“I’m allowed to stare.” You responded with a giant grin, discreetly waving at Benny when he spotted you. He waved back before getting his friends to follow him to the first few rows of bleachers, trying to get a spot as close to you as possible.

“How did you even meet him?” The girl next to you asked. “I mean, there’s no way you guys run in the same circles.”

“He was a friend of a friend.” You answered. You were really good friends with Sarah, mainly because she was dating Jesse Black. But the two of you remained friends after he had left school, and she had introduced you to her new friend group. Most cheerleaders labeled them the geek squad, but you didn’t care. If anything, they were very refreshing to be around. “Now he’s my boyfriend. Simple as that.”

“He looks like he’s never felt a woman’s touch.” Your first friend giggled. You looked up at the bleachers to see Benny and your friends sitting in front of you in one of the higher rows. Your boyfriend stared at you intently with a goofy grin while everyone else talked amongst themselves.

“I like my men like that.” You said. The gym was almost filled, so the conversation would have to wrap up soon. “And trust me, he’s definitely felt a woman’s touch by now.” Although he couldn’t hear what you were talking about, you winked at Benny, making him blush.

“I thought it was my job to do the cheering.” You jested, pushing back some hair from his face. “But still, you’ll be getting home late.”

“I don’t mind.” Benny persisted. “Was thinking that I’d go on the rooter bus, and then when we get back, we could get some dinner or something.”

You smiled at the idea. Food definitely sounded good. You’d eat before leaving, but you didn’t want to risk making a mess of your uniform or being late to the bus.

“How did I get so lucky?” You sighed, leaning down to kiss Benny. Even when you went to straighten up, he tried chasing your lips for another peck.

“I’m the lucky one,” Benny corrected you. A hand left your body so he could look at his watch, and he then quickly patted your thighs. “We better get going; we can’t miss the buses.” In a panic, you jumped away from him and grabbed your bag. While speeding down the stairs, Benny replaced the bag in your hold with his hand, slinging the bag over his shoulder.

When the two of you got to the high school, he speed-walked you to the bus that the football team and cheerleaders were supposed to ride to the game on. Benny made sure to give you a kiss before handing you your duffel bag.

The second you were within reach, Benny had a protective, almost possessive, hold on you. He kept glaring at Jason, who scoffed at the two of you and walked away. You finally took his attention away from the boy by planting your hands on his cheeks and kissing him.

“What are you so worked up about?” You asked, but you already knew the answer. You pulled Benny down the hall so you could go to class.

“Nothing.” He answered, which the both of you knew was a lie. He muttered something you couldn’t hear, and there was a sudden yelp behind you. You looked back to see Jason spinning in circles, trying to look at something behind him. Looking closer, you notice that a tail had sprouted out from his backside.

“Benny!” You meant to say it in a reprimanding way, but let out a giggle as you turned back around.

I like to think that at least almost all of the town (beacon town before it became beacon town?) had wither sickness and lost their memories of the event, which explains why they aren't trying to get ivor killed orrrrr they (at least a small group of people) aren't mad at the new order for not staying behind to help keep people safe.

The ocelots weren't sick, they know what happened. Gabriel was sick and from what i remember (its been like 7 years since ive watched any episodes and im too scared to go back and rewatch, i dont want any characters to be ruined for me) Gabriel doesn't remember what happened after he got sick. Maybe later he remembers who he is and all that happened before that but not the wither event. I like to think that the ocelots stayed behind (as if they had a choice) and around town to help sick people???

They seemed pretty keen in helping lukas and the gang with the fireworks (even if it was just to help lukas or gain fame, they are actively putting their lives in danger)

Even after and the people DID forget the events of the wither, The alive ones are not going to remember that there was anybody helping during the wither event (though it would be hard to explain why some people are missing because how do you explain someone is dead when you dont remember that happening)

Which brings a problem of mine for this theory/au. How do they know that jesse and them saved them? I like to think that the old order were kinda like. "Hey see all this shit? jesse saved yall, we're retiring adios"

They wouldn't second guess who the order deems worthy...

Which brings up a new thing for me. Aiden would be PISSED! They stayed and lived through that shit possibly risking their lives and get nothing in return and lukas is trying to get their groups together and be friends, which has got to be embarrassing for the ocelots because here are these people out there who saved the world and here you are after saving the people left behind, WHO DONT REMEMBER THAT, and not getting a thanks for it. yes its rude to want fame for something like that since its a nice thing to do (but is it really that rude for wanting to be recognized for risking your life? I know he would want it for all the wrong reasons tho lol)

which would tie into why aiden dislikes jesse and them in the first place.

when you met josh you thought he was a bit weird becuase of him being rather...eccentric, but he quickly warmed up to you when he saw how well you got along with his sister. after that it was all long laughs and numerous hangouts.

eventually your fondness for each other develops into a mutual crush on the other, but you both dont want to ruin what you have so it remains unsaid.

eventually the time for the annual blackwood pines trip comes along and you (and your entire friend group at this point) are hoping josh will make a move or youll have to.

but things were differnt this year with the new addition to the friend group in the form of matt taylor, resident jock next door.

you had seen him around school before, never really talking to him minus the few interactions when hed ask you for help on a question in english and you to him in math.

now he and mike were both on the football team, so he introduced him to everyone and josh said he could tag along on the trip after knowing him for a few months.

hey yall it’s been a minuet. i remembered i have this account which is wild to me and i think it’s time i let her go. im graduating college soon and am off to bigger things which is incredibly exciting, however, i dont want that to overshadow what this account once was. im still debating as to whether or not i should delete it. part of me wants to keep it up to memorialize my youth snd reflect back onto who i once was. the other part of me wants to delete it and keep this as a memory for both you and i to have. that’s more of a ME thing to determine, regardless i digress. ive been inactive for a very long time and it should come as no shock that im permanently leaving, however it felt wrong not to give this page one final goodbye.

This account has grown with me over the years, quite literally since middle school. ranging from my beatles phase, to fall out boy, to stranger things, and then the 2020 pandemic and everything in between. this account has been with me in every single phase of my life and has been a space for me to be unapologetically myself. i have made some of the best friends on here and some of the most insane memories. if you told my middle school self several years ago i would be in my senior year of college, writing this in their apartment in their bed, she would be in awe. life for me did not end at 13, it didnt end at 17, and it certainly won't now i sit here at 21. it's crazy to think that this account has been such a significant part of my growth and development as a person. being on this site for so long has taught me so much about friendships, love, and that there are always people who will love and support you. for me, though, i finally have thatlove and support beyond the screen, which is something 13 year old me has always wanted.

now more talented and knowledgeable people than I have opined on this subject relentlessly, but i don't like to be quiet so you're going to hear from me on this one too. here's what i think the mariners should do. obligatory disclaimer that i don't know shit about what the fuck a payroll cap is other than we have one, so. that's not coming into consideration

1. THE OUTFIELD

there have been a number of proposals suggested by others, but i'm going to focus on what i think is a good idea. first, we sign brandon nimmo. he's an outfielder, he's a left handed back, he's got improved OBP, all things we're looking for. i'd love to have him, he's perfect. we've plugged one hole in the outfield. 

now for the other hole. there are two options here. first, we could re-sign mitch haniger. i love mitch (We're Going To End This Fucking Drought letter my beloved) and i would love to have him back. most of his issues are due to the fact that he's unnaturally prone to freak accidents, and at SOME point he's got to have an injury free year, right? right? 

the other option is masataka yoshida, a left-fielder from japan's baseball league. the mariners are well known for having signed famous players who came from the npb (ICHIRO MY BELOVED), it wouldn't be out of the question to sign another one. yoshida is a two time batting champ, and he would go far in plugging the hole we've got in that left field. 

if we don't plug that other hole... well then i'd say we probably do a situation where taylor trammell, maybe kyle lewis if he comes back?, and sam haggerty take turns in that section of the field. 

no we are probably not getting aaron judge. still. a girl can dream.

2. THE INFIELD

here's where things get tricky. people go ohhhh should jp crawford be moved to second baseman? should the new person signed play shortstop? here's my thoughts: i do not give a single shit. if jp plays second base, i will be happy and cheer. if he plays shortstop, i will ALSO be happy and cheer. i am a very cheery boy.

there are a lot of shortstops and second basemen entering the field. i was always lukewarm on adam (kate, if you're reading this, im so sorry. i cheered at captain slapdick i promise) and i honestly don't think we should re-sign him. there are lots of other options we've got entering free agency. most people are focusing on four Big ones: carlos correa, dansby swanson, trea turner, and xander bogaerts.

gonna say no to correa. i don't like cheaters (for those who do not know baseball, correa was part of the '17 cheating astros, and i have hated him ever since). i would DEARLY love turner or swanson or bogaerts. however lots and lots of teams want them, so that's yknow. a bit of a wild card situation.

i'd also really like to get jose iglesias. he's slipped under the radar a little bit in comparison to others, but he had a .297 season, so that'd be amazing.
