fucked up that homestuck was so good. like, on the whole, homestuck holds up and is insanely good. even though its awful. fucking even the damn little character sprites are a compelling piece of visual design. that so many distinct, specific choices are just that good is a testament to how inscrutable artistic talent is. Hussy isn't a better artist than anyone per se, they've just found an impeccable way to express a niche. there are entire genres of joke in homestuck i straight up still do not understand after 3+ complete rereads over 5-6 years and even then i like reading them. fucked right the fuck fucking fuck that the character writing and worldbuilding are also top tier. but its UTTERLY crazy-making how even the worst characters & plot points in homestuck are still amusing & compelling. do i feel threatened by lord english? no, i barely even understand how he exists. fucking god damn if he isnt a compelling villain anyways. fucked up man, fucked up

i think the missing guy is hussie,equius,vriska or dirk

why? 

Equius,because he was once in hero mode "firebrand personality" Sagittarius is one of the fire signs  "true horse race again. A real barn burner in the brewing." horses doe "their leader" equius was team leader for the blue team 

Vriska, "occupied a blind spot" aka her eye that got all messed up "The hero was bold, wily" vriska has those traits "the tide of luck" vriska and her luck 

Hussie, because "true horse race again. A real barn burner in the brewing." hussie was once in hero mode he also disappeared from the story but then came back

Dirk, because horses,  "true horse race again. A real barn burner in the brewing." dirk has been in hero mode and "The hero was bold, wily; the sort of firebrand personality they needed to take such a stand." his personality matches the thing "That is to say, the side any interested onlooker would be able to witness" dirk is super sneaky
