buddie is canonically romantic. to Me.
eddie was introduced to buck slow-motion style. buck tried to battle his inner bisexual rage for an entire episode but couldn’t stay angry at eddie’s pretty face for longer than twenty minutes — my guy folded the minute eddie extended that first olive branch. buck wistfully watched eddie and the little boy he would come to love as a son through a glass-paneled window not knowing that he’d eventually belong on the other side of that glass door. buck provided the solution to eddie’s very first on-screen struggle and wormed his way into eddie’s heart and home all in the span of one episode. without eddie asking him for any of it. buck called eddie attractive at least three times in season two alone. and then an elf called them gay and buck skipped away after hearing it. eddie gave buck the most precious thing in his life to cheer him up. and buck lost him. but eddie came back to him anyway and then gave him the second most precious thing — something he couldn’t even give his own wife — his trust. they had a lover’s spat in a grocery store. buck was treated like a grieving widow when eddie was buried underground. eddie’s memories of buck and chris were enough to pull him back from death’s cold embrace. eddie nearly bit buck's head off at the train derailment because he couldn’t stand the idea of buck risking his own life for abby. when eddie was shot, he spent the moment he thought would be his very last reaching out for his best friend. buck saved him. of course he did. eddie was planning to stick it out with a woman he knew he could never love and would never love until buck reminded him that he deserved better. buck got pistol-whipped after nearly going off on someone who threatened their eddie's child. eddie left the 118 and buck made out with his replacement. buck was in the room. buck's girlfriend talked to the woman he cheated on her with and buck never once bothered to intervene because he was too busy spending time with eddie. buck helped eddie patch up the holes in his wall. buck spent an entire season looking for the right couch to rest on and then passed out within seconds on eddie's couch. the right couch. buck was struck by lightning and eddie's hands brought him back to life. eddie couldn't look at buck while he was in a coma because it reminded him a little too much of losing his wife. but he brought christopher in anyway. of course he did. they went on a date where eddie stared at buck like he wanted to consume him. a little part of eddie died in that cemetery. eddie asked buck to perform Official Coparenting Duties with his son. buck uttered eddie's name eleven times in the episode where he discovered his bisexuality. buck was left at the curb on his first date with a man and his first priority was still the fact that he lied to his best friend. both of them actively looked like they wanted to die at the idea of nothing changing between them. eddie suggested matching couple's costumes. they sang what i like about you. buck ripped off eddie's shirt. eddie poured beer in his mouth. buck was the one to pull eddie out of the world that he tried to imagine with kim. their final scene of the season was the two of them. alone. together.
...who the hell is that? you can have my back any day. there's nobody in this world i trust with my son more than you. are you hurt? three minutes and seventeen seconds. comes in handy when you have a bunch of holes in your walls. you don’t have to tell me how great eddie is, i’ve known that since the first day i worked with him. what you always do. talk to him. you know how much christopher misses you? how could you. you're not around. i forgive you. you didn't end up like you. you act like you're expendable, but you're wrong. you were missed. thank you. for not giving up. he got the help he needed and that started with you. two cut lines. you don't have to be anything for anybody. can't you both be good cops? no. isn't that what we all want in a partner? knowing that they have your back? he’ll love you like we all do. i love you, i love you, i love you.
buck and eddie’s story is already a romance. regardless of their current relationship status in canon, their story is already a love story. and i wouldn't have it any other way.

Doing this thing because I got blorbos on my mind
A - Current OTPs/OT3s etc.
It may not come as a surprise but I am absolutely rotting on PruMano at all times and have been doing so for basically a year now. It's beginning to melt into my personality and nothing can be done about it. Whenever I'm released from the iron grip of PruMano rotting I enjoy GerIta and FrUk like the normie that I am. The BTT are definitely getting together for threesomes when they're all single and I like them as well.
B - Pairing I initially didn't consider
This might shock you after reading the first bit but. PruMano. See I'm not new to this circus, I first watched Hetalia in 2015 but focused mostly on the Nordic 5 with SuFin and DenNor. This was before PruAus 9/11 (Hima suddenly announcing they're cousins) so I think I was on the PruAus rot.
Other than that I got a friend who I dragged into this hellhole (you know who you are) who has infected me with Frain and TurFra. I have some Thoughts about TurPru but uhh. let's leave that for now.
C - Ships I never liked and never will like
All the ones where there is an unbalanced power dynamic (age gaps, having interacted when one was a child and the other way older etc, former colonies and oppressive states, having a relationship that implies being related etc). I am a seasoned hater of these and I do my best to block anyone who as much as reblogs it. I do not care if it's "just fiction" you guys are weird and not in a good way xoxo
D - Ships I just can't get myself to like
Due to the aforementioned PruMano rot I just don't feel seriously interested in any other pairings I fear. Nothing against PruCan or LietPru for example, I am just so rotted on PruMano that it doesn't make me feel anything lol
E - My crack contributions
I may just be the only person who has even considered TurPru and I have done it in the most unbearable fujoshi way possible </3
Other than that I'm helping out with spreading unrequited GerFra, Frain and TurFra which I do also enjoy on the side.
F - Longest I've been in a fandom
I wanna say this one?? Not actively so, I jumped ship to other things such as Love Live and JJBA in early 2019ish (Love Live even earlier in 2017), but even during my longer breaks from Hetalia I've always ended up rewatching it at some point or posting about it.
G - First OTP
For Hetalia it's definitely been GerIta from day one. Do I even need to say anything? To me they're canon.
H - Favorite way of consuming fandom stuff
It's mostly anime series and TV shows I'd say, I do sometimes read but am a bit too busy to properly sit down and do so.
I - Has Tumblr made me dislike fandoms
I think it would take less time to list the fandoms Tumblr HASN'T made me dislike tbh. I try to keep a tight knit circle for my own sanity and rarely interact with the fandom part of stuff apart from my own and my friend's contributions. Highly recommended btw.
J - Fandoms I didn't notice until Tumblr
To be honest I'm not really browsing Tumblr at all. I like to upload here because the image quality is way better than on Instagram. I suppose I highly associate some fandoms with this site (Undertale for example)?
K - Say something nice about someone
You should all go like and subscribe to fruktual on Instagram for more FrUk and Frainposting
L - Say something nice about a mid character
Lithuania I'm sure you are way more interesting than I give you credit for and I care about you the most out of the Baltic Trio (which I honestly forget exists at times)
M - Something nice about a ship I don't like
I'd honestly rather pull a tooth out than say a single word of praise for things such as UsUk or Spamano 🤢🤢🤢🤢 And that's on periodt!
N - Things I wish to see more of in the fandom
More PruMano please please please please please pl
O - Song that reminds me of a ship
Til There Was You by The Beatles makes me think of GerIta, as well as Kingdom Come by Red Velvet
As for PruMano it would be Tales Of Great Ulysses by Cream because I had that on repeat writing my Ancient Rome PruMano AU lol
P - New AU
I'm working on/will be working on a Frankenstein PruMano AU where Gilbert is a much more empathic Victor Frankenstein and Lovino is too traumatized from dying and being resurrected to be out killing people. Look forward to that...
Q - Ship I've abandoned and why
PruAus because Hima came in with a warhammer and bludgeoned it to the cousinzone R.I.P </3
R - Pairing I think no one else ships
Again with TurPru, I seriously wonder whether it's been considered at all. Most likely not.
S - Personal headcanon
Okay more or less true I guess if you bother to read the source material but Gilbert is just a silly loser guy. Like, he's a total himbo. I love him and need to gnaw on him.
T - Headcanons I'll die defending
That Gilbert and Lovino who share a passion for chivalry and knights would definitely go visit museums and LARPing events such as medieval weeks and whatnot. Just warms my cold little heart <3
U - 5 faves from 5 different fandoms
Oh boy. Forgive me for what I'm about to share.
(Hetalia) Gilbert Beilschmidt
(JJBA) Dio Brando
(Madoka) Kyouko Sakura
(Love Live) Yoshiko Tsushima
(Gakkou Gurashi or School Live) Kurumi Ebisuzawa
V - 3 OTPs from different fandoms
(Hetalia) PruMano (shocker, I know)
(Madoka) HomuMado
(Love Live) YohaRiko
W - 5 ships ft 5 kinks for said ship
So obviously gonna skip over the ones featuring minors.
PruMano - Verbal degradation, sadism, masochism, somewhat fear aspect, leaving marks
I do also just think they love each other and have normal sex and that's fine too, but I did write a fanfic where the abovementioned happens
X - My top 5 babygirls
1. Gilbert, I bully him a lot but don't you ever seriously say something mean about him because I will be so sad </3
2. Lovino, he's a flawed man and some of you are MEAN to him for having it rough
3. Rome, some people who haven't read source material claim there's some favoritism going on, he does visit Lovino as well okay? The allegations are canonically false!
4. Ludwig, I think most of us agree he's a good person but for the rare few who claim he's "verbally abusive". Go outside and touch grass no he isn't. GerIta has always been them antagonizing one another, the battlefield is even or perhaps even in Feliciano's favor. Ludwig will never be able to escape the nightmare and I don't think Feli wants him to. They're bound together forever and love it.
5. Roderich, gets slack for various Chibitalia related things, does not deserve it at all, it's all whining and he and Feli are on good terms in modern times. Relax.
Y - Fandoms in-law
My current close friends are into Baldurs Gate 3, Watch Dogs, Dishonored, Evillous Chronicles (Vocaloid), Utena and more. But these are the primary blorbo shows in-law.
Z - Rambling time
Okay if you've gotten this far down I admire your attention span lol thanks. I don't really have all that much to say that is concrete and comprehensible but I am thinking of PruMano and of warm days by the Mediterranean Sea and skies later lit in vivid shades of red and orange as the hot sun sets and the cities come to life. I am also thinking about them cuddling, which I do quite a lot.
Anyway that was all for me bye

I'm Trying
Here is my weekly post! I hope you guys enjoy, this is a personal fave of mine. Please let me know what you think of it! I love to get feedback!
Marauders Era
Sirius Black x Fem! Reader, Remus x Twin sister! Reader. Marauders x Reader
Warnings: Swearing, mini make out sesh, sort of self harm, fear
You stole a piece of chocolate from your stash. You always had a secret stash in case you brother, Remus, ever ran out before the full moon. But you also had a bit of a sweet tooth yourself. Well, you could call it more than that actually. See, while your brother was a full werewolf, you were about half, but he didn’t know that. If he knew that he would actually lose it. The only person who knew was Lily, and she had found out by accident.
So, while your brother would always turn into a werewolf on full moons, you only sometimes did. You also got mood swings to the max. But no one ever questioned it because they assumed it was just girl stuff. And the four boys you hung out with, no matter how close you were, didn’t really want to strike up a conversation about that. Ever.
You see, your turning started your second year at Hogwarts. You woke in the forbidden Forest feeling like you had been hit with a ten ton bus. You put two and two together and started to ask Lily’s friend, Severus, if he could brew you a potion in secret. So I guess you could say two people knew. But it wasn’t like Severus would tell on you. You were always nicer to him than your friends were and he seemed to appreciate that. So, he always made you a potion while slughorn made Remus his.
James often asked why you never joined them. While your brother couldn;t become an animagus, you could for some odd reason. You turned into a small black and white ferret, while your brother couldn;t change at all. You felt bad, it was your fault he was like this, and despite his countless times he had told you it wasn’t your fault you both knew it was. But everytime James would ask Remus would answer for you.
“I don;t want her out there. I’m her brother. It's my job to protect her. I wouldn;t be able to live with myself if I accidentally did something to her.” You always clenched your jaw at his response. He still saw you as a little kid, despite being his twin. You couldn’t stand it!
You never thought anyone noticed these secret feelings you held against your brother. Oh how you were wrong. Sirius Black always noticed when Remus would say something to upset you. And he was always the one there for you. See, despite his liking for it, he had caught feelings for you. He thought he could trample them by asking out every girl in the school, but that only seemed to make his want for you grow. But he never said anything. You were his best friend’s twin sister. It was just wrong, no matter how strongly he felt for you.
The full moon was coming up again soon, and you ran down the hall to see your brother and friends waiting for you. Remus looking in his bag frantically.
“Hey, guys!” You smiled with fake cheer. You felt awful today, but you couldn;t let anyone see that. They might grow suspicious of your secret. “What's wrong, Rem?”
“He didn’t restock his backpack again with chocolate.” Peter squeaked. Remus threw him a dirty glance before rooting through his bag again. You internally groaned. You always had a stash in your bag, and you really needed it today. But, you were his sister. Sacrifices must be made. You slung your bag around and grabbed your whole stash and filled his bag with it. You even let him finish the one you had been munching on, much to your disappointment.
“Thank you, Y/N/N,” he said, stuffing the chocolate bar in his mouth. You just smiled at him and put your head down and clutched your messenger bag harder. White knuckling the strap. God, you wanted to rip the chocolate out of his mouth and just eat it. But no. You were a fucking good sister. And a fucking good sister you would stay.
Classes were a pain all day, especially with the smell of chocolate enveloping you every time Remus would open a new package. You had broken four quills by lunch and they were all joking about it.
You all headed out of your final class and down to the great hall, like you normally did. BUt Remus seemed to be in an even worse mode. You were glad he had the chocolate, he might’ve actually murdered someone. You, on the other hand, were so close to murder, but you had to keep that damn smile on and your shirt pulled up high onto your shoulder tightly, despite the heat. That's where Greyback had gotten you. Just a nip on the shoulder before remus thought it was a good idea to attempt to hit him with a chair. Key word, attempt.
Remus was on the end of the line bsides you. Some slytherin accidently knocked into him and he let out a growl as he kept walking and talking to the Huffelpuff. Here we go.
“You got a problem?” He whipped around, staring at the boy clad in green robes. The boy looked at him confused. You recognize him. Your year, Jacob Jemesky. One of the cutest boys in your year. I mean, his eyes alone were perfect enough.
“I’m sorry?” He asked. You put a hand on Remus’s shoulder.
“Rem,” but he shook you off and walked up to the boy.
“I said, you got a problem, Snake?”Your eyes widened and you became red faced. You walked over to him and pulled him away from the Slytherin, shoving him to SIrius and James who held him back and tried to get hima away from the situation.
“I am so sorry about that, Jacob, right?” You nodded a smile on his lips.
“Yeah. And no worries. Your, Y/N, right?” You blushed slightly.
“Yeah. Its nice to finally meet you. We’ve shared a few classes I think.” He nodded before his eyes flashing back to your brother.
“Is he alright? I really didn’t mean to-”
“He’s fine. Trust me. He just gets moody from here and there. I think its like a twin thing between me and him, knowing when one is going to have a bad day and all.” He nodded.
“Well, I have to get going, but I’ll see you around, Y/N.” He waved and started to leave.
“See you around!” You waved back. Your smile dropped as soon as he turned the corner. You took a few deep breaths and walked over to your brother who was still trying to get out of James and Siris’ grips. “You two can let go now.” The boys did as you said but were ready to grab him at any second.
“What the hell was that for, Y/N?” He shouted at you, making your back straighten, ready to take it all. He just had to yell at someone sometimes, and the majority of the time it was you.
“He didn’t do it on purpose, Rem. You know that. You just need to calm down for a second, ok?”
“Calm down? I am calm!” James went to say something but you just shook your head at him. You weren’t going to let them take any of this heat.
“Rem, you're really not. Please just-”
“Don;t tell me what to do, Y/N! I am sick of you trying to constantly manage every little thing that I do. You can’t even begin to understand what I go through! You have no right to tell me to calm down. Or to tell me what I am and what I’m not. You know why? Because I am a fucking werewolf becuase of you,” every bit of air was sucked out of the empty corridor. Luckily empty. But he didn’t stop there. “I took that bite for you! We both know it was your fault! You were too naive to even think for a second that it wasn;t smart to go outside that early in the morning when the moon was still out! It was all yoru fucking fault! So don;t tell me what to do, or how to feel or any of that, because this is all happening because of you!”
You stood frozen as his breath calmed. You had tears slipping down your cheeks which was a strange sight for everyone in your friend group. Yo never cried. But hearing Remus admit that it was your fault, you couldn’t handle it anymore. The dam just broke. You swallowed, trying to get the lump in your throat away.
“Are you better, Remus?” He just stared at you, his eyes turning from rage to fear as he heard what he had said and how you referred to him as Remus and not Rem or bro or some stupid nickname you had given him. You smiled sadly and wiped a tear away. “I’m glad. I’m glad that finally admitting the truth makes you feel better.” You turned and started to walk down the hall only to stop and look over your shoulder. “You know. I just have to say this because I have for a while now. I have always tried my best to be there for you. Always tried to be patient. Always tried to take care of you when you wouldn’t let me do more. And also, I’m not the bloody moron who hit Fenrir Greyback with a chair and didn’t have the arm strength for it and ended up falling out a window!” You spit at him before walking down the hallway, tears streaming down your face at this point.
Remus opened his mouth to call after you, but he saw Sirius bolting after you instead. He had fucked up majorly. He knew it. James took him by the shoulder and directed him towards the Great Hall. James being the only one who knew of Sirius’ crush on you and knowing that Sirius would be able to calm you down better than any of them. And if he couldn’t, then Remus had just gotten himself into a deep deep deep hole.
You sat in the small alcove you had found your first year. It was in a secluded part of the courtyard, only your lily and Sirius knew about it. Which sucked because they knew exactly where to look for you.
Your head was in your knees and silent tears continued to pour down your face and on your knees. You didn’t know what to do. Didn’t know how to feel. You just didn’t know.
“Y/N?” You looked up to see Sirius standing by the entrance of the alcove. He had pushed aside the vines that hid you from view and was watching you, waiting to see what you would do. You sat up quickly and brushed the tears aside, smiling at him.
“Hey, Sirius,” your voice cracked and you cringed. He gave you a small pitiful smile and made you move over so he was sitting next to you. “Is he ok?”
“He will be,” you sighed and rubbed your hands over your face.
“I shouldn’t have stormed off. Or said any of that,” Sirius frowned.
“You know Moony is my best friend, but he started that argument.”
“Yeah but with the full moon coming up… he’s just on edge, and I know that. And he was right, I just didn’t expect him to say it like that. I over reacted.”
“You were just helping out a Slytherin, who you obviously like,” he hit your shoulder and you laughed, you felt your shirt fall down a bit off your shoulder but didn;t go to move it.
“I just find him attractive. That was the first time I've talked to him.” Sirius smiled through his pain and laughed with you. His eyes fell to your shoulder for a moment and he froze.
“Y/N/N, what happened?” He questioned looking at the small mark that the werewolf had left all those years ago. Your eyes widened and you quickly pulled your sleeve back up and cleared your throat standing.
“No-nothing. Um… I-I have to-to… uh.. To go. I’ll-I’ll see you, Sirius. Thank you,” you scurried out of alcove and dashed through the halls. You knew you couldn’t avoid him for long. I mean, the four of them had the marauders map, they would find you anywhere you went. You walked into the Great Hall, thankful to see Lily sitting by James. “Lily!” She looked over at you and her smile fell when she saw the state you were in. She excused herself and came running up to you, leading you out the Hall and to your room.
“Are you ok? James told me the blow out-”
“Sirius saw the scar,” you interrupted her. She froze.
“Does he know?” You shook your head.
“No. But I know he’s going to question me as soon as I’m alone. I just didn't want that to happen.”
“Not yet, you mean.”
“Ever.” She sighed, but didn’t push the subject. She was adamant that you should tell the boys about your… condition. You were adamant that you keep it to yourself, forever.. The fights between you and your twin would get worse, and you couldn’t let that happen.
Sirius walked into the Great Hall, scanning the Gryffindor table for you, he came up empty. He sat down, but kept searching the hall and glancing at the doors every now and then.
“What wrong, Mate?” James asked, taking a bite of his sandwich. Even Remus was eating, slowly, but eating.
“Nothing,” he mumbled and took a banana from the table. If you acted like that around him when he saw that scar, he could only imagine you didn’t want anyone else knowing about it. “Do you have the map?” James nodded and handed over the map from his pocket.
Quickly, Sirius unfolded it and searched for your name. You were in the girls dormitory with Lily. His leg started to bounce while he considered going after you. He could always ask Lily if he could have a second with you. He just wanted to make sure you were alright. You seemed really upset when you stormed out.
Had you always worn long sleeves of some sort?
He handed the map back to James before standing up and heading towards the Gryffindor dorms. Maybe he could lure you out with some chocolate. He knew you were addicted to the stuff, practically eating it for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but you always gave your stash to your brother. Some days he wished you wouldn’t. Just because he noticed how you would stiffen at the smell of it, or when you heard a wrapper from your stash being un-did. He knew Remus needed it, but it seemed like you sometimes needed it just as much as he did.
He bumped into LIly in the common room, he opened his mouth but she held up a hand to silence him.
“Listen, I know you want to check on her. But she isn’t in the best state right now. Especially if you are going to be questioning her about what you saw.”
“I just want to make sure she’s alright. I won’t question her about it.” Lily bit her lip and thought about it for a moment before shaking her head. You had given the last of your chocolate stash to Remus the other day and were in desperate need. But she didn’t want to leave you alone with Sirius in the dorm. He knew how to get into the girl’s dormitory, no shock there, but seldom did it. And normally only did it to bug the hell out of you.
“I’m sorry. It really isn’t the best decision. I have to run out and get her more chocolate from the kitchens, the house elves keep a stash for her down there. Please, don’t go in.”
“I can grab some from Remus’ stash,” he offered. But she shook her head.
“Where do you think the rest of her stash went?” Lily smiled and left. Sirius sat down on one of the couches, his leg bouncing aggressively again. He knew he shouldn’t go into your dorm room. He really shouldn’t. But, the thing is, that only made him want to more.
“Lily?” He heard your voice and looked up and saw you on the staircase, looking worse for wear. Your eyes met his and you froze, visibly freezing.
“Hey,” he scrambled to his feet, but didn’t move towards you.
“H-Hey,” you stuttered, your eyes still locked on him.
“I-uh,” he cleared his throat awkwardly. Why wasn;t he good at being sincere like this? “I came to check on you. See if you were alright.” You eyed him cautiously.
“Uh. Yeah. I-I’m fine.I-uh-well, I can’t exactly explain-” He shook his head.
“You don’t have to.”
“Yeah, but I should. It was rude. And I still haven’t apologized to Rem,” you sighed and sat down on the stair, putting your head in your hands again. He slowly walked over and sat next to you, not talking. He just put his arm around your shoulders. You turned your head into him and he rested his chin on your head.
“You ok?” You let out a breathy laugh. And shook your head.
“Not really.”You heard the clock chime and knew Lily had gone to class and purposefully left you with Sirius, knowing of your… fondness... of him. Damn, you really needed chocolate. “Don’t you have to get to class?” He chuckled.
“When have I ever been on time?” You laughed, knowing how true his statement was. Only when he walked with you was he ever early or on time. Unless it was for transfigurations. He would stand outside the door until class was five minutes in before walking in dramatically, interrupting the entire class, and taking a seat next to you. Mcgonagall would huff in annoyance, but you knew she didn’t hate it. You also knew she knew what he didn everyday and never made any course of action to change it.
“Good point. But we are supposed to have transfiguration now. Don't you think Mcgonagall will miss you?”
“I bet she wouldn’t know what to do without me.”
Meanwhile in transfiguration:
“Ok, Black will be walking through the doors in three, two, one,” Mcgonagall kept talking but looked at the doors and waited for them to bang open with Sirius. Nothing happened. She began to sweat. “Where is he? What is he getting himself into? Did he die? Did someone else accidentally die and he is hiding the body?”
Back to the common room:
“Besides, I think you need a friend right now.” You smiled and nodded. “And chocolate.”
“Did I just get compared to chocolate?” He joked.
“You should be honored. I think very highly of chocolate. In my opinion it's better than christmas.” He laughed.
“Really?”
“Yeah. Christmas comes once a year, chocolate is a year long thing.” he laughed again, and you smiled, proud that you could make him laugh like that. Then your smile faded as you thought if his girlfriend made him laugh like that.
It's not like you would ever date him. You might have a crush on him, but you not only had to keep your secret a secret, but he was also your twin brother’s friend. You couldn’t do that.
“We better get to class.” you lifted your self off him, both of you immediately missing the other person’s body heat. “Mcgongall probably thinks you killed someone.” he gave you a small smile as you ran up to your room to grab your bag. He grabbed his from the couch where he had set it. He slung it over his shoulder and you came running down the stairs, skipping the last four. “Ready?” You asked, your normal smile on your face. He smirked.
“Talking to me for a few minutes put that smile on your face?” He teased as you made your way out of the portal.
“No, I found a few bars of chocolate under my bed.” You said happily, pulling two bars out of your pocket. He rolled his eyes as you opened one and handed it to him. He stared at it for a moment before taking it.
“You don’t want it?”
“I might’ve found four and ate two while coming down the stairs.” He laughed and took a bite of his. You unwrapped yours and started eating away at it. You two made your way into Mcgonagall’s class, Sirius banging the door open.
“Minnie! Did you miss me?” He shouted. You shook your head and laughed as Mcgonagall just stared daggers at him. The class erupted into laughter, but stifled it at one glare from the professor.
“Mr. Black. How kind of you to join us. Same goes for you as well, Miss. Lupin,” her gaze was less harsh on you, but you still blushed and put your head down. You two slid into your seats and began to take notes. Luckily it had been a review day. And Sirius was a master at transfigurations, so he would help you after class since it, ironically, wasn’t your best subject(And by that I mean you were still a crazy master, just not your best class).
You two spent the lesson showing the other students up as you easily changed everything and answered questions correctly. Lily was even struggling a bit at the rate you and Sirius were commenting. Of course, yours were more sincere than Sirius’ sarcastic answers (that were always correct in some sense) but you two still ruled the lesson.
You all left the lesson, you headed down to the dungeons for potions with Remus and James while Peter, Sirius and Lily went to divinations. It was a tense silence, you walking ahead of the boys with your head down and your books pressed against your chest. James joined you in front which you were grateful for, but you knew he was trying to get you to talk to Remus. You just needed a little while, and you told him as much. He just nodded and continued walking with you to potions. You sat towards the back of the class and left Remus and James to sit in your usual spots. Someone sat besides you and you were about to ask them to move when you noticed it was Jacob.
“Hey!” You smiled kindly at the slytherin sitting beside you.
“Hi. I forgot we shared this class. You don’t mind if I?” You shook your head.
“No, of course not.” He smiled.
“You're normally sitting next to Lupin and Potter, right?”
“Yeah. Remus is my twin and we kind of just got the same group of friends. Surprising, right?" You chuckled and he chuckled with you. Slughorn began to teach and the two of you went to work on the assignment together. It wasn't a hard potion today. At least for you it wasn’t. Potions was your best class, although Slughorn was a terrible teacher. Well, it actually wasn't your best subject. That was defense against the dark arts. Potions was a close second.
"Alright class, for your next assignment you will be working with the person at your table for. You will be brewing and writing on a potion I will randomly select for each of you," you looked over at Jacob with a smile.
"Looks like we're partners," you beamed. He smiled back excitedly.
"Looks like it, Lupin. I'll start cleaning up, why don't you go up and get our assignment?" He suggested. You nodded and headed to the front, meeting James on the way.
"You and Jacob?"
"Yeah. He's pretty good at it, so whatever potion we get should be a piece of cake." You smiled up at him. He only offered you a small one in return, making you falter in confusion.
What was that about?
He went back to his table with your brother and you walked up to Slughorn.
"Ah, miss. Lupin! I was surprised to see you not with your brother."
"We had a bit of a disagreement earlier. I'm Jacobs' partner. What potion would you like us to complete?" He looked at you for a moment before his face lit up with an idea.
"How about amortentia? Yes, that would suit you two nicely,” he declared. You rolled your eyes. That was the cheesiest potion he could have given you.
“Sounds great, professor! I’ll tell Jacob and we’ll get to work on it right away,” you turned and sulked back to your table. He noticed the look on your face.
“What did he give us?”
“Amortentia.” Jacob rolled his eyes.
“Honestly? How many times has he given that out to students, can’t he be the least bit more creative?” You chuckled and grabbed your bag from the back of your chair and clung it over your shoulder before gathering your notebook.
“I completely agree. So, how about we meet in the library tomorrow to start on the paper and divy up the work?”
“Sounds good to me!” He smiled as you two walked out of the classroom, chatting a bit more as you left. You were so caught up in your conversation with Jacob you missed a black haired boy waiting for the three of you. He was leaning up against the wall, as he normally did, with his hands in his pockets and his bag by his one foot. The sight of you walking out with Jacob made him freeze and just stop breathing all together.
James and Remus followed the two of you out a few seconds later, not paying any attention to what was going on with you as you laughed at something he had said. You were just standing in the middle of the hallway. What was that about?
“Sirius!” He snapped out of his trance when James’ voice cut through the air.
“Mmh?” He looked at Remus and James, who both had a worried look on their faces.
“You ok? You zoned out for about four minutes straight.”
“Yeah, I’m fine. What’s your sister doing hanging out with that Slytherin you told to piss off earlier?” Remus whipped around and stared at you as you laughed again, his eyes narrowing dangerously at the Slytherin boy. He was the reason you two were fighting in the first place. That was a lie and Remus knew it, but that didn’t mean he had to admit it.
”She’s partnered with him for the project,” James clarified, causing both Sirius and Remus to look at him.
“He sat beside her,” Remus practically growled, tossing another glance as you waved goodbye to him and he did the same.
“What did you expect when she didn’t want to sit by us? He obviously took a liking to her earlier in the hall.”
“Why didn’t she sit by you?” Sirius asked. “You two didn’t make up yet?” Remus grumbled something that no one could hear, but they didn’t really care. You started walking over, ignoring your brother’s presence all together.
“Hey, Sirius. Hey James. Ready to head to dinner?” It was quiet for a few seconds, Remus just staring at you.
“Yeah,” James finally broke the silence. “Lets-uh-let's get to dinner. Quickly.” He took you by your shoulder and started to rush you to the dining hall.
Nothing improved over the week. The full moon was coming closer, making both you and Remus even more on edge. The two of you had attempted to make up, but that just resulted in another, bigger, blow out. James and Peter had to hold Remus back as Sirius and Lily had to hold you back. Both of you were about to pumble each other. You finally threw a very nasty statement at him before storming up to your common room. In your defense he deserved it.
You started to distance yourself from all the Marauders, even Lily in some ways as you focused on your studies. You met Jacob in the library every day to work on your potion’s assignment, which seemed to get Sirius and Remus both in a twist, though one was better at hiding it than the other. That was when the third blow up happened. The day of the full moon.
“I can’t believe you are hanging around that Slytherin.” Remus spit out to you as you were all sitting in the common room before lunch. It was Saturday and none of you felt much like going outside since you would be out all night.
“Excuse me?” You asked with raised eyebrows, putting the book you were studying out of down.
“You heard me.”
“I did, and since when have you cared? Not like you've been in my life much,” you spat. He clenched his jaw and stared at you, all of your friends ready to jump in case you got into another fight.
“Since it's a blasted Sytherin.”
“That's not even a fair judgment. Have you ever even talked to him?”
“Why would I? A pretty boy pure blood who comes from a rich family?” he scoffed. “Sounds like a fun time.” You bristled.
“You just described Sirius!” You yelled. You turned to Sirius. “No offense, of course,” he held up his hands.
“You called me pretty, I’m happy.” You rolled your eyes at him, not helping the butterflies in your stomach when he said that.
“Yeah, but he isn’t a Slytherin!”
“You're condemning all Slytherins to being evil now?”
“Aren’t they?” you were both on your feet now, causing everyone else to join you.
“No you ignoramus! And if you could see two inches past your fucking nose, then you would know that!”
“Name one person other than your precious boyfriend!”
“Slughorn!”
“Bet you can;t do it again.” He challenged. You sneered.
“Snape!” He laughed.
“Really? Him? You decide that he is not evil? Have you seen him?”
“Have you looked in the mirror much? You aren’t the model yourself!” He sneered.
“How about you?”
“What about me?:”
“You look as bad as I do, dare I say worse! And your chocolate consumption has become twenty times it normally is! Now you are hanging around a Slytherin and constantly fighting with me!”
“Me-” you laughed harshly and dramatically. Making it sound almost hysterical and mad. “Your the one who picks the fucking fight everytime!”
“Becuase you make stupid descions!”
“Like hitting a beast in the back with a chair from the top of a two story house?”
“Y/N,” Lily warned from beside you.
“To only save your arse from becoming what I am!”
“Yeah, well, bang up job, Remus Lupin! A for effort I suppose!”
“And what is that supposed to mean?”
Silencio!” Lily yelled, pointing her wand at you. You yelled a string of curses at her and your brother before storming out of the common area. She shot Remus a glare, something that didn’t happen often.
“You know, she’s going to Hogsmead with him next weekend. I suggest you get your act together before then and actually support something your sister is doing before you remove her from your life completely,” she hissed and chased after you. All the boys were frozen from, not only Lily’s scolding, but the fact that you were going to Hogsmead with him. Sirius felt ill and just stood in place, frozen.
“Great,” James mumbled. “They’re both broken now. At least we are ok, Peter,” He looked over to where Peter had been standing. Now the boy was passed out on the ground. James sighed and shook his head. “Never mind.”
Lily found you in your normal spot, silently crying to yourself. She removed the spell and your sobs were so loud she almost silenced you again. She sat down besides you, but you made no move to put your head on her shoulder like you normally did.
She knew you didn’t want to talk to her right now. She knew it was Sirius that you wanted to speak to, but you had just announced that you were going to Hogsmead with Jacob. Sirius was trying to get over that fact.
“We should probably go meet Sev,” she murmured in your ear. “The potion will make you feel better.” You just shook your head and tried to catch your breath.
“I-I’m fine. I just… I just need a minute.”
“You are going to hate me for saying this, but you need to make up with your brother and tell Sirius how you feel. You made it seem like you and Jacob were going on a date when you know that's not what's happening.” She scolded. You nodded your head, not being able to catch your breath from how hot you were, especially with all the clothes you had on.
“Can-can you help me get the jacket off? Please?” She nodded and started to pull at the sleeve, revealing an arm full of scars. You pulled the other sleeve off, prevailing a second arm full of scars. Your breathing slowed and you were finally able to catch your breath.
You quickly wiped the tears from your eyes.
“I didn’t let anything slip. They-they don;t know anything, right?”
“I almost let you. But that wasn’t the right way to do it.” You nodded gratefully, tracing some of the scars on your arm. You were more on edge today, but, for once, you don;t think chocolate would help. But that was only because of Remus’ comment earlier.
“We should probably get your potion from Sev. I have a feeling tonight's going to be one of your… worse… ones.” You nodded, feeling it too. This wasn;t just going to be an irritating night, this was going to be a full on transformation.
“I’ll have to tie myself down in the Room of Requirement tonight,” you nodded, agreeing.
“I don’t see why you tie yourself down. You take the potion.”
“What if it doesn’t work one night? You are going to have a second werewolf around and on the grounds. It's better if I just tie myself up and be prepared.” She sighed, knowing you wouldn’t see reason in this.
“Will you at least let me be in there with you?”
“Merlin, Lily! No! Are you mad?”
“Remus at least has-”
“And Remus is a normal werewolf. I am not. Something could go wrong at any moment and I am not letting anyone get remotely close to me. You know that!”
“I’m just saying-”
“No!” her eyes widened as you snapped at her. “It's not happening, so stop asking,” you stood up and walked out of the alcove in a huff, leaving her slightly stunned, your jacket sitting where you had once occupied. She thought about going after you and giving it back, but maybe this was what you needed. Someone else to know your secret.
You realized too late that you had forgotten your jacket and turned around to get it when you heard Sirius.
“Y/N! Wait a minute!” You froze before bolting in the direction towards the alcove you knew your jacket would be in. “Y/N!” He called after you again, his voice getting closer. You pushed yourself to run faster, only making you trip over your feet in the process and tumble to the ground with a cry. You were so close to your jacket. But Sirius caught up and froze when he saw your arms. His mouth opened and closed quickly.
You grabbed him and shoved him into an empty classroom, locking the door behind you and turning back to him. He was still staring at your arms and you sighed in frustration, letting a long string of profanities fall from your lips and you paced the room, pulling the skin from your lips, trying to figure out what to do.
You could obliviate him. Of course, that wasn’t the best course of action. You really didn’t want to obliviate your best friend. While you were thinking he came back to his senses.
“Y/N?”
“Mh?” You hummed, still thinking about what to do. He grabbed you and turned you towards him.
“Y/N.”
“Yeah?” His eyes scanned your arms.
“What happened?” You bit your lip and continued to pull it apart with your teeth. WHat could you tell him? “Y/N?”
“You're gonna kill me,” you mumbled and closed your eyes moving away from him and running your hand over your face.
“I-I won’t. Just-”
“I can’t, Sirius. I can’t tell you.” You looked back towards him with nothing but sorrow in your eyes. “I’m sorry. I just can’t tell you.” Then the pieces fit together. Your mood swings during the full moons, you always carrying chocolate and your ears always perking when you heard the wrapper. The way you “just knew” when someone was close by or something was headed your way.
“Please don’t tell me-”
“Please don’t worry about it,” you begged.
“I am staring at your scared arms. How am I not supposed to worry about it?” He raised his voice. It wasn’t a yell, but it still made you flinch. He noticed and lowered his voice again. “Y/N, I need you to tell me the truth here,” you looked down and he walked closer to you. Careful steps. Very careful steps. “That night Remus got turned into a werewolf, did he-” you nodded. Tears welling in your eyes. “But you can transform into an animagus.” You swallowed the lump in your throat.
“I’m not a full one. I get testy around the full moon, but don’t always turn. And I carry the chocolate for Remus, mostly.” He shook his head.
“Why didn’t you ever say anything?”
“Because Remus has it ten times worse than me. Please don’t tell him,” you begged.
“Don’t tell him? How am I supposed to not tell him?”
“By keeping your mouth shut?” You attempted the joke, but he just shook his head at you. “Please. I am begging you, Sirius. I really need to meet Sev and I need my jacket an-”
“Snape?” You looked away and bit your lip. “Why do you…”
“He’s the best one at potions in our year. He was the only one who can, well, you know.”
“That's why you protected him when Remus said that stuff about Slytherins.”
“He’s helped me out since second year. And with all the turmoil happening between me and everyone, tonights going to be bad. I really need to get the potion off him. Like now. Please, I will tell you everything later, just please let me go and please don’t tell Remus.” His leg bounced as he stared at you from the table he sat down at. He shrugged off his own jacket and threw it over your shoulders.
“Get your potion. I expect everything to be explained tomorrow and I will not tell your brother, yet.” You smiled and hugged him, throwing your arms around his neck.
“Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you.” You mumbled into his neck as he hugged you back.
“Yeah yeah. Just be careful, ok?” he set you firmly on the ground again. “Promise me.” You nodded and slid your hands through the arm holes of his jacket. It was far too big for you, but you didn’t really care. First off because it was hiding your scars. Second off, you had Sirius Black’s jacket on, and that may or may not have made your heart beat out of your chest. And then if you add the way he was looking at you on top of that, you were dead.
“I promise. Thank you, Sirius. You are a life saviour.” You left the room and he stood staring at that door, cursing himself and needed to find Lily, pronto.
“Evans!” He yelled into the great hall where the red head was sitting. She looked over at him with an eye roll, but then noticed his serious expression. Which was, ironically, something he rarely had on his face. She stood up and scurried over to him and he pulled her out of the great hall. “You knew, didn;t you? About Y/N.” She shrugged, guilty.
“She made me swear to secrecy. Do you know where she went? She got mad at me and stomped off without her jacket. I’m assuming you-”
“Saw her hundreds of scars? Yes.”
“She showed you all of them” She creased her eyebrows and his eyes narrowed.
“All? Where is all?” Lily swallowed.
“Everywhere?” His eyes flickered down the hall, almost as if he were looking for you.
“Why does she have more than Remus?”
“Her body heals differently and she didn’t have the ointment he gets from the hospital wing, despite my persistent begging for her to get it.”
“Does her boyfriend know about this?”
“Her what?”
“Jacob. The Slytherin.”
“Sirius, they aren’t dating.”
“But he’s taking her to Hogsmead.”
“To help him pick out a gift for his little sister’s birthday. I said that in the heat of the moment. She was pissed at Remus. Please, don’t make her feel worse about keeping this a secret. And no, she just met him a week ago. She’s known Remus since she was born and you since everywhere in between.” Sirius looked down the hall again before back at Lily.
“Is there anything I can do?”
“Do not tell Remus until after the full moon tonight. They are both on edge and it's not going to be a pretty fight.” Sirius nodded, recalling how badly he had wanted to yell at her for not telling them about this.
“Anything else?”
“Go easy on her. It had to of taken a lot of guts not to obliviate you on the spot.” Sirius nodded, knowing she had contemplated it for a split second.
“Yeah, ok. I can do that.”
“Thank you, Sirius. You're a good friend.” He scoffed.
“Tell that to Mooney when he’s beating the daylights out of me.” Lily put a hand on his shoulder before disappearing back into the Great Hall. “He’s gonna kill me for this,” Sirius mumbled before following her into the hall.
You had just finished tying the ropes onto your arms. They were charmed so no matter what tugged at them they would hold you in place until the full moon was over. You had tied them extra tight tonight for precaution. Lily walked in with her arms full of chocolate and some other food for before and after the full moon.
“Do you have to tie them so tight?”
“Yes,” You grunted as you pulled one more time to triple check if they were tight enough.
“Sirius pulled me aside today,” she hummed slightly and took a seat in front of you on the floor. You glanced at his jacket.
“Speaking of,” you said before she could say anything. “Can you return his jacket? I don’t want it to get ruined or anything and I didn’t see him before I came here.”
“You didn;t see him because you didn’t want to. You can’t avoid him or telling our friends about this.”
“Yeah, but I can put it off for as long as possible.” She shook her head at you.
“You are unbelievable.”
“Yep. Can you pass some chocolate over please.” She started to grab it but you changed your mind. “Actually, just hand me the grapes.” She paused and looked up at you.
“Is this about what Remus said?” You looked away from her. “Y/N/N. Is this about what Remus said?”
“Yeah, I guess.”
“He didn’t mean-”
“Yeah he did. My brother may be a lot of things, but a liar isn’t one of them. Especially during a full moon.”
“Well, I’m sure he didn’t mean it the way it came out.”
“I’m pretty sure he did.” She just shook her head and handed you the chocolate which you reluctantly (not really) took and began to devour.
“You should get out of here, Lily. It’ll be starting in a little.”
“You took the potion?” You nodded and gestured to an empty vile a few feet away from you. She picked it up and gathered Sirius’s coat. “Are you sure you’ll be ok?”
“Yeah, I’ll be fine. Thanks again, Lily. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Alright, I’ll see you tomorrow, Y/N.” And then she left, leaving you to munch on chocolate in the deafening silence. Counting the seconds until it would begin.
Lily stepped through the doors and back into the hallway, she looked at Sirius who was leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets.
“I’m going to murder Remus later,” she grumbled and walked down the hall. Sirius jogged after her.
“Why?”
“Here’s your jacket. You know that comment he made about her eating a lot of chocolate?” Sirius took his jacket back and nodded. “She took it to heart and doesn’t want to eat it any more. Well, as much as she normally does. And it makes her feel as close to as hundred percent as she can get around this time.” Sirius frowned. “You know, she cares so much about Remus, and I really don’t think he gets that,” Lily shook her head.
“I think you may be right,” Sirius mumbled and looked back down the hallway the two of them had just come from.
You woke on the floor in the Room. The floor was ice cold and your clothes were in shreds and were hanging onto your body loosely. You were bleeding here and there and sat back, rubbing the back of your neck you groan. You could see the sun was rising from the window the room always provided you.
You glanced at the pile of chocolate and went to get it before you untied yourself but stopped. No. You didn’t need anything right now. You’d be fine.
You undid the rope on your arms and legs. You held your wrists carefully, they were bruised and splattered with dry blood from you tugging at them and flinched every time you ran your hand over an open cut.
Shaking yourself, you stood up and grabbed a fresh set of clothes and your “Journal”. After every full moon you would write down what you remembered, just to get it out of your head. You never talked about it, like your brother did. He really didn;t have to, but you knew that he always needed to get it out to. So instead of making his friends hear it since they were already there with him, he told you.
You quickly rinsed the blood off yourself to the best of your ability until you could take a shower, and tossed on a pair of oversized sweatpants and a tank top with a jacket. The room had provided you with a couch, which you gratefully took with a book, your journal, and some of the non-chocolate food Lily had brought with her yesterday. It would be a while until you would be mentaly fine enough to leave.
Remus was in the medical wing sleeping, three of the four boys asleep in the uncomfortable chairs that surrounded his bed, as usual. Madame Pomfrey had been up and had been ready to tend to Remus’ wounds as usual and had left him and the boys to sleep. James and Peter found it easy to slip into sleep for the rest of the morning, but Sirius found it harder than normal, and he knew it was because of you.
After his ninth attempt to fall asleep he rose and left the room, a silent nod to the healer sitting at her cabinet and writing something, before he left through the doors and quickly made his way to the Room of Requirement.
No one was up yet, he didn’t even know if you were. But he knew no one should have to go through that alone, which you obviously had been doing since second year. It just didn’t sit right with him. He stopped at the wall leading to the Room of Requirement and waited for doors to form. Which they did. He opened the door quietly and stepped in to see you on the couch you looked up, expecting Lily.
“Sirius?”
“Hey.”
“How’d you know where I was?”
“Lily.”
“Right. Well, shouldn’t you be asleep in the hospital wing then?”
“Couldn’t sleep,” He shrugged and sat on the couch you were occupying. “Studying?” You shrugged and moved some of your notes, still not emotionally or mentaly stable enough to deal with people. But because it was him, and your emotions were still in a knot of confusion, you let him stay.
Did your heart always beat this fast when he was this close?
“Did you get your jacket back?” You picked up a piece of chocolate. “Chocolate?” He grabbed the bar and opened it.
“Yeah, Lily gave it back to me yesterday. I was a little disappointed not to see you before the full moon.” You shrugged and ate a strawberry, eyeing Sirius’s chocolate with want, but resisted opening your own.
“I took the potion and rushed in here to get ready,” you motioned to the ropes on the ground; you hadn’t had the energy to clean it up yet.
“Ropes?” His gaze flickered between you, the ropes and your hands, which you were playing with nervously. “You… tie yourself down?” He looked almost horrified.
“Yeah,” you looked at the wall. “Precautions. I don’t take them lightly.” He didn’t know what to say to that. He knew Remus was cautions about this but tying yourself up like that while you went through the agony of transforming?
“Let me see your hands,” he reached out to you, but the motion only made you bring them into yourself. You got shit from Lily when she saw them, you didn’t need that twice. “Y/N, please.” You swallowed and handed them to him. His leg started to bounce at the new, red marks on your wrists.
“It-it's really fine.” you tried to pull them back, but he didn’t let you. He didn’t look up at you and you waited for him to start yelling. Lily always did.
“How bad does it hurt?” You were shocked by the amount of kindness in his voice. You swallowed.
“Uh-not terribly. I mean, my wrists are kind of used to getting torn up like this, so I mean…” You bit your lip and tried to peel the layers off. “I mean, I guess it kind of stings. ANd my back kind aches, but uh… its.. Uh.. fine.”
“Why don’t you go to the hospital wing?”
“Because you guys and Remus are there. If I showed up every full moon when you were all there, it would be a bit suspicious, don’t ya think?”
“Yes, but you’re injured.” You shrugged sadly.
“I've had worse than a few rope burns. I mean, you’ve seen my arms.”
“And Lily said that's not even close to the end of your scars,” you flinched slightly. Which was he talking about? Mentaly or physically?
You knew this wasn;t the moment to be exactly thinking it, but damn when he wanted to he could literally be so gentle and it made you want to burst.
“Yeah. Before the potion and figuring out the rope charm it was pretty bumpy. I mean, it's still not exactly smooth sailing, but- I’m rambling now,” you shook your head and pulled your hands away from him, tucking your hands into your sleeves.
“Have you eaten any chocolate yet?” He asked, rising and making his way to the pile on the floor.
“I haven’t really felt like it,” you shrugged, not even attempting to make the lie seem real. He rolled his eyes and started rifling through the bars.
“Liar.” He grabbed one and tossed it to you. “Here. Eat this, you’ll feel better.”
“I’m fine, Sirius. Really.” You poked at the bar a few times, contemplating taking it. “You look exhausted though. You were out with my brother all night, you should get some sleep.”
“So should you.” You rolled your eyes and looked back down at the potions book in your hands.
“I have to study for this potions assignment with Jacob. I’ve been too distracted with this past full moon.”
“Yes I can see how turning into a werewolf would be distracting,” he scoffed and took the book from your hands.
“Sirius,” you whined.
“What potion did you even get?” His face fell a bit when he noticed the love potion on the page. The majority of the students who did this potion together ended up together.
“It's easy, but a lot of information,” you sighed and grabbed the book back. “I mean, not easy easy. But its,” you shook your head. “Never mind. Forget it,” you sighed and ran your hands over your face.
“Who do you think you're gonna smell?” He asked, leaning back casually, even though he hated himself for asking.
“Probably no none. And the person I hope I smell, well I doubt they'd even consider me,” you rolled your eyes. “I’ll probably smell chocolate and lavender. Or something like that.” But in your head you weren;t thinking about chocolate and lavender. Ok, that was a lie. You were thinking about chocolate, it was right in front of you and your sensitive sense of smell was amplifying it. But you were really expecting to smell was the boy sitting next to you. And you knew you wouldn’t mix his scent with anyone else's.
“Heh. They’d be crazy not to, love.” You blushed but buried your head into your book further. He looked over at you and bounced his leg a few more times.
“You should probably get back to Rem. I’ll probably follow you a bit later to check in on him and give him some chocolate.” He frowned.
“Shouldn;t you be eating all this?”
“I only normally eat a few pieces and give the rest to him. He has it worse than me.” You shrugged. “He deserves it more.”
“And aren’t you supposed to be mad at him?” You shrugged again.
“How my full moons go are based on my emotions. It's better to make up with him. Make everything go back to normal, like it normally does when we get into an argument.”
“Ok, but it wasn;t fair the way he treated you. I know he was on edge, but-”
“Sirius, it's fine. Really. We were both just on edge. And it was fair. I mean, not the Slytherin comments, but the rest of it was.”
“Will you at least eat something before you go? Or get some sleep?”
“I slept plenty after my transformation and I ate lots.”
“Chocolate,” He said exasperatedly. “Eat some chocolate.” You took the bar of chocolate he had given you and took a bite out of it.
“Never thought someone would have to make me eat chocolate.”
“Never thought I’d have to make you,” you frowned, thinking back to your twin's comment.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, you would just eat it without even thinking. Ever since Remus made that comment-”
“Rightfully said,” you hummed cutting him off. He sighed and took your book again, kneeling in front of you.
“Why do you care so much about what he says? Especially when he’s not himself?”
“Because I need to make him feel happier. He’s like this because of me. Because of my mistake to want to see the stars he’s in pain.”
“And so are you. Why do you keep torturing yourself?”
“I’m not. I just… I don’t know. God I’m such a mess afterwards,” you groaned, tears pricking your eyes.
“Yeah, well, that's expected,” he smirked and it made you give hima laugh-sob in reply. “Here,” he urged, handing you the half finished chocolate bar. You took a desperate few bites out of it and let the tears fall. He wiped them away quickly and let his hand fall on your knee. “Better?” you nodded and wiped your face to rid it of any chocolate.
“Yeah, sor-”
“Don’t apologize. You should sleep. You look absolutely horrid,” you laughed pitifully and nodded, finally admitting to your exhaustion.
“Yeah, ok. You might be right.”
“Might be? I’m always right.” You laughed again and went to stand up.
“Yeah yeah. Alright. You're always right. I’ll sleep after I make sure Remus is alright.” You promised.
He wanted to argue but knew he wouldn’t win.
“Alright. Come on. Then I’m taking you straight to the dorm room.”
“I have to clean up first. Go ahead, I’ll follow.” He shook his head.
“I’ll come back later and do it.”
“Sirius-”
“No arguing. Come on,” he dragged you out of the room. You visited your brother who was still asleep. James and Peter were up and waiting for Remus to wake up. Once you saw him Sirius dragged you out and to your dorm room forcing you to go to sleep or he would make you eat chocolate until you turned into it. You gladly fell into a dreamless sleep, unknowing of him wrapping your wrists since you were such a heavy sleeper.
You woke up on Monday when Lily shook you awake for class. You could tell she felt bad about it, but you assured her it was fine. You noticed your hands were wrapped and wondered who had done it. That's when you noticed your stomach growling. Quickly you got dressed and shoved chocolate into your bag for Remus and ran down to the Great Hall where everyone already was. You took your usual seat in between Remus and Sirius.
“Hey!” You said cheerfully and grabbed some food and put it on your plate. “Rem, could you pass me the chocolate chip muffins please?” He did so as if nothing was wrong and even bumped your shoulder with his. Sirius just watched, not understanding how your three huge fights could so easily turn back to this. All your classes went as usual, even lunch went well.
Then it was time for potions. You walked in with James and Remus but had to make your way to Jacob instead of sitting with them. You had decided it would be fair to split the research and then have him write the essay while you made the potion.
“Hey Jacob!” You smiled brightly at the Slytherin.
“Hello, Y/N. You have your half of the research?” You nodded and handed him your papers. Excellent. Should we get started then?”
“Sounds good to me! Who do you think you’ll smell?” He glanced over at a hufflepuff with bright red hair across the room.
“I hope I know who.” You smiled. “You?” You blushed.
“I wish. I mean, I have an idea, but they’ll never like me back, especially now.” He shook his head.
“You're super cool, Y/N/N. They’d be insane not to.”
“Thanks, Jacob. Let's get to it then?”
“Lets!” For the rest of class the two of you worked, quietly chatting occasionally as you finished the project together. You heard an explosion and glanced up and Remus and James who were just staring at their cauldron. James obviously being the one who added the wrong ingredient. You snorted and went back to your own potion mixing it together carefully, the brew being the perfect shade of pink. He sat up in his seat and looked at you wide eyed. “It's finished?”
You smiled. “You smell it already? It still has a few hours of brewing.” He nodded. He looked over to the hufflepuff boy.
“Yeah. I can smell it. You?” You swallowed and took a whiff.
Gasoline, smoke, cinnamon apples and chocolate. God that was it. That was him.
“Yeah,” you sighed. “Yeah I smell it.” Slughorn came over and looked into the cauldron.
“My my, looks like you two are finished already! Is your essay finished as well?” You looked over at Jacob who wrote a few more things down and handed it to Slughorn who skimmed it, seeming to be happy with it. “Splendid splendid. Well done you two. You can be finished for today. As a matter of fact, everyone is dismissed if you feel like you are finished. We will be continuing this tomorrow and then they will be due the next day.” The class erupted into chatter and the Hufflepuff boy came over, Jacob held his breath as he stopped in front of him smelling the air. He looked over at him, lust blown eyes.
He bit his lip and sauntered out of the room with a swing to his hips, glancing back at him before leaving the door. You chuckled as he just stared, gawking.
“Go get him, Lover boy!” He grinned at you and ran out of the room after the Hufflepuff. You cleaned up as the room emptied. You told Remus and James to go on without you to lunch. You would be there for a few minutes.
You continued to clean up the station, not bothering to stop smelling your potion, the scent put you at ease. It always did. And you really needed to be at ease right then.
You walked back over to your workbench to see Sirius entering the room.
“Hey, Sirius!” You smiled and he smiled back before stopping, smelling the air. He looked at the potion, swallowed and then back at you. You frowned and went back to cleaning up, making sure not to look at him. But you couldn’t help but wonder who he was smelling. It was clearly not you.
He began to help you clean up and the air was suddenly tense between you. And you just couldn’t take it anymore.
“So, who do you smell?” You asked, jumping onto the work table and cocking your head at him. He shrugged. “Come on, I want to know. As your best friend, I have a right to know.” He hummed in response and inclined his head.
“Just like how I had a right to know your secret?” You looked away.
“I said I was sorry. I just, I was scared if it got out that Remus would find out. I just didn’t want Remus to know that he got turned and I got turned. I would have much rather it been me and only me rather than the both of us.”
“I would've rather it be neither of you,” you smiled up at him.
“Yeah, same. So who do you smell?”
“Why don;t you tell me?” he countered and you chewed your lip. “Come on, just tell me,” he got closer to you, smiling as he glanced up at him. You have no idea where the rush of courage came from. But it came.
“You,” you shrugged, he went wide eyed and stepped back, coughing.
“M-me?” You shrugged, playing it off.
“You,” he smirked at you, composing himself again.
“And what exactly do I smell like?” He asked, placing a hand on either side of your body. You thought about it for a moment, but you knew. Even without him right in front of you and the potion right beside you, you knew.
“Gasoline and smoke from that motorcycle you always work on, Cinnamon and apples because though you’d never admit it they are your favorite, and chocolate because you're always around me or Rem.” he stared at you. You narrowed your eyes at him. “Who do you smell?” It took him a moment to find his voice, and each second he took you waited in agony. What if you just confessed to your best friend and he didn’t like you back. But he smiled after a moment.
“You,” he replied simply, making your eyes go wide. You had been hoping, but it was actually the last thing you had expected to hear.
“An-and what exactly do I smell like?”
“Lavender, from that motorizer you always wear before you go to sleep, chocolate because you practically survive on the stuff- which is adorable-, and ink because you are constantly spilling it all over the place,” as he spoke his voice had gotten lower and lower, and with his voice his gaze also dropped. It dropped all the way down to your lips which you were playing with.
“Wo-wow,” you stuttered out, not knowing how to react. WHat do you do? You were panicking. And before you could say anything or do anything, his lips were on yours and he was standing in between your legs. His mouth was warm on yours and you wrapped your arms around his neck bringing him closer as he brought his hands to your hips to bring you closer. But then a familiar thought rang through your head.
You don’t deserve this…
“Sirius, wait,” you pulled away and he leaned away from you, his hands still on your hips, he looked at you curiously.
“What's wrong?”
“I-I don’t deserve this. I-I can’t put you through this.” He scrunched his eyebrows together.
“What do you mean?” You buried your head in your hands and shook your head. Headache was approaching and you needed your chocolate. After the full moon was never as bad as before, but that didn’t mean you didn’t have your share of problems.
Sirius seemed to sense your need for chocolate because he dove into your bag and pulled out a piece, unwrapping it for you. He handed it to you and you took it gratefully.
“Can you explain what you meant?”
“You deserve better than me. I mean. You're you. And who am I? I’m a weirdo screw up who got her brother bitten by a werewolf.”
“No,” he pulled your face back up to his and looked at you. “You are perfect. I have had a crush on you since second year. And I’ll be damned if I let your insecurities get in the way of me taking care of you.”
“But-”
He shoved the chocolate back into your mouth, shaking his head.
“Do you like me?” you nodded as you chewed the chocolate. He smiled and pecked your lips, your mouth still full of chocolate. “That's all that matters to me. I think we have a few things to tell your brother now though,” you frowned and nodded sadly. You didn’t want to, you really didn’t. He kissed you again and you brought him in closer. You still felt guilty, and you knew you always would. You couldn’t change that. But you could try for him. You could be the best for him. Because the boy standing in front of you, wiping excess chocolate from his own mouth, he was everything you had ever wanted.
And you would be everything he ever wanted in return.

Treasures Left and Promises Made - Borusara Fanfiction
A long time ago I received a few asks with few of the prompts I've used in this piece. Funnily enough, this oneshot deviated way too much off the prompts for bsaweek than I expected but since I've already worked on it, I decided to post it! Hope you like it!
Word count: 1k
Genre: Minor Angst and Hurt/Comfort
Treasures left and Promises Made
The wind around him raged, and he watched the fields and forests being torn apart from the inside of his safe haven. It was good that he found this abandoned house when he did. Suddenly, a leaf slapped on the window pane he was looking through and it was enough to make his thoughts reel back to the village hidden in the leaves - Konohagakure.
His home.
His family.
His people.
And,
His her.
Sarada.
He wasn't sure if she had found his message. He wasn't sure if she was willing to come and see him. He wasn't sure if the village has noticed his absence or not. He wasn't sure if she was willing to let him go that easily.
He was not sure of a lot of things. In fact, this entire self proclaimed mission of his was completely insane.
All though...he was sure of one thing.
Whatever he was doing? It was never going to make anyone happy.
"So, you're leaving again, aren't you?"
Boruto almost jumped at her presence behind him. He whirled around to face her and his heart immediately twisted at the disappointment in her eyes. She was soaked, just like he was, standing in heavy rain in front of him. Boruto chokes on the answer.
"I didn't sense you coming." He replied, taking a step closer to her.
They stood on the opposite ends of the valley of end - a place where their fathers battled once upon a time.
"I had to suppress my chakra. The village shouldn't know that I'm here as well." She said monotonously.
"Uh...yeah." Boruto didn't know what to say. It was moronic. To call her here via a letter and then have nothing to say. This was a farewell, wasn't it? For an indefinite time. She wasn't daring to break the silence too, most probably waiting for him to gather his thoughts.
So he had to speak up.
"I didn't really expect that you'd come."
"You called me, didn't you?" She raised the familiar piece of paper he had written his request on to, pinched between her fingers. "Can't say I'm surprised though."
"Eh?! How did you-"
Her words throw him off guard. He has been quite meticulous and secretive with his planning. How did she…? But then again - he should have remembered that it was her. She knew him better than he did himself.
"You have been quite spaced out, agitated and busy with your own self. I had an inkling that you were planning something." She averted his gaze as if it was physically painful for her to look at him.
"Did you...tell anyone about this?" He asked, hesitant.
Her gaze flicked back at him. A long moment of silence passed before she said, "No...I didn't."
"Sarada, I- listen, please!" He was not even sure what he was explaining but he understood that she deserved it. Taking so much trouble for his sake...this was definitely the least he could offer.
"Sarada, I have to do this, you know. Kawaki...he never had a family. But he liked it here! He called Konoha his home. He cared about Dad...and Hima and also Mom. He cared about me too! And us, all of us. I don't know what happened. But I can't just accept it. I can't let that man take Kawaki away from us when he didn't want to leave...I want to save Kawaki. As his family. As...his brother? It is something I must do."
Boruto couldn't meet her gaze. After everything...it must have seemed to her as if he was willing to abandon his family, his friends and his village and her for Kawaki's sake. But that was not true! At all.
He might have never even experienced a fraction of pain that Kawaki had to go through. And probably could never connect to him the way his dad did. But that made him even more desperate to give Kawaki the life he deserved. He wondered though, if she understands his motives.
"I do. I do understand."
The loud voice of rain hitting the earth overpowers her whispered words but somehow, he hears them - loud and clear.
"I won't stop you, if you're worrying about that. I get why you want to search for him. You can go. I won't tell anyone anything."
He feels his eyes burn with unshed tears. Her accepting his decision and his reasons so easily overwhelmed him. He was thankful to her in every possible way. Funny thing though, everytime he thought she could not stun him again, she did.
"At first" she started, "I...wanted to come with you. But then I remembered that someone among the two of us...has to stay here. To take care of everyone else. So I'll be here." She gave him a melancholic, understanding smile - a genuine one nonetheless. God, she looked beautiful - heartbreakingly so.
Boruto felt his throat constrict, words clogging, unable to come out. He crossed the distance between them and without thinking anything, pulled her into his arms, burying his face into the crook of her neck pressing her as close to him as humanly possible. When she latched onto him immediately, encircling him in her arms he realised how hard it was for her as well.
"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." He chanted repeatedly.
Her lips pressed against his ear, her hands clutching the shirt on his back and she whispered, "Promise me you'll return back."
Boruto felt his heart shatter into millions of pieces. She sobbed as he lightly pulled away from her and brushed the bangs that stuck on her forehead gently. His other hand held hers in a soft grip. His thumb rubbed against her knuckles, tenderly and comfortingly. He leaned in, placing his lips on her forehead, staying there, wondering if somehow she could understand everything he felt for her.
"I will."
...
He noticed that the storm has passed away and the orange and golden sunlight poured in through the small window. Boruto felt a smile creep up his lips. It's been three years since that fateful day he had left home. But even now remembering those moments and the feel of having her in his arms made a bittersweet nostalgia build up in conscience.
Grabbing his bag and slinging upon his shoulder, he exited the little hut, ready to continue on his way always thinking of the treasures and years he had left behind.
But also of the promises he has made and of the people who are waiting for him.
"Will you...wait for me?"
"I will."
....
Well everyone! It's my first submission for the week and I hope you liked it! Please let me know your thoughts!!! Thank you for reading!

manipulation - b&s; h&i.
pairing: boruto uzumaki x sarada uchiha; himawari uzumaki x inojin yamanaka

word count: 2,778
when it happens: himawari is almost 18 here
warnings: little dirty, sorry
a/n: this is my first oneshot that doesn’t envolve the reader??? well you know what i mean, but i am really excited for this one. by the way, it seems today is fanfic writers day so that’s why i posted two stories on the same day. i doubt this will happen again, but who knows
masterlist on bio
“She is my sister!” Boruto frowned. Sarada’s face was on the crook of his neck, her nails scratching his back. He tried to remain his breath even but it was so hard. It was just unbelievable the power she had over him.
“And Inojin is your friend! They started dating 3 months ago, Boruto, and you completely cut them off,” Sarada whispered against his skin.
“Still, she is my sister! I don’t want to double date them,” he said, a little bit frustrated. If it was a normal morning on bed to them, Boruto would be all over her, but that moment, he couldn’t stop thinking about his little sister and her boyfriend and it was a little turn off.
"Boruto, imagine if I had a sister and, I don't know, Mitsuki or Shikadai started to date her. Wouldn't you tell me it was ridiculous that I destroyed my relationship with them because of it?" she tried again, trying another perspective. His hands wander under her light shirt, as almost instinctively, careful to keep from her bra at first. He was still trying to keep this conversation going, and a wrong move could make him give up, letting her win this discussion.
"Uhmm..." he looked to the ceiling as he stroke her stomach with his rough palms. Her skin felt like velvet against his. "No, it wouldn't be necessary in this scenario."
"What? Why?" Sarada pulled away, staring at him in confusion.
"If your dad had another daughter, man... He would kill anyone before the thought of touching her crossed someone's mind," he hesitated for a moment before his hands wander carefully to her bra. The discussion wasn't over yet, and he was wondering if he could do her and the conversation at the same time.
"My dad haven't killed you," she laughed, as she stripped herself of her loose shirt very slowly. Boruto's eyes met with her peachy skin and he was already riled up more than anything else.
"It's because I asked him to be his student, he can legally make me suffer and say it is for my own good," Boruto tried to say as Sarada threw her bra somewhere in the room. For a moment, Boruto forgot he was in the middle of an important conversation. This time, he was taking in every aspect of her, from the beauty scar next to her navel, to the tautness of her stomach, to the swell of her breasts, right up to her protruding clavicles and sharp shoulders.
Boruto has never seen something as beautiful as her.
“She is turning 18 this month, will you not talk to her?” she asked, taking him away from his rambling. She knew all his weak spots, both mentally and physically, as she leaned in to give him lovebites on his neck and collarbone.
“Do you remember what you gave me for my 18 birthday?” he raised his brows, trying not to remember a Sarada wearing a black lace lingerie. Even after years now, just the thought of it could make his body shiver.
“Shannaroo, I loved that lingerie! Thinking well, my dad would probably kill you if he knew what I gave you for your birthday,” she sat on his stomach, caressing his chest with her nails. “We are doing it.”
“I can do you,” Boruto said, pulling her closer to his mouth. “I am not going on a date with them.”
“Boruto,” Sarada pulled him back into a soft, gentle kiss that slowly turned into something fiery. She grinded into him, slowly, as a moan escape his lips. “We are doing both.”
“You are not using sex to manipulate me, Sarada,” he said, closing his eyes when he felt her hands going to the hem of his boxers.
-
“I can’t believe you used sex to manipulate me, Sarada,” her hand was intertwined on his, waiting for Himawari and Inojin to arrive, standing outside of a barbecue shop.
“Stop it, you didn’t seem to despise the idea when I asked you this morning,” she teased, hugging him tightly, her head pressing his chest. It was really fun how he manage to get taller than her. It remembered her of the Lord Seventh and Aunt Hinata, the huge weight difference between them always showing.
“It was hard to say no when you had your mouth aro-“
“Nii-chan!”
Even if she didn’t have her ear pressed on his chest, Sarada would know the exactly moment his heart skipped a beat hearing his sister’s voice. Boruto could try to hide as much as he could, but he would walk through Hell if that made Himawari happy.
Sarada took a step back, hearing the sigh of her boyfriend in the process.
“Hima-chan! Inojin!” She walked towards them and hugged them both. Boruto stayed still, watching the scene with a heavy heart. He did want to hug Himawari, but he was too stubborn for that.
Both couples entered the barbecue shop Sarada had picked. The table they chose was next to a window and Boruto rapidly sat next to it. The cold breeze of the night helping him to calm his nerves down.
Himawari was clearly sad her older brother didn’t pay attention to her. She missed him deeply, and wanted so bad to break this huge wall that existed between them.
“So Hima,” Sarada broke the awkward silence on the table. “What about the missions? I heard you got an rank-A for the first time.”
Boruto turned his head, surprised. Did she participate on her first mission ranked A? How come Sarada knew about it and he didn’t?
“Yeah, we had to track down two kidnapers, it was very intense but everything ended up well and the mission was a success,” she said, proudly.
Boruto was insanely proud of her too, but he didn’t know how to say it, or even if he was allowed to tell her that after shutting her down for so long. A quick glance over Inojin made his heart heavier. Inojin stared at Himawari like she was the only one in the room. Boruto had witnessed a couple in love before, but he never saw the sparkle he was currently noticing in Inojin’s blue eyes as he watched his little sister. Boruto couldn’t help but wonder if he had the same expression when he looked at the black haired girl next to him.
“What about your jutsus?” He forced himself to speak, earning a grin in response from Sarada. “Have you been practicing?”
“Oh yeah,” Himawari answered, a little bit more excited than usual. “I have learned the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and how to use my Byakugan at the same time.”
“You did WHAT?” Boruto’s voice cracked at the end, looking at his sister in awe. It was only three months, she didn’t even manage to make a good clone, whatever a shadow one who could use her kekkei genkai.
“She is amazing, you would love to see her battling, Boruto,” Inojin talked for the first time. “Although she is a little impulsive yet, it kind reminds me of you.”
Boruto swallowed hard as Himawari and Sarada giggled. He could feel the tension between them all slipping away and he had to admit it was a good thing.
“Hima, don’t be reckless like your brother, please,” Sarada said. “He is still a pain in the ass every time we go for a mission.”
“Well, you don’t know if something is going to work unless you tried,” Himawari said, winking at Boruto. A small smile played on his lips.
“That’s my sister,” Boruto said, a fist punching the air. Himawari smiled the biggest he had even seen.
The whole night went on without any incidents. They talked about everything, and Himawari made it somehow a way to catch up on the last months. She got shocked when he found out Boruto managed to do almost three hundred shadow clones, as she was still struggling with five, but he knew her byakugan demanded a lot of chakra, so the fact itself that she could do five was brilliant enough.
During the evening, Boruto couldn’t stop to be bothered by the way Inojin treated Himawari. If she wasn’t his sister, he would make sure Inojin had drawn her and give her life. He was so loving and caring, always paying attention with her and melting every time her attention was locked on him.
"Well, tonight is on me," Sarada finally said. "Hima, would you accompany me while I pay?"
Hima just nodded and left the table, following Sarada and leaving the two boys sitting there.
"Boruto..." Inojin sighed.
"Just... Don't break her heart, Inojin," Boruto said, still looking where his girls had just left. "Please."
"It is easier she will break mine," he got up and stood a hand to help Boruto to do the same. They walked towards the door, until Boruto put his arm in front of Inojin.
"One more thing," his tone was lower and more threatning than usual. "If something about my sister in bed comes to my ear, I will make sure I will kill you myself."
Inojin face was painted in red, rushing his steps to find Himawari next Sarada, waiting for both of them on the door.
"This was fun, we should do it again," Himawari said, excitedly, before Boruto pulled her to  tight hug. She happily crossed his waist with her arms, holding as tight as she could. She pulled back a little. "Are you going home? We could walk together."
Boruto saw Sarada opening her mouth to tell him it was okay if he wanted to go with her, but he was faster.
"Sorry Hima, I need to help Sarada with something tonight, but I am sure Inojin will walk you there, right?" Boruto glanced over the white boy behind her, who was whitter than usual. He just nodded.
One of the reasons Sarada managed to make him to come to this double date was the fact that she swore she would buy another black lacy underwear, just like she used on his birthday years ago. During the dinner, he saw a black strap falling from her shoulder. He didn't intend to go anywhere tonight until he could see that masterpiece.
Sarada undestood what he had done. Her right arm wrapped around his waist as he hugged her with his left arm, mouthing a couple of goodbyes, they turned and followed their path.
-
"You know I am sitting on you here on this couch and you didn't do, well, nothing?" Sarada told Boruto, getting impatient.
Boruto was anxious to take all her clothes to see her lingerie, but he couldn't stop thinking about something he had realized as they walked home.
"I told Inojin if one day, something about my sister in bed reached my ears I would kill him," Boruto said, simply, not like he had just threatened someone.
"You did what?" Sarada got so shocked her glasses even fell down her face.
"He blushed, Sarada. What does it mean? Does it mean they have already done it?" Boruto asked in pure horror as Sarada held a laughter that was forming in the back of her throat.
"Boruto, do you know the trick in bed you always like to use?" Sarada questioned in return, leaning in to place a kiss on his clenched jaw.
"The  Kage Bunshin one? Do you want me to-WOAH NO WAY," Boruto yelled as realization of what his girlfriend was telling him.
"And she can use the byakugan, friend, as he can read her mind," Sarada continued, teasingly.
"I think I will throw up," he pushed her to his side, standing up from the couch. "Actually, I think I am going to kill Inojin right now."
He walked towards the door, but stopped when he heard a zipper noise. Looking over his shoulder, his eyes met a half naked Sarada, wearing just the black underwear. Boruto could swear this one was better - and even more transparent - than she used before.
His mouth suddenly ran dry.
"Priorities, right?" she sat on the couch, giving him a good vision of her ass.
He turned back to the door, but as soon as he took a step forward, he shook his head and went straight for the couch.
"You have to stop to use sex to manipulate me," Boruto said once he reached her. "It is not healthy for us."
"It is if it keeps you from murdering one of our friends," she grabbed his shirt and pulled him down to the couch, laying on the top of her, one of his hand pressed next to her so he wouldn't crush her with his weight.
"I will tell my father that the future next Hokage is using sex as a weapon," he joked, his free hand travelling her whole body.
"I don't think he will be against it," she placed a wet kiss on his collarbone.
"Are you seriously suggesting you would manipulate my old man with sex?"
Sarada gasped at his response, pulling him away. Boruto, unbalanced, fell of the couch.  "How can you be so- of course not, you idiot! I am saying I don't think he would reprove me manipulating you since it is one of the few things that can control you."
"Good," he said, crawling back to the sofa, sitting and then pulling Sarada to sit on his lap. "I can surely beat the crap out of Inojin, not sure about my dad though," he kissed the middle of her chest, taking in her amazing smell.
"You're annoying, shut up!" Her head tilted back, as Boruto's kisses went from her bra to her neck. Her heart fluttered at the feeling of his mouth dropping slow, affectionate kisses on her crook. Sarada's hand tightned in his golden locks in a silent, appreciative gesture, and he lifted his head in response, nudging his nose with hers.
"Gladly," he couldn't help but to lean in and kiss her sweetly, moving both arms to wrap around her middle to pull her body closer to his.
-
A few houses away...
"My brother told you WHAT?" Himawari said, in a screaming-whisper.
"Your mother is sleeping and she has the byakugan, keep your tone low!" Inojin pressed his palm against Himawari's mouth, until she calmed herself.
"What did you answer him?" she hissed at her boyfriend, looking up to Inojin. Both of them were laying on her tiny bed, all of their limbs intertwined, her head resting on his chest.
"I didn't, what was supposed to tell him?" Inojin frowned. "Sorry Boruto, but I am not the pervert on my relationship? I told you to behave in front of them, Himawari!"
"But I did," she pouted, tracing his abdominal muscles with her soft fingers.
"Yeah? And try to give me a handjob under the table was your way of telling me you were behaving?" Inojin breathed out, feeling helpless. That tiny girl in his arms could drive him crazy as no one else could, in every sense of the word possible. “Do you have any idea of how hard was for me to control myself in front of your brother who threatened me?”
"Well, yes. Do you want to know what I was going to do if I did not behave?" Her hand trailed down his stomach to the hem of his pants.
"Your sister-in-law has a freaking sharingan, Himawari! She could have seen it," Inojin grabbed her hand before she could do whatever she was planning.
"But Sarada-chan didn't," she let herself go from his grip, now cupping his cheeks with both hands. Himawari didn't say a thing, she didn't need too. She was a open book, and Inojin was fully aware of it.
"I love you, you tiny woman, but we are not doing it."
"Fine," she gave up, turning her back to him. He shook his head as he chuckled. Inojin pulled her small body against his, pressing hard as he tugged his right hand on her shorts, grabbing her ass in the process.
Smiling, she turned to him, and her face found the crook of his neck, placing little kisses there. "I swear one day you will be the death of me," he told her, concentrating to not fall under her temptation.
"Well, I will make sure it will be worth it," she stated. Her lips dragged themselves across his face, giving him slow, lazy kisses, a half smile tugging at her lips when he let out a content sigh and stroked up her side affectionately. His hand then moved to cup her cheek, thumb stroking her skin fondly. Her eyes fell shut as he pressed  soft kiss to her forehead, his nose nuzzling the crown of her hair, and then falling asleep in that position.

“What’s got you so snappy?” Shikadai grimaced and shot a glare towards Boruto, who only crossed his arms and mockingly repeated his question.
Shikadai sighed and looked to Inojin, who was leafing through his sketchbook. Without looking up, he replied casually, “Boruto isn’t getting laid.”
“Haaah?” Shikadai raised an eyebrow and looked at Boruto. “Haven’t you been together for like, nearly a year now?”
“Ten months,” Boruto specified before deflating on the table. “Sarada’s been away for a diplomatic mission in Ame for three months now. Maybe I just miss her.”
“You’re not getting laid,” Inojin pressed.
Shikadai snickered. “Why not, Boruto?”
He shrugged one shoulder and sighed. “I don’t wanna rush her into it, ya know?”
“But ten months,” Inojin highlighted, “and nothing?”
“We kiss and stuff,” Boruto muttered. “And like, I don’t… I don’t really know how to bring it up…”
“What’s there to bring up?” Shikadai asked, and took a sip of his cola.
“Consent, asshole,” Boruto snapped. “It’s a thing, ya know?”
Inojin laughed. “Ah, right. Yodo went straight for it, though.”
The dark haired boy choked on his drink. “It wasn’t like that! You promised you wouldn’t bring that up, you little shit!”
Inojin grinned angelically and turned his gaze to Boruto. “Why not just ask her?”
Boruto’s blue eyes grew wide. “Wh-what? You mean like… straight up?” His cheeks colored.
“Why not?” Shikadai drawled and rested his chin on his palm. “Sarada’s a practical girl. I think she would prefer you just don’t beat around the bush if you want it that much.”
Both eyes were on Boruto, and his cheeks burned even brighter. “But–but!”
Both boys gaped at him. “Wait, wait,” Shikadai raised his hand in the air. “Are you… shy?”
He hid his face behind his hands. “Don’t be ridiculous!”
“Oh my fuck, you are,” Inojin laughed. Shikadai joined him, too. After they settled down, Inojin took pity on his friend and offered, “Why not just ask her to Ninflix and chill, then?”
“Ah, sure. Hide it behind seemingly innocent intentions,” Shikadai snickered.
“Ninflix and chill…” Boruto mulled over the idea for a while. “Do you think that’ll work?”
“Why not?” Shikadai asked. “Just make sure her parents aren’t around.”
“Or your parents aren’t around,” Inojin then hastily added, “as well as Hima-chan. Ah, don’t worry,” he grinned. “I can take care of that for you.”
“Shut up, you sisterfucker!”
Sarada dropped her bag on the floor and quietly announced, “I’m home.”
The house was dark, and there was no response. She noticed the bright pink post it on the wall by the mirror. She took it and read its contents.
Out with your Papa. We’ll be back tomorrow. There’s food in the fridge. Love you.
Placing the note down, she sighed. Sarada was excited to see her parents, but after three days of travelling, spending a night in by herself was a welcome idea. She picked her bag up and made her way upstairs to her room, only to realize that there was a presence waiting for her in her room. She smiled. She knew that chakra signature anywhere.
As soon as she opened the door, her field of vision was covered with yellow. Behind a giant bouquet of sunflowers, Boruto grinned and greeted her, “Welcome home, Sarada.”
Her heart soared and the smile on her face widened. “I’m home.”
After placing the flowers away in a vase, she found Boruto plopped on the couch, holding the remote with one hand while the other beckoned her to come closer.
Her eyes flickered to the screen and noticed that Ninflix was on the selection page. She smiled. A movie sounded nice.
“Hey, Sarada…”
She came over and sat down on the couch with him, moving a little closer than the usual. When his cheeks colored and looked away, Sarada hesitated. Perhaps she read the situation wrong. She thought he would have been okay with cuddling while they watched. They haven’t seen each other in a while, after all.
The air suddenly felt so awkward, and filled the living room with tension. In order to ease it, Sarada tried reaching for the remote in his hand, but he pulled it back at the last minute. Boruto looked right into her eyes and she was startled to see how full of resolve they were.
“Sarada.” His voice was so firm, a shiver ran down her spine.
“Yes?” Her voice came out much smaller than she had anticipated.
“Do you want to Ninflix and chill?”
She blinked once. Twice.
Was that it? He just wanted to ask her if she wanted to watch a movie and relax? Did he really need permission for that?
“Of course. I’ve been wanting to do that,” she replied, relief watching over her. For a moment there, she thought he might ask her to marry him or something.
His eyes grew wide and his lips parted. “R-really? You do?”
“I can’t think of anything better to do, can you?”
Boruto turned beet red and looked away. “O-okay. Sure. Umm… hold on for a bit, will you?” Shakily, he got up to his feet and walked over to the powder room.
Sarada quirked her eyebrow up. “He’s weirder than usual,” she muttered, but shrugged it off and flicked through Ninflix to choose a movie. She lay on her side and made herself comfortable, readying herself for Boruto to allow her to lie down on his lap. After a few moments, she felt his presence come back just as she had landed on her movie choice. Without looking his way, she asked, “Are you okay with watching a rom–”
Next thing she knew, Boruto was standing before her, as bare as the day he was born. She stopped breathing, and felt the heat rise from her neck all the way up to the top of her head. Her mouth opened and closed, but no words spilled, only a few unintelligible strangled noises. “So.. Umm.. You’re–I noticed you’re kinda naked…” Oh Kami, how she wished the ground would open up and swallow her whole. This wasn’t her first time seeing him naked, but seeing him stand nude in the middle of her living room was definitely one for the books. “Is that intentional or…”
What Boruto said next made the hairs on the back of her neck stand.
“I bet you want me pretty bad now, huh?” He wiggled his eyebrows at her.
Since the ground refused to open up, she contemplated on splitting it open with her own bare hands so she could jump in.
What the fuck was going on?
Boruto and Sarada sat on either end of the sofa, quiet and both blushing furiously. He had put on his pants, and was now hugging a throw pillow at his face. This was embarrassing. Too embarrassing.
“I… I didn’t know that’s what Ninflix and chill meant…”
“Yeah, I figured that out,” Boruto wailed, voice muffled by the pillow. How he wished it would just stop the airflow. His first attempt to have sex with Sarada just failed miserably. Under no circumstance should Shikadai and Inojin find out about this.
Sarada shifted her position on the couch uncomfortably and sighed. “Thank you, though…”
“What?” He dropped the pillow on his lap and gaped at her.
“Thank you for asking for my consent…” She turned to face him and offered him a small smile. “It means a lot to me. Although you know, you could have just said so.”
Boruto looked away and pursed his lips. “Of course. I don’t want to do anything you might not be comfortable with, ya know?”
“And yet there you were, standing naked before me just a few moments ago.” She laughed, and Boruto felt like he could die from embarrassment all over again. She slid closer to him on the couch and kissed his cheek. “Thank you, Boruto.”
A crooked smile crept up his face before blooming into a full, sunny, smile. “Anything for you, Sarada.”
She returned his smile and tucked her legs under her. “Now, can we please watch a movie? I’m desperate for cuddles.”
Boruto smirked and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. Sarada happily tucked herself on his chest and made herself comfortable. “Sure, as long as I get to make out with you when they are, too.”
“Maybe we can have sex when they’re having sex, too.”
Boruto froze. Did he really hear that right? He looked down at her face, and saw a sly smile on her face. He swallowed, and felt the blood rush through his body. “That sounds good to me.”

Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Episode 1 Review: That Hope is You, Part 1
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
This Star Trek: Discovery review contains spoilers for the Season 3 premiere.
Star Trek: Discovery Season 3, Episode 1
Star Trek: Discovery has taken a long time to find its footing. What started as a show about the Federation-Klingon war quickly became a show about the Mirror Universe quickly became a show about legacy TOS characters quickly became a show about an evil A.I. set on wiping out all living things in the universe. The Season 2 finale, which saw the Discovery jumping almost a millennia into the future, was more than just a cliffhanger—it was a much-needed narrative reset, a way to keep the characters we have grown to know and love while wiping the slate clean of the muddled worldbuilding of the first two seasons. Was it a smart choice? Judging by this first episode, it was a brilliant one.
In “That Hope is You, Part 1,” we are introduced to a strange future where anything is possible. No longer burdened by the weight of canon and continuity, Discovery finally feels like it can tell its own story—and, best of all, it doesn’t feel the pressure to rush through it. This season is taking its time. The series gives its premiere to its protagonist in a way it has rarely been willing to do before, allowing Sonequa Martin-Green the space to show her acting chops. So much of this episode relies on Martin-Green’s performance, as she is our audience surrogate to this strange new world, and she absolutely nails it. She is overjoyed (when she realizes she has saved life in the universe). She is terrified (when it first hits her she is truly alone). She is silly (when she is high on the Mercantile agents’ truth powder). She is devastated (when she cannot contact her ship). She is hopeful (when she meets Mr. Sahil). Somehow, she is able to portray these emotions all in the course of one episode (sometimes, in the course of one scene), and make it feel true.
Of course Michael isn’t the only character carrying this episode. Really, it is a two-man story, centered around the burgeoning relationship between Michael, a stranger in a strange future, and Cleveland Book (David Ajala), a courier with a special connection to animal species who is working to save as many endangered species as he can in an indifferent universe. In a way, they are very similar—both have dedicated their lives to helping those who in need. In other ways, they are very different, and that difference seems related to environment. Book has grown up in a universe without the Federation, which is to say in a world without a just institutional authority that has the power and resources to protect the innocent. This hasn’t made him cruel, but it has made him pragmatic. When he meets Michael, he really doesn’t want to help her—not because he thinks she doesn’t deserve it or he doesn’t think it’s important to help those in need, but because “everybody has a story,” and he has already chosen his specific path of positive change-making. If he chooses to help Michael, it could mean failing the trance worm he has hidden in his cargo bay.
Of course, Michael doesn’t give Book much of a choice. She demonstrates, in action, how they can help one another. When Book is at his wit’s end, he chooses the safe path: betrayal. When Michael is at her wit’s end, she chooses the brave path: hope. She hopes placing her faith in Book will pay off and, even when it doesn’t, she does it again (although not without a punch or two to his pretty face). She hopes that Discovery has made it or will make it through the temporal wormhole, even if there’s no precedent for that outcome. She hopes that the ember that is the Federation could be stirred into something bright and alive again, even if everyone in this time is telling her this hope is foolish.
Then, she meets Aditya Sahil (Adil Hussain), a man who has woken up every morning for 40 years to serve in an institution he isn’t even officially a part of, and she sees her hope mirrored in someone else’s hope. “Hope is a powerful thing,” Mr. Sahil tells Michael. “Sometimes, it is the only thing,” she replies, and there are perhaps some contexts where this exchange would be too much, but in 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic and weeks from the presidential election that has revealed the open wounds on our nation’s soul, they are words to grab onto and hold tight. Watching Star Trek has never solved any real-world problems, but it has reflected hope back at us and the value of that experience cannot be underestimated. Popular culture has power and far too few of our contemporary stories value hope in any honest way. Star Trek has always represented hope as the brave choice, as the strong one, and more than anything, this Season 3 premiere doubles down on that legacy. And, perhaps because this is a story set in a world in which there is no utopian institution that will uphold justice for all and because this is an episode that features no visibly white characters, it feels honest.
In a strange future where the Federation is no more, a red angel falls from the sky. The third season of Star Trek: Discovery has begun, and this show has never been better.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
Additional thoughts.
This is a real Mad Max: Fury Road moment…
You may have noticed that, while the title for this first episode is “That Hope is You, Part 1,” next week’s episode is not “Part 2.” Perhaps that will be the season finale?
Olatunde Osunsanmi continues to be one of the go-to directors for this show. Discovery should hold onto him for as long as they can. In this premiere, Osunsanmi makes ample use of the Icelandic countryside, playing up its desolate, alien-like tundras in some scenes and its lush natural landscapes in others. This show has never looks better and that’s saying a lot because it has always looked good.
I do wonder what Book thinks of the Michael/Aditya exchange. Has it made him believe in the Federation just a little bit more? Or does hope take a different form for him?
OK, what is up with Grudge? “She’s a queen” is not something you say about a cat—well, some people might say it, but it’s still weird. Is Grudge literally a queen? Captain Marvel has trained me to expect anything.
While I wouldn’t call this episode particularly Battlestar Galactica-esque, Michael’s crash landing on an alien planet reminded me of Starbuck’s dilemma in “You Can’t Go Home Again” and Aditya’s setup on the old Federation relay station reminded me of dude waiting for the Cylons at the beginning of the BSG miniseries. (It doesn’t go as well for him as it does for Aditya.)
Speaking of references, tell me you didn’t think of Raiders of the Lost Ark when Book told Michael to close her eyes.
I love that Michael has absolutely no chill about being a time traveler. She barely tries to hide it.
“Dilithium… one day it all just went boom.” This feels like the kind of description someone who had shitty science classes in school might use. I know this because I am in fact one of those people. But, really, what is The Burn?
When Aditya is searching for Discovery, he mentions that there are two Federation ships currently in flight within range of his sensors. Whether this means they are active Federation ships of some kind or they are simply Federation ships that have been commandeered by other people remains to be seen…
Who had Andorians and Orions on their Alien Bingo Card for Season 3?
I love how David Ajala says “tricorder.”
“It’s temperature sensitive and really valuable so it’s probably ice cream.” I have never related to Michael Burnham more.
Programmable matter and portable transporters, but few subspace channels and a scarcity of dilithium creates a future that, in some ways, is technologically leaps and bounds beyond what Michael has known, yet, in other ways, is burdened with massive limitations compared to her life in the 23rd century.
“Were you praying?” “Something like.” Michael and Burnham discuss Book’s ability to communicate with different kinds of living creatures, from a plant with medicinal properties on Hima, to the trance worm who, um, swallows Michael momentarily.
Book thanks Michael for saving the world. She deserves a thank you.
What did you think of the Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 premiere? Are you into the time jump? What is up with Grudge? And how long do you think it will be before Michael finds Discovery again? Let us know in the comments below…

Couldn't let you go
@do-what-the-knight-tells-you | AO3
I’m very sorry for being late so much. I’m in the middle of my exams, so I’m not in my right mind at the moment and I was so SURE today was the day I should have posted it, but I got it wrong so I’m sorry. Anyway, this is the first chapter, the next will come in a week or so, and there will be around… three or four chapters… for now. I don’t exactly know, it could get bigger. But I hope you like it! I really hope you like it.

A violent cough shook his chest, prompting another scream. “I don’t want him to die!” Stiles tried to answer that. He opened his mouth to speak, but something was choking him- it felt like drowning, and he coughed again, something warm and wet spilling from his lips, something with a metallic taste.
Usually, when everything was reduced to a mess of black, red and white shining spots, blood was being shed.
“Is he breathing? Please, fuck, tell me he’s still-”
Stiles had around fifteen seconds of ringing in his ears and floating sensation before the world started spinning again and with it came back the pain, flaring inside of him.
“-n you hear me? Stiles, can you hear me? He’s not ans-”
Someone was screaming, he realized, but it took hima while to understand it was him. How did it happen? How did he get hurt? The last thing he could remember was red eyes… and a hot white pain in his guts. Then a sound of breaking bones and here he was, harshly breathing.
“-n’t you dare sleep, Stiles, I swe- kill you if you tr-”
A violent cough shook his chest, prompting another scream. People were all over him, but he couldn’t recognize the voices, couldn’t recognize the silouhettes, couldn’t do anything but focus on the pain.
“-ott, let me do it. Let me Bite him, let me save him!”
“Derek, Stiles doesn’t want to be like us, he just-”
A strong roar seemed to vibrate through Stiles’ body. “I don’t want him to die!”
Stiles tried to answer that. He opened his mouth to speak, but something was choking him- it felt like drowning, and he coughed again, something warm and wet spilling from his lips, something with a metallic taste. He heard someone scream his name, but the words fainted again, hard to understand their meaning, hard to stay awake.
Before the world went black, he heard just one whisper, one he couldn’t understand.
“Use your spark, Derek. Your Alpha spark.”
Something has changed.
He started being able to feel the power inside of him after Doc told him about his spark. He started being able to feel the magic running along with his blood, to focus on it and find its core inside his chest, close to his heart.
Now, focusing on it, it feels different. It is different. His spark once shined bright white when he closed his eyes, but now… now he can see blue, green and under it all… red. His spark is enveloping the red, a warm magic embrace of sorts, like it’s protecting it. He doesn’t understand. Spark aren’t red; wolves are.
He focuses on the red light more, that’s when he feels it. He feels the wolf inside of him, protected by his magic, using its power, giving its own in return in an endless bond. When he feels it, the wolf feels him too; the red intensifies as the wolf tips its head back and howls.
Something has changed.
There’s a wolf inside of him. It’s an Alpha.
Waking up with the sun right in your fucking face when the last time you had your eyes open it was pitch black outside was a bitch, Stiles could attest to that.
“Someone please turn off the sun” he mumbled, still not daring to open his eyes, not even knowing if he was alone or not, except he knew there was someone there. He thought he heard a gasp as soon as he spoke, then the fucking sun went away and the place turned dark enough for him to lift his eyelids just that bit to look around.
Firstly he noticed was that it wasn’t a hospital room. In fact it was… it was his room, Stiles’ room. Secondly, he felt the dull but strong pain in every single cell of his body. Thirdly, apparently the sun didn’t go away, but simply someone was directly in front of the window, shielding him from its light.
“Thank God you’re alive, son.” Stiles knew that voice. “We were starting to think you weren’t gonna make it.”
“Hey, daddy-o” His dad looked ill, for the lack of a better word: pale skin, red, puffy eyes like he had been crying, lips stretched in a thin line of concern. “You know me, hard to get rid of. How long have I been out?”
Noah hesitated. “Two weeks. We were starting to lose hope.”
The relief Stiles had felt for being alive suddenly crashed under the fear of leaving his own father alone. Of leaving his friends alone. A strange, tugging feeling made itself present inside his chest when he thought about his pack, but the human decided to not pay it too much attention for the moment.
He fell silent, trying to gauge what to say next. “What happened?”
“They took you to Deaton,” Noah sighed. “Scott thought about taking you to the hospital, but everyone had their own wounds and no one could take there without setting off some kind of investigation. So they took you to the vet, called Melissa and patched up as good as possible.”
“Scott called you next?”
“No, it was Derek,” Stiles’ eyebrows climbed to his hairline. “He phoned me as soon as Doc judged you stable. He also helped me bringing you home.”
“Where is Derek now? Where’s the pack?” he tried to get up, but pain flared like fire from his guts, forcing him to lay back down even if the sheriff tried blocking him as well. “Please tell me no one died.”
“Calm down, son” Noah responded. “You’re the only one stupid enough to be in the way of an alpha werewolf without super healing powers.”
“I know, I know, fragile human skin and all of that. But Erica needed saving, and who better than her Batman could help?” he tried to turn it into sarcasm, but it came out a little too serious. His father looked exasperated and proud at once.
“And I wouldn’t have it any other way.” He stood up, moving away from the bed, the sun now free to stab Stiles’ eyes again. “I’m going to call the others, they’re going to be sick worried for you. Actually I’m surprised they’re not still here, especially Derek.”
Again, Stiles felt something tug in his chest, tugging towards the door. “What about him now?”
“He stayed here all the time, basically moved in the guest room.” Noah stopped in the middle of the room. “Is there anything I should know, Stiles?”
The boy felt a blush warming his cheeks. “Well, it was just a matter of time before the guy lost his damned mind, if that’s what you mean.” And in that right moment, they both noticed a figure in the doorway, leaning against the wall. The tug inside Stiles settled like it had never been there.
“Pot, kettle” said Derek, speaking low as if louder would have hurt the human. Surprisingly, Stiles didn’t answer, he just… stared. And stared. And stared.
He almost casually noticed the werewolf’s ears turning a bright pink before his dad cleared his voice. “Well, I’m… I’m going. To call Scott, yes, I’m going to call Scott and tell the others you’re okay” he basically fled, leaving the two guys alone, both deadly silent.
“You can…” Stiles coughed awkwardly. “You can sit, you know. I’m not going to bite.”
Derek nodded, but stayed where he was. “Much better here, I don’t want to risk getting infected by your masochist streak and get claws in my stomach.”
Stiles felt his face turn scorching hot. “For the record, I got it from you, so no risk possibly existing.”
The alpha wisely chose to not reply, instead coming to sit where the sheriff had been just a couple of minutes before. He observed him, attention and concern clear in his colourful eyes, not another word spoken for several long minutes. For all he kept quiet first, Stiles couldn’t really keep his mouth shut for that long.
“How close of a call had that been?” he whispered at last, not breaking eye contact not even for a second, waiting for the answer. Such thing never came, though, and after a while Derek looked away. Stiles almost believed he would not say anything else, but he was wrong.
“Closer then we would have liked” the words were almost whispered, as if Stiles shouldn’t have caught them. Suddenly, a flashback went off in his mind, like a vivid dream.
“-ott, let me do it. Let me Bite him, let me save him!”
“Use your spark, Derek. Your Alpha spark.”
“You wanted to bite me. You thought I wouldn’t make it.” Derek turned so fast Stiles almost worried about whiplash before realizing he spoke outloud and that was why a wide eyed werewolf was ready to flee from the room. He cleared his voice, trying to calm down his suddenly fast heart rate. “I heard you asking Scott, before blacking out. I think I did, at least.”
“You did. But no, you’re still… you.” the Alpha closed his eyes, as if it was hard for him to say it. “The Bite wasn’t that needed in the end.” Right. “You found another way,” he took in a breath. “I also heard someone telling you to use your spark. What does it mean, Derek? What spark?”
“I… The spark is…”
“HOLY SH-You’re alive! You actually made it!” Scott definitely saved Derek from answering, by simply throwing himself on the bed with Stiles, forgetting the fragile, pale human was hurt. Stiles’ answering pained groan wasn’t heard over Derek’s roar. Scott almost roared back, but got control back in time to just flash his red eyes to the Hale Alpha. “Right,” he grimaced. “Guts on the wood floor just two weeks ago. Sometimes I forget you suck at healing, man.”
Stiles stuck out his tongue in a very mature act. “You were even shittier when human, so shut up.” He relaxed back on the bed, watching his best friend get cozy sitting at his side. “So, whatcha doin’? Everyone fine?”
“Yep. We all healed, after all. Except for you, that is.” Scott frowned, suddenly serious. “You almost died, dude. Try and not scare us all like that, okay?”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. You know I can’t do that. How’s Erica?”
Derek spoke. “She’s fine. Feeling guilty, but fine. You should probably tell her something when they all come back from their patrolling duty.” He shrugged, not meeting anyone’s eyes for a change, but then he got up, moving towards the hall.
“What, where’re you-” Stiles tried sitting up again. “Derek, we were not done here!” Derek ignored him, like Stiles hadn’t seen that coming. “I’m going to call Deaton, you stay here.”
Stiles let himself fall down, ignoring his pain. “As if I can move.”
Scott tilted his head to the side. “But you can…t. No, you can’t, right, no chance” he bit his lips, like he had said something he shouldn’t have. “Waiting for Doc here.”
Stiles turned to his so-called best friend. “Why do I have the feeling you’re hiding something from me?” the werewolf had always been shit at lying – for most part – and then was no exception. “Like the “You can’t move” stuff.”
Scott sighed, giving up fairly easily. “Technically, you could move. Y’know, go aroung, sit up… Easy moving stuff.” Stiles just looked at him, his face a big loud sarcastic bitchface, trying to convey how much was he calling bullshit in that exact moment.
“What about “guts on the floor two weeks ago”?”
“That’s true, your guts were all over the ground, you were fucking dying!” Scott climbed off the bed. “But you’re healing, so it’s just a matter of how much it hurts.”
“Of course, I’m healing, that’s what a fuctioning human body does when it does not die! It heals, you moron!”
Scott huffed, annoyed. “Yes, but what I mean is that you’re healing faster than a human!”
Stiles froze, heart loud once again, color draining from his face. “What.”
“You’re healing faster. Like… like us.”
“Like us?”
“Like werewolves.”

Can I ask for a borusara lemon when they meet in a cave after long time
Title: Perfect
Genre: Romance
Rating: M
Sarada frowned and looked a the slip of paper again. It was no doubt Boruto who wrote the note, she could recognize his penmanship anywhere. The instructions were leading her to the thick of the forest, and with each step she took, she was losing her patience.
“I swear, when I find him… shannaro!” she muttered angrily to the forest. The little creatures didn’t deserve her wrath, really.
After a few more minutes of trudging through foliage, she finally reached a clearing. There, under a large Sakura tree, she found Boruto. He stood up from the blanket that he was sitting on, there was a picnic basket, plates of food, fruits, and drinks strewn about, and soft music was playing from the portable radio. It looked like a scene out of a movie. The pure epitome of romantic cheesiness.
He approached her with a wide grin on his face that put the sun to shame. “Happy anniversary, Sarada.”
She had completely forgotten her anger the minute before. Tears pricked her eyes. She wasn’t one for cheesy gestures, but she appreciated this more than anything.
“You’ve been so busy lately, I figured you probably forgot.” He laughed. Boruto held on to her hands. “I know I’ve been gone for a long time, but I didn’t forget you for a second.”
She couldn’t find the words. “Boruto…”
“Hey come on, don’t go crying on me, geez.” He pulled her towards the tree. “Let’s eat. I owe Himawari big time for this, ya know?”
Sarada laughed and settled on the blanket next to Boruto. She listened to him chat on and on about his mission. She was pretty sure he wasn’t allowed to, but she was happy that he told her anyway. He had been gone for six months. It was hard enough that he barely wrote to her, and now she understood why. She was only half way with eating the meal that his sister made, when Boruto interrupted her by pulling her wrist.
She looked at him, and saw that his usually clear blue eyes were glazed over–eyelids heavy. Sarada felt the heat rush to her cheeks. She knew that look. Whenever he looked at her that way, it only ever had one outcome. He pulled her closer towards him, and she followed. Sarada sat on his lap facing him and held on to either side of his face.
“I’ve missed you so much,” he whispered, voice deep and husky.
Sarada leaned down until their foreheads touched and she closed her eyes. “I missed you, too.”
His hands made their way up from her hips to her sides, and Sarada took that as her que to connect their lips. It started out slow, and sweet. Much like how their first kiss was, and it filled her with so much warmth and tenderness. They had been together for three years, now but kissing him always felt like it was her first time. She laced her fingers into his golden hair, and he deepened the kiss, pulling her closer towards him.
The heat, and need was building in her lower abdomen, as Boruto’s kisses grew quicker, and far more urgent. He needed her, and she could feel it down to her very core. He wrapped one arm around her waist, and the other held her neck as he laid switched their positions. Sarada gasped to find herself lying down on the grass, with Boruto on top of her. Clouded over with lust, Boruto drank in the sight of her.
“You’re so beautiful.” He dipped down to kiss her neck and Sarada released a breathy moan. Kami. She missed this. Her breath hitched when she felt his hand snake under her shirt.
“Boruto…” she moaned.
“Yes?” He nipped at her earlobe and continued to feel her body.
“Someone might see us,” she spoke in between breaths.
He smirked. “Let them watch. We put on a good show, after all.”
Sarada growled and pushed him off her, just so she could glare at him.
Boruto laughed and kissed her nose. “You really need to lighten up,” he teased.
She harrumphed and looked away. “I don’t want someone to see.”
“Possessive much?”
Sarada scowled and crossed her arms atop her chest. She felt water drop down on to her cheek and she looked up at the sky. It was gray and foreboding. Kami. How could she not notice? Oh right. Boruto was distracting her. Another drop patted down on her eye, making her blink. She hastily wiped it away. Boruto was now off of her, and helped her up.
“I think we should get going,” Sarada said.
“Y-yeah, let’s pack up,” Boruto agreed. “And then we go to my place?” He added with a bright, and hopeful grin.
She smirked. “We’ll see.”
They took one step, and the rain started pouring down. Sarada let out a shout, and she brought her arms up. Forget about the food, they needed to get out of this downpour. She was already running back towards the woods, and Boruto was right behind her. She activated her sharingan, and found a small cave. She guided them out of the dense forest, and released a sigh once she no longer felt the rain pelting on her skin.
She looked at herself, and then at her boyfriend. She was drenched, and so was Boruto. It looked like he was going to throw a fit. Before he could say anything, Sarada decided she should distract him.
“Tell Hima-chan the food was great.” She grinned. “I was looking forward to the cake. Too bad we didn’t get to save anything.”
Boruto blinked a few times and gave her a sheepish smile. “Well, not everything.”
She quirked her eyebrow up. Slowly, Boruto pulled out something round and yellow from his right pocket, and his left hand came to view, and revealed the portable radio. Now it was Sarada’s turn to blink.
“Of all things to save…” she started. “You saved the lemon?” She threw her head back and laughed.
Boruto’s face colored. “It-it was the only thing I could grab, ya know?” He defended himself. “It was the closest thing to the radio!”
Sarada settled her giggles and walked up to him. She turned the radio on, and the static acted up a bit, but then a soft song came to play. She placed a cool hand on his warm cheek and smiled tenderly. “Thank you so much for today, Boruto. I really loved it.”
He dropped the lemon on the ground so he could hold on to her hand. “Anything for you.”
She went on her tiptoes and planted a soft kiss on his lips. Despite the cold rain, they were still so warm.
When they pulled away, he grinned. “Ya know, it’s not too late to finish what we started.”
Sarada pursed her lips and lightly slapped his face. “Did you have to ruin it?!”
“Oww!” Boruto complained. “I’m just saying, ya know?!”

Is she beautiful? - A borusara storyChapter - 2
This is the second chapter of is she beautiful.
Chapter – 2
Candies, Questions and Choices
The clanging sounds of weapon against weapon echoed throughout the training fields. Heavy blows and ferocious swipes were exchanged. A loud gust of wind soon destroyed a tree to splinters.
Boruto jumped away to create some distance between him and his opponent. He raised a fist to wipe the dripping sweat off his brow. He was heaving heavily. His breath was shallow. His blue eyes were focused clearly on each and every move of his pastel blue haired teammate. He concentrated some chakra at the soles of his feet and launched himself towards his opponent with an impressive speed. His palm was open, ready to strike, poised in the famous Hyuga style of battle.
Mitsuki, however, was no ordinary genin. He slid himself out of his rival’s attack range and immediately stretched his arm out to coil around Boruto’s torso. His other arm held a kunai in hand, which he swiftly moved to place on Boruto’s neck but was startled when he found a cold sharpness against his own throat and a smirking Boruto.
Mitsuki smiled and relaxed his stance as he released Boruto from his serpentine grip. The blonde fell down on the ground on his back with a thud.
“I think that’s enough for today.”
“Yeah. I’m tired anyway.” Boruto croaked out in a hoarse whisper as he picked himself up from the ground lethargically.
A few minutes later, they found themselves moving down the street, in the direction of Boruto’s home. Mitsuki stole a quick glance at his teammate’s defeated posture and realised that Sarada’s decision of not talking to him was actually taking a toll on Boruto’s normally boisterous personality.
Mitsuki was more than aware of the reason behind Sarada’s judgement. It was not only about Boruto cheating. Rather, it was about him breaking the trust they shared. Mitsuki might be a bit socially stunted but even he couldn’t ignore that there was something shared by both of his teammates, something special which could be easily lost between their arguments, but would resurface if either one was in some sort of trouble.
“Say…Mitsuki.” His companion’s voice brought him out of his thoughts.
“What is it?” Mitsuki gave a sideways glance to Boruto, noting that his eyes were hidden behind his bangs.
“Who was that big guy…with Renga?”
“Oh? The one who’s very interested in Sarada? And almost attacked you?”
“Yeah…?”
“I think he is Renga-kun’s cousin. He is a year older than him and is a resident of Suna. He is here because Suna has provided aid to Konoha, you know, for the reconstruction of the village. Although, I’ve seen him stalking Sarada a few times.”
“What?!”
“He is a persistent one, I guess.”
Mitsuki almost laughed at the ticked off expression that appeared on Boruto’s face.
You are so naïve, Boruto.
Suddenly, he remembered something.
Boruto peered at Mitsuki with curious blue eyes as the latter fished something out from beneath his sleeves and was surprised when he was handed over a fist full of candies.
“What…?”
“Sarada’s reward for helping that kid earlier. She asked me to give them to you.”
Boruto’s eyes widened. It did not escape his notice that most of the candies were lemon and blueberry flavoured.
His and Hima’s favourite.
He carefully shoved all of the candies in his pockets, feeling that something heavy was lifted off his shoulders and that his heart felt lighter. She may not have forgiven him yet but now, he knew for sure that she will definitely going to accept his apology, hopefully sometime in near future.
Mitsuki noticed the slight smile on his teammate’s lips.
He smirked at how determination shone in Boruto’s eyes.
“I was surprised today.”
“Huh?” Boruto gave him a sideways glance as they walked down the street, both of his arms folded up behind his head in a nonchalant manner.
“When you declared yourself to be Sarada’s protector.”
Boruto froze for a second and a tint of rose soon covered his cheeks.
He sputtered, “W…what? What about it?”
“I read it somewhere that most of the times, when a boy declares himself to be a girl’s protector, he probably has a degree of romantic interest in that particular girl.”
Boruto’s left eye twitched and his whole face turned into a violent shade of red. “What is that supposed to mean?! Come on! There is no such thing! I don’t like Sarada! In that way! She is just my friend and teammate! And tell me, won’t you protect her if she ever gets in some sort of trouble?”
“Of course I will, Boruto.”
Boruto breathed out a sigh and moved forward until he heard his pastel blue haired friend saying something along the lines of “But I won’t exactly declare myself to be her self-proclaimed protector, unless I feel the threat of rivals, especially when I know that she can simply punch those guys into oblivion.”
“Mitsuki!!!”
A flock of birds flew away as the loud cry echoed through the streets.
……
Thud. Thud. Thud.
Sasuke could easily decipher the increasing intensity of the impact of Sarada’s practice kunais striking the wooden target hung on to the wall of her room even from a floor below. He raised a questioning brow at his wife who was working around in the kitchen with amazing swiftness.
She almost giggled at the sight of her husband’s inquisitive face. Now that finally everything was over and Sasuke was at last home for good, he was trying his best to learn more and more about his daughter. It made Sakura’s heart fill up to the brim with warmth and happiness.
“It must have been Boruto.” She said nonchalantly.
“Boruto?”
“Yes. Boruto is the only person whom she considers ‘annoying’ enough to be annoyed.”
Sasuke looked slightly startled as he whispered, “Annoying…?”
Sakura’s giggle made him realise that his train of thoughts were moving towards the right direction and he sighed heavily.
“What? Won’t you go on an overprotective daddy mode?”
“I think…I sort of noticed it earlier.” His mind flashed the memory of when Sarada had defended Boruto in front of him, asking him to take her teammate as his pupil, and also the happiness when he had told her that he had accepted Boruto as his student.
The boy too knew his daughter’s likes and dislikes quite well, and had utmost faith in Sarada’s knowledge and decisions. They shared a strong bond…and for some reason, Sasuke felt as though…he didn’t mind it?
Sakura shook her head fondly and asked him to fetch Sarada so that they could eat dinner together.
…..
The dinner was supposed to be an ordinary affair. But it was anything but that as it quickly got out of hand.
In the middle of it, Sarada dropped her chopsticks down from her fingers, her head titled downwards and her bangs cast a dark shadow over her large onyx eyes.
“Papa…can I ask you a question?”
Both the adults in the room immediately shared a quick alarmed glance with each other.
“Yes…?” Sasuke asked hesitatingly.
She immediately raised her face up to look at him, her eyes burning with accusation, “You knew, right? You knew that he was using Kote, correct?”
Sasuke raised his brows. “Yes, I knew.”
Her little face immediately morphed with anger. He had never seen his daughter this mad.
“How could you?! You’re his master! How could you let him use that! You knew, you knew he was cheating! You knew it was wrong! And you still let him! Why?!”
Sasuke carefully assessed at his raging daughter with a calm look, his eyes displaying nothing but softness.
“Sarada, it was not my place to discipline him, at least in this situation. Yes, I am his master but he has a father too. The only time he needed me to guide him down the right path was in his father’s absence. For a child, their first teachers are always their parents. In this particular situation, Boruto needed to hear about what is ‘right’ and what is ‘wrong’ from his own father. Consider this as a teacher stepping down to let a father get his hold over his child back. A way to let them bond and come back to each other as a family?”
And how could I, knowing that at his age, I took an even darker path?
Sarada looked at her father dumbfounded, a part of her acknowledging the truth behind her Papa’s words. She knows that mistakes sometimes allow a family to come closer. After everything that she herself had gone through, she did not have the courage to deny the older Uchiha.
Her eyes were downcast. Her mind was a whirlwind of a thousand thoughts.
“Well, Sarada, I have a question for you as well.” Sasuke said in a stern tone which did not hide the gentleness he has for his only child.
She looked at him, startled. As her eyes gazed him in contemplation, Sasuke took it as his cue to continue.
“Why are you so angry about it, Sarada? Is it just because you felt betrayed when your teammate, your friend, broke your trust by cheating and hiding it from you… or…is it…that you’re more worried about how adversely his actions have affected your record?”
Sarada almost flinched back at the cruelty of the question. Even Sakura looked at him with stunned fury.
But Sasuke did not deter his gaze from Sarada and nor did he back down from the perilous situation that he had created under Sakura’s glare. Although, he did his best to ignore the discomfort in the pit of his stomach knowing that his question had actually hurt his child. His heart was pierced with the arrows of guilt and self-loathing as he watched tears roll down her cheeks as she got up and left the room immediately, followed by Sakura who gave him a dirty look before leaving to console their daughter.
Sasuke simply sat there, alone.
I’m sorry, Sarada. But you need to understand. You need to understand the source of that anger. It was not right of me. But this was the only way.
I’m sorry. Truly. I am.
