Why is it so hard for everyone to understand that Russia is straight? Every fucking one in this fandom headcanons him as gay, gay, gay! He can be straight too, fuckers.

It's so tiring, especially since Russia is my boyfriend too. I've literally been shifting to the Hetalia universe for like a year now, and he told me straight up that he is STRAIGHT and NOT ATTRACTED TO MEN! Yet this fandom keeps shipping him with men. All. The. Fucking. Time.

Like, no offense to gay people or anything, but is it that hard to comprehend that he's not gay? He's fucking RUSSIA for fuck's sake! Being gay is illegal there!

And also, stop shipping him with his enemies. America does not love him, they hate each other! Neither does Lithuania love him because he's straight and with Belarus! And China literally has a genderbend you can ship Russia with, so you don't have to ship him with the male version! CAUSE HES STRAIGHT!!

*sighs* I'm just really tired, especially as his girlfriend because whenever someone says he's gay or he's in a relationship with America or someone else he would NEVER get in a relationship with because he's STRAIGHT, I feel like I'm being erased. And I feel like I'm... I'm not worth...

I have a main favorite character which is Canada and he's mostly been more favorite but sometimes Sweden, Switzerland or Netherlands has. But after my 1st favorite they all kinda tie together and mush together so hard to really make a list of them.

Recently got dragged back into the fandom and I like your take on the reveal stuff! I always had a soft spot for em, and I was wondering what other headcanons you had for America? Or maybe if you see him as this unshippable character that's just a bro to everyone lol

America was literally MADE for fame. He loves making public appearances, being on TV, and posting on social media. He's always doing something crazy, whether it be climbing the Statue of Liberty, or trying to build a rocket in his backyard.

America makes all kinds of posts. They usually involve memes, comics, superhero shows, dangerous stunts, or jokes about trending topics. His instagram is a mix between "Official pictures", gym pics, parties, and selfies with other nations. Whenever he posts a picture with England, it's a common trend to find England's POV on his instagram and compare the two contrasting attitudes.

He also has a cooking series on YouTube and Tiktok (That Canada usually co-stars in). It's basically become a matter of "Which foreign dish will he bastardize this week?" He's a good cook, but everything he makes is extremely American. A lot of his other videos involve him trying to rope Canada into trying a dumb challenge together. America also does viral dances. He thinks those videos are popular because people like his dance skills. But they're actually popular because he's a hottie. He's completely oblivious to that fact.

America is so meme-ified that it's a little jarring to see him carrying out official duties. There are some people who tweeted stuff like "Why is Alfred with Obama?!" before realizing he's literally the NP and not just a funny American dude. I imagine this has always been the case, like when America fought in WWI, people were like "Oh damn I see you".

As for your last sentence, you're kinda right 🤣 I personally see him as aromantic. But also see him as someone who enjoys getting laid, so I ship him in that way. But I'm not telling you who I ship him with because it's a secret shhhh...

Antis will bash people for liking Spamano or USUK but then somehow be fans of Hetalia…a series in which Spain proposed to Romano…and England gave America chocolates for Valentine’s Day (and that’s only two strips among loads of other shippy scenes).

Make it make sense,

Maybe if you can’t handle ships based on ship fuel that’s canonically in the series, then go find a series that’s more suited to your taste…? Or go touch some grass and come back once you’ve eased up.

Frankenstein's Monster except the monster in question is feeling very lonely and frightened after being resurrected and isn't much of a monster at all (which may or may not be the point of the book)

This might become a fanfic if I can be bothered to write it, I do have a lot of ideas for it and have been very normal about this prumano AU for a while now 💯

Anyway what inspired this AU was the real life history behind Castle Frankenstein which at the time of actually having residents was located on Prussian territory and DID in fact have a guy attempting to make immortality elixirs and gold and the like. He only really created the Prussian blue color but shoutout to him for this gay country AU I guess

Always treasure in my heart the canon that France and Spain used to exchange letters (thank you, Pierre).

Most of the time it must be political stuff, but I like to think that they sometimes quoted a lot of poems to express their personal feelings for each other. For me, poetry is something very Frain.

I can imagine they had a big quarrel again and France had not written to him for a long time. Spain waited for Pierre for days (and also checked his mailbox so many times), but there was no new letter from France.

France is usually very sweet and romantic with him, but personally, I think Spain is one of the few people who knows how intense France's rage can be. Their personal relationship is also full of troubles and disagreements, not just hearty meals and fresh roses.

France often came to him when he needed joy and comfort, but what if Spain could not bring those things to him?

Instead of a long letter pouring everything out (which Spain would actually like to do at some desperate moment), he would quote some lines from Lorca's ''Gacela del recuerdo del amor'' to send to France.

''No te lleves tu recuerdo. Déjalo solo en mi pecho, temblor de blanco cerezo en el martirio de enero.'' (Don't take your memory with you. Let it stay here in my heart, a shivering white cherry tree in the torment of January. English translation by Paul Archer of Lorca's Gacela del recuerdo de amor.)

You can understand how France's heart is filled with complex explosions when reading those lines. He longs for Spain again. And France would quote ''El poeta pide a su amor que le escriba'' by Lorca to reply:

El aire es inmortal, la piedra inerte ni conoce la sombra ni la evita. Corazón interior no necesita la miel helada que la luna vierte. Their dispute certainly does not go away and will still linger in some corner of the relationship. Maybe one day it will jump out and swallow both of them.

But France and Spain come back together and that is the only thing they care about that day.
