ik the general idea of 'if Simon was an animal' he'd be a cat. Which yeah, I totally agree with..m but... he's also very, very hare coded. Snowshoe hares have paler, thicker winter coats (ice king era), and are quick to flight or become really aggressive.

Plus, they can go from Beast of the Grassland to silly bnuuy very quickly... like yes hares scar other hares from violent 'boxing'...but also they take dust bath and flop around like silly thang . Anyway that's all I've got to say.

AWH MAN I've been drawing Tetsu A LOT lately (and I will dO IT AGAIN) but I realized I hadn't really drawn that many sibling moments between him and Yusuke, so there's THE COMFOOORT! My thought with that one was them comforting each other about having lost Keiko. Tetsuya is not one to cry often at all, but Keiko was his whole world for twenty-five years of his life. That kind of pain doesn't go away so easily... It's so good that they both can have someone to grieve with now, though. They don't have to go through this alone!!

Oh it definitely stung Yusuke that his nephew doesn't remember him, and it's really weird on Yuki's part too! Rhin and I keep going back to discussing Yuki's characterization in Sword Lifted just because the situation on his part is so strange it's impossible to "react accordingly". This guy you don't remember and whom nobody told you about was almost like an older brother to you and played with you and cradled you to sleep as a baby, how wild is that??? But listen, I do know if anyone was going to look at this situation in the most practical, polite and straightforward way, it would be Yuki.

THEY'RE BATTLE BNNUYYYS you know, for being a samurai-inspired AU on an action shonen show's setting, I sure don't draw as much actual samurai-ing as I should djfgjdf I NEED TO REMEDY THAT, I'm really itching to do some big dramatic illustrations, but my to-draw list just keeps getting larger and larger with bunny stuff..... awh lord save me.

Oh Yuki is definitely all steel under that fur for sure for sure. I feel like I tend to draw characters scrawnier than they'd realistically be, but it's kind of my brain unconsciously going LITTLE BOY djfdgf to be honest Yusuke, Ken and Mari are the ones I'm generally more conscious about, when it comes to body types? Just because Rhin made a really good point of them being Big Guy, Tall Slim Guy and Hourglass Woman and I'm so weak about SHAPES. But also as I keep improving with my anatomy I try to be more aware of what the body types of my OCs are, and how to show that with time too.

But some part of her still loves her mom. Until later WHEN WE GET TO HEAR HER FULL LAST CONVERSATION. WHEN HER MOM GETS MAD AT HER LITERALLY SECONDS BEFORE HER EXECUTION. And she's like "You have no idea what I had to go through to get you" AND YOU KNOW WHAT SJE DID??? STOLE HER. SHE STOLE A FUCKING BABY. SHE STOLE NAARAH FROM HER TRIBE. And Naarah is like "You never really cared about me it was always about you" AND WHEN I SAW THIS SCENE I STARTED SOBBING I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS HURT ME SO BAD. Bonnie - I like how he’s the scariest of the original bunch even in scotts eyes!! His lack of eyebrows really makes a lack of expression that makes him sooo much more uncanny and also hes so cute i love him. Withered bonnie also falls under soooo cool and also the tiny red eyes in the dark is so good i love his design. Gender envy dareisay.

Springtrap obviously i love springy but like once again BANGER ASS DESIGN!!!!! The way he works in fnaf3 s soooo fucking cool. Like yeah william payed the ultimate price for his actions and you can hear him, pained in every move he makes, still motivated by bloodlust above all else….. he’s soo cool man.

Sprout Journal 11/8/24

Hey guys! Probably a smaller journal than usual today, but I feel like I end up saying that (or at least thinking it, idk if I actually mention it) quite a bit while writing these and then I always end up writing more than I expected. Today was a really straight forward day! I didn't do a whole heck of a lot, and not a bunch exciting happened which... is a bit of a breath of fresh air to be fully honest. This might be the first truly mundane day I've had since my breakup, I think I'm basically at the point of emotional regularity again. That doesn't mean that like all of the sudden there's no pain in my life, quite the opposite actually, rather it means that I have looked at my pain and I have decided how best to address it! I'm working realllyyyy hard on myself at the moment, and I think that's the best way to deal with things! School was a blur today. None of my classes were normal. My Spanish class was really tense and we didn't actually cover much material - we were much more focused on talking about the election. As much as I hate taking the actual course due to the weird online textbook and the high volume of work, my Spanish professor himself is a really genuine man and a good teacher. He cancelled class on Wednesday, and today he sat down with us and talked about the election results. He's obviously unhappy, and he expressed a lot of disappointment towards other voters similar to him. He said that a lot of his cousins are men who immigrated to the United States but now want to close the door behind them, which he personally doesn't understand. We ended class early today, so afterwards I actually stuck around to talk to him for a little. I didn't want to talk politics but it's obvious that he's hurting a lot so... I talked about music with him!

He's aspiring to find the time to learn bass just like I am, but he actually has such a fortunate head start on me haha. His cousin is the current bassist for Dance Gavin Dance!! He actually told me that like a week ago or something, but it was day two of my breakup and oh my god I was not ready to talk about it then - I almost broke no-contact with my partner Bnuuy IMMEDIATELY upon hearing that information. Anyways he was grateful for that After Spanish, creative writing class was fine! We talked about writing preferences; tenses and perspectives specifically. I also talked with one of my classmates about photography! I shared that I am looking for the right shots to take right now to send to The Bnuuy (ominous music plays in the distance) and how difficult it is to make the decision to capture a moment when your film is limited! It's an exercise in restraint, honestly. The rest of the class went fine! Anthropology got cancelled, so I went to the library and got comfy while finishing my final preparations for my Archaeology presentation! Truth be told I was surprisingly nervous. I wrote most of the presentation when like ... I was literally a different person. That sounds strange to say, but it's true - my brain chemistry has changed in the past two weeks since I made those slides, it was like reading any work by a stranger. But I managed to present it just fine, albeit a bit zoned out through my own content. Gosh what else I went to the gym at school again tonight! It was suppeerrrr exhausting but I think I'm hitting a real flow of things now. I did my longest run so far: 30 minutes straight, the only times I even slowed down was to skip ads on the Legend of Zelda 2 Game Grumps playthrough I was watching. After that I made my way through most of the weight machines! This one girl kept giving me a super aggressive stink eye though :( I really don't know what I did to upset her? It was a lil disheartening, especially considering I already get super anxious working out in public. But yeah! Now I technically have a bunch of homework to be doing, but absolutely NO energy to do it. I think instead I'll take care of it while I'm at work tomorrow and just suffer the consequences of some late penalties. Whatever, I'm a good student I promise That's all for tonight! okay so ORIGINALLY he covered his OWN FUCKING HORNS with his braids because of some asinine shit about his family being war criminals and being recognized by their very distinct horn shape (its deadass bnuuy ears shape) but for the redesign i’ve decided that he just. breaks off his own horns and replaces them with prosthetic ones - yes, shiny ones, his entire thing is “im running away from the military and the government for deserting, so i must become a super extravagant and annoying bard, yeah that’ll throw them off, they’re looking for someone with depression” so getting shiny golden horns isn’t too weird 

the eye and star freckles are bc this mf subclassed in warlock and made a pact with a star, Howl Pendragon style yes.

he gets to keep his mama’s pearl earrings forever bc it makes me soft and cry everytime i remember. and he still loves colorful strings bc i love the colors

there was also something about his family having a tradition that involved cutting your right ear off to honour the founding member of the family - which is later something that makes Sil go “maybe I really come from a cultist family, no wonder communicating with these specific deities was so damn easy” and he’d be 100% right

Okay I'm gonna finally get around to doing this one because I swear every single time I get asked anything about me, I just totally forget every fact of my existence ✨

(I'll start off with the short one) I talk about them all the time, but I have two very adorable bunnies. Their names are Dipper and Honey but we alternatively call them: baby boys, bunny boys, the buns, bnuuys, bread (when they loaf), and my personal favorite... little shit cannons.

I'm studying for a second degree in my very first special interest. Like most kids, I cycled through a lot of passing (+/- a year) interests but the one thing that always stuck with me was my special interest in geography (physical, cultural, literally if it was about a country I probably already read about it). I used to read encyclopedias for hours in my room and that's how I was able to rattle off about national capitals and flags on cue. I also used to obsessively draw model flags that I would cut out of white paper and keep in a little box in my room. Now, I'm getting my second degree in political science with a focus on international security, peace, and conflict. I also collect model flags from every country I visit and now I have seven (China, Thailand, South Korea, Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, and Switzerland). So, yeah, let your special interests run wild 💞

I spent this past summer in Bosnia and I had two major personal firsts: my first ever time in a mosh pit, and my first ever Pride march. The mosh pit one was fun because my friends and I had decided to go to an underground punk show. I was always curious about moshing so I jumped in a few times. The second time I'd gone in, I bumped into this one guy who looked like Freak on a Leash era Jonathan Davis and he knocked me over, and when the others realized I fell, they all jumped in to pull me back up before we started back again. I told my friends later that, "Dudes in mosh pits are interesting. If you're a little lady and you wanna get bumped around, they'll bump you around as much as you want, but the moment you fall, they magically remember all of their chivalry." About the march: it was Sarajevo's third ever Pride march and they had a record turnout. I had on a bi flag-patterned flower dress with pink fishnets and pink Doc knock-offs. I helped carry the huge trans flag banner and I had on headphones since they weren't playing any music, and all the MIW I was getting on my playlist really set the mood. Bosnia is still way more conservative than what I'm used to in the US (and I live in the rural south which says a lot), but we actually saw quite a few elderly women sitting by their apartment windows who were blowing us air kisses, which was really sweet. I honestly felt so refreshed being part of a huge real-life LGBT community for the first time and really feeling validated and welcomed.
