Athleticism of any variety was Nadine's kryptonite. She fared much better whenever she was inert, if she were completely honest. It left space for her mind to wander, stretching and curving like limbs on a football pitch; except she was searching for words, not some scuffed up pigskin ball. Digressing — she had tucked herself in the softest corner of her couch and contemplated on a movie to watch before she found one wherein a couple braves a skating rink while on a date. And, well, now that was half the holiday surprise Nadine was preparing to spring unto Ava, along with, of course, plenty of presents that actually reflected her interests and their relationship. However, she was apprehensive about showing up knowing absolutely nothing about the activity, and once realizing she would secure a helluva lot more brownie points if she were able to catch Ava whenever she slipped? It wasn't even a question anymore. Once arriving, she walked through the double doors and approached the first employee she could spot. "Scuse me," she spoke up, a friendly smile on her lips. "I heard you guys have coaches here? How much do they charge? I need to learn how to stay off my ass before the month ends. Nadine, by the way," the brunette stuck a hand out in greeting, not thinking to register in her excitement if they'd met before or not.

Like Ruby herself, Velvet too took a keen interest in weapons - and Crescent Rose was perhaps one of the coolest designs she had seen so far. She was certainly looking forward to snapping a couple photos for future use...

Jaq   and   Gus   Gus   were   right...   this   Cinderelly   was   very   beautiful   and   from   her   perspective   it   seemed   her   heart   was   just   as   so.   Animals   didn't   sing   the   praises   of   just   anyone!   Fawn   would   know,   so   she   had   to   be   someone   quite   special.

Brown   gaze   lingered   on   the   blonde   curiously,   her   mouse   friends   had   wanted   to   introduce   the   two   of   them,   yet   the   fairy   couldn't   help   feeling   a   tad....   shy.

Robin   didn't   like   the   look   of   this   man.   It   wasn't   because   of   his   scar   riddled   face,   something   just   felt..   unnervingly   off   about   him.   Their   eyes   met   and   a   shiver   immediately   ran   down   her   spine.

Once she stood, she dusted off her dress a little bit before giving the other healer a slight bow and a small smile, showing her gratitude.

"Tell me, are you hurt? From the corner of my eye, I've witnessed you also being pushed away by the monster's blow — though you so courageously got back up right after to keep fighting. It's a strength to be admired, though I know too well it comes at a price — so, please, do not hesitate to ask me for aid, I will gladly provide it in the capacity that I am able to. Dean glanced at the blood on the floor then to the blood that coated the sink and faucet; watered down across the countertops. Finally his eyes landed on Jane’s hands, just watching her scrub incessantly at the red stain. He wasn’t exactly a stranger to the game; he recognized the desperation in needing to cleanse oneself from killing someone he thought could be saved. But it was different to be the one witnessing the act.

“You’ve gotta slow down; just try to breathe alright?” He said softly, cautiously approaching her side. “The harder you scrub the harder it is to get it off, trust me on this one.” He reached out to still her hands and with the other he turns the faucet towards warm. “What happened back there Jane? We could’ve saved them, I had it under control.”

so how is alastair’s hatred of brimhats going to backfire on him?

I AM SO GLAD YOU ASKED ( warning it's gay ♡ also it's kinda long )

SO alastairs hatred for brimhats began when he was a kid when the village he grew up in was attacked by brimhats . the village was made up with many witches, his mother included.

when the brimhats attack, his mother was a part of the collateral damage. she did not die, but instead lost her entire memory to the point where she didn't recognize alastair as her child no matter how much he insisted.

years later, alastair becomes a witch . And is then attacked by the same brimhat that attacked his village. he tries to fight back, but there's an obvious power difference. however, he is rescued by another witch named wolfgang! wolfgang is a professor at a nearby atelier and as thanks, alastair offers fo act as a watchful eye for wolfgangs atelier.

wolfgang and alastair become very close ( some would even speculate that they have feelings for each other! ) . all is well between the two until alastair gets too caught up in his studies and finds information that he should not be reading. he ends up finding out that wolfgang is a brimhat acting as a pointed hat and alastair is torn.

torn between the line of what is right and what he believes. torn between his heart and his head. because yes its true, he did develop some unnecessary feelings towards the professor. yes wolfgang did save his life and he owes it to him. but reporting wolfgang would be the right thing to do. but would also put himself at risk along with the apprentices at the atelier.

he hates brimhats, he really does, but there's something different about wolfgang
