Testing a River for Gold in California chrisundertaking

Come with us to test four spots for gold at a secret spot along a California river. My older brother Nate, myself, and our families, head to the river with our Crux Prospecting highbanker sluice to catch gold. 

The 1st spot we tested was in the sand and river gravel along the river's edge. The 2nd spot we tested was on the river embankment near some big rocks. The 3rd spot, thinking 3rd time was a charm (it wasn't), we dug deeper into a clay layer. In the 4th spot we tested, we found the motherlode of gold. Watch to see the results!

The LARGEST GOLD Nugget

Where was the largest gold nugget found? I traveled to Canada with my twin brother Jason to snipe for gold with @PioneerPauly and Cyle from @cruxprospecting. I had never sniped for gold but learned from #pioneerpauly how to extract gold from the crevices and cracks along the bedrock. It wasn't long before we started sucking up gold nugget pickers in our snuffer bottle. After removing overburden, fractured bedrock and large boulders from a hole, we found the largest gold nugget I have ever seen. How much did the gold nugget weigh? Watch to find out!

Favorite one-episode characters?

The love for Eve Thorne got me wondering, what other one-episode characters would you happily have seen more of?

For me it's this guy, Charles Highbank. He was such a good friend and had a very moving backstory. Scenes without the main cast can cause me to zone out a little at times, but whenever this man was on screen I was entertained. Was sad to learn while looking him up that the actor, Adrian Schiller, died earlier this year.

I also found this character memorable. She had great chemistry with Morse. I felt like she'd be a fun match for him, similar to Joan but more self-assured, and despite her small role she honestly seemed more fully rounded as a character than Claudine.

Highbanks Metropolitan Park Mounds I and II

The two Highbanks Metropolitan Park Mounds (also known as the Muma Mound and the Orchard Mound or the Selvey Mound) are located within Highbanks Metropark in Orange Township, southernmost Delaware County, central Ohio, on the eastern side of the Olentangy River, north of Worthington and east of Powell. The mounds (located ½ mile apart) are archaeological sites and have been listed together on the National Register of Historic Places. The subconical mounds are believed to have been built by the Adena culture.

Also located in the park is a semi-elliptical embankment, the Highbank Park Works, which consists of four three-foot-high sections bordered by a shallow ditch. It is thought to have been constructed sometime between A.D. 800 and 1300 by members of the Cole culture. The site was surveyed by Ephraim George Squier and Edwin Hamilton Davis in 1846. They discuss the site in their 1848 book, Ancient Monuments of the Mississippi Valley. The Highbanks Metropolitan Park Mounds I and II were added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 19, 1975.

Okayyyyyy well. Its a few months later, and I'm back on my bullshit. I've just headed back north after being in Daytona for the Rolex 24, which is, for non car people. A 24 hour race of sportscars around the highbanks and roadcourse portions of daytona, their sanctioning body being IMSA. And theres. A lot of Porsches in that race. There is also a Miata race on thursdays during rhat weekend. i might do some crazy peersonal experience moment and write smth with that. OR. You know what's in the same state as the X-Mansion? Watkins Glen. You know who also Races at Watkins Glen??? IMSA.

That or I send them to pocono raceway (it would actually be easier for a day trip from the mansion in a car to Pocono then to Watkins) for a drawing bc. i have reference for that and not for watkins. i havent been there yet (I want to). Motorsports events would be like. Peak Scogan date moment ok. There's shitty beer and sunglasses and hearing protection highly encouraged. AND???? CARS GO ZOOM. also. alot of canadians come here for motorsports.

my brain is going a mile a minute. I feelike theres slept on potential here just bc in several depictions Scott Summers has a fast car.

and what if I told you. and what if i told u NOT ONLY am i making a scott summers cosplay (photos soon).

my interests are crossing in a drawing im working on. I like cars and i like X-Men what if. what if . Jean pov Logan and Scott working on the Mazda RX8 (the car from x2) in the garage. OR the Porsche from '97. am i cooking? is this anything?
