What is the primary function of red blood cells?
A) Fight infections B) Transport oxygen C) Aid in clotting D) Remove waste
Answer is option B.
The pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart. This is unique because veins typically carry deoxygenated blood, but the pulmonary veins are an exception.
The trachea is part of which organ system?
A) Digestive B) Respiratory C) Circulatory D) Endocrine
Answer is option B.
The trachea, also known as the windpipe, is a key structure in the respiratory system. It serves as the main airway, allowing air to pass from the larynx to the bronchi, which then direct air into the lungs.

Inverse Functions
An inverse function undoes the action of a function. If f(x)f(x)f(x) is a function, its inverse is denoted by f−1(x)f^{-1}(x)f−1(x). The condition for a function to have an inverse is that it must be bijective.
For example, the inverse of f(x)=2x+3f(x) = 2x + 3f(x)=2x+3 is: f−1(x)=x−32f^{-1}(x) = \frac{x - 3}{2}f−1(x)=2x−3

This year I made a huge choice to explore other careers in healthcare, after careful research and consideration I decided to embark on the journey to become a Certified Surgical Technologist.
Since August I have been studying like crazy so I could pass the required HESI A2 exam in order to qualify for the program. I decided to hold off till the very last chance I had to take the test before the deadline in order to give myself as long as I could to study as hard as I could. Especially in math.
Last month I took the test and passed!
Today, the college sent me my acceptance letter for their spring term.
I start classes in February!!!!

Which blood vessel carries oxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart?
A) Pulmonary artery B) Pulmonary vein C) Aorta D) Vena cava
Answer is option B.
The pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart. It is the only vein in the body that carries oxygen-rich blood, as veins usually carry deoxygenated blood back to the heart.

Types of Functions
Injective (One-to-One): A function is injective if every element of the domain maps to a unique element in the range. No two different inputs map to the same output. Example: f(x)=2xf(x) = 2xf(x)=2x is injective because different values of xxx result in different outputs.
Surjective (Onto): A function is surjective if every element in the range has at least one input in the domain that maps to it. Example: f(x)=x for x∈Rx \in \mathbb{R}x∈R is surjective if we define the range as [0,∞)[0, \infty)[0,∞), but not surjective if the range is R\mathbb{R}R because negative numbers cannot be squared.
Bijective: A function is bijective if it is both injective and surjective. Every element of the domain maps to exactly one unique element in the range, and every element in the range is covered.
