A few minutes pass by and it buzzed again. It's a news article update. Jewelry magnate and billionaire Adrianna 'heart-of-stone' Hagan recently spotted without her famous 14-carat diamond ring!

The writing on the page halted at the buzzing, slitted pupils flicking over to read the sender’s name displayed on the screen before placing the pen down to pick up the phone. The texts had popped up one after another and he tilted his head at the requests they made. Strange… she had wanted to avoid him in public lest a scandal attempt to sully her coat tails yet here she was asking to be escorted?

Flicking open the message to respond the article popped up and he scowled. He’d asked Lotus to disable that stupid bloody notification system from every gossip rag that somehow had enough money to force their news into peoples faces but not have their journalists take an adult literacy lesson.

Seeing Adrianna’s name in the headline or ‘clickbait’ as he’d been told they’re called he paused and opened the article. Ah…clickbait, of course. Skimming over the update he snorted and chuckled, spinning the phone between his fingers as he enjoyed this moment. Eventually he replied to her.
