Distance Between Us:
It all started slowly, too slow for you to realize.
The day you started to notice it was when it was late in the evening, and you were sitting on the couch, waiting for Bakugo to come home.
He had promised to spend the evening with you after work, but as the hours ticked by, your excitement turned into frustration. Finally, you heard the front door open.
Bakugo walked in, still in his hero uniform, his face tired and serious. "Sorry, I got held up at work. Some idiot caused a mess in the city," he muttered, tossing his gloves onto the table.
You smiled, trying to be understanding. "It’s okay. I’m just glad you’re home now. Want me to heat up the dinner I made for us?"
"Not hungry," he replied shortly, already pulling out his phone. "I need to check the patrol schedule for tomorrow. There’s a lot going on."
You sighed, your shoulders dropping. "Katsuki, can’t it wait? You’ve been working all day. We barely get time together."
But he didn’t seem to hear you, his eyes glued to the screen. "Huh? Yeah, sure, whatever you say."
The evening dragged on, and though he was physically present, his mind remained consumed by hero work.
You ended up eating dinner alone while he sat at the kitchen table, typing away on his laptop.
---
Another time was when he had made plans out of nowhere to hang out with his friends and ditch out on the two of you had planned.
It was a rare weekend when Bakugo didn’t have patrol or missions lined up.
You had planned a quiet day together—something simple, just the two of you.
But as you were setting up breakfast, his phone buzzed on the counter.
Bakugo glanced at the screen and smirked. "It’s Kirishima. He wants to hit the gym and grab lunch afterward. I’ll be back later."
Your stomach sank. "I thought today was for us? We haven’t had a day off together in weeks, Katsuki."
He blinked as if realizing for the first time that you might have feelings about this. "We can hang out later. It’s not like I’m gone all day. Plus, I haven’t seen the guys in a while."
You bit your lip, trying to keep your disappointment in check. "But we haven’t seen each other in a while either."
He paused for a second, then ruffled your hair in a halfhearted gesture. "Come on, it’s not a big deal. I’ll see you tonight." Before you could argue further, he was already grabbing his gym bag and heading out the door.
---
Another day came, and he did the same.
Bakugo’s dedication to his work often left him exhausted, and his sleep schedule was all over the place.
One night, you stayed up late, waiting for him to come to bed.
You had something important to talk about, but he was still in the living room, sprawled out on the couch, catching up on sleep.
"Katsuki," you called softly, standing in the doorway.
He grunted, barely lifting his head. "What is it?"
"I wanted to talk to you about something. It’s been on my mind for a while."
He groaned, sitting up slightly. "Can it wait? I just got back from a double shift, and I’m dead tired."
"But it’s important," you insisted, stepping closer.
He sighed, rubbing his eyes. "Y/n, I can’t deal with anything serious right now. Let’s talk tomorrow, okay?"
The next day came and went, and so did the conversation. You couldn’t help but wonder if you’d ever get the timing right.
---
Then, of course, came another.
One evening, Bakugo was in the backyard, practicing his explosions while you watched from the patio.
You had been waiting for him to finish so you could spend some quality time together, but he was completely absorbed in his training.
"Hey, Katsuki," you called out, waving at him. "How much longer are you going to be out here?"
"Not now, babe," he shouted back, his voice carrying over the sound of crackling explosions. "I’m almost done!"
Almost turned into an hour, and by the time he came inside, you were curled up on the couch, half-asleep.
He walked past you, grabbing a water bottle from the kitchen.
"Sorry, I lost track of time," he said, but there was no apology in his tone.
You gave him a small smile, too tired to argue. "It’s okay," you mumbled, though deep down, you wondered if he even realized how much you had been waiting for him.
---
In each of these scenarios, Bakugo’s priorities—whether work, friends, or personal routines—seemed to overshadow his time with you. While his intentions might not be malicious, his actions often left you feeling overlooked and craving the attention he gave to everything else in his life.
───────────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────────────
The evening was calm, the golden light of the setting sun filtering through the kitchen window, casting a warm glow across the counters.
You stood at the stove, carefully stirring the simmering pot of stew. The gentle aroma of sautéed vegetables, rich broth, and spices filled the air, blending seamlessly with the soft hum of the overhead fan.
Tonight, you had decided to prepare something special—something hearty and comforting, like the conversation you hoped to have with Bakugo.
It had been a while since the two of you had truly spent time together.
His hero work had consumed most of his days, leaving you with fleeting moments of his presence.
You understood, of course, the weight of his responsibilities, but that didn’t make the distance any easier.
So, as a gesture of love and an attempt to reconnect, you had spent the better part of the evening preparing this meal.
The kitchen was cozy, lit by the soft glow of under-cabinet lights.
Plates were set neatly on the table, silverware arranged perfectly beside them.
A bottle of chilled sparkling water stood in the center, and the faint crackle of the stovetop added a soothing rhythm to the room.
You glanced at the clock on the wall, noting the time. He should be home any minute now.
You adjusted the flame under the pot, letting the stew bubble gently, and moved to check on the freshly baked bread cooling on the counter.
The sound of the front door opening broke the quiet, followed by the rustling of heavy boots on the doormat.
Your heart gave a small flutter at the familiar noise.
He was home.
You didn’t look up from your task, your focus fixed on the pot as you gave it one last stir.
Toward the front door, the faint creak of the door closing reached your ears, followed by the soft thud of a duffle bag hitting the floor.
Bakugo’s presence filled the space immediately, even without a word.
The faint scent of smoke and ash mingled with the aroma of dinner, a signature of his return after a long day on patrol.
You heard the stretch of leather as he raised his arms high above his head, likely working out the stiffness from hours of action.
His footsteps echoed softly against the hardwood floor as he made his way down the hall.
You could picture him rubbing the back of his neck, his hair likely a mess from the day’s exertion.
The sound of his approach grew louder, each step deliberate yet unhurried, as if he were easing back into the calm of home.
You stayed at the stove, stirring slowly, waiting for him to join you in the kitchen, the moment of connection hanging in the air like the steam rising from the pot.
The clatter of the wooden spoon against the pot ceased as you set it down gently on the counter.
Wiping your hands on the apron tied snugly around your waist, you turned toward the kitchen's pillared entrance.
The soft shuffle of Bakugo’s steps nearing the kitchen tugged at your curiosity, and you couldn’t help but abandon your task momentarily.
You stepped around the corner, leaning casually against the frame of the kitchen entrance.
Resting your hand lightly on the wall, you peeked out toward him.
The sight of Bakugo, mid-stretch with his arms behind his head, immediately brought a fond smile to your lips.
His usual scowl was softened by a tiredness that clung to him, his messy ash-blond hair catching the dim light of the hallway.
He hadn’t noticed you yet, too busy absentmindedly rubbing the back of his neck, likely sore from a long day.
His broad shoulders rolled slightly as he worked out the tension, the faint sound of his knuckles popping filling the quiet space.
The corners of your lips curled further upward as you admired him in his element—worn out yet still exuding the confidence and strength you loved about him.
Before you could say anything, his crimson gaze lifted, finally catching sight of you standing there.
His expression didn’t shift much—just a subtle raise of his brows as if to acknowledge your presence.
You straightened slightly, your smile warm and inviting as you prepared to greet him.
But before you could utter a word, he spoke first, his gravelly voice breaking the silence.
“I’m going upstairs to shower. Gotta get this grime off my body.” His tone was matter-of-fact, and he started walking toward you without breaking stride, cracking his knuckles as he moved.
Your smile didn’t falter as he approached, though the hurriedness of his words made you hesitate. “Oh, well, that’s great,” you began, your voice light and teasing. “But don’t take too long becau—”
“Oh yeah, by the way, before I forget,” he interrupted, his voice cutting through yours without a hint of malice, just his usual bluntness. “The gang and I are gonna hang out later, so I won’t be home for long.”
The abruptness of his words hit you like a splash of cold water. Your mouth hung slightly open mid-sentence, the rest of your words caught in your throat.
Bakugo’s gaze didn’t linger long, already focused ahead as though his announcement was nothing out of the ordinary.
Bakugo’s heavy boots thudded softly against the wooden floor as he approached you, his expression unreadable but relaxed.
He stopped just in front of you, his tall frame towering slightly over yours.
The familiar scent of ash and sweat lingered faintly, a testament to his grueling day.
Without a word, his hand reached out, rough but warm, and landed gently on your head.
His fingers ruffled through your hair in a way that was both playful and dismissive, tousling it slightly.
A light smirk played on his lips as he pulled his hand back, his crimson eyes meeting yours briefly.
“I know you can handle things here, so I’ll leave you to it,” he said, his voice low and casual, like he hadn’t just brushed past the idea of spending time with you.
As you stood out in front of him, the confidence and courage you had gathered from cooking in the kitchen had disappeared.
Now that you felt this way, there was no way you were going to bring up spending time with him over dinner.
Even though you had spent all evening preparing this relaxing for the both of you to enjoy, you couldn’t bring yourself to to tell him.
You were scared that if you had opened up, he might have gotten angry and dismissed all your worries with his furrowed brows.
Your heart sank a little at his words, but you forced a small smile, not wanting to let it show.
He turned on his heel without a second glance, his footsteps carrying him toward the staircase that led to the second floor of your shared home.
As he walked, his broad shoulders swayed slightly, his relaxed demeanor a stark contrast to the tension that suddenly gripped your chest.
You stood frozen for a moment, your mouth hanging slightly open, the words you wanted to say stuck somewhere in your throat.
Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes, but you blinked rapidly, willing them away. You hated how they burned, how they threatened to spill over.
This wasn’t the first time Bakugo had brushed things off, but tonight, with the effort you’d put into dinner and the mounting distance you felt between you two, it stung more than usual.
He reached the first step of the staircase, his hand brushing against the railing as he prepared to ascend.
At you stood, something inside you snapped—a small but resolute voice urging you not to let the moment slip by.
Swallowing hard, you gathered the courage you had left, your voice trembling slightly but steady enough to cut through the air.
“Can I go too?”
Bakugo paused mid-step, his back still facing you, as the silence stretched between you both.
For a moment, you wondered if he had even heard you or if he’d continue up the stairs without a response.
Then, he turned his head slightly, revealing his side profile, his crimson eyes glancing at you.
“You wanna come?” he asked, his tone even and unreadable, a single brow raised in surprise.
Your hands instinctively came together, fidgeting as you avoided his gaze.
“Yeah,” you said softly, your voice barely above a whisper. Gathering a bit more courage, you glanced up at him, noticing his blank expression.
It only lasted a second before you looked down again, unsure how your request would be received. “I mean, if that’s okay…”
Bakugo stared at you for a beat longer, his brow still raised as if trying to gauge your seriousness.
Then, his features softened, his raised brow lowering as he gave a small, nonchalant nod.
“Yeah, uh, sure,” he said, his voice carrying a casualness that made it hard to tell how he really felt.
Without another word, he turned back toward the stairs.
Relief washed over you, and a small smile crept onto your face as you followed his movements with your eyes.
It wasn’t much, but his agreement made you feel a little better, a small step toward closing the gap that had been forming between you two.
As Bakugo reached the first step of the staircase, he stopped again, his hand on the railing.
He turned his head just enough to look back at you, his expression neutral but firm.
“I’m leaving by 6, so get ready,” he said, his tone leaving no room for negotiation.
Then, without waiting for a response, he ascended the stairs, his heavy footsteps echoing through the quiet house.
You stood there in the kitchen, your smile slowly fading as his words sank in.
Glancing at the half-finished dinner you’d worked so hard on, your arms dropped to your sides, mirroring the exhaustion settling in your chest.
The kitchen felt colder now, emptier, as you stood there alone, staring at the plans you’d made that now felt insignificant.
With a deep breath, you tried to shake off the weight of disappointment, forcing yourself to move and tidy up the counter.
But no matter how much you willed yourself to focus on the task at hand, the sting of his casual dismissal lingered, leaving a quiet ache in its wake.
───────────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────────────
The soft hum of the Porsche's engine filled the quiet evening air as Bakugo sat in the driver’s seat, his hand drumming absentmindedly on the steering wheel.
His gaze occasionally flicked toward the house, his sharp crimson eyes scanning for any sign of you.
The minutes ticked by, and though he didn’t say it out loud, he was growing impatient.
But there was a part of him that understood why you were taking your time—he had sprung this last-minute outing on you, and you deserved a moment to get ready properly.
Inside, you were slipping on your white Converse, carefully tying the laces with precision.
The finishing touch to your outfit had just been added—a chic combination of blue jeans, a navy blue tank top, and a white cardigan that fell perfectly against your frame.
You smoothed down the fabric, giving yourself a once-over in the mirror by the door.
Your navy blue purse rested comfortably on your shoulder, and the messy bun you’d styled earlier sat perfectly atop your head, with the white headband completing the look.
Satisfied, you grabbed your keys and reached for the door handle.
As you stepped outside, the soft glow of the porch light illuminated your figure.
The evening air was cool against your skin, and the faint scent of freshly cut grass lingered.
You glanced toward the sleek black Porsche parked in the driveway, where Bakugo sat waiting for you.
Inside the car, Bakugo looked up as the light from the open door seeped out, drawing his attention.
His sharp gaze landed on you, and for a moment, his breath hitched.
You looked stunning—effortlessly chic yet understated, the kind of beauty that didn’t need to try too hard.
The way the soft curls framed your face, the navy blue of your tank top complementing your skin, and the casual elegance of your outfit made his heart skip a beat.
He blinked, trying to maintain his usual composure, but the faintest tint of pink crept onto his cheeks, betraying him.
It was subtle, just enough to hint at the effect you had on him, but it was there.
His grip on the steering wheel tightened slightly as he tore his eyes away for a brief second, trying to recover.
"Damn," he muttered under his breath, glancing at the dashboard as if it could somehow distract him.
But his gaze inevitably drifted back to you, his expression softening in a way only you could bring out in him.
He didn't say anything just yet—he wasn’t the type to gush—but the way his cheeks betrayed a rare blush spoke volumes.
The soft hum of the Porsche’s engine was steady as Bakugo sat, his hand draped nonchalantly over the steering wheel while the other rested against his mouth.
His sharp crimson eyes flicked away from you as you descended the steps toward the car, trying to keep his focus elsewhere.
The blush that had crept onto his cheeks earlier lingered faintly, and though he wouldn’t admit it, seeing you like this had thrown him off his usual composure.
You opened the passenger door with care, stepping into the car and adjusting yourself in the plush seat.
The faint scent of Bakugo’s cologne mingled with the new-car smell, giving the cabin a warmth that was uniquely him.
As you closed the door gently behind you, you glanced up to see him leaning against the driver’s side, his elbow propped on the car door and his hand casually gripping the wheel.
His relaxed posture was natural, but the way his eyes darted toward you from the corners of his vision betrayed a subtle curiosity.
“Sorry I took so long,” you said softly, brushing a loose curl behind your ear.
Your voice broke the quiet tension, and you weren’t sure if you imagined his lips twitching into a faint smirk.
“It’s fine,” he replied, his tone gruff yet calm, as he adjusted himself in the seat and placed both hands on the wheel.
Hearing the simplicity of his response made you smile, a quiet warmth blooming in your chest.
You carefully removed your bag from your shoulder, placing it neatly on your lap.
Bakugo, meanwhile, shifted the car into reverse, the soft rumble of the engine vibrating beneath you as he backed out of the driveway with precision.
You stole a quick glance at him from the corners of your eyes.
The streetlights outside cast a warm, golden hue that framed his sharp jawline and stern features as he focused on maneuvering the car.
He looked so effortlessly confident, so in control—it was hard not to admire him.
Reaching up, you flipped open the vanity mirror above your head, giving yourself a quick once-over.
You smoothed down a stray curl and checked your lipstick, making sure everything was still in place.
Satisfied, you closed the mirror with a soft click and adjusted in your seat, letting your gaze wander back to him.
The quiet of the ride was broken only by the sound of the tires rolling over asphalt and the faint hum of the radio playing low in the background.
You bit your lip lightly, debating whether or not to say what had been on your mind.
Finally, you took a small breath, your fingers beginning to fidget nervously with the strap of your bag.
“Sooo…” you began, your voice tentative as you glanced out the window, gathering your thoughts.
Bakugo didn’t respond immediately, his focus remaining on the road ahead. His silence urged you to continue, so you did.
“How do I look?” you asked, your tone light yet tinged with curiosity.
Your gaze flickered toward him briefly before quickly looking back down at your lap, where your fingers continued to toy with your bag strap.
The quiet hum of the car filled the space between you and Bakugo, the tension thick enough to cut with a knife.
His eyes were fixed on the road, one hand on the wheel, while the other rested lazily on the gear shift.
You waited patiently, watching him through your peripheral vision, hoping for some kind of reaction to your question.
He didn’t answer immediately, his gaze momentarily darting toward you before returning to the street ahead.
The streetlights flickered as they passed, casting warm, golden hues across his sharp features.
His silence stretched on, and for a moment, you wondered if he hadn’t heard you.
Finally, Bakugo turned his head slightly, his crimson eyes flickering toward you.
His gaze traveled up and down, taking in the effort you’d put into your outfit—the way your cardigan fell over your tank top, the way your jeans fit perfectly, and the way you’d styled your hair just so.
His expression remained stoic, but his eyes lingered just a beat longer than usual before he turned back to the road.
“You look,” he began, his voice even though there was a slight edge of hesitation.
He glanced at you again, briefly meeting your expectant gaze before focusing back on the street.
You could see his jaw tighten slightly, as if he were searching for the right words. “Good.”
That was it. Just one single, lackluster word.
Your shoulders sank immediately, the corners of your mouth pulling down as disappointment washed over you.
You slumped back into the passenger seat, crossing your arms loosely over your chest and shifting your gaze out the window.
You had spent so much time getting ready, hoping that maybe this time, he’d notice—really notice—and say something that would make you feel special.
But “good” was all you got.
Bakugo, on the other hand, was far from unaffected, though he certainly didn’t show it.
His mind was racing, replaying the moment he’d glanced at you and the way your face had lit up with hope.
His knuckles tightened slightly on the steering wheel, and a bead of sweat formed at his temple as frustration with himself began to build.
His brows furrowed as he stole another glance at you.
You were staring out the window now, your expression unreadable but your body language screaming disappointment.
“Tch,” he muttered under his breath, gripping the wheel tighter.
You remained quiet, sinking further into your seat as the car rolled through the neighborhood streets.
Your fingers toyed with the edge of your cardigan, your mind replaying the moment over and over.
Maybe you’d set yourself up for disappointment.
Maybe this was just who he was—gruff, blunt, and not the type to shower you with compliments.
Still, you couldn’t help the small ache in your chest.
Bakugo’s jaw clenched as he continued to drive, the silence between you both growing heavier with each passing second.
───────────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────────────
The drive to Kirishima’s house was silent, the tension lingering like an unspoken weight between you and Bakugo.
He didn’t try to make conversation, and honestly, you weren’t sure you’d be able to respond even if he did.
Your disappointment sat heavy in your chest, though you were doing your best to push it down and keep your composure.
When the car finally rolled to a stop in front of Kirishima’s house, Bakugo shifted into park and stepped out without a word, slamming his door behind him.
You sighed softly, your fingers gripping the strap of your purse as you reached for the handle of the passenger door.
Opening it, you slid out of the car, closing it gently behind you.
Bakugo was already several steps ahead, his strong strides carrying him toward the house without so much as a glance back at you.
You swallowed hard, your throat feeling tight as you followed behind him, your fingers nervously playing with the strap of your purse.
You felt small and distant, the space between you and Bakugo feeling far more than just physical.
As Bakugo reached the front porch, the sound of laughter and chatter drifted through the air, spilling out from behind the closed door.
The lively atmosphere of the gathering inside only seemed to amplify the quiet distance you felt from him.
Bakugo raised a hand and knocked on the door firmly, stepping back slightly as he waited.
You stopped a few paces behind him, your hands gripping your purse strap tightly as your mind raced.
You were determined to stand tall, to keep your emotions in check and not let anyone see how you were feeling.
The door swung open after a few seconds, revealing Kirishima’s grinning face.
His red hair was as wild as ever, and his cheerful energy was almost infectious.
“Yo, man! You made it!” Kirishima greeted Bakugo with a hearty slap on the shoulder before turning his attention to you. “Hey! Good to see you too!”
“Hey, Kiri,” you said softly, forcing a small smile as you stepped closer to the door.
“Come on in! Everyone’s already here,” Kirishima said, stepping aside to let the two of you in.
You followed Bakugo inside, the warmth and energy of the room enveloping you immediately.
Mina, Jirou, Denki, and Sero were sprawled out in the living room, laughing and chatting amongst themselves.
Mina was the first to notice your arrival, her eyes lighting up as she waved enthusiastically.
“Hey, you two!” Mina called out, jumping up from her seat and rushing over to you.
She wrapped you in a quick hug, her bubbly personality as bright as always. “You look so cute tonight! I love your outfit!”
“Thanks, Mina,” you replied, your smile faltering slightly as you glanced toward Bakugo.
He was already making his way toward the group, offering a brief nod of acknowledgment before settling into a seat near Sero.
Denki grinned, leaning back on the couch and tossing a chip into his mouth. “Look who finally decided to show up. We thought you might’ve bailed on us, Bakugo.”
“Shut it, Sparky,” Bakugo shot back, though there was no real bite in his tone.
As the group erupted into laughter, you found yourself lingering near the edge of the room, unsure where to place yourself.
Mina noticed your hesitation and grabbed your arm gently.
“Come sit with us! You can’t just stand there looking all pretty and quiet,” she teased, leading you toward the group.
You let her guide you, settling into a spot on the couch beside Jirou.
The lively conversation around you was a stark contrast to the swirling emotions in your chest, but you did your best to blend in, laughing when it felt appropriate and nodding along to the banter.
All the while, your eyes occasionally flicked toward Bakugo.
He was laughing with Sero and Denki, his usual gruff demeanor softened slightly by the presence of his friends.
But not once did he look your way, and that small detail gnawed at you more than you wanted to admit.
You inhaled deeply, forcing yourself to focus on the moment and not the ache in your chest.
Tonight was about being with friends, and you were determined to make the most of it, even if things with Bakugo felt more complicated than ever.
You sat on the couch, nestled between Jirou and Mina, trying to focus on their lively conversation.
Bakugo was across the room, laughing with Sero and Denki as if the weight of the world didn’t exist.
You glanced at him briefly, your chest tightening before quickly averting your eyes back to Mina, who was animatedly recounting a story about a recent date with Kirishima.
“So, get this,” Mina said, her face lit with excitement. “Kiri and I went to this new arcade last week, right? And they had this claw machine he swore he could beat. It was filled with these little red dragon plushies—totally his thing, you know?”
Jirou smirked, leaning back against the couch. “Let me guess. He spent way too much money trying to win one?”
“Way too much!” Mina exclaimed, throwing her hands up dramatically. “But he finally got it, and he was so proud of himself. It was adorable.” She giggled, her expression softening.
“Honestly, though, it’s not even about the claw machine. Kiri and I just… we have fun, you know? We go out, we talk about everything.”
Jirou nodded, a small smile tugging at her lips. “That’s exactly how it is with me and Denki. He’s a dork, but he’s my dork. We go to concerts, hang out at record stores, and just… talk. Like, really talk. He tells me about his day, his dreams, even the dumb stuff that happens during patrols. It’s nice, being so connected.”
The warmth in their voices as they spoke about their relationships was palpable, and it made you feel like a shadow in their light.
You shifted in your seat, suddenly hyper-aware of the tightness in your throat.
“And you,” Mina said, turning her bright eyes toward you. “How are things with you and Bakugo?”
Jirou tilted her head, her expression curious but kind. “Yeah, how’s it going? You two seem solid.”
The question hit you like a punch to the gut.
You opened your mouth, but no words came out at first.
Your fingers fidgeted with the hem of your cardigan, and you forced a smile, even as your chest felt like it was caving in.
“Oh, we’re fine,” you said, your voice a little too high-pitched. You cleared your throat quickly, trying to steady yourself. “Everything’s good. Really good.”
Mina beamed. “That’s great! You two are like, the power couple. I mean, he’s Bakugo—grumpy as hell but so in love with you. It’s obvious.”
“Totally,” Jirou added, nodding. “You balance each other out, right? He’s all intensity, and you’re like this calming presence. It works.”
You laughed softly, the sound hollow to your own ears. “Yeah, it works,” you echoed.
They bought it, smiling warmly at you before diving back into their own banter.
But inside, you felt like you were crumbling.
The truth was, things weren’t fine.
They hadn’t been for a while. Bakugo’s constant focus on work, his friends, and his own world had left you feeling like an afterthought.
You glanced at him again.
He was leaning back in his chair, laughing at something Denki said, his sharp features softened by the rare smile on his face.
It was a side of him you loved, but right now, it only made the ache in your chest worse.
Forcing yourself to stay present, you turned back to Mina and Jirou, nodding along to their conversation.
You couldn’t let them see the truth—not here, not now.
So you plastered on your smile and pretended everything was fine, even as the weight of your unspoken feelings threatened to crush you.
---
An hour passed as you, Mina, and Jirou chatted away about everything under the sun—relationships, patrol stories, and even a hilarious moment when Denki shocked himself trying to fix a broken lamp.
Despite the warmth of their company, a small part of you still felt detached, your earlier feelings lingering like a shadow.
Mina, ever the bubbly one, suddenly perked up. “Hey, I just thought of something! Let’s go to the other room and watch a movie! I’ve been dying to see that new romance everyone’s talking about. What do you think?”
Jirou shrugged, a hint of a smile on her face. “Sounds good to me. I could use a break from all the noise out there.”
You hesitated, but the thought of getting away from the others, even for a little while, seemed appealing. “Yeah, sure,” you said softly, your voice steady despite the turmoil inside.
The three of you made your way to a quieter room down the hall.
It was cozier than the bustling main area, with soft lighting and a plush couch that wrapped around most of the room.
The atmosphere immediately felt more intimate and calm, a perfect escape.
Mina grabbed the remote and flopped onto one side of the couch. “Alright, let’s get this show on the road!”
Jirou settled next to her, her legs tucked beneath her while you took the other end of the couch.
The movie started, its opening scenes filled with charming banter and budding romance.
The three of you fell into a comfortable silence, the story drawing you in.
As the movie progressed, the lighthearted moments gave way to more emotional scenes.
The characters faced challenges, their love tested by misunderstandings and miscommunications.
Then, the pivotal scene arrived.
The male lead stood in the rain, his face etched with regret as he argued with the female lead.
Her voice broke as she shouted, tears streaming down her face. “You don’t get it! I feel invisible to you!” she cried, her words hitting too close to home for your comfort.
Your chest tightened as you watched her crumble, her emotions raw and unfiltered.
The male lead, realizing his mistake, stepped forward and pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly as she sobbed against his chest.
Your heart ached, the scene striking a chord that you couldn’t ignore.
The floodgates opened, and before you knew it, tears were streaming down your face.
Your breathing grew shallow, and your palms began to sweat as you clutched the couch cushion beside you.
Mina and Jirou, engrossed in the movie, didn’t seem to notice your reaction at first.
But as you sniffled quietly, Jirou glanced over, her expression softening. “Hey, you okay?” she asked, her voice gentle.
You quickly wiped your cheeks, forcing a smile. “Yeah, I’m fine. It’s just… really emotional,” you said, your voice wavering slightly.
Mina turned her head, concern flickering in her eyes. “It’s okay to cry, you know. Scenes like this get me every time,” she said, offering you a reassuring smile.
You nodded, appreciating their kindness but feeling exposed nonetheless.
The movie continued, but your mind was elsewhere.
The female lead’s words echoed in your head, intertwining with your own unspoken feelings.
“I feel invisible to you.”
The weight of those words settled in your chest, and though you tried to focus on the screen, the tears wouldn’t stop.
You wrapped your arms around yourself, trying to keep it together, but the truth was, you felt more vulnerable than ever.
The tears came harder, no longer quiet sniffles but soft, trembling sobs that you couldn’t hold back.
The scene on the screen blurred as your vision clouded with tears, and your chest felt impossibly heavy.
Mina and Jirou both turned toward you, their expressions shifting from casual concern to alarm.
“Whoa, hey… are you okay?” Jirou asked, leaning closer, her voice gentle but tinged with worry.
Mina’s brows furrowed, her lips pressing into a thin line.
She grabbed the remote and paused the movie, the room falling into silence except for your shaky breaths.
She scooted closer to you, her hand resting lightly on your arm.
“Alright,” Mina said firmly, her tone serious but warm. “What’s going on? This isn’t just about the movie, is it?”
You shook your head quickly, trying to wipe the tears away with the back of your hand, but they just kept coming.
“It’s nothing,” you stammered, your voice barely above a whisper.
Jirou gave you a skeptical look. “Come on, don’t do that. You’re obviously upset.”
Mina nodded, her grip on your arm tightening just slightly in encouragement. “Yeah, we’re here for you. So whatever it is, just say it.”
For a moment, you hesitated.
The lump in your throat made it hard to speak, and you didn’t want to burden them with your feelings.
But the way they looked at you, genuinely concerned and ready to listen, broke down the last of your defenses.
“It’s… it’s Bakugo,” you finally admitted, your voice cracking as fresh tears rolled down your cheeks. “I just… I feel like we’re drifting apart.”
Mina’s eyes softened, and Jirou tilted her head slightly, her expression thoughtful.
“What do you mean? Did something happen?” Mina asked, leaning forward, her tone gentle now.
You took a shaky breath, your hands fidgeting nervously in your lap. “I don’t know… it’s like he’s always so busy, and when he’s home, it’s like I’m not even there. He doesn’t notice when I try to do things for him. I cooked dinner tonight, hoping we could eat together and talk, but he just brushed it off and left to hang out with you guys.”
Mina’s face fell, a pang of guilt crossing her features. Jirou’s lips pressed together, her brow furrowing.
“I know he’s a hero, and I know his job is demanding, but… I just feel so invisible to him sometimes. Like I’m not a priority,” you continued, your voice trembling. “And I’m trying so hard to be okay with it, but it’s just… it’s hard.”
Mina reached for your hand, squeezing it tightly. “I’m so sorry,” she said softly. “I didn’t realize things were like this.”
Jirou nodded, her gaze serious. “That sounds really tough. You shouldn’t have to feel like that, especially not with someone who’s supposed to care about you.”
You sniffled, grateful for their support, but still feeling the weight of your emotions. “I don’t know what to do anymore. I love him, but… it feels like he’s slipping away.”
Mina wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you into a comforting hug. “You’re not alone in this, okay? We’ll figure it out. And honestly, Bakugo needs to hear this too. He probably doesn’t even realize how much he’s hurting you.”
Jirou nodded in agreement. “Yeah, he’s not exactly the most emotionally aware guy, but he cares about you. You just have to tell him how you feel.”
Their words brought a small measure of comfort, but the thought of confronting Bakugo about your feelings still terrified you.
You knew they were right, though. Something had to change.
You sat there in Mina’s embrace, your tears slowly subsiding, though your chest still felt tight.
The weight of their words lingered, and you knew they were right.
As terrifying as it seemed, you had to talk to Bakugo.
But how? He wasn’t exactly the type to sit down and have a heart-to-heart.
Mina pulled back slightly, her warm hands resting on your shoulders as she looked you in the eye. “You have to tell him,” she said firmly.
“And not in a ‘hinting’ kind of way. Lay it all out. He’s not good at picking up subtle stuff.”
Jirou nodded, leaning back on the couch. “Yeah, Bakugo’s not gonna magically figure it out. But if you’re honest with him, I think he’ll listen. He’s stubborn, but he’s not heartless.”
You sniffled, wiping your face with the sleeve of your cardigan. “I just… I don’t want to come off as needy or like I don’t support him. I know how hard he works.”
Mina sighed, shaking her head. “Girl, no. This isn’t about being needy. This is about being in a relationship where you feel seen and loved. You’re allowed to have needs, too.”
Jirou added, “And honestly? If he doesn’t get that, then that’s on him. Relationships are about both people putting in effort. It’s not all on you.”
You nodded slowly, their words sinking in.
It wasn’t easy to hear, but deep down, you knew they were right.
You couldn’t keep bottling everything up and hoping things would magically improve.
Mina smiled softly, brushing a stray strand of hair from your face. “Look, Bakugo might be a hothead, but he’s not a bad guy. If he knew you were feeling this way, I think he’d do something about it. But you’ve got to give him the chance to step up.”
You sighed, fiddling with the strap of your purse. “I guess I’ll try talking to him later… when we’re alone.”
“Good,” Mina said with a nod, her tone encouraging. “And if you need backup, you know where to find us.”
Jirou smirked slightly. “Yeah, we’ll set him straight if he doesn’t get the message.”
The three of you shared a small laugh, the tension easing just a bit.
Mina grabbed the remote and turned the movie off completely, standing up and stretching.
“Alright, let’s get back to the others before they start wondering what we’re up to.”
You nodded, standing up and smoothing out your clothes.
As the three of you made your way back to the main living room, you felt a mix of emotions swirling inside you.
Anxiety, hope, and determination all competed for space in your heart.
As you stepped into the room, Bakugo was standing near the corner with Kirishima, laughing at something Sero had said.
His usual sharp smirk was etched on his face, but there was something different in the way his eyes flickered toward you, a hint of something unreadable beneath his confident exterior.
For a moment, you just watched him, debating how you’d navigate the rest of the evening while the conversation with Mina and Jirou still echoed in your mind.
What you didn’t know, however, was that Bakugo had heard everything.
It wasn’t intentional.
On his way to the bathroom earlier, he had walked past the closed door of the cozy room where you and the girls had been talking.
At first, he hadn’t thought much of it—just chatter from Mina and Jirou, nothing unusual.
But then he caught the sound of your voice, trembling slightly, and his feet had stopped.
He hadn’t meant to eavesdrop. Really, he hadn’t.
But something in your tone made him pause, leaning against the hallway wall just out of sight.
He listened as Mina and Jirou pressed you about how things were going between the two of you.
He heard the way your voice wavered when you said everything was fine—so unconvincing that even he could tell it was a lie.
And then came the confession.
You weren’t happy.
You felt ignored, neglected.
You felt like he didn’t see you anymore.
The words hit him like a punch to the gut, and for a moment, he couldn’t breathe.
You, the person he cared about most, felt like you were slipping away, and he hadn’t even noticed.
His knuckles clenched, and his jaw tightened as he leaned his head back against the wall.
Guilt surged through him, hot and unrelenting. He wasn’t great with emotions; he knew that.
But hearing you spill your heart out to your friends, feeling like he didn’t care enough—it stung more than he wanted to admit.
When Mina and Jirou encouraged you to talk to him, he heard the hesitation in your voice, the fear of being seen as needy or overbearing.
It made his chest ache. You should never feel like that—not with him.
He had walked away before you left the room, needing a moment to collect himself.
By the time he rejoined the group, his mind was racing.
As you stepped into the living room, Mina nudged you gently with her elbow. “You’ve got this,” she whispered before heading to the group, leaving you to take a deep breath and square your shoulders.
Bakugo, standing near the corner, glanced your way.
His sharp smirk remained, but his eyes lingered on you a little longer than usual, softening for the briefest second before he turned back to Kirishima and the others.
He didn’t say anything, but in the back of his mind, he was already planning.
He wouldn’t let you feel like this again. Not if he could help it.
---
The night had wound down, and one by one, everyone began saying their goodbyes.
Mina and Kirishima gave you tight hugs, Mina giving you a reassuring smile as if to silently remind you of the conversation you’d had.
Jirou patted your arm, her subtle way of showing she was rooting for you.
Bakugo, meanwhile, was his usual self—casual nods, a few gruff “See ya’s,” and a fist bump for Kirishima.
His energy seemed as steady as ever, though you noticed the way his eyes flickered toward you more than once, a slight crease in his brow that he didn’t quite hide.
As the two of you made your way to his car, the quietness of the night enveloped you.
The cool breeze brushed against your skin, and the sound of your shoes crunching against the gravel filled the silence.
You felt Bakugo’s presence ahead of you, his confident stride unchanging, though he occasionally glanced back to make sure you were keeping up.
When you reached the car, he pulled his keys from his pocket, unlocked the doors, and slid into the driver’s seat.
You followed, gently closing the passenger door behind you and placing your bag on the floor by your feet.
The faint scent of leather and his cologne filled the space, a scent you usually found comforting.
Without a word, Bakugo started the engine.
The low rumble of the car filled the stillness as he pulled out of the driveway and onto the street.
His hands rested on the wheel, firm but relaxed, his eyes trained on the road ahead.
You glanced at him from the corner of your eye, trying to read his expression, but it was the same stoic mask he always wore.
The weight of the evening felt heavy in your chest, and despite the warmth of the car, you felt a chill run through you.
The drive was quiet at first, the soft hum of the engine the only sound between you.
You wanted to say something, anything, but the words felt stuck in your throat.
You fidgeted with your fingers, your gaze shifting between the passing streetlights outside and Bakugo’s profile.
He hadn’t said much since you left Kirishima’s house, and it left you wondering if he’d noticed the distance between you—or if it even mattered to him at all.
Bakugo’s hands tightened slightly on the wheel as he drove, his jaw clenching and unclenching as if he was working through something in his mind.
His gaze remained steady, but every now and then, you noticed his eyes flicker toward you, though he said nothing.
The silence was deafening, and with every passing second, it felt like the space between you grew larger.
Finally, unable to take the tension anymore, you shifted in your seat and let out a soft sigh, your voice barely above a whisper.
“Thanks for driving,” you said, your tone polite but distant.
He grunted in response, a low “Yeah,” his focus still on the road.
The quiet settled again, heavier this time, and you found yourself staring out the window, the lights of the city blurring past.
You wanted to say more, to breach the gap between you, but something held you back.
Bakugo, meanwhile, stole another glance at you, his expression unreadable.
He wanted to speak, to address the weight in the air, but the words felt foreign to him.
For now, he just drove, the road stretching ahead, both of you caught in your own thoughts.
The car hummed softly as the city lights flickered past, but the silence between you and Bakugo felt louder than anything else.
You leaned your head against the cool glass of the window, your eyes fixed on the blurred scenery.
Your hand rested on your lap, fingers nervously fidgeting with your nails as your thoughts raced.
What had started as disappointment had now spiraled into uncertainty.
You couldn’t shake the weight of the conversation with Mina and Jirou, nor the growing chasm between you and Bakugo.
You’d tried so hard to keep it together, but being here, so close yet feeling so far, made it even harder.
Bakugo kept his eyes on the road, his grip on the wheel firm.
Inside, he was battling a storm of emotions.
The echoes of your words from earlier replayed in his mind, mingling with the snippets of the conversation he’d overheard at Kirishima’s.
“I just… I don’t know how much more I can take.”
He wasn’t good with words.
Hell, he wasn’t even good at feelings most of the time. But he wasn’t stupid—he could feel the distance, and it frustrated him because he didn’t know how to close it.
His crimson eyes flickered to you briefly.
The way you sat there, so quiet and withdrawn, tugged at something deep in his chest.
He hated seeing you like this, especially knowing he’d been the one to make you feel this way.
After what felt like forever, Bakugo’s resolve finally cracked.
His hand hesitated on the wheel, fingers tightening for a moment before he let out a sharp breath.
Slowly, almost cautiously, he reached over.
His hand covered yours, warm and slightly rough, the weight of it grounding you.
You blinked, startled by the sudden contact, and turned your head to look at him.
Bakugo didn’t meet your gaze right away.
His eyes stayed focused on the road ahead, his jaw tight, like he was bracing himself for something.
His thumb shifted slightly, brushing against your fingers in an awkward but earnest gesture.
“Hey,” he said, his voice quieter than usual, almost hesitant. “Stop doin’ that.”
You stared at him, confused. “Doing what?”
“Fidgetin’ like that,” he muttered, finally glancing at you for a split second before looking back at the road. “You’ll mess up your nails or somethin’.”
His words were gruff, almost dismissive, but the way his hand stayed on yours told you there was more to it.
He wasn’t just talking about your fidgeting—he was trying, in his own clumsy way, to tell you he cared.
Your chest tightened as you looked down at your joined hands.
The warmth of his touch, the slight awkwardness of the gesture—it all made your emotions bubble up again, but this time, they weren’t as heavy.
“Katsuki…” you began, your voice barely above a whisper.
“Don’t,” he interrupted, his grip on your hand tightening just a fraction. “Don’t say it. Not here, not like this.”
You nodded, swallowing the lump in your throat, and leaned back against the seat.
For the first time that evening, the silence between you didn’t feel quite as suffocating.
The car came to an abrupt stop at a red light, but the tension in the car felt like it had slammed into a wall at full speed.
Bakugo’s hand hovered over the wheel, his knuckles white as he gripped it.
His chest rose and fell with uneven breaths, but your anger was a storm now, and it couldn’t be contained.
“Seriously?” you demanded, your voice sharp and trembling. “If not here, then where? If not now, then when?”
Your hand yanked away from his, the warmth of his touch replaced by the cold sting of frustration. “You always say that, Bakugo. You always brush our problems away. You… you brush me off like I’m some kind of bug.”
His eyes darted to you, his lips parting as if to defend himself, but you didn’t give him the chance.
“You treat me like I’m not worth your time,” you continued, your voice cracking under the weight of your emotions. “Do you even know what I was doing before you came home? I was cooking dinner. For you. For us.”
Your hands shook as you gestured toward him, your words pouring out in a rush. “I did all of that so we could talk, so we could try to fix this. Just so I could know—know for sure—that I mean something to you.”
The light turned green, and Bakugo hit the gas with a little more force than necessary, his jaw tight as he stayed silent.
But you couldn’t stop now.
“But of course,” you spat, your voice rising, “your friends are more important! Work, training, hangouts—all of it is more important than me!”
The car swerved slightly as Bakugo’s grip faltered, and he shot you a glance, his brows furrowed in frustration and guilt. “But they’re not! You’re more important—”
“Don’t give me that crap!” you cut him off, your voice almost a shout now. “If I’m so important, then why do you keep pushing me away? Why do you make time for everyone and everything else but not for me? Huh? Answer me!”
Bakugo’s mouth opened, but no words came out. His silence was deafening, and it only stoked the fire inside you.
“Why, Katsuki?” you pressed, your voice trembling with a mix of anger and hurt. “Why do I have to fight so hard to feel like I matter to you?”
The car pulled into your driveway, and Bakugo threw it into park, his hands gripping the wheel so tightly it looked like he might snap it in two.
For a moment, the only sounds were your ragged breaths and the faint hum of the engine.
Finally, Bakugo exhaled sharply and turned to you, his crimson eyes filled with a mixture of guilt, frustration, and something else—something softer, something that looked a lot like regret.
“You do matter,” he said, his voice low but firm. “You mean everything to me, damn it. I just… I don’t know how to show it.”
But you shook your head, the tears you’d been holding back finally spilling over. “That’s not enough, Katsuki. It’s not enough to just say it. I need to feel it. And right now, I don’t.”
Your words hung in the air, heavy and unshakable, as Bakugo stared at you, his expression unreadable.
For once, the explosive hero had no words, and the silence between you felt like it could split the world in two.
Your chest heaved as the emotions you’d been holding in for so long spilled over.
Tears streamed down your face, your voice trembling and raw as you finally let everything out.
“Why couldn’t you have just spent time with me?” you cried, your voice breaking as your gaze locked on Bakugo.
He flinched at the pain in your voice but said nothing, his hands clenching into tight fists on his lap.
“Why couldn’t you see that while you were having fun, I was feeling miserable?!” you continued, your words cutting through the silence like shards of glass.
Bakugo’s eyes darted toward you, filled with a mix of guilt and helplessness, but you didn’t stop. You couldn’t stop.
“Listen, Katsuki...” you began, your voice softer but no less intense. “I love you. So much it hurts.” Your words hung in the air, trembling with sincerity. “But it’s starting to feel like... like you don’t feel the same.”
His head snapped up at that, his crimson eyes wide and frantic. “That’s not true!” he blurted, his voice rough and unsteady. “Don’t—don’t say that, alright?”
But you shook your head, your tears falling harder now. “Then why does it feel like I’m always fighting for your attention? Fighting for a moment of your time?”
Your voice cracked, and you pressed a trembling hand to your chest, as if trying to hold yourself together.
Bakugo opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out.
His jaw tightened, and his gaze fell to his lap, his fingers gripping his knees so hard it looked painful.
You could see the frustration, the guilt, the turmoil swirling in his expression, but it wasn’t enough.
It didn’t fix the ache in your heart.
“I don’t want to feel like this anymore,” you whispered, your voice barely audible. “Like I’m not enough for you. Like I’m not your priority.”
Bakugo’s head snapped up again, his eyes blazing with emotion. “You are my priority!” he insisted, his voice desperate now.
“You’re everything to me, alright? I just... I just don’t know how to handle all this shit sometimes!”
His voice cracked at the end, and for the first time, you saw something in him you rarely did—vulnerability.
He looked at you like he wanted to say a million things but didn’t know where to start.
But it wasn’t enough. Not yet.
“Then show me, Katsuki,” you said, your voice steady despite the tears streaming down your face. “If I mean so much to you, then show me. Because words aren’t enough anymore.”
His breath hitched, and for a moment, the only sound in the car was the faint hum of the engine.
Bakugo looked at you, really looked at you, and for once, the explosive hero seemed completely lost.
Bakugo’s chest rose and fell with unsteady breaths as he stared at you, his crimson eyes shadowed with guilt and frustration.
He opened his mouth to respond, but the words seemed to die in his throat.
His hands clenched tighter on his lap, and he turned his gaze to the steering wheel, as if looking at you was too much to bear.
The silence stretched, heavy and suffocating.
You could feel your heart breaking all over again as you watched him struggle to say something—anything—that could make it better.
“You’re right,” he finally said, his voice low and strained. “I’ve been a shitty boyfriend.”
The admission startled you.
Your breath hitched, and you blinked through your tears as you waited for him to continue.
“I’ve been so focused on everything else—work, training, trying to keep up with everyone—that I didn’t realize what it was doing to you. To us.”
He dragged a hand through his hair, the motion rough and frustrated. “And that’s on me.”
His voice trembled slightly, and he slammed his fist against the steering wheel, the sharp thud breaking the tense quiet. “Dammit, I didn’t mean to make you feel like this. Like you don’t matter.”
You watched him, your tears still falling, but something in his voice tugged at your heart.
It wasn’t just guilt; it was desperation.
“But you do, alright?” he said, turning to face you fully now. His crimson eyes locked onto yours, raw and unguarded.
“You matter more than anything else in my life. I just... I don’t know how to balance it all without screwing it up.”
His hands trembled as they rested on his thighs, and you realized how much it was costing him to admit this.
Bakugo Katsuki, the man who always seemed so sure of himself, so strong and unshakable, was unraveling in front of you.
“You’re not the problem, alright? I am,” he continued, his voice softer now. “And I swear to you, I’ll fix this. I’ll fix us. Just... don’t give up on me yet.”
Your heart ached at the vulnerability in his words, but the pain you’d been carrying for so long still lingered.
You looked at him, your tears blurring your vision, and took a shaky breath.
“Katsuki, I’m not asking for perfection,” you whispered, your voice trembling. “I’m asking for you to try. To make me feel like I’m worth it. Like we’re worth it.”
He nodded, his jaw tight as he swallowed hard.
“I will,” he said, his voice firm despite the emotion in his eyes. “I’ll prove it to you. I’ll be better. For you.”
You stared at him, searching his face for sincerity, and what you saw there made something in your chest loosen.
He looked at you like you were his whole world—like he couldn’t bear the thought of losing you.
For the first time in a long time, you felt a flicker of hope. It was small, fragile, but it was there.
“Okay,” you said softly, your voice barely above a whisper. “I’ll hold you to that.”
Bakugo nodded again, his eyes never leaving yours. “You can.”
The car fell into silence again, but this time, it wasn’t heavy or suffocating.
It was filled with unspoken promises, with the beginnings of something better.
And for now, that was enough.
---
Bakugo’s hand enveloped yours, firm yet gentle, as if he was anchoring himself to you.
The warmth of his grasp communicated what his words had struggled to convey earlier—a need, a desire to hold on to you no matter what.
The silence in the car was filled with unspoken understanding as you both sat there, the weight of the evening settling between you.
When the car finally pulled into your driveway, you barely had time to move before Bakugo was already out of the driver’s seat.
He strode purposefully around the car, his movements sharp yet filled with intent.
You blinked in surprise as he opened the passenger door, crouching down to your level.
His crimson eyes met yours, raw and unguarded. “You mean a lot to me,” he began, his voice steady but thick with emotion.
“So much... and I’m sorry for not showing you.”
Your breath caught in your throat as his words tumbled out, each one more heartfelt than the last.
“I’m sorry for not replying. I’m sorry for not being there. I’m sorry for not showing up,” he continued, his voice cracking slightly as he leaned closer.
“I promise, though, from now on... everything I do, I’ll do it with you on my mind.”
His hands found their way to your thighs, a touch so gentle and deliberate it sent a shiver through you.
It wasn’t just an apology—it was a plea, a vow.
“I promise you,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper, “that from now on, I’ll do everything in my power to make you feel loved. So please, don’t give up on me. Please, don’t lose hope.”
Your heart clenched at the vulnerability in his tone, the rawness of his confession.
Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes, but you managed a small, wavering smile as you placed your hand over his.
“You swear?” you asked, your voice trembling with emotion.
His grip on your thigh tightened just slightly, his crimson eyes boring into yours with unwavering determination.
“I promise,” he said, his voice firm yet soft.
That was all you needed to hear.
A small, genuine smile spread across your lips as you nodded.
For the first time in what felt like forever, you felt the weight lifting off your chest.
After a moment, Bakugo stepped back slightly, holding out his hand to you.
You placed your hand in his, and he helped you out of the car with a gentleness that contrasted his usual brash demeanor.
Once you were both standing, he didn’t hesitate—he pulled you into a tight, almost desperate hug.
His arms wrapped around your waist, holding you as if he was afraid you’d slip away.
His head rested against your shoulder, and you could feel the tension in his body slowly melting away.
“I missed you,” you whispered, your fingers threading gently through his spiky blonde hair.
“I missed you more,” he murmured against your shoulder, his voice low and filled with emotion.
You stayed like that for a while, wrapped up in each other’s warmth, the world around you fading into insignificance.
It was as if time had paused, giving you both a chance to reconnect, to heal.
When he finally pulled back, his hands still rested on your waist, and his gaze locked onto yours.
The intensity in his eyes took your breath away, and before you could say anything, he leaned in, capturing your lips in a deep, passionate kiss.
It wasn’t just a kiss—it was an apology, a promise, a declaration.
His lips moved against yours with a fervor that made your knees weak, his hands tightening slightly on your waist as if to ground himself.
You responded just as passionately, pouring every ounce of love, frustration, and hope into the kiss.
When you finally pulled apart, both of you were breathless, your foreheads resting together.
His crimson eyes softened as he looked at you, a small, genuine smile tugging at his lips.
“Thank you,” he said softly. “For not giving up on me.”
You smiled back, your hand coming up to cup his cheek. “Just don’t make me regret it.”
He chuckled softly, his voice lighter than it had been all evening. “I won’t. I swear.”
In that moment, standing together in the driveway under the soft glow of the porch light, you felt something shift between you.
A new beginning, built on honesty and love. And for the first time in a long time, you believed things could truly get better.

ok but imagine shy lil missus o'hara who's a stay at home wife while miguel goes off to either alchemax or to fight some bad guys
and miguel comes home stressed all the time but just a touch of her hand on his shoulder grounds him after all that fighting
and miguel is tired but happy, grateful for his little love taking such good care of him :)) giving you a forehead kiss before he goes off to the bathroom, settling in the perfectly warm bath prepared for him before indulging in his little wife's amazing cooking
but one night when he comes home a little bit more tense than usual
she's very tense
she's heard him yelling at his subordinates over the phone and yelling at dumb-ass cops who get in the way of him stopping some thief
and while miguel has always been soft and kind and gentle with her, she's scared that she'll accidentally do something wrong :((
so miguel walks past her, exhausted, and almost smiles at the smell of dinner
no forehead kiss for her :(( poor baby
sitting at the dining table head in his hands as he mumbles about not getting the chance to grab a snack, let alone a break in spanish
and she knows he's hungry, but she knows his whole body will be aching if he doesn't take a bath to regulate his body temperature
but poor baby doesn't know how to say it without him possibly snapping at her :((
she's standing on the other side of the table nervously fidgeting with the dish towel and finding the right words to say
"y-you... you gotta t-take a bath f-first..."
miguel sighs into his hands. "i know, but im really hungry, cariño..."
"b-but... if you don't... you'll be s-sore..."
he looks up, brows furrowing. "what?"
he was genuinely confused why you seemed so scared of him, but his voice came out a bit more bluntly than he meant it to.
your eyes widen and you look down. "n-nothing," you mumble, tears beginning to well up in your eyes. "sorry."
"hey, hey, baby..." miguel stands up, walking over to you and pulling you into his arms. "what's wrong? did i say something?"
"no..." you sniffle, "jus thought i made you mad..."
"no, no, no, i'm not mad," he kisses all over u: your teary eyes, your wobbling lips, your forehead, the tip of ur nose
miguel kisses you deeply and then hugs you close to him. "im not mad, i promise. i'm just so so tired and hungry and the food smelled so good i'm gonna die if i don't get to taste it," he whispers, laughing when you giggle at his declaration.
"the bath can wait," he caresses your cheek with his hand.
"b-but you're gonna get cramps tomorrow if-"
he cuts you off with a big smooch to your face. "it doesn't matter. im staying home tomorrow."
"wh-what?!" you look up at him as he sits down, pulling you into his lap. "but you have work- and- and you're spiderman- and-"
he shakes his head, running his fingers through your hair.
"i'm your husband first, and all that other shit second."
miguel sighs, pulling you closer.
"i know i haven't been taking care of you the way i should be."
before you can interject about how he's doing so much already, he presses a finger against your lips.
"ssh. and alchemax and the cops don't really give a shit about me, can probably last every other day without me there. they'd probably have a field day without this jackass there," he chuckles. "but you, baby, i need to return the favor- ah, ah! let me finish, gatita- return the favor for keeping this place a safe space for me."
a kiss here, a kiss there. "entiendes?"
you nod, hugging him. "just glad you're home," you mumble, nuzzling into his neck.
he spends the rest of that hour enjoying the food you made for him while also feeding you and rattling all about the thugs he stopped that day.
then he pulls you into the bath with him, despite your protests, and laughs as he splashes you with the soapy water, making you squeal and threaten to spray him with the shower nozzle
then the two of you dry up and snuggle in bed, not bothering to put on any clothes. miguel smiles down at you and you smile up at him, before he rolls you on your back and crawls over you to make the sweetest yet roughest love to show you just how thankful he is for having a sweet lil thing like u to come home to <3

Hi! I was wondering if you could do some angst with the hazbin hotel characters? Like we get into an argument and they yell and notice we went silent, looking as if we were gonna break down into tears, IM SORRY I JUST LIVE FOR ANGST AHHH
Hazbin Hotel characters making their S/O cry
Alastor
Tumblr media
He was preparing for tomorrow night's broadcast when he heard the door open.
He had been working on his radio broadcast and hotel things for the whole day. He was under so much stress and took it out on you.
"Darling, you know I've been in here all day. Is it that difficult to knock?! You know these things are important! Why must you interrupt me?!"
He didn't get an answer. You just slammed the door and ran out.
He felt terrible as soon as he saw sadness in your eyes.
He ran after you and hugged you, rubbing circles on your back and telling you how sorry he was.
Lucifer
Tumblr media
He was very pissed at how much Alastor and Charlie got along.
He was working on his rubber ducks, not hearing you walk in.
He didn't know you were in the room until you hugged him from behind.
"What? What is it now?!" He shouted, dropping his rubber duck to the floor.
"Could you leave me alone for five minutes when you know I'm busy?!"
"Wow, fuck you!" You said before slamming the door and using your powers to get to the hotel.
Alastor opened the door to see you crying and brought you to the couch, giving you a hug.
You barely got the chance to finish telling Alastor what happened before Lucifer ran to you, crying and apologizing.
You were able to talk things out and agreed to be more open about feelings.
Sir Pentious
Tumblr media
Pentious was working on a new invention. But, since he was trying to get redeemed, it couldn't be for evil.
He was trying to build things to help with the hotel. Right now, he was making something to lift Niffty up around the hotel.
You were trying to help while also keeping the egg bois under control, not realizing you were distracting him.
"Will you please stop already! You're supposed to be watching them, but you're just as annoying!!"
You had tears in your eyes as soon as you turned around.
"Fine!" You yelled before running off.
"That wasn't very nice, boss. You should apologize."
When Pentious saw you, you were sitting on the couch by the TV with Charlie hugging you.
"Y/N, may I speak with you? I would like to apologize."
You silently nodded, standing up next to him.
"I'm sorry, my dearest, can you ever forgive me?"
"As long as you promise to tell me what's wrong and how to properly help in the future."
He pulled you into a hug and wrapped his tail around you.
Husker
Tumblr media
The bar was open way later than usual because Charlie decided to have an open house for the hotel.
Free drinks were pretty much a necessity when you're trying to lure in sinners.
Husk seemed fine/ his usual brand of grumpy.... Until he saw you talking and laughing with some guy and pulled you into an empty hallway.
"What the fuck was that? Did you really think I would be too busy to see you flirting like a whore?"
Even with tears in your eyes, you could tell he's been drinking vodka straight.
You pushed him away from you.
"That's my cousin, you asshole! He was asking me about the hotel."
You ran away, going right to the room you shared with Husk and trying to go to sleep.
Husk spent the rest of the party drinking water and eating a few snacks to fight the future hangover.
When you woke up, Husk had his wings and arms wrapped around you. He didn't even bother trying to sleep.
"I'm sorry, Y/N. I was such an idiot and I hurt the best person who's ever been in my life. I freaked out about seeing you with someone else..... because I know I don't deserve you, and I don't want to lose you."
He was crying into your shoulder, and you pulled him into a hug.
"You couldn't lose me if you wanted to. Just remember, I love you more than anything, and I'd rather die again than lose you.
(A/N : This sucks ass and I'm sorry this took me so long. I hope you like it, though. )

Hello!
So I have had a day, already. And I was really hoping for some dark possessive fluff. Im looking for Alec being insecure and unsteady, coming back to himself to realize that all of a sudden this guy who he just met is now his everything. And he’s not complaining or anything but they just met. Everything is different now and he is entirely dependent on Magnus. As far as he can tell the only thing Magnus is getting out of this is a shadowhunter/former shadowhunter. So he builds a wall just like he did for the clave where he uses parts of himself to be everything they wanted (soldier/leader/good son) but now it’s what he thinks Magnus wants (good boy/obedient/trophy/what have you) to protect the rest of himself. It’s not like it’s a lie, it is a part of him but this way he’ll still have pieces when Magnus gets board and leaves and get to enjoy now.
Magnus is over here like oh my sweetest darling aren’t you adorable! I see what you are doingbut there will be none of that. You are not allowed to hide any piece of you from me because all of you is mine and I will never leave. I will cherish, adore, and hoard every piece of you for the rest of our very long lives. Just dark possessive fluff
NSFW/SFW and in any of your works where it fits
i hope you feel better and have a better tomorrow day and tonight night! because that sentence held the weight of a very rough day.
this actually helped me jump a gap in one of my fics. because there is a reason alec gets comfortable with magnus so quickly and the prompt help me pick a direction to go! hope you enjoy! last bit of fic here.

<3 lumine
maybe i'm the villain
Alec’s tail flicks despite his efforts to control it which only leads to annoyance and his ears further betraying him by bristling… at himself.
It’s with a silent sigh that Alec ignores Magnus’ amused gaze and instead figures out what to do with himself.
Magnus likes him for sex, that much is clear and while Alec isn’t quite sure how to go about being sexy, he does know what Magnus likes. Which seems to be in his best interests to adhere to.  Alec understands that he’d traded one role for another, but being Magnus’ well, whatever he is, is less dangerous and easier to do.
The parts that Alec will need to hide or destroy aren’t things that are integral parts of Alec.
Alec’s used to having his orders ignores and his plans left unfollowed. Ignoring the part of his mind that makes leaps and tracks things won’t be hard. Alec’s had to ignore his instincts his whole life.
Likewise Alec already knows to hide most parts of his personality and he’s already been able to express himself far more than he’s used to.
Alec can manage this much.
Whatever Alexander is thinking about so fiercely, it must be very important.
Yet Magnus can’t help but be amused.
Alexander is adorable and despite his best efforts, he can’t help himself.  His tail curling over Magnus’ wrist even as Alexander’s ears flatten against his scalp.
At long last, his kitten seems to come to a conclusion and Magnus watches as a part of Alexander’s eyes dim. The bright intelligence and sharp interest that were only dulled by pleasure fades.  It’s as if a curtain has suddenly closed, the stage nothing more than a hollow shell.
Magnus blinks, surprised and more than a little irritated.
Does Alexander think Magnus wants him simply to be a sex toy?
That’s not what Alexander is and that’s not what Magnus wants.
Magnus likes his kitten, fierce and fighting with biting wit and intelligence than even pleasure can’t fully override.
He wants Alexander exactly how he is, tamed to his palm and touch alone.
Magnus lets Alexander kneel and rest his head on Magnus’ knee.  A gesture he’d appreciate in any other context than the one its meant.
Magnus claws scrape against skin as he drags them through Alexander’s hair and down his cheek to pull his face up.
“Who said you could hide from me, Alexander?”
It’s not the question itself that shocks Alec, it’s that Magnus noticed.  Or, maybe not even that.  Maybe it’s that he noticed and actually cared enough to mention it.
“Isn’t that what you’d prefer?”
“If I want you to stop thinking, I’ll fuck you stupid.” Magnus tells him and Alec can’t help but be relieved and amused by his equal bluntness. “I like you how you are, Alexander. You. I stripped you bare of the Clave and I enjoyed what I saw darling. I liked the fact that I had a predator who’d bite back except for one fact.”
“That being?”
“The same reason you came to me, even without knowing you were already mine.  You wanted to be mine, just as much as I wanted you.”
The thought that Magnus could want him, as Alec is in his entirety seems as impossible as Magnus wanting Alec as much as Alec wants him. This is a win for Alec for many reasons.
This is nothing but trouble for Magnus.
Alec is nothing but trouble for Magnus.
“Magnus that doesn’t make any sense—” he tries to explain but Magnus hushes him, the claw on Alec's chin sliding up to rest on his lower lip.
“What does logic have in the face of a dragons wants, Alexander?”
And well, that stops of Alec’s arguments because really who can argue with a dragon and their instincts.  If Magnus wants Alec, as he is, not chiseled down to fit a mold; then Alec will cling to that.
Until it stops being true.
Magnus is beginning to wonder if he’s going to need to find a downworld therapist for his treasure.  Honestly, when he’d first encountered stories and rumors of living hoards, he’d never thought mental health would need to be one of the priorities. Mostly his opinion had been on proper shielding and securing.
Alexander can hardly thrive while diminishing himself and Magnus wants to exalt his gem in all of his splendor.
If Magnus could, he would wrap Alexander in his flame and show him how darkly he stood out amid the brightness of it.  The darkness of his essence drew Magnus to him like light to the void. It was a cooling feeling, one of soft relief during overwhelming inferno.
Magnus felt that if Alexander were there to whisper in his ear or purr against his touch, then surely his temper and rage would be less. And so to would the headaches that came from his temper being kept to embers rather than the wildfire that lustfully wished to devour all.
It was easier, being near him.
Magnus found it easier to laugh, to smile and to be calmed, to even feel fondness which had been rare and fleeting as of late.
Alexander inspires it.
From the tufts of his ears to the tip of his tail, Magnus wants to coddle him. To wrap him in his coils and scales and cover him with Magnus’ own wings. Keep him warm with the coals in Magnus belly, the lava that flowed through his veins and the hot air that fell from his maw.
Magnus wants it with a passion.
Magnus had forgotten what it was to want.
Stagnation.
The most fatal blow against dragons and the most natural and rarest.
Yet Camille had inspired it in him.
A loss of interest.
Slowly the world had dimmed and Magnus felt less and less desire to seek out enjoyment, everything a bitter disappointment in the end.
Until now.
Magnus likes Alexander.
A practical leader and a disciplined soldier both.
Yet also so much more.
Magnus wants to tease out ever hidden bit of personality and character and hoard it away, his alone to see and share.
Not even Alexander is allowed to deny him that.
It belongs to Magnus, as parts of his hoard.
--
also like, there is a reason (context clue) that's missing here that does help alec's thoughts go to thinking magnus just wants him for sex.
alec missed something in the vows and kind of gave control over his orgasms to Magnus. so basically he magically can't come unless magnus gives him permission.
the idea was that it would cause him to hunt magnus down. because obviously he would figure it out.
except alec booked it from the clave because his life was in danger and he'd rather go take his chances with a dragon that liked him because his lifespan is pretty short compared to a dragon. even if magnus gets tired of him fairly quickly, he'll still have better chances and a longer more enjoyable life than with the clave.
so alec finds out about the vow AFTER he's already run to magnus. magnus finds this super delightful and amusing. it means alec finds out while trying to masturbate over magnus in the shower to relax and gets a very amused magnus.
however this does align his thoughts to 'okay he likes me for sex' which for someone with trauma and stuff like that, makes sense.
Magnus is trying to figure out how to fix his Alexander.
That's his Alexander you see.
alec is just really shocked and enjoying the fact that someone noticed him putting up a wall or pulling back emotionally. magnus recognized him detaching from the world and that means something to alec. that's a huge part of his trust in magnus.
camille also basically caused dragon depression.
Alec hits all of his buttons and is the first truly new and inspiring thing magnus has been interested in for decades. also alec doesn't disappoint. he intrigues and inspires and magnus likes that.

warnings: smut (there’s thigh riding in this one 😜), language
you belong with me series masterlist
--------------------------------------------------------
"Oh, fuck," Joe whispered to himself as he opened the photos that you just sent him from your hotel room, the need to see you growing just like the tent in his pants as his hormones started to soar.
You both were away in Kansas City for the weekend ahead of the highly anticipated AFC championship game between the Bengals and the Chiefs on Sunday night. Joe had flown to Kansas City with the team as usual while he chartered a private plane for you that was a few hours behind him and he made sure that he booked you a hotel room specifically at the hotel that the team was staying at. He felt comfort in knowing that you were safe and close to him--you were just 8 floors beneath him--since you came to KC alone since his parents would be flying in early tomorrow morning.
Since you technically weren't allowed to see Joe and didn't want to go out in the City all alone, you found yourself absolutely bored out of your mind, not being able to find any entertainment or way to pass the time all alone. You found yourself like this a few weeks ago as well, the night before the first playoff game of the post-season, and remembered what you did to cure your boredom and entertain yourself and Joe.
Spicy Photos.
He loved them the first time so you knew he'd love them just as much this time. Maybe it could even become a 'night before a game' tradition?
So then, you found yourself half naked--only clad in a skimpy, lacy purple lingerie bra & pantie set--seated in front of the large body mirror and tapping away on your camera as you changed up your poses to show off the parts of your body that Joe was obsessed with (your thighs, your breasts, your ass, the crook of your neck where he liked to mark his territory).
Joe got your photos a few moments ago, and he was losing his mind. Especially because you were so close to him right now, close enough for him to see you. Or was he close enough for you to see him?
"Fuck, Y/N," he whispered again as the growing erection in his purple shorts was becoming more and more visible. He needed to see you so badly, he couldn't control himself. Not when you were this close to him. Last time, he was a whole half hour away so he was mostly okay, but this time...this time it was a different story.
Joe opened his camera and snapped a photo of the tent in his pants, a cheeky grin on his face as he went back to your chat and responded to your photos.
Joe: i miss youuuuu
You: i miss youuuuu too, if you couldn't already tell by the photos ;)
He then attached the photo of the tent in his pants, typed up a silly caption, and sent it to you, wishing he could see your reaction in person.
Joe: image 📸
he misses you too 😋
Your eyes widened as you opened the photo and saw what he had just sent you, the silly caption that he typed with it making you bust out laughing.
"There is no fucking way," you laughed to yourself as you flipped onto your stomach and laughed even harder into the pillow as you imagined Joe taking that photo and typing up that stupidly adorable caption.
"I can't believe he just sent me that photo," you smiled to yourself, still not quite used to this part of your relationship. How could Joe be so sexy and adorably silly at be the same time? You went back to the texts and quickly typed something up to make sure he didn't think you left him hanging, playing along with his silliness.
You: i miss him too 😪
Joe raised an eyebrow at your sudden straightforwardness but was amused that you were playing along with him.
Joe: you and that damn purple lingerie are reallyyyy doing something to me
He scrolled back up to the photos you sent him, tapping on one that showed off your beautiful smile but also gave him a good view of your perfect breasts. "Fuckk," he shakily breathed out while throwing his head back onto the pillow as he placed his hand on the tent in his pants, the pressure that was building becoming too much for him.
Joe was obsessed with your chest. Whether it was laying on it after a tiring workout while you played with his hair or it was him leaving little love bites along your nipple while he was sending you straight to heaven with each thrust, that was his favorite place to be.
He needed to feel your lips on him again, he needed to feel your fingers scratching down his back, and he needed to feel you.
He needed to see you right now.
Joe quickly went back to the chat, this time hitting the Facetime button instead of texting you. You immediately picked up, a grin growing on your face as you saw his adorable flushed cheeks.
"You're needy tonight," you giggled.
"I need to see you," he said while running his fingers through his hair and moving his curls back. "Like really bad. I can't do this,".
"Joe, you know I can't," you said as you sat up on the bed, his eyes falling down as your body came into the frame. You weren't in the lingerie anymore, but you were wearing a slinky tank top which showed off your beautiful breasts.
"Baby, please," he pleaded. "I can't,".
"If I get caught on your floor, it'll be hell for both of us. Probably me more than you since you're the star of the show and they can't really do anything because it'll hurt everything," you said while moving your hair back.
"Nobody will give you hell, you're my girlfriend. Everyone knows that now," he smiled.
"I know, but being your girlfriend doesn't give me a free pass to bend the rules that every NFL team has to follow," you sighed.
You wanted to see him so bad, but you were scared that you'd get caught and didn't even want to think about what the consequences would be. They had NFL players stay at a hotel the night before a game for a reason--home or away--and it was to prevent any and all distractions and to prevent them from partaking in activities that would release the energy they needed for game day. You both were already pushing it when Joe booked you a room in the same hotel he was staying at, the Bengals Travel Coordinators were not super happy about it, but Joe being Joe somehow convinced them to let it slide just this once.
"Do you have the Mascot suit on you by any chance?" he giggled, referring to the first time you joked about sneaking into his room by trying to pass as the mascot.
"Damn, I think I left it in my other suitcase," you pouted, a soft chuckle coming from his mouth in return.
Although he was laughing with you, he was still serious as hell about getting you in his room one way or another.
"Y/N," he said, turning serious again. "Please. I just need to see you for a little. I'll make sure you won't get caught,".
"And how will you do that?" you asked him, part of you wanting to hear him out.
"You can't come up the elevator because we have staff guarding the it up here so that nobody can come up here other than Bengals personnel, but there are stairs that connect every floor and my room is just 3 doors down from the stairs on this floor. I know that they make the rounds around my hall and the hall on the other side so you'll just have to wait for them to turn the other way," he explained.
"Why does this sound easier than I thought? Was this all I had to do to see him?" you thought, contemplating what you should do.
You would be lying if you weren't as turned on as Joe was right now. That photo he sent you made think some things and feel some feelings but you ultimately came to the consensus that you needed him right now.
Your brain was fogging up with thoughts of Joe. Thoughts of his lips pressed against yours, his hands massaging your plush skin, the dirty sounds of pleasure leaving his lips, the mere sight of him on the brink of coming undone. He was the only thing you could think about right now. With the way your heart was pounding in your chest and the way the heat was slowly rising up your body, you were either two seconds away from passing out or two seconds away from saying something that would really set you both off.
"Please," he begged again, a gush of wetness pooling at your core because of his husky voice.
"Fuck it," you whispered, you needed Joe. "I’ll be there in a little bit," you said as you got up and hastily searched for your clothes.
Joe immediately sat up on the bed, a huge satisfied grin on his face as a thrill shot up his spine. "I love you," he smiled.
"I love you too much, that's why I'm doing this," you giggled as you placed your phone down on the dresser and quickly slipped on your flimsy sleep shorts and tank top. "I'll see you in a few, okay?" you said to him once you picked up the phone again.
"Be careful," he said before you gave him a quick nod and hung up, then placed your phone back onto the table so you could slide your Uggs on. You grabbed your room's keycard and took a deep breath before opening the door.
About 10 minutes later, you were slowly climbing up the stairs as you were hot, sweaty, and out of breath. "W-what the fuck," you sighed as you stopped to collect your breath. "I need to go to the gym more," you panted, rolling your eyes when you saw that you were only on floor 7 and still had 4 more to go and you already climbed up 4 flights of stairs.
"Only for Joe," you laughed as you continued up the stairs. You wouldn't be caught dead doing this for another man, but for Joe? Anything. You'd move planets for the person that you've been in love with for 9 years if he asked you to, and you had the comfort of knowing that he would do the exact same for you.
Another 10 minutes later, you finally made it to the 11th floor.
"Holy fuck," you said while wiping the thin layer of sweat off your forehead, quickly crouching down once you saw one of the Bengals staff members through the little window in the door. "Fuck," you whispered as you peeked your head up to see if they saw you or not, which they didn't.
"Any minute now," you whispered, waiting for them to turn around and go down the other hallway.
You watched carefully for about two minutes, getting impatient as they took their sweet time before you saw them turn around and start walking down to the other hallway.
"Finally," you whispered to yourself as you stood up and quietly twisted the door handle, carefully stepping out into the hallway before gently shutting the door behind you.
You slowly walked down the hallway, counting 3 doors down from the stairs but realizing Joe never told you which door 3 doors down was his room.
You reached for your phone to text him but were met with an empty pocket. A frustrated sigh leaves your lips when you realize you left your phone on the table.
"Ugh. Left or Right?" you whispered to yourself as you looked back and forth between the doors. "This is like a game of roulette," you soughed. You eventually chose the left door, accepting that if you were wrong you would quickly leave the floor with your tail between your legs and go back down 8 flights of stairs to your room.
"Okay," you breathed out before making your hand into a fist and knocking on the door, in an uber-specific pattern.
Two quick knocks, "Knock-Knock", matching the start of the chorus with a steady beat.
Pause for 1 second.
One slow Knock "Knock", reflects the continuation of the melody.
Pause for 1 second.
Two quick knocks, "Knock-knock", follows the rhythm as the chorus progresses.
Pause for 1 second.
Two quick knocks, "Knock-Knock", ends the pattern in sync with the final beats of the chorus.
It aligned with the Chorus of the song "Night Changes" by One Direction, a song you and Joe were obsessed with back at OSU. A song you made a special knocking sequence to for times you showed up at each other's rooms unannounced for whatever reason. You made this special sequence up because there were times you didn't want to see other or hang out with other people, but you always wanted to see each other no matter the circumstance. This knocking sequence always let you both know who was at the door.
"Hm, that's ironic," you giggled as you remembered the Chorus of the song.
"We're only getting older baby and I been thinking about it lately, Does it ever drive you crazy just how fast the night changes, Everything that you've ever dreamed of, Disappearing when you wake up, But there's nothing to be afraid of even when the night changes, It will never change me and you,".
It did drive you crazy just how fast the night changed for you and Joe. Everything around you changed in the past 9 years--your ages, your careers, your lifestyles, your relationships--but the one thing that never changed was you and Joe.
And that was the one thing that was never going to change.
While you were lost in thought, you felt the door open as a whiff of air hit your face, your precious 6’4 boyfriend standing right in front of you.
"Oh thank god," you said, letting out a relieved sigh before you felt Joe grab your hand and yank you into the room, quickly closing the door before he leaned down and smashed his lips against yours. You were a bit taken aback by the intensity of the kiss, but it only took you 5 seconds to melt in Joe’s arms and lose your cool. His hands were firmly placed on your waist, the pads of his fingers massaging the soft skin of your hips, as he backed you both up to the couch across the room.
He felt the back of his knees hit the couch before he pulled away from the kiss and plopped down, spreading his legs extremely wide as he patted his lap for you to sit down. "Come here," he smirked, you gave him a quick nod before placing a knee on either side of his thighs and sitting down in his comfortable lap, the hardness underneath you making your hormones take over.
You cupped his face with your hands and pulled his face closer to yours, capturing his perfectly pink lips in another kiss. His hands landed on your waistline again, "Mm, I haven't heard that knock in years," he said in between the kiss.
"I had to let you know it was me," you whispered as you slid your lips to the corner of his mouth, peppering wet kisses up his jaw as his hands slid underneath the flimsy fabric of your tank top.
"I missed you," he rasped as you felt his other hand land on the back of your head, pulling you right back to his lips.
His hand then moved to the straps of your tank top, slowly pulling one down as he pulled away and moved his lips to your collarbone.
"Joe," you quietly moaned as you tilted your head to the side, exposing more of your neck for him to worship. You felt him attach his lips to his favorite spot on your neck, rhythmically sucking and biting the skin as he marked his territory--a special reminder to those who didn't know who you belonged to.
"Baby," you breathed out, grabbing his head by his hair and pulling him back up to your lips, your noses bumping into each other as your tongues tangled in each other's mouths. It was driving you insane, the more his hands moved around your body the more desperate to feel him everywhere you got. You wanted him to rip your clothes off and have you right then and there, but you were playing a risky game. If anyone walked past his door, they would 100% hear you two going at it.
His hands dropped down to your ass, kneading the flesh with his large veiny hands as he began to rock you back and forth in his lap. You instantly pulled away, taking note of how his big blue eyes were screaming 'fuck me' at you right now.
"Joe, we can't," you breathlessly said, his movements not stopping at your hesitance.
You feel him grab your waist again, scooching you over so that you are now straddling one of his thick, muscular thighs and not his lap. "Yes, we can," he whispered in your ear, heat pooling in your stomach as you feel his large thigh against your aching clit.
Joe continues to slowly rock you back and forth against his thigh, a tingling sensation all over your body as your clothed clit rubbed against his thigh; the flimsy fabric of your shorts practically had you bare against his leg. You leaned your head back as you let out a moan that was a little louder than you both preferred.
"Fuck," you whined at the stimulation his thigh was giving you. Joe lifted one of his hands to cover your mouth, "Shh, baby. Another one of those and this will be over a lot faster than we want, and it won't have a nice ending either," he warned as you looked back down at him.
You gave him a nod as you continued to move back and forth against his thigh, his purple shorts riding further and further up his leg because of your movements. The wetness from your core was seeping out of your underwear, and your rocking hips were spreading it along his thigh.
God, you loved his thighs. They were so thick and muscular and the perfect seat. Whenever you saw photos of Joe doing his typical man-spread, you lost it. The thighs were always the highlight of the show, not his face, not his arms, his thighs.
"That's it, baby," he said while guiding you back and forth, somehow enjoying this even more than you were even though he was receiving no stimulation from this.
"Joe," you whimpered, his big hand muffling your moan, feeling him bounce his leg underneath you which made your moans come out in short gasps. "J- Joe," you moaned again, your belly fluttering at the new movement.
You lifted your hand and moved his hand off your mouth, then leaned in and captured his lips in another kiss to hopefully stifle your moans.
Joe was taking part in a mental battle right now, trying to fight off the urge to take you to the bed in front of him and fuck you into oblivion. He needed to feel you more than he already was, but if he did you both would get caught very quickly.
Suddenly, an idea popped into his head that could solve your problems--the shower.
Nobody would be able to hear you both in the bathroom, especially with the running water.
He decided to hold off on that for a few minutes, allowing you to continue to do what you needed to feel your rapidly building high. He pulled away from the kiss again, lifting your head with his hand, "Look at me, Y/N," he whispered. His thumb stroked your bottom lip as he looked intensely into your glossy eyes, "Keep going," he encouraged, your movements getting faster against his thigh.
"Joe, I'm so close," you quietly whimpered, your clit pressed firmly against his thigh as the band in your belly tightened. You ran your hands up his arms, then gripped his shoulders as you continued to ride his thigh, your body starting to tremble on top of him as his cock grew harder at the feeling of wetness spreading along his leg.
"That's it, that's my fucking girl...you're so fucking sexy riding me like this," he whispered in your ear, his hands wandering along your body again as he pressed a kiss to your ear before lightly biting your earlobe. “Come for me, come on my thigh,” he whispered.
"Joe," you moaned loudly, dropping your head to the crook of his neck as you picked up the pace, your pleasure just a few seconds away. There was truly no place you'd rather be right now than the comfortable embrace of Joe's arms. This was your home. He was your home.
You bit down on the tan skin of his neck to stifle your moan, knowing that this one would be particularly loud as you let yourself go. "Mmph, Joe," you moaned as you felt the band in your tummy snap, your core gushing with wetness as most of it seeped out onto his leg.
"Fuck, Y/N," Joe breathed out, feeling a cool moisture pooling on his thigh as you quivered above him. "Baby, I need you," he whispered in your ear, your face coming back up from the crook of his neck.
"Joe, I- I told you, we c- can't," you choked out, aftershocks of your high washing over you.
"We can in there," he said as he motioned to the bathroom with his head.
All the hesitance and apprehension left your head about 4 minutes ago, so you honestly could not care less about what would unfold once you got in the bathroom. You didn't care if you got caught, as risky as that sounded. "Okay," you nodded, Joe immediately got up from the couch with you in his lap, his hands firmly placed on your ass as you wrapped your legs around him. You rested your cheek against his chest, whispering "I love you" to him in which he pressed a loving kiss to your forehead in return.
A few minutes later, you were in the bathroom, completely bare as the hot water of the shower was falling around you. You were pressed up against the cool glass of the shower door as Joe was spending some more time around your neck, especially at his favorite spot.
Your fingers played with his wet curls as you used them to pull his face back up to yours so that you could kiss him again. "We have to be quick," you mumbled in between the kiss. "I have to get out of here before lights out,".
"Okay," Joe nodded, his hands reaching down to cup your ass, hoisting you up as you wrapped your legs around his thick body. "Fuck, I needed this," he sighed as he looked deeply into your eyes again. "I needed you,".
"Well, it's a good thing I'm here then," you smirked before pulling him back for another kiss, this one way messier and needier than the others.
After another minute of attacking each other's swollen lips, Joe lined his rock-hard cock with your already-soaked core, thrusting all the way inside as you let out a loud moan and threw your head back against the glass.
"Ah, Joe," you hissed, the feeling of him filling you up all the way still new even though you'd done this quite a few times since December.
"Fuck, Y/N," Joe groaned as he felt your walls wrap around his thick shaft, his hips snapping into yours after a few seconds of getting comfortable.
"Oh my god," you cried out after you felt his cock grazing your g-spot, your eyes rolling to the back of your head.
"Yeah? You like that?" Joe panted in your ear after giving you another hard thrust which made him hit the spot.
"Yeah," you whimpered, his cock continuing to slam into your cervix, making you re-think your entire existence. The way he was going about this was driven by pure lust, love, and need. This was exactly what he needed right now, and you were giving it to him with open arms; and open legs.
You were the most addictive thing on this earth, he could never stay away from you and if he tried, he'd have withdrawals. For example, if you didn't sneak into his room, he would've had all this pent-up energy inside of him that would most likely turn into anxiety for tomorrow's game. But it wasn't, thanks to you.
For most, this would be a distraction. But for Joe, this was the best way to relax. The perfect way to collect himself, he just needed to be with you. You always made him lose his worries, lose his nerves, and make him calm down. You were exactly what he needed.
And you almost said 'No' to coming up to his room, pathetic.
A few minutes later, Joe leaned back a little and leaned down, sucking your nipple into his mouth as he rhythmically rolled his hips into yours, making sure that he touched every spot on your body that he loved.
"Don't stop, Joe. Don't ever stop," you cried out, feeling your second high building in your stomach as he continued to pound into you. You ran your nails along his back, lightly digging into the skin while Joe hissed around your breast at the burning sensation he was feeling.
After a few moments of showing your perfect breasts some love, he moved back up to your face, "Y/N, you feel so good," he moaned.
The sights and sounds of his flushed cheeks, tousled & wet curls, and open-mouthed moans drove you insane.
You felt your legs starting to burn from the rough thrusts of his cock, also because of what transpired on the couch earlier. "Babe, I'm close," you panted as you gripped his broad shoulders.
"Hang on for me," he softly whined, picking up the pace of his deep thrusts which sent you straight over the edge, your walls tightening around his veiny cock.
"Oh my fucking-," you moaned before you felt the tip of his cock hit a spot he hadn't hit before, causing your orgasm to rip through your body like a strike of lightning. "Joe!" you screamed as you grabbed his wet curls and tightly pulled on them.
"Y/N," Joe panted as he dropped his head to the crook of your neck, your walls convulsing around his twitching cock. "Fuck, I'm," he choked out, his orgasm begging to be released.
"I know, I know," you soothed as you rubbed his back while coming down from your high. "I'm here," you said while kissing his reddened cheek. "I'm right here,"
A few more thrusts later, you felt him let go as your walls were coated with warm spurts of his cum, Joe continuing to whimper and moan into your ear as he felt his high come over him. "F- Fuck, you're incredible,".
"I love you," he panted, trying to catch his breath as he gently let go of your legs and set you back on the ground, your knees buckling as you fell right into him. "Woah, I got you," he smiled as he wrapped his arms around you.
"I love you," you giggled as you clung onto him, the hot water falling on both of you making you feel even more refreshed than your previous orgasms.
About 10 minutes later, you both dried each other off and made it out of the shower. You slipped your clothes back on before brushing your wet hair in the mirror while Joe changed into a fresh pair of shorts behind you, your eyes widening at the red scratches on his back.
"Oh, shit," you gasped as you flipped around to look at his back. "I'm sorry,".
"No need to say sorry, princess," he smiled. "I like it when you leave a mark," he winked.
"But the guys are probably going to give you shit for it," you frowned. "They'll see that those are fresh and figure it out,".
"If the guys find out, they'll be too busy bitchin' about how it's not fair for them to not be able to see their girls before a game to care that you broke about a dozen league rules," he laughed. "Besides," he added as he placed his hands on your waist and flipped you around so that you were facing the mirror again. "I left plenty of marks on you," he said while resting his chin on your shoulder and moving your wet hair to the back to show off your neck, a prominent purple love bite on your neck with a few small, faint ones scattered around it.
"Good thing I brought extra concealer," you giggled as you felt Joe pepper kisses along your neck.
"Mhmm," he hummed as he looked back up and met your tired eyes in the mirror. "I still can't believe you actually snuck up here. We should do this more often next season,".
"Woahhh, slow down, Burrow. I had to climb 8 flights of stairs to get up here. My legs are about to snap in half and I have 8 more flights to go down to go back to my room. This is def a once in a once-in-a-blue-moon deal," you nodded. "Stairs are not my thing,".
"Fine," he sighed, earning a pleased smile from you. "I'll be looking forward to the next time we get to repeat this little rendezvous, though,".
"I know you will," you winked before looking up at the clock, seeing that it was almost time for you to make your sneaky exit. "I should get going," you said as you flipped around in his hold.
"Okay," he nodded, tucking your wet hair behind your ear.
"I'll see you at the game tomorrow, okay?" you nodded.
"Yeah," Joe nodded again while giving you a soft look with his eyes.
"I want you to know that no matter what happens tomorrow night, I'm so proud of you, Joe. You've truly had one of the best years since you've been in the league and regardless of what goes down tomorrow, you did your best and went above and beyond. I love you so much and I'm so happy and proud of you," you smiled while you cupped his cheek and pulled his face down to press a kiss to the crown of his forehead.
"Thank you, Y/N. That really means a lot," he said while letting out a deep breath. "I love you. Thank you for being here," he said while leaning in for a sweet, purely innocent kiss.
"I'm always here," you said against his swollen lips after you pulled away.
After a few more minutes of saying goodbye to each other, you took a peek outside the hallway to see if the coast was clear; which it was.
You stepped outside into the hall, slowly and quietly inching towards the door to the stairs before you heard a familiar voice call your name behind you. "Y/N?" the deep voice spoke up.
"Fuck. Ja'marr," you whispered to yourself, instantly recognizing the voice and turning around.
"Y/N? What the hell are you doing up here?" he loudly said as he walked closer to you.
"I....uh....," you mumbled, not being able to come up with an excuse for why you were on this floor.
"Wait a second," he said as he looked at your wet hair, the purple spots on your neck which you clearly couldn't cover since your makeup was in your room, and your blissed-out facial expression and glow.
"Ain't no fuckin' way," he said, bursting out laughing as he realized he just caught you in a walk of shame. "No fucking wayyyy,".
"It's not what you think," you nervously shook your head.
While you were attempting to come up with an excuse, Joe opened his door because he heard a ruckus outside and decided to see what was going on, but he froze at the doorstep once he saw both you and Ja'marr look back at him.
"Oh my god," he said while laughing harder once he saw Joe's wet hair matching your wet hair. "You two seriously...right now...at the team hotel...oh my GOD," he said, his entire body shaking at how hard he was laughing.
"Ja'marr please don't tell anyone," you begged as you looked over at Joe.
"Joe, you do realize she probably just broke about a dozen rules by doing this, right?" Ja'marr asked while looking back at him.
"It was actually my idea," Joe said while scratching his neck, his cheeks turning red out of embarrassment.
"Man, why you so fuckin' horny lately?" Ja'marr shook his head, a laugh coming from your lips as you saw Joe's cheeks turn even more red. "I get you have a hot girlfriend and you're making up for 9 years worth of sex, blah, blah--not to be weird--but damn Joe, keep that shit in your pants till you get home," he lectured.
"Yeah, Joe. Keep it in your pants," you teased as you gave him a wink.
"Y/N, please. Spare me," Joe playfully rolled his eyes. "Maybe save the lingerie pics for when we get back home then,".
Your jaw fell open at his lack of filter considering you were with Ja'marr right now.
"Okayyy, I don't need to be a part of this conversation," he laughed. "Yall can have your lovers quarrel later. We have 5 minutes before lights out and the staff comes to check the rooms, Joe. So Y/N needs to get outta here or you're both fucked,".
"Well, I was just leaving until you stopped me," you huffed.
"Well, your secret is safe with me...for now," he grinned. "Yall owe me, remember that," he said while pointing at you two.
"You got it," you laughed as you gave him a salute. "I'm gonna go now," you said while looking back at Joe, a small smile on his lips as if he was enjoying this situation.
"Bye, Y/N," Ja'marr waved like a little kid.
"Bye, Ja'marr," you laughed before looking back at Joe.
"Bye, J. I love you and remember what I said earlier," you said while shooting him a loving smile.
"I love you too, and I will, " he smiled while giving you a small wave.
"Man, are yall still talking dirty right now? For real? 'Remember what I said earlier?' No. Joe don't need to remember whatever the fuck you whispered in his ear while going at it," Ja'marr said with a disgusted look on his face.
"That's not what I-...you know what? Never mind," you said while throwing your hands up and turning around to open the door to the staircase, a smile tugging at your lips as you heard Ja'marr and Joe laugh behind you while you closed the door behind you and slowly made your way down the stairs.
"Man, yall are really something," Ja'marr said when he walked back over to Joe's doorstep.
"What do you expect me to do," Joe shrugged. "I've been after her for 9 years. Let me have my fun with my girlfriend,".
"Have fun, but don't have too much fun," Ja'marr laughed as he patted Joe's shoulder and walked back to his room.
"That's considered too much fun? Please," Joe whispered to himself while turning around and going back into his room. "We're just getting started," he said with a content grin on his face.

“hey momma.” you say with a smile as you answer the phone, clicking it to speaker so you continue to work.
“hi baby girl!” your moms voice rings out through the speaker. “did you figure out what time you're leaving?”
“looks like tomorrow at 10 am, then we should be to yours by dinner.” you hum, glancing at the clock while continuing to pack up. “oh, change of plans by the way. rafe is coming with me.”
“oh yay!” your mom squeals. she only met rafe once when she came to visit you in the outer banks at your new house, but it was so early on in your relationship that she didn't really get to know him well, and things are a lot more serious now. “i can't wait to have my babies home for christmas.”
“does that mean andrew will be able to make it?” you ask, inquiring about your brother.
“they'll be here, but leaving the day after christmas for his wife's family.”
“okay, that sounds good. itll be nice to have the four of us back together, plus rafe and diana.” you hum. ever since your brother went away for college when he turned 18, and you left two short years after to move to the outer banks, it was hard to get the whole family together, even for the holidays. you spent the last two christmases in the outer banks, one spent alone in your new house, the other with the camerons.
you were shocked by how different their christmas was than what you were used to. it was cold and devoid of any traditions besides what was seemingly forced on the kids of the family. you ultimately had a good time with rafe, but you missed the familiarity and fun that you had with your family.
rafe was originally going to stay in the outer banks, not wanting to intrude on your family, but you finally convinced him last night that everyone would be happy to have him.
“okay so tell me about what i can get for rafe.” your mom says, and you just know she's bent over the counter with a notepad and pen in hand, not wanting rafe to be left out of opening presents.
--
“ready to go rafey?” you ask, looking at the back of the car, trunk filled with your suitcases, while the back seat has already wrapped presents, both for your family and ones for rafe, as well as his for you.
“i am. last chance to say if you forgot something.”
“nope.” you shake your head, “ive gone over my checklist three different times.”
“alright, off to your parents then.” rafe says, leaning over and pressing a kiss to your lips before taking off down the road.
--
“can we stop? i gotta pee.” you say, looking at the sign for an upcoming rest stop.
“again?” rafe sighs, but there's a small smile gracing his features as he turns the indicator on, pulling off to the road stop.
you hop out of the car, but rafe follows right behind you, not letting you go in by yourself, always extra cautious when you're out in public, especially away from the outer banks.
“gonna get us snacks.” rafe says, keeping his eye on you as you head into the bathroom, only turning to the vending machines when you disappear behind the tile wall.
--
“hey baby.” rafe says softly, stroking over your thigh to wake you up. “we're almost there.”
you stretch with a yawn, rubbing at your tired eyes. you blink them open, realizing the roads are now familiar, about to pull off the highway at your home town exit.
“thanks for driving, rafey.” you say, leaning over the center console to give him a kiss on the cheek. you clean up the car a bit while he finishes the drive, gathering up the wrappers of the chips and snacks and shoving them into a bag to throw away later.
“im so excited.” you say as rafe turns down your road, and your parents house comes into view.
“i can’t wait to get to know them.” rafe says, pulling into the driveway. you can’t help the squeal you let out in excitement as you rush out as soon as the car is in park, briefly turning your head to make sure rafe is following you as you step onto the porch, not bothering to know before flinging open the door, knowing that your parents are no doubt waiting right inside for you.
“mom! dad!” you shout, jumping into their arms as they swallow you into a comforting hug. you press a kiss to both of their cheeks before turning to rafe.
“i brought these for you.” rafe sticks forward his hand, in it a bouquet of flowers, presenting them to your mother.
“oh, rafe, darling you shouldn’t have.” your mom coos, pulling rafe into a hug before rushing into the kitchen to place the flowers into a vase. rafe gives your dad a firm handshake before offering to help carry in your bags.
you smile and look out the door as they chat casually, happy that rafe seems to be fitting in instantly.
--
“its just so different.” rafe says softly, stroking his hand absentmindedly over your back as you’re curled up next to him on the couch.
“what do you mean?” you hum, pressing your lips against his shoulder, even though you can guess what he’s talking about.
“your family is just so… easy going. and you all get along so well.” rafe says, looking around the living room at your parents sharing a couch, and your brother and his wife sitting in matching armchairs, all chatting happily amongst themselves.
“im lucky to have such an amazing family.” you say, looking to rafe. “and that you’re a part of it.” “i dont want to intrude though, baby. so if you have any traditions you want to be just amongst your-” “shh.” you cut rafe off, a smile on your face. “we all want you here. my mom was so excited when i told her you were coming. you love me right?” you ask, which rafe of course nods. “and we are planning to be together forever right? so of course my family is going to want you around, to include you in our traditions.” “sorry, dears, i couldn't help but overhear.” your mom says with a slightly blush to her cheeks. “forgive me for eavesdropping, but i actually have a gift for you rafe.”
rafe begins to say that he doesn’t need any gifts, but your mom cuts him off with a quick stern look, one he’s seen in you many times.
your mom returns to the room with a small wrapped box in her hands.
“thank you.” rafe says sincerely, setting the box on his lap. you smile, already knowing what is inside, seeing it before when andrew first brought diana to christmas celebrations.
rafe opens the box carefully, attempting not to rip the paper and make a mess, aware of the eyes on him.
“a christmas stocking.” rafe says with a smile as he pulls it out. you wait for him to notice, and you can tell from his body language the second his eyes read over his own name, hand stitched by your mother, signifying rafes place in the family. he tenses for a second before melting completely, body slumping against yours.
you wrap your arms around rafe, knowing this is an emotional moment for him, his moment where he realizes how loved and accepted he is.
“we are so happy you’re a part of our family, rafe.” your mom says, accepting his hug when he stands to embrace her and thank her for the gift, looking to the mantelpiece with all of the family stockings hanging, where his will soon join.
your dad strikes up a conversation with andrew, and you know its to take some of the pressure and attention off rafe as he ducks his head into your neck, pressing soft kisses to the skin there.
“i told you you wouldn’t be intruding.” you whisper, running your fingers through his hair.
“yeah, yeah.” rafe says sarcastically. “you’re right.” you give him a look, before he concedes with a nod. “as always.”

Mark I think the time has come. I think you need to catch Peter in a big box before he can leave you or get himself killed on the job. He's probably not thinking straight rn because he's been away and he doesn't take care of himself well, and that + the whole UTI situation could end badly. But if you catch him you can take him home and take care of him until he develops Stockholm syndrome realizes he never wants to leave you 🩷 Good luck Mark! We're all rooting for you.
Oh Thank you so much ❤️, i really want to do all that. . I agree i think i need a week with him and he might not be so happy at first but i think i could tame him 🤣 cause hes a wild animal 🤣 he knows im good for him thats why he keep s coming back again and again .
What if i submited vacation time.for him and suprised him with it ? I would drive him to my place (if we planned to do that first so he would not think it would last a week) . Then i would do everything i could to get him to stay
I would be so good at taking care of him he wouldnt even.notice the days going by. He can watch his baseball and i'll have it recorded and then i can put the tape in again and he will think he hasnt seen the game yet and he 'll stay and watch it while i massage his shoulders . And i'll do it for 7 days . I'll make different food every day because i dont want to just serve him reheated leftovers every day
When he wants to mess around with me , i'll get even sexier i will buy more toys and clothes for me to wear he wont want to leave me alone
If he lets me shower with him i can wash his hair and body for him because it s sexy
We wont even feel time passing i will keep the shades on the windows shut tight and hide my clocks and my hunk of the month calendar
It will be just us , alone together, for a week
And when it is done , i will wake him up and say "what a night . Are you working tomorrow? We barely get to see each other. Last night wasnt long enough." So he'll think he was dreaming .
When he goes to work he will be confused but he wont be able to stop thi nking of me so he visits me in my office and tells me he wants to come over again .
Then he will tell me he likes my outfit and i will thank him and wink when before he leaves my office.
I will wear something very nice when he comes over . A better suit than the one i wore to work
He'll be confused but he will begin to imagine our future wedding
And then he will rip it off of me with his teeth

first day jitters 🧺🤍📆
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
personal assistant reader x boss schlatt
He hires you originally because he needed help with scheduling and couldn't do it for the life of him by himself
ted suggested he get someone to help him with all his shit cause it was becoming way to much for him
and of course schlatt wouldnt find someone himself, so ted gave him the mnumbver of a close frind he went to college with
the first day you meet at schlatts apartment, you arrive in a casual, yet neat outfit, with your hair slicked back and a coffee ted told you he would like
the moment he opens the door his heart rate speeds up
it was already very high
the first thing you do is send him off to go get some sort of relaxation treatment, cause even from a mile away you could tell this man is STRESSED
like you could see his tensed muscles through his hoodie
when he comes back to his house, it's significantly nicer than when he left, like insanely organized and clean, he also finds his favorite baked goods just sitting on the table?!?
like wtf
he finds you in his office with a standing white board that wasn't there before, listing everything he needs to get done, color coded, from most important and least important, and finally what he should do for himself rather than work
“What the hell is all this” he asks calmly but still confused
“well while you got your massage, i handled your calendar, cleaned your kitchen, living room and office, do not worry im not a creep, i didn't touch your room or bathroom. I also made you cinnamon buns cause teddymtold me you liked them!” you smile joyfully at him
after that, trust you are employed full time as schlatts assistant
after you left on the first night schlatt stalked you online to see if there was anything wrong with you
he kinda wanted to find something bad because then that meant you weren't just a angel sent from heaven
but to his dismay there was nothing there
you were a bit famous on social media for just being cool and funny, but other then that he couldn't find anything
the next day you knocked at his door at 10am SHARP
he was very busy today and it was your duty to make sure everything got done
you led him through the whole day and when i say everything got done hours before they were even supposed to.
you guys planned video ideas, after he had a gamer supps meeting and by the time it was over you had gotten his car cleaned, restocked his fridge, aswell as ten other important tasks he has been trying to get done for months
he is exhausted by the end of the day because we all know this man eats nothing of nutritional value, so while he records with ted and tucker you make him a nice steak dinner
filet, mashed potatoes, and asparagus, the works if you will
the moment big guy walks out of his office and smells the food, hes floating towards it like a cartoon character to pie on a windowsill
as he begins to eat you swear you hear him moan, but you leave that one alone
he finishes eating and you begin to clean up but he stops you
“No, hey you've done way too much today, i can get the dishes” he pleads, which causes you to laugh.
“Jay, it's quite literally my job to do it, please don't worry, just do me a favor and make a list of what you want me to get done tomorrow?” you smile but this only makes him frown.
“Absolutely not, you are out of here today, and tomorrow the days about you, im taking you shopping in return for all this.” your smile falters
“are you kidding, dont do that im sure you have stuff you need to do tomorrow.” he quickly skims his phone and looks up at you
“toots, in one day alone you've cleared my calendar for the next month, tomorrow is about you.”
you begin to love your job after that

Movie
I like to think of the ways Dew and Aether kept up with each other while Dew was away with everyone else on tour.
This one's for @iamthecomet, those SwissDewther thoughts never left, they just turned into this. Im so sorry... I dont know where the angst came from.
Under the cut cuz it got long again.
Also, I swear Dew and Aether love Swiss to hell and back, he's just a proxy for this night (he'll get his turn some other time)
Sister was going to kill him. It was bad enough that he was replaced, fired with no real rhyme or reason, but the desk work he was being saddled with? It was maddening, and some days it feels like he'd rather be sent back to the pit.
Today was one of those days.
Sister had berated him for something, misfiling a form or messing up her damn coffee, since he apparently doubled as her secretary too. Whatever it was, it was dumb. Plain stupid. But apparently bad enough to have her turn beet red as she screamed her head off. Worst of all, he had a whole days worth of work to get through still. By the time he got back to his room, he was fed up and ready for the day to be over.
He got in the shower, intent on washing the day off of him with the hottest water the tap could spit out. He turns the handle as far as it'll go and hisses as he steps in.
Aether used to hate the burn, it made him feel like he was being boiled alive, but he figured out two weeks into the tour that if he held himself under the steady stream just right, it felt like Dew's touch. Regardless of their promises to not let the distance change anything, regardless of their late night calls and constant texts, it wasn't enough-- he was still going to fall asleep in their bed alone and Dew's scent was still going to fade from the sheets. If he had to burn himself to feel his mate, then so be it.
He stays until the water runs cold and gets himself into bed soon after. He shuts his eyes tight, getting ready to do the same things he''s done for the past two weeks-- remember the last night he had Dew next to him. He swears that if he thinks hard enough, he'll feel Dew's back pressed against his chest again.
He's just about to fall asleep when his phone vibrates on the bedside table, a text from Swiss. It's short and it makes his chest ache all over again.
We miss you
It's followed by a bright red heart. Before he can respond, those three dots pop up, so he waits for whatever else Swiss is typing out for him. Only this time, it's not a text, it's a video. He thinks that it's just a few clips of whatever city they're in for the night, shots of the venue and all the touristy stuff they did before they had to get ready. He's content to just watch it later, tomorrow when the weight of the day has lifted off of him, but something in him tells him to open it.
He's really glad he listened. The video starts and has him throbbing almost instantly.
"Say hi Dewy," Swiss' voice is gruff, heavy from strain. He's standing in front of the camera, holding Dew up with a tight grip under his knees, spreading his legs so Aether has a perfect view of how Swiss fits in his cunt so nicely.
"I said say hi." His hips snap up hard, burying himself further into Dew who yelps and picks his head up from where he had it resting on Swiss' shoulder.
"H-- hi Aeth" He whimpers as Swiss moves like everything is normal, like he doesn't have his phone set up in front of him and Dew, filming each measured thrust of his hips. With the phone so close, Aether gets to hear each wet and slick slide of Dew's cunt in perfect detail.
Aether lets a hand slip into his boxers, rubbing his palm over his cock, pressing it down against the curve of his belly. He feels himself throb with each and every filthy noise that falls from Dew's lips. His finger mindlessly presses on the volume button, cranking it up till Dew's voice fills the room just like it used to.
"Fuck Dew," He cant help but moan his mates name when he finally wraps his hand around his shaft. He holds himself tight, trying to convince himself he's wrapped up in Dew.
"Tell him how it feels love" Besides his grunts, Swiss has been silent so far. Selfishly, Aether is glad. He wants to hear Dew's pretty gasps, and if Swiss has to be the one to draw them out for now, then so be it.
"He's in deep Aeth," Aether matches his strokes with Swiss' thrusts, bottoming out when he does, squeezing the ruddy head when Swiss pulls out far enough to just leave the tip in. He lets his eyes drift from the slick dripping down Swiss dick to look at Dew's chubby little cock. With his legs spread, Aether sees it perfectly, poking out from his lips, pink and puffy. Probably from Swiss' devilish mouth.
"Wish..." Dew cant get a breath in, not with the relentless pace Swiss has set. "Wish it was you Aeth, wanna feel your cock in me, stretch my pussy around you."
Aether can only groan, hips bucking up, fucking into his tight grip. His slowly growing knot bumps against his fist with every thrust.
"Touch your cock Dew, let him see how much you missed him" A quick hand dips between his legs, gliding over his cunt to lube it up in his mess before spreading it over the fat nub. He whines, high and feminine, and if there were any witnesses, they'd say Aether sounds the same. He's a moaning mess, writhing with his shirt tucked over his tits, letting his nipples harden with the chilly air of the room.
"You'd fill me so fucking good Aeth, press in so deep that I see you through my tummy" All those late nights come back to the front of Aether's mind, the nights with Dew bent in half, leaving him no option but to take each heavy thrust, or other nights with Dew on top, arching his back so they can both see how far Aether is buried in him.
"Get me stuck on that fat knot of yours” Aether answers back, a slurred string of yeah's, nodding his head like Dew can see him. He doesn't know how loud he is and he doesn't care.
"I'd fuck my cum in, fill you with kits," He polishes the ruddy head of his cock, bringing himself dangerously close to the edge.
"He's so tight around me Aether, feels so fucking good" Swiss' knot is obvious now, almost full, and pressing against Dew's hole, threatening to pop in with each thrust.
Dew wants it, so bad, to be broken open on something so wide, made to feel like it's almost too big. He wants Aether to split him open, but it's Swiss he’s got. It’s Swiss buried deep in him. He tries not to think of that.
"--m close Aeth, let me cum. Please let me cum," Aether loves the way he begs, always so good for him, even half a world away.
"Yeah baby, come on, make a mess for me," He watches Dew go rigid, breath stilling as his pleasure crests over. Swiss keeps his pace, letting the air fill with the sound of skin against skin until that familiar rush of liquid rings through his phone. Aether watches Swiss work him through it, watches him squirt around his dick. He watches Dew's euphoria quickly turn into overstimulation, it’s good, it’s what he’d do too. Dew’s dick twitches in time with his heartbeat.
Between that and Dew begging Swiss to slow down, its all Aether needs before he's painting himself with pearly white stripes of cum. He works himself through it, stroking slowly before dropping the phone so he can get both hands around his knot. He milks himself until his cock has nothing left to give but a weak dribble.
He sings his praises, tells Dew he's been a good boy, that he takes him so well every time, that he loves him-- he lets the empty air be his Dewdrop for the night.
He lays there with his eyes shut and his hands around his deflating knot, holding on to the last moments of the high, until his phone buzzes again. Another text from Swiss, this time a photo.
It's Dew, curled up under the covers, tucked in tight with a hint of a smile on his face. It's followed by a text again.
We love you.
He loves you.

You’re the only good thing in my life pt 2
Tumblr media
-genre/warnings: arranged marriage, mentions of cheating in the past, angst, smut, hurt/comfort, fighting
A/n very sorry for the long wait, I had written my part 2 but decided I didn’t like it and rewrote it…. This is still not finished btw, there will be one last part I also just realized i never titled this :o
Once namjoons mother had found out that namjoon had been unfaithful to minseo she was furious. She knew how much minseo cared for her son. She couldn’t believe he’d do something like that to her.
But of course namjoon was her son. she was disappointed but at the end of the day she understood that people make mistakes.
After work he decided to go down to seokjins house to talk. he decided to give up his land. It has already caused enough trouble in his life. He didn’t want it anymore.
Upon arriving he lets himself in, immediately stopping in his tracks seeing his brother, seokjin sitting with his wife, minseo.
“Minseo, what are you doing here?”
Minseo stood as she ignored his question
“Well then, I should be heading home now”
Pushing past namjoon out the front door as he followed her
“Minseo wait!” He say’s grabbing her arm
“Let go of me, please” she couldnt even look at him, not because she didn’t want to but because it hurt too much
“I asked you a question. what are you doing at my brothers house?”
“Does it matter?” She tried tugging her arm out of his hold
He responded holding her tighter
“Yes it does. You have no business being here, especially alone with him.” What was he insinuating?
“I wanted to know who she was” she finally looked him in the eyes
“Who?”
“Your lover” tears started to brim her eyes
“Minseo, he has no business in our marriage. If you wanted to know the truth of what happened you could’ve ask me”
“I couldn’t. You know why? Because it hurts much more coming from you. I do not wish to know all the details”
It was silent for a moment before namjoon spoke “when that night happened, we were nearly a month married, we were Still not fully familiar with eachother. It was before I had realized how much you meant to me, before I knew that I loved you. I could not tell you who it was because I truly do not know. I try hard to forget that regretful night. Ever since the night we confessed our love for each other I’ve been thinking of no one else except you. Please minseo, im sorry.”
Tears ran down her face as she struggled to speak “it doesn’t matter. You were still my husband. I’ve been nothing but faithful to you since I found out about this whole situation” she nearly ran when he loosened his grip on her arm. She didn’t want anyone to see her like this.
Namjoon stood there feeling defeated. Seeing jin staring out the window. When they locked eyes jin quickly hid behind the curtains. Namjoon left shaking his head.
Upon returning home, it was quiet. Namjoon had called off their weekly family dinner once again, saying it was because he wasn’t feeling well but everyone in the family already knew what was going on.
Heading to bed with a heavy heart, feeling absolutely horrible not having minseo there to comfort him.
Minseo spent most of her days avoiding him at all costs. She knew she couldn’t hide forever but every time she saw him she was reminded of everything that has been happening but at the same time she was missing her husband. She soon realized that she really didn’t have anyone else.
Namjoon had started working even later into the night just to keep his mind busy. Trying to get things done as he kept postponing them all week.
“Namjoon” he was broken out of his thoughts as he saw her, minseo.
“Yes? What happened?” He immediately stood up
“Your mother, she can’t get a hold of you. She’s been calling for a while now”
“Oh, yeah I was busy, I’ll call her in a minute-”
“I already talked to her, she said she’s having a gathering at her home tomorrow and you must attend, no exceptions”
He nodded “will you be going?”
“I might, Depending on how I’m feeling. Night.” She said walking out the door of his home office not giving him a second glance
“Goodnight!” He said before she shut the door. He slumped back into his chair not remembering what he was doing just a minute ago.
-
The next day namjoon waited practically the whole day for minseo. He thought they would drive there together but she never asked or even mentioned she was going. He decided to go before it got too late, he figured she probably didn’t want to go.
Namjoon arrived a little late but he knew he had to show up or else his mother would have given him an earful.
Walking in seeing everyone talking, laughing with each other. He immediately felt nervous. He shouldn’t be, this is his family.
“Namjoon!” His mother is the first to greet him “thank you for coming, dear” she kissed his cheek
“Well you said no exceptions so here I am” he sighed
“Everyone is here, go say hello” she encouraged with a smile on her face
“Mother, im really not-“
“Minseo is here too” his mother added
“Where?” He questioned immediately looking around for her
“I believe she’s out back”
Immediately going to see if she was actually here, going out the back door of his mothers house. He sees her. Sitting beautifully, legs crossed in her white floral dress talking with a family member. They both stop mid conversation as he spoke
“Hi- im sorry to interrupt” namjoon looked nervous
“That’s alright dear, I’ll be heading inside now. It was good seeing you sweetheart” his great aunt says as she said goodbye to minseo
“I thought you weren’t coming” namjoon sat down once they were alone
“I never said I wasn’t” taking a sip of her drink feeling nervous herself
“I waited for you, I thought maybe we’d drive down together” namjoon searched for her eyes but she wouldn’t look at his
“Seokjin brought me.”
“Oh” Namjoon was beginning to feel a sort of hatred towards his brother. He just couldn’t keep his nose out of his marriage
“You look beautiful as always”changing the subject he reached for her hands that were on the table
“I’m leaving” She finally looked at him as she pulled her hands away
“Leaving? What do you mean?”
“Back home, with my mother.”
“What, Why? My love you-“
“Because I need to. I feel lonely here, I need to get away for a while. It’s all too much”
“Everyone loves you here, my mother, our aunts everyone adores you- I can’t be without you, please” he didn’t realized tears had begun to form in his eyes
“You’ve lived without me before, you’ll be fine namjoon. I’m sure you’ll find someone else to entertain you”
“No. No I don’t want anyone else. Just you, Minseo. I can’t imagine my life without you. I-I love you so much. Please, please tell me what I should do so that you’ll stay” his heart felt like it was aching in his chest. He’d never thought that his worst nightmare would be to lose his wife.
she could see it in his eyes how sorry he was but her trust had been broken “How can I trust you anymore joon?”
“I promise you that I’ll never hurt you again my love. I truly never meant to hurt you. I honestly thought that this marriage wasn’t going to be a real marriage. But I-I fell for you so hard.” He himself would’ve never thought this would happen but it did. And he’s never been so happy to have found her.
She went to put one of her hands on top of his arm “I still love you namjoon. You can’t stop loving someone so quickly, but I need some time”
Looking at her with big glossy eyes he nodded “you will be back right?”
They were interrupted by namjoons mother as she stepped outside to find the two
“Kids! Come inside. I’ve made a ham” she waved her hand for them to come join the family
“We’re coming! Come on, can’t keep mom waiting” minseo was first to get up as he followed
Everyone was serving themselves. Minseo wasn’t feeling hungry but she didn’t want to be rude so she made herself a plate. Namjoon wasn’t sure if he should sit next to her or not. Minseo sat at the full table so he had no other choice but to sit somewhere else.
Namjoons mother noticed he wasn’t enjoying himself. She figured whatever the two we’re talking about outside caused this. She always taught her sons to fight for the people they love. She’s just hoping that namjoon will take her advice.
He certainly didn’t enjoy watching his wife laugh at all his brothers jokes from across the room. Didn’t those two hate each other? Minseo and jin were actually good friends before this whole marriage happened. Is it weird to say that this whole situation brought them closer? Minseo realized she didn’t really have anyone else to talk to but jin was there, like old times.
After it got later and people started leaving. Jin offered to drive minseo back home to which she accepted before she went to thank Mrs Kim
“Thank you for coming, dear” she held both of her hands
“Of course, your food is always delicious”
Namjoon now walking into the living room coming from the bathroom. seeing his mother and wife together always made him happy. But now it just made him nervous. Not knowing what his mother would say to her
“Hi” he said looking directly at minseo
“Hi, I’m going to be heading home now. Jins taking me”
“Okay. I’m going to stay here a bit long. Ill be there soon” he didn’t like that idea but he needed to stay to talk to his mother privately. Minseo nodded leaving.
Namjoon started helping his mother put the left overs away
“Do you want to take any of these home with you dear?” His mother asked as she was looking for Tupperware, immediately stopping as she heard a sob come from her son
“Joon? Whats the matter?” She pulled him into a hug as he continued to cry into her shoulder
“She’s leaving me”
“Oh no, honey I’m so sorry. What did she say?”
“She-she’ll be staying with her mother for a while but what if….what if she doesn’t come back, what if she stops loving me. And jin–“
“Honey, she’ll come back. she just needs time. I’ve seen how much you two love each other. And jin, don’t worry about jin. He’s your brother, he’s just trying to get under your skin. If you don’t want to lose her then you better go and show her how much she means to you”
Namjoon nodded not really able to get his words out now, wiping his tears “I should go and make sure she got home safe”
“Go, and when she leaves come visit me often so you won’t be so alone”
On the way home jin asked a lot of questions about her leaving as well, he was actually the one to suggested going away for a while
“Did your mother ask why you were coming home so suddenly?”
“Yes she did. I told her it was because I was home sick. I didn’t have the heart to tell her.” Minseo says looking out the passenger window feeling mostly tired
“You know you wouldn’t be going through all of this if you would’ve chosen me” jin spoke looking directly ahead on the road
Minseo slowly turning her head to him “what?” She said in disbelief. She didn’t know whether or not he was making another joke right now.
“All those years, and yet you chose him”
He in fact wasn’t joking
“I dont understand jin. You made it clear that we were just friends” minseo did have a crush on him back when they were in school but she was turned down countless of times
“You were just a kid! And by the time I thought maybe you were ready you had namjoon already courting you. I still believe he did it just to get back at me”
“Jin, why are you tell me this now-“
Jin pulled the car over quickly scaring minseo a bit, now facing her
“I’m saying nows our chance, I still want you…” jin moved his hand to her thigh feeling her soft legs, slowly moving up-
“Jin, what the hell!” She moved his hand off her thigh “I’m married. And im sorry but that was the past” her other hand searched for the door handle
“Oh come on, you’re still going to be faithful to him? even after everything he’s done to you-“
Finally finding the door handle she practically jumps out the car slamming the door, jin also jumps out as he sees her walking away
“What are you doing?” She ignores him still walking away ”Minseo, come on. Ok I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you angry”
“Just go, I’ll be fine.”
“I’m not going leave you walking, just get in”
“I said no. Now leave before I start screaming”
“Fine, but it’s not my fault if you get lost.” Jin got into his car and sped away leaving minseo walking. She knew how to get home, it would just take her a while.
Namjoon arrived home before minseo. He went to check on her before he went to bed but he couldn’t find her. Of course this worried him. He checked every corner of the house. He even checked outside. Calling jins house because that was the last person she was with but he didn’t answer. He decided he was going to go look for her, taking the route he thinks jin would’ve taken but before he could get out the drive way minseo walks in the gate. exhausted and teary eyed.
“Minseo! I was worried sick about you. I was just about to-“ seeing her condition he could tell something did happen “are you alright? Where’s seokjin?”
“I decided to walk home”
“Walk? That’s quite the walk. Did something happen?”
She sighed “just jin being jin” she went to walk past him to go inside but he stopped her
“Did he do something to you?” He knew his brother, he wanted to take everything he had, even his own wife.
“Look I’m really tired right now I just-“
“Tell me, please. I swear if he touched you-“
“I stopped him before he went too far, And please don’t go cause a scene, He’s not been himself lately”
Namjoon was boiling. Take his job, Take his land, but not his wife. Namjoon didn’t want to upset minseo so he kept his cool, at least for right now.
“Let’s get inside, it’s cold.” She tried changing the subject. Minseo said good night before heading to her room. She couldn’t sleep so she spent practically the whole night packing her bags. Her mother was expecting her tomorrow.
Namjoon also couldn’t sleep. he couldn’t believe his own brother would do that to him. Jin knew how desperate namjoon was to win back minseo. He wondered if maybe minseo secretly wished she had ended up with jin. He knew jin had a crush on her back in the day. But it was too late for jin. She was his.
The next morning minseo had started bringing her bags down stairs so that when it was time to go she’d be ready. All the noise caused namjoon to come out of his room. Seeing minseo struggling with her bags.
“Here, let me help” he immediately took the bags out of her hands carrying them for her
“Thank you” minseo slightly out of breath
“Are you… leaving already?” He didn’t know she’d be leaving so soon.
“Yes, my mother is sending a driver to take me. He’ll be here any minute” as if on cue the door bell rings. “Oh- that must be him” minseo going to open the door greeting the older man
“I’ll be taking your bags to the car now”
She had a lot, in total of five suitcases and two duffel bags. That kind of worried namjoon. This meant she was staying long right?
“Minseo, be safe. And call me if you need anything. Money or if you need help with yard work-“ he’d take any opportunity to see her
“I’ll be fine. thank you” how badly she wanted to say more, a hug goodbye even. But she couldn’t bring herself to do so
He watched her leave. Feeling as though a part of him was leaving as well. But he knew this wasn’t the end, It couldn’t be.
Going inside their home looking around felt empty. He didn’t like it, He doesn’t remember life without minseo.
He has a lot of things to get done. But first, seokjin.
He couldn’t wait any longer. He so badly wanted to confront Jin about what happened that night. And as soon as minseo left he went to Jins house
Upon arriving he was going to just walk in but the door was locked. He just about pounded on his door feeling all those emotions he had last night come back.
Jin had looked as if he had just woken up, opening the door confused and clearly hung over
Namjoon wasted no time barging in, pushing Jin causing him to stumble. Jin had no time to process what was going on as namjoon brought his fist to jins face
“What the fuck!” Jin groaned in pain clutching his face still on the floor
Namjoon crouching down to be face to face with Jin “who do you think you are? Putting your hands on my wife?”
Seokjin smiled slightly clearly not sorry “what, are you afraid? I bet when you’re inside her cunt she wishes it was me”
Namjoon threw another fist to his brothers face as jin was trying to block them with his hands “don’t- fucking- talk about her like that. what has gotten into you, jin? I don’t understand”
“You took her from me” Jin mumbled out, face throbbing
“I didn’t take shit from you. She was your friend, that’s all she ever was to you.”
“No, it was more than that-“
“You only wanted her when you saw that we started seeing eachother” namjoon was right, jin felt jealous. He was so used to having minseo do everything he had asked for and when she found someone new to follow around he had realized how much he missed her.
namjoons intentions weren’t pure either. He needed to be wed, and Fast. His father had just passed away and his mother wanted namjoon to claim the land but the agreement was that it went to whoever was to be married first. Namjoon wasn’t ready to be married, But if he really did need to be married he’d pick someone he already knew. Someone who he knew would be a good wife. Minseo. She had been a family friend for years and she was a nice girl. Why not right?
Of course as soon as this was brought up to her father he was already cashing the check. Minseo was young. And she’d do anything her father asked, besides she knew namjoon already. She just truly wanted to be loved
Namjoon was always sweet and respectful, and of course she fell for him almost instantly but after the marriage was made official it was like he wasn’t interested anymore. Almost as though he was only being nice to make sure she wouldn’t back out. She was disappointed but as we know this didn’t last very long. She fell first but he fell harder.
“Stay the hell out of my life” namjoon said leaving Jin alone on the floor.
Minseo had arrived to her mothers house excited. She had missed her. She didn’t live that far away, it was about two hours away but she never had time to visit that often. As soon as minseo pulled up she saw her mother waiting outside. She immediately jumped into her mothers arms
“Oh darling, you look so beautiful” minseos mother said kissing the side of her head
“I’ve missed you so much mom”
“I have too, so much.. where is namjoon?”
Minseo still has yet to tell her mother. Her mom loves namjoon so much, she knows this will break her. but she was mostly keeping this from her because the same had happened to her. Minseos father had cheated on her mother countless of times and she took him back every single time. She didn’t want to bring up those awful memories.
“He, um, he has work so he couldn’t come”
“Oh, when you said you needed to get away I thought you meant the both of you. But this is even better! It’ll be just us girls then” her mother was truly excited to spend some time with her.
Minseo slept in her old bedroom, it felt weird but it brought back a lot of good memories. She didn’t have any siblings growing up but she spent most of her childhood with namjoon and seokjin. Mostly just seokjin though. Maybe if this whole marriage hadn’t happened everything would still be perfect?…Except it wouldn’t because she wouldn’t have her love.
It was hard for her to fall asleep these days, and when she eventually did it wasn’t for very long.
After day two of staying with her mom she was so happy to be here with her but she felt the want to go back home constantly.
Her mother could tell something was going on but she didn’t want to say anything yet.
Minseo was out back sunbathing on the pool chairs but she heard her mother shouting, immediately she got up and went inside to see what was going on. Her heart dropped when she saw him, namjoon, hugging her mother.
“Joon, what are doing here?!” Minseo was confused and a bit annoyed.
“Oh- um I just wanted to check on you- and to see mom of course!” He smiled at her mother
“Oh joon you know you’re always welcome! I’m working on dinner so make yourself comfortable”
Minseo left walking to her room to change out of her bathing suit not knowing namjoon was following right behind her. It startled her a bit. She quickly put on her robe that was hanging on her door
“You shouldn’t be here namjoon” he could clearly see she was angry
“I know, I’m sorry but I was worried about you-”
“I’m perfectly fine. No need to worry”
“Your mom was so excited to see me. I was actually kind of nervous to come because I wasn’t sure if you told her about anything yet-“
“I haven’t…” she sighed “I don’t think I will. Just go down and help her, I’ll be there after I change” he nodded quickly exiting the room
Minseo had slipped into some comfortable clothes and went to join the two. Already hearing them cracking up from all the way across to house
“What’s so funny?” She smiled
“Oh darling come see this” her mom said barely able to contain her laughter “it’s from when you guys were just kids and used to walk to school every morning, Remember when that car drove by a puddle and it splashed you guys so bad you all ran home crying”
“You have a picture?!” minseo doesn’t remember this being so funny
“Of course! I knew some day we’d be able to laugh back at this”
Namjoon smiling while admiring the beautiful smiles on their faces as well
“One day when you guys have kids of your own you better take all the pictures you can, time flies by so fast” her mother adds walking back to the stove leaving the two in the dinning room
“You remember this day?” namjoon says picking up one of the many photos her mother had pulled out. It was a more recent photo. From last years birthday.
“Of course I do, it was one of the best days of my life” she smiled remembering how special she felt that day. Before she could do anything else her mother began serving them. Enjoying the nice hot meal catching up, everything felt almost normal. Almost.
“I’m stuffed” namjoon said rubbing his stomach
“Me too, every time I eat I get real sleepy. Minseos bed is a twin but I’m sure you’ll both fit” her mother added
“Oh no need, he’ll be heading home now-“
“What? No, it’s late honey. Don’t you want to stay namjoon?”
He felt pressure from both sides wanting to say yes but needing to say no, for minseo but… he couldn’t.
“Of course i do!” He smiled but minseo was mad, heading to her room. Namjoon joined her after he had helped clean up.
“Wow Your room is smaller than I remember” namjoon said looking around
“Yeah well everything’s bigger when you’re 13… you can take the bed tonight”
“No that’s ok, it’s your bed after all”
“Just take the bed joon, you’re our guest”
“Um actually we’re her guests”
She rolled her eyes “fine we both take the bed, but get your own blanket” he smiled at her
both of them were settled into the small twin bed facing back to back in silence trying to fall asleep but neither of them could
“Namjoon” minseo said quietly which caused namjoon to turn his body around or face her
“Yeah?”
“Why are you really here?” Still not facing him
“Because I was worried about you… and because I missed you”
It was silent again for a moment until he heard her sniffle immediately feeling his heart begin to race
“minseo” he whispered as she now turned around to finally face him
“I missed you so much joonie, so much but you- you hurt me so bad” she was trying to keep her voice down as best as she could
He immediately pulled her into his chest as if on instinct “I know it my love, and I’ll forever regret it. I’ll spend the rest of my life fighting to get you back if I have to. You’re the only person I truly need” he was trying to hold himself together as well
“I love you, even if you decide to not forgive me-” he was full on crying now. He couldn’t hold back
Seeing him like this just hurt her even more, looking at him she went to grab ahold of his face “I love you too joon, always” with both of them crying he immediately went in for a kiss.
it felt like they haven’t kissed in ages. He missed the way she’d grabbed his hair whenever they kissed like this. His hands searched her body missing having her like this.
Namjoon feeling himself began to grow hard, he couldn’t control it. He didn’t want to ruin the moment but In all honesty, they both needed it
As soon as she realized she paused
“I’m sorry- it just-“ he tried to explain but she didn’t care. Reaching down to feel him
“It’s okay” she pressed down feeling all of him causing him to groan, she went back into the kiss while her hand moved inside of his sweats grabbing ahold of his heavy cock, she started pumping him nice and slow. Namjoon very much enjoying this he started thrusting into her hand. His mouth agape as he was moaning quietly into her ear
“Feel good?” She asked still pumping him just how he liked it
“Yes, so good-” god she missed this
“You’re mine right?” She knew he was but she still wanted to hear it
“Yes, im all yours.. I promise” his hands began roaming her body. Missing how she felt in his arms. He grabbed the hem of her tank top asking for permission to take it off, she wasn’t wearing a bra so her chest was fully exposed now. He immediately went to her chest leaving the most gentle kisses to both of them. focusing on her nipples as she was tugging on his hair softly, feeling just as good as him. When He went to pull her pajama shorts down she stopped him
“Wait, we can’t” minseo said slightly out of breath “my mother might hear us”
Namjoon knew that was a possibility but he was so horny right now he truly didn’t care
“We’ll be quiet, I promise. I need to feel you so bad, love” he said slowly grinding against her. Minseo was just as needy and of course she gave in
“Hurry up then” she said and not even a second later namjoon was taking off the rest of his and her clothes.
Hovering over her He was teasing his tip in while he played with her clit because he knew once he was in, it wouldn’t be for very long. It feels like forever since he last had her like this. He wanted both of them to feel good.
Minseo was a whimpering mess as she tried to keep quiet. Namjoon the same, bitting his lip as he watched her
“I need you inside me, please” she whispered as namjoon started pushing himself inside
“Fuuck-“ pulling back feeling her squeeze him so good “I missed this pussy” he said into her neck as he found a good pace
They were both out of it, trying to keep quiet but feeling all too good. Minseos legs we slightly shaking as he started going faster. Namjoon couldn’t hold back his moans, trying to muffle them into the pillow
Minseo wrapped her legs around his waist just like she always did, letting him go deeper. Namjoon was close.
He began kissing her breasts, admiring how beautiful she looked under him. He’d do anything for her.
“My love, im close”
“Me too, kiss me joonie”
and he did, kissing her with urgency as he came inside her. He didn’t stop until she was finished. She wasn’t too far behind him as she was begging him to not stop
She came hard around him, feeling her pussy throbbing, namjoon still thrusting slowing letting her ride out her high
They both stayed in that position for a moment before he got up to wipe her clean, getting one of his shirts to clean the mess he made that was now spilling out of her. Being gentle because he knew she was still sensitive
“Thank you” she whispered once he was back in bed
“I should be the one thanking you” namjoon was smiling ear to ear
“For what silly” she knew what he meant but wanted to tease him
“For you know… being you”
“Oh stop” she laughed quietly “let’s go to bed now, im tired”
“Goodnight” he kissed her again before he snuggled onto her
“Night” minseo didnt know how she was able to live without him for so long but she did know that she hated it.
The two were finally able to have a good night sleep, the only thing that was missing was their bed at home.
But If only they knew what was waiting for them back at home….

Tumblr media
i haven't really thought out much about her yet, and shes not really based on any specific Disney character, but i have some fun facts about her-
Her shirt is the same style as Epel's, because its a spare pomefiore shirt that Rook gave her during her first week at school. She's really scared of him though. Her first encounter with him was him commenting on her messy uniform, (since i doubt that Crowley would do much more than just grab whatever's in the lost and found basket for Yuu and call it a day) Rook basically drags her to Pomefiore to play dress up while she tries desperately to find some excuse to leave jkhfdfdshhsd
She wishes she could have just kept the job as a janitor instead of being a student at first (but she comes to like school starting the second year) since she enjoys cleaning and tidying and just going for walks, so being an errand runner for Crowley didnt seem too bad to her.
Because of this i wanted to make Floyds nickname for her "Vampire squiddy", since they feed on marine snow and are generally one of the "cleaners" of the deep sea. They live really deep in the sea, matching her gloominess and dislike for crowds and bright light. BUT THEN I REALIZE THAT LILLA CALLED DIBS ON BEING VAMPIRE SQUID so now i don't know anymore... i guess shrimpy still works..
Ever since accidentally stepping on Leonas tail she's been avoiding him like the plague. She thinks he's still mad at her, and nearly cries anytime she sees him dshdhdhdfhj she thinks he's super scary
The skirt she actually sewed by hand herself , using a spare curtain from Ramshackle as fabric.
Back in her "home world" she used to collect and make her own jewelry, the one she wears is one of them. She makes friendship bracelets for her friends of course.
She's good friends with Ortho, and they are desk neighbors. He's tried multiple times to invite her over for game night but she's too scared to hang out with Idia around. But her an Ortho hang out and study together a lot :) he's the designated extrovert friend
She became friends with Jade by being forced to wanting to join the Mountain lovers club. Its actually pretty good, since its a long walk and she can forage for stuff to eat so she can save more money (Crowley pays us in a handfull of pebbles and a pat on the back i swear to god) He's the social anxiety shield and talks for her sometimes.
She still kind of works as a janitor, and she stays after school hours to clean. And uses her job as an excuse to stay away from people, too much to clean!! so many floors to mop!! no i cannot come to ur party Kalim i am so so sorry!! would love too but i have to deep clean the school, by myself, all alone!! tomorrow as well! and the day after!! fdhdfshdshj
Has absolutely bonked Ace in the head with her broom!! he deserves it
Azul tries at some point to get her to be a janitor at Mostro lounge but she runs away from him mid conversation
Secretly very insecure about her height, thinking shes too tall for a lady, plus it just makes her stick out more as well
(actually as im writing this i realize she could be based on Cinderella in a way!!! with the whole evil stepmom (crowley) making you do a bunch of shitty work. im getting ideas.. >:) teehee gonna redraw the ball dance and glass slipper scene with her and someone maybe mwehehehehe)

This is part 6 of the "What if Yuu didn't want to go back?" Series!
(I, the author of this work, do not consent to this work being crossposted/translated without my knowledge or used to train an AI, ever.)
Masterlist
"Hey, Yuu! Hey, Grim! How's your day?"
"Hey, Korrak! Hey, Mandible! Guess what happened in first period?"
"Ooh," Mandible chirps, "did someone flirt with the teacher?"
"Myeehh... Nope. Some kid showed up late, and asked another kid what he had up his ass when the other kid told him to try and be on time!"
Epel, Korrak, Mandible, and Rook all burst out laughing, along with several other kids who heard Grim telling the Tale of Trappola.
"Firs' period 'n our class, sum' kid wen' on ahead an' tried t' flirt wit' Crewel! Didn't go well fer 'im, no s'prise there."
Vil is still trying to hold in his laughter. "Who exactly thought it was a bright idea to show up late for first period?"
"The claustrophobe from the entrance ceremony. I told the teacher, mya-ha! He asked the question to a new friend of ours."
I nod. "Yeah, there's a Heartslabyul right in front of us who's really nice. Then there's Trappola..."
"The gall o' some folk, eh? Hey, I dun' think we've really met- name's Epel! Nice t' mee'cha!"
"Nice to meet'cha too, Epel! I'm Yuu- Y-u-u, not y-o-u- and this is my familiar, Grim!"
Epel and I shake hands. Epel then shakes hands (paws?) with Grim unasked, so I like him more than I did listening to him, Korrak, and Mandible becoming friends this morning.
"It's nice to see you all getting along so well. Remember to keep a balanced diet, alright? In other words, that is entirely too much watermelon. Take some of the fish."
"We did, Vil."
"Where is it?"
I point to Grim. Vil chuckles.
"Well, just make sure he switches shoulders every once in a while. Otherwise, it'll ruin your posture. Same with you, Korrak. Mandible needs to sit on your left shoulder as often as he stays on your right."
Korrak nods. "Yes, sir."
"Ah, such young innocence, pushing through the teenage years! If only lunch lasted longer... Alas, there are many things I cannot change. Nonetheless, Beuté!"
"Hey, Rook is right! We have ten minutes to get to our next class!"
"Mandible is right. Come on, Epel!"
With that, Epel, Mandible, and Korrak all rush off to finish their food and get to their next class. Grim and I share a look before running after them, eating watermelon all the way.
"Bye, Deuce! We'll see you tomorrow!"
"Bye, Yuu! Bye, Grim! I'll see you in History!"
I sigh. "That wasn't so bad, was it, Grim? For a first day of school, I'd say that was awesome!"
"I have to agree! Can't wait to go to dinner and bed..."
I laugh. Grim is sitting on my other shoulder- per Vil's advice- and is flat-out pooped. He appears satisfied, though. I imagine I look similar. Oh, well. Nothing to do now but eat, the bedtime routine we're going to be doing all the time now that we're in Pomefiore, and a good night's rest. Maybe a meet-up with Korrak and Mandible- after all, you don't have to be Heartslabyul to spill tea.
Dinner is mostly silent. Everyone is too hungry to talk and too tired to stay at the table once they're done- such a thing would delay bedtime! Most of the chatter occurs on the way to and in the Backstage Room, as we freshies have started calling it.
"So, what happened to the flirt?"
"Ah, he had t' wash all th' mirrors 'n the school- 'cept the magic one, course. All wit' Vargas watchin'! 'Heard 'e kept on givin' 'im terrible dating advice th' whole time! Musta been a sight t' behold, I tell ya. What o' Trappola?"
"He had to wash every seat in the classroom after school. So, 40 chairs. By hand. Alone. To a shine. Those chairs are going to be cleaner tomorrow than they were today!" I glance left. "Korrak, wake up."
"Eh?" He really needs sleep. He got here first, though, so I imagine he'll be first to bed.
"You're done with the routine, Korrak. C'mon, let's get to bed." Korrak complies with his familiar's suggestion and carries himself out of the room, 'possum in his arms. I stop brushing Grim and flip him over.
"Purrrrrrrr, this is awesome. Rrrrrrrrrrr..."
Grim continues his happy rumbles as Epel stands and yawns. "See ya' t'morrow, pal." With that and a pat on the shoulder, he's gone, as are most the people in the room.
"Murrr, that's it?"
Grim keeps purring as I pick him up, stroke his stomach, and carry him to our dorm room. Korrak has done us the favor of forgetting to lock the door, so I do that myself before I put a sleeping Grim in his cat bed and a tired myself into my changing room of a closet to put on my pajamas.
"I wish I had magic..." The words are quiet, nearly silent on my lips, but oh-so-true. These people- these mages- can do so much with so little, and I just can't.
The glass of water is still on the nightstand when I lie down in bed. Now or never, I suppose.
Despite my efforts, all I get are ripples across the surface from the students still walking in the hallway. I sigh. No magic for me.
"Come on, Yuu. You're in Pomefiore, the dorm of tenacity! You can do it. Just go to sleep and stop worrying, just for the night."
I smile, softly. "Come on, Grim," I start, "we both know that mirror sorted you." My voice is somber. Why wouldn't it be? I'm too tired to pretend I'm Perfectly Fine with being the only one in a mage school with no magic. Still, Grim is right- I should just go to sleep.
Tonight, I dream of miracles.

hi rumi <333
how are you doing?? (im sending extra braincells to your mother cause i saw your vent posts and shes being a lil dumb) im honestly feeling horrible. i had a fight with my parents at last night and my dad hit me before resuming eating and it made me want to fucking peel my skin off and kill myself and understandably i lost my appetite and theyre trying to force me to eat but i cant and i wont until i either faint or get force fed. im sorry im rambling and making this abt me and i know i have lots of people to yap to but im talking to you rn ig?? (dw im not good at comforting people either haha)
today's my last day of school (well, technically tomorrows the last day of school but im not going cause i dont want to and idk if i can last another day) maybe i'll send him a message tonight if he's not here, so thank you :)
mm ty rumi <333 thats nice to read rn, and i think youre amazing and cool and great and i know theres tons of people who absolutely love you <33 (i have someone who loves me a lot and i love her too [platonically] so :D)
npp :)
ugh ikr? science is total ass and i hate it, A LOT. i dont mind physics tho cause a lot of it is math and i like math. it just makes sense and it never changes its answer and theres no reflectional thinking in it like, "how do you feel abt 1+1=2? explain your answer" (i fucking hate reflectional questions cause wdym i have to explain my brain process are you gonna mark me on how i fucking think??)
i hope my break is good, but my dad is gonna be at home cause he works from home now and he'll make me do so many chores that dont even need to be done and he'll force me to eat and stuff
bye bye rumi <333 i hope today/tmrw is one of the nicest days youve had in a while and you feel well rested and motivated to do anything xx

hi lovely <333
i’m tired :/ and a bit sad but it’s fineeee
so i very strongly dislike ur parents cause wtf. that’s not fucking ok to do to anyone let alone YOUR OWN CHILD. And expecting them to just carry on like nothing happened after that?? that sucks and i COMPLETELY get where you’re coming from, my parents have definitely forced me to eat and it’s js made my eating issues a whole lot worse, and i can understand the hitting too unfortunately (though my parents have stopped doing that for now). Sending ALLL my hugs and support, with I could be there for you physically so i can wrap you in a blanket and invite your favorite moots over and wee could all watch a movie together. and it’s totally fine to ramble if you feel like you need to :3 i don’t mind
YAY LAST DAYYYYY (that’s so fair)
i haven’t had physics yet, but i’m taking physics and bio next year (cause i’m doubling up for science- so getting double science credits in one year). reflective questions are kinda annoying like i don’t have any feelings about why oil and water can be scrubbed off with dish soap?? (THATS SO REALLLLL!!!)
Ugh that suckssss, my parents are home for some of it, and i was working on my blanket when my mom walked in and sat down (which she already did this morning as well) and i asked if she could leave cause I wanted to crochet alone, and she was on her phone and WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING UP WAS LIKE ‘no😇’ and i just- i asked you to leave?? nicely??? and she’s always talking abt respect and how i need to listen to her cause she’s older and therefore wiser and more experienced than me BUT WHEN I WANT HER TO LEAVE MY ROOM SHE JUST. WONT??? AND IM PRETTY SURE SHE STAYED LONGER JUST TO PISS ME OFF. SHE HAD SHIT TO DO SHE DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO STAY IN MY ROOM. And then she left but before that she was like ‘next time i’m not going to leave if you ask me to, I’ll just stay longer’ AND I JUST- OMFG I WANTED TO SCREAM. first off, i asked you TEN TIMES to leave, and then only you left. second, WHY??? YOU DIDNT HAVE TO STAY IN MY ROOM IN THE FIRST PLEACE I JUST SKDHAJDJSJWJJD UGHH. she’s my mom so i love her she just pulls shit like this and it’s just so frustrating. but the forcing you to eat thing is so real, sending hugs 🫂🫂🫂 (sorry for the pissed ramble btw)
bye bye lovely <333 i hope you enjoy ur break

therapy was okay. at least i got to vent. still really overwhelmed and exhausted so i ended up falling asleep right after and have been passed out pretty much the last four hours. woke up an id gotten my period. i don’t know if it’s now mic im struggling or how alone i am with it. but at least made a list of shit i gotta get done the next few days (it’s a lot). and while i do have class it’s only one morning class tomorrow which leaves me the whole day to work. and then i have all of friday to work before i have class on friday afternoon. and then ive also got friday night. feeling a little less overwhelmed but only slightly. gonna try to make it for dinner and print out some stuff for class while i’m out. never did pick up my packages today but whatever. i feel like every part of me is screaming that i can’t do this nd no one is listening to ne. i kept repeating how ive relapsed on multiple things since i got here when i was doing so well before and now im back to struggling and alone and i just i can’t fucking do this with schoolwork on to of it and i have to go to a stupid fucking movie tonight for a class and at this point i’d rather shoot musekf in the face so im just. i’m really done and o keep expressing it but no one listening to me and even if they did what would they do? i’m stuck. o don’t have any options. i can’t go back. if i can’t cut it here im fucked. all of which very funnily enough makes me wanna fucking drink! or cut! or both! my god dude like how much more am i supposed to take i already know im weak i already know i wasted my life surviving i already know can you just fuckt he hell off with constantly reminding me please like i can’t fucking do this shit anymore i am so fucking overwhelmed and alone and no one is listening to me and i stg if i didn’t have to go to this stupid movie tonight i would be struggling not to go get alcohol because im just completely at a loss and nothing else helps even think dont really help it jsut makes shit worse in the long run and I CANT FUCKING DO THIS MAN

i am a little annoyed about something so pls. just allow me to rant for a moment bc its what im good at lmao
my mom went into the ER bc she's peri-menopausal and she's been feeling a lot of pain in her abdomen/like, pretty heavy cramps. we initially summed it up to peri-menopausal pain from what she had described, but its persisted for the last 3 days and has not gone down at all... it's been affecting her every movement so she said "im going to the er, my friend is comign with me, pls stay home" and as much as i definitely would've gone, I: 1) know she's not going alone, 2) called her an uber so she didn't have to drive and 3) am being updated constantly. i also work tomorrow morning and she and her friend do not, hence why she asked her friend to go.
cut to my dad (who has never spent a night in the hospital with my mom since i was fucking born who has spent one DAY in the hospital with me and my mom once bc i had terrible cramps and couldnt walk and needed someone to carry me out of the house, BUT he was mad the whole time he was there 🤨) having a good ol' discussion with himself (technically with me but i have started ignoring anything he says bc hes just been pissing me off for months now ngl) about how i should be the one there with her and how could i let her go alone and a bunch of great, nice shit to really hammer away at my conscious--which btw, he didn't even NEED to do that bc i already feel guilty for not going. i literally feel guilty for everything all the time, so that wasn't necessary. BUT i know my mom doesn't want me there, she wants someone who understands what shes going through (i offered to go many times before she just outright said no)
unfortunately, i could not hold my tongue and i said "would u go?" bc the obvious answer is no. i've been accompanying my mom to the ER since i could have a proper conversation because he's refused. for years. so why now? (its bc theyre fighting). tell me why this man got in the car and went to the ER so he could stay with her? and i mean, yes, GOOD. THANK FUCK, actually. love my dad loads but lately (and mostly always, ngl) he's been an extremely selfish pos while under the impression that he's not being selfish at all??? idk what the fuck u call that.
anyway. he was all "okay.... bye i guess.... i am going now.... good bye" like.... 👀 just go???? anywayl. good for him for actually submitting to his role has a husband. i love that for him.
