I recently had the opportunity to buy a cheap "blind box" laptop; essentially you pay a relatively small amount for a refurbished laptop with the guarantee that you'll get at least certain specs -- a minimum hard drive size, minimum processing speed, etc -- but with the understanding that it may be scratch-and-dent or have weird extra features.

He smirked. “Or…” He started. And before you knew it he was on the other side of the vehicle, where your car would shield him from any potential passersby, with you sitting in the passenger seat.
