Pikmin Age Headcanons Pt. 1

Kinda been wanting to share what I think each Pikmin character went through to get to where they are in the present! My only request is you don't hate on me for these. Just respect them or give me insight on things I might have missed.

🛠️Alph - Age 22 Grew up watching his grandfather Drake work on aerospace projects since he learned to walk. He goes through school, graduates high school at 18, attends KoTech (Koppai School of Technology) for 4 years and graduates at 22 with his Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering. Straight out of college, he is selected to join Charlie and Brittany on their Pikmin 3 journey to collect fruit and save their planet.

🪴Brittany - Age 24 Graduated High school at 18. Studied at KoTech, majoring in botany in the Life Sciences Academy of the school. Started off in small businesses that ranged from plant-based medicinal studies to help Koppai’s food crisis until being selected to embark on her journey with Alph and Charlie at the age of 24.

🦆Charlie - Age 28 Graduated High School at 18. Studied at Kotech and was part of the Ranger program. He became a space ranger at 22 and goes on ranger missions for years assisting in treasure collection to support his family financially until being selected to go on the Pikmin 3 journey with Alph and Brittany at age 28.

🔵Louie - Age 25-26 Graduated Highschool at 18. For a a year, he didn't do much with his life and often explored the area's around his grandmother's house, such as the mountains behind her house. He didn't go to college and didn't have an idea of what he wanted to do so his family forced him to start getting minimum wage jobs that constantly fired him due to his laziness and obsession with food breaks for years. He finally winds up in Hocotate Freight at the age of 25. Accepting him despite not having a college degree due to the business being pretty unprofessional.

🔴Olimar - Age 35-36 Graduated high school at 18. Studied Biology, got a BA at 22, but didn’t want to take it further. He falls in love in college and marries when he is 25, they have their first son when he's about 26. This makes his son about 9-10 years old. Then they have a daughter when he's about 30. This makes her around 6-7 years old. He ended up at Hocotate Freight, mainly excited to travel space. Hestarted here after a few minimume wage jobs out of college and started at 27. He has been working there for 9 years.

⚫President - Age 40-41 Graduated high school at 18, was very active in business and studied it, getting a masters in business at the age of 24. He became active in climbing the corporate latter at Hocotate Freight, but was also very gullible. He finally becomes president at the age of 35, being president of Hocotate Freight for 5-6 years, replacing Olimar's previous boss.

okay here is one more recap ficlet like I said!:

Vaespar did trounce Lacey - it took some finagling, but Sticky and his Water Tera won out in the end. 

Then came Kieran. And. after the first attempt... nope, he was going to have to bring out the big guns. And also Milkshake. 

With Kieran fully humiliated, as both Drayton and Vaespar had planned, they and Carmine werre suddenly invited to a expedition to Area Zero with Briar, on Geeta and Rika's behest. Drayton decl;ined, but the other three accepted, With Vaespar eagerly taking the Indigo Disk Geeta offered him. Finally, what he was seeking all along was ahead...

Once they were in Area Zero, the group used the Indigo Disk to delve into the Underdepths, solving puzzles along the way until they found the core - Terapagos. Vaespar had barely any time to contemplate how small such a powerful, reality-warping being was when Kieran immediately snatched it from him with a Master Ball, and Vaespar had to fight for it back. 

But then things got worse. Kieran's attempt to Terastalize Terapagos sent it out of control, and he, Carmine and Vaespar had to team up to take it down. This time Vaespar caught it - finally, the Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero was his. 

The quartet returned home triumphant, Kieran being determined to repair things with Vaespar, to Vaespar's chagrin. Briar started writing a book, and gave Vaespar an early copy. But on a whim Vaespar took Terapagos to the Crystal Pool, sensing a connection. 

And that's when Professor Turo showed up. After a conversation where both parties were very confused (and Dante was overjoyed) the two exchanged books, then Turo vanished. Vaespar was left wondering if he had altered this timeline or another. 

What was clear is he needed to look into harnessing Terapagos' power. But he had other things he needed to take care of too. Hestarted collecting Pokemon for perrin's new quest, including a strange musical one he found through an odd ritual...

It all started with a letter, a white rectangular letter with a red heart painted with lipstick. It was a love letter, something that you would send to a lover or a crush, but why would someone send you a love letter with no name.

More started coming, once a week, then twice, and eventually every other day there was a love letter at your doorstep. It didn’t make any sense, you were single, and everyone you were around never showed signs of love towards you.

You decided that it would be best if you just ignored the letters for now, you were a pillar anyways, it was dangerous to try and commit to a relationship in your position. So whenever you would get a letter you would set them into a wooden box and then put said box in your closet.

Every day you would wake up, check for a letter and then put the letter in the box. Every day, for over a month until hestarted actually interacting with you.

He was Iguro Obanai, the all known serpent pillar who was also a massive bitch to everyone except Mitsuri and … you. At first it was minor differences a simple, “good morning [name]” or a wave. But gradually it became more noticeable, he began to stand next to you at pillar meetings or tried to get on missions that intersected with yours or he would by you lunch or accompanying you to festivals.

Eventually he became a regular in you life, it was obvious that he liked you, he was never the best at hiding it, but it was only to your surprise when Iguro came to the next pillar meeting with his hand linked with Kanroji’s, not long later you found out they were dating. What? All of those things Iguro was doing for you, was just for becoming friends? Was he trying to lead you on? Playing hard to get?

I genuinely left you confused, you knew that Iguro was fond of Kanroji he used to talk about her a lot but eventually stopped. All you knew was that you didn’t pick up any signs that they would start dating.

You knew Kanroji, she was sweet, kind, and just cute, she would invite you every now and then mabye out for food or sometimes she would even cook you things. She liked you, you never judged her for eating so much and you were always polite even if she messed up a food she was making or something else that most people could be offended by.

Leave it alone, let them be happy together, its not your choice who falls in love with who. Iguro for such a long time had distracted you from so many things, but you began to notice that you were drifting away from him, it made you snap out of you trance and realize that the letters had stopped. Ever since Iguro and Kanroji had started dating the letters stopped, it was an odd abrupt stop, not last letter that stated that it was the last letter it just stopped.

You tried to think that the delay of letters was a weight lifted off you shoulders but it just irritated you more. Eventually you decided to look at the past letters, opening the box you pulled out each letter and one by one you opened and read every one of them. All of the words were just sweet nothings, “I love how you dress” “I love your hair and your eyes” “I love how strong you are”.

Every time you felt sad or upset you would reread those letters, it had been only a few weeks but there were no new letters. Until a knock on your door woke you, getting out of bed and stumbling to the front door, you opened it to see a single letter. White paper and a lipstick heart. You fully awoke once you saw it, you picked it up carefully you felt if yoj held it too tight it would dissolve. You shut the door and opened the letter

“meet me in the center of your garden behind your home at 7:00pm, please this is important.”

It was 6:45 pm as you headed to the center of your garden, it was covered in tall hedges that could block anyone from looking in, the center of your garden was surrounded by a small circle maze. You made it to the center and sat down on one of the stone benches to wait, you waited only a few minutes before you heard someone behind you. You turned your head to look at the person and were meet with a pink and green haired individual, it was her.

Iguro moved closer as he said this,

“we were both to scared to make a move, we thought that if we just started dating we would forget about you. It was a selfish decision but… its 100% up to you, but [name]…”

can i ask what your problems were with endgame?

Oh, boy. I’m just gonna start out with saying that I’m more of a casual fan of Marvel and I’m less invested in the characters than some but it still hurt at certain points.

My biggest problem was how they treated Thor’s character. They turned him into one, big, fatphobic joke. He was the punchline of every single joke in that movie. And every time I thought ‘Oh, finally we are getting serious, we are gonna dive into his depression and PTSD!!’ the movie went ‘Nope, another cheap joke at his expense.’ It was painful to watch and I don’t think I will ever do so again precisely because I can’t watch what they have done with Thor. They tried so hard to be funny like Ragnarok was but instead they just ruined everything about him. Also there was not enough Thor/Valkyrie. I loved them in Ragnarok. Although, I’m gonna say that I mostly enjoyed Thor’s scene with Frigga. They were sweet.

And then there was Steve’s ending which just… didn’t make sense. I’m sorry, but it didn’t. I adored Steve/Peggy but we have moved on from that relationship movies ago? Peggy had a life, a husband, children. And Steve? He spent years with his friends and team in the present. Years!!! He has known them far longer than he did Peggy and I just don’t see how he could leave them? And while 2019 is far from perfect, which I’m sure is true for 2023 as well, I cannot imagine living in the present and willingly going back to the 40s. Steve himself has said he likes current things. He has started becoming a part of it. And all that goes out the window? Don’t even get me started on the plotholes the timetraveling causes and are we just meant to believe he’d leave Bucky, (you know, the Bucky who he had 3 movies dedicated to, who he started wars for) in the hands of Hydra and let the same organization fuck up his wife’s life work? And obviously I’m a bitter little Steve/Bucky shipper on top of all that. Because after every CA movies I just… can’t see Steve leaving Bucky behind.

I also wanted more Carol. I went in thinking we are gonna see her a lot and she is gonna have a major role but she disappeared early on and only showed up at the end. But I know I shouldn’t complain about that because some characters didn’t even get lines…

The one scene I can say that stood out to me was the final battle. That was genuinely amazing.
