omg i just need to rant to someone about this but i was reading a multiverse fic and a bunch of izukus r married but out of all the ones introduced he just marries the same 4 women no matter what. like. there should be universe where hes gay where hes bi etc but no he marries ochako melissa yaomomo or kendo in every universe the only time this diverges is when male izuku marries female bakugo or female izu marries male bakugo. ITS A MULTIVERSE WITH SHIT LOADS OF MIDOS THE AUTHOR HAS THE POTENTIAL TO MAKE EVERY ONE HAPPY BUT THEY DONT!! plus to make it worse there seems to be ZERO gay people in general every couple that doesnt have an izuku in it is het its so fucking irritating....anyways....someone rec something good and gay bakudeku/tododeku/todobakudeku/monodeku/shindeku/kamideku/etc etc idc those r my faves tho💪🏼😔

You're not going to like it but I am going to say it anyway.

An author can write whatever they want as long as they tag it correctly.

If an author wants to make all of Izuku's relationship het through their multiverse, they absolutely can do it because it's their fics and they should write what they like. The same thing applies if the character is aroace and doesn't get any partner or if the character is only gay.

Heya! So I wanted to know what you think of IzuOcha? Cuz it's one of the few "canon" straight ship I really like x) and your other bnha ship? Like obviously TodoDeku, ShinDeku and ShinTodoDeku but what else?

They’re cute but I don’t really ship it. I normally don’t ship the obligatory shonen het ship tbh but that doesn’t mean I love Uraraka any less though.

As for other BnHA ships I Izuku-focus so they mostly involve him. Like I like AiDeku if handled correctly (aged up, time travel, Au, etc etc) and I’ve read a aged-up DabiDeku AU I liked, etc etc. 

But background ships I like are EraserMic, BakugoKirishima, MomoJirou, OchaTsuyu, IidaOcha, to name a few

Bnha ships

I recently updated my fandom list and my hero academia was on the list, I also said I might make a list of ships from some of those fandoms. I'm starting with bnha because theres a lot I love/like and its really easy to ship people in it. ATTENTION: if you don't like a pairing on the list thats fine, not everyone will agree with eachother wjen it comes to shipping. I'm a person who believes that as long as you know the difference between fiction and reality (so don't do fictional stuff like murder, torture, etc in real life) you aren't a bad person. So please be kind when interacting with people whos ships differ from yours. I'll write the ship name and which characters it entails.

Dekubowl- deku is just a character I can see ending up with anyone. I do have some deku ships I love more than others tho.

Queer pairings:

Bakudeku- bakugou and deku are my top two favorite characters from the series and a lot of my favorite moments are interactions/development between the two. Bakugou and Midoriya.

Shindeku- I live for grumpy/sunshine ships theyre so cute. These two just seem made for eachother. Shinsou and Midoriya.

Kirideku- grump/sunshine is great but sunshine/sunshine is blinding with how sweet it is, though for specifially these two they're more like an eclipse (maybe not the best word) but they give off so much happiness and motivation I forget they both have a lot of issues with themselves and thier pasts.

Momo x Jiro (earlobe girl)- these two are really cute. Thats it thats the whole reason I like it they look cute.

Ochako x tsuyu- something about these two in the anime made me think they would be a great team (as hero's and girlfriends).

Erasermic- listen i fell in love with eraserheads character as soon as I saw him and then this loud guy cockatiel burst through the door and I was hooked. I like to think theyre secretly married with 5 cats. Eraserhead and Present mic.

Erasermight- its cute and theyre really good dads. Eraserhead and all might

Kamikiri- ketchup and mustard. Theyre bros theyre cute and they can kick your ass.

Het pairings:

Allmight x Inko- i love seeing them interact and Inko deserves the best.

AFO x Inko - theories man those dang theories.

Lida x Ochako- best friends and in love (I know people always talk about red xblue ships but theres quite a few canon and fan blue x pink ships. I think these two count)

Kaminari x jiro- I really like this ship as well don't be surprised if you see these names again in the ot3 part of the list.

Ochako x deku- ok so this one is a bit wierd. I like this ship but I hate how its portrayed in the anime. The way uraka acts around deku and how she thinks about him comes off as out of character for her (just my opinion). Any moment where she is watching or thinking about deku (especially in the last two seasons) takes me out of the immersion and feels really jarring watching it. When its not like the anime I adore this ship.

Ot3 pairings:

Deku x lida x Ochako- what more can I say. They just fit.

Todobakudeku- I don't generally ship todoroki with people cause he feels like that fifth wheel on a date, but this ship is an exception. You got two reckless bois running into danger while boi 3 tries his hardest to be the responsible one (I'll let you decide who is who).

Kiribakudeku- kiribaku is a ship I dont really feel anything for, I see cute art sometimes or they show up in the background of a fic and its nice but I dont go looking for it. Add deku in tho and I'm a sucker for it.

Jiro x Kaminari x momo- just let them be happy together.

Izu (she was still deciding on a name, but Izu worked) never thought she'd find her soulmate in high school. She'd hoped that she would one day meet them, but she was sure she wouldn't until much later. That was usually what happened after all.

Izu didn't expect the boy who stepped out in front of them in the hallway to throw down the gauntlet at their class to begin singing.

"Here we go, here we go It's about time that we set it off" the purple haired teenager sang, eyes wide. Izu felt her own mouth open at the same time.

"They tell me, "Keep it simple", I tell them, "Take it slow" I feed and water an idea so I let it grow," Izu sang as she stepped towards the teenager who stared back with wide eyes. His eyes trailed over her. Izu tried not to let it get to her. A lot of people did that, trying to see how she was trans or not.

"Here we go, here we go Red lights, I could never stop," the boy sang, eyes burrowing into hers. She kept singing to.

"I tell them, "Take it easy", they laugh and tell me, "No" It's cool but I don't see them laughing at my money though," Izu looked at him hopefully. Please, please let things work out...

Like- TodoDeku Route: Fem!Izuku having a weapon makes sense since she is a) sent to a high end school that does allow for things like that while training them to be ladies and b) she's Quirkless in the beginning of the route so she needs that extra OOOMPH.

TokoDeku: Less so here? In this AU Fem!Izuku kinda leans into her 'perky goth' (pastel goth but still) persona and develops a Witchy sort of hero vibe. Her having some sort of weapon can work then… OF COURSE NOW I KNOW I NEED TO MAKE IT A BO STAFF AND ATTACH BROOM BRISTLES TO IT. WHEN SHE HETS FLOAT SHES CACKLING. SHES A WITCH NOW!

MonoDeku: Similar reason to B of the TodoDeku route. She starts out as Quirkless and they decide she needs an OOOMPH.

The others I don't know. IiDeku route Fem!Izuku is more of a bruiser and a runner thanks to whom she's trained by.

I kind of want Izumi to meet Shinsou while she's married to Bakugou.

Like Shinsou is baned from marrage by HPSC.

(Like Eraserhead. No one's sure what a Quirk like Eraser would do to someone and the HPSC would be to worries and ban Aizawa from marrage. (Thankfully the man is very gay.) But with Shinsou it more fear based. Yes he has a powerful and useful Quirk but just because he's a hero doesn't mean that his kid would be and a Quirk like that running around not in the HPSC control makes people nervous and surely he wouldn't have a kid without marrying the girl because that would be publicly bad for both them.)

And Shinsou was bullied as a kid a lot. (Not physically because of fear of his Quirk but psychology and emotionally.) And so he can see the signs in Izumi of what's going on with Bakugou and does his best be her support.

(Legally he can't do anything unless Bakugou gets stupid and puts a hand on her because this a HPSC based marrage but he can be sounding board for her, help her siphon a little money into a nest egg and offer a place to stay when the time limit is hit so she can get her feet out under her.)

 F!Izuku and Bakugou are in an arranged marriage that has to last until they had a kid- if the kid isn’t born in five years they can divorce without question. Lets say in this AU Quirk Marriages are a thing cause they want kids with strong Quirks. F!Izuku is able to pass on Quirks, a staple in most fics where she’s a girl.

 The fic would focus on Izuku just waiting for the five years to be up, while Bakugou is off being a hero. He still yells at her, and acts like canon Bakugou but he doesn’t hit her. He thinks everything is fine, that she loves him like he loves her. He doesn’t want kids right away, and doesn’t think about the five year limit until she packs her things up, signs the papers and walks out.

So yeah.

Pairings: BakuDeku- onesided and very sad and fucked up. And maybe Izuku has a boyfriend/girlfriend before the marriage or maybe she fell in love during it.

Hmmm I like it but I also like to head canon Shinsou actually has good fashion sense in like a gothic/punk sort of ways. It’s honestly more of a defence for Shinsou to dress nicely cause like then people would ignore him, so a fem!Shinsou would dress nicely to for the same reasons.

I also want to say we make it TodoShinDeku because imagine two sassy ladies flirting with Todoroki and the utter mess he’d become. These girls get together and then it’s ‘lock on sight’ because they both love how deadpan Todoroki is, and Izumi thinks he needs some self love.

Todoroki has no idea how he ended up where he is, with two beautiful girls on either side of him, and frankly- he’s a bit overwhelmed.

I can imagine the shit they get when Izumi leaves. Like people probably make some comments about Shinsou and his Quirk and Bakugou just would not take it well at all.

Izumi does not tolerate that at all. She was always going to leave Bakugou. If Shinsou hadn't been there she simply would have done it alone.

And she doesn't tell Inko why. (There's no point the woman stopped listening to her when she diagnosed as Quirkless.) But she does explain to Mitsuki and Masaru.

Because while they never did favor her they were supportive of her and when they had been younger and Bakugou more physical they stopped him and told him off for misbehaving in a way no teacher ever had. So she looks them in the eyes and tells them.

"I don't love him. I never did. And it has nothing to do with Hitoshi and everything to do with how he treated me like his property."

And they probably aren't happy about this whole thing but they understand, they want Izumi to be happy too and if the relationship really is like that then it's toxic for both Izumi and their son.

She tells the Bakugou parents in private first. Her feelings on their son regardless they're people she cares for and respects and she wants them to know ahead of time.

Bakugou probably confronts Shinsou and Izumi in a public place. (One that happens to have a news crew near by.)

And Izumi is just having none of it. She lays into Bakugou. Points out every instance of him treating her like an accessory, all the times he disregard her consent. (Not sex hopefully but dragging her to events that she made it obvious she did not want to go to.)

All the tiny little things that ruined her self perception and self confidence. And if there are other heros in the area the start nodding along. Because they remember her a events and galas were she'd try to speak with someone and Bakugou would cut her off and make a degrading comment about her or the instances when she would have the expression of 'Physically I'm present but mentally I'm on a beach in cancún'.

Afterwards Izumi is so embarrassed especially with the requests she's receiving for interviews to talk about her time with Bakugou.

But Shinsou reminds her that she's allowed to talk about what happened and that it may help other people in similar situations who don't realize how bad it is. That people need to be reminded that abusive isn't always physical.

And Izumi goes into the news and does interviews because maybe she can't be an official hero but she can help. She can make the system change.

She's going to save as many people as she can in whatever way she has available.

This is the AU with InkoGum if I remember right.

So I’m imagining Izumi bring home her partners all: “Mom, Dad, this is my girlfriend Shinsou Hitori* and our boyfriend Todoroki Shouto.”

And Shouto gets some Fatgum and Inko style parenting because this boy deserves soft things.

Also Hitori and Izumi tease him and he catches fire at least twice. Possibly on live television. (Am I saying the they teased him at the Sports Festival? Yes. Yes I am.)

(*I check and Hitoshi is a male name and while Japan appears to be looser in name gender (no one blinked at the idea in OHSHC that Haruhi was male even though it was a girl’s name) I figured I should change it.)

Shouto had the best upgrade. He’s living it up. And doesn’t intend to stop.

Kouda is ruthless in getting his money. His bunny is living it up with all the new outfits and treats Kouda can get him.

Also Aizawa is suspect over the recent string of cat cafe dates from Mic but he’s not going to question that particular good luck.

Instead he’s going to question how long until Kaminari short-circuits because in daughter and future in-laws do not exist in a bubble and their shenanigans affect others.

And Kaminari is loosing his mind.

Kaminari: *Draped over Iida’s lap because the Bakusquad refuses to listen to it anymore.* God they are all so pretty. Why won’t anyone flirt with me like that?!

Also I feel like the inevitable conclusion to this AU is Househusband!Todoroki Shouto. He’s at home taking care of the kids and the house while his two beautiful and terrifying wives are out getting that bread.

Hmmm I like it but I also like to head canon Shinsou actually has good fashion sense in like a gothic/punk sort of ways. It’s honestly more of a defence for Shinsou to dress nicely cause like then people would ignore him, so a fem!Shinsou would dress nicely to for the same reasons.

I also want to say we make it TodoShinDeku because imagine two sassy ladies flirting with Todoroki and the utter mess he’d become. These girls get together and then it’s ‘lock on sight’ because they both love how deadpan Todoroki is, and Izumi thinks he needs some self love.

Todoroki has no idea how he ended up where he is, with two beautiful girls on either side of him, and frankly- he’s a bit overwhelmed.

Shouto’s willing to try anything at least once. Particularly after he saw Endeavor freak out. So he’s even been in the Lolita style before. Even if his default style is kinda plain.

(Dabi saw it and he could almost respect his youngest sibling for causing their father to have a meltdown just from his clothes.)

Mic is an enabler because he tells Hitori and Izumi what Aizawa would do that would result in him freaking out so they can try it on Shouto.

(Thankfully for Aizawa’s peace of mind Mic has always been Like That™ so most of the time Aizawa just had to exist in the same space as Mic to cause that reaction. And Shouto does have better control.)

Aizawa could live without his class placing bets on when in the day Shouto will catch on fire though.

Also Inko and Fatgum are going to fight Endeavor on sight for Shouto if he tries anything.
