Realistic Ace Trappola + Headcanons

Okay so getting straight into it, this is my first post about my headcanons and realistic versions of twisted wonderland characters and the first one being introduced is *drumroll* Ace Trappola! Ace fans, you eating good tonight my chickies (that sounds so weird if u dont think of chickens right away LMFAO).

Sidenote: When headcanoning Ace and all my other characters, I take both factual and some of my personal thoughts/beliefs of the character to construct my headcanons.

So for Ace, its evident that I gave him acne due to reasoning such as his diet (fav food being cherry pie and mentioning his liking towards burgers) plus he is literally a teen boy that also has no women in his life and stereotypically the mother is the one to bring up looks as an issue, so without this Ace probably would have never gotten the right treatment for his acne. 

He’s already a red head so I added on that by giving him freckles. Also, it's known that redheads are more prone to acne, so another note as to why I gave him acne.

For his features for a realistic rendition, I went with a heart shaped face (because Ace’s card suit is hearts) but his widow's peak is hidden beneath his bangs. He has a snub nose shape which is quite round and slightly upturned. He has thicker eyebrows cause we all know bro don’t give a shit about his appearance.

For his hair I went wild, it's extremely fluffy, a bit curly and like shoulder length when wet. Bro has had like two haircuts his whole life and probably smells foul. I also tried to keep to the original style pretty closely without it looking really weird like bro came straight out of an anime. 

I didn't draw the bodies for any of them but Ace is more lanky with long legs and a rectangular body shape, but he has pretty big feet and hands.

Yeah and he's got a light British accent gang I’m sorry 😭 – he uses slang often as well.

Personality and backstory headcanons + a bit of character analysis:

Okay so Ace is one of the very first characters we meet in the game and a good one at that, a lot of people just put him in the category of “dumb friend with one brain cell”, and yes that's kinda true but every person had a reason to be the way they are due to personal experiences. We know in canon that Ace has always lived with his father and older brother but due to the literally no backstory on his mum, I’m saying his parents are divorced which he has much more time with his dad, also by his mannerism being so straight to the point and not sugar coated, this could be due to him being raised in an only male household. Which could also hint to why he “didn't feel committed” to his former relationship in middle school, he was so new to this type of love and got scared. After all he is just a teen, cut my boy some slack. (#1 Ace defender) 

Due to this relationship with his mother and seeing how his parents fell out of love, fought or similar, he’s very bad with women which is why he has only male friends. The only way he would have a girlfriend (or woman friend) is if they were not sensitive to his zero-filter way of speaking and even tell him off for it. (not me doing this since my yuusona is a girl 💀)

It's still mentioned that the whole family gets together around holidays (although this could possibly just mean his grandma and such and not the mothers side) so maybe the divorce wasn't messy and they just didn't love each other anymore, which happens all the time with quick relationships.

Ace is also pretty immature and not into deep and emotional conversations which is common with teen boys (especially around his age group). So not trying to hate, but all those scenarios made up with him comforting the reader and helping them feel better, in reality, he probably wouldn’t have gotten why you're so sad and not really know how to comfort you. Which is completely fine! He's not fully grown in body or mind and people need to accept this.

He definitely makes your mum jokes and sex jokes, bro cannot stop himself laughing when a teacher says anything sex related. He's highly competitive and will sulk if he loses a basketball game or bet with a friend.

Also despite being not very empathetic (not on purpose though), he appreciates the little things. For example, he’d appreciate you remembering his birthday or always having a spare pencil for him in class as you know he always loses his. He really appreciates those friends and even though he lacks in some areas, he will always protect them and stay by their side no matter what.

In conclusion, he's just some teen boy who's still learning about life and people. I had a lot of fun making the realistic design and giving him more depth as a character and I'll be doing this for the rest of the cast and after that maybe side characters?? Only if you guys want it though, I’ll also one day release my yuusona 😞. (she’s my queen get ready yall (hi i’m the 10/10 editor and assistant 😋)) (together, we are big brain)

Okay okay so pool day with the world of r!dream! I believe that the pool would be at Karl house because it fits for some reason. Quick reminder these are just my personal small ideas

-Tommy brought water guns and he makes it his solid mission to just attack you and Wilbur. Tubbo and Ranboo also get in on this and it leads to a war of water guns fights and Tommy getting tackled into the water by Wilbur.

-George and Sapnap bully dream about how nervous he gets when looking at you in your swimsuit. They even go as far as to when all four of you are together complimenting you and watching dream react.

hitting jack in the face with the volleyball would cause so much chaos AHAHAHAAH you and niki would be dying of laughter and wilbur would try his darndest not to, but he can't help it.

karl is the music man. he has his giant speaker set up and he's playing dj (sapnap tries to take over, but everyone complains, so he doesn't).

gossiping with niki! omg i love. she asks you about you and dream and you go all quiet and heat rises to your cheeks when you make eye contact with him on the other side of the pool and he has this cute boyish smile on his lips at that exact moment and nothing could've gone better for niki. she continues to tease you even after the pool day because once you started rambling about him to her, she can tell how much you like him.

george secretly packed some water balloons and asked you to help him with something inside quickly. you knew the plan all along. so, once you had filled like 50, you and george race outside with them all in your arms and start attacking dream and sapnap, who now lay on their towels in the sun. the plan is so great and you and george definitely don't shut up about it for weeks.

dream had been asking karl all day if he had any ice cream (even though every time he asked, karl said no). so, on the way home, dream pulls into a car park on the side of the road and you're confused because wtf? then you see the sign for the ice cream shop and it all makes sense. he gets 4 scoops of vanilla 😐anyways 😐then he drives to the other side of the carpark, where there are no cars, and opens his door and gets out. he pops the trunk and sits in it, all while you're still in the passenger's seat. some playlist plays loudly and then you get the gist and follow him, scooting in next to him in the trunk. and as the sun sets, pinks and purples paint the sky and the sun dips just below the horizon and its perfect.

He's also a really good leader and although the two of you don't have heart-to-hearts or conversations like the twins, you know he'll ALWAYS be there for you.

Like once, it was raining and practice was cancelled, so you decided to wait in school until the rain subsided (because you didn't want to get wet), and our sweet Kita searched for you in every single classroom until the finally found you and walked you home. You make Suna want to try harder, and he's way more motivated to give it his all in every single game. Mostly because he wants you to be proud of him.

Although he's shy about it, Aran actually comes to you when he doesn't understand a homework question. You're super smart and he knows you won't make him feel bad about not knowing.

And it makes you feel happy to know he trusts you, so you help him as best as you can. It's a little secret of yours that the other members don't know about.

It especially lights your day up when he gets a good grade and whispers a silent "thank you" to you in class.

In return, will help you with anything you ask for. No questions asked.

And now, last but not least, sunshine Akagi!! I think he's a total Hinata Shoyo, so he might annoy you a bit at first because of his bright personality.

But deep down inside, you love how easily he gets people to smile and slowly find yourself warming up to him.

CHEERING YOU UP— whenever you feel quieter than usual, or a bit more sarcastic, the boys immediately know something is wrong and rush over to make you feel okay. Literally, it's almost like they've abandoned practice. And eventhough you tell them to get back to it, they refuse to leave until you're feeling better. Suna usually gives you a hug and kisses your forehead, whilst Akagi cracks jokes. Then, (and eventhough you protest) Atsumu lists off all the things you should love about yourself, whilst Osamu buys you ice cream (food is, after all, the best cure for anything). Aran is literally ready to HUNT the person who affected your mood down, and kill them, whilst Kita is literally just holding him back and making sure things don't go overboard. Even if you aren't fully cheered up by then, you'd have laughed a whole lot and know how much they care for you, so honestly... how could you stay sad?

REACTING TO YOU TELLING THEM OFF— Suna is literally just meh about it. He can't take you seriously because he's a dork who thinks he's not included in the list of "idiots" (but no Suna, u mf, you ARE included -_-). Atsumu thinks it's hot 👀 (as I mentioned above), Akagi is genuinely upset/ready to sob and vows to do better. Kita is proud of you for telling them off before he could do it (Kita is not included in the "idiots". How could he? he's PERFECT 🖐️). Osamu and Aran have similar reactions, because they end up apologizing and try to change tactics and do better.

HOW THEY'D ACT WHEN YOU START DATING SUNA— (because this is honestly inevitable, wbk 😭❤️). Atsumu would be jealous. Petty and would call Suna "pretty boy" every chance he gets. ◊ (un)Luckily for him, one of your dogs had been there, and it had picked up the wrench and brought it to Kazuichi’s outstretched hand. 

◊ “Thanks, Fuyu.” He accepted the wrench, expecting a grunt of ‘You’re welcome.’

◊ He, however, did not expect a very loud, “BORK!” in return.

◊ He screeched, wincing as he jolted up and hit his forehead on the hard metal underneath his machine.

◊ Not long after the bark echoed through the area, you had come running, your forehead creased from worry.

◊ You gasped in shock as you hurried him up to his feet, hastily bringing him to your clinic.

◊ He blushed at your close proximity, letting you drag him to a waiting seat.

◊ He watched warily as your animals ran into the backroom of your clinic, bringing you medical supplies as you carefully examined his forehead. 

◊ The animals watched you two as you disinfected his forehead, making Kazuichi nervous from the many tiny animal eyes glaring into him.

◊ Everyone cheered as the bear kept on swinging TeruTeru’s arm in its jaw.

◊ That one time Hajime made Mikan cry, one of your lizards had slipped off Mikan and bit his finger.

◊ There’s always at least one of your animals stuck onto her just in case she gets picked on by Hiyoko or TeruTeru.

◊ If Hiyoko insulted Mikan for no good reason, the monkeys would pull her pigtails whilst the cats quickly ran to her dorm to shit inside it.

[15:45 PM] [some days you wondered if he could touch the sky, literally.]

―while the basketball court reminded the people of the town of him, for you it was the smell of home cooked meals that would defeat every restaurant`s delicacy.

it wasn`t like you never appreciated his sport skills or his math skills but most days you were just simply envious how easy mingyu makes things look like whenever he`s in the kitchen doing whatever he does.

your mother might have always nagged you saying how you will never be able to do half of the things that he does and she might be also the reason you hate him half-heartedly but at the same time you couldn`t help but admire his strong back when he cooks while you just join your and his mother at the dinner table.

every two or three months, both of your mothers who were friends since their own younger days would join at each one`s place during weekends to have some calm and quiet dinner with some occasional reminiscing of their old days while mingyu every time would secretly take an extra piece of chicken to place it on your plate.

and when your eyes will shoot up to meet with his own, you`ll catch him mouthing a, “eat up well.” with a small smile that reaches his eyes.

maybe he`s trying to make up for every time he never intentionally made you feel bad about yourself through your mother. he knew how she always compared you with him. that`s why during such weekends like giving some extra piece of meat or giving you a spoonful of broth when you`re standing next to him watching him cook, he would give some extra attentions to you without both of your mothers` knowledge so that when you walk back home, even if your mother picks another bone with you, you`ll always know that mingyu just simply loves cooking and caring for people he loves. he never does it out of a place where he wants to showcase.

most of your friends and people around you didn`t have much of the knowledge of the kind of relationship you had with mingyu because meeting him would be so random that you would be most of the time taken aback.

one of those days was that one night when you were walking back to your home from having a study session with your best friend at her place and you heard a familiar laughter from the other side of the road behind you.

looking over your shoulder, you saw none other than mingyu along with one of his closest buddy seungcheol, walking side by side and laughing to some things you didn`t quite hear.

you had your hood up over head so it was easy to hide by without grabbing his attention but before you could turn your head away and look straight ahead, mingyu, within that split second caught you with his eyes. you thought whether it was his inhumane speed in catching people with his eyes or his heartstrings vibrating with the sensation that one of his loved ones is close by and he needed to quickly find them in any way possible.

but what made you taken aback by all this and suddenly look straight ahead and just walk faster while pretending as if you never saw him didn`t ever cross your mind. you wonder what made you so nervous, it wasn`t like he was going to jump on you or something.

as you continued walking faster towards your home, mingyu called you out by your name in his softest voice and bid his friend a goodbye along with a, ‘i`ll see you tomorrow, man!’

everything happened within some few seconds―mingyu crossed the streets jogging, caught up to you and put his strong, protective arm around your shoulder hanging his palm politely in front of your chest without letting it touch you anyway while at the same time pulling you a little closer to his chest.

he had no business giving you this sudden free envelope of warmth during this cold night for no reason but you let him do what he wanted to do as long he`s just being that one good old friend of yours for a lifetime with whom you shared a single childhood polaroid picture sitting in each of your study desks.

but before you could say that it was completely unnecessary for him to walk with you by abandoning what seemed like a very interesting conversation with seungcheol some while ago, mingyu, in his very casual tone stated, ‘here, let me walk you home.’

and walk you home is what he did that night. he even stayed back to see you switching on the lights in your room and waved you a silent goodbye when you opened the window of your room to let the air pass inside. he had this dreamy look where his eyes looked like it was slightly wet and his soft bangs did their little dance on his forehead.

till to this day, you always wondered why he did that. was it out of selflessness that runs in him or was he really delighted to see you that night and decided to walk you back home as an excuse to spend some time with you?

till to this day, you`ve not figured this out but that night became one of those nights which never came back again into your life yet.

although there would be some instances where he would walk you back home when it would be dinner nights during both of your mothers` weekend days but your mother would always be there with you so things were always different.

so that was just one night when both of you were alone and the night air only acted as the background score by flowing through the trees and fluttering the leaves giving some escape to the silence that prevailed in-between both of you.

in-between some of these countable memorable incidents, both of you had some good share of eye contacts and nodding of heads when you would see him from the bleachers of the basketball court while he`s playing a game.

but that was it.

like it was said, your relationship with him was borderline formal. there wasn`t much intimacy and not much words were exchanged in-between both of you. at the end of the day, you were unsure how you would want him in your life because knowing mingyu gives you all sorts of options and conflicts at the same time.

if you gave him a little bit of a chance he would have accepted himself in any position in your life but you decided that you really didn`t have anything to give him back. his selflessness, his way of winning people`s heart without even trying, his familiarity and yet his charismatic way of putting people in a good mood was something you can never give him back.

the little you inside your head didn`t know how to perceive mingyu and you, yourself knew that you would never get to be alone with him like that night ever again so it`s better that you kept him at the friendship pedestal considering that has been the easiest lock to open all the time.

but you wished for that one person, who`d get to have him in his life from another town or this town to give their relationship with him a proper name and not be so conflicted with relationships in real life and where people stand in their life like yourself because you were definitely not something mingyu should be having in his life.

and it didn`t matter what he thought. because even if he thought something otherwise, you would still choose the easiest lock to open.

“come on braydon!” you shouted at the two year old, who was currently naked running around the house, “Thomas help!” “i see you naked!” he playfully shouted at the baby trying to catch him. “NO!” braydon continued to run down the halls, you groaned as you put the toys in the bath. “BRAYDON NO!” he yelled, your eyes widened as you were confused. “WHAT DID HE DO?” you yelled, looking at the open door. 

tom let out a loud groan, grabbing the baby and bringing him to the bathroom. “how did that happen?” “he runs like the flash, i swear i only blinked my eyes for a second and then BOOM here he was” you both looked at the baby, who was licking the icing off of his fingers. “just- come on” you sighed and held out your hands in a gimmie gimmie way, tom gave the naked baby to you and you started to wash him up-

you quickly took the phone away from braydon as tom looked at you as if you were crazy, closing Instagram you put on a very wide smile handing him back the phone “lets just get these pants on” you said, finally turning around to tom and holding onto his shoulders. “one...two...three!” you jumped and he pulled them up “one more time...one..two..three!” he pulled them up higher and you looked at yourself behind letting out a ‘yay’ “you see how strong i am?” he flexed his muscles and you and you only shook your head “we got places to be thomas”

tom offered to go to Safeway for a whole new, non homemade cake which you of course disagreed, at moms house nothing was store bought other then the ingredients, and ramen.. but other than that she was all good.

“come on bray, time to see nana” tom whispered, trying to tickle his neck as bray let out little breathes, wiggling his head a little bit, but when he opened his eyes a smile found his face that made tom chuckle “yeah bray,  were gonna go see her” he cooed, unbuckling the car seat and taking him out.

stepping up to the house brought back memories, but it was time to make new ones..tom walked with the diaper bag on his back and bray on his hip, his hat backwards as he bounced braydon some, watching the door open revealing “papa!” bray cheered, a big smile on his face and his eye creases that he got from his daddy, he threw his arms out trying to wiggle out of toms arms which you all laughed at, “hey pops” you said while he reached for the baby “hey princess, how are you?” he asked, opening the door more and tom held your hand, walking in.

“good, wheres mom?” “shes in the kitchen” he smiled, you seprated yourself from them both leaving bray telling them make believe stories about knights and dragons and how he gave them an uppercut, it left pops questioning if the house is safe or not but oh well.

you walked into the kitchen finding your mom cooking the greens. “oh- ive been waiting for you” she smiles, taking the ladle out of the pot and putting it on the glass painting you made. you smiled and walked closer into the kitchen, right infront of the sink. she crossed her arms over the chest and looked at your figure “how have you been baby?” she asked and you shrugged.

“im happy...like really happy, which is actually strange you know, the love i have for tom is.. indescribable actually” you smiled as her bottom lip quivered “mom dont do it, pleaseee dont” you whined looking away from her. “i cant help it!” she whispered, biting her bottom lip. “god your all grown up-” she looked away from you took, placing one of her hands on her heart. 

“you wouldnt be doing this to jamie” you said glaring at her. “because hes a man, and when he was a boy he was a damn handfull” “all he did was play the game!” “exactly” she tipped her head at you and you giggled.

she opened her arms and you playfully rolled your eyes, walking over, you embraced her “you were our little princess, you asked for a prince everyday and begged for a frog” you both laughed “and i had to tell your dad every single goddamn day to hide the skirt, hide the dress, it was madness”

“and then- and then it went woooshhhh” bray said, sitting on papas lap and speaking with his hands. “very interesting, and when did this happen?” he asked, bray thought for a minute.. “like yesterday!” tom laughed at the small child's words while papa had to act like he believed it letting out an ‘ahhh i see’ and nodding his head.

it took a while for everyone to get there but everyone came, Sam continuously reminding harry that he fasted to the meal that your moms gonna cook while harry thought about it his self, his mouth watering as he drove to the house.

Jamie came over with his wife, their kids older than your own by a year so they could socialize all they please, you all took your time talking to each other, Nikki sticking with your ma and dom with pops, you and tom plus his siblings sat around and watched the kids speak, you looked over at tom who looked over giving you a childish smile which you returned putting your hand through his hair and playing with his loose curls.

“i swear she was always so thirsty” “shut up Jamie” you rolled your eyes, all sitting around the dinner table. “she would wake me up in 5 in the morning telling me its morning time and asked for orange juice” he said proving a fact as everyone around laughed, “she still does it now” tom added on making everyone laugh a bit harder “i think shes passing it on to bray” everyone looked at bray who was way to invested into the chicken bone, when he looked up he let out a “wut?” he really said `-` and took another bite.

sam finished his plate early, harry calling him fat and having a minor argument, you and Jamie wife shae talked while tom chatted with Jamie, all invested as a family, braydon played sword with Jamies son Shawn while his daughter Jannie ate the green beans, she walked over and asked for your corn bread noticing you haven't touched it.. you weren't such a corn bread fan so you gave it up to her “you look so gorges” “thank you auntie!” she said cutely, her dimples popping out as you let out an awe and looked at shae which she laughed.

it all ended in everyone watching the old movies, the ones you grew up watching. Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence and “uncle!” bray shouted, everyone look at him confused. Samuel l Jackson on the screen “what bray?” you asked, tom laying on top of you with bray laying on top of him, well sitting on him. “he told me- he told me he my uncle!” he turned to you and pointed at the screen, nodding his head aggressively. tom laughed “yeah i bet” he starts to remember when he took bray on set.

everyone let out tired laughs from the explanation and slowly fell asleep, tom holding your thigh as you left your hand in his hair.
