I'm sorry but the irony of Nico calling Max unprofessional is sending me so bad like sir there's an entire garage full of people, who were literally in the trenches trying to survive the Brocedes fallout while just doing their jobs, who might have a few things to say about your (& Lewis') level of professionalism at that time 😭✋️
Me when I see your very accurate chubby stv Shane art (I’ve seems way to many people make him skinny or with abs and I’m tearing out my beautiful, silky hair rn)
Listen…Shane in every shape is totally valid!!! So dont tear out your goregeous locks. We all just need to agree this man wears crocs with socks and khakis hahahhha
i referenced this photo for the shane with the abs just incase anyone is wondering. hahhaha
red bull: daniel’s bad habits from mclaren are fixed, he did well in the sim, and his tire test was so good that we immediately knew he was ready to be in a car.
alpha tauri & yuki: daniel’s feedback on the car has been instrumental, and he performed so well in difficult race conditions even though he didn’t have any upgrades and had some bad luck.
rando twitter user who doesn’t have the data, didn’t know liam lawson’s name three weeks ago, and constantly insults the way red bull quickly drops drivers who don’t perform: they’re only letting him drive for pr even though he’s a washed up failure.
i find it funny when people are like "if youre gonna be like that you can just leave" expecting you to immediately change your attitude and beg to be allowed to stay. i didnt even want to be here in the first place if you say the words "you can just leave" im outta there so fast i leave a me shaped hole in the wall.
especially if that person has been my employer for 10 whole minutes and has done nothing but rapid fire everything wrong with my outfit when they didnt tell me the dress code besides "black shirt and black pants" and then start getting rude and disrespectful when i start getting overwhelmed and ask if i can come in on thursday instead of wednesday so i can fix everything wrong with my uniform.
"if youre gonna be like that we cant have you here" ok bye! am i supposed to get on my hands and knees and beg you to let me stay? you have already shown enough disrespect for the whole day in 10 minutes when i have made it abundantly clear that this is my first job EVER and i am extremely nervous. you will not disrespect me just because you are my boss. respect is earned and that goes for people in positions of "authority" as well
(i write authority in quotes becasue what the hell are you gonna do? fire me? i just left! you have no real authority in the real world and you take that out on the people who work for you, because youre a weak little man with no control over his own life, who conditioned them into thinking they have no other real option besides working for you and homelessness. but you forget there are still people who have free will and can leave whenever they want, and autistic people who dont give a shit about what you think about them for doing that)
Surely like, I mean the Mafia doesn’t care how they get their money right? Like so long as they’re getting the 80% of how much an exy player would make why would they care. So I present to u : Jean Moreau fucking off and becoming a really famous artist instead
[NOTE: this is not to be used as any evidence towards any anti-bakugou/bakugou hate rants, this is neither the intent behind its creation or its posting in a public space. I know these words will mean nothing to some people, and I will block you as is my right. Thank you for understanding.]
i wouldnt say ultra impact provides anything of major substance to any of bnha, and of course you run into any issue of arguing its canonicity.
but i do feel very strongly that it is very good at portraying the characters, like the writers get the essence of a character even if nothing of bombast is being done with them.
yes this is entirely because i am consistently happy with what materials the game provides for 1B, we got a 1B monoma-centric event which understands both that he is a competitive little prick who really would like to stick it to 1A, while also being intensely aware (in a very humble way) that he is NOT better at utilizing the quirks of his classmates after pulling off a fairly complicated strategy
Of course, he immediately undercuts himself by going back to his, "and with this we will be better than 1-A" schtick, but that too is part of his character.
i think when cpurpled witnessed the wars and sever infighting he had a small realization of “oh right. not everyone is expertly trained in combat and the art of killing” as he watched ctommy fumble with a bow and cwilbur grip his sword wrong 90% of the time. but instead of being angsty about it and lamenting on what he lost having been raised as a killer instead of as a child he just went “fucking cringefail losers” and moved on
I hope you don’t mind me asking, but what’s the deal with Mitch and his dad? Last night prompted a lot of Mitch Daddy Issues Marner comments and I was kinda lost. I know he started hockey like. Ridiculously young and there was one video I saw where he mentioned something about like a hockey deal with his dad where he was like yeah I won’t get into that and it had iffy vibes but?
i don't know like. full full details either tbh. but there is this vid from when mitch was little and he and his dad were in a local news story and that's one of the first things i ever saw about mitch. i think his dad's just been a pretty extreme helicoptor parent and made disparaging comments about how ppl dont take mitch seriously bc of his personality and involved himself in mitch's contract negotiations w the leafs to a degree that reflected badly on mitch. i think you can tell how there are definitely problems with their relationship in the way he talks about his dad to the media and how his "father" knows not to mention hockey around him bc he doesn't want to hear it... the evolution of that relationship where mitch now no longer wants him involved. to me......... he just kind of seems like a guy that was like way too heavily invested in his young kid getting into this sport and there's definitely something fractured there bc mitch has a lot of warmth for his mom and his brother when he talks about his family, but sometimes his dad is excluded from that. (AND as a purely speculative section to this, it's interesting that mitch finds himself very attached to dad figures on the team like patrick marleau, matt martin, jumbo, muzz, bogo, etc... like clearly there are some Feelings there and potentially a paternal void that he likes to fill by glomming on to men who aren't afraid to give him affection praise and love that he definitely craves.... there's an essay to be written abt this but i'll save it for someone funnier)
Nuh uh uh don’t you say that you only go on your phone
If you do it’s perfectly fine, all you need to do is manage your time on it which I’m definitely not doing- and how are your friends changing-? Like are you guys just growing distant? You don’t have to answer but I’m worried :(
i cant word it but theres smth abt the way asagiri treats shinpei like we all know that asagiri is playing with them like her dolls rn but the way she only tells satoko her demands even when shinpei is involved and the way theres a speech bubble for her demand and then a separate one for asagiri to go oh yeah and shinpei too like hes an afterthought when shes the only character that calls him w/o an honourifc and idt its a status thing when mitsueda calls him goto and shes the only character that knows him like the back of her hand like hm. that is certainly something!
full respect to portrayals who do otherwise but my dai will always suck at art. more specifically, he will always suck at the technical aspect of it. no matter how hard he practices he simply does not have the hardwiring in his brain or his hands to produce perfect art, the same way someone who's naturally tone deaf can't be readily expected to ever sing a masterpiece score: even though with enough practice they can reach a certain point, it's still a point that most could consider average, ordinary, not all that impressive. this doesn't stop daisuke, though. he's still going to produce his clumsy and talentless art solely because he likes doing it, because he loves it.
and the thing is, the thing about him is, his appraising sense for art itself is actually essentially equal to a hikari's. even someone who's tone-deaf can still become a master of music theory, and that's likewise how, where daisuke is. he can immediately discern messages and pick up on an artist's intentions and emotions within a piece; he KNOWS how these colors and materials and techniques and all sorts of works should go, somewhat intuitively, what they should and do often mean, but he, fundamentally, just can't manage it his own self. his hands never manage to replicate what's in his mind with clarity, there's always some kind of flaw. he forgets, flubs up one thing or another, his work will always seem amateurish even after months, years, decades.
sometimes it bothers him, but most of the time he's accepted the fact and his own limits. of his skill, his creativity, but as long as he can still get to express something sincere and from the heart, he's content. even if it's ugly, it's true, it's his, and he still tried to seriously accomplish creating, making something that he wanted to.
