atlas may is the reason i cannot sleep.

was reading lackadaisy w my partner and he brought up the fact atlas looks so scary. to which i said RIGHT??? right… he does look scary. not to mention him being completely decked in various shades of grey— everything about him is so ghastly. but that’s not exactly why he brings me to sleepless nights, oh no no.

how can i simply go to sleep when all i think abt his how atlas’ presence is nowhere to be seen yet also… everywhere at the same time.

i come home from work to talk to his picture on my ipad and just scream: WHAT IS YOUR DEAL!??@!>?!?

i am not above pulling out the forbidden ghost board to contact this fictional cat man.

and i cant help but think the same throughout that flashback when viktor and mordecai raided the cabin. which atlas appeared briefly, not saying a single word. nothing. even in ingenue, the only time we had a semblance of character was him cracking a grin to ruby. that was all to it.

but that’s also why he’s such an interesting character. him and viktor have this similarity where they exude personality without uttering a single word.

his name parades through most of the character’s dialogue and his existence thrives through the other character’s motivations (e.g. mitzi and mordecai) i also can’t help but to think that everything he’s “done” was by proxy through everyone else’s actions.

at first i thought, atlas feels like a shadow. no… quite the opposite!! after everything, i feel like everyone else is his shadow. even beyond the grave he lives on throughout the series.

plus:

i have seen more of this man’s back than my own family. it’s insane. like okay mister mystery!!! come out come out

modern day liebgott is an uber driver who exclusively plays chief keef on his busted out speakers. his car is a 2004 toyota corrolla that smells like cigarette smoke and axe body spray. the rubber is peeling off of two of the doors. the left blinker does not work. a door handle has been mysteriously ripped off and the windows wont roll down. he has ten parking tickets he refuses to pay off and does not care about right of way. if hes delivering your food for uber eats you can count on the fact that he has eaten some of your fries. in spite of all of this he pulls more bitches than all of his friends combined.

I made a mistake. I washed my scent articles with soap and water and apparently didn't rinse them well enough. Aayla found the correct leather article but wouldn't bring it to me today. Drop it and just stood over it. 🙃

Otherwise she had a lovely run. Would have gotten a score in the low 190s.

Straight go outs, and had no issues with her glove retrieve, had some great left finishes and straight fronts too.

Right finishes need work still. She also had a slow sit while heeling and a no sit on the second go out. Thanks to the NQ she already had I went ahead and did a second cue for sit so she had to sit before jumping.

Overall very happy with her. Just wish I hadn't cleaned the scent articles.

The last Spider-Man animated series that had Peter as an adult was the New Animated Series back in 2003, and if you're only counting cartoons people actually watched, then you actually have to go back to the 90s animated series - otherwise, we're going to have four cartoons set in high school in a row with TSSM (2008), Ultimate (2012), MSM (2017), and the upcoming YFNSM, formerly Freshman Year (2024), and don't get me wrong, I think there's a time and place for teenaged Spidey origin stories and it obviously has mass appeal, but D*sney has like, no other ideas, even though non-D*sney adaptations like ITSV/ATSV and Insomniac have proven that there is a significant interest in Peter as an adult and experienced Spider-Man.
