few fans when you grabbed a bite to eat.

"Oh Harry can we go in. Please?" it was a Gucci store and you knew he probably owned the whole store. He chuckled softly at your begging as he held the door open for you. It wasn't crowded in there which you expected.

Harry followed you around the store as you looked at the bags but your eyes immediately took you over the jewellery. "See something you like?" it was the man Harry had stopped and chatted to when you first walked in. Harry was looking from over your shoulder and you looked up at him. "I think this chain is nice. Simple but still me. And this ring, Ill probably get the ring though. Save the chain for another time." He nodded silently at you and you watched as he made eye contact with the person the man. You watched the man walk away to the back and you looked at Harry. "What did you just do?"

He just shook his head with a simple shoulder shrug. "I didn't even say anything." You hit his shoulder as he started to laugh. "That's the kind of power you hold Harry." You poked at him until he pointed with his free arm to the man who had come back with the ring and something else in a bag. "Here is the ring ma'am." you watched as he opened the box and placed the ring in your hand for you to slip on your self. You placed it on your left middle finger over the sunflower tattoo and marvelled at the fit and perfection that was the ring.

You payed for it at a different station and saw Harry select something and pay for it at a different station. "I did know you were buying something." you watched as he took your small bag and carried it for you. "I didn't either." and that was all he said on the matter while flashing you his signature smile.

You sang along to the songs that played on the radio softly, missing the way Harry looked at you. "Do you want to come in?" you were both standing in the lobby of your apartment. He nodded shyly and you took his hand before walking into the elevator. he squeezed your hand and layed his head on your shoulder. You felt the heat from his body on yours and smiled placing your head on his.

When you arrived on your floor you walked straight head to the one of two doors on the floor. "welcome to my temporary abode." you said flinging your hands in the air nearly missing Harry's face.

It was relatively plain considering you'd only be here for a few more months. "Temporary?" harry asked slipping his shoes off before plopping down on the couch next to you. "yeah im only going to be here until the Grammy's. Then im permanently moving from LA." you noted that he had brought in both bags, probably security reasons- you thought. "And where are you moving?" he had turn to lay along you and you ran your hands through his hair. "across the pond." he hummed a small laugh knowing what you meant.

"I feel like I was meant to be here." you whispered so softly if harry didn't feel the rumble of your voice he wouldn't have known you said anything. "Here in LA?" you chuckled softly as his accent was strong with sleep. "Here with you. It feels so right." he snuggled in closer to you before looking up at you.

"are you going to anymore shows?" you grazed his cheeks with your thumb softly. "I don't think so. I have to prep for grammy's and still have press for OBX. Theres talk about a summer tour. Lots to do." you saw his eyes deflate and you wanted to take back everything you said. "well if I won't see you for the foreseeable future, please let me do this." he propped himself up on his arms before his forehead was connecting with yours. he let one hand fall to your cheek and you placed yours back on his cheeks before pulling him, lips connecting with his.

You both couldn't help the smiles that broke your kiss. You didn't have to say anything to each other. Just looking at each other was enough. "I know you have an early flight tomorrow, I don't want to keep you- well I do- you know what I mean." you watched him giggle before pressing another kiss to your lips. "I do. I haven't even packed yet." you shook your head at him as he got up.

He pulled the bags closer to you both before taking out a rectangular box and opening it. Inside the necklace you saw at the store. "Harry you did not." you covered your cheeks with your hands in shock. "I didn't know when I was going to see you again and I wanted to get you this to remember our first date." you softly wrapped your arms around him and he kissed your forehead.

"let me put it on for you." you turned around and lifted your hair up so that he could clip it. you both sat, just basking in each other. It was eventually time for him to go so you were now standing wrapped in each other at your door. "I don't want you to go. Its been half a day and I already feel like we've known each other forever." he place his forehead on yours, something he did a lot. "I don't want to go either. You've made me feel things today that I didn't know were possible. Ill try to talk to you every day. But I-" he cut himself off squeezing his eyes shut and an angry puff slipped past his lips. "Harry, I understand, you are a very busy person, and I will be too. Im not ever going to get mad at you if you can't reach out to me constantly. All I ask Is that you check in with me at least once a day. Need to know if your alive." he smiled sadly and you kissed his pout.

He kissed you back again and again, separating before things went further. "Bye Haza" you sighed as his fingers left yours. "Not goodbye, see you later."

MY PERSONAL HEADCANON OF THE DRAGON MAID CAST’S IDENTITIES

For context, Dragon maid is the first show i saw that has a same-sex couple in it as the main characters, so i have an emotional attachment to it. However, it is definitely filled with dubious stuff and things that make me uncomfortable!! (thanks coolkyoushinja (sarcastic))

Which is why i have created a version of dragon maid in my head that basically rewrites the series by taking out all the bits of canon that I don’t like and replacing it with my own interpretations! And that’s the version that all these headcanons exist in. 

also i'm sorry that i made like almost all of these characters sort of aroace im projecting!!!

My personal hc for Fafnir and Takiya’s identities are that they are both somewhere on the aroace spectrum but care about each other a lot, so my interpretation of their relationship is mostly platonic but also can be read as romantic because i toe the line between platonic and romantic interactions really closely lmao. Basically they don’t do much PDA, and the closest thing to “romantic” that they do regularly is cuddle with each other. I say cuddle, but its more like they sit really near each other and like... pile. idk how to explain it but you get the idea

Fafnir is aroace and also agender (He doesn’t really think about it until he meets Takiya, but he does deeply care for this human and would not mind being in a “relationship” with him, whatever that is. Also he typically presents in a masculine way but i really think he would not care if he was something else. Gender just isn’t a thing that matters in his mind)

Takiya is asexual and bi but in the most arospec way you can imagine. I don’t think he would label it but it's probably closest to bi-grayromantic and asexual (he’s very sex-neutral and also has a preference for men) Also he definitely still looks at things and think “oh that's pretty” and like fangirls over anime characters because otaku, but doesn’t really feel anything much other than that Also personally I like to think that he’s trans and has been ever since he was in like primary because I can and he’s just like me frfr

“They’re just friends, why can’t people be normal about it” well because i really like their relationship with each other and its really domestic and i think it can be read as more than just a basic “they are bros, pals, buddies”

Tohru gives me unlabeled but really really likes women for sure, also she’s probably polyamorous. 

Personally, I like to think Lucoa is aromantic and also on the ace spectrum (This one is entirely headcanon (as in no canon input); she’d still have a pretty flirty personality, i just think she really likes trolling)

Elma is full on demiromantic and demisexual with a touch of pan, also she is definitely polyamorous! Did you see her marriage arc in the manga (ch 106-111)?? She’s absolutely poly and personally her conversation with tohru in ch 111 really makes me read her as arospec teehee

Kanna and Saikawa are both children so i won’t speculate on their identities too much, but they are definitely not straight, especially Saikawa

Before ya’ll shout at me in the tags n shit: i am, myself, cupioromantic. I am saying this bc this is how i, personally feel abt being cupioromantic, and why its so goddamned depressing (at least for me).

Being cupioromantic, for me, is like a constant battle of wills, almost. It contradicts itself, over and over and over, even though i know- logically, that being cupioromantic isnt a contradiction. It just sucks ass.

bc i aint never gonna have a partner. The fact im aegosexual (or js ace or acespec in more simple terms) js makes that harder, bc i aint never gonna have sex, least not voluntarily. So i cant feel for my partner romantically, which is what like 80% of the world is looking for in a partner, and i cant have sex either, bc i js dont feel that way for ppl. And i never will. (Refering to both sexual attraction & romantic attraction here btw).

so that takes out all my options. Bc i can love people, yes, but not in the way that (most, nearly all) ppl want. But i dont wanna be alone til the end of my days, so where does that leave me?

bc, sure, ill have friends & family & hopefully a cat or two bc, yes, i am a crazy cat person. I actually currently have a cat rn, actually. (His names Bear, hes a black cat & i love him w/ all my heart, but still, my point stands). But i want a partner.

i want someone to kiss, and cuddle, and hug, and love. But bc of what i am, a afab human-person thing whos only social life & interaction other then my parents is via online spaces bc due to my lifestyle i js dont have any other options, an aroace who cant like-like some1 like that and who doesnt want to have sex and doesnt feel sexually for irl people and who never will

i js. I cant have it. Unless i luck out & meet a fellow aro, or ace, or aroace out in the wild, which is- extremely unlikely, tbqh, i wont ever have it. And thats not even the worst part, bc being cupioromantic is, believe it or not, a double-fucking-edged sword.

so, fun fact! I only recently found out that im cupioromantic. Oh, i knew i was aro, certainly, but not cupioromantic bc i didnt know it was a thing. That like. Actually existed. (And by recently i mean last-fucking-night)

previously i hadnt thought abt it much tbqh. Then, my friend brought up the subject of love. I said, “i mean realistically no one will ever love me”. My friend responded w/ a gif that flashed the word “lie!” (LMFAO).

to summarise, what happened was i tried (and failed) to properly explain what i wanted in a partner w/o invalidating myself (and failed, im pretty sure). Then, my friend said “so cupioromantic?”

basically, the whole point of this example is that being cupioromantic and not invalidating urself bc u js dont think ur vaild is. Hard. Very very hard.

Now, i am in no way saying cupioromantic is not a vaild identity/romantic orientation, bc it completely is. This whole post is js me trying to deal w/ the fact i dont think im vaild when i know, logically that i am. My brain is js- having a hard time accepting that, ig.
