odo is very autism coded to me. he expends a lot of energy moulding himself into a human-like shape to fit in, but he constantly feels like an outsider because hes not truly one of them. every 16 hours he has to return to his original form to recover from the strain of acting like everyone else. thats autism baby!!! thats masking!!! thats literally how i feel every day of my damn life!!!

lincoln is such an interesting and loveable character to me, just because it feels like he has the ground work of a typical innocent/shy positive type character but he really isnt- hes got jealousy problems and is judgy and can be a complete hater at times, as well as being loyal and loving to his friends, he really changes by the end of season 2 compared to the beginning as well, because the last like hints of that "ground work" are being very overshadowed by his other character traits, tho not completely gone-

because like even though hes got the 'i really wanna make friends' type energy and he gives off the vibes of someone who would bend over backwards for the needs of other people, especially at the beginning of the season, he's actually very blunt and sticks to what he thinks, like for example theres that one scene in the papa johns arc when he's talking to dorito devito (the delivery driver guy) and once he decides that the guy is rude he just basically tells the guy to fuck off instead of sticking with the plan of trying to convince him that they're supposed to be helping the guy,

i feel like theres a lot of other examples for that but i just find it such an interesting and unique character trait for his like- archetype ifykwim, and honestly it makes a lot of sense for him, especially when we start to get the notion that he's basically on his way to rebelling more and becoming independent compared to how he was raised, with him protesting with his dads to get them to let him go to highschool, and to him attempting to establish boundaries with grant during and after everything with erin and her trees, hes a teenager that is slowly realizing that he should and wants to have more agency over his life
