Thought about this for a while now.

I made too many pages towards my Chai-joins-Vandelay-for-half-a-day AU: the headcanon heavy edition. It's also mostly the ending bit of it (there's still a little more I want to draw but they're mostly full of tricky dialogue so I hope I can find time later for them). I underestimated how many pages I wanted to make and it took twice the time I was hoping it would but I was able to get almost all of the fun and funny images I had stuck in my head out.

Luckily for all of us I can fit 'em all under this read more. Enjoy at your own leisure

Morning Routine

Post the game and Kale didn't die and Chai and Kale live together.

Their morning routine heh depending on their mood can be frisky, slow caresses, bodies entwined until they reach a moment of bliss.

But this morning the mood is sweet tender as Chai curls up to him , Kale can't help but play with the soft brown hair that tickles his nose.

"Come on now Chai, you know we have to get up today."

"Don't wanna...do we have to?"

Kale listened to Chai's whining, it was adorable really as Chai snuggled up closer to him, he himself didn't want to get up he was too comfortable and cursed that jobs existed.

"We do, I know I don't want to....how was it you put it...ah...yes, I don't want to Adult either, but alas we must."

Kale chuckled, brushing back Chai's hair and kissing his forehead, Chai looked up at him pouting with puppy eyes

"Put that bottom lip away before I bite it."

"Promise?"

Chai replied playfully, even though his eyes were still half closed from sleep.

Kale gave him a playful nip which had Chai squealing and blushing.

"Alright I'm getting up."

Kale didn't see Chai move at all.

"You're not moving though."

Chai looked at him with an eyebrow raised and a smile

Kale blinked and then scoffed

"Behave young man and get ready , we both have things to do today."

"We could do each other."

The younger man purred placing a hand on his chest.

Kale took him by the wrist and rolled them over

"Stop trying to get out of work by tempting me, I've purposely turned off my sensation receptors , because we know damn well I wouldn't be able to resist you and the things you do to me."

Kale chuckled leaning down and kissing him , slow and soft.

"I thought you said you couldn't feel anything?"

Chai's answered , cheeks flushed, having Kale on top of him like this was driving him crazy.

"Are you sure we can't just..."

Kale smirked

"I'll make an exception for you , you can take care of me later after work."

He purred against his ear , nipping at it, as a hand slipped under Chai's bed shirt ,his claws traced over Chai's chest , tinking lightly against the glass and across his belly down lower.

"Will you take care of me after work?"

Chai nodded , reaching up to touch his lover to hold his face and stroke his chest, he smiled , realising Kale was straight up lying he'd only turn everything off down below, the flushed cheeks gave him away but he wouldn't argue it as his lover caressed him so intimately.

(okay There's a little bit of spice shush)

After a few minutes Chai was curled up and holding onto Kale, whimpering and breathless.

Kale sampled the prize in his hand only to wipe the rest on Chai's shirt.

"Would you look at that you're all dirty now you have to get out of bed."

Chai rolled his eyes and laughed

"Love you to Kale."

Pulling his shirt off he was about to throw it on the floor

"Ah ah, we have a hamper in the bathroom, the floor is not your floordrobe or the dirty laundry basket."

Chai couldn't help but huff

"Fiiiiine."

As Kale sat on the edge of the bed , Chai took his chance to cling onto his back like a koala. A hand playing with Kale's hair and gently kissing the back of his neck

"Carry me?"

Kale looked across the room , the bathroom was adjoining, he shook his head a little and let him do as he pleased...damn it he was too soft on him.

"My own personal stallion."

Chai teased

"Say that again and I'll open my back panels and drop you."

Kale retorted.

"You wouldn't."

Kale scrubbed his face with a hand and laughed affectionately at Chai's response.

"I don't know, I might... alright now off my back and sit down on the toilet seat, you always splash."

Chai climbed down and made an offended sound at Kale's remark

"No I don't."

Kale who was getting his tooth brush looked at him with a raised brow and Chai felt like a guilty puppy.... because yes he did.

"Alright, alright, I'm sitting."

Parking his ass on the loo he balled up the shirt he still had aiming it for the hamper

"He shoots, he scores!"

Kale who was currently brushing his teeth just rolled his eyes smiling, damn it Chai was so fucking stupid cute , he needed to brush his teeth or he'd get cavities from how adorable he was.

After they freshened up in the bathroom.

Kale was dressing in his usual suit, purposely not facing Chai, he hadn't told him this but he liked being surprised by what random shirt his Lil Rockstar would put on, he wished he had half the confidence Chai did to just wear whatever he wanted.

"Hey Kale, where's my red scarf?"

"Behind the headboard after you used it to tie me up last night."

Kale bit his bottom lip at that, Chai was surprisingly good with knots

"Yeah that was funny, despite you being tied up I was still bottom."

Kale turned about to reply when he saw Chai ass up in the air , of course it was flat as a side walk, but it was still Chai's and well....he silently crept up behind him , he just couldn't resist, and spanked him, laughing at the squeal Chai let out

"You can get mad, it was worth it."

Chai smirked , wiggling his hips invitingly

"What if I said, harder Daddy?"

"Behave, I'll go make coffee you finish getting ready."

Chai moved to his knees on the bed and adjusted Kale's tie, pulling him in gently for a sweet kiss

"Alright, you know how I like my glace."

"Yes, more sugar than actual coffee."

Kale's hands slid around Chai's body holding him close, maybe he needed to kiss him just a little more, just a little deeper, eyes closed and tasting him, claws lightly pressing into his skin, Chai was temptation in itself to him, his resolve would crumble if he didn't let go.

"You gonna make your 'world famous' waffles this morning ?"

Kale asked hopefully, nuzzling Chai's cheek and neck and placing a kiss against his ear.

"Absolutely, busy day we're gonna need them."

Vandelay ruffled Chai's hair and reluctantly let him go

"Be out in five minutes then."

"Yes Master Vandelay, anything to service you."

Chai answered, his voice seductive and that playful little wave had Kale nearly walk back from the door and rip off the one item of clothing Chai was wearing.

Kale looked at him making a whining frustrated sound , stomped his foot and walked off.

Not five minutes later Chai came strolling out, not even wearing his scarf, he had a pair of blue jeans on , but ....he was wearing one if Kale's shirts half tucked in, tie loosely tied and one of his jackets with the sleeves rolled up.

Kale stared and stared, before pulling out a handkerchief and stabbing the dribble of blood coming from his nose.

"Damn it Chai you really are trying to get out of work this morning aren't you."

"I mean I could spend it under your desk."

"Chaaaai stop it."

Chai felt shivers go down his spine at the growl in Kale's voice, oh the things it did to him.

"Alright, alright I'll make the waffles and I'll be a good boy."

Kale inhaled slowly, he was not going to give into temptation no. Not again, this wasn't going to be their morning routine of Chai flirting with him into being late.

Another twenty minutes and Chai was plating up waffles , he'd been singing and shaking his hips to the song on the radio and Kale had watched him the entire time, trying to take his mind off of it , talking a out work , the weather.

Chai set Kale's breakfast down , golden brown waffles with a cinnamon and a scoop of ice cream, something Chai made when Kale was going to have an especially busy day.

With sliced strawberries.

Kale still marveled that Chai could cook but words like proposition were lost on him....

"There you go big guy, waffles with love."

Chai smiled warmly, kissing his cheek.

That was it , that was what did it, words of love with Chai's charm that Chai didn't even realise he had.

He could excuse why both of them were late.

Pulling Chai on his lap and kissing him he smiled, know what.

This was a wonderful morning routine.

What if Kale Vandelay was actually Spinach Vandelay

Hi-Fi RUSH Headcannons!

Chai had a congenital nerve defect that stopped him from using his right arm. Partially as a result, he is left-handed.

The reason Korsica’s password shows up as ‘PASSWORD’ at the end of the game is that every password input at Vandelay shows up like that rather than using ‘•••••••‘. Zanzo made the change because he thought it was funny. Unfortunately, it also means that every password has to be exactly eight characters.

Macaron has no particular preference for spicy food, but he has a truly ungodly tolerance for it. He can fully just eat a Carolina Reaper with a straight face. Korsica’s the complete opposite, but she has a predilection for blue cheese.

808 purrs like a normal cat, but when she gets really into it it’s like a phone vibrating.

Macaron writes some of the most beautifully well-documented code you’ve ever seen. Peppermint doesn’t.

Before Peppermint left the Vandelay family, they had a building called the ‘shame shed’ that was full of Peppermint’s half-finished side projects.

Chai’s family - and Chai himself - aren’t very well off, which is why he wasn’t able to do anything about his arm until Vandelay announced Project Armstrong.

Korsica is the only member of the band - besides the man himself - who can bench Macaron.

Macaron has a secret soft-spot for death metal.

CNMN sleeps. He doesn’t need to, but he’s given himself timed shutdown hours like a laptop.

808 also doesn’t need to sleep. This has not stopped her.

Korsica has a well-maintained fitness regimen that starts at 5am and ends at 7. Chai doesn’t know what 9am is.

Macaron’s cooking is a gift from the gods. CNMN’s tastes like it comes from a store. It’s uncanny.

Chai is ace.

Peppermint absolutely wrecks shop at paintball. If the band ever plays, it’ll be three teams with her on her own.

808 is afraid of water. This is wholly practical, as she isn’t waterproof. Chai is also not waterproof, and at some point he’s going to learn that the hard way.

The band’s skill at Smashbros is ranked thusly; Peppermint, CNMN, Chai/Macaron, 808, Korsica.

The bosses’ skill at Smashbros is ranked; Mimosa, Kale, Rekka, Zanzo, Roquefort.

Roxanne has never played Smashbros, but if she did, she would absolutely dominate. Second only to LU-C1LLE.

Hi-Fi RUSH theory rambling time

I was writing this for a wiki but why the hell not post it here too -

Chai's music player deliberately chooses songs that fit his emotions at the time. The game already implies that the music player's grafting to Chai affects more than his physical abilities and reacts to stress (like when The Rush starts playing when he's hit by the SBR-001), so it's entirely possible that this includes picking the song that would be the most personal.

With the streamer mode songs, that might even include the lyrics; even before the surgery, Chai is listening to "The Beacon" which is about being rescued from a dark, lonely place (possibly his own life prospects and hope about Project Armstrong), so it could be emulating the same habits. Notably, that song in specific could be suggesting he had depression or some sort of breakdown before the events of the game, but since Chai never shares about his life before this, no way of knowing.

(spoilers under the cut, to go into the songs individually:)

"I Got This", which only starts playing after he's started his escape, is about Chai's euphoria in getting freedom and attention, and having no intention of letting his new arm be taken away from him.

"Too Big To Fail" is similar, focusing on Chai's determination to fight anything that wants to take away his newfound freedom.

"Captive Normals" adds an extra layer to the ableist angle that being called a "defect" seems to have on him, as it insists on not submitting to anyone just to be "normal", even if that means acting well out of line. The lyrics have a LOT of ableist imagery mentioned (asylums, being shoved out of conversations, being “bed bound” and forgotten) further supporting that Chai has a lot of restrained anger about it.

"Buzzsaw" is Chai's first genuine act of teamwork instead of being mostly self serving, and the lyrics reflect a need to make it count despite the odds.

“This’ll Be Rough” speaks for itself; climbing Wing 2 is a pain and a break would be nice, but Chai is gonna do it anyway; fits his character well.

"My Heart Feels No Pain" seems to specifically relate to Mimosa's contribution to Chai joining the project. The female vocals insist it can't be a lie if he took the risks knowingly, while the male vocals have a realization that it was a mistake but it's not too late; culminating in the duet talking about Chai being truly free from her propaganda as the last bit of truth about Vandelay was fully revealed in the previous Track - not even Project Armstrong was Kale's idea in the first place, and his "coolness" was all manufactured through altering the truth about his family.

"Surfacing" is a reply to "The Beacon", having realized that a miracle wouldn't turn his life around, and instead Chai had to make the best out of his situation through effort.

"In a Blink" starts out mild as the music player is malfunctioning, describing a moment of hesitation leading to being manipulated (much like SPECTRA, but with the song playing at all, it’s clear Chai still had a little resistance left in him); but once 808 breaks him out of it, the song kicks in at full force, repeatedly telling himself to "snap out" as there is too much at stake, and face Kale head on.

EDIT: I saw a different interpretation of In a Blink’s lyrics that doesn’t match up at with the previous, so putting this alt here: assuming the themes use the vampirism allegory, it actually changes the context to something far more gay I mean vengeful. Kale put Chai in a world of lies set up to be a tool; but now that Chai is part of it, “it's my turn to feed”, as in, he’ll make full use of it to turn the tables instead of becoming the puppet. No seriously the vampirism angle only makes this more gay

In constrast, "Negotiation" and "Reflection" have no lyrics whatsoever or a licenced counterpart, as Chai is focusing on the task at hand fully.

macaron: augmented himself before joining vandely, always open to hugs (but might crush ppl), asexual,

korsica: likes puns

rekka: has been arrested many times, ex-pro wrestler, knows absolutely nothing about production shes just there to crush things,

zanzo: dosint know what jojo is hes just like that, uses AR labs to host ultra realistic DND for the heads of vandely ( rekka enjoys it, korsica wasn't invited, mimosa live streams it for views, roquefort begrudgingly plays, kale hates it, few research bots also play), zanzo is a very bad DM

mimosa: kales ex, live streams all sorts of stuff (from makeup tutorials to cooking, anything to get her views really)

roquefort: not as stingy as he seems (he spends alot of his own money on commissions and merch of his wolf, he has a onzie of his wolf) asexual, walks with cane due to habit forming when he was dying (he feels weird when walking without it), is a big puppy when he is alone in his wolf form

kale: is the reason why peppermint lost her leg, knows very little about business everything was set up by Roxanne, has daddy issues, had 95% of his body replaced with robotics because he wanted the power not due to medical need like roquefort,

New hyper-fixation, new OC, lol. This one is for Hi-Fi Rush! Their name is Honey, the left render is them while working for Vandelay, and the right is after they join Chai and the team! They're sweet, very trusting, and love living life to the fullest! But they also have a hard time focusing on reality and can come off as more than a little invasive because they watch people. Constantly. Even when they really shouldn't. They have a passion for all kinds of performing arts, but their main talents lie in dance (particularly ballet) and writing music!

Their face (including eyes and voice) are Vandelay Technologies prosthetics, and their robotic attachments can encase them and allow them to duplicate the appearance of anyone they've seen. Combined with a little bit of AI technology, they can even copy mannerisms and become very hard to discern from the original.

Backstory/infodump under cut! There will be spoilers! And it'll probably be long, lol.

So! Honey used to be really close with Kale before he took over the company. They gladly called him their best friend and were a little blind to some of his faults, chalking it up to him simply being an 'ends justify the means' kind of guy.

Kale, however, saw a little more in the relationship than was actually there, and harbored a little bit of an obsessive infatuation for them. After developing SPECTRA, he approached them with his plan to take over Vandelay Technologies and propositioned them with not only a lucrative position working for him, but the role of his beloved. He fully expected them to hop on board without question.

Honey did not. They asked if he was seriously going to mind-control his own mother, why he had to do it this way, what was even the point of vying for this so hard? Also?? They didn't think of him like that! And as his friend, they had to tell him that not only was this idea ridiculous, but absolutely awful!

Essentially, it turned into a huge blow-up. Things ended on horrible terms and, shortly afterward, Honey got into a near-fatal "accident". Kale, however, was coincidentally nearby, and managed to save them. And he even was so kind as to gift them state-of-the-art technology to replace all that they'd lost.

Tech that just so happened to have the yet untested SPECTRA.

Now fully under Kale's control, he "helped them realize" that they did, in fact, return his feelings, and were more than happy to take the job offer on top of it.

So he continued with his plan, stealing the role of CEO and placing them as the head of the Surveillance Department, which included their own SPECTRA pass-key. It was a mostly fluff job that didn't require them to leave his side too much. But when they did, it would be to check in on the other departments, usually by disguising as another Boss, or a lowly worker if they needed to be particularly inconspicuous. They were Kale's eyes and ears, and whatever they found, they could record through their prosthetic eyes and send directly back to him.

During this time, Honey's true personality was fully suppressed. They were simply subservient, quiet, and...

Always.

Watching.

The other Bosses were aware of them and their ability to spy when needed, but didn't put too much stock in them otherwise. They never spoke unless addressed by Kale, and only reached out themself through email. By the nature of their job, they had the most correspondence with Korsica and the Security Department.

After Rekka was defeated and Chai blasted Peppermint's involvement to Kale, he was able to deduce that the next target would be the AI Labs. After having Honey replicate Rekka long enough for her to "peacefully retire" and keep the news off the company's back, Kale sent them down to R&D to keep an eye on the situation. There, they disguised themself as one of Zanzo's robot assistants and watched the entire shitshow of experiments he ran on Chai.

By the time Chai came back with Macaron, Honey had sent their footage to Kale, who immediately set out with Korsica, sparking that whole chase. When Chai was captured, Kale opted to have Honey stay with Korsica for the interrogation, as a protective means for whatever information she could get out of him.

Well, that didn't work out. Korsica left and, not knowing what else to do, Honey simply observed Chai as he escaped. He noted how weird they seemed, especially when they didn't try to stop him, but with more important things to take care of, it didn't occupy his mind too much.

Once Korsica was recruited, though, she brought it to the group's attention that there were actually seven pass-keys, and informed them about Honey's role-- or what little she knew of it. And in the time they rested up and planned to deal with Mimosa, the group got to see the ways Honey replicated the other Bosses to help maintain the sense of normalcy for the company, pretending to be all three of the defeated Bosses on video and through email.

Mimosa was defeated with Honey quietly watching all the while. When Kale shut down the campus and retreats into the tower, he gave them one task: post up where the defect would try and break in, and see if they could beat him with his own skillset. If not, he'd managed to gather enough data on the temporal displacement Peppermint developed for them to use to retreat.

So Honey waited in Production, and challenged Chai along his route to the cannon. Needing as much information as they could get, they would pull him in for "dances", assessing how he moved and learned the rhythm of the beat that he moved to. Chai, meanwhile, was both flustered and weirded out by this whole "horror-movie-but-the-monster-is-cute" type situation. After each dance, they would take on the form of one of his friends and fight, using the temporal displacement to retreat whenever necessary.

The final fight, Chai had to contend with Honey perfectly replicating his own moves, his own appearance, and his own feel of the music. They seemed to understand the beat on the same wavelength he did, making the fight difficult for him. But also, it became apparent that not only were they under the control of SPECTRA, but that this strange dance-off almost seemed to pull them out of it part of the way. The physical distance from Kale also helped and, by the end of it, he was able to somewhat break through to them.

Ultimately, he gave up that run for the cannon to take them back to the hideout and have Peppermint try and disconnect them from SPECTRA until it could be destroyed. She did so, especially after realizing that she knew Honey from their friendship with Kale-- and had presumed them dead after their accident.

Once free from SPECTRA, Honey was able to fully be themself again, though with some of their trained quirks still remaining. They learned that they'd been practically catatonic for five years and about all of the things Kale had done in that time. Somewhat disillusioned by everything, they offered to help any way that they could, becoming a staunch ally of the group. And, as an act of kindness, everyone helped them get a new outfit that wasn't chosen for them by Kale!

When Chai calls on their help, they replicate him and copy his every move, essentially doubling his damage output, lol. This makes them have the longest reload time, though, and they can't replicate his special attacks.

After Kale is defeated, Honey learns to grapple with all that had happened to them-- including still having flashbacks to how they perceived those five years under Kale-- and finds a home among this rag-tag group. And perhaps even discovers true, healthy love in the form of a certain wannabe rockstar... ;)

Hi Fi Rush and more naming analysis

Just realized how Team Defect and Vandelay Corp are not only named based on food, but also how well their respective groups mesh together, which may or may not have been intentional on the writing team's part.

Spoilers below!

chai is named after a drink brewed from black loose-leaf tea, its flavors being enhanced by milk and spices and herbs. By himself, Chai is a still a force of nature to be reckoned with, but is unable to reach his full potential.

peppermint is an herb that is often infused in chai. Peppermint the character's role is often to temper the main protagonist and rein him in. But with time they bring out the best potential in each other.

cinnamon is also an ingredient used to spice up chai tea. Being a psych-AI, CNMN helps Chai grow out of his selfish, attention-hog personality into a capable and caring leader. CNMN is also a notable enabler of Chai's antics.

macarons are a dessert, not an ingredient, but do pair very well with tea and cinnamon flavors. Macaron is capable on his own but is still highly team-oriented and is helped along by CNMN. He frequently complements (and compliments, heheh) Chai while helping the team along in their endeavors.

korsica I believe is named for a family of herbs that include thyme, oregano, mint, and so forth. Given all the varied applications of such herbs, it does fit with the personal crisis that Korsica the character experiences in her character arc, and being forced to pick a side between Vandelay and Team Defect. When Chai finally wins her over, her role is similar to Peppermint in that she helps him along but also serves as a voice of reason to rein him in a little.

Finally, we have the rest of Team Vandelay sans Korsica. Kale is named after a bland, leafy vegetable. Rekka is named for a type of spicy ramen. Zanzo is named for a brand of sparkling water. Mimosa is an expensive drink. And finally, Roquefort is a type of blue cheese. As far as the culinary metaphor goes... I'm no expert, but I think these foods all pair terribly LOL. Which fits because as both a team of villains and corporate officials they uh... mesh badly. Kale is always browbeating the heads of department, Zanzo and Roquefort are always directly at odds, Rekka and Mimosa make snipes at eachother, and poor Korsica barely feels like she belongs.

Hi-Fi Rush theory:

What if Roxanne Vandelay is evil?

Because when she trapped Chai and the others, her eyes didn't have pupils, meaning that she was controlled by Spectra. But when she was talking to them and said: "I promised to help him. No matter who gets in the way" and "its Kale's finest work", her eyes were normal, so she was not being controlled. After that, her pupils disappeared yet again.

But if she said things like these while she wasn't under the influence of Spectra, it means that she was helping Kale willingly and that she was fine with the whole mind-control idea. But no one suspects it, because everyone thinks that she was mind-controlled the whole time.

Maybe I'm just overthinking and this is just a simple animation error, but given how many little details there are in the game, it might not be.

Werewolf Chai AU

Some people were curious so here’s what I got so far for this AU!

SPOILERS FOR HI-FI RUSH AND THE POST-GAME, PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK

So a few months after the post-game, the second SPECTRA computer gets plugged back in (probably by a clumsy bot or something)

AI Kale gets back online and starts plotting for revenge

He manages to get his hands on Chai (he either get some bots to kidnap Chai or he mind-controls him just enough to lead him where he wants)

Instead of simply using Chai to do his bidding, AI Kale decides to "upgrade" Chai

He turns him into a cybernetic werewolf like Roquefort

And cranks the mind-control up to 11

In his wolf form, Chai still has his music player visible in his chest (it looks tiny tho)

His robot arm/paw is aesthetically different from his normal arm/paw

He can still summon his guitar but it's HUGE now

Instead of using the little grabby thingy as a base, he straight up uses a steel beam

Talk about heavy bass

In his human form, Chai does not look that different

But since he's full cyber/robot now, he has junction (? is that the correct word?) lines visible all over his body like Roquefort does

They glow orange/yellow tho!

Anyway, AI Kale sends Chai to get rid of the gang

It takes a moment for everyone to realize that "Oh shit, that huge cyber wolf is actually our beloved moron"

They can't fight Chai head on (Chai is already crazy powerful, now imagine him with Roquefort's strength) so they decide to go and destroy the SPECTRA computer instead

They do that by leading wolf Chai down to the secret room

And tricking him into crashing into the computer, effectively destroying it for good and freeing Chai from the mind control

Chai actually finds his new body and powers pretty fucking cool

This ends up with him becoming even more fearless and excited when it comes to dealing with enemies

At Chai's and Kale's wedding, someone attempted to murder Kale. Guards disarmed the assassin, but unfortunately, Chai was killed (he caught a bullet trying to protect Kale)

Kale took his life shortly after because he couldn't live knowing that he was the reason Chai died.💔❤️❣️

Our world name equivalents, I guess?

I’ve been thinking about this for a while now, and I’ve wanted to put this into some sort of written form (maybe for y'all to think about also). Like, what would our world name equivalents to Hi-Fi Rush character names be? So here are my silly little (and slightly sleep-deprived) thoughts on this.

Chai - Charlie

This guy looks like a Charlie, sounds like a Charlie, and acts like one. I’d definitely think his full first name would be Charles, but he’d instead use Charlie just because it sounds casual and more like his «style». 

Peppermint - Penelope (any pronunciation would probably do)

Pretty fancy, ain’t it? Well, she would probably be fine with people addressing her as «Penelope», though opting for «Penny» with close friends and family (Kale excluded, of course. he would would probably even use her full name so snarkily).

But if we were to go with a not so similar sounding name, I’d go for Britney.

Macaron - Macallan/Malcolm 

He would definitely have «Mac» be a part of his name I just feel it. He just HAS to. And would use Mac with his friends and close colleagues.

Korsica - ???

I mean, it’s alright, like there’s not much to add to Korsica in terms of her name. There’s an island with that name, but it starts with C so… what do you know.

Okay, maybe you could throw in Kaitlyn or Ko(u)rtney for her, but I just don’t feel it. 

I can’t say much about the upper management here, since their names actually seem pretty normal for our world, in my opinion. Some rare, but still normal. Like, Kale is Kale, A boring ass name for a seemingly boring ass man. Zanzo would probably have quirky parents, more so than Mimosa, who would be from a wealthy family, much like Roquefort. And Rekka would maybe have some Asian heritage in there somewhere for her name to be like that, Idk.
