I haven’t studied hazbin hotel designs at all unsurprisingly, but this doesn’t look like that art style to me!

Maybe try a shorter cape, lose the top hat? He’d have more ‘weird little guy’ vibes then, I think. Also, diversifying the color scheme may help? Add some blues or something? Idk, Spitballing here. If you’re not happy with it the only way to change that is if you keep tinkering with it unfortunately X’]
