I think one aspect to measure a ship's rarepairness is it's popularity when compared to crackships. If it's more popular than generic crackship 254 then it's probably not a rareepair but if more people will know the crackship than the alternative serious and maybe even well thought out ship between two characters then it is probably most probably a rareepair

i wasnt rly talking about differences between rarepair and crackship but more "what makes a ship popular" in general

imo the difference between crackship and rarepair is the amount of canon content 🤔 crackships don't need a base at all but rarepairs usually have one. if it's "these two characters who haven't talked much would be interesting together" then it's a crackship (what makes a ship rare is a bit harder to measure and each case it's exclusive because you have to take a lot of factors into account). But. i don't think they're mutually exclusive things it's more like. all (or almost all) crackships are rarepairs but not all rarepairs are crackships. for example i'd say rinne/shu is somewhat a crackship? it doesn't have much canon content afaik. meanwhile mitsu/haji, who are both in the same unit and have had several 5*+4* events together, are more of a rarepair: neither are each other's most popular ship, or even second most-popular. but also rinne/shu have 80 fics on ao3 (which is more than some def not rare ships) and mitsu/haji have 11. of course character popularity plays a huge part here (big part of why i said its hard to measure how rare a ship is) (did u guys know kaname has more fics than mitsuru) but my point is.

you could place mitsu//haji in rare, rinne//shu in crack and (spins roulette) haji//shu in both and it all quite checks out

History

Aiko was an abandoned child since birth. She lived in the streets, and yk was homeless and shit. Aiko's health was bad, and she gets nosebleeds often. Aiko felt empty like there was something missing in her life. One day, when she was around the age of 6, she was founded by an orphanage who took her in. The orphanage staff taught her speech, writing, reading, and other things a child should know. Aiko's health was also getting better. One day, while she was playing piano in the orphanage, she encountered a new kid. The new kid's name was Isabella. Isabella and Aiko soon became very close friends, and Aiko soon gained feelings for Isabella. Isabella was the one who filled the void in Aiko's heart. However, when Aiko was 10, Aiko got adopted and not Isabella. Aiko was devastated when she heard that she won't be with Isabella anymore. Aiko tried everything she could to make Isabella stay with her. But nothing worked, and they got separated.

Aiko's parents were not the best. Aiko's parents were strict, distant, and ignorant to Aiko's feelings. They always had high expectations with Aiko, which REALLY pressured her to the point that she changed herself around her parents and to her elders just to please them. When she enrolled in Ryoutei Academy, her parents went overseas for work matters.

Satu kata untuk webinar AOH bersama mas Gun semalam, AMAZING!

Ini kali pertama aku join di @careerclass.id dan merasakan positive vibes semangatnya tuh nular. Boleh jadi karena environmentku yang selama ini cuma berjibaku di rumah bersama ketiga bocahku jadinya pas nemu kelas ini berasa muda lagi.

Flash back ke jaman kuliah dulu yang bisa mobile kemana-mana, ikut event sana-sini, diskusi dan tukar pikiran ma banyak orang. Dan di CC rasanya aku menemukan itu kembali...

Bersyukur banget bisa bergabung semalam dikelilingi orang-orang yang punya semangat untuk berbenah, bisa nambal ilmu lagi, diberikan kesempatan buat recharge diri lagi.

Benar-benar nggak nyangka materinya seluar biasa itu. Serasa benar-benar deep talk ma diri sendiri. Apalagi pematerinya, jujurly selalu suka sama tulisan mas gun di tumblr. Ngikutin beliau dari tahun 2015 di tumblr sampai punya anak 2 dan malam tadi bisa kenal lebih dekat perjalanan hidupnya terutama value of lifenya dalam urusan karir.

Kalau orang sekelas mas Gun aja ternyata pernah merasa kecil, pernah merasa bukan siapa-siapa. Tapi bisa melewati masa insecurenya. Cara mas Gun bawain materi tuh santai banget tapi isinya amat bergizi untuk asupan otak Emak tiga bocah yang selalu overthingking ini.

Tapi nggak ada yang kalah heboh sih, participantsnya itu yang hampir menyentuh angka 500-an. Wow. Sekeren ini yak @careerclass.id. Sempat membatin. Duh, kemana aja selama ini? Kenapa nggak dari dulu gabung CC.

Materinya dari awal insightfull semua.

Seperti merasa stuck sama kehidupan sama karir karena diri kita yang nggak kita pacu buat bergerak. Kata-kata seperti aku nggak bisa apa-apa. Padahal kalau ada hal yang aku nggak bisa, itu kan bisa dipelajari. Padahal kita belum nemu aja sama strengh diri kita. Dan orang lain seperti teman, mereka lebih bisa melihat kemampuan dan keunggulan diri kita ketimbang diri kita sendiri.

Jadi ini sebenarnya seperti perjalanan menemukan kembali diri kita. Kita disuruh mengenali diri kita lebih jauh. Assesment sama diri sendiri. Kita tuh dulu aktivitas produktif yang kita sukai dan rela menghabiskan waktu itu untuk apa? Benar-benar materinya huhuhu cem mana ya. Kalau sudah berbicara sama diri sendiri rasanya mau mewek. Hiiks.

Tapi ketimbang tetap memilih memelihara insecure. Jatohnya nggak enak. Nggak cuma pusing tapi kita juga membuat banyak kesalahan. Seperti kehilangan kesempatan, kehilangan relasi, dan harganya tuh mahal banget. Jadi untuk apa insecure terus?

Daripada sibuk dengan hal-hal yang membuat kita nggak yakin sama diri sendiri, menarik diri dari lingkungan dan merasa rendah, kenapa kita tidak fokus dengan kejadian yang membuat kita percaya diri, diterima dan merasa berharga.

Kalau sudah nemu sisa nyari amunisi buat meraihnya. Tentunya selalu ada harga yang harus dibayar. Boleh jadi kita harus strugle dan nambah effort dua kali lipat lebih dari biasanya. Kita harus ngorbanin sesuatu. Memang nggak mudah tapi bukan berarti nggak mungkin.

Aku setuju sama mantra mas Gun. Yap, lakukan apa saja apapun resikonya. Mencoba hal baru. Nggak nyaman sama satu pekerjaan, nggak bahagia sama pilihan sekarang bisa explore yang lain selama dua hal ini ada. Kebahagiaan dunia dan akhirat.

Dari semua diskusi itu ada satu hal yang paling berkesan buatku.

Kalau ada orang lain yang bisa, berarti kita juga bisa sebab ada yang sudah sampai. Sisa kita menemukan jalannya saja. Dan pilihlah yang menyenangkan, pilihlah yang membuatmu bahagia walaupun harus capek banget yang luar biasa sebab itu akan kamu jalaninya seumur hidup.

Semoga disisa waktu ini kita masih punya kesempatan untuk memperbaiki. Memilih yang benar-benar nyaman untuk kita jalani. Sesuatu yang membuat kita bahagia.
