The reason why social media has gotten so much worse recently (reddits recent fuck-up, everything on Twitter since Musk, FB being FB, Tumblrs various attempts at expanding profitability recently) is because it is no longer possible to exist as a company by fencing in large parts of our social life and having investment money pump in on the basis of expected future value of that amount of information when it suddenly costs money to loan money due to suddenly high interest rates after the inflationary crisis of the last year, which has made the current model of the Internet that has existed for the last about 10 years completely unsustainable. All of them need to become profitable or die, and they are learning very quickly that that just isn't possible no matter how much of the life and information of the users one steals. We are witnessing the death-throes of Web2.0, and what comes after is as yet unclear.
#edit: A subscription model has been suggested in the notes which I don't think is sustainable at least not for the Big Three#I mean Tumblr is by far the social media with the highest user goodwill and investment but even here#doing it in an unobtrusive way wasn't significantly helpful#I actually think one of the only ways for this model to continue would be some form of nationalisation#but I doubt that it would happen at the moment barring a serious shift in politics in like the US

#art#ive literally just been treating this game as a library simuator#i walk from bookseller to bookseller opening up all of their books#vivecs sermons are either a highlight or the point at which i stop reading#ive been trying to convince the ordinators that imitation is the highest form of flattery but it hasnt been working#let me wear your helmets please theyre so funny..#posting morrowind in 2024 isnt a cry for help but youre not wrong to be concerned.#morrowind#almalexia#vivec#im going to explain the chitin armor give me a moment#so the bonewalker nerevar on the shrines is adorable and it was only after drawing it however many times that i realized#it looked relatively close to a modified chitin armor#and so i modified chitin armor a few times and this was probably the cutest result#i also know i drew almalexia relatively pristine and untouched by years and vivec not so much but my thought process was#vivecs role as if not a favorite then the most accessible divine or the most “hands on” in a manner of speaking#acting in ways visible to the general population or actions explicitly brought to their attention#like not that almalexia isnt doing anything she is#but the dissemination of information regarding that is very different etc etc etc#anyways to a certain extent a god is the face on a shrine or in art or upon a statue or carving#but vivecs presence is interwoven with the geography of vvardenfell especially and his actions and writings with pubished materials#and the arts and culture and customs etc etc etc#so to me the face of a god you know and feel a commonality with or a god that walks alongside you is a face you would recognize#and vivec is already otherworldly looking enough#the simple mark of the years on his skin in some way grounding him in reality felt more right#that and i think the ways in which he and almalexia care about outward appearance are slightly different- they prioritize different things#and the ways they present outward power and their embodiment of their respective attributes share some similarities as they both have that#important preoccupation with physical power and physical strength to a certain degree#oh my god nobody read this i am yapping so bad.#tes

I don't know if this is a "hot take" and by no means am I trying to be rude, but It's funny since, considering the designs I've seen, most to every radioapple fan child looks like they could be a radiobelle fan child and vice-versa.
Makes sense as Charlie is Lucifer’s daughter and takes... EVERYTHING after him. But you see, it's all in the nose. But no one wants to be giving noseless children, so Radiobelle is the only one of the two that's able to have a differentiation from Radioapple kids with the puppy nose lol

#GAHRG im so normal about this one#the theme was “i am great” and we had to basically boost our ego while in the style of an artistic avant garde#i chose art nouveau for this piece :]#i make art because it connects me to humanity past present and future#making art is in humanity's instict. i am a result of all that people knowledge practices and moments#and that i represent with the “cosmic” theme. its the universe#the universe loves me and i love the universe#theres a lot of symbolism as well. narcissus flowers are the most obvious#the laurel wreath and the peacock feathers represent pride and glory#theres a total of 9 white stars in the piece a number considered the “perfect” number for being the highest digit#and some ivy at the top to bring it all together “connection”#this piece ended up being very important to me. i printed it out and have it framed in my room lol#yeag#my art#illustration#digital art#artists on tumblr

are werewolf mythosi affected by the full moon at all?
Yup! It doesn't necessarily cause them to become mindlessly violent, but it does cause werewolves to get super antsy and riled up, and super emotional as well! A lot of the time that can cause them to "act out," however, which might make them accidentally hurt those around them (ex. forgetting how strong they are, being less aware of their surroundings, etc.).
Werewolves aren't forced to turn during a full moon so much as the compulsion to is so strong that there isn't much point in not shifting. But, if for one reason or another a werewolf really didn't want to deal with the whole moon thing, there are potions they could take to subvert the effects!
