He was just curious, honestly! Wanted to see what the song you were singing was.

Maaayyybbbeeee transforming into a fly to get closer without rousing your suspicion was a bit creepy, but he didn’t care by that point

He was enraptured by your voice, loosing sense of time until you stopped for the night

He swears to himself that it was a one off thing. Sure, you were cute but it’s not like he couldn’t have gone up to you when you were obviously upset and wanting to be alone.

I mean, it’s not like he could have fallen for you that quick

It’s not like he played the song you sang that night a few times since that night. Totally didn’t memorize the lyrics

He also totally doesn’t detour past your place to get another glimpse of you every time he goes to see MK

He asked you out to lunch because he found a few spots that are trying to get some more singers! Why was he looking? Just general curiosity. No other reason

He only gave you a rose after your latest performance because it’s tradition! Definitely not to just see your smile.
