☀️ 🌅  Chapter 6 - Page 1 🌅 ☀️ 

I’m trying out jelly gouache for the first time and decided to illustrate excerpts from my favourite books! 🎨 🖌 

The Little Prince is my 2nd favourite book, and even though its story seemed made for me, I only found out about it when I entered uni. This chapter was the most memorable for me, but I may or may not illustrate the next chapter which I also loved! I’m planning on illustrating my no.1 fav book next though.

I thought about posting all 4 pages in one but I think it’s best for them to have their own spot. Plus, it’ll give me time to catch up to other projects lol. Jelly gouache kicks my watercolour painting ass 😭

We finally take a little break from the birds and move on to some four legged buddies! It’s the page 4 entry of my naturalist journal 🦜 📖 🌺

My first time petting an alpaca finally! They were very nice and calm. And pretty soft. The goats were also freely roaming around with the turtles, getting whatever grass grub they could munch on. This is a special page since it's pretty much COMPLETELY gouache, no watercolour. I had a real hard time trying to illustrate the alpacas though; I don’t have my colour pencils with me so rip 🌱🌿🦙 🐐 

It’s a pretty late entry this week, sorry! Not that I was too busy at work, just flummoxed by my non-colour pencils existence LOL.

Day 25 - Defeat

Fan art of StarCraft when you lose a mission with the Protoss.  This was a bit challenging but really enjoy making that one.  Used for this one Himi Miya gouaches, ink pen and pencils. I hope you like it!
