#i guess merrily is a little removed from normal life my nature of frank being super rich famous and successful #but allegro and merrily both hit me. idk. they're just people living messy lives #realizing they made a mistake....#in my head. gussie leaving frank is the kick in the ass he needs to go back to living for passion instead of success #idk if he could repair his friendship with mary and charley or if the other two would ever believe the change was real and sincere #but i think he'd work to become somebody who deserved his old friends......#much to think about.#merrily we roll along #also some fun details abt my school's allegro that was soooooooooo good:#there wasn't an orchestra just two pianos that were on stage and moved around as part of the set #two actors played them on stage it was soo cool #the actor who played joe was sooooooo good I couldn't believe it #especially bc he'd never had a lead before so I had no idea what he was capable of and then he made me cry every single night #the set was so cool and at the end there was a surprise set change where chunks of it flew off to reveal a train station #for when the three got back to joe's hometown

#I typed this as I sit in middle of court hearing about a robbery #one hand typing court proceedings protocol other typing this #salieri is a timid person who tutors music and isn’t really that sociable #Mozart be trying to drag him out for parties and gatherings #listen the mental image of Salieri’s black hair going gray white #Dantès is a powerful mage and has several personas he starts to lose himself to a curse #little living flame is real him and his pure heart as a last citadel against his certain death #jalter lily being true mvp by looking after Dantès’ pathetic ass that has no self preservation skills #jalter lily is also cursed and Dantes took pity on a child whose existence is a curse #salieri leaves his old life thinking he’s not that good musician to begin with and after he became old his hand shake so badly #he can’t play piano #so what’s the point really #I think I reached revelation and ascended in my knowledge #three of them going through this all by sheer force of revenge #salieri fell first but dantes fell harder #jalter lily just watching this mess and be like ‘seriously right on front of my sundae’

I got irrationally sad about shipping with Davy today and it honestly ruined my day a bit :(

I think it's because his canon relationship is such an integral part of his (back)story, that it almost feels kind of "wrong" or disrespectful to ship him with anyone else than Calypso, especially if it's an OC. What may add up to that is probably also that I haven't really done writing or art on my OC yet (I'm in the process of developing a story for her though). I know it's stupid but it kind of makes me feel like I'm not worthy of his love ...

I know it's all fictional, and in the end I can make up any story I want (just like everyone else can make up their own stories and headcanons and it's all valid), but the emotions I feel are still real and in this particular situation they can also be a bit painful.

(I ended up finding the perfect gif of him for this situation I guess)
