jesus christ literally not even half an hour ago I took two sleeping gummies cuz I didn't think they'd be that strong, but instead it just gave me an inconsolable weed hard-on and now I'm constructing a whole universe to justify a sexual fantasy involving pregnancy basically being something you can like catch from someone else. like, hear me out, imagine you sleep with someone who's pregnant, maybe they're early on enough that it doesn't show so you don't know, and regardless of your own sex, you also become pregnant. Highdea: evolutionarily-accurate Spore

I'm no gamer, but I was under the impression that Spore followed the laws of evolution on Earth as we know it instead of being as sandboxy as it is. We were watching a playthrough and the guy put a single arm on his creature and I about lost my mind. The Rule, as indicated extensively by the fossil record, is that chordates exclusively have paired limbs that are capped at four.

What if we had just the first two stages of Spore, and you can sandbox but only within the set evolutionary rules - and you get points when you make an animal that actually exists or existed? That's how you level up.

Worst? case scenario: this turns into a race to create Homo sapiens, and I guess you win once you do?

Best case scenario: you can sorta predict how, say, frogs are going to evolve next by having a record of their successful changes and a way to trial-and-error what they might try next. Although I'd be really surprised if that doesn't already exist to some degree in the zoology space

Either way I think I'd play the hell out of it

Alright, this is my first post for the WTTT/WTTSH tag.

Moving on. I like that this fandom uses songs for fanfic inspiration. Ofc, every fandom does this but moreso for OTPs. Well, how about songs/playlists for each individual state. For example, I'm a proud adopted daughter of the great state of California (based), and a lot of bands are formed here. Some are more underground or practically unheard of but I'll list a couple of songs that can be used for inspiration:

Rescue Me by Dirty Heads (SoCal)- Recently released and on the bridge of the song is an homage to California Dreamin' by The Mamas and The Papas.

California Nights by Best Coast (Socal)- definitely more SoCal vibes then NorCal

Drive North by SWMRS (NorCal)- as someone who doesn't like LA all that much (srsly, it's overrated), this song speaks to me.

These are just a handful of songs. Go crazy

like, glasses with a microphone and some sort of transparent display(since those exist now, apparently), that could listen to speech and display it in front of your eyeballs. That would sell like hotcakes for deaf ppl
