(it's hilarious cause my main isn't even Meg. My main is Mikaela.....Might convert though I've had some good matches against Ghostie as Meg, but it was all during Lights Out! Mode, so he just kept sneaking up on me.)

The army of GhostMeg is small but mighty...if I keep spamming art of them, I will eventually wear down the fandom and force them to ship what I do through exposure therapy...it's all coming together...

I was just hiking in a forest - not because I wanted to, but because my friend wanted to and brought me with them - when a thick black fog enveloped my vision. After the fog dissipated, I was sitting at a campfire in a forest which might've been the same one I was in before. There were others here and tents around us. One of the people, whom I spoke to first, wore her hair in a ponytail, had blue rimmed glasses, wore a pink button up, some jeans, and some boots. I had asked her what was going on and she filled me in on us being in the realm of this... thing... called the Entity who makes people undergo trials where they have to repair 5 generators to escape the trials while being hunted by a killer.

She even guided me through my first trial. It was against a killer she and the other 2 survivors called the Hillbilly. It was fine for a bit. Hillbilly was chasing someone, hooked them, camped, the other person came to their rescue and got hooked and was camped... Those 2 were just on off the hook while Claudette and I finished the generators and saved them, with all of us managing to escape. Claudette said that was lucky because the map was Gideon Meat Packing Plant.

However, Claudette would not be there my second trial. The 2 survivors from my last trial were here though. An old man with a cigarette and Christmas sweater, whom Claudette said was named Bill, and a woman with dirty blonde braided hair, Claudette said her name is Meg. There was another survivor whom I had not met yet as well. He wore glasses, a button up with a tie, and some slacks. We were on a street at some kind of school.

I was on a generator with the person who I didn't know yet when Meg came over. She stopped and after regaining her breath spoke, "Dwight. Y/N. It's Trapper."

"Trapper again? Why do I always get matched with Trapper?" The other person on my generator, who I assume was Dwight, considering Meg called him Dwight turned to me, "Y/N- that's your name right," I nodded, "Look out for any bear traps. The Trapper loves to place them at vault locations and in sneaky areas where you wouldn't see them. He also places them in doorways. Be careful."

"Thank you." That's when we heard Bill scream, notifying us he had been hooked. When we finally finished this generator with Meg, we split up. Meg and Dwight went to go save Bill. I went into a house and was going towards the stairs down in the basement to see if there was a generator there. SNAP. I was stuck in a bear trap. I too screamed, and pulled myself out of the bear trap, finally succeeding the second try.

I ran by the exit gate and hid in some grass. I heard a loud noise coming from the area where Bill was hooked, telling me Bill was just unhooked. I slowly made my way back into the house, using a different stairway into the basement. Bill screamed again, meaning he was back on the hook, then a booming noise as fog covered my vision for just a second. I ended up finding a generator and started repairing it.

That's when my heartbeat got faster. The Trapper was approaching. I quickly hid in a locker, hoping he wouldn't find me. He passed my locker and when I thought he was turning the corner, I exited... only for him to be close behind me. I ran up the stairs... directly into the same bear trap as before. He had clearly reset it because with another SNAP, I was once more stuck. That's when the large cleaver in his hand came down on me. I fell, but got an opportunity to look at him better. He was tall, well over six feet.

He wore a damaged white mask with fake teeth on it... or were those someone's real teeth? The thought scared me, but it wouldn't be that surprising if this is someone who kills people. He wore overalls that seemed to be made of rubber, one side held up by metal as the strap seemed to have fallen into disrepair. There were also pieces of metal sticking out of his arms and he was covered in deep scars- the scariest part of his look. His skin looked like it was in many pieces and glued to him to not fall off. Instead of picking me up to take me to a hook... he just walked off. Leaving me there, laying on the floor, to bleed out. Ignoring my wounds, I started crawling away from there, hoping I could get to a safe place where someone could find me and help me up. Somewhere he wouldn't find me.

I had only gotten to a doorway of the house when Meg and Dwight came over and tried to help me up. Trapper, however, had different plans and came right over. Meg and Dwight both ran, but Trapper chose to chase Dwight. Once again, I was left alone to bleed out. I continued crawling, towards the exit gate and behind a picnic table. That's when I heard Dwight scream and shortly after, Meg also screamed. The Trapper came back. I was the only one left to be put on a hook. But he didn't... He stared down at me for some time. The loud booming sound came once more. Then he just turned around and started walking away. I crawled towards him.

"Wait... please don't leave me like this." The same loud sound was heard again. It dawned on me that they were all dead. The Trapper turned back to me. He picked me up and started carrying me into the building I was in before and down to the basement. He dropped me and went back up, putting a bear trap on the one exit that didn't have one. He then picked me up again. Dropping me again, he destroyed the generator I was halfway done repairing before. This time, when he picked me up, I wiggled free, running up the stairs. I just barely dodged the bear trap when I heard him get stuck in it just behind me.

Not wanting to stick around, I make a run for it and hide behind the killer shack. My heart dropped when I hear the hatch closed on the other side. Claudette told me if I was the last one left and the generators weren't done, there would be a hatch that I could jump through. But my hopes of that were dashed. However, I still heard the howl of the exit gates being powered and all the generators erupted to life. I sneak along the edges of the area towards the exit gate, hiding in some grass by it when I hear my heartbeat. As soon as it stops, I open the gate and start running through. I decided to turn around there to see if he was there. Big mistake. I fell again and he picked me up, putting me on a hook. I screamed. It was more painful than I had ever imagined. However... when he was putting me on the hook, it seemed like there was some hesitation.

"There you are Y/N. I heard you were the last one alive in your trial. How'd it go?" It was Claudette. We were both sitting in a tent near the campfire.

"Well I did die... but something wasn't right."

"Oh? What happened?"

"About the Trapper... is it normal for him to leave a survivor to bleed out for a long time after all the other survivors were killed even though he knows their exact location? And... almost let them leave?"

"Well... Some killers do that to down the rest of the team before hooking anyone. However, I rarely hear of them leaving someone like that after the rest of their team is dead."

"Any idea why?"

"This is the first time Trapper has done this, but some of the killers develop an obsession over a certain survivor. However, that's the first time you've gone against Trapper and it was only your second trial, so I don't understand why he developed an obsession so quickly."

Yet sure enough, he would do this to me in my next game too. This time, my team managed to help me up so I was able to do most of the gens without getting caught... but once again I found myself the last one alive. I ran to the gate, no way I'd find hatch quickly enough. Before I could open it, Trapper appeared. Instead of injuring me, he opens the gate.

"Go." And I listened.

I am sent back... but not to the survivor camp. To the Macmillan Estate. The Trapper was there waiting for you.

He sounded like this was the first time he had spoken in years, "Hello! You are the new survivor, right? I wanted to introduce myself to you," He paused, "I am Evan Macmillan... Do you perhaps want to be friends?" What- he had just left you to bleed out for half a trial and he's asking to be friends?

Yet you find yourself nodding, "sure," in response. He took off the mask, showing that he was smiling.

"Great, and what is your name?"

"Y/N L/N. Pleasure to meet you."

Headcanons based on My DBD Ships:

Trigger warning: mentions of self harm.

HuntBird (Huntress x Kate Denson)

Kate is always making little tunes for Anna. Anna likes it when her bird sings for her. 

Anna likes it Kate cooks; Kate… doesn’t always like when Anna cooks because it makes her a little sick. She gently explained this to Anna. 

Clown is never allowed near Kate unless he wants a hatchet thrown at him. (That’s Anna’s woman dammit.)

Anna is very possessive of Kate. Territorial almost. 

Plays The song her mother saying to her as a child when Anna is having trouble sleeping/is having a bad day. If Kate is having a bad day, Anna brings her gifts.

Aceslinger (Ace x Caleb Quinn/Deathslinger)

Ace and Caleb are the old men of the group, One’s joyful, one’s cranky, and Caleb hates it when that’s pointed out to him. 

Both have collectively adopted Nea. She’s their kid now. 

Ace claims to be the big spoon, but he knows damn well he’s a small spoon.

Caleb makes a mean steak. Ace make some mean Milanesa a Caballo. (An Argentina recipe involving fried beef/chicken with fried eggs on top often served with fries on the side) (Hope I described it correctly, )

Both to poker together, but Ace knows better than to cheat when Caleb’s winning. He doesn’t want to die. 

Ace did try to cut himself, because he felt like he was worthless and Nea and Caleb would be better off without him. Caleb did not leave his side for the next few weeks after saving him, and knocking some sense into Ace. 

Despite Ace’s charm, the Frisky Tango does not happen often. When it does, Caleb calls the shots. Not that Ace complains.

If Ace has a bad day, he’s allowed to have a drink. If Caleb has had a bad day, he gets extra cuddles and kisses. There’s a system and the men follow it well. 

HillFlower (Hillbilly x Claudette)

(I’m calling it HillFlower because honestly that’s a cute name and I think it’s very fitting.) 

Claudette often makes pies for everyone, however she noticed Max only stole her apple pies so she made a second pie and pointed out which one was for him, and which one was for the others. This has not stopped him from stealing her pies, but he appreciates the attempts.

Claudette Does regular optional therapy with Max.

Never raises her voice at him. She’s gentle when she speaks to him. 

She stopped Max from hitting himself with a brick several times. 

He often hurts anyone else who enters the barn without Claudette. If they’re with Claudette, they’re safe… for now. 

Claudette Stims a lot, and Hillbilly is fascinated by it. 

If Hillbilly has a bad day, he just hangs around Claudette a bit and he feels better. If Claudette has a bad day, he makes her food. 

???(Haddie x Tarhos Kovacs/The Knight)

(I… genuinely… don’t know what to call this ship to be honest)

Haddie is allowed to do whatever she wants, but if she gets hurt on the job, Tarhos lectures The Dredge and tells them to be nicer to her.

Haddie is allowed to speak to Vittorio, but only while the knight/his crew are present. It is not that he doesn’t trust Haddie, it is that he doesn’t trust the noble. 

The crew often make sure Haddie is healthy. They know if she’s sick, Tarhos will lose his shit slowly while he takes care of her.

Haddie is his personal barber.

The dredge is the only reason they don’t do anything risky. The Dredge is also the reason Tarhos checks the closet before Haddie sleeps.

Crowffiti (Artist x Nea Karlsson)

(This ship name is perfect.)

Artist often sketches Nea when she’s sitting and thinking.

Nea has started calling her wifey, originally to piss her off, only to find out that Artist loves being called wifey.

The crows are their babies.

Doesn’t do the frisky tango, because Artist is worried about poisoning Nea through the ink. 

Nea has tried to kill herself a few times, Artist won’t let her. The first time it happened, Artist had to physically draw a small comic to explain what happened. Ace and Caleb were upset and worried about their kid.

The artist paint things, and Nea makes it brighter, while being careful around Carmina’s work. 

The two are constantly drawing each other.

When Nea has a bad day, Artist draws whatever she wants. When Artist has a bad day, Nea plays with her hair and compliments her wife.
