punk ghost with uv tattoos of a skull on his face and bones up his forearms and fingers that can only really be seen when he’s at clubs/concerts/raves/etc., under the kind of lighting only ever found in those places

one night soap hooks up with ghost in the dark, uv-lit bathroom of a club, and it turns out to be one of the best hookups of his life—but after, he ends up losing the man in the crowd and winds up going home disappointed, though not any less sated

then soap unknowingly bumps into ghost at a bookstore or some other mundane location a few days later, and doesn’t recognize ghost at first because now he isn’t hidden behind the glow of his tattoos. it takes a few dates afterwards for it to finally click, when soap kisses ghost and recognizes him that way instead (and immediately has the revelation that they should invest in a blacklight)

I want to hear the story of Momo's hair and his piercings. Like, at some point, fairly soon after joining Re:vale, he made the conscious decision to dye his hair the same white as Yuki's. He went out of his way to make Yuki's mark on him overt and visible to anyone who sees him. And yeah, maybe that makes him splashier and more eye-catching as an idol, especially in the days of Re:vale's formation where they were sort of just throwing themselves out there without any real course charted.

But still, he sat down at some point and decided to let Yuki's influence leave a permanent (semi-permanent) mark on his body. What was that like? Did he see Yuki dying the stripe in his hair one day and decide on the spot he'd dye his hair too? Did Yuki help him, that first time? Brushing bleach through his hair with messy gloved fingers and trying not to get it on the roots? Or did he do it himself, sneaking off with Yuki's dye to try to match the color? Was it planned? Did he do it to try to show unity between them for their audience, or was it a gesture done for Yuki alone, with the audience nothing more than a voyeuristic participant in his act of devotion?

And what of his piercings? Those really are a permanent mark on his body. Two helixes, green for Yuki and black for Ban, and his own pink studs through the lobe. Together, but apart. His Re:vale, the "real" Re:vale, high and obvious on his ear, a subtle homage but a permanent one. And Momo, quietly supporting them from afar.

Okay I may be reading too much into the piercings, but regardless of if they mean all that, he didn't even have his lobes pierced before joining Re:vale. He chose to do that for Yuki, for their Re:vale -- a Re:vale that he thought he was only going to be part of for 5 years. A permanent mark on his body for his transient role in his idol's life.

my grandma called and said panicked and I quote "your mom called me very late last night and talked nonsense saying you joined a cult who worships a cannibal from the silence of the lambs or whatever and she's very concerned about you" IM SO EMBARRASSED WHAT DO I DO 😭😭 I'M GONNA GET DISOWNED OR WHAT whyyyy did my sister snitch on me 😔 like this isn't what you think but how do I explain the hannibal lore to normal people? they'll think I'm even crazier and also I went to the psych ward in February (i was just depressed and delusional) so that won't help.. A little something inspired by Calliope’s adventures in Ironwood! Here she’s standing with Angrboda and one of the Giants I pulled from the myths: Eggdér, wolf-herder of the Jötnar.

In the Völuspá, Eggþér (or Egðir, which I find more visually pleasing loll) is a herder of the giantess in Ironwood, which is most likely a reference to Angrboda. He raises the kinfolk of Fenrir, and joyfully plays his harp while the red rooster Fjalarr crows to herald the onset of Ragnarök. Given that he’s mentioned with Angrboda, I just had to make him one of the returned Giants in my fic!

Since he’s a herder, I imagine all those wolves who led Atreus to Angrboda were actually Eggdér’s, but he bid them to watch over her if he was ever absent. He also plays a harp, so I gave him an affinity with music, and a possible teacher for Calliope given her own goddess-y musical abilities. As for his dynamic with her (and with Atreus), that’ll be revealed more in the story! XDD

Oh, and I should probably mention that Kratos and Sindri won’t be the only father/uncle/guardian figures in Calliope’s life lmaoo
