CHAPTER 4 LET’S GAURRR!
Ooh ‘the eighth’ sounds sexy Welcome back to season 3 ( or 2?) of Julian’s play-by-play commentary hehe🤭 Sorry in advance for how long this ask is gonna be.
“You will come across many soulmates in your current lifetime. But that doesn't mean you will get to keep them.” WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?😃Pls don’t raise my blood pressure from the get-go. Anyways concept photos ate as always. Bottom left one is my favourite. The minsung one is kinda unsettling tho… foreshadowing maybe👀
Btw Minho best not give me a hard time this chapter I literally do NOT have the capacity to deal with his beef rn. Idk why I think mc will win Jeongin over tho. But hey, we’ll see! I’m literally weak with excitement!! Oh and 15k + wordcount is crazy btw I’m so proud of you <3
“Out of all of the memories he had ever made, Felix had pushed most of them away. He buried them so deep that sometimes, he wondered if he would even be able to recall them if he tried.” *takes a long breath* that… hit home.
Wait so Chanlix are all the way from district 2?? Damn. This concerns me so much because the life they have now in district 6 must be lowkey paradise compared to what they probably had before. I’ve been wondering if the rebels have family. But we’ll see.
“…using Jeongin's homemade "thunder bombs" 퉤 퉤 퉤! 소리꾼! (TWE TWE TWE SORRIKUN)
“Not everyone had as much to offer as Minho, who was beyond skilled in his knowledge of healing.” Now I feel bad for going off on him in my reaction vid :((((( Also ngl Hyunjin's perception is impressive. The way he's already figured mc and lix out. Could never be me💀 I'm so blind when it comes to this kind of thing.
Hold on….“Remember what we all agreed on, before you get too attached.”
HOLD ON…. “The same thought that had been replaying over and over again in his head since he saw that damn family crest around your neck.”
I HOPE THEY’RE NOT PLANNING TO KILL ME HELP– I really hope they didn't make a pact to end me💀💀✋
“So what if he wanted to know how you looked with your lips wrapped around his *[dinky-donk]* instead.” I have so many inappropriate things to say…. (This was WILD)
“Felix wasn't like Jisung, who could charm his way into convincing whatever semi-interested human being he stumbled across in god knows where to fuck him.” You sure about that bro? Let’s not forget chapter 1😃
“Terrified for this moment to end because once it did, you would be forced to come to terms with the permanence of the decision you had made tonight, and what it meant for not only your future, but the future of every innocent person that you passed by, sleeping soundly without any idea that a war had just begun.” SO WELL WRITTEN! SAURRR WELL WRITTEN MWUAH
“and then, to your surprise, he left your side without a word.” UHM???? EXCUSE YOU???
“But that wasn't the only reason.” PURRR MC GO GET THAT *[retracted for the sake of modesty]*
“…and sometimes Jisung who just likes to be wherever Minho is.” You’re so real for this BAHAH💀💀
“He took a few steps closer, inviting himself into your personal space once again.” TRYING TO KEEP IT TOGETHER RN BUT I’M SLOWLY LOSING MY SANITY
“Oh, I dont know. The fact that you can't seem to keep your tongue out of my mouth?” I LOVE MC WITH EVERY BONE IN MY BODY UGH JCKVJDNSL
“After all, every time you'd kissed, he had been the one to initiate it.” THAT’S THE THING!! TELL THE MF!
“Felix was the king of sending mixed signals and you had half a mind to call him out for it…” DO. IT.
“Felix brought his hands up to rest against the wall on either side of you, closing you in.” I don’t want to keep reading I cannot keep reading I’ll d!e if I keep reading I-
my sweet Jules🥹💕💕💕 can I first just say that your enthusiasm for this story is so much more appreciated than you will ever know. like words cannot even BEGIN to express how i felt when I saw your asks pop into my inbox yesterday, but i will do my very best. i’m finally sitting down for the evening to answer these (and have been looking forward to it for two whole days) so lets get started..(i'll make sure to comment as much as i can without revealing any spoilers🤭)
"I HOPE THEY’RE NOT PLANNING TO KILL ME HELP– I really hope they didn't make a pact to end me"
and already i'm reminding myself..NO SPOILERS
“...Hyunjin’s perceptive is impressive...”
especially when it comes to lix.🫢 and don’t feel too bad about going off on minho just yet….
“You sure about that bro? Let’s not forget chapter 1”
i’m💀 omg lix doesn’t see himself this way alright.😂😭 (however right you may be)
it means so much to me that you always take the time to mention the concept photos and i will never ever forget when you said that each chapter has a different color that you associate with it. that touched my heart more than you will ever know.🥹🤍 and the word count honestly at the rate I was going I was terrified it was going to be something like 18k lmao but thankfully we were able to condense a bit.😂
THE THUNDEROUS LYRICS.😂 ty for including this lmao i HAD to include a thunderous reference somewhere because it may or may not be my fav skz song of all time and I will fight anyone who tries to tell me it isn’t a masterpiece
"SO WELL WRITTEN! SAURRR WELL WRITTEN MWUAH"
(ily lmao) this was a last minute addition like an hour before i posted the chapter🤭 so the fact that you included it here made me giggle. and if i’m being honest our mc really has become very special to me too. i had absolutely no idea when i first started writing this story how attached i was going to become to her but i really have grown to hold a special place for her in my heart so once again thank you for this.💕💕💕
going to head on over to part 2 now....(mostly because i need to cut myself off or i will spend all night on this one ask alone because there is so much to unpack with your commentaries and you know i absolutely love you for that<33)

How do you think the Brothers would go about with an MC that acts like a mom/dad? Who do you think would slip up first and call them that?(Although I'm pretty sure we all know it would be Satan 'cuz he is in desperate need of a parental figure-🏃‍♂️)
Parental MC!
(Feat. GN!MC and the Demon Bros)
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦
Lucifer
Didn’t think much of it at first. You were extra helpful, and he figured your empathy and attentiveness was just another one of your unfortunate human qualities...Until you scolded him for staying up so late, and he felt kinda whipped? Hello who do you think you are????
Can’t even get mad at you because you’re right, and now for the first time he feels like HE has to apologize?? His brothers are 👀👀👀📸
As much as it bothers every fiber of his being to be told off by a human... you're also so affectionate and attentive that it makes his heart swell. But please stop fixing his collar in front of Diavolo he begs you-
You don't let him resist. This man doesn't know the first thing about self care so it looks like you'll have to beat it into him 💪
It's the little gestures, like making his coffee some mornings or bringing his breakfast to his room, folding his clothes for him and making sure his favorite suit is pressed to perfection, and- ...now he's embarrassed. Please leave him be...
Mammon
There’s so much to get onto this man for its not even funny- His room is always cluttered, he rarely irons his clothes, doesn’t do his chores, his time management is nonexistent...
So you let into him and now he feels like he’s being torn apart by Lucifer-! What the hell is the big idea..?! Ya know you're taking to THE Great Mammon, right??
And when he tries to buck up and yell back at you? You take his PHONE. MC please it was just a prank bro please he’ll clean the tub he swears pelease...,,,
Maybe it's not so bad though. As much as you get on his nerves, you praise and encourage him so much that he can't stay mad. When he needs anything, he naturally just goes to you.
He's starting to get used to being spoiled by you. It's nice, you know? Having someone who derisively cares about his well-being and stuff... N-Not that he's happy about it or anything!
Levi
This man’s self care habits don’t exist, and that means he’s a victim of your parental instincts. His stuffy room needs a deep clean, he needs to eat proper meals, and he needs some fresh air!
Definitely rebels the strongest. There’s no way he’s listening to some normie-! ...Is what he’s say if you weren’t holding Azuki-tan hostage.
You tell him its for his own good and that you care about him, so he can’t really get mad. And this kinda...doesn’t this feel like a specific genre of manga..? Uwaah...
But seriously, being spoiled like this is way too much! You bring him meals to his room, sometimes you help him tidy up, you make sure he's taking care of himself... y-you're not trying to propose, right? He's not taking it the wrong way, r-right??
You thought he was clingy and needy before?? Just wait till he becomes attached to your hip because of all this love. He will literally do things just to get your attention. Oh nooo his room is dirty, please help him clean again oh noooo you're enabling him-
Satan
This man’s sleep schedule is so sporadic, and his room? Atrocious. You’re gonna fix that.
Not without ample resistance, though. It’s always “after this chapter, I promise”, and “Oh? Have you been watching those parenting videos on Deviltube again?” He's not taking it seriously at all-
Smooth about how he ignores your commands, but he finds himself bending a little... It's nice that you care so much about him, but only in moderation.
Satan likes being spoiled, but he'll become annoyed if he's coddled too much. Be careful not to treat him like a child. He's pretty independent in general and has his stuff together, and prefers to be the one spoiling you.
Calls you mom (derogatory) because it's funny-
Asmo
He’s used to being adored, but this is an entirely new thing! You’re so thoroughly interested in his  wellbeing that he actually feels kind of... Embarrassed? What a weird feeling...
You coddle and adore him, yet you’re stern when he goes overboard. You nag him to study, and you carefully brush through the tangles in his hair, you fix the tears in his favorite outfits, you bought him that candle he was looking for...
His heart is so full, he can’t keep his hands off of you! Marry him, MC! Give him a kiss! Jokes aside, it's making him feel all giddy, even when you scold him for trying to start a party in study hall.
Really though, you're managing to tame one of the wildest brothers, and that's a feat in itself! Try not to let him take advantage of that-
Beel
He noticed how caring you were right away, and BOI did it make him happy. Beel seems naturally drawn to you, because of your gentle nature and the way you somehow get everyone into line.
They’re happier lately because of you, and he loves it. Even Mammon’s scummy behavior has improved!
But what REALLY gets him are your homecooked meals. They carry that comfort food feel, and he can taste the love in every single bite. It’s so good, it’ll make a grown man cry...
You still scold him when he breaks into the fridge or leaves crumbs everywhere, and he actually feels bad for it 😔 Sorry mom....
Now he usually goes to you for help before he'll go to anyone else. Sometimes he prefers you over Belphie... sometimes. It's not that obvious, but he's definitely become clingy.
Belphie
This brat could use all the gotdamn help in the world, but luckily you seem to have the tolerance of a saint.
His sleeping habits can’t really be helped, but you know he can do better about taking care of himself!
He’s annoying about it and asks you to do it for him. Brush his teeth please. Can you make his bed? Hey, have you seen his pillow? Let him use your lap-
Naturally drawn to you, too, like his bastard soul knows he needs a parental figure to set him straight. Does his best to have you spoil him, but usually falls flat
And when you scold him? He tries to ignore you like he does with Lucifer, but something about your lectures hits different.. Especially when you whip out the “I’m not mad, just disappointed”. He'll linger around and try to do little chores to get your attention, and forgiveness.

What Jungkook is like in a relationship/ Jungkook as a boyfriend Tarot reading
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was gonna put Jin up first but I finished Jungkook quicker so oops but I’m finally back after 200 years of adulting things
1. How long does it take Jungkook to get into a relationship? 8 of pentacles, 2 of cups, the world Do he prefer long or short term relationships 7 of swords, ace of wands Nelys the alchemist 27 reversed, 5 of swords, 9 of cups reversed
For an actual relationship and not just dating I think he can take a while if not a long ass time because he’s too much of a perfectionist and will work hard at making sure everything is right before getting into a relationship. I don't know why I’m getting like before things would get “steamy” he would never let them see his body until he worked out enough for his own standards like everything has to be perfected and mastered beforehand. There’s also a reoccurring theme of work getting in the way and even in the beginning stages it’s like he meets up with them does whatever then has to hurry and run back to work and is like “hey I gotta go but I’ll text you later” type of shit. Big focus mostly on career though so it’s hard to tell. But I still think he’s not just sleeping around with just anyone I mean they have to be important if the 2 of cups pops up. I don’t think he’ll get into an actual relationship with someone unless there’s a strong connection. Or at least to him it seems like an important connection.
I gotta say too that the 7 of swords usually screams fuckboi to me but in this case I think the lying and trickery aspect of the card can be taken literally to mean of course he has to lie and sneak around when fans would legit doxx and slit his partners throat if they knew they were together. But anyway in a relationship there’s definitely gonna be extremely strong sexual chemistry I don’t know why this keeps popping up but alright. But one annoying thing is that in a relationship jungkook seems to like fighting in a way. He doesn’t like to lose to anything and will want to win an argument even if it’s petty. There’s also a kind of energy of the other person feeling inadequate sometimes with how much praise he gets from the entire world. It makes the other person feel as exposed since they’re not doing as “well” in the grand scheme of things. And will sometimes not want to compliment him on things because he gets compliments from the entire world this is just day to day petty shit. Another thing is getting into a relationship thinking this person is the one but then realizing over time and all the work you put in was useless cause this is emotionally unfulfilling.
2. Past and present love life king of pentacles, wheel of fortune reversed, queen of pentacles
Past: bruh his love life in the past is similar to the present. He was mostly focused on building his own career and wealth and love was on the back burner tbh. I think since he has huge goals for himself there was really no time to even do other things. But his love life right now seems like it’s a external long term problem affecting it. And I think he’s learning how to balance his love life and work life right now and just letting things happen and trying to take care of his body and mind.
3. What is he like in a relationship Tobaira of the waters 37 reversed, The glanconer 62 reversed, mother of dawn, knight of pentacles, flashover 11, 6 of swords reversed, addiction 11, envious gluttony 9, is this me? 4
When Jungkook is in a relationship he doesn’t fully feel like he can be emotionally vulnerable and instead will act mischievous and play around to hide behind vulnerability. It can tend to make the other person mad because they never know when he’ll actually be serious because he plays too much sometimes. There’s also playing up to peoples ideas of him. It’s not outwardly tricking people but allowing them to believe what they want and project their fantasies on him. It’s like a weird energy of wanting to rebel but also you feel stuck and want to please them so you don’t let them down. I think he overthinks legit everything and makes things a bigger deal in his mind than what it really is.
Another thing is he could have a tendency to stay with someone even if it’s toxic because of a mix of remembering the good times and also insecurities. There are big vibes of being emotionally stunted like I feel that he’s mentally a teenager still and even though he’s physically different and projects something different. When he’s in a relationship; he still feels like that insecure kid in his head and he can’t escape it. It’s like a false bravado thing going on. There’s a hole that leads to darkness and from that another one that leads to even more darkness. That's dramatic but that’s what it’s like for him. It’s like this emotionally starved monster in his head but in reality the monster is this scrawny young boy who wants to let go and open up but is blocked by himself and running away from his shadow aspects. I do see him though slowly moving towards becoming more open, honest allowing his vulnerable and passionate side out in a healthier way but it might take a while (unless he’s already been working on this) since the knight of pentacles is the slowest knight but he’s also the most stable and loyal.
4. What is his "type" the sage 19 reversed, knight of cups reversed, Jeanne the maid, golden empress, the lovers reversed, 3 of cups reversed
His ideal type is someone who can come across as aloof, cold, excessively critical. Hey I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but when I pulled a clarifier I got the knight of cups reversed lolll. Dude likes toxic people apparently. On the surface they might look “normal” but on the inside their inner world is overflowing and they have an abundance of charisma and sexual energy. Honestly that could be a big reason why he likes that. There’s a big dualistic energy in them and appearing the best on surface level but underneath is really unpredictable and has the energy of unrequited love. I think he likes those types of people who don’t fawn over him like he’s the second coming of Jesus tbh. This person doesn’t give 2 fucks and they don’t tell everything up front they’re mysterious and it’s more of a challenge for him. They’re really good at appearing humble and maybe innocent even but that’s just because they know how to woo people really. They’re confident and can convince people of almost anything especially around those in power they know how to present their best self to get what they want.
At first I was confused why your ideal type would be someone that seems manipulative af but it makes sense when Jungkook has a lot of deep dark shit he needs to work on from the other cards. I think it’s a big codependency thing and excitement that someone toxic can bring also the fact that this person is down for anything in the bedroom they’re not ashamed or shy about it. His idea of love is pretty distorted he thinks he needs someone who is as intense as he is but really it would be a bad combination especially with the lovers reversed. I’m getting especially that as long as he keeps going after these types of people, he’s never going to be with his “true love” for a lack of a better term. Basically not be with someone who is actually good for him. There could be third party bs but I’m getting more of an overindulged and addiction energy between both of them. Even if he knows they’re no good it’s just so intoxicating it’s like a damn drug to him and it feeds into his more animalistic side (I have no idea how to articulate this lmao) it’s like possessive nature. This reminds me a lot of the attachment types since there’s a lot of people like this who love a more avoidant person and I feel that Jungkook is probably avoidant himself so this is like home sweet home to him. It puts him in the cat chasing mouse position instead of the other way around. That emotionally unavailable energy is very appealing to a lot of people I guess especially when you’re used to everyone bending over backwards for you.
5. What is his love language: Ta’Om the poet 29 reversed, the bodacious Bodach 59 reversed
He likes when someone actually does helpful things for him that is useful and not like the annoying meddling energy of just doing stuff for him that he doesn’t want you to do. He also does this for others. So acts of service mostly but you already knew that.

hey, love 💓 hope you’re having a good day. I just discovered I have an Aquarius stellium and I don’t really know what it means 🙃
thank you so much angel! aquarius stellium:
“extrovert-passing introverts” // aquarius stelliums are great at being social, and they like connecting with people, but they tend to hate being social at the exact same time, they like isolation/alone time and can have a pretty short fuse for dealing with people (it’s pretty conflicting! they have a love-hate relationship with being social lol, it highly depends on the house of the aquarius stellium in this case)
they tend to have that “social battery”, but it works both ways. they need social interaction for happiness (esp aquarius moon/venus), but they also usually need a day or three to recharge after social interactions/gatherings
despite their very chill, calm exterior i do find they get irritated and frustrated pretty easily, they have a very low tolerance for people’s bs and they aren’t usually great at hiding their annoyance (mostly because they simply don’t care to; in an aquarian’s mind they don’t generally see why they would hide their emotions for your sake)
surprisingly very stubborn! people expect them to be open since they’re an air sign; and mind you, they are very good at listening and understanding new ideas, concepts, ways of thinking/doing things, etc., but it’s pretty rare for aqua dominant people to change their ways/mind; and if they do it has to be on their own terms & feel like it was their own choice/idea
they can have issues when it comes to embracing & accepting their emotions; they tend to intellectualize and try to rationalize everything they feel (this will depend heavily on the individual’s moon though)
tend to be musically and/or artistically inclined, usually the most talented and creative people you’ll ever meet (i find most aquarians use art/music as an outlet; and a huge chunk of aquarius stelliums i’ve “studied” or read for have made their careers in the art fields)
i’ve noticed they tend to stutter a lot when speaking! aquarian dominant people (esp aquarius moons, mercurys) have this habit of speaking before they’ve actually formed the thought/planned out what they were gonna say: so they kinda of just “sjlkfdjdlkf” irl sometimes or take a while to finish their sentence (scattered speaking style)
they don’t like talking about their emotions/feelings unless they can be self-deprecating about it or make a relatable meme/joke out of it
very analytical people and they overthink anything and everything that people say and do (especially with aquarius moon and/or mercury)
they’re quite blunt, they don’t generally sugarcoat things and can be as cutthroat as aries/capricorn are stereotyped to be
on that note, they often just say what’s on their mind at the time and they don’t intend to hurt people, they just don’t often realize the things they’re saying are hurtful/too blunt
aquarians are very, ‘why would i filter myself for someone? i don’t want people to filter to me’, and it can be hard for them to understand some people’s sensitivities in conversation
they really despise copycat or reflector-type individuals; their biggest turn-offs tend to be those who follow the crowd, don’t think for themselves, mold themselves for others, etc
aquarians can take a really, really long time to fall in love i find, as they tend to not care for it and usually just view people in a “friend way”, but once they find “their person” they are 100000% committed and will probably make big steps (from saying “i love you” to straight up moving in together, marriage, etc) very fast
undeveloped they do run a habit of having “hot and cold” relationships; a tendency to become super attached very fast only to flip the switch and detach shortly after, usually after they lose interest or become too comfortable
on the topic of romance again, aquarians also (or at least as i’ve noticed) do not use “i love you” very easily or lightly, even if they DO love you and you’re best friends/in a committed long-term relationship/etc, they don’t use the phrase very often and tend to save it for very select times
again can have a lot of trouble expressing their feelings and emotions so they can be a bit awkward at first and for a while in relationships
again they’re VERY independent and they need alone/recharging time or they’ll get very frustrated and anxious
they get very protective of their creations, ideas and style; so when they feel they’re being imitated; or when their ideas are criticized; they get extremely upset and defensive
also very humanitarian!! i’ve noticed despite most aquarians being like “oh i hate the world/society/people/etc” they have this constant, inner need to help people/the environment/the world and tend to be really passionate about it (aquarius energy is very “fuck the world!! im gonna still save it tho”)
aquarian stelliums probably had an emo phase and if they managed to escape it they probably still dress like they’re in their emo phase lol
depending on their ascendant/midheaven they likely have a pretty unique sense of style as well; i find those with strong aquarian influence often wear very “stand out”, “in your face” and original outfits; very much the type to constantly be changing their hair colour & makeup styles as well (they like wearing things or having aesthetics that tend to shock others; they secretly enjoy getting reactions out of people)
these individuals are very committed to their work and hobbies, they tend to put those above everything else in their life. a lot of people forget the aquarian connection to saturn; aquarians are usually very committed to their jobs and work very hard when they’re in the work-zone
their friends tend to be a hugely significant part of their life too; aquarius moons/venuses especially tend to talk about their close friends ALL the time and they’re very, very protective of them (so loyal)
aquarius stelliums tend to have lots of acquaintances but only a few select close friends (and even most of those close friends they don’t fully open up to)
usually struggles with intimacy and vulnerability
they tend to radiate a lot of natural confidence and security in themselves, despite how insecure they may feel inwardly
not to stereotype, but they do usually tend to be drawn to obscure, occult or controversial things. often the types to have “weird” hobbies, interests or habits
often very into, or open to, things like astrology, conspiracy theories, spirituality, etc! but they do think very rationally and logically, so they like to analyze and pick apart these things at the same time, they don’t just accept and follow these things (they have no issue with picking apart their own passions and interests either, so if you debate an aquarius they probably already know what you’re gonna say lol)
usually have the nagging desire to be known (whether it be famous, or just accepted/loved by many/friends/family/etc); they likely felt misunderstood and abandoned their entire life (namely in childhood) so now they have a huge craving to be in the spotlight; although they hate admitting this
aquarians have the ability to fit in well with many types of people, yet often in childhood they were excluded and/or subjects of bullying i’ve noticed (oftentimes from their own family), which is part of the reason why they frequently grow up lacking a feeling of “belonging” or feel like “outsiders”; they deep down crave to be accepted and embraced/have fans/supporters
aquarius stelliums often struggle with fears of abandonment which contributes more to their isolation habits and independent “i dont need anyone but me and my spotify playlists” nature
they despise being controlled, tied down or told what to do; often if you tell an aquarius not to do something they’ll go out of their way to do it, even if they initially didn’t want to do said thing lol (the house that’s in aquarius will show the area of life in which they “rebel” the most; or are the most uncontrollable/free/independent)
random note: i also find aquarius stelliums are frequently very awkward around children/don’t usually desire nor want any at all

Imagine | A Baby? (David)
Imagine David having to raise you.
Requested by @Davidsmate24 on Wattpad.
~
The night started as normal, the boys hanging around the boardwalk until they grew hungry. So, they tracked down a few unsuspecting people and feasted.
Of course, something unexpected happened.
When David was about to attack a woman, she screamed, "No, Y/n! Don't hurt her!"
David, naturally, paid her outburst no mind and drained her of blood.
Then, he heard a cry.
A baby's cry.
This was not good. The Lost Boys never hurt children: it was just an unspoken rule. David frowned as he investigated the noise.
He discovered a babe wrapped in a soft f/c blanket lying by a bunch of bags on the ground. This must be the 'Y/n' that the lady was screaming about.
Paul, Marko, and Dwayne come beside him and stare down at the child.
"What are we gonna do?" Marko asks, tilting his head.
David cusses, "I have no idea."
~
Long story short, they took you in and began raising you as their own.
It wasn't easy for them to get accustomed to you.
~
David stares at the screaming kid with irritation etched into his features. "What the hell is wrong with it?!"
At his tone, she begins to cry out again, louder this time. He runs a gloved hand through his hair and breathes out heavily.
Dwayne speaks up, "Maybe she's hungry?"
"Marko, food," David demands.
Marko frowns, "What do babies eat?"
"I don't know, think of something!" David growls, sending the younger vampire scampering away.
The child watches the curly blond leave before wailing again.
"Ugh, make it stop!" He seethes, glaring at the nuisance.
"Maybe pick it up?" Paul suggests.
David curls his lip, "No way. You hold it."
"Hey, it's not my responsibility."
"Why is it my responsibility?"
"Because you killed its mom."
Dwayne intervenes, "Can you stop calling her an it? She has a name."
"What was it again?"
Dwayne sighs, "Y/n."
"Oh right."
David, having enough of the crying, finally bends down and scoops the child into his arms.
To everyone's surprise, Y/n stops crying.
Marko walks in, holding up a bag, "I found some baby food!"
"Finally," David sighs, and hands the kid over to Marko and Dwayne. Although he'd never admit it, he actually liked holding the baby in his arms.
~
Eventually, you grew into a cute toddler. Marko and Paul loved playing with you and teaching you knew things, like how to speak and walk and draw, while Dwayne was determined to teach you the alphabet and simple math.
David was like the overseer, and somehow your favourite out of all the boys. He would read to you and show you cool 'magic' tricks and tuck you into bed each morning.
The boys all grew attached to you, and loved you as much as they would have their own flesh and blood.
~
When you discovered that the boys were vampires, you were unaffected, having not understood what vampires were in the first place. They told you when you were younger, so that it wouldn't be such a shock.
They told you that you could turn when you were eighteen, which seemed so far away at the time.
Currently, at seventeen years of age, you've become a bit of a rebel. Therefore, it's been harder for the boys to keep you out of trouble.
You sneak out during the middle of the day to explore Santa Carla without the boys watching your every move. You've even been hanging around the comic book shop much to the annoyance of David.
He's become so protective of you, demanding that you stop seeing Edgar and Alan, claiming that they're 'dangerous'.
You can understand where he's coming from, seeing as the Frog brothers are determined self proclaimed vampire hunters. The fact that you're going to turn into a vampire in a few months would make them hate you.
David hates waking up to find you missing, although you always leave notes to tell him where you are.
Paul and Marko usually feed your rebellious side, being the fun uncles of the group. Dwayne is more of the calm, but still cool, uncle.
David, on the other hand, is your father figure, having taken up the mantle when he 'found' you on the beach.
You even call him 'dad' sometimes.
In the best sense, you and the Lost Boys make a tightly knit family, willing to do anything for each other.
~
You enter the comic book shop with a smile, sunlight pouring in after you. Edgar and Alan look up from the books in their hands to return the smile.
"Hey, guys, what's up?"
Alan crosses his arms and leans against the counter, "Not much. It's been quiet lately."
"No vampires?" You tease, a sly smirk forming on your lips. Deep inside, you're terrified that one day they'll find what they've been looking for.
If they did find out the Lost Boys' secret, there's no doubt that they would try something foolish.
You really don't want that to happen.
Edgar glares at you, "Not yet, but we're ready."
"I know that. You and your crosses and garlic."
Alan adds, "Don't forget the holy water."
You roll your eyes, but cringe on the inside. Holy water is the only thing that can actually harm the boys, apart from sunlight.
Relax, they have no clue.
Sitting on the counter next to Alan, you look at the fading sunlight. You snuck out before sunset to throw off the Frog's suspicion, just in case.
"What are you doing tonight, Y/n?"
You turn to Alan and shrug, "No idea. Probably just hang around here, if that's okay?"
"Got nothing better to do?" Edgar questions.
"Jeez, now that I think of it, I've got dinner with the Queen! How could I forget that?" You laugh, "What do you think, Eddie?"
Alan suggests, "We could always go to that concert, close up shop early.
"Ooh, yes! I wanted to catch that concert! It's gonna be awesome!"
You look to Edgar with wide puppy dog eyes, "C'mon, what'd you say?"
He doesn't say anything, simply sighs and nods. You laugh in victory and leap up, "Let's go, losers!"
~
The concert is amazing!
You've been to a bunch of different concerts before, but never with the Frog brothers. They kinda just stand there and maybe nod along, but it's nice to be with friends.
In the distance, you hear motorcycles revving.
Crap. I hope they don't ruin everything.
You nudge Edgar, "We should head back."
"Why?" He frowns in confusion.
"It's nothing, let's just go."
You push through the crowd on your way to the shop. As you break free from the swarm of people, a different group blocks your way.
An angry David leads them.
"Oh, uh, heya Pops," you mumble, looking downwards. "Fancy seeing you here."
"Where were you?" He asks.
"Out."
"I know that, I want to know where you were."
You gulp. Technically, you're not supposed to be hanging around the Frog brothers.
"I was around. I went to the concert."
Just then, two familiar brothers arrive behind you, "These guys bothering you?"
"No-" you start to say, but a glare from David silences you.
"The Frogs," the head vampire growls with a smile.
This is not good
"Why are you hanging around my daughter?" He takes a drag from his cigarette.
Edgar and Alan freeze. They hadn't known about you're fatherly attachment to David.
"Daughter?" Edgar asks disbelievingly.
He nods.
They look to you and you nod, "Yeah, this is my adopted dad, David. David, you know Edgar and Alan."
"You're one of them!" Edgar accuses. He's been suspecting the Lost Boys of being murderous vampires for some time.
"No!" At your outburst, David frowns dangerously. "I mean, kind of. I don't know," you try to explain.
Alan scoffs and starts to walk away, "Don't bother coming back to the shop. You're not welcome."
Your heart breaks as they leave.
Tears fall from your face as Marko wraps you in a warm embrace, "It's okay, kid."
"It's not okay!" You yell, wrenching away from them.
You run to the beach, away from it all. The silence is a welcomed experience. You turn when you sense a presence.
"David, why did you do that?!"
"You have to realize that they don't care about you! You know what they'd do if they knew for a fact that you were raised by vampires?! They'd kill you, Y/n. This is for the best."
You hate to admit it, but he's right. You hate it when he's right.
He hands you a cigarette and lights it for you, "I'm sorry, hun. I know you wanted to be their friend."
"They're the only ones who wanted anything to do with me."
"Not true," David chastises, "Marko, Paul, and Dwayne love hanging with you."
"It's not the same."
He sighs heavily, "You're right. We're your family: we're never gonna run away like that, no matter what."
You hiccup, trying to stop the tears. He draws you close and hugs you, "Love you, sweetie."
"Love you too, dad."

Male!Werewolf x Human! Reader (Modern AU)
Tumblr media
So I’m back with another monster post. Werewolf boi is Rhys - tattooed bad boy with a bad boy and hubristic personality; there is more to him but is more of an enigma. ENJOY!
Warnings: mentions of blood and comfort. LONG CHAPTER AHEAD!
PART 2  - PART 3
A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing
You had seen him many times in your small neighbourhood; a man you knew little of. You always saw him in the front of his garage of the front of his home, a heavily tattooed man wearing always some jeans and a white tank-top, always stained with oil with the rest of his muscular body.
You didn’t always like to stare, but the man literally stood out always when you caught him working on his bike or a rusty car. You noticed always his olive skin: greasy and sweaty from working under the hood, his dark hair messy as he finger-combed it out of his deep-caramel eyes.
There wasn’t much to know about him, and although you knew everyone in your small town, the man who lived not too far down from you was someone you knew nothing of.
People spoke whispers of him and his family: that he was the runt compared to his younger brothers, rebelling in many ways and always finding himself in the back of a cop’s car.
Other rumours went to him dealing with drugs, to being part of a mafia gang in the following town; some more absurd to outlandish than the next. The mysterious guy would be in your mind and remain the mysterious hunk with an unknown past and present.
You - on the other hand - were in the minds of some a goody-two-shoes, obeying rules and always tending to stick to them. You finished your education and got good grades, never stuck with the wrong crowds, and always seen as the angel in a world of negativity.
Sometimes that could be tiresome. Sometimes you thought, you would want to break the laws and reform from a life of the good side. Maybe once you could go and break free of the mould you had known all of your life.
Your day was usually the same; wake up, go jogging then head for work for 7 hours. It was the usual. Today seemed like all the others, heading out the door in your gym gear and with the dog leash in hand.
Toby was a large grey-charcoal great Dane, and indeed, a pain in your backside most days when it came to walking him. He was certainly a hassle when it came to walking and controlling him, and when it came to holding him, it seemed like he was the one always walking you and never the other way round.
“Come on boy.” You cooed, holding the leech tight in your grip as you began to jog down the narrow side of the road.
You lived just outside of your town, dense forests and few small houses lined up on the side of the road, where few cars came.
Walking down the long stretch of road, you were always anticipating for the lovely sight of the mysterious stranger working already in his open garage; always a sight that made your mouth water like you were picking a sweet treat in a bakery.
Holding Toby on a long lead, you jogged along the road, headphones in as you tried your best in controlling the large dog on your left.
His large house came into view to your left, and when you were waiting in joy for the lovely sight of the man, you were left in disappointment when you saw nothing but an empty and shut garage door, no sight of anything out of ordinary.
Toby yanked on the lead rougher than you had expected, and you nearly tripped in your gym shoes over the road, and you tried tugging the reigns in before you could fall.
It wouldn’t be the first time that I’d fallen on the side of the road. You reminisced, cringing at the event; the fall had left your knees bloody and palms of your hands scuffed and scratched up, leaving you shaken up.
“Toby, stop.” You grunted, something catching or gaining Toby’s attention, the sheer weight and strength of him was something that made you feel more pressured into trying to stop him.
“Toby.” You pulled him back, expecting for once the dog the size of a small pony, but when you saw that familiar sight of his large ears pinning up and standing straight up, you knew that you were not in any way able to stop him.
He had spotted a squirrel.
Gunning it in the bolt of lightning, quick as silver, Toby sprinted and you had underestimated whether you would be able to hold him back. You were pulled forward from the force as if someone from behind had shoved you to the floor.
The leash fell from your grip when you made contact with the hard concrete, knocking the wind from your lungs as you tried to get some air into you; a burning sensation kicks in through your entire body starting from your fingertips and spreading.
“Toby!” You spluttered, blinking in the realisation of where you were and what could’ve happened to your dog. There were cars on the road, and Toby was sprinting with no care in the world.
You stood shakily to your feet as you went about chasing after him, the adrenaline pumping in your veins, all thought running out your mind with the dread of too many questions?
What happened if he got hit? Or I did? You could barely afford vet bills and the thought of how much it could cost was something you couldn’t deal with, nor the fact you could lose Toby if someone was recklessly driving or needed to swerve.
Heck, I could get someone else injured because of this. Your day seemed to be getting worse the more and more you went with how badly it was going already. You didn’t believe it could get any better.
But then, your saviour, your hero appeared.
The short cut off of an engine caught your ears: a passing motorcyclist coming shortly to stop just before Toby could get past. Casually, almost magically, the anonymous motorcyclist coolly opened a palm out just before Toby sprang like a coil past.
And just like magic, Toby stopped dead in his tracks of running and trotted with no hesitation to be taken in and held by his attached lead.
Your mouth had dropped, as you sprinted down to catch up with the two, luckily, the roads hadn’t been too mad with other vehicles, and those were more interested in getting on with their days to stop and check if everything was fine. They had seen this countless times once over.
You were heavily out of breath, no matter how many times you went out jogging, this one had really knocked all your sense and air out from you, and you wanted to no more than to go and lie down in a darkened room.
“Toby, thank God-- hey, um, thank you.” You took back Toby by the lead that the stranger - now that you could tell was a male - and back into your own grip, making sure to be extra careful not to let him loose.
The male didn’t respond to you at all, and you knew that he had gone out of his way to help you, and it made you feel more embarrassed than you had taken time out of his day to help you; all thanks to you not having a good hold on Toby.
“Uh, I’m sorry about all that, Toby’s a big dog, I should’ve known that he was going to bolt-”
“You can barely even hang onto him, it’s no wonder he got out.” You were cut off from your ramblings, blinking owlishly and unexpectantly by the obscured male in front of you, casually leaning back on his motorcycle.
“I-I’m sorry?” You took more than a good insult before, but this guy was more than good at throwing them at someone like you, and you were certainly not prepared.
You looked over his clothes from what you could tell: all leather and onyx as ink, he wore a leather jacket and black jeans, a white t-shirt underneath. The man went to stand, and before you, you witnessed the helmet he wore come off.
The first thing you spotted that was familiar was the eyes: caramel, and bright and clear, and held so much irritation. You gawked at the neighbour you never knew anything about; the supposed bad boy who was linked to drugs and gangs.
The mysterious man before you was taller than you from what you could see, and from this close, you could see all detail in his face from when he was always working. You could see the freckles on his cheeks and nose, the nose piercing septum that glinted silver and how his eyes poured like the caramel that was poured on top of ice cream.
He was simply gorgeous.
He blinked, looking you up and down with scepticism, “You’re welcome?” His voice was deep, rich and honeyed, perfect and expectant from him. “You have no control of your dog.” He bluntly said to you.
You felt a prang in your chest from being merely and rudely spoken to by this man, and all secrets and rumours about him you had heard all seemed in your eyes to come true. He seemed like an asshole.
You gripped at Toby’s leash tighter in your fingers, looking away and anywhere to not meet his eye line. “Y-yeah, he’s not really my dog, my brother wanted a big dog, and he’s our family dog--”
“Cool, anyway, I’ll be off.” He announced with no warning, starting the engine once more as it roared to life beside you, making you almost leap out of your skin. He noticed, but said nothing, eyeing you silently.
“Thanks once again.” You softly spoke, looking to his body, his tousled dark brown hair and his eyes, already looking you over as he gave no expression nor smile. Those eyes were already looking you over once more, and he must’ve seen you look at him up and down.
“Sure.” He bluntly said, not giving a goodbye as he put his helmet down and hurtled down the road and away, his fleeing figure disappear off the road.
You watched him ride off, breathing out shakily as you heard Toby whine beside you, nudging your bruised and bloody knee. He gave you a look that any other human would’ve described as ‘shit-eating’.
“Yeah, whatever.” You mumbled, limping off to get back home.
-
“You’re telling me he just sped off with no care in the world? Damn, and you’re telling me he might be single too?” The roar of laughter beside you brought you to groan as you wiped down the surface area in the diner you worked at.
“Yeah, can we stop talking about it? He really embarrassed me, Max.” You grumbled, keeping your head down to hide the blush on your cheeks.
Maximus, the half-elf who looked more like something from Game of Thrones snorted beside you, clicking his tongue in humour. “Damn, if I had a neighbour like him, you would see me looking out my window every day. All I’ve got are orcs and faes doing yoga and smoking weed.”
“That sounds better than living in a wasteland.” You muttered, going back to work, thankful that it was getting closer to closing. There were two customers, a couple chatting quietly to each other in the corner and an old man by the counter with a cup of coffee.
“Honey, I’m just saying, you should’ve asked for his phone number, then if he had rejected you, you could’ve given his mine.”
“The cheek!” You faked dramatically, earning a wink from your coworker and a good friend. “I’m sure you would’ve had better luck with him than me.”
“You said he had tattoos too. Maybe I may have to get my car checked out by him.” Max chortled, earning a slap to his shoulder. “I don’t think he even does proper work for others. He’s always working on the same cars and his motorcycle-”
“Now, you didn’t tell me he was a mechanic too!” Maximus beamed. A harsh glare was given a customer in the back, Maximus ignoring it. “He’s mysterious, Max - like he’s an enigma.”
“Those types of guys are always doing coke on Wednesdays and seeing 10 different girls on the weekends.” Max hummed in thought, “You’re playing with your fantasies! The hot neighbour, the innocent angel living next door who comes to him to get his help to sort out her car-”
“I’m not innocent.” You blurted in a whisper, careful to not get anyone else hearing your conversation. “He helps you out, and not just the car.” Max winked cheekily your way, making you groan into your hands, hiding the blush.
Your chatter died down when you heard the door chime with the knowledge of another customer walking in. You removed your hands to look over to your right, seeing in the far corner the person walks in, and all blood draining from your face.
No fucking way.
Maximus noticed your pale face and wide eyes, nudging your shoulder and mouthing what was wrong before his lavender eyes darted back and forth between you and the muscular man coming over to the counter. The elderly man with his coffee cave the man in leather a glare, before he scoffed and continued with his own business.
You watched in horror as the same neighbour who had saved Toby and not your dignity came strolling to lean up casually against the counter.
“Hey,” he spoke, and for the first time since you encounter and a week of avoiding him, he gave you a grin. Your heart fluttered at the sight of sharp canines in his mouth, sharp for any human, “table for one?”
“You’re here... why?” You gaped silently, watching in your peripheral as Maximus slipped off to clean some tables, leaving you to it with the sexy stranger.
“Can I not come to get something to bite?” He spoke smoothly, the same grin never faltering from his olive skin face. “I have a sweet tooth, and nothing says anything like having something nice, right?”
“Right--” You blinked, trying to control your feelings and emotions as you tried to resume the usual employee’s bubbly and friendly exterior. “What can I get for you then, sir?”
He snorted softly at the title, rolling his eyes as he drummed his fingers on the counter. “Anything you got. Heard you do quite good milkshakes.”
I’m not going to get him embarrassing me once more. You thought, feeling both sweaty and light-headed. “Strawberry or vanilla?”
“Strawberry.” He mused, removing himself from the counter as he got himself a booth alone to your right and far away from the door and everyone else before you could ask him to grab a seat.
You watched from your spot, glancing back at Maximus as he mouthed back to you in an exaggerated way. “With a cherry on top.” He mouthed, giving you a thumbs-up as he resumed working.
You sighed, getting to work, silently and carefully making a strawberry milkshake with all the works - whipped cream, strawberry sauce and a cherry on top in a tall glass - and carefully made your way to get to his booth.
He was pressed in the corner, jacket removed as he looked out the window, silently looking out as if he was thinking to himself. He took notice of you as he saw you coming closer, and you slipped the glass on his table with somewhat ease.
“Cheers, sugar.” He thanked you quickly and charismatically, and when you had thought your job had been done, did he speak up to you again.
“Say, wanna sit and chat?”
You turned back to look at him as if he had ten heads. “I’m working?”
“I can see,” he raised an eyebrow, but he still looked to you as if you were mad. “but there’s no-one here.” You breathed out through your nose as you quietly agreed, slipping into the same booth and sitting opposite him, watching as he took a sip of his milkshake through the straw.
His caramel eyes lit up at the taste and he groaned to himself, his eyes rolling into the back of his head dramatically and deliberately, taking another large gulp. The sight alone, made you feel like you needed an exorcism, for allowing such lewd thoughts to come to your mind.
“This is good,” He grinned, eying you almost like a snack, “but not as good as you.”
“Really now, because I don’t think our first meeting went down very smoothly.” You retorted back, trying your best to not allow his sweet words to affect you.
He laughed at the remark, unexpectant but he seemed impressed. “Hey, I’m sorry about it, if it makes you feel any better, I am enjoying this milkshake you made me, and your company.”
“You don’t know me that well,” you began, resting your elbows on the table, “and I don’t know you.”
“True,” he chimed, “but it doesn’t mean we can’t start over, huh?”
You watched him but didn’t respond. He held out a large hand to you, taking the initiative. “Rhys Pearson.”
You told him yours, and finally, you could now put a face to his name. “How long you been working here for?” He asked, his eyes drifting from the tiles to the unkempt ceiling, “You could be working in a nicer place.”
“The pay is cheap but it gets me money, especially for my family.”
“Why?” Rhys questioned, swirling the straw between his fingers. A lump formed in your throat at the given words you wanted to speak. “I just do, nothing else.”
Rhys held his hands up defensively, “Hey if it makes your life feel any better, my home life is pretty shit.”
You raised an eyebrow quizzically, “How so?”
Rhys sighed almost sincerely, “The youngest of four brothers, I never got much attention. Ma and my old man were always pining for work and money, and I always made sure to get their attention in other ways.”
So, the rumours are true. You pondered. You didn’t want to believe them so so quickly, after all, it was wrong to judge a person’s character only from what you had heard, and from what you had seen already, Rhys was deemed different.
“You had four brothers? That does sound shit.” You rarely swore, and sometimes the realisation made you more surprised than your own closest friends.
Rhys leant back into the booth seat: he’s looking at me again, trying to read me once more. “Do you have a ride?”
You blinked. “A ride?”
“Yeah, to get home.” He slurped the rest of the drink down in little time. “I get the bus home, takes a while but I don’t mind the journey.” You shrugged.
Rhys threw some dollars onto the table whilst he scrambled some from his jacket pocket, before sliding out from the booth to stand. “Let’s go then.”
This guy is mad. “Rhys? Go where?” You wanted to laugh, to think this guy was playing with you and your feelings, but he was interesting, to say the least.
“I don’t want to say it again, do I? I’ll try you home. I’m not entirely the bad guy, ya know.” He grinned, giving you a wink as he headed to leave.
“I’ll be in my car.” He waved back on you, swinging his jacket over his bare shoulder as he walked out, and the mere sight of that made you nearly swoon and your knees buckle.
You headed back with the empty glass and change leftover, looking back on an observant yet intrigued Max. “What was that all about?”
“I’ll tell you when I get home.” You threw the change into the register, going to head to the back to get your things. “Apparently, he wants to take me home.”
-
You stepped out into the cold yet refreshing air, the coolness hitting your skin as you hurried to take a relaxing breath out through your mouth, taking in the smell of the nearby pine and fresh salt from the coastline.
It was good to get out of work, notably when you had had a rough day, and it was even better not having to get on a bus all the way home when you could get a free ride back from the hunky neighbour who you still knew nothing about.
That was still the thing, he was still some guy you had just met, and he could’ve been a serial killer or some creeper who liked taking snaps of girls when they weren’t looking.
A nearby honk brought your attention back to who was waiting for you: Rhys’ head hanging out the window as he waited for you. You smiled faintly, more out of nerved, gripping to your jacket you wore as you walked over to his beat-down truck, red as a rusty copper.
“Took you long enough.” He mused lightheartedly. it was better to see him in a good mood than he was irritated with you. “Sorry, got caught up with a coworker.”
Rhys didn’t reply, starting the engine as he drove off, and you told him your address, the two of you silently sitting in the car as he drove.
It was peaceful to look out the window, but not to be sat in silence with no conversation. Your mind was going 100 mph, doing cartwheels and trying to find anything to say to him.
“I’m sorry about our first meeting you know?” Rhys spoke up after some time of just driving and following the road. You looked to him confused, waiting for him to elaborate. “I don’t get on well with people, I tend to stick to myself. Usually, people owe me something and I don’t like getting involved and shit.”
“It’s fine.” You replied, “Thanks really for helping. I didn’t want you to think I was weird or weak for being able to hold me down.”
“I couldn’t just let a pretty thing like ya go on being dragged,” There it was again, his sweet-talking, “plus, it was quite hilarious watching it all.”
“How’d... how did you do it? Get my dog back without even having to chase him?” You pondered aloud. Rhys paused for a moment, “I used to look after my aunt’s dog when I was young. I always liked working with animals more than people; especially dogs.”
“Huh.” You were impressed, that he could that so easily, and you knew that it must’ve been some sort of talent to work with dogs and get them to behave.
“This is mine, uh, thanks again, Rhys. It was nice speaking with you and getting to know you more.” He pulled over just outside your house and outside your driveway.
You observed him and noted quickly his posture and how he sat, almost leant back and curled over the steering wheel. Something seemed up, something he wasn’ t telling you.
“There’s more to me that you should know.” He begun, more roughly spoken as he took your forearm in surprise, roughly grasped as you stared in mild nervousness and fear.
He sensed it, not letting go entirely, but loosening his hold on you. “Rhys, I need to get in-”
“I’m... I’m a...” He nearly confessed too quickly, opening his eyes wide as he saw the way you looked over to him; they want to know more but too fearful of what he had to say. He shut his mouth, shaking his head as he let you go. “Nothing, just go.”
You reluctantly left and didn’t say anything else again to him as you left to get into your home, hurrying to get your shoes off as you run up to your room. By the time you had gotten up there, Rhys had gone, and you were sure that same evening as you were getting ready for bed, you heard the distant sound of a howl; a wolf’s howl longing call through the night.
You didn’t hear or see from Rhys for another week, then another, until a month had gone past. It worried you how quickly someone like him could disappear under the radar and not even be seen again by anyone again.
And of course, it being a small town you lived in, people were quick to assume and speculate.
They guessed it was him running away from home, running to another town, or having to go get more drugs for himself or his gang. The guesses from others made you sick; you felt that they were all lies.
You didn’t want to believe you were smitten with the guy, but Rhys did seem to always appear in the back of your mind, even when you were getting on with your life and work. He always seemed to be there.
You were in your kitchen alone at night, sorting out the bins that needed to be taken out for the next morning, but you had left it all to the last minute, and now it was too late and dark to head out to put them out.
Sighing and begrudgingly doing it, you tied the last of the bags and unlocked your back door to throw them away, no much really light helping you see; only from the large full moon that was out.
People were always so quick to spread tales in your town, of myths and monsters, and it wasn’t the first time they mentioned wolves. Wolves bigger than horses, hungrier and more fierce, raiding people’s homes or destroying lands.
There were apparent disruptions and mentions of raids of bins but you only assumed it could’ve been from foxes or even coyotes.
You had just thrown the last bin in when you had heard it; the most guttural sound that sounded like a blend of a growl and snarl.
It thrummed in the air and shook the ground you stood on, the sound more fierce from what you had heard from Toby when he was protective or scared, and more so deeper than a dog.
You turned round to face the sable backyard, of utter blackness and nothing but leaves and bushes and endless abyss of the woods, your eyes finally adjusting to something that could’ve made you believe it had been just a cat.
But what cat had eyes so big?
The house rattled with the shaking of an earthquake, that shook through the ground like a rising wave waiting to crash, through your entire being. Whatever it was, it was big.
And these eyes, they were wide and bright as ambers and honey, the colour that contrasted greatly through the darkness. They were large and squinted and the sound of snarling brought you to know you were being threatened.
You gripped to the stairs back to get to your door, the first step always seems too high and too far for you to reach, and one mistake could send the creature hurtling towards you with more speed than when Toby sprinted.
The creature’s fur was contrasted with a slight difference in the darkness: its fur was large and shaggy, the colour of ink the more your eyes adjusted to its shape appearing in front of you.
A wolf, the size bigger than anything you had seen before, slinked into the small light of your back garden, paws bigger than your entire head. Its head was hunched forward, prowling muscular arms treading slowly and carefully towards you, black fur the texture of a garden brush.
You leant back as far as you could, aware that you were letting off a pheromone that brought out your fear: and you knew this wolf was aware it could smell it on you.
The wolf stared you down, not doing anything to warn you off now the closer it got, and those amber eyes were enough to make you almost buckle to the ground in fear.
Slow and steady. You needed to remind yourself. You were dealing with a wild animal, one that acted differently to other domestic pets, and you didn’t know nor want to imagine how it would act if you did something out of order.
It was practically towering over you, all muscle and height and it made you feel powerless underneath it, trapped under its hardened gaze and intensity of its possible strength.
You left a small whimper out, as its large head came to nudge at your shoulder, the sound you didn’t want to let out to let it know you were rather scared, as you watched with no knowledge of what it could do next.
It inched closer to you, its warm wet and pink tongue suddenly started lapping at your arm, then your neck and finally and rough lick from your jawline up towards the end of your brow.
You grimaced. Was it now tasting you for taste? You pushed at its brawny chest to get some space, as the soft sound coming from the wolf as you pressed your hand away in dread.
It was a warning, one to make sure you didn’t do it again, and when you looked down, you saw flesh, bare flesh to the bone, some that looked to be flaking underneath the sable fur to reveal itself to you; red and bloody.
You realised it was injured, from the lack of wanting to attack you and the growl from earlier was merely just from not knowing if you were a threat or not.
But what about its skin underneath? It looked... so human.
Before you, the onyx wolf collapsed in a giant heap without any warning, and you yelped back in warning. Its large head was resting just before your feet, its eyes drooping as they looked up to you in question.
Please. They were warm and full of emotion, and it gave a long whine when you went to gently touch at it again, hot and blotchy to the touch, you didn’t know what to do.
You stayed with it outside for as long as possible, getting water and blankets when it was needed, but it didn’t drink nor get cold.
You remained, resting into its chest as you waited, waited for any chance it would get better, but you didn’t know if it would be possible.
You were scared, but something was calming and proving to be sending of protective vibes to you as if they would never really hurt you now that you thought about it.
You felt the wolf stir behind you, as if ready to quickly lunge up to its feet, but you felt nothing of it. Again, it stirred and slowly shifted, but nothing more. That was when you heard it, softly and begging, the familiar call for your name.
“Help me.”
“Rhys?” You sat up and bolted like a hare in a field, looking back until you felt like your neck had snapped from the speed. The large beast was no longer laying there, instead, a very naked Rhys, bruised, dirtied and caked in mud, he was bloody and sore all over.
You gathered the blanket up and took him safely indoors, where you took him to your couch and got him as warm as possible, all whilst your mind was swirling and spinning with so many questions.
Rhys must’ve sensed your lack of words, speaking up for you. “I get you’re confused.”
“A bit, or more so I am a lot.” You slowly walked over to sit beside him, a few metres away. “You’re... you turn into a large wolf?”
He grinned softly, as if pained. “I’m what humans call a werewolf. My family and I are the only families that live here.”
You went silent, too silent, and Rhys was leaning closer to you, taking your hands into his cold and dirtied ones, he squeezed on them tightly. “Say something.”
“What is there to say, Rhys?” You blurted, “You’re a werewolf, why were you in my garden?”
“I... I had a fight with one of my brothers... got into a fight with him and he won. I was sent off for the night to go find shelter.  thought your place would be the only option.”
You paused, mouth dry with lack of words. You suddenly felt aware of all little details and everything that was going around you, of what you wanted to so badly crawl into a hole and not come out. “You thought I would come and look after you?”
“I dunno. I just thought... you wouldn't judge me, for who or what I was.”
“I wouldn’t.” You squeezed his hands back for emphasis, aware of how small your hands were in his. “But why didn’t you tell me earlier? I was never one to judge anyone.
“I didn’t know how you’d react. Wolves are outcasted from society. I didn’t want you to think I was some... was some kind of monster.” Rhys grumbled softly.
“You’re not a monster, you’re far from one.” You breathed, leaning into him more. “"God, I can’t believe I’m saying this. I like you. I like everything about you, even though I don’t know you that well, but I want to know more about you.”
Rhys blinked, taking in your words, a smile gracing his tanned skin, one that wasn’t a smirk nor arrogant in any way, it looked genuine. “I like you too, and I want to get to know you more.”
He carefully took your face into his hands, cradling you as he lent in first, capturing your lips to his in a nervous kiss. You reciprocated, kissing him back in a sweet kiss, one that you didn’t expect from someone like him.
It was nice to kiss him, to feel wanted and loved, and you could imagine Rhys liked it too.
You pulled away first, much to his dismay, laughing softly as his reaction; the classic puppy dog eyes.
“Come on, I’ll run you a hot bath and get you cleaned off. Then pizza and cuddles, how does that sound?”
He took your hand as you led him out your living room, smiling broadly.
“I’d like that a lot, sugar.”

On the 7th division. After the latest development, where do you think Tsukishima's final loyalties will lie? Also is Koito's family already screwed either way? Considering they have willingly performed treason. And no doubt by now central knows. And Ogata, are you a central agent or not??? Where did your grandparents go? A cat's motives are mysterious indeed.
Hello there,
Thanks for the ask - well asks really.  I’ll try to give you my two cents on each question. Q1.) After the latest development, where do you think Tsukishima's final loyalties will lie? A1.) I think Tsukishima’s loyalties will end up with Koito.  The two men have grow closer since Karafuto.  He revealed his involvement in Koito’s kidnapping, part of Ogata’s background and for a while seemed stuck in his ‘fate’.  I think he started to defy that fate when he stayed behind with Koito after Sugimoto stabbed him versus following Tsurumi.  Tsurumi saw him hang back, technically against orders.  His last major attachment to Tsurumi was when he went full on terminator/tsukinator trying to stop Tanigaki and Inkarmat.  Koito is the one who told him to stand down and we know they’ve talked a great deal about what would happen when they’d meet Tsurumi again.
Both Koito and Tsukishima were involved with Kiro’s death, and Sofia knows who they are.  They are going to be linked due to the tiger curse, so I see them working together even if they get cursed.  Maybe the curse was the fact that they’d realize they can’t side with Tsurumi making their lives more difficult.  Who knows - but I can’t help but hope they have a decent resolution to things but also that they balance out their actions.
Q2.) Also is Koito's family already screwed either way? Considering they have willingly performed treason.
A2.) We lack clear information about Koito’s family and their exact role in things.  Tsurumi first used Koito’s kidnapping to get in his father’s good graces.  Yet, we know that he was close with Hanazawa.  Koito Sr. told Sugimoto that he read the letter that Hanazawa wrote before his ‘suicide’.  I see this going two ways i.) Koito Sr. thinks the letter is real and Hanazawa did kill himself ii.) Koito Sr. knows the letter was forged, but because the official story is that he committed suicide, he has to publicly state it as such. Hanazawa was clearly a part of the more conservative/cautious members of the military/government opposed to expansion.  Where Koito Sr. stands on this issue, we really lack information.  If he had the same views at Hanazawa, he may be acting on behalf of Central, just like Kikuta.  Right now, Koito Sr. doesn’t really seem to gain anything by assisting Tsurumi, unless he was explicitly told to do so by Central.  I could also see Tsurmumi blackmailing him if necessary but, we haven’t had any current evidence that suggests that. If Koito Sr. doesn’t give a damn about Central, he might be acting out of a similar sense of Tsurumi, to expand Japanese territory since he lost his older son in the first Sino-Japanese war.  Central’s resources are limited - they did not receive reparations from Russia and the Russo-Japanese War didn’t really do anything in the short term other than allow Japan to take the initiative to be the assertive East Asian power.  I really wish we knew more about Koito Sr.’s relationship with Tsurumi, I could see him also telling him that he’d hand over the gold to Central or part of it .  . . he is the master of sweet lies. There is also the idea that members of the 27th, such as Koito, could just state they were following orders, even though we know Tsurumi did have his speech at the beginning where he tells his men what their ‘real’ plans are.  I think this is a more complicated topic in a societal context where following orders is the norm and being a whistle blower would really be difficult. This is really complicated since all of the groups are acting in defiance of the Japanese government and its rule of law in the relative isolation of Hokkaido.
Q3&4.) And Ogata, are you a central agent or not??? Where did your grandparents go?
A3.) I don’t think Ogata is an agent for Central.  To be someone that deep into things would imply a sort of deeply nationalistic/patriotic loyalty to the state.  Tsukishima calls him one back in Yuubari, but it makes me wonder why he doesn’t suspect Kikuta later.  I never got the feeling that Ogata confirmed Tsukishima’s statement, he calls Ogata an agent for Central - and instead of denying it, verbally he just points out that Tsurumi is a rebel group.  That is such an odd response.  Is Ogata stating he simply observes that Tsurumi is a rebel group so therefore, his own act of rebellion is in line with the letter of the law, or that he has precedent to stand on.   Kikuta works hard to get closer to Tsurumi and into the hunt for the gold which is more practical for Central.  Ogata meanwhile teamed up with Kiro, went to Russia and has been bouncing between all the different factions.  I wonder if there was a conversation with Central where they were like: Central person - Hey Ogata we want you to be a spy in the 27th. Ogata - [shrugs] Central person - Great!  You are on board. Ogata - [shrugs]
Central updates Ogata and Kikuta later, hey you guys are on the same side.  Ogata [shrugs], Kikuta - okay cool.  Let Ogata be.
A4.) Ogata’s missing grandparents.  The fact that they disappeared mid-meal makes me suspect that someone made them disappear.  And not Ogata.  We know that Tsurumi has no issue with kidnapping.  I’ve wondered if Tsurumi kidnapped them and has them hostage.  Or worse, Tsurumi killed them and then made it look they disappeared.  We know that Tsurumi has worked hard to mold his loyal men to love him.  If Tsurumi uncovered Ogata in the quest to find dirt on Hanazawa, he finds Ogata and his grandparents.  He sees Ogata’s mother is dead, and the grandparents are the only people who are keeping him in Ibaraki.  If they suddenly disappeared, Ogata has nothing to return to.  Just like Tsukishima, who lost his fiance and therefore had no family to return to. Tsurumi needs his inner circle to be unwavering in their love of him.  If Ogata figured out that Tsurumi made his grandparents disappear, this could be his motivation to hamper his quest for the gold and is willing to bounce between factions to thwart Tsurumi at any cost. Many people think that Ogata poisoned his grandparents, but that doesn’t make sense, he doesn’t believe in unnecessary death and violence.  What is clear is that Tsurumi did something to Ogata that hurt him so deeply that he’s dedicated to blocking his end goal.
I’ve wondered if he chose to kill Hanazawa because he knew Tsurumi was going to kill him, but he wanted to talk to him alone.  He didn’t get the answer he needed from his father.  I think that Tsurumi saw Ogata killing Hanazawa was his acceptance of Tsurumi as his ‘father figure’ as he’s liberated himself from both of his parents.  But that didn’t happen since Ogata wanted to have a philosophical discussion with his father about his existence and if he is an incomplete human due to his background. Tsurumi pretty much egged him into shooting Yuusaku and it is clear that he was seen as a future problem once the war was over.  Did Ogata want him to have a clean death?  Did he want his father’s attention (which isn’t Tsurumi’s) and counter to his use by Tsurumi?  It is clear that Ogata feels guilty about Yuusaku’s death, but it isn’t because he was his half brother.  It was because he was a sort of innocent/idol who was trying to uphold these unrealistic and impossible ideals. I love Ogata’s character since he’s this individual who goes through things questioning everything about his life and how he fits into it.  Is he a moral person?  Is he good?  Does growing up a bastard child and bullied make him less of a human?  What does it mean to feel pain and guilt?  What is innocence?  Why to parents wield so much power over their children and how they can mold them into icons for their causes?  He’s searching for something in addition to the hunt for the gold.  He’s slowly learning things about himself in his crazy circumstance.
That’s all I’ve got for now.  I don’t want to ramble on.

Oh, and if you consider being a good soul and wirtting a fic for my ask, PLEASE make a happy ending hahaha My heart wouldnt be able to handle that drama without the happiness
Tears dry up. Eventually. Suppressing the pain. Left with unanswered questions. For weeks they bothered your conscience. Hang around your neck like a millstone. A burden on your soul. Pondering. That’s what you’re left doing. Your day to day life slowing down to a grinding halt. Everything went on auto-pilot. While your mind pondered over every moment of what could have been. What if… And, if I…
Circling in your mind forever. Sleep didn't come easy. Nor did any desire for anything. Friend and family kept summing up the logical steps of coping. Stages of grief. "It'll pass." Those little sentences stuck with you. “It’ll take time.” Each and everyone kept repeating it. But what value did it have? What lessons could you take from those words? For you are left with an empty house. An empty couch. An empty chair. And an empty place beside you. Alone. Trapped within your own mind.
Pondering over every thought and every memory.
That feeling of nothingness. It’s strange at first. You manage to go on with your life. Sleep returns at night. And waking up wasn’t at painful as it was at first. You couldn’t put your finger on it. But it could be described as numbness. Everything went on autopilot. And feelings were shut off. Barricaded behind layers of overthinking and mind-boggling thoughts. No sense of desire anywhere. The impact of a broken relationship was far worse then you imagined.
 Just comfortably numb.
"This will do you good." Your friend tries to convince you again. Pushing the flyer into your hand. “For a moment, try to think ab-...” The words reach your ear in waves. Disturbed by sounds coming from somewhere close by. Ringing in your ears. Folding open the flyer, you see some sort of menu. You squint again, slightly intoxicated by the last few beers. This wasn’t some ordinary menu, like a Chinese take-out restaurant. You feel your blood boiling. Heart racing in your chest cavity. You peel your eyes from the fat printed letters. “Men of your choosing."
“Give it a shot." Your friend nudges you against your shoulder. Seeing the fury in your eyes building, as you look up. "I choose this one for you." Pointing to a loosely attached picture. "He looks nice, doesn't he?"
“Why would you…?" You mumble, shaking your head in disgust. “Get out.” Tossing everything his way. “Just get out…” Pushing yourself up from the couch. Pacing back and forth across the room, before turning into the kitchen. Raking your fingers through your hair. Letting the cold water from the tap, run across your face. Why do people keep meddling in your business? It's exhausting. A sudden burst of rage and anger courses through you, but it ebbs away as quickly as it came. Leaving you feeling defeated and numb again. Falling back into the kitchen chair. Gaze fixated on the moonlight illuminating the scenery in front of you —mind blank.
Footsteps approach from behind you. You’ve heard the door open and close. You assumed your friend left. But an unknown voice calls to you. "Hey…"
"You can go." You respond instantly; without looking,  waving him away. "Please." Releasing an unintended long sigh. Sinking deeper into the chair. Your gaze fixated on the endless void in front of you.
"I can't." The voice says calm and controlled. "I'm booked for the entire night."
"I don't care." Shrugging your shoulders. "Please just leave me be. Tip yourself on the way out, wallet is in my coat." You just sit there, sulking in your own misery.
It's quiet for a good moment. You guess he's probably still there. Standing a few feet behind you.
“You’re awfully calm for a situation like this.”
"Right…" You chuckle to yourself. “Thanks.”
"Your friend told me." Hearing his footsteps approach instead of fading away, sending you an uneasy feeling down your spine. "It's ok…" You hear him right behind you. “He means well.” Your body jolts up in the chair, as his hands rest upon your shoulders. His hands just rest. Nothing more. Yet you feel every touch of his finger, every point of contact upon your body. A weird sensation. Even more, as his thumbs begin pressing and rolling around the lower part of your neck. Rubbing your skin. Slowly massaging your sore muscles. A sudden involuntary grunt escapes you.  "I know it's difficult."
"I… I don't know if… I…" You try to shake the thought of it out of your mind. It conflicted deeply within you. Yet, his touch. So simple, yet strangely satisfying. A different kind of emotion began to rise. Something that had been locked away, far and deep.
"Please…" He says with subtlety and kindness in his voice. And as he moves past you. The man came into view. Your eyes are somehow captivated by first sight. As he sinks down onto his knees. A thin smile cracked his wistful glance. "It's going to be okay."
He looked so young, yet worn in a way you couldn't put your finger on. A sorrowful face you had never seen. Long, brown curls gracefully tumbled down his head. The contours of his face were absolutely stunningly shaped. The thin lips and sharp jawline. A work of art. A little imperfection on his right brow. Small hairs rebelling against the flow. Yet his face drained with a gaunt stare. The eyes didn't fool you. Set deep into his face. Small and brown, caramel-like of color. They showed little signs of life left in them. Hollow. Like a flame died out long ago. A spark long lost. A view into the past what once used to be. It lost its touch. It’s humanity...
Yet, somehow you feel magically drawn to those sorrowful and silent features. Most fascinating, almost hypnotizing. The moment of eye contact was unexpected long. His touch sending you back reality.
With both his hand on your inner thigh, slowly rubbing his way upwards. The touch of his fingers sends shudders through your systems. They felt so warm. You close your eyes for a moment, shielding your crotch. A moment of insecurity. You couldn't do this. This feeling. Your body, its sending signals you haven't felt in ages. "I… I… don't think I'm ready for this, I'm sorry…"
“I get that.” He says, while with one hand lifting your chin. You feel his soft fingers on your cheek. The first touch of a man in months. Your heart flutters excitingly.  And before you open your eyes to meet his. His lips tenderly grace yours. For a brief moment, they join each other. Soft as a cushion, and so warm. It happens quickly. But you want it to last forever. As he disconnects, his dark brown eyes stare at you with compassion. "Your body is, though." He smiles thinly, interlacing his fingers with yours. Gently rubbing down onto your growing bulge.
“W-Wh …” You stutter and try to protest. But your hands pull back slowly, bit by bit.
He seats himself back on the floor, spreading your legs apart. Positioning himself closer. With care, he begins to remove your belt. Halting at the first button of your pants. "Try to relax."
You hesitantly look on. As the zipper opens up. Latching both fingers on the band of your underwear, he slowly pulls in down. Removing your pants, revealing your member, semi-hard. Waiting for the action.
Leaning forward, he tilts his head and slowly begins working. One simple touch and you were gone. This soft, warm tongue, stroking gently along your length. In a matter of seconds, it's standing full mast. Wrapping his fingers along the base, he continues at a slow pace. Meanwhile, your heart was beating like crazy against your ribcage. You're breathing fastened and irregular.
“W-What’s your name?” You interrupt. His eyes connect with yours as he looks up through his laces. But doesn’t respond. “P-Please…” You whimper softly.
He stops, holding your length in one hand. “I’m Tom.” Wetting his lips as he watches you struggle. “You doing alright?”
You nod quickly, struggling to get your words out. Swallowing the lump in your throat. “T-T-T…om”
But before you manage to utter another word. He brings his tongue in contact with your tip. Keeping eye contact with you. With a few simple licks, slicking it wet with his saliva. The sensation of his tongue working his way round and round your tip was tantalizing. But the sudden, slide of your tip past his lips and down into his mouth was heavenly. Your body tenses up, hip bucking into his grasp. Moaning his name in response. With your hands clamped to the side of the chair, your fingers digging deep into the wood. Turning your knuckles white, the muscles in your arm cramping up as you can't hold up. You shudder from pure bliss. Only a few strokes up and down with his hands combined with his mouth made you groan deeper and deeper.
Your eyes widen as he suddenly stops. He rises to his feet, keeps his gaze at you, and with both hands lifting the hoodie over his head. And as the hoodie came off, your eyes hunger for every bit of exposed skin you could possibly find. Giving you a glimpse of a well-trained body. A sneak-peek of a six-pack. Broad shoulders, pecks shining through the shirt. Leaving a much revealing, loosely hanging shirt on his figure. But you feel somewhat caught the moment you get eye contact with him again. His expression was painful to watch. You could almost sense his disappointment. His misery. It's only then you realize the shame. The realization hits you that you view him as an object. As lust.
"It's ok." Seeing his eyes soften before you, followed by a small smile.
But it's only a split second before he's back at you again. You can't help but peak past his face down into his shirt. Past his collarbone, onto his muscular torso. God…
You snap back to reality, feeling his hand reach for yours. Pulling it from your side. "Hold my hair."
 "W-What…?"
"Fuck my throat." Sliding his mouth over your member again. Slowly picking up pace. "Go on." He gurgles. Keeping eye contact the whole time.
“Why are you doing this, Tom?” You ask with a slight tone of disappointment. "You seem so out of place." Lifting his face from your member. "Terribly out of place."
"Please don't (Y/N)." The mention of your name makes you blush.
"No, Tom. This isn’t right." You point at his shirt. “Let me look at you.”
"Wha…-" He sighs, hanging his head down in shame. "No, please don't."
"Tom, I mean no wrong." You couldn’t help yourself. You could foreshadow what was beneath that shirt. Being in that sort of business took its toll. You caught a glimpse of it when he got rid of his hoodie.
His gaze was stuck to the floor for a moment. Contemplating on his actions. Before taking to his feet. Slow and defeated. Averting your gaze before turning around. With crossed arms, he takes the corners of his shirt. And pulls it over his head. Waiting for your reaction. You swallow the lump in your throat once again. Seeing the small spots of discolored skin on his back. The bruises. Some larger than the other. Some bright red, the others darkened. The words stock in your throat, feeling the tears well in your eyes. The thought of him suffering by the hands of others made you sick. The poor thing.
You rise to your feet, closing the distance between you and him. Gracing your fingers on the bruises. “Do they… hurt you?” Tracing your fingers down his side. Partly feeling the muscles under your fingers. But the fact that he didn’t answer your question made you more than worried.
“Promise me one thing, (Y/N)…” He stops your hand from trailing along the side of his figure. Resting his hand on yours. He’s glowing. Warm to the touch. You can’t help but close the distance. Placing your other hand on his hip.
With a thin smile, he turns around. Your eyes take in every inch, from his pecs to his abs. A breathtaking body stood in front of you. Strong and masculine. But not too big. "God…" You awe. "You're g-gorgeous-..." Your throat falls dry at the sight. You feel flutters deep down. “I… I’m sorry.”
 “It’s okay.”
Small bruises dotted down his side. Dark from color, pain from long ago. "Tom…" You mutter worryingly. All the time you awed at his body, he averted his eyes. Looking aside. You now understand why. As your eyes sink lower and lower. You spot the bulge in his pants. Impossible to hide. "Are you…" Not finishing your question because of the obvious. The red rushing to his cheeks.
He still nods in acknowledgment. "I…I… never had this happen before.”
“Do you…” A finger on your lips silences your words. Stepping very close to you, spotting his watery eyes up close.
"Yes! Yes, I do!" He confessed, with tears welling in the corner of his eyes. Shaking as he struggles to get his words out. "But promise me…that when…” His nostrils flaring. “-This will never work (Y/N)…" Smashing his lips into yours. You didn’t want to listen to his words. None of it. His arms reach around you, pulling you in. Wrapping your own around him, feeling every part of his skin. Pressed tight against him. Ripping the remaining clothes off your body. You just wanted to feel that perfect body. And so did he, roving his hands all over yours.
Every kiss has a raw intensity. There’s just too much skin and too few hands and tongues to worship it all. Both your bodies collide against each other completely naked. His firm and rigid cock pressing against your skin. It glides through your hand as wet as it can be. Tom jerking you off at the same time. Moans and grunts fill the room. Tom’s member too slippery to even get a hold of. The sight of it makes you weak in the knees. The chair behind you topples over from your vicious play. As you stumble out of the kitchen. Against the doorpost, over the couch. Towards the bedroom.
Together you fall onto the mattress. Rolling back and forth. An intense play of hands and lips. Dry humping against each other. You both can't get enough of each other. His lips kissing every inch of skin. Forcing his weight onto you, making you lay flat on your back. He arches back, and sensually starts grinding his pelvis onto yours. Rubbing your balls and cock together into a soaking wet mess. He must have done this hundreds of times. It looked so smooth and sensual. Moaning softly as he held both of your members together. With gentle hands, but a firm grasp nonetheless. Thrusting both cocks through his hand. His fingers teasing the ridges along the lengths. Spreading the pre-cum with the pad of his thumb. Looking at his face, he's so concentrated that you once again get caught staring at him.
Both moaning, the air is thick of pheromones, the smell seeping into your mind. Both wanting it badly. As he locks eyes again, he smoothly reaches round with one hand. He seemed really flexible, propped on his knees. Arching backward as he lifts his ass up, guiding your tip to his entrance. A slight resistance gave way, allowing you to slide far and deep into him. The moment you sheath yourself into him deeper and deeper, you watch on as he shudders. Contorting his face. Both hands cling to your chest. With both his hands resting on your torso, the fingers dig deep and hard into your skin. Feeling his shaking and shuddering throughout your body. He closes his eyes for a moment, moaning your name in pleasure. And sinks further forwards to your chest. Panting heavily. After regaining himself, he adjusts his hands on your shoulder. And locks lips with yours. "Y-You… f-feel amazing." Moaning into the kiss. The praise turning you on immensely. Growing impossibly large inside of him.
And so he slowly begins grinding his hips back and forth with your shaft deep inside him. Feeling yourself widen him further and further. Tom’s moans become long and raw. Sitting up straight again, he takes one hand and forces your cock deeper into him. Reaching further and deeper. While trying to clench his cheeks around you. Hitting different and deeper spots. The sudden increase in pressure and warmth were becoming too much. Not only for you. You see Tom's mouth fall open, gasping for air, his eyes shut tight from ecstasy. His other hand caresses the skin of his neck.
Your grunts become shorter and shallow. You’re a lost cause. Your mind is blank, completely lost at the sexual pleasure coursing through your body. Racing towards your climax. Both hands clinging to his hips, but your strength wasn’t helping much.
Tom could feel it coming. Your balls churn. A pent up force, craving to be released. And all it takes is a look into each other’s eyes for you to fill him up. And before you tip the point of no return. He picks up the pace. Making sure to milk every drop by clenching his cheeks harder on you. A loud gasp follows. Shuddering your body to the very core. Your hands dig deep into the side of his hips. The splashing inside is intense as you cum, spilling all over. And Tom just keeps riding. Until you just turn limb. Gasping out his name.
"Felt good?" He asks, breathing heavily, watching his chest heave up and down. A smile on his face. You again realize what a beautiful person he was. His body atop of yours, glistening with sweat. And a damn cute smile.
“Out of this world.” You pant, laying your head to rest on the cushion. “You’re incredible.”
"Good." Cupping your cheeks with both hands and kissing you. The smile on his face was larger than you'd ever seen. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." You notice a sudden sparkle flaring in his eyes. Something igniting deep within.
"How about you…?" Eyeing his erection. "You didn't blow your load." Wrapping your arms around his neck. Pulling him towards you for a slow and passionate kiss.
"Don't you worry, I did enjoy it very much." He smiled. "More then I should." Pushing strands of hair from your forehead. "I was close…" He confesses softly.
"Then why didn't you keep going?"
"Because that would hurt you…" He blushed.
 "How?"
"You can't just keep going if you blow your load. At first, it's really sensitive, but then it becomes increasingly itchy, to a point it feels like it burns. Quite painful."
You're both lost in each other’s gaze. As he falls beside you, curling up to cuddle. Tom resting on your chest. Your fingers playing with the brown silky smooth curls of his. "What can I do to make you feel good?" You whisper to him.
"You already did." Pressing a soft kiss on your lips. You can't help but notice the way he smiled. It's wholesome. To the point of a complete cuteness.
"Tom, I want you to feel good too." Slowly tracing your fingers up and down his spine. "Because that smile suits you."
"But, I don't want to hurt you (Y/N)." He looks up with a growing expression of worry on his face.
"It won't, Tom." Cupping his cheek. "I want to feel you."
Through all the glistening sweat and wetness on your bodies. You feel his length grow against your thigh. Yourself following along. "Give it to me, baby…" You whisper close to his ear.
Tom helps himself on his knees. His member standing fully erect, ready for you. A jolt of excitement shoots through you at the sight. It's been forever since you've been pleasured since your break up. Something you actually look forward to now. So you roll onto your knees. "Wait…" You look back at Tom. "Turn over."
On your back again, eager and waiting, Tom takes you by the hips. Reeling you in. Positioning himself behind you. And turns you on your side.  “This is most comfortable for you.” Kneading your ass cheeks with gentle hands. Captivated by your hole. “Alright?”
You can’t help but chuckle at his carefulness. How soft and tenderly he was approaching you. Putting a cushion under your hips. Rearranging the sheets. Therefore receiving a semi frowned questioning look from Tom.
“Sweety, I know what you’re going to do.” You give him a reassuring smile. “I’m ready.”
“Trust me, if you do it wrong, it’ll hurt like hell.” Giving you a little kiss. “I wouldn’t want that to happen.” You stare at each other for half a second. You draw a deep breath, dizzy with anticipation.
He moves one leg aside, revealing your entrance. A little gasp of excitement leaves, as you feel his tip slowly slide at your hole. “Please tell me if it hurts.” He asks. You nod eagerly. His hands grip onto your hips, the pressure on your entrance increasing. You lick your lips and suck in another deep breath.  You stifle a groan as you feel your sphincter grip the head of his cock. You’re legs feel numb. You close your eyes, overwhelmed by the feeling, releasing a silent moan.
He holds the moment your face contorts even the slightest, waiting for you to adjust. Slowly accepting his length. Every inch he enters you, you hear his grunts become heavier. Your warmth and light wetness guiding him deeper. “Y-You’re tight.” He moans, trying to regain this breath. “Fuck…” Wiping the sweat from his face.
Your dick is throbbing, there was no other way to describe it. Pressed against the sheets. No stimulation but only the motion of his thrusts. Stimulated by his presence. His looks. His thrusts. You're breathless, staring at his physique. He is masculine, but not too much. So complete. The view of his muscles tensing and relaxing. Utterly mesmerizing to watch. Even as he begins to move back and forth. Sweat breaks out all over your body at the first couple of thrusts. Very slow and lovingly.
Stretching your further as he goes in. His breathing slow and ragged. He pushed deep. Reaching far inside you. Warming places you didn’t know you had. The feeling of his dick fully inside you was driving you to the point of an unexpected climax already. The rigidness of his cock, rubbing your insides. Making you shudder to your very core while praising his name. Your cock already leaking on the sheets.
The pressure inside you rising faster than ever before. It’s impossible to think straight, his pace was slow and passionate. Yet, you only feel his cock hitting your insides. You grip your sheets, whimpering uncontrollably. You only manage to utter his name, squirming under his pressure. The cum just starts pouring out of you, uncontrollable amounts soaking the already wet area. Tom follows up with another thrust, making you squirt even further. You moan long and hard, feeling your entire body shudder from the release. “Holy s-shit… Tom.” You sputter.
As you open your eyes, you watch Tom hunched forward. Panting heavily. Eyes clenched shut. "Tom…?" You ask. He holds his hand up to you. Signaling you to wait. After he regains himself again, he positions himself further above you. You hear his hot ragged breath, tightly hugging his hips against your ass cheeks. Cock buried deep inside you. “F-Fuck, (Y/N)…” He grunts. “That was hot…”
He takes a moment to gather himself again. You do the same. Catching your breath and calming your senses. You wait for Tom to move again.  Before he does, he starts to pepper your body with wet, hot kisses. Moaning your name softly as he begins to roll his hips.
Goosebumps shoot across your skin at the mention of your name. A sudden yelp escapes your lips, grabbing his attention immediately. To your surprise, you feel a moist sensation touching your cock. You gaze at your member, while it hardens without touch. Only by a few thrusts from his shaft.
“Shit…” He grunts as he wraps his fingers around your length. An awkward position, but he manages. Stroking your cock, coated by your own cum, slow and steady. Completely captivated by it. You sense it's turning him on immensely, as you feel him thicken inside you.
You release a silent moan as your mouth falls open. Feeling his girth stretch you even further. The ridges rubbing you in unexpected ways. After a few strokes, he loses his grip, licking the wetness from his fingers, one by one. You watch as he sucks each of his fingers dry in his mouth. “Fuckin’ hell...” He groans. “That’s really good." Leaning in, he lands his lips on yours. "I'm getting close, baby." He moans into the kiss.
“Go for it.” You whisper into his ear. Holding him close. “Blow your load for me.” As he picks up pace. Desperate for release. His cock feeling incredibly hard inside you. Swelling even further at the mention of your dirty talk. “Blow it all inside me.”
He grunts deep and hard into your ear. Rolling his hips faster and faster into you. “C’mon, baby.” You encourage him. Feeling his cock grow inside you. His breathing quickens, as does his momentum. Rutting into you faster than before. Not relentlessly, but with a comfortable pace.
Already widened and stretched from before, you feel his cock hitting you deep again. Each time he hits your thrust back, hitting that same spot, you feel the sensation ache in your cock. Twitching from pleasure. “R-Right there, Tom.” You gasp again.
He shoots a look at you, realization hitting him that you’re getting close again. “Keep going.” You moan out loud. Not a moment later, you feel him pulse inside you. With a cry, he thrust once more, deep and hard into you. You lift your ass to meet his thrust, his balls slap against your skin. The splashing inside you as he cums is so intense that you feel it spilling down your cheeks. Your mind goes blank. Watching him pump load after load into you. Your cock twitches, barely holding on. As your insides were coated.
He just pulls out, like a plug of a bathtub. You gasp of relief, feeling the wetness seep outwards.  Drops of wetness fly from his still erect member as it bounces upward. Giving a quick tug on your legs, so you end on your back again. Spreading your legs.
You’re out of breath for a moment. Not sure what he was going to do. Watching your own dick spring back into view again. All wet and swollen. With force, he pulls you to the side of the bed and kneels down. His fingers wrap around your member. As he suddenly starts suckling on your balls. It's strange ticklish feeling at first, but combined with his firm grasp on your length, and strokes, it became more than that. Your balls begin to churn. Gripping the sheets around you, your head falls back onto the mattress, overwhelmed by this quick handling.
“T-Tom!” You cry out. “God!” You plant both your feet on the mattress. You shut your eyes tight, pressing your head back into the mattress, thrusting your hips into his grasp. But he doesn’t slow down.
“Tom!” You burst out, not only in words. Your eyes widen, gasping out loud as he rubs down hard on your shaft. Cum jets from your swollen cock. Stroking you hard, milking every last possible drop.
 It's only hazy from thereon…
You’re not sure if you passed out, but it felt like you sprayed the ceiling with your load. The next moment you open your eyes, you find Tom cuddled up against you. Just some sheets covering a few parts. “Did I pass out or…?”
“You didn’t.” He chuckles, looking up at you with a smile on his face. “You dozed off very shortly after. I don’t blame you.” He sniffles while tracing a finger up and down your chest. You wrap your arm around him. Just living in the moment. "I'm so happy, your friend picked me." He whispered to you. That comment stuck with you.
"Thank you, Tom." Pressing your lips on his forehead, tasting a taint of salt. Picking a few strands of hair from his forehead. Cuddling together in the safe comfort of each other. The sharing of interests you had in common. Followed by simple chatter about the things in life. Making each other laugh. Having a good time. For once, in a very long time, you felt whole again. His smile. His presence, something felt right. Something clicked.
And it's that sort of thing you just can’t get enough of. Your eyes are glued to him. The heat rising in your system. That flutter in your stomach. It hurts. In a good way. He is everything you ever wanted in a man.
 You love him.
All cuddled up against each other, it falls to you how sticky everything actually really his. His skin glistening with sweat and wetness.
“How about we freshen up?” Rustling your fingers through his curls. “Shower is big enough for both of us.”
“Good idea.” His lips meeting yours in agreement. "I'll gladly join you."
Being close to together, naked, warm water, and soap. Things get heated again. You don't know how long you been in the shower. And you don't mind. Because for the time, you felt the rush of living again. Being alive. Receiving praise. Kind words whispered into your ear.
No denying that his smile was infectious. A smile that wouldn't disappear, you noticed. Tom was a whole different person to the one that stepped in earlier tonight. Deep down, you could feel that this version of him was the real him. Loving, caring, passionate.
And no matter how dangerous shower sex was told to be. You did it. And more. Memories burned into your mind forever.
You take a moment longer to rinse off the sweat and wetness under the steaming hot water. Recollecting those wonderful moments again. Tom already out. You can't seem to shake your smile. This was right. This is how life should be.
Turning into the bedroom with your towel wrapped around your waist, your smile drops immediately. "Where you going?" He hastily pushes his phone back into his pocket. Tom was already dressed, ready to put on his jacket.
"I have to go." He mumbled, avoiding your gaze. His smile nowhere to be seen.
"Please, just stay."  This moment was bound to happen. But you weren’t going to give in. You’ve seen enough people leave through that door. "Stay with me."
"I… I… can't… I need to go." Checking the time on his phone.
"You don't have to do this, you know. I can-" But midsentence, you're cut off.
"Don’t… (Y/N).” His voice skips a beat. You’re pretty sure you could see tears welling in his eyes. You have to fight to keep them back as well. “P-Please…” He stutters, rubbing his eyes with the palm of his hand. “Don’t make this harder than it already is."
"Tom, it's doesn't have to be this way."
"I warned you. It can't be helped." He sobbed. An hour ago, the man standing in front of you was majestic, beautiful, and full of life. What remained now was nothing of that. Hunched shoulders and hands stuffed into his pockets. Eyes wet from tears.
 "I'll take a chance."
"Please, stay out of it. Just leave me be. Forget about me."
"Oh no, I can't. Not in a million years. I'll get you out whatever shithole you got yourself into." You’re just glad he didn’t walk right out. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to follow him. Something was holding him back.
"It's not worth it. It can't be fixed."
 "Everything takes time to heal."
"Not me, not me." He snickers. “I… I need to go.”
You rush to your drawers, pulling fresh clothes out as fast as you can. "Wait, I'll bring you wherever you're going."
"You'll get into trouble if they see you."
"I don't care." You quip while jumping into a pair of pants.
"But I do!" He cries. “I do!”
"The feeling is mutual." You growled. With your shoes and jacket on, you interlace fingers with his. Dragging him outside. And as you open the door, the pizza delivery shows up. “P-… Pizza delivery?” The man hesitates, looking at the both of you weirded out. “Here.” You shove a bill of cash into his hands. "Now, go!" He instantly rushes off onto the street. With screeching tires, the little scooter darts back up the road. In a big arch, you toss the pizza inside, cheese, and all flying everywhere before you close the door behind you.
The car ride was uneasy, to say the least. No music. Only darkness and the rain hitting the windshield. Sometimes a finger, pointing you in the right direction. You appeared mad. To say you weren't was a misconception. But not at him. And what kind of music was even appropriate at that moment? Your mind was conflicted. You could just drive the opposite direction. Away from it all. He would be save.
 Would he?
You couldn’t judge if you didn’t know where he was living. What if they came after him? That would endanger you as well. No, this required a different approach. This needed planning. God, you were in a state to do anything.
Breath in, breath out. Calm yourself down.
  Hope.
Was it misplaced hope
?
 Hope for a happy ending.
But hope is the worst of all evils, for it prolongs the torment of men. Words from an old book. Spoken by wise old men as they say. But in the end, the truth runs from the first to the very last word. How naive could you be? Deep down, you knew this was impossible. His words spoken earlier that evening kept circling in the back of your mind. Yet, you cling to that glimmer of hope. Those words in the shower. Those moments together. This couldn't be it?
 You hoped not.
“Stop here.” He says. “It’s down that alley.” Pointing to a small flickering light in the distance. You could only get a glimpse as the windscreen wipers came by to clear the pouring rain from your window. You spot the outline of a figure standing there. "Turn around the moment I enter that alley. Don't come near.”
“I need your number.” Pulling out your phone. But he had already opened the door. “Tom!” You hissed, leaning over to passenger’s seat. Barely in time to get a hold of his arm. “How can I find you?” The wind and rain washing into the car. You have to blink once or twice to keep the rain out of your eyes. “Tom?!”
 “T-Thank you for tonight, (Y/N).”
"No! Tom!" Tears welling in the corner of your eyes. Awkwardly constrained by your seatbelt, struggling to get a firm grasp on his hand. "Don't do this!" Your fingers begin to lose their grip on his hand, the rain hitting you relentlessly. This sting of pain. You felt this moment before. Slowly slipping away from your fingers. "Not like this!"
"I'm so sorry…" And with a tug, he pulls his arm free, slamming the door into your face.
You scream from the top of your lungs. Tears rolling down your cheek, you fumble with the seatbelt. But it won't open. Tears cloud your vision, anger raging from deep within. Forcing you to watch him run through the rain towards that accursed alley. You let your fury loose on anything in range. Until you're deprived of energy. Resting your forehead against the steering wheel. Watching the tears fall from your cheeks. You lost.
A knock on your window makes you jump. “G-Hello?” A thick accent calls out to you. Your eyes spot the contours of a man. His face closing in on the window. His features unpleasant to the eye, looking like a common fugitive. Not with the best intention. "You zhould not be ghere.”
So many things raced through your mind. You could just mash the door against his burly, ugly set face. Giving you an advantage to whatever came next. But… What would you achieve with that?
You nod quickly and steer your car the way you came. Driving around mindlessly. Gaze fixated on the horizon.
It’s been minutes, hours, and days. They’re as grueling as you could possibly imagine. Tormented by your own thoughts. How could you save Tom? You couldn't admit to yourself that you actually knew nothing. There's only a location. That's all.
Taking a few days off only makes it worse. Sleep doesn’t come at all. Falling back on drinking makes no difference. It only forces out the anger. Until the tipping point of intoxicating takes over your senses.
Until your eyes spot the flyer, you’re hands tremble as you gaze on the picture of Tom. In all fairness, there wasn’t even a name mentioned. Only a number, like a damn menu. You scramble for your phone, shaking with nervousness. It takes a moment for the number to connect, until you hear a lady’s voice call out the name of the business.
“Ehm… Hello, I… want Tom, p-please." You stutter, sweat breaking out across your body. While your fingers play with the edges of the picture. Gaze stuck on the picture of Tom. It remains silent on the other end of the line.
“He doesn’t work here.” That single comment makes your blood boil. The thought that some filthy businessman groping him was sickening.
 “I meant number 26.”
“I don’t know either. Anyone else?”
“JUST GIVE ME FUCKING TOM!” You scream from the top of your lungs. “How hard can it be!”
"I'm afraid I can't help you, sir." And the line disconnects. You're fumingly mad. Realizing your failure.  Gritting your teeth, you barely able to control yourself. Your thoughts sink deeper, and deeper in desperation. You could pull each and every single hair out of your skull out of frustration. Kicking chairs over and destroying stuff didn't satisfy in any way. Only the pain halted you momentarily. This couldn't be the end. You wouldn't let it end this way. You can't.
 You can’t let him go.
  - - - - -
From around the corner, you watch the alleyway. It’s been days. You thought this through countless times. Overthinking is what they call it. Days on end. If Tom was there, you needed to take a shot. You have to do something. What else is there to live for anyway? That is one way to boost your morale you chuckle to yourself. You take one last sip from the bottle before putting in back in your car. Releasing a hiss as the strong liquor burns its way down your throat. In a weird way, it makes your head clearer. Calms the nerves. Brings peace to your mind. Boosts your confidence. If only for this moment. You double-check the surroundings. Everything's in place.
With confidence in your step, you lock your car around the corner and make your way down the street. You straighten your collars before sheathing them in the pockets of your jacket.  It takes quite a few steps to get there. The man on the corner of the alleyway can’t help but notice you. Trying casually to walk towards you. And as you approach the man, you notice he’s definitely one size larger than you. It surely wasn't the man that warned you in your car. This one had a more pleasant and kinder look to him. "G-Hey you…" He nods at you. "You ghot businez here?” Speaking with the same Eastern European accent as the other.
You halt in front of him. Taking a moment to answer him, trying to keep your nerves in check. While looking calm at the same time. “I’m here for this.” Revealing the flyer from your pocket. “Is the manager in?”
“Da, but why zhould I let you through?”
You sigh with discontent. Revealing a stack of money from your pocket. "Here." Handing him twenty or so bills. "Don't bother me anymore." And take the gamble by walking past him. You hear a whistle behind you. Just as you are about to turn into the dim-lit alleyway, another man halts you. An impressively large man. You weren’t small either. But he towered over you, by far.
“Got any on ya?” Surprisingly, this man wasn’t Eastern European looking or sounding at all. Holding your hands up beside you, you shake no. But the man still searches you. Keeping an eye on you at all costs. Mumbling to himself a few things. "Follow me."
Through the dark passage, you’re led towards a metal door. Only a dim light above it shows the entrance. The rest is barely visible. The man engages the locking mechanism and opens the door. Through a series of corridors and stairs, you get the impression of this operation. A series of rooms, followed by cells. Giving you an inside look of how dilapidated and horrifying the building actually is. Your worst nightmare just becomes a reality. It's beyond belief how Tom managed to survive in these conditions.
You try to keep your gaze fixated on the man in front of you as you follow him. But you desperately hope to see Tom here somewhere. What if you don't get out of here… alive? You draw a deep breath and focus on what’s next. A sudden halt at a room, makes you jump a little. “In here.” Pointing inward to an older lady behind a desk. "Make your request." He grunts, crossing his arms as several other people in the room watching you enter.
“How can I help you, sir?” The woman kindly asks you. You recognize her voice from the phone earlier this week.
“Alright.” You say, unimpressed. “Cut the middleman.” Turning around to the large man. “Bring me to the manager.” His gaze far from friendly. From the corner of your eyes, you see the nearby, you guess guards, take a step closer. Some whispering to each other. As the large man takes a few steps towards you. Ending up so close to you, he’s literally looking down on you. The smell of smoke and sweat hinted at your nostrils. His warm, foul breath fanning onto your hair.
“Why should we… little one?” He growled demeaningly. Not a smile in sight. “You walk into here with loads of cash, and demand to see the manager. What is so important you have that you need to see the manager?” Crackling his knuckles close to your face. His hands were large, fingers short but fatty. Stained by all kinds of things you rather wouldn’t know about. “For all I know, you were never here, to begin with…”
“Excellent threat." You sniffle, revealing a stack from your pocket. As you do in the process, you hear guns being cocked. "Here." Stuffing the stack into his pocket. “Problem is, my burly friend…” You gaze up to him, forcing a grin on your face.  “I didn’t wander in here unprepared. You see, If I don’t return within… let’s say… the next two hours-…” Letting the moment sink in. Eyeing the people in the room. Everyone eager listening in on your little conversation. “-shits going down.”
“What did you call me?” His hand resting upon your shoulder, leaning down.
“Do you call the shots for your boss?” You tilt your head slightly. Looking at him with a playful smile. “I don’t think he’ll appreciate the news I have regarding his ratline from Europe.”
The man looks past you, nodding to the lady behind the desk. Returning his gaze to you.
"Not willing to take the risk, hmmm?" You joke. Behind your back, you hear several whispers. The eyes of the man shot back and forth between the lady and you. Before pushing you down the hallway again. Again leading you through some corridors, down the staircase. Ending up in a luxurious room.
Behind a desk sat a figure, so bulbous and fat, you’d never seen anything alike. Gold rings on his meaty fingers. The room decorated in some sort of Russian style. The left wall accommodating a series of monitors. Probably surveillance. But as you keep your eyes longer on the screens, you see the prostitutes. Man and women. You try to keep a straight face. “I heard interesting things about you, young man…” The blob of a man behind the desk mutters.
“I always thought Russians started with a drink, before doing business.” Keeping a straight face.
The flesh of its body bounces and flays around as it laughs loudly. Signaling the large man to pour the glasses. He couldn’t even do it himself anymore, his fat little arms limiting his movement. “Nasdrovia!” You both cheer and cling the glasses, chucking the content.
“Let’s talk business.” The man says with a thick voice.
"I have intel, concerning the safety of your cargo." You glance over to the guards. "Can we get the room to us.” Looking at the Russian for a confirmation.
"Give him a minute." He waves at you with his fat fingers. "Continue." The large man that led you here hesitates. Keeping his eyes on you. "Go!" The Russian shouts again, waiting for the door to close.
You take a deep breath. And focus on the conversation. The details are important. Focus.
“You need to relocate within the next… 24 hours.” Checking your watch. “They’re on to you.”
“How do you know?” He burst out laughing. “Do you have any evidence? Because my business is at an all-time high. My man and woman are booked like never before. I even have a new shipment comin-”
"Container #556121 on the SSE Georgia has been snitched." You say with a reassuring tone. "Go ahead. Tell me if I'm wrong." He has a distrusting look on his face, hesitant to believe you. But still goes ahead to unlock his drawer, revealing a sort of book and a laptop.
Bluff. Neither the name of the ship or the number was anything close to what you were supposed to say. Through all the nerves, you just made something up. You just simply couldn't remember what the police told you. Your heart pounded in your chest. It's now or never. Everything depended on the next few minutes. On that little wire, you were carrying. The strength of your arms. Your will. And above all, the speed of the police. Your fingers tremble as you grab your watch. It's bound to happen at any moment.
What happened next went so fast. It's all a blur. One distant gunshot set off a chain reaction. You jump over the desk as the door behind you swings open, blood splatters all across. The razor-thin wire detaches from your watch, and you swing it around the neck of the bulbous man. His fat little arms couldn’t reach around. Shielding behind his humongous chair and body, you restrain him. You watch the bullet impacts on the wall near you as the guard curses loudly. The fat man’s arms flap around.  “Tell me about Tom, you fat fuck!” You shout. “I need to know!” Tightening the wire. With your “Where is he!?” Bashing his head from behind. “WHERE IS HE?!”
The man fights and struggles heavily, barely able to breathe—coughing and desperate for air. The giant oak chair the man sat in, shook and trembled on the floor by the man's panicking movements. Screeching back and forth. His spasming legs hit the desk to the floor. Sending loads of stuff flying. The man points his finger to the guard. “K-K-Kill T…Tom!” He gurgles to the guard. The words reach your ears moments later, processing what the man just said. You panic as the guards suddenly darts off, grabbing his phone.
“Noooooo!” Storming off towards the door, fueled by rage. Blinded by anger. Falling over several items on the floor. You regain your footing and continue to run towards the door. Turning the corner without a second thought.
A bright flash. A high pitched noise. A ringing in your ear. A wince of pain, tearing into you, forcing every thought out of your mind, paralyzing your body. Only by a deep groan. Your eyes are blurry, your vision doubles as you stagger on your feet. Trying to blink it away didn’t help. You feel the pain worsen. Deepen. Sharp pain lances at your abdomen. Another flash close by. Jerking your body around.  Excruciating pain. It all happens with such force. It sends you stumbling backward. Your hands reach for the doorpost, trying to remain afoot. Holding on for life. But strength ebbs away. Your limbs feel numb. Fingers shaking, losing its grip. Slumping down to the floor, onto your knees. Everything hurt. Sharp, deep, unstoppable pain. Each exhale of breath stings your insides. Chocking the breath from your lungs. Your vision blurs, slowly turning red—darkness pressing in.
But it wasn’t your vision turning red. It’s the pool of crimson red blood forming under your hands. Warming your pale, cold hands, oozing from your wounds. Panic hits. You’re short of breath, experiencing extreme difficulty with breathing. The cold gripping you. Your words strangled by the welling of warm blood, filling your throat. “T-Tom…” You manage to bring out in faltering gasps. Draining the last bit of energy left in you. “T...o...m…” Before your arms give in. Your head slamming against the crimson tainted concrete.
 Then silence.
 Silence.
 …
 …
 ...
 Is death near?
 …
 …
 ...
That ringing noise in your ear. Coming closer.  Your head felt heavy and painful. As you slowly regain consciousness. You blink a couple of times to readjust to the intense light blinding your eyes. After a moment, you notice the light that shines in your eyes are rays of sunlight. Your try uttering a few words. But your throat was as dry as the desert, and rough like sandpaper. Forcing out an awful cough. "Am... I in heaven?" Your voice sounding croaked and harsh. Followed by another coughing fit. Your lungs hurt. A sharp pain lancing in your chest. Contorting your insides. Everything hurts. Each movement you made, your bones and muscles ache in response.
“Sir?” A calming voice of a woman called to you. “Sir, how are you feeling?”
“Terrible.” You cough, struggling to breathe. “Where am I?”
“The hospital.” A young woman in nursery clothing showed up in your field of view. “You’re in good hands.” Everything looked pale white. Painfully white to the eyes. “You’re going to be fine.”
You have difficulty in paying attention to her. Your vision doubles, sound dissipates. She was trying to say something, but you couldn’t follow it.
“The man that saved you is here.” Shaking your arm. "Sir..." Trying to keep you from passing out. "Look.” Helping you up. Your eyes slowly adjusting to the light, taking in the room. Loads of flowers decorated the space. Accompanied by colorful cards on the wall. “He stayed by your side the moment you came in. We could-"
Her words fall to deaf ears. You couldn't believe your eyes. Blinking repeatedly. You try to sharpen the image. The tears welling in your eyes, not helping a bit.
“This is heaven.” You mumble. The woman stops and looks at you. Giggling at your comment. Sitting there beside you, resting his head against the side of your bed. Eyes shut, snoring softly with his coat wrapped around him. "T-To…m…"  You try to say, falling into a terrible cough.
He jumps a little in his seat by the touch of the nurse. Rubbing the sleepers from his eyes, taking a moment to gather his bearings. But that moment you make eye contact. “(Y/N)!” He cries out. You can’t believe your eyes.
“It’s really you.” You cough while trying to sit up. Tears streaming freely down your cheeks. "T-Tom!"
"I can't believe it!" He snickers. Diving onto you, his arms closing around you, sobbing against your neck. You remain like this for a while. Deep in his embrace. Tears, only tears. But tears of happiness. You couldn’t remember when you experienced those.
“T-Tom…?” You’re afraid to ask but needed to know. “Is… is it over? Is it done? A-Are you free...?”
“Yes…” He nods, wiping the tears from his eyes. "Yes, I am. You did it. It's over." Cupping your cheeks with both hands, kissing you like you never been before. Euphoria. Blessed. Relieved. You feel alive.
“I cried myself to sleep that night (Y/N). Thinking I would never see you again.”
You nod. "I felt so lost without you." Knowing precisely what he meant. "I was so scared, Tom. I… I… thought I… was d-dying." Your body shakes at the thought and recollection of that moment. "It all… happened-d… and… I… I… m-missed you… so m-m-much." The sobs turn into long wails of emotions running freely.
"It's ok." His arms reach around you, hugging your fragile body close to him. Letting all the tears flow freely. Crying in each other’s arms. "We’re going to be fine.”
You hold him close, not ever wanting him to go. Locking eyes with him again. The reality of him beside you was heartwarming. That wonderful smile. It filled you with joy and happiness. But the questions burned at the back of your mind. "The nurse said you were the one who saved me? How…?"
"I found you..." Enveloping your hands in his, pressing kisses to your cold fingers. "-on the floor." His eyes turn red, the tears running down his cheek. Crying for a moment, before he continues.
"A-A-After I heard the first shots close by, everything went so fast. I... saw guards being shot, and I ran… I knew something was wrong. I heard more shots. And… that’s when I turned the corner… I found you..." He weeps. "One moment you were there…" His blood-red eyes look at you with terror. "-the other I realized you were… close to… d-dying in my arms."
You can't help but kiss him, hold him close. Comfort him as he wailed softly.
"Poor thing." The tears rolling down your cheek. “It’s going to better from here on out. I promise, Tom. I promise you.”
"I love you (Y/N)." He whispers. His watery eyes lock with yours. "I love you with all my heart."

Bucky had said that he’d give (y/n) a day at least to get back on her feet in terms of work, but he wasn’t sure exactly how much time she wanted. Was just one enough, or did she need more?
Eight days had passed since he’d left (y/n) at the border and, sappy and cliche as it might be, he missed her. He missed her smile and her laugh and even her sour glares she gave him when he said something stupid (which was often if he was being honest, but he only did it to get those damn glares from her).
He wondered how she was doing without him. Not that she needed him or anything—she was perfectly capable of living on her own—but she had told him she had a lot of work to do and he was curious to see how she was doing. He could only imagine how boring the paperwork was. He’d sat there and watched her do it one day and he nearly fell asleep. He felt so bad for her if that’s what she was stuck doing. Maybe he could rescue her and bring her to the island. Get her some sun. If there was one thing that was good about being in the Mediterranean, it was that it was sunny year-round.
Lying there in the grass under the shade of a tree to shield him from the sweltering sun, Bucky sighed and shut his eyes. He didn’t think it really mattered what (y/n) was doing at that moment and daydreaming about taking her out in the sun wasn’t doing any good.. The fact of the matter was that he missed her and he really wanted to see her. But he had to wait. Delayed gratification always paid out in the end and—
“Hey, Buck!” Sam’s voice called, pulling him from his thoughts. “You’ve got a visitor.”
Bucky groaned, keeping his eyes shut. “Tell my mother I’m sleeping.”
Sam laughed and Bucky felt him sit down beside him. “It’s not your mother. I think you’re going to want to go get them before Steve loses his mind.”
Bucky peeled an eye open and looked over at Sam. “What are you talking about?”
He nodded his head forward. “See for yourself.”
Bucky opened his eyes fully and sat up to look at the clearing. He couldn’t believe his eyes.
Standing in the clearing, talking to Steve, were two women and a large dog. He only just recognized the woman on the left as Peggy, the goddess of magic, but he would’ve known the woman on the right anywhere.
(y/n) was dressed for a sunny day with a pair of loose black shorts hanging from her hips, a dark grey tank top hugging her torso, and a floppy black hat casting shade on her face. Cerberus stood by her side, nearly attached to her hip, as he sniffed Steve’s hand eagerly. (y/n) had her fingers tangled in his fur as she pet him absently, listening to whatever Steve was saying. A kind smile adorned her lips. When Bucky moved, he drew her attention and those striking eyes of hers landed on him. Her smile only widened when she saw him, and she raised her other hand in greeting.
He could only stare at her, his lips parted in awe.
He’d never seen her venture out of the Underworld in the daytime and actually have time to appreciate her in the sun. The only time he’d seen her in the Mortal World like this was when she threw him out the first time. She was beautiful then, but it was a scary beautiful—the kind that came from radiating power and “I’ll kick your ass” energy. But now? She was stunning with the gentle glow that came with familiarity and sincerity. The sun kissed her skin, giving her a lively glow that seemed to send color to her flesh. She looked alive, and Bucky’s breath got caught in his throat.
He was on his feet and making long strides over to the quartet before he knew it.
(y/n)’s eyes never left him and her smile only grew brighter as he approached. “I thought you were going to come back later,” she said, her tone taking on a teasing tone.
A smile to match hers covered Bucky’s face. “Oh, I was, Doll, but I wasn’t sure how much time you’d need to get caught up.”
“Only a day or two. Eight was far too many.” She chuckled. “But time is irrelevant when you live forever.” She turned her gaze from him and looked back up at Steve. “Your friend here was kind enough to fill us in on all your moping over the past few days. Did you really miss me that much?”
“He did,” Steve confirmed, nudging Bucky with his elbow.
Bucky hissed a “Hey” at Steve before rolling his eyes. “He’s exaggerating the whole thing. I was not moping.”
“Mhmm.”
He cleared his throat. “Anyways! Why are you guys up here? I’ve never seen you topside and dressed for,” he gestured vaguely, “leisure.”
(y/n) looked down at Cerberus. “Well, we needed a bit of fresh air, and Cerberus wanted to go on a walk, so we figured we’d pop up for a bit and see you. You’ve been going under for so long that I figured it was my turn to come up and see you.”
Bucky’s heart hammered in his chest. She wanted to come and see him. She left her kingdom to come to him. If that wasn’t dedication, he didn’t know what was. He smiled at her and offered her his hand. “Then shall we give your beloved pup a walk?”
She took it without hesitation and nodded. “Yes.” She turned her head back towards her companion. “Pegs?”
“You go on!” the other woman encouraged. “I’ll be here talking with Steve.” She shot a grin at the blond man, eliciting a blush to rise to his cheeks.
(y/n)’s eyebrows rose in acknowledgment, a smirk playing on her lips. “Alright then. Come on, Buck.” She squeezed his hand and pulled him towards the trees that led out of the clearing.
He followed her, tugging her too. “This way,” he coaxed as he led her through the trees. “I know a good path for walking. Mortals rarely travel it.”
“Perfect.” She let him take the lead.
Cerberus trotted just a bit ahead of them, sniffing down at every little leaf he came across. His tail was wagging rapidly at the excitement of new surroundings. Bucky supposed he hadn’t really seen anything living in, well, ever.
As if thinking the same thing, (y/n) giggled at her dog. “He doesn’t get out much,” she admitted sheepishly. “He’s a busy dog.”
“Oh, I bet.” Bucky hummed and pulled her closer as they emerged from the trees onto the vacant path. “I still can’t believe you came up here.”
“Honestly? Me neither.” She looked down. “But I needed a small break. Things in the Underworld… Well, they’re not looking too hot right now.”
He frowned and ducked his head to see her. “How do you mean?”
Her lips had formed a thin line as she looked ahead. “Kronos’ cage is… It was weakened. Like, so weak he could’ve broken out at any moment.”
Bucky’s brow furrowed. “I thought that you went down every week to—”
“I did. We think that someone might’ve tampered with it. Our leading hypothesis is titans, but everyone’s been accounted for.” She growled under her breath and her hand squeezed his with frustration. “But we’ve quadrupled up on security and have spent countless hours strengthening the cage. Everyone is doing their best. Even my sisters have come down to help. At this rate, it looks like we’ll be back to normal within days and we can put this whole thing behind us as a fluke. But it’s just been so hectic down there and I needed a break.”
“So you came to me?”
“Exactly.” She rubbed small circles on the back of his hand with her thumb. “I feel calm with you, Buck. So when I needed a break to just chill out, the only place that came to my mind was by your side.” She shrugged as if it was no big deal, but the words made Bucky’s heart pound.
He cleared his throat and his eyes darted down to her. He was glad that he could put her at ease, and he thought to himself that he could help her by breaking the tension with a bit of comedic relief. So, with a teasing grin on his face, he asked, “Do you wear anything other than black?”
Her head snapped up to him, and she stared at him. “Pardon?”
He gestured at her outfit. “Screw me, I’m trying to make conversation and lighten the mood. You’re stressed.” He cleared his throat. “Anyways! I only see you in black. Do you wear anything else?”
A skeptical smile crossed her lips, but she answered him, “Yes. Sometimes I wear greys or reds.”
“So only gloomy colors?”
“I suppose.” Her smile gave way to an amused chuckle.
“What about a nice yellow? I think you could pull off yellow.”
Her chuckle turned into a full roar of laughter. “Yellow! Bucky, the day I wear yellow will be the day I die.”
“So never. After all, gods can’t die.”
She turned to him, a coy smile on her lips. “Now that is where you’re wrong. It’s very rare, but gods can die or be killed.” She paused. “I’ve seen it happen; in fact, I’ve had to kill some myself.”
“What?” He turned to look at her, his eyes concerned. He’d never heard of this, and it made him anxious and worried for her to know that she had killed a god.
She continued to walk, acting as nonchalant as if she were talking about swatting a fly. “Erebus, the god of deep darkness and shadows was rebelling against us, trying to set my father free. He was a minor god, so he wasn’t a real threat, but he was still guilty of high treason against Olympus. Carol hated to do it, but she had to sentence him to death. Who better to be the official executioner than the goddess of the dead?”
Bucky continued to stare at her, his heart aching for her. He’d never really witnessed death before, but he could only imagine how horrible it was for her. Despite being surrounded by death down in the Underworld, he never could imagine what it was like dealing it out. “Wh-What did you do?”
She glanced at him sideways. “I don’t want to get into the details with you, Buck. You don’t really need to concern yourself with it. Death is… Well, it’s not always pretty. I don’t want to make you worried or ruin your innocence. Death is a nasty business.”
He nodded, but there was still something that bothered him. Every god presided over some dominion or another. Every god controlled some important aspect of life. What happens to their role when they die?
“(y/n)?”
“Hmm?”
“If Erebus is dead, then what happened to his…”
“His charges? The deep darkness and shadows?”
It was like she read his mind. He nodded.
“I took them. When a god dies, another has to take their role. Sometimes it goes to the god that already presides over something similar, sometimes it goes to the one most willing to take it.” She lifted her hand and instantly wisps of darkness curled around her fingers. “I was already Queen of the Underworld, a place that practically bathed in the deep darkness and shadows, so I took on the role.” She closed her fist and the shadows vanished.
Bucky couldn’t decide if he was fascinated or terrified by the whole thing. He was impressed that she had more power because of the death, but he was frightened by the prospect that any god could become more powerful by killing another.
“Don’t worry though. It’s extremely difficult to kill a god. Only one of the Big Three’s weapons or our father’s weapon can do it in one fell swoop, and my sisters and I keep our weapons under lockdown when we aren’t using them. The only other thing I can think of that could kill a god would be a sickness, and even then it would have to be a powerful sickness.” She shrugged. “Don’t fret about it, no one is dying anytime soon.”
“If you say I shouldn’t, I won’t.”
“Then don’t.” She fell silent for a bit before laughing. “Well, that was a failed attempt at keeping the conversation light. We go from talking about clothes to talking about death.”
“Well, when your girlfriend is the goddess of the dead, death and all its tangents are probably going to be normal conversation topics.”
At that, (y/n) froze and pulled Bucky to a sudden stop.
He grunted as he stumbled, pulled by his hand which was still holding hers. “You alright?” He hadn’t been expecting that, and he didn’t think she would stop unless she had good reason to. His eyes searched her body for any sign of sudden injury or disturbance, but all he could find was the startled expression on her face.
She stared at him, still as death, her eyes darting all over his body. Her lips were parted in a silent gasp.
“(y/n)?” he called again, his voice cautious and timid.
She was silent for a few moments more before she asked, in a voice as timid as his own, “Wh-What did you just call me?”
“(y/n)?”
“No, before that.”
He paused, wracking his brain for the word. When he finally realized what she meant, heat rose to his face. “I called you m-my girlfriend.”
Hearing it again, she turned her head down, eyeing him through her lashes. “Bucky… You’ve only known me for seven months or so. That’s… that’s not that long at all.” She hung her head, her expression unreadable.
For the first time in a while, Bucky was scared he’d overstepped the unsaid boundaries they’d established. His heart sank in his chest. What had he been thinking? Where had he gotten the idea that they were a couple? Was it from the countless hours they’d spent together? Was it the both of them kinda admitting their feelings back at Pop’s Pastries with no one but the fluorescent lights to bear witness? Why had he thought that meant she wanted to be with him even when he hadn’t asked? Was he really so stupid as to rush into this too fast and just assume?
He lowered his head in shame. “I… I know and I’m sorry, Doll. I shouldn’t have assumed anything and I—”
“No!” she said suddenly. “I mean, I don’t mind. I just… I’ve never been an official girlfriend before and it’s just… It’s different, y’know?”
“Like a good different?”
She paused for a moment, deliberating silently, before nodding. “I think so. But, if I’m your girlfriend, does that make you my boyfriend?”
“If you want me to be.”
She was quiet for a bit before she nodded her head. The motion was slow at first, so slow that Bucky hardly noticed it, but then she began to nod her head more eagerly and a smile that lit up her whole face took over. “I’d like that very much, but I’m changing the name. ‘Boyfriend’ and ‘girlfriend’ sounds like something teenagers use. I think I’d prefer you to be my partner.”
He chuckled. “Then your partner I shall be. I don’t care what you call me so long as I can be with you.”
“But also,” she said staring at him pointedly, “you have to actually ask me out before we can be anything. Just because I like you doesn’t mean you can cut corners.”
“Fine. (y/n), will you go out on a date with me?”
Her eyes sparkled with joy and mischief as she said, “Sure. Aren’t we on one now?”
He opened his mouth to respond, but he was cut off by Cerberus yipping and the sound of footsteps approaching.
(y/n) whistled sharply, drawing Cerberus to her side, and placed her hand on his head to hide his red eyes. She straightened up, her cheery manner being replaced with something more serious, and stared down the path where two figures were making their way up.
Bucky’s mouth fell open. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen mortals up here. Most of the time he only came across animals or nymphs, but these were full-fledged humans. He tugged (y/n) closer to him, encircling her waist with his arm as he pulled her towards the side of the path to let the people pass.
They were a pair of men, right around Bucky and (y/n)’s physical age, who were huddled together and murmuring in hushed whispers. They were American based on their accents, probably tourists, but that didn’t explain why they were this deep in the island. All the tourist attractions were closer to the bay or the city.
(y/n) had stiffened as she watched them grow nearer; she was not used to living creatures. Bucky saw her eyes flash a light shade of red.
He leaned into her so his lips were just inches away from her ear. “Easy,” he whispered. “They’ll be gone soon.”
She didn’t relax; her glare was fixed on them. “Why are they here?” she hissed. “I thought you said mortals don’t come up this far.”
“Sane ones don’t,” he confirmed before leaning back and calling out to the boys, “Hey! You kids lost or something?”
The one on the left, a brunet, perked up, his eyes startled. “Oh! Uh, sorry, mister. No, we aren’t lost.”
“Then why are you here?” (y/n) took her hand off of her companion’s head and crossed her arms impatiently.
The second boy, a blond, withered slightly under her gaze, his head bowing low. “We heard from locals that the gods roamed here in ancient times. The stories say that they still do. We’re theology majors in college and doing a project on Greek Mythology. We didn’t mean to trespass.”
(y/n) snorted, probably from the comment about the gods. “You boys came up here based on some stories? Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but that’s all they are: stories. And pretty inaccurate ones if we’re being honest. I mean really? Where did they come up with some of that stuff.”
Bucky found her exasperation amusing, especially since most of the inaccurate myths were about her and her sisters. She looked about ready to rant about the truth of the gods but, although Bucky could listen to her talk for hours about anything, he really didn’t think that she should blow their cover to a couple of kids. He tightened his grip on her waist and whispered her name.
She slackened just a bit in his grip, but her eyes never left the men. “You shouldn’t be up here. It’s dangerous.”
The blond was the first to respond by saying, “Please. We just want to explore and maybe take some pictures for the project. Will you at least let us do that?”
Bucky was quick to answer. “Sure, but you guys are seriously going to want to get out of here soon. Not so nice characters venture out here sometimes, and they don’t like intruders.”
They gulped.
Bucky took (y/n)’s hand. “Come on, Doll. Let’s go.”
She whistled once more to Cerberus, giving him the okay to walk, and the three of them began to continue down the path. “Have a nice trip,” (y/n) said, her smile growing mischievous as her eyes flashed red at the boys.
The color seemed to drain from their skin as they stared at her incredulously.
When they were out of earshot, Bucky leaned down to her. “Really?”
She turned to him, her eyebrow cocked. “‘Really’ what?”
“Are you trying to blow our cover? Flashing your eyes at them?”
She waved her hand dismissively. “Nah, just trying to scare them a bit. I never get to have fun with the mortals.” Her lips turned down in a pout. “Let me mess with them!”
“You probably scared them shitless, Doll. I know I’d be freaked if I saw a pretty girl with red eyes.”
“Oh really?” She closed her eyes for a second before opening them to reveal the red that had taken over her irises.
Bucky’s breath hitched in the back of his throat as the rouge stared at him, ensnaring him with their striking gaze. Her eyes shone like rubies, piercing his soul and seeing the very depths of his heart. They were gorgeous, enchanting even. He’d never get tired of that color. “Really really,” he murmured, leaning in closer and pressing his lips to her cheek.
The giggle that passed through her lips was music to his ears. “Gods, you’re such an idiot.”
“I know.” He slowed to a stop by a small bush on the side of the path and reached for it. Simultaneously, it reached back, a small red poppy to match (y/n)’s eyes blossoming as it grew. By the time Bucky’s fingers had reached the plant and gripped the stem, it was in full bloom. Bucky plucked the flower and turned back to (y/n), tucking it behind her ear. “But I’m your idiot.” He let his hand linger on her cheek.
Color rose to her face as she leaned into his hand. “Yes you are,” she mumbled. “Come on, idiot. We probably should be getting back now. Who knows what mischief Peggy and your friend have gotten up to.”
“What? Peggy and Steve? Nah, Steve might be a dumbass, but he’s the second most responsible out of the three of us.” Bucky had no doubt that they were fine, if not hitting it off swell. Ever since his growth spurt, Steve had grown more confident around people. Though, he didn’t know if “people” necessarily included goddesses. Well, guess it was time to find out.
(y/n) hummed as she turned him and Cerberus around to head back the way they came. “So then does that make you the least responsible?”
“Heh, yeah. But hey, my lack of responsibility led me to you.” And it did; if he had been responsible, he never would’ve taken Steve seriously and ventured down to the Underworld to get that ruby.
“True.”
They walked in silence the rest of the way back to the clearing.
Sam had vanished, probably to head down to the city and get food, but Peggy and Steve were sitting in the center of the field. Peggy was laughing at something Steve had said and Steve had the distinct red tint of a blush on his cheeks. Bucky smiled softly as he briefly observed them. Steve and the goddess seemed to be hitting it off. Hed have to make an inquiry about it later.
(y/n) stopped him at the edge of the clearing, right before they exited the trees, and turned to him. “Thank you for letting me come up, Bucky. Even if it was just for a bit. It was just the break I needed.”
He hummed. “Don’t mention it, Doll. You’re always welcome up here. Any time I get to see you makes my day, so feel free to visit whenever.”
“And the same goes for you, Buck.” She looked down at their hands which were still intertwined. “The Underworld is always open for you. You have every right to be down there. And I…” She frowned and bit her lip as if she was confused by what she wanted to or was about to say.
“And you…” Bucky prompted her, hoping to help her get the words out.
She held her silence for a bit longer before pressing her lips together and nodding. “And I want you to come down and see me. My responsibilities keep me pretty tied down there, I won’t always be able to come up and see you like this, but I want to see you. I want you to come down and see me. So please don’t be a stranger.”
Bucky held one of her hands in his as he used the other to cup her cheek. He gently leaned down and kissed her forehead. “I won’t, my queen.”
Satisfied with his answer, she straightened up, a soft grin on her face. “Good. Then I think Peggy, Cerberus and I will be taking our leave.”
“Good luck prying her from Steve’s hands,” Bucky said, looking out at his best friend and the goddess.
(y/n) said nothing but walked out to the pair, Cerberus keeping pace with her wide strides. She crouched down beside Peggy and said something inaudible to her, probably detailing that they had to go.
Peggy nodded and stood. She turned down to Steve and smiled, murmuring something that made him smile back. Peggy stood next to (y/n).
(y/n) dug into her pocket and pulled out what Bucky could only assume to be an Asphodel seed. But, before dropping it, she looked up at him one more time and gave him a smile. He could practically hear her saying, “Until next time,” with the grin. She tossed the seed onto the ground beneath them and the three of them were swallowed by the earth.
A single Asphodel was left behind.
Left alone with Steve, Bucky walked into the clearing, stopping just beside the Asphodel sprout. He stared down at the flower, a soft smile playing at his lips.
Steve watched it too, but a frown was tugging the corners of his lips down. “We have to pick it, Buck. You know your mom will flip if she sees it.”
“I know. Just…” He sat down next to the flower and looked it over, the feeling of (y/n)’s hand in his lingering. “Just let it live a bit longer.”

I’m sorry if I’m bothering you but I just love your work!! But can you imagine that instead of y/n and dib getting stuck in the Zimvoid, zim and dib would be stuck in a y/n-void? Again, sorry if I’m bothering you, I love your work, keep it up!!
Tumblr media
I LOVE IT!! LET’S DO IT!!!
Be warned: There are obsessive and creepy behaviors ahead. While there won’t be anything sexual in my story, things still may get disturbing.
Here’s the original song I used but be warned it’s nsfw. Because of this some of the lyrics have been changed.
The day you went missing was the day Zim and Dib finally put their differences aside to track you down.
However, where they ended up made their jaws drop and their hearts flutter.
They had somehow ended up on a planet full of copies of you!
There were versions of you of all shapes, sizes and even species!
Luckily Zim had a sample of your DNA so at least he could the you from his timeline.
“Ok, we need a plan to save our Y/N! We-”
Dib was cut off by a very excited GIR.
“OOH! OOH! I HAVE AN IDEA!”
And with that, GIR went running off into a group of yous before Zim could even try to stop him.
“HEY! Are you my Unicorn?!” GIR asked a you with fairy wings.
“No. I’m not a unicorn and I don’t even know who you are.” The you huffed as they folded their arms.
“Okie dokie!” GIR giggled as he walked off to another you wearing a pirate costume.
“Are you my Unicorn?”
“No. I am no Unicorn, landlubber!  I be Captain Y/N! The fiercest space pirate that ever roamed the galaxies!” The you announced dramatically.
“Ooh! Ok! Bye!”
And with that, GIR trotted off to a random pipe.
“Hey! Are you my Unicorn?”
The pipe said nothing as it sat on the ground.
“That’s ok take your time.” GIR reassured as he patted the pipe.
“GRAHH! GIR! Looks like I’ll have deal with him later. Right now I need to focus on my sweet Y/N!” Zim growled as he dragged a hand down his face.
“Well like I said, we need a plan! Do you have any ideas?” Dib groaned as he folded his arms.
“Of course I do! Zim always has a plan! ALWAYS!” Zim declared as he pointed to the sky.
“Ok, so what’s the plan, spaceboy?”
“The plan is…Uh…Um…”
“Seriously?! You don’t have any ideas at all?!” Dib interjected.
“OF COURSE I HAVE IDEAS! My plans are so amazing that your inferior human mind can’t comprehend them!” Zim lied as he snapped a finger in Dib’s face.
“Hey, if you boys are done fighting, I think I might be able to help.”
Dib and Zim whipped around and their jaws dropped.
What stood before them was an Irken you!
“Surprise! It’s another Y/N! The others call me Zoom though.” Zoom giggled as they gave a wink.
“Why do they call you, Zoom?” Dib asked as he rubbed the back of his he raised a brow.
“Because it sounds like a combination of Zim and doom so they other Y/Ns thought it was cute.” Zoom explained casually.
Zim’s PAK sparked a bit as he fought back the urge to stare into your F/C eyes.
Remembering how beautiful his you looked, Zim shook away his infatuation and cleared his throat.
“Yes, yes. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Zoom-Y/N  but the Dib-monkey and I are searching for our Y/N. So just…run along now or whatever”
“Well, you’re gonna need someone to help you navigate this hellhole if you want to find them! So are you gonna except my help or not?” Zoom huffed as they put their hands on their hips.
“Ugh! Fine! Do you have any ideas?” Zim pouted as he folded his arms.
“I sure do! Follow me! I’ll take you back to the rebel camp where we can explain everything to you two!”
And with that, Zoom led Zim and Dib to the rebel camp.
There were tons of Y/Ns at the camp but none seemed to be human.
“Welcome to the rebel Y/N camp! Here you’ll find all the Y/Ns who don’t want to take orders from the cruel demon that trapped us here!” Zoom explained as they gestured to the camp.
“Wait, are all these Y/Ns not…human?” Dib asked as he looked around.
“Yup! Apparently his ‘royal majesty’ only likes human Y/Ns! Anyone who isn’t human is thrown here, to the dumps!” Zoom grumbled as they gestured for Zim and Dib to keep going.
Eventually, Zoom stopped before an Elderly Y/N who looked like a moth creature.
“You won’t believe what I found, Elder! A Zim and a Dib!” Zoom chirped as they gestured to Zim and Dib.
“We’ll I’ll be! I can’t believe you two actually made it here!” The Elder crooned as they leaned in closer.
“Can you please explain to us what’s going on now?” Dib asked as he raised his hand.
“Right! Of course! You poor boys must be so confused! Gather around and I’ll tell you the tale of how our horrible society came to be.”
And with that Zim and Dib plopped down before The Elder as they spun their tale.
A you with glowing eyes was led into Zib’s castle where he stood in the doorway waiting to greet them.
“It’s another night, with Y/Ns coming to see me. Such a pretty sight, waiting there for me.” Zib sang as he slowly emerged from the shadows.
The glowing eyed you gasped and tried to leave-
SLAM!
The door shut behind them as Zib carefully took their hand in his and pulled them close.
“Smiling away, what you do like any other day. Take me by the hand, let’s dance the night astray.” Zib sang as he pulled the glowing eyed you into a tight hug.
“He stole what was mine, so I took his life from him. All the power he had, lives on within me.”  Zib chuckled as he remembered how he defeated Zim and stole his PAK.
“Look into my eyes, This will make you listen really easy.”  Zib sang as he attached a blue collar around the glowing eyed you’s neck.
ZAP!
“Look into my eyes”
A bright blue haze clouded the you’s glowing eyes as they gazed into Zib’s yellowed ones
“Taken my surprise, you’ve fallen enchanted.” Zib smirked as he kissed the top of their head.
“A stolen PAK that’s fused to him, gave him the power to control us.” Sang the glowing eyed you as they stood next to Zib’s throne wearing blue robes.
“He wants to lure every Y/N to his castle, just to feel loved.” Sang a you with F/C skin and matching robes.
“Bringing us one by one he chose the fairest Y/N and we gave him all our trust.” Sang the glowing eyed you.
“He’s building up his harem!” Sang the F/C skinned you.
“Brainwashed by my special collars, they finally love me! Devotion in every word they say, I know they’ll stay.” Zib sang as he stroked the glowing eyed you’s head.
“Their fates are set, From their blood to their sweat they all belong to me!  Just as long as their eyes shine a blue hue!”  Zib wrapped his hands around the F/C skinned you’s tightly.
“Once my plans progress to get these Y/Ns in my grasp. Never nonetheless, these’s no use to escape from my madness!” Zib cackled as he threw his arms into the air.
“OH! AUGH! EW!! You’re telling me some DISGUSTING Dib-Monster has my sweet Y/N?!”
“Not just your Y/N, he has countless Y/Ns and if this keeps up, every Y/N in the multiverse will be trapped here!” The Elder warned.
Zim and Dib gasped in unison as the Elder continued the story.
“Fragments of my past, I would like to burn them all away! Throw away my shame! And let it decay!” Zib sang as he burned pictures of his former self.
You stood beside him and watched the flames devour the photos.
“I want to forget, the person that I used to be. People used to laugh, and make fun of me!”
You gently put a hand on his shoulder and gave him a sympathetic look.
Zib’s eyes lit up the moment your hand touched his shoulder.
“Took them by the hands, as I told them, my sweet and simple plan.” Zib sang as he pulled you close to him.
Zib dipped you down and pulled you into a passionate kiss!
“Giving them a kiss was my only wish!”  Zib sang as he parted for air.
“You look just like the one, my friend since we were both so young. All you did was laugh and make fool of me!” Zib sniffled as he gripped your wrists tighter.
“Day by day, plenty of Y/Ns came to him from all over the multiverse.” You sang as you rested your head on his shoulder.
“One by one, all of us got lost as his evil plans got worse.” Sang an extremely tall you.
“Y/Ns got in entranced by him and soon lost their memories too!” You sang as you held one of Zib’s hands.
“Soon we didn’t even know what do to!” Sang the extremely tall you.
“My longing growing in darkness makes me desire more!  Infinitely, obsession spreading, without an ending!” Zib sang as he pulled you into his lap.
“Real or Trick? I’ll make you stick no matter how hard you try to leave! Deep and strong we’re making Zims cry and bleed! “ Zib sang as he pulled the extremely tall you back in place.
“Hating Zims and stealing the love of their angels. I’m the king of the night, it’s the madness that always felt right!” Zib sang as he kissed the top of your head.
“MADNESS! WE NEED TO PUT A STOP TO THIS AT ONCE!!” Zim screeched as he grasped the sides of his head.
“I never thought I’d say this but Zim’s right! We can’t let that weird Zim..Dib hybrid get away with this!” Dib agreed as he pointed to the sky.
“That’s why I brought you two here so we can discuss a-”
“WAIT! I HAVE A PLAN! Yes…An ingenious plan…” Zim interjected as he rubbed his hands together.
“Ok, I do not like that look on your face.” Dib muttered as he backed away from Zim.
“Zoom-Y/N! Do you still have access to some of your tech?” Zim asked as he turned his attention to Zoom.
“I think so. Why? What do you plan on doing with it?” Zoom asked as they checked their PAK.
“You’ll see…You’ll see…”
Within a few moments, Zim and Dib were dressed exactly like you.
“Really Zim?! This is your plan?! This never gonna work!” Dib whined as he gestured to his poorly constructed costume.
“Nonsense! Of course it will work! Zim is a master of disguise! Now hurry! Let’s retrieve Y/N before that REVOLTING DIB-WORM gets his Dib filth all over them!” Zim urged as he curled his fingers in front of his face.
“Are you kidding me?! Zim these disguises are total dookie! There’s no way anyone’s gonna be convinced by these!” Dib whined as he tugged on his disguise.
“OOH! Are you my unicorn?” GIR asked as he skipped over to Dib.
“No. I’m Dib.” Dib replied as he raised a brow.
“Ok! Are you my unicorn?” GIR asked as he turned his attention to Zim.
“No. It’s me GIR. See?” Zim chuckled as he lifted off a part of his disguise.
“Oh! Hi master!” GIR chirped with a wave.
“See? Flawless disguises! No let’s get going already!”
Dib wanted to protest but he didn’t want to keep you waiting either.
“Wait! I’m coming with you guys!” Zoom insisted as they ran after Zim and Dib.
“If those guys can’t help us I don’t know who can.” The Elder sighed as they shook their head.
After a long and grueling journey, Zim, Dib, and Zoom finally made it to Zib’s castle.
“Looks like you boys are on your own from here! Are you sure your ready?” Zoom asked softly.
“Well actually-”
“OF COURSE WE ARE!” Zim interjected.
“Alright. Good luck! I’m going to see if I can find a way to send everyone back to their home timelines.”
And with that, Zoom rushed off to search for a way to send the Y/Ns home.
Zim took in a deep breath and knocked on the door.
BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!
CREAK!
The door slowly opened as a familiar voice echoed from within:
“Come in my sweets~”
Zim and Dib carefully made their way into Zb’s castle.
SLAM!
The door slammed behind them as Zib emerged from the shadows.
“Well, Well what have we here?”
“Um, just two lost Y/Ns…” Dib giggled as he tried to imitate your voice.
Yes, I can see that. Come closer will you? I don’t bite.” Zib chuckled as he motioned for Dib to come closer.
Dib swallowed hard as he carefully approached Zib.
Zib chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Dib’s waist.
“Typical, Y/N. Always so tense…You know you really don’t have to-ACK!”
CLANG!
Zib was cut off by Zim smacking him upside the head with one of his weapons.
“Let’s go find our Y/N!” Zim growled as he dragged Dib along.
It didn’t take long for Zim and Dib to find you.
“Y/N!” Zim and Dib exclaimed in unison.
“We are all Y/N here….” Your voice was cold and robotic as you stared up at them with hazy blue eyes.
“Y-Y/N! What happened to you?!” Dib yelped.
“WHAT HAS THAT AWFUL DIB DONE TO YOU?!” Zim demanded as he shook your shoulders.
“He is not awful. He has opened my eyes and now I am free….” You responded as your eyelids lowered.
“NO! Y/N! SNAP OUT OF IT! JUST- Eh?” Zim suddenly noticed the bright blue collar wrapped around your neck.
“What’s- AH HA! THIS MUST BE WHY YOU’RE ACTING ALL WEIRD AND STUFF!”
Before you could protest, Zim pulled out a small laser from his PAK
ZAP!
CRACK!
CLANG!
With one swift cut, you were freed from your collar as it clattered to the ground.
The blue haze faded from your eyes as they returned to their normal color.
“Urgh…What happened?” You groaned.
“Y/N! YOU’RE BACK TO YOUR OLD SELF!” Zim cheered as he pulled you into a tight hug.
“I never thought I’d say this but…You did it Zim..” Dib admitted as he rubbed his arm.
“Yes! Yes I did! I AM ZIM! Now let’s free all the other Y/Ns before that VILE Dib-thing wakes up”
And with that, You, Zim and Dib went around the castle and freed every single version of you.
“I think that was the last of em.” Zim panted as another collar clattered to the ground.
“Great job guys! Now we can get out of here!” You chuckled as you pulled Zim and Dib into a hug.
Zim and Dib giggled as they melted into your embrace.
Once you released them they composed themselves and prepared to leave.  You, Zim, and Dib were just inches away from the door when-
“Not so fast!”
All three of you whipped around to find Zib glaring daggers at Zim and Dib.
“You didn’t really think I’d let you leave here with all of my beloved Y/Ns did you?” Zib growled as he drew closer.
“It’s over you..Zib creature you! All of the Y/Ns have been freed!” Dib stuttered as he put his hands on his hips.
“Don’t call me by that name. And I’ll have you know that all of the Y/Ns are HUH?!”
Zib’s eyes nearly burst out of his cracked glasses!
All of the Y/Ns were running out of the castle!
“Guards! Guards! Stop them!” Zib pleaded but he was too late, for every last Y/N had left the castle.
“N-No…No! No!!!!!!” Zib wailed as he clutched the sides of his head.
“Well, looks like it’s time for us to leave now!” Dib stuttered as he tried to guide you out of the castle.
FWIP!
You, Zim, and Dib were captured in a massive mechanical tentacle.
“None of you are going anywhere! You may have chased off my harem but I still have the most beautiful Y/N of them all and I refuse to ever let them leave my side!” Zib seethed as he stormed closer.
BOOM!
Zim had squeezed out a blaster from his PAK and blasted you and Dib free.
“Hurry! We don’t have much time!”
And with that, Zim grabbed your hand and rushed you out the door.
“Wait for me!!!” Dib cried as he ran after you and Zim.
“WAIT! NO!! YOU CAN’T TAKE THEM FROM ME-ACK!”
THUD!
The remains of the tentacle fell on top of Zib.
“N-No!! Y/N! Wait! I didn’t even get to tell you I loved you….”
“Geez. What a creep. Are you alright, Y/N?” Zim asked as he took off his disguise.
“Yeah, I think so. My head hurts though.” You sighed as you rubbed your head.
“Well hopefully we can fix that when we get you home.” Zim kissed your cheek as he let you back to the Voot Cruiser.
“Wait! What about the other mes?” You asked as you climbed in.
“Don’t worry about them! I’ve already taken care of it!” Zoom reassured as they zipped over to you.
“Really? What did you do, Irken-me?” You asked as you peeked over at Zoom.
“I found this Dimensional Zapper thingy and reprogramed it.” Zoom explained nonchalantly.
“Oh that makes sense.”
“Well. It was nice working with you, Zoom-Y/N. Now it’s time for us to part ways!” Zim announced as he started up the Voot.
“Wait! Are you my unicorn?!” GIR asked as he hopped into your lap.
“Yes. Yes. I am.” You chuckled as you patted GIR’s head.
“Yay!!” And with that, Zim closed the Voot and flew off.
Dib hopped into Tak’s ship and followed suit.
You were the last Y/N to go, leaving Zib all alone.
“No! Please don’t go…”

Level of Concern (Iden Versio x Reader)
Tumblr media
(Gif found here!) Pairing: Iden Versio x (Gender Neutral) Reader Word Count: 2.9k Words Warnings: One singular cuss word Summary: A recon mission alone with Iden should be easy, right?  A/N: Another Iden request so enjoy my Iden loving followers! :)
“Keep your guard up, Agent. We’re in enemy territory now.” Iden spoke as she put her helmet on, grabbing her gun from the TIE and began to make her way into the thick, dense jungle that made up most of Yavin 4. It was hot, very humid, and you hated this planet with a passion but when Iden picked you for this recon mission with her instead of Del or Hask, you threw all that right out the window. You gave a small nod, grabbing your gun and putting on your own helmet as you began to follow after your Commander. Your mission: To scout out the Rebel base that was stationed here, see how many ships they had, maybe find out where they were getting their supplies, those kinds of things. For Iden that would be no problem at all, she was used to these kinds of missions by now, she’s been doing them for who knows how long now. It becomes second nature to her; But to you? Oh it’s going to be a little difficult.
First off, you want to impress your commander, to let her know that your spot on the Inferno Squadron was for you and you alone. Second off, and the part that was going to make this difficult, you fell for your commander. You fell for her hard, but it wasn’t like you could openly tell her; Just walk up to her and say ‘Hey Iden, I like you, like a lot. Maybe we can go get a drink?’ If it was that simple, Maker, you would have done so already. But no, she was your commander for crying out loud, it was wrong in the first place so you kept your little crush under wraps. But you knew you weren’t the only one falling for her, you noticed the way Del watched her during debriefs, when the two would just hangout in the hangar or in the cafeteria and how his stares would linger; It was a race now. A race between you and Del to see who would crack and tell Iden first on their little crush.
“Something on your mind, Agent?” Iden spoke to you, looking in your direction before she looked forward once more as she carefully avoided the roots that just about littered the ground around you. You shook your head quickly; She caught you with your head in the clouds, as usual whenever you were on a mission with her.
“No Commander Versio, I’m alright.” You lied, following her lead as she climbed over a couple of rocks and landed on the other side. She gave a curt nod as she began to walk once more, scanning the area every so often.
“Good. I need you to stay focused. I got word that the Rebels tend to have patrols closer towards the base. We don’t need to get caught in a fight.” She spoke, having her ID10 seeker droid come out from behind her, spoke a few commands and watched as the black droid disappeared deep into the jungle.
“Yes Commander.” You said, watching as the small droid went ahead before you continued to walk ahead with Iden. You two remained in complete silence, listening to the world around you. In the far distance, you could hear the humming of ships as they came and went; More than likely all coming from the Rebel base you were going to recon. Every so often a warm breeze would blow, causing the trees above you to shake and creak, the loud cries of some predatory creature far off into the distance told you the planet was still very much teeming with wildlife. You never had much time to enjoy such things when working with Iden; She wanted to be in and out. Get the mission done as quickly as possible so she could move onto the next. You admired her for her determination and skill to get these kinds of missions done within the span of a few hours, and you wanted to be able to do the same. So not only was this mission going to be useful for the Empire, but it gave you a chance to see Iden at work, alone no less.
It felt like you were walking for ages at this point, and it honestly felt like you were walking in circles as well. Everything was beginning to look alike; The trees blending into each other, the sun occasionally breaking through the canopy above you and lighting up the ground as you and Iden walked and you swore you passed that rock maybe five, ten clicks ago.
“Um, Commander?” You spoke, which caused the female to stop and turn to look at you. You could tell she had an eyebrow raised under the helmet and it was going to be the death of you as you pictured it in your mind.
“Are.. Are we going in the right direction?” You asked, your voice a little uncertain. You knew better than to question your commander, but the question was honest. You really did feel like you were going in circles, and you just wanted to make sure everything was going according to plan. Iden couldn’t help the chuckle that left her as she turned and began to walk again, giving a nod as she crawled under a particularly large root.
“Yes Agent (L/N), I assure you we’re going in the right direction. And no, we’re not going in circles. That’s just the heat getting to your head.” She commented, going over to you to gently tap your helmet. You couldn’t help the blush that formed on your face, and were grateful for your helmet being on to cover it up. Maybe it was the heat that was finally getting to you, you were sweating more than you usually did, and you could tell Iden was as well; The only difference being that she seemed to be managing the heat a lot better than you were. She turned once she heard the small beeps of ID10, watching as the droid came back, beeped a few things to her before it attached itself back on her back to rest.
“The droid said there’s a group of Rebels ahead, so we need to be careful. Don’t take a shot unless you know they see you.” She spoke with a stern tone, getting into a crouching position before she continued to move. You blinked but gave a small nod, following after her. You had a tight grip on your blaster, a sudden sense of unease running through your body. Why? There was no reason for it, but it was just that feeling that your gut was telling you, telling you that something was going to happen and that you needed to stay on your toes. Eventually you began to hear talking, that of the group of Rebel’s the ID10 spoke of. Iden slowed her movements behind the tree, pressing her back against it as she pointed her blaster towards the sky, listening in on the conversation quietly. You moved to the tree just beside hers, keeping your left shoulder pressed against the bark as you also listened in.
“I heard there’s a traitor here..” One of the rebels spoke, to which you raised a brow. A traitor within the Republic? That was a new one. Maybe there was more to this mission then Iden told you, or she was just as surprised to hear the news as you were.
“A traitor? That’s hard to believe. Why would anyone support the Empire?” Another spoke, their voice deeper than the previous one. You and Iden held your positions as the group talked, making their way past you both. You watched as they made their way past, noticing how one kept looking back every so often and eventually spotted your form peeking out from behind the tree. You knew what you needed to do, Iden had told you earlier that if one spotted you, you were allowed to take the shot. Your eyes shifted over to her and Iden must have been reading your mind, because she turned her head to give you a warning look through her helmet. You weren’t stupid enough to try and take them all at once, were you? Oh how wrong she was. She watched as your form stepped out from behind the tree and onto the path they walked on, and it was there you fired the first shot. Your shot hit it’s target, taking down one of the rebels before the remainder of the group turned and began to open fire on your form. Various shots of red and green whizzed past your form, and it was then that you knew you were in trouble. You began to back away, activating the shield you had brought with. It wouldn’t hold long, but all you needed to do was get back to the cover you were behind and you’d be fine. Iden was providing as much cover fire as she could, her helmet long but discarded as she struggled to see out of the damn thing, but even she knew those shields didn’t last long; So she decided to do her own daring move. She rolled out of cover, landing just in front of you before she began to fire a few shots at the rebels as they hid behind cover. It was then she took the chance to get you to safety. She got to her feet and turned to you, going and shoving you so you tripped over your own feet and landed on the ground, well hidden behind the fallen log that just so happened to be there. But that noise, oh that noise that would haunt your dreams for the rest of your life.
Iden was shot. Not once, but twice. You heard her scream of pain as you scrambled to your feet. You watched as she fell to the ground, her hand going to cover her shoulder and leg where two blaster shots clearly collided with her, The rebels didn’t hold up their attack, still firing at the two of you as you activated your shield once more and moved to crouch in front of her, firing and managing to hit two of the rebels.
“Fuck- Just hold on, Iden. I’m going to get us out of this.” You spoke in a panicked voice, reloading your blaster before you continued your assault, slowly but surely moving forward. You took out rebel after rebel, your fear driving you forward. You needed to finish this and get Iden back to the TIE fighters. You needed to get Iden back to the Eviscerator to get her into the med bay so they could patch her up. You needed her to stay alive so you could tell her how much you loved her, how much you wanted to be with her. It wasn’t until one rebel was left that you stopped your assault, your blaster aimed at their form as they held their hands out.
“Wait wait! I’m with the Empire!” They spurred out, causing you to raise an eyebrow. You hesitated, but you lifted your hand up and took your helmet off, your eyes narrowing on the male Twi’lek before you.
“And how do I know this isn’t some trick to let you escape with your life?” You hissed, pressing your blaster closer to him. This little encounter needed to end quickly, Iden was still injured and if you waited any longer she would most surely succumb to her injuries. He couldn’t help but tense as he quickly began to search through his pockets before he held out what looked to be a USB chip from a droid.
“Take that back with you- It has almost all the Republic information from this base that I could get on itt.” He spurred on, to which you took the device and looked it over. If what he was saying was right, this would help the Empire out greatly. If this was a lie, well, you were about to lose your spot on the Squadron anyway. You gave a huff and put the chip in your pocket before you motioned your blaster to the side.
“Get going.” You hissed before you ran over to Iden, who was carefully sitting up. Her hand still covering her shoulder, a small hiss leaving her form as you kneeled beside her.
“Shit- Iden I’m so sorry I just- I thought I could take them after the one rebel spotted me but then I realized I couldn’t the moment I fired the shot and if you didn’t push me back I would have died. Then you took that shot for me and just- Fuck I love you Iden.” You blurrted out, immediately tensing and paling after the words had your left your mouth. Iden gave you a look, one that you couldn’t read. Her eyes were filled with too much; Anger, distress, was that tiredness in her eyes as well? All you could do was gulp and help her to her feet, watching as she had the droid cover the wounds with what looked to be some kind of numbing agent.
“Let’s head back, they’ll know we’re here now.” She hissed out, grabbing her helmet nearby before she began to make her way back to the TIE fighters, a limp in her step as she went. Oh were you in for it now.
-------
“Commander Versio wants to see you, Agent (L/N).” Hask told you as he walked past you, causing you to tense up. You were back on the Eviscerator, and Iden was currently in the medical bay while you handed over the chip to Admiral Versio. Sure enough, the chip contained all the information from the Rebel base that was located on Yavin 4, and you were relieved to find out that the Twi'lek was indeed a spy working for the Empire.
Slowly you began to make your way through the halls to the med bay; This was it. You were more than likely going to get laid off from the Inferno Squad and probably demoted down onto cleaning duty. I mean, it wouldn’t be that bad. You’d still get to see Iden but she wouldn’t acknowledge you in the slightest. None of the Inferno Squad would acknowledge you if that happened. You gave a sigh and moved a hand to rub at your head. How could you have been so stupid? First thinking you could take that group of Rebels on your own then telling Iden you loved her? You were more than ready to throw yourself out into space, at least there you knew your death would be quick and easy and not slow and painful like it was about to be. You stopped just in front of the med bay doors and took a deep breath.
‘Well.. Here we go.’ You told yourself before you made your way inside and over to Iden, standing with your hands behind your back as you watched her. She was finishing up with the medical droid, her shoulder and leg having been wrapped up and she was finishing getting re-dressed as the droid told her the do’s and don'ts of the injury. Eventually the droid left, leaving you and Iden alone. It was quiet, and you remained with your hands behind your back as you gulped quietly. You hated the silence, and were about to speak before Iden spoke up as she got to her feet.
“I love you too, you dumbass.” She spoke, turning to you with a smirk on her face. You couldn’t help but stare with wide eyes; Did she just- Did she really just say that to you?
“I- I’m sorry Commander, but did you say you loved me?” You asked again, wanting clarification as to what she had just told you. She couldn’t help but laugh as she put her hands on your shoulders, giving a small nod.
“You heard me, agent. I thought about it while getting fixed up.” She started as she grabbed her gloves from the table nearby and began to put them on.
“When I got shot back on Yavin, I realized I never got to tell you that. If I would have died there you wouldn't have known. So, while I was laying here getting fixed up by that droid, I told myself I’d tell you I love you.” She repeated again, turning to you once more. Your mouth was hanging open as you watched her; The Commander Iden Versio loved you. She loved you and not Del; You couldn’t help the grin that crossed your face as you turned to face her, clearing your throat as you watched her.
“Permission to kiss you, Commander?” You asked, an eyebrow raised as she smirked, snaking one arm around your waist.
“Permission granted.” She spoke before she leaned in and met you halfway. The kiss was slow, and you couldn’t help but shut your eyes as you savored the kiss; It may have been slow, but it was sweet and passionate all the same. You couldn’t help but smile into the kiss, eventually pulling away as you put a hand on her cheek, running your thumb across it.
“(Y/N)?” She asked, watching as your eyes stared at her with such admiration and love.
“Yes Iden?” You asked, eyebrow raised once more as she hummed and leaned forward, pecking your lips once more.
“Don’t try and do anything stupid like that again. Understood?” She spoke, to which you couldn’t help but laugh and nod as you brought her into another passionate kiss.
Iden Versio was yours, and you’d be damned if some rebel was going to take her away from you.

Got7 Reaction to Getting Caught During Sex (m)
Jaebeom
You had been in the midst of a delightful wet dream when your boyfriend awakened you from your bliss. However, your arousal would kickstart once again when you realize he was between your thighs, his tongue lapping away at all you had to offer. Hands tugging at his hair, you would release your pleasure-filled cries, still laced with traces of drowsiness. Just when you were about to reach your high, the door would swing open and reveal a wide-eyed Bambam. You would tug at your boyfriend’s hair to cease his movements, but he would rebel and continue darting his tongue across your sweetest spots. He wouldn’t pull away until he brought you over the precipice of pleasure then turn to his younger member with a smirk.
“Now, since you’ve seen how beautiful my kitten looks when she cums, you can fuck off now... Don’t expect any free shows next time though...”
Tumblr media
Mark
The two of you had been teasing each other all day, and it would end with you sat on the kitchen counter, clinging to Mark’s body as he drives his cock into your core over and over again. His lips would be attached to your neck, leaving marks that you know you’ll have to hide later. You wouldn’t care though, too focused on your fast approaching high. Unfortunately, just when you would be tipping over the edge, Yugyeom’s sudden scream would cease all of Mark’s movements. Your boyfriend would proceed to yell at the maknae and attempt to hide your naked forms as much as possible. Let’s just say Mark would no longer allow the boys to drop in anytime.
“Hey! Get out! What are you even doing here!?... No, it doesn’t matter, just leave!... Goddamnit it. Babygirl, I’m so fucking sorry...”
Tumblr media
Jackson
Somehow, innocent kisses with Jackson always lead to something more heated. Then again, you’re not really one to complain. You would be sat on Jackson’s thigh, allowing him to guide your hips back and forth. The friction against your naked core would be indescribable, the insides of your stomach buzzing with immense arousal. Jackson would be whispering more praises into your ear when Youngjae walks in, rambling something about going out to dinner. The youngster would freeze when he realizes exactly what he walked in on, mutter a quick apology and run back out of the room. Unlike you, Jackson would be completely unphased by the incident and simply tell you to continue.
“C’mon, sweetheart. Don’t worry, I’ll deal with him later, okay? He’s harmless anyway... Now move, my thigh’s not going to ride itself, is it?...”
Tumblr media
Jinyoung
Jinyoung had invited you to shower with him and you obviously accepted. But what started out as rubbing shampoo into each other’s scalps and washing one another’s bodies became a heated moment with Jinyoung pounding into you from behind. You would be bent over, hands sliding against the tiled wall as Jinyoung places small pecks along your spine. Your moment would be cut short though when a gasp erupts from outside the shower. Horrified, both you and Jinyoung would see Jackson, who had lifted a hand to cover his eyes, mumbling something about needing toilet paper. Jinyoung would sigh, pull out of your heat with one final kiss to your shoulder and go help his friend.
“One second, baby. When I get him out of here, we’ll continue where we left off, okay?... But this time, I’m making sure the damn door is locked...”
Tumblr media
Youngjae
Poor Youngjae had woken up in the middle of the night with a raging hard on and you, being the loving girlfriend you are, decided to help him out. The only issue was Youngjae had to keep quiet, since Mark was asleep in the hotel bed beside you guys, and so far, he wasn’t doing a very good job. Soft moans and whimpers would be spilling from his lips as you take even more of his length into your mouth. Knowing it drives him crazy, you would swirl your tongue around his tip, trying to coax him toward his orgasm. One loud gasp would awaken Mark, but luckily the darkness and the blanket you were under would hide what you and Youngjae were really up to. This gave you the perfect opportunity to continue while Youngjae tries to answer his older member’s concerns.
“I-I’m not doing any-anything, hyung... Just a-a bad dream! Yeah, a bad dream!... You should- shit, you should go back to sleep... I’m sorry for waking you...”
Tumblr media
Bambam
Bambam and you were supposed to have a nice, quiet night filled with Marvel movies and junk food. That was until the rapper let slip yet another one of his many dirty fantasies. The two of you would end up 69ing on the sofa, Bambam’s cock halfway down your throat while he flicks at your heat with his tongue. Unbeknownst to the both of you, Jinyoung had entered the room only to take one look at the both of you and dash the hell out. Bambam would catch him leaving through the corner of his eye, and being the damn tease he is, try to get you to moan louder.
“C’mon, babe, I know you can do better than that... I want Jinyoung to know who’s making you feel this good... Let’s play him a song he’ll never forget...”
Tumblr media
Yugyeom
Yugyeom had been working in the practice room all day, coming up with new choreography. You showed up around dinner time to bring him food, but one thing led to another and you decided to help your boyfriend out with his frustrations. He would have you pressed up against the wall, legs tied around his waist as he releases his stress in deep, powerful thrusts. His name along with yours would bounce between the walls, the volume of your antics drowning out the sound of Jaebeom entering the room. You would catch the leader’s unimpressed expression and warn Yugyeom, who quite nearly drops your body to the floor in shock.
“Oh! Hyung! I-I didn’t realize you were coming... We-we were just- um... Could-could you actually give us a second?... We’re kind of...”

Prescence (post-TROS fanfiction/Post Canon)
Before I’m posting on Archives, this is my first DamereyDaily2020 during pandemic week, and this is the second after Healing or ‘possibly the third’ series of ‘It's Like Poetry, Sort Of. They Rhymes.’
Pairing: Poe Dameron/Rey Skywalker
Word count: 4,650
Prompt: ’Two hearts and one home.’ Plus a bonus from late March ‘If You Lived to Be A Hundred’
Summary: Three months later...Poe had faith that his dauntless ally, his best friend, his ray of sunshine, his beloved Jedi...had returned for him.
Once the Death Star’s latest target and the site of the Rebel base during the final battle. Yavin 4 was a vast and most affluent planet of the Outer Rim Territories, and its large and sprawling tropical jungles teemed with an abundance of exotic beauty.
Following a long hyperspeed, T-70 X-wing Black One had reached Yavin 4. Similar to Ajan Kloss, this tropical moon planet was where Poe Dameron was born. He was glad, relieved to have finally returned from Coruscant and the third meeting of the Galactic Senate’s restoration.
Poe thought about the peace that had ensued after the war, and the friends that he had made along the way. He missed them so much out there, but it was time to come home, take a breath, and rejoin his father. Nonetheless, he was reflected on Finn and the journey with his fellow former stormtrooper Jannah, along with Rose Tico, Chewbacca and Lando Carlissian in search of their families. Larma D’Acy was now in the Senate’s seat while Beaumont Kim as her aide. Caluan Ematt had retired and returned to his home planet with his family. Kaydel Ko Connix had been promoted to Major and continued to serve in the military. And Jessika Pava, the fearless sole member of the Black Squadron was taking over Poe’s command.
He had visited some time with Maz Kanata at her restored castle at Takodana where she had her new cantina, and with Zorii Bliss and Babu Frik who were still running spices like in the days when Poe had worked them long ago. Zorii would keep in touch with him until if she needed hand otherwise.
The giant red planet was covered in clouds as Black One dropped from the atmosphere and flew over the grassy fields to landed perfectly just as near from his father’s homestead.
He pulled off his flight helmet and climbed down from the cockpit. As General Dameron’s temporary side droid while Beebee-Ate was away with Rey, Artoo-Detoo popped up from the astromech socket behind the cockpit, and maneuvered himself with his two small rockets to land slowly onto the ground. Finally, the droid and his maker-pilot were strolling toward the stable next to the farmhouse.
They walked past his mother’s A-wing interceptor, parked next to an old X-wing model, and Poe was suddenly curious. He looked towards the craft as Artoo was suddenly became excited with blipping and whistles.
Poe turned to the diminutive droid, as he arched his brow. “What?” he asked unexpectedly. “What do you mean—“
“Is that you, son?” His father shouted from the nearby stable while fixing his tractor. “And I could hear Artoo’s droidspeak.”
He nodded to himself. “Yeah, Dad,” he said, still focusing on the ship as Artoo rolled closer. “I’m home!”
“How’s my old mates at Coruscant?”
“Er...they all missed you,” he looked closer at the craft: one had the red stripe on two of its wings and on the body. It was sleek, like the T-70 X-wing or his original Black One that had been destroyed inside the Raddus’ hangar.
Poe abruptly realized that this was the T-65B starfighter, the one that Uncle Luke had piloted to destroy the first Death Star at Yavin 4, and then thirty three years later the same craft that had flown to Exegol with the guide of a Sith Wayfinder, with Poe along with Finn and the rest of the Resistance following its track.
Red Five––here? Poe thought. No kriffing way!
“They’re coming to visit you the next seasons,” added Poe, sighed in relief. “And they’ll bring some of that Corellian cognac that you wanted!”
“Sounds good, Poe!” Kes Dameron answered enthusiastically.
That’s Master Jedi-Luke’s X-wing and I recognize this ship, Maker-Poe, the droid beeped to Poe. And I think there is someone here?
“Who?” asked Poe.
“Oh, there’s a visitor for you, kid,” Kes added. “And she’s with our Beebee.”
“Really?” His heart leaped to find out Rey was already there.
“Of course, you Space Porg! Did you see that old X-wing she’s flying?” Kes chucked as Poe got annoyed at his ridiculous teasing. “She’s at our old place. Do invite with your Jedi friend for a dinner tonight.”
“Ah…no problem, Dad. And I’ll tell her!” Poe wore a satisfied grin as he turned to giddy Artoo. ”Will you take it easy, bud?”
Sorry, sir. Artoo beeped. Never can help it.
He shook himself as he walked and the droid followed. “You know what, you’re a lot more cheekier like Beebee-Ate.” he observed. “And a bit naive.”
Why thank you very much, Master-Poe. You have to add that I’m a stubborn little droid as well. Jedi Master-Luke calls me that, by the way.
“Ah, I almost forgot that.” he chuckled lightly as they move along the path through the woods where his new home was, where his family was, and where the Uneti tree was located. “Does Uncle Luke cross your mind?”
Yes, Master-Poe. We had a lot of adventures when I was with him from time to time. But I can’t say much about what happened after he had gone.
“I know, Artoo,” he sighed sadly.
Until a sound of jubilant beeps and chirps approached as a spherical looking droid followed by a tiny cone shaped, rolled towards Poe.
“Beebee-Ate! Welcome back!” Poe exclaimed, dropping to his knees. He rubbed the droid’s body back as Beebee’s dome head jiggled excitedly like a child has returned from a long trip. “I really missed you, Buddy?”
Same to you, Master-Poe! Beebee beeps and chirps happily. It’s good to be home! What’s up, Artoo and you’ve been spending time with him!
Incredibly much, Beebee-Ate. Artoo replied. Master-Poe is happy you’ve come back.
“And how d’you enjoy crossing the galaxy with your Jedi Mistress-Rey?” he asked with a smile at Beebee. “Have you stuck with her?”
Yes, sir. She’s been keeping my antenna straight in case I get into trouble. We’ve traveled around to all the places, especially Tatooine.
“You mean Luke’s old homestead?”
Yes, sir.
Dio rolled closer to Poe. “Welcome back, Master-Poe.” he said calmly. He had been living there permanently as Poe’s second familiar. “How was the Senate meeting at Coruscant?”
Poe groaned as he nuzzled the droid’s cone head like a house pet. “Lot’s of reconstruction and other headaches, Little Buddy.” he smiled lightly. “Thanks for asking.”
He brought himself back to his feet as he was looked in the direction where he was going. “Is she there?” he asked.
“Yes, sir.” Dio replied.
Jedi Mistress-Rey has been at the tree in about an hour, Master-Poe. Beebee beeped in reply.
“What’s she doing?” asked Poe, looking at Beebee.
Meditating. Beebee double-beeped.
Poe looked over in the direction of the tree. He took a deep breath, glad of see Rey again. They had shared intimately at the forest of Ajan Kloss during an evening celebration. And it felt rewarding to him, as it was so very uncommon.
“Why don’t you guys go with Artoo and charge yourselves alright?” he said at the two. “I just need to speak alone with her.”
Beebee and Dio responded in the affirmative as they joining with Artoo and proceeded to the charging area. Poe resumes up the path, which finally opened into a clearing where he could almost feel her presence.
The ancient Force-sensitive Uneti tree stood there near the lake and his family’s old home, remodeled now as his own. Like The Great Tree at Coruscant, colorful fan-shaped leaves of gold and brown were attached to the coiled branches and stems of the large, twisted trunk.
Then Poe saw  the enchanted tree, and near it a beautiful floating figure sat crossed-legged in the air with small boulders and rocks hovering slowly around her as the Force flowed through her. Her eyes were closed peacefully as she concentrated in a meditative trance that flowed between her and the tree.
Poe was silently impressed; he sat down on the grass, placing his flight helmet beside him. Then he stripped off his flight vest and placed it on top of the helmet as he watched the floating and reposed Rey. She had more beautiful since their first encounter on Crait where she had used her power to lift rocks. Looking at her now, Poe thought her once again of how she resembled an ancient Yavinesque goddess with her celestial objects surrounding her.
He’d never fallen in love with any woman in the galaxy before he found her. He had wanted her from the beginning when they first met at the Falcon, and now he loved having her in his life. Time was specifically a good thing when it came to General Dameron, who was gladly reunited with the lone scavenger from Jakku, now a fiercely independent Jedi after the tides of galactic war.
And it was something that he had faith in the ideal of his dauntless ally, his space goddess, his ray of sunshine, his beguiling sweetheart, and his beloved Jedi. She had returned for him.
Then a minute later, Rey had finally completed her meditation. She lowered herself neatly on the ground as the rocks fell around her.
Poe stood up and walked to her. “Hey, Sunshine,” he said to her.
Rey was aware of the familiar voice as she slowly opened her eyes and blinked. “Hey, Flyboy,” she replied breathlessly with a bright smile.
Poe took a quick step forward as Rey approached him and then wrapped her arms around him. At once all his aching memories of three unbearable months had finally lifted, and his eyes closed in bliss that as was back in his beloved Jedi’s arms. He tightened his hold around her waist and leaned against her chest as he inhaled the scent of her.
"I missed you,” she sighed softly.
“Same to you,” he murmured, his face buried in the crook between her neck and shoulder. “I’m surprised that you’re here.”
“Oh, I know. That’s why I came to see you, Poe,” she sniffed. “It’s been a long time since I was away.”
“I was worried while you were still out there.”
“More than your Force-sensitivity of tracking me?”
“Indubitably.” Poe lifted his head, raising his brows in a cocky manner and looked at her teary eyes. “I don’t want to spoil it too much, and it takes time,” he said meticulously, wiping her tears with his thumb.
“To be sure,” assured Rey.
He chuckled as his eyes mirroring hers while he stood in silence. It had been months since he and Rey had parted after leaving Ajan Kloss. There had been a lot of opportunities in their separate ways during the restoration of the New Republic, and some perks.
And he could see the truth in her eyes. Rey had missed him all these months since their fight against the Final Order, Emperor Palpatine, and his Sith Eternal, and she had come back to see him once again.
After disowning herself her Palpatine bloodline and adopting the Skywalker’s surname, Rey had made plans for the restoration and reorganization of the New Jedi Order––or maybe a search for the kybel crystal to build her own lightsaber from the parts of her staff.
She had returned to see Poe after her final trip to Tatooine. And either way, Poe was happy that Rey had come.
He began to move closer again until Rey spoke. “I hope you’re surprised I’m here with Beebee-Ate,” she noted. “He missed you.”
“Did he?”
She nodded slowly. “Uh-huh.”
“That’s my buddy,” he shrugged his shoulders with a sardonic grin as they gently pulled away. “And you’ve been flying Uncle Luke’s Red Five. What happened to your Falcon?”
“Lando asked me to borrow it for a while with Chewie,” she answered. “He told me the whole story about how his ship before he was beaten by Han in a card game.”
“That’s him, alright. He’ll never change a bit,” he sighed with a scoff, scratching the back of his head. “Are you going to stay for a while?”
“If you want me to,” she assured playfully, “then, I’m staying.”
“Good, I’m glad you’re welcome here, and you can stay as long as you like,” he said with a smirk. “Also, my Dad made some dinner for us tonight.”
“That’s sound’s wonderful,” she said in an optimistically.
Poe led her on a simple tour of the Force-sensitive tree. Despite growing up in the desert, Rey had already visited so many greens planets in the galaxy like Takodana and Ajan Kloss. But she was amazed at the exotic fields of Yavin 4 with its fresh breezes blowing through the Massassi trees, the scented fresh fruits of Koyo trees that Kes had planted, the bioluminescence of fresh flowers and lush green grasses, and the gleams of the late afternoon sun on the crystal-clear lake that shone with a lustrous and rare beauty.
As they strolled around under the tree in conversation, Rey noticed the renovated house nearby. “I can see the new home that you’ve to built over there. Is that the house where your parents lived?”
“Yup, I’m still restoring it,” he answered, shoving his hands into the front pockets of his fight uniform.
“Perhaps you need a hand. I’ve fixed a lot of stuff besides ships,” Rey glanced at him. “How about it, General Dameron?”
“Why not, Jedi Mistress Skywalker.” he was amused at the tone of her new surname. “A carpenter would be nicer to have around than a scavenger, a mechanic, or even a Jedi. But you only have a new lightsaber rather than a laser saw. Or maybe the Force would do–”
Instinctively, Rey quickly slapped his arm while Poe laughed with a cocky humor as they strolled. She ignored him as she is looked up to watch the gentle breeze moves through the branches of the Force-sensitive Uneti tree.
“Your father showed me this tree, and I can’t believe it’s so beautiful and mythical,” she said. “But it much seems so huge and different, unlike the one at Ahch-To.”
“It’s pretty awesome, huh? And it’s matured and more than I expected.” He walked to the trunk, but did not get close. “My mom helped Uncle Luke to cut two clippings a long time ago. So he gave her one as a thank you present.”
“So Luke has the other one at Ahch-To,” Poe continued. “and you’ve said there was a library underneath the trunk of the tree where the sacred Jedi texts kept.”
“That’s right, Poe.” she answered. “I returned the day on exile as when I saw the tree, it was burned down.”
Later, she stopped as Poe kept strolling. “Have you ever touched the tree?”
“Huh?” he blinked as he halted and turned back toward her.
“Did you?” she asked curiously.
“When I was thirteen, I was supposed to be close to the tree, but I’m afraid that was because I was being sensitive about staying away.” Then he swiftly glanced at her. “Later, I did at this point that I sat under the tree, and when I did, I felt the inside of me for the first time while I was napping.”
“Was it scary?” she asked.
Poe moved shyly away from her. “Nope, it’s childish. But sentimental.”
“Can you tell me, Poe?” Rey giggled, teasing him. “Come on.”
He turned back toward her again and looked down at the necklace that held his mother’s wedding ring around Rey’s neck. His expression was earnest as he moved towards her, and his fingers fiddling with the ring.
He took a patient breath and began. “I can only I remember what I felt about my mother and me. She was very close to me when I was a little boy. She would take me outside at night when my father was fast asleep. We went to the lake near the growing Force tree, we’d lie down on the grass and stared at the night sky.” Poe released the ring from his hand as he looked up at the afternoon sky. “Once, she pointed to the brightest star –– Caeli, the Bird Star of the galaxy. And it was a good sign; my mother promised me that I’d become the best pilot when I grew up, just like her.”
Poe missed his mom so much when he was with her. She had taught him advising and caring across the galaxy and over until he found himself in a place where the eyes of Shara Bey could not reach him.
“That was very touching, Poe,” she observed. “You missed your mom a lot?”
He sighed as he looked down at the surface roots between his feet, and he felt something like life, a presence, like the air through him. He cocked his head at her. “What about you, Sunshine?”
“What?” she puzzled.
“Have you touched or meditated through the tree?” he asked simply.
She took her breath with ease. “I felt it,” she replied with a simple nod.
“Was it scary or something?”
She shuddered slightly as Poe moved at her.  “Hey, it’s alright I’m here with you.” he reassured her.
“It’s like a magnet pulling me, Poe,” she answered, and her eyes rose and met his. “It’s not scary. It replenishes me inside––the Force––through the way of the world, through my parents, Han, Luke and Leia, and Ben. I had cherished them as my faithfully as long as I wished for them. They’re in peace now, and I shall never regret it. The bond between Ben and me has been reconciled and purpose. I was very fond of him and remember him as a friend rather than an adversary. I embraced him with gratitude when he brought me back to life after I was defeated Palpatine and the Sith.”
Poe moved closer to her, brought her hand to his lips and softly kissed her knuckle. “Finn and I thought that you were gone there at Exegol.” he murmured with his breath hitched. “I…I’m––“
“I know, Poe,” she answered softly in a brittle tone. “But I live.”
He watched her in silence for a while, and before he could kiss Rey began to talk about something else.
“I was there in Coruscant,” she said. “At the service.”
He understood. He hadn’t seen her at the Monument Plaza during the service. “Finn told me that you’d left early,” he said.
“I wish I could’ve stayed for a while, but I had something to settle.” she nodded slowly. “That was a good speech, Poe. It was very...”
“Solacing,” he admits, cutting off Rey’s sentence.
Rey clasped both hands. “I’m sorry.”
He heaved a sigh and swallowed, looking more comforted than grieving. “I know, sweetheart. I don’t want to affect myself of having an ordeal like this. I miss everyone, especially Snap and Aunt Leia.”
She bowed her head sadly. “I understand.”
“Leia was your master after Uncle Luke, Rey,” he said.
“Yes,” she said calmly. “Master Leia taught me everything while I was at Ajan Kloss. She watched me what I’m doing, and it was with a patience between peace and calm. She told me about all the moments she treasure with Luke as he taught her every day. I miss her, and especially Master Luke, Poe.”
Rey recollected the motherly relationship with the master who trained her apprentice to refocus and free her mind from fear through the Force. She understood entirely that patience was the key of the Force.
Poe walked and stood beside her as he gazed at the fields. “Before we left on a mission in search of the Wayfinder, Leia said she was passing her torch to me to bring the Final Order down. And while I was at Exegol that I nearly failed or retreated, until the spark which had become a fire finally arrived with Lando and the entire fleet from the whole galaxy. They had done it, and Leia was right about what she’d said about new hope. I believe in her, Rey.”
Then a single tear fell from his eye, and he wiped it away. “Anyway, that was then before the war was over and it was time to move on. But i’m here now with my dad to start a new life, right from the start.”
He took a breath like he’s relaxed from bereavement as he runs his hand through his hair. “So, um…how’s Tatooine?” he asked. “Beebee-Ate told me.”
“Hot during the day, and cold at night,” she said, walking over and staring out at the lake as she felt the gentle wind behind her. “It looks fairly different than Jakku. And it’s not to be lightly traveled, that desert planet.”
“Did you find what you’ve looking for at Uncle Luke’s place?” he asked, watching the most beautiful Jedi he had ever seen standing on the very edge of the lake.
After exploring across the galaxy, and revisiting Ahch-To, her final stop had been the Lars homestead in the Great Chott flat on Tatooine. The moisture farm had remained abandoned, it was there where she buried Anakin and Leia's lightsabers. She stayed there for a while in peace and tranquility, staring at the striking blue and gold sunrise of the twin suns.
“Nothing special,” answered Rey after took a long breath. She picked up a small stone and threw and skipped it across the water. “But, there’s one who came and visited me before I left.”
“Luke?”
“No, it was Leia,” she said, turning her back to him. “She told me everything about Ben, about the pain he’d suffered, that there was still good inside of him, and she could feel it before she died.”
After a moment, Poe sighed as Rey went on. “Leia told me about you, Poe. Not so feisty as you’d think since when you were with her.”
“Oh, please,” he said like he’s was fooling around. “What was our second mom saying?”
“She wanted to know how you felt to be without guidance. Your instinct as a leader was genuinely unsurpassable, and it was such a difficult situation with what you did out there. She was pleased with you, Poe.”
Poe missed having Aunt Leia by his side during the war after Shara’s passing. He was just amazed by the miracles in the galaxy.
“When if she comes as a ghost to see you,” said Poe with a light smile. “tell her to say thank you, will you?”
“There’s more,” she said, this time sincerely. “Leia told me that I was her last wish for you—it’s because I’m your gift, Poe. I hadn’t noticed this before we met––”
Poe moved closer to her and felt the way her body relaxed against his. He placed his finger gently on her lips to silence her. “Enough, sweetheart. You’ve talked too much, and I know the exact words that she said to me.”
“Oh, there is something else,” she added with a sigh, leaning her forehead to his, and held her hands on his chest, clutching her fingers against the fabric of Poe’s flight uniform. “While I was still meditating with the tree, and I felt a presence that was unforgettable.”
They stood looking at each other in serenity and longing as the sunlight gleamed on the surface of the Yavinesque lake around them.
“It’s about us, Poe.” she whispered as her breath hitches. She closed her eyes like she was praying.
His heartbeat skipped a beat, and his eyes blinked as though he couldn’t believe what she was saying. “Tell me,” he murmured, as his eyes closed with hers.
“I remember at Crait when you were bewildering me while I used the Force to lift rocks and help you, Finn, and the rest of the Resistance to escape. Then we met at the Falcon, and as we shared about our pain by Ben and then Snoke, we were truly connected. Then we bickered with each other like feral Loth-cats about the Falcon being on fire because of your habit on lightspeed skipping,” Poe snorted at that as Rey lightly chuckled before continuing. “We fought alongside with Finn against the First Order from time to time. And while on a mission, you protected me that I fought my Palpatine bloodline against turning to the Dark Lord’s throne and falling to the Dark Side. And when I was ready for heading to Exegol to face my grandfather, were still arguing that I didn’t need you to safeguard or watch over me anymore. But you  still protected me because you were deeply in love from the beginning without telling me.”
And Poe moved to hold her gently, then ran his hands smoothly along her arms and between her neck and her face. His head moved up as his lips brushed softly against her forehead. Rey flutters her eyes blissfully as she let her saying the words to flow. He whispered with kisses, from one of her eyelids to her cheek, and then that close to her mouth. Rey sighed with bliss and felt the feathery touch of his breath against her skin.
She went on: “Then the other day during the victory celebration, the night we shared each other in the deep of the forest when we made love...as the Force enlivened inside of our deepest emotions we shared, and preserved this moment forever. And when we left Ajan Kloss at dawn in our separate ways, I felt that my presence was inside still  in your heart and soul, and that you would be waiting for me when I returned from across the galaxy. And now…” she paused for a second with her eyes opened, and Poe instantly stopped kissing her while his eyes stared lovingly at hers. “Poe?”
“What?” he asked, his expression beguiling.
“Why did you stop?” she asked, begging him to continue in his dawdling manner.
“Why did you stop,” he asked. “I wouldn’t know until you allow me to say so.”
Her breath hitched, then she choked up like she was almost crying, and they were both quiet for a moment until her face rested on his shoulder and Poe moved his hand to gently fondle her head.
“I came for you, Poe,” she declared softly at last with her eyes closed. “And I’m here…right here.”
He smiled peacefully, pressing his lips against the crown of her head. “Well, you’re here right now, my Lady Jedi,” he replies. “And I love you.”
With hindsight, she took his hand from her head and placed it gently on her abdomen.
Poe‘s eyes were stunned and surprised, and his mouth parted in wonder. Rey cocked her head to face him and smiled at him.
“No way,” he stammered, furrowing his brows. “Rey, you’re––”
“Does it surprise you, General?”
As their heartbeats touched each other’s chest, Poe’s permission was written into the desperation of with which his mouth met hers, something like a sense of contentment that he shared with her. He wanted more than anything is to be with her eternally.
Two hearts and one home. Poe discerned in thought.
“So you’re staying with me, Rey,” Poe said as his eyes gleamed and smirked. “And if you live to be a hundred?”
Rey laughed joyfully. Tears flowed down on her cheeks, and he gently wiped them away with his thumb. “I hope to live to be a hundred minus a day.” she sniffed in jest.
He chuckled thoughtfully with one brow widened. He nodded and caressed Rey’s face as she looked at him. “So that I never have to live a day without you.”
She leaned her forehead against his. The Force inspirited their emotions because of love, and the heart of the galaxy was forever changed.
“I love you, Space Porg.” she murmured.
Instead of calling her ‘Desert Rat,’ he decided to call her from now on.
“I know, Buttercup,” he answers softly, pulling her gently and returning his lips to hers. “I know.”

Biology note: This is mpreg but NOT omegaverse. All genders have both reproductive systems, meaning anybody of any gender can get anyone else pregnant. Men and women exist, but gender presentation is a result of how things are arranged/presented. I'm not super into getting into a ton of details about this. Handwave, handwave.
Note about language: I made the conscious choice not to render anyone's dialogue in a particular accent or dialect, as I felt that in this setting it would be a distraction. We're gonna go with "everyone in the story is fluent in whatever language you'd like them to be speaking."
Note to my existing readers: This is my first story in this fandom. If you have followed me here from Sherlock or another fandom, please take note of the tags - this is unlike anything I've ever written before. My first foray into mpreg or RPF. If those things don't work for you, that's fine, then this fic isn't for you. No need to inform me.
Thank you to burning-up-a-sun and luckie_dee for excellent beta services, and to ljummen and right-of-the-curve for reading and reacting as I banged this out in record time.
-------
Zhenya had hoped to sleep in on his last morning as a bachelor, but his eyes flew open just past dawn and would not close again.
His wedding day. The culmination of several years’ work -- the selection of his consort-to-be, the negotiations, the contracts, the preparations...all of which he’d had minimal part in, because one simply didn’t arrange their own marriage, let alone their own embargoed marriage.
He lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, going over and over it in his mind. Ceremony, blessing, consummation, and then...life as usual? Regular people had celebrations after their weddings. They gathered together with their friends and families, ate and drank, danced and celebrated along with the person they’d just married. Lots of photos, smiling faces, Instagram posts and hashtags.
For embargoed spouses, such celebrations were pointless. It was hard to rejoice with your new life partner when you weren’t allowed to see or speak to them, or even to know their name.
All that he knew about the consort was that he was from New Scotland, was Zhenya’s age, and of noble blood. It had been tempting to at least Google him, but poking around an embargo like that was inappropriate, not to mention insulting to the significant sacrifice being made by his new consort. This man had agreed to a restrictive situation to become Zhenya’s husband and bear his child -- the least Zhenya could do was respect his decision. Besides, the consort’s entire online presence would have been digitally embargoed by the palace tech team, which was really meant to shield him from the rest of the world’s snooping, but also served to thwart tempted spouses.
Zhenya’s parents had asked for quite a bit of input about what sort of person he hoped for as a life partner. They had already known that he preferred a male spouse, and had accepted his one additional condition for a match, but beyond that, he trusted them. He’d known since childhood that his marriage would be arranged and had accepted it, was even grateful for it. It was difficult to meet people when you were a Prince. Zhenya had dated his fair share of men, but he was never sure about their motives -- was his money a factor? his status? his fame? -- and his dates were often put off by the press attention, not to mention the trappings of royalty. He thought his chances of finding happiness with a spouse selected by his parents were possibly better, and certainly no worse. Besides, he didn’t really have it in him to rebel. Refusing to have an embargoed arrangement would be a serious break with tradition, and the very idea was just -- exhausting.
Sasha, his boisterous, gap-toothed valet, banged into the room at 7:00 a.m. sharp; Zhenya groaned and pulled a pillow over his head. “None of that, now. We have to make you look royal, so God knows we need every last second.” Sasha grabbed the blankets and yanked them off. Zhenya yelped and curled into a tight comma on the bed. “Up, you lazy, posh twat.”
“Why did I make you my valet. Why,” Zhenya said, muffled into his pillow. Sasha had not come up through the ranks of the palace staff, as most valets did. He had been a teammate of Zhenya’s on their university hockey team, and some fit of insanity had led Zhenya to conclude that his total lack of finesse in matters of protocol and politics was appropriate for the job.
“Because you knew I wouldn’t put up with your bullshit and you were right. You’re getting married today, so let’s try and fool all these rubes into thinking you’ve got class, eh?”
Zhenya slumped out of bed, only to be manhandled out of his pajamas by Sasha. “Hey!”
He snorted. “Like I’ve never seen your dick before. And a lot more people are going to be seeing it today, so get over it. Shower, now.”
Zhenya spent the morning being scrubbed, polished, trimmed, neatened, and perfumed to within an inch of his life. Breakfast was brought in, an unusually light meal. “Are they afraid I’m going to throw up?” he grumbled, eating his toast.
“Probably. Are you?”
“No.”
“You’re not nervous?”
“I’m a little anxious. Excited. What’s to be nervous about?”
“I mean…” Sasha made vague gestures all around him at everything.
Zhenya swallowed and sipped at his tea. “Have you heard...anything?”
“I’m gonna need you to be more specific.”
He rolled his eyes. “About my betrothed.”
“Even if I had, I wouldn’t be allowed to share it. If you want to know, you’ll have to hire a hacker to un-embargo his Instagram.” Zhenya just looked at him. Sasha sighed. “All I know is that he and his entourage arrived two nights ago.”
“‘Entourage?”
“His parents are with him, and he’s got his own guards. He’ll have the guards until he’s unveiled. You knew that, right?”
“I know.”
“Other than that they’re all keeping to their quarters. He’s not supposed to be seen until the wedding.”
“He’s not going to be seen after the wedding! Not that anybody knows what he looks like. He could be walking around the palace in a bathing suit eating peaches and nobody would know it was him.”
“The embargo is for your own good, and his. And the kingdom’s.”
“I get it.” And he did, really. If his consort hadn’t conceived within a year, he would be replaced, and that process would be a lot easier for everyone involved if he, and the citizens, hadn’t gotten attached to him. Hence, the embargo. At least, that’s what the clerics said. Endlessly. “I understand the principle. It’s just going to take some getting used to, being married to someone and having sex with him without seeing his face or talking to him.”
Sasha snorted. “C’mon, Zhenya. You’ve had more than your share of hookups.”
“So?”
“How many of their names can you remember, or even their faces? You’re telling me you had deep conversations with them?”
“That’s different. This man will be my husband.”
“I heard that the prince of Patagonia and his consort broke their embargo and fell in love. She didn’t get pregnant so she had to leave, they were both heartbroken, he almost abdicated his throne, it was a horrible mess, he wouldn’t sleep with the new consort and so she had to be replaced, the first consort was disgraced and went into hiding, nobody knows what happened to her and he’s a giant ball of depression.”
Zhenya blinked. “That’s terrible.”
“Honor your embargo, Zhenya.”
He sighed. “I intend to.”
Embargoed marriage ceremonies were small, private affairs. The unveiling was really the big public spectacle, when the kingdom could at last meet their prince’s husband. The wedding was more for the clerical blessing and the witnessed consummation, and a huge gathering for that was considered unseemly. Zhenya had been trained since childhood not to feel immodest for this occasion, but he was still glad that there would only be a few witnesses present.
He walked to the chapel in his custom-made marriage robes, simple but lush as was the current style. Standing outside the chamber were six of his consort’s guards. Their uniforms were pleasingly clean-lined, black and tailored with deep gold trim, and they snapped to attention as he approached, disciplined and in perfect formation. Zhenya nodded to them -- he imagined he’d be getting to know them soon enough -- and passed through.
A heavy drape hung in the center of the dais with a small hole cut in it for their hands to pass through. Zhenya took his place on the left, nodding to the head cleric. He heard rustling from the other side of the drape and a shadow fell upon it; his new consort had taken his place on the other side.
They did not speak during the ceremony, as their embargo forbade them from hearing one another’s voices. The cleric spoke to them; they acknowledged his words with nods of assent to his questions and directives. When he bade them do so, they joined hands through the hole in the drape. Zhenya noted that his betrothed’s hand was square and strong, and gripped his without hesitation, exhibiting no sign of a nervous tremor. A promising start. He shut his eyes and sent up a prayer to whatever deity might be handy...please, let me like him. Please, let him get pregnant quickly. Let him be smart. And if it’s not too much to ask, please, let him be...not hideous.
“You are joined,” the cleric concluded, simply. Two deacons appeared and removed the drape.
His consort was dressed in elegant marriage robes of his own, including a cape and a veil that hid him from view entirely save for his hands. The only new information Zhenya received with the removal of the drape was his consort’s height, about half a head shorter than Zhenya. He smiled at his new husband and they bowed to each other. Zhenya watched as his consort made a silent greeting to his parents, the Duke and Duchess of New Scotland, who Zhenya did not know at all. With over seventeen thousand peerage titles in the world, one couldn’t meet them all, or even a tiny fraction. The consort’s guards had materialized in the chapel and now surrounded their master and escorted him off the dais and off into the chamber where the next and final step would happen.
Zhenya turned to receive his own parents’ congratulations, and a back-slapping hug from Sasha, wildly overstepping his role as a valet as usual. Zhenya’s father rolled his eyes but didn’t chastise him; his parents loved Sasha as they loved Zhenya himself. More, he sometimes suspected.
The cleric hovered at Zhenya’s elbow. “Your Royal Highness, you are awaited in the antechamber.”
Sasha winked at him. “Good luck. Do it right the first time and this embargo can end quickly.”
“I don’t think it’s entirely up to me,” Zhenya said, but he hoped for the same. He couldn’t imagine waiting for months on end, walking on eggshells every day, everyone looking askance at him if it dragged on and wondering at his virility if he failed to impregnate his spouse. As if it would be for lack of trying.
He followed the cleric into the antechamber. His consort would have gone on ahead to be prepared and arranged by his personal attendants, although Zhenya wasn’t quite sure what that meant, beyond the obvious. This situation was generally not intended to produce arousal in both parties, so he damn well hoped that his consort’s “preparation” involved vaginal lubrication of some kind, for both of their comfort. He’d find out soon enough, but first there was still all manner of ceremonial mumbo-jumbo to attend to.
Zhenya wasn’t particularly devout, a fact he kept mostly to himself. At minimum, a visible attention to custom was expected and valued by the citizens, and Zhenya had no wish to disappoint them, or more accurately, to give them cause to distrust him. He respected the beliefs of his parents (mostly his mother) and of the clerics, but he’d have dispensed with the whole rigmarole if he’d had his choice. But this was his duty, so he stood quietly and allowed the clerics to say their blessings over him and waft their burning herbs as his outer robes were removed.
Underneath his robes were his tunic and trousers, which had been made with a flap at the front (“easy access,” Sasha had joked). He wouldn’t undress further than this, at least not for this ceremonial consummation. He’d be expected to achieve a minimum objective today, the most that could be hoped for in these high-pressure and decidedly not private circumstances.
One of the sub-clerics stood at his side. “Your Royal Highness, will you require assistance readying yourself?” he asked, quietly. Sasha, lurking behind him, snorted.
“Assistance?” Zhenya said, puzzled...but then it hit him. He was being asked if he’d need help getting it up. It stood to reason that he might, with people watching and the Fate of the Kingdom Depending and blah blah blah. Anxiety was not typically the friend of erections. The sub-cleric was offering a helping hand, so to speak. Zhenya had heard stories. Supposedly there’d once been a groom nervous enough that the sub-cleric had to use his mouth on him before he could manage it.
Zhenya didn’t think he’d need quite that much assistance; indeed, he hoped he wouldn’t need any. “Let’s...proceed, and we’ll see,” he said. The sub-cleric nodded and went to the door into the main chamber.
It was dim inside, fragrant with burning herbs. Several clerics were lined up at the far side of the room, chanting quietly. Behind a screen stood half a dozen shadowy figures; witnesses, drawn from the nobility and the royal family. Zhenya didn’t know who was back there and he didn’t care to know. He would likely never know; it was considered rude to disclose one’s presence at such an occasion. Zhenya had himself been a witness at his cousin’s consummation five years ago. You really couldn’t see much at all, through the screen and the awkward angle.
At the moment, however, his attention was captivated by the bed in the center of the room, and his consort upon it. He was laid out on his stomach, covered in drapes even including his head -- Zhenya worried for a moment if he could breathe adequately under there. Two of his guards stood at the head of the bed, eyes fixed firmly forward. The drapes extended from over his consort’s head past his feet, and in the center was an oval-shaped cutout exposing what was, without question, the most fantastic backside Zhenya had ever seen in his life, and he’d seen his fair share.
No. He would not be needing assistance. In fact, he felt himself swelling at the sight of just this one part of his new consort’s body. It was odd, and unexpectedly titillating, to be presented with a more-or-less disembodied ass, even if he could see the shape of the rest of the man under the drape -- but, he supposed, that titillation shouldn’t really be unexpected; why else did glory holes exist? Not that he’d ever partaken of such things, in clubs, in his slightly-wilder youth, absolutely not. But this was his husband, not a late night quickie. It wouldn’t be like this all the time, he assured himself. This was just for the ceremonial bit. Future couplings would be much less...ritualized.
They were all looking at him, waiting for him to get to it, but there was a step to be taken first. He glanced at the cleric and nodded. The cleric hesitated, then moved to the head of the bed. This was Zhenya’s personal addition to the ceremonies, and the cleric had been reluctant to deviate from the traditional sequence of events, but Zhenya had insisted.
He had no interest in a spouse who’d been forced into marrying him, as he’d made sure his parents understood before they set out to find him one. “I do have one condition, and it is non-negotiable,” he’d said.
His father had looked surprised. “What is it, son?”
“I require absolute assurance that any consort of mine enters into marriage to me of their own free will, and not under duress.”
His parents had exchanged a glance. “That should not be difficult; marriage into our family is considered very desirable.”
“Be that as it may, I need you to promise me, Father..”
His father had nodded, and seemed even pleased by this directive. “You have my word, son.”
And now, the cleric spoke to the consort on Zhenya’s behalf. “Your Highness,” he said, using the man’s new title -- after the embargo was lifted, he would become His Royal Highness, the same honorific that Zhenya received. “Prince Evgeni wishes me to ask you for your consent before he joins with you.” Zhenya saw the consort’s head turn to the side. “He values your agreement to this consummation.”
The man hesitated. Zhenya saw the surprise in his shoulders. His head turned further,  seeming to look back over his shoulder at Zhenya, and he nodded.
The cleric straightened up. “Does this satisfy Your Royal Highness?” There was just a touch of “are you happy now?” impatience in the cleric’s voice which Zhenya chose to ignore.
Zhenya nodded. He removed his gloves and handed them to Sasha, who was being appropriately quiet and invisible for once in his life. He unbuttoned the flap on the front of his trousers; he was half-erect already and filling fast.
He knelt on the bed. He wasn’t supposed to make any unnecessary contact this first time, but he couldn’t help but run his hands briefly over his husband’s smooth, muscular rear. Just like that, he was fully hard and more than ready. He placed his knees within the drapery cutout on either side of the consort’s hips; the man shifted slightly, spreading his thighs a little bit to give him room. Zhenya reached back and tucked his cock down and against the man’s entrance, relieved to find that he was, indeed, slick. He pressed forward and entered him; Zhenya stifled a groan and felt a shudder pass over the man beneath him. He was tight and warm; Zhenya held still for a moment with his eyes closed and hips pressed against his consort’s impossibly plump ass.
He braced on his hands and shut his eyes, making smooth, even thrusts. There’d be time later to investigate what kind of sex his husband enjoyed, but now was the time to be quick about it and get the job done. He tried to visualize success, as the clerics liked to say during their instruction, and picture his seed finding its target and blossoming in his consort’s womb. The minimum embargo time was three months; even if he conceived right now, early pregnancy was so delicate that it wasn’t considered official until the three--month mark. After carrying to three months, the consort was accepted into the family and unveiled, even if the child was subsequently lost.
Zhenya had often wondered about consorts who failed to conceive and were replaced. Who was to say that it was their fault? Both parties underwent pre-marriage medical testing to minimize this risk, but bodies were unpredictable. Of course it might not be the consort’s fault; the would-be sire could just as easily be the one whose biology failed them, but such a thing could not be admitted for a royal scion. He’d heard one tale, possibly apocryphal, of a prince whose consort hadn’t conceived -- unwilling to accept defeat, the prince had asked his consort to get him pregnant, which she had done, and their embargo was released.
The contemplation of such machinations was premature, he knew. He and his new consort had only just begun.
As keyed up as he was, it didn’t take long for him to finish. He thrust in deep and spilled, clenching his teeth against the desire to cry out. He felt his consort sigh and press back against him a little, a welcome signal of acknowledgment. Zhenya let his head droop for a moment, then straightened up and pulled out. Sasha was right there with a cloth for him to clean himself before he refastened his pants.
The cleric stepped forward and blessed the union, prayers for the success of the joining, yadda yadda. Zhenya barely paid attention. Sasha was replacing his robe on him, but all Zhenya could do was look at the draped form of his new husband, especially the one part of it that he could see, and hope that it wouldn’t be too long before he could see the rest of it.
He let Sasha lead him out of the chamber, glad that was over -- but in another, very real sense, it was just beginning. He was now a married man, with a responsibility to his consort, who was at something of a disadvantage in this situation. He hoped he could be a good, supportive husband to him, until at last the day came that he’d be allowed to see his face.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Summary: Ace, Sabo, and Luffy become Marines. While Garp is happy his grandsons are Marines he’s not happy to see the first commander of the Whitebeard pirates, the captain of the infamous Heart Pirates, and his son’s second in command trying to get with his grandsons and turn them into pirates.
Chapter 1: Garp’s gamble
He’d be the first to admit that he was not meant to be around children, especially with the way Dragon turned out. Seriously? The most wanted man in the world as well as becoming leader of the Revolutionary army? Garp’s fist of Love may or may not have caused the poor boy some brain damage or maybe he was always meant to be a rebel. His teen years were a nightmare for his wife.
Either way, Dragon should be the prime example as to why he shouldn’t be around children deep down Garp felt that if he touched them he would ruin them for whatever future they would want to have.
And yet, that didn’t matter to Gol D. Roger, right before his execution Roger asked Garp for a favor and that was to take care of his son and pregnant wife. At first Garp thought the man was crazy, seriously him? Taking care of a child, and not just any child but the Pirate King’s child? He should have refused, should have told him no and give him every reason why he shouldn’t be anywhere near a child, Dragon being the prime example.
But he didn’t.
Instead he took the child in and a tiny part of him couldn’t help but wonder that he was his second chance to give this child what Roger and Rouge couldn’t and where he failed with Dragon.
When Dragon came to him and told him about his grandson, Luffy and told him to take care of Luffy Garp should have reminded him how he basically left Dragon to raise himself. Of course, he understood why he couldn’t send him to his other parent, the man was a dangerous pirate. One of the dangerous men to cross the sea so Dragon was trusting his father with the care of his son.
Garp should have smack the boy for getting involve with a pirate a Yonko no less and refuse to take care of his boy, Luffy.
But he didn’t.
Instead he took to Dadan where he left Ace so that she could take care of them and thought they would be okay.
He was wrong.
Sabo another boy they met and decided he would be their brother got hurt and would have died had it not been for Shanks, Luffy’s father who saved the poor boy before he could be blasted to little pieces.
To make things worse both Makino and Dadan told him of Shanks plans to take all three boys with him. Garp decided to do the one thing that he should have done in the beginning. The one thing he should have done with Dragon when the boy became a teenager.
Take the boys back to Marineford to be Marines.
He knew it was a great risk to take since both Luffy and Ace had pirate blood flowing through the veins. Luffy with Shanks and Ace with both Roger and Rouge. Not to mention how all three of them wanted to be free and live their lives with no rules or regrets.
While he didn’t have any connection with Sabo like he did with Luffy and Ace he still felt an attachment towards the boy when he first met him. Something about the boy reminded him of Dragon.
Which is why he had to do whatever he could to save them from being hunted down like animals and being killed.
He already spoke with Sengekou and he promised that as long as Ace and Luffy stayed on the side of the Marines then neither of them would be killed and their parents would be kept a secret.
Garp would have to play his cards right especially with Luffy, since he found out his relations to Shanks, the boy was excited to have him as a father and even more excited to know he would go out to sea with him.
Still, Garp had to take a chance, a chance to save his grandsons before Death took them from him.
Taking a deep breath Garp headed towards the boys’ room and hoped for the best.
He found the boys sitting crisscrossed in the center of their room, each one with a smile on their face as they talked about going out to sea with Shanks and his crew.
“Boys,” Garp interrupted them. The boys screamed at the sound of his voice before they began to scramble to their feet to get away from him.
Garp felt his eye twitched before he grabbed them by the scruff of their necks and dropped them on their bed.
He watched as both Sabo and Luffy tried to hide behind Ace who was trying to look tough but Garp could see a little fear in him.
“Listen up brats, I am taking you all with me to Marinefort,” he said looking at them with a cold expression showing them he meant business.
“What?! Why?!” Ace shouted his fear was now replaced with anger.
“Because, I heard about Shanks and his plans to take you out to sea,”
“My dad! Hey Gramps, did you know he’s my dad?! Luffy asked, his smile was wide and bright it almost made Garp smile, almost.
“Yes, Luffy I knew. I didn’t tell you because I didn’t think Shanks knew or that it matter but I was wrong, on both accounts so now I am taking you and your brothers to Marinefort where you will be train to become Marines,”
“Why would we want that?” Sabo asked, he owe Shanks his life for saving him, as well as bringing him back to his brothers so why would he give up the opportunity to explore the world and be free?
Garp took a deep breath, he knew what he was doing, that he was about to manipulate these boys but if it meant that they will live to be his age then Garp would gladly lie to them.
“Because brats, I’m trying to protect you three,”
He looked at Ace who’s mask of ferocity turned to terror as he realized what Garp was about to say next.
“Ace, they found out the truth about you, I don’t know how but they know who you are and who’s your father,”
Okay that was a lie, it was Garp who told them, but Ace did not have to know that.
“They said they would come here to arrest you, I however spoke with Sengeku, only he knows and I was able to struck a deal with him if you become a Marine then nothing will happen. You won’t be hunted down and will get a chance to live,”
Ace looked scared the mere thought that someone outside of his family knowing his secret and that they will hunt him down frighten him. The thought that they can come here and hurt him…thoughts of Luffy and Sabo getting hurt because of him invaded his mind.
Images of their bodies covered in blood, their screams calling for help clouded his head. He would do anything for his brothers even if it meant becoming a Marine.
“If…if I become a Marine…Luffy and Sabo will be okay?”
Inside Garp’s heart was breaking especially with seeing the look of fear and defeat on his grandson but he had to remain strong,
“It’s for their own good, I need to protect them in any way that I can,”
“Yes,”
Ace nodded his head, he grabbed his orange hat, the one Luffy and Sabo gave him for his birthday and placed it on his lap.
“Okay…I’ll…I’ll become a marine,”
Sabo and Luffy looked at Ace, their brother was trying to protect them shouldering the weight of the world on his shoulder and doing whatever he can to save his brothers.
Luffy and Sabo looked at one another they couldn’t let Ace do this alone, sure they could become pirates but…then they would run into Ace…and they would have to fight each other…not like their training sessions but an actual physical confrontation and that was something they didn’t want to do.
They knew what they had to do, even if it meant giving up their dreams, they would do it, for Ace they would sacrifice everything for him.
Garp looked at Luffy and Sabo who removed their hats before looking at their laps.
“So, will we,” they said.
Garp couldn’t help but smile a little on the inside, however…he felt a piece of him die.
