What is House of Anubis? I heard of it and wonder if I should watch it?

House of Anubis is an old nickelodeon kids show from the early 2010s about a group of teenage boarding school students who solve Egyptian mysteries. And it’s the English remake of the Dutch show Het Huis Anubis. The Dutch version is the original version of the story and it’s slightly more mature themed (for example, the kids can cuss a little bit and the stories are less PG Nickelodeon, if that makes sense). I highly recommend you watch both shows, because the stories and lore are so insanely well written and intriguing. I just know you’ll fall in love with the characters. Just keep in mind (with the English version especially) that it’s a show made for kids/teens, so the writing will be a little silly at times, and it’s okay to give it some grace in that regard. Anyways, I hope you watch it and love it!

The Mamber plotline in early season one is so fucking different between HHA and HOA like HOA is just a clueless blonde trying to have fun while managing school, blissfully unaware of everything going on. Meanwhile Mick in HHA straight up gaslights Amber after very noticably having SOMETHING going on with Mara, who obviously likes him, and having her cheat for him rather than the Mick who was apalled she would do that to him in HOA.

......Fuck I've held off from posting about anything besides HOA on this blog I need to reign myself in.

This is the article Jeroen looks at about his dad, it talks about the fraud and everything, but after I paused I noticed this:

It’s not very clear (in the black area of the screenshot) and the sentence isn’t finished but with context it basically says “it didn’t take long for the mother to kick her son out” (“en het duurde ook niet lang voor de moeder haar zoon uit huis…”).

Like. Did he have to deal with a lot of reporters on the subject? Does he worry about the others in Anubis finding this article? To know that everyone can just read that your mom didn’t want you, that’s rough.
