#3dmv #project sekai #i know there's a “no reposting the another cuts” rule but 1. staff doesn't check tumblr and 2. the only reason for it is to try and keep it #“exclusive” so people are more likely to spend money to complete the set #which is bullshit and staff is getting really annoying with how obvious they want money #it's not like they need it they're the highest earning game in the genre by a mile with only 1 competitor #literally 3 or 4 games have shut down in the last year or two which i think is largely due to failing to keep up income and playerbase #in comparison. it's like the console war for idol games #anyway sorry for long winded complaint about management. i don't like how they're actively making the game less accessible to F2P players

As a side note I do think there’s an issue (and this was the case for the final year or two in the phf too but is a bit more pronounced now) that half of each teams roster can play and train full time and half of them cannot and has other jobs that aren’t always hockey related (though a lot do try to do coaching and stuff but still)

#plus it’ll lead to competitive disadvantages for teams like New York who like #have the highest cost of living and don’t have a lot of players from there who have families they can live with #it does not help that a lot of the promotion and discourse around this league was everyone can play full time #which like. you get full time hours but a lot are still doing other jobs

#the number of times I’ve said he’s just like me fr #esp in rebirth there have been multiple moments i just pointed at the screen and said autism #the beginning when tifa is talking about how she saw someone they used to know with a woman who looks like a model or something #then notices cloud and says ‘but you’re not interested in this are you’ and he just bluntly replies ‘not really’ and then after a second of #silence adds ‘uh but I’ll listen. go on’ i screamed #then later when aerith asks him what kind of swimsuit he’d like to see #probably i think flirting #and he launches into a spiel about how he prefers function over form and it needs to be practical and he has a lot of specific opinions abt #this and aerith is just standing there like🧍‍♀️#when you first get to the gold saucer and barret notices cloud is not vibing w this big bright loud amusement park and offers that they #go find the hotel and rest #when aerith is giving her speech about being an ancient i chose ‘smile’ as a way to quietly encourage her #and cloud could not do it on command. it was so bad #the fact that you can get really into queen’s blood and have cloud collect all the cards and become the highest ranked player in the world #(which is what i have been doing)#even though this literally has nothing to do w the quest he’s on #the way he just in general does not seem to like being touched or touching others often #autism. autism autism autism autism #final fantasy

i hate talking about the cap bc honestly the nhl is one of the few if not only leagues where you gotta count pennies and do cap gymnastics to ice a team meanwhile some players in other sports leagues are making connor mcdavid money to be on the BENCH

oh my god why are high-quality video files so massive it literally took me two entire days to download the wide-angle of my KITH rivoli interview and i only needed it to check the framing of this one three-second quote

#''why couldn't you just watch those 3 seconds on google drive rather than downloading it?'' bc it would basically break my computer lmao #(it's a specific huge file type that needs a specific video player that you can only play downloaded files in)#ik every film person i've talked to has said blackmagic cameras are the absolute best but frankly i do not see the appeal lmao #(that's the camera type that creates blackmagic files that can only be viewed on the blackmagic player)#that being said. i'll admit i am ignorant of a lot of the technical side of filmmaking stuff #so i am eternally grateful to my cinematographer/camera people who let me use their high quality equipment for a fairly low cost #and i'm sure when it gets down to it i'll be happy we have these interviews in the highest possible quality #but also. every time i have to download a file it makes me more convinced that my next project will be 100% cell phone footage

i just. hit s+ rank in splatoon and i never honestly thought this would happen?? am i cool now.. do i get to be a part of the s4? do i get to be watered down to my running joke all the time?

#the last part is a joke but i do not see a whole lot of recognition of the s4 being. the s4 #like yeah they were cool formidable foes in the s1 era and skull even beat goggles despite his plot armor #but now theyre just #there??#dont get me wrong i love their existence but #it feels like theyve been watered down at least a bit #skull is always just getting lost and army is almost always either the manual guy or the curry guy #thats. thats it thats their bits #skull also has the sweets thing #rider is sometimes a considerable foe too but at the same time the s4 doesnt usually consist of him so im not sure how much to count him #that being said it is a kids manga so i dont really expect it to lean too far into the formidable foes thing #even the xblood werent that scary in the long run and ended up goofy despite being who they were #i also get it in terms of fandom #i understand the appeal of something like aloha being cutesy dumb pink guy (who maaaaaaybe commited some crimes and it shows)#i also definitely understand the appeal of army having a thing for curry as well as the manuals #the manuals can be an endearing thing to write about trust me #but i also wouldnt mind seeing more things that center around the likes of the s4 and the xblood and even the best8 being the absolute best #of the best during their prime #reminder that s+ was the highest rank around when the s4 were introduced. same with the xblood #they were the strongest players and id like to see things that center around that #id like to imagine that moving on to the square and splatsville that the s4 would have had a chance to move uo and get into xbattles #i think of all of them skull and army would have the highest chances of actually making it to xrank and being successful #but honestly if mask and aloha could probably make it pretty well too if they got off their asses #and i think rider would excel as well being rider #he has his own kind of near plot armour i think #so do most of the big teams in my opinion #theyre the sort of doomed by the plot that forces them to battle goggles at some point lmao #maybe i could use this in a fic or au one day #maybe someone already has...#(please send to me if you know of any creators who have played around with these vague ideas of strength i wanna see em)
