Hello again :),

It is finally finished, and I am so happy to receive all your replies to my WIP Post.

As I had shown you before, for this month, I was working on a Bedroom Set and created a walk-in wardrobe, too. This collection consists of 36 items.

I based The whole Soho Set around a loft apartment, and I was thinking of a bedroom that could be built into an open space. Of course, I wanted to create modern items, but there are slight retro and Art Deco hints, mainly through patterns and backdrops. I thought it was time to make new bedding; I got a bit bored of the Berlin and Fayun ones :D. you can combine it with a separate bed base and a headboard with plug details. For the 'Livin Rum', I created a wooden Eames chair; for this collection, I made the metal frame version and added a bedside table in a similar style.

As mentioned, I added a modular walk-in wardrobe with four shelves. I added 16 different garments, three luxury handbags inspired by Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, and Hermès. There are lots of customizing options. You can either place those items into the open space and cover them with mirror walls or against a wall.

A small gimmick: I bought a Cardboard VR Goggle because I created 3D images of my travels and tried the same stereoscopic technique with my sims interiors, and it worked; the sims look so so cute in actual 3D :D, in case you have VR glasses I wanted to share my Promo images in 3D too if you concentrate on the pictures you can also see them in 3D without goggles :)

This is the second to last iteration, and I will work on a Living collection for the coming month.

Style advice?

The idea is young and youthful, but also clean and classic. I believe every woman should do whatever they want when it comes to fashion, but I have a very clear idea of what I like and know what works for me. I believe in dressing my age, having fun, wearing things that fit, experimenting with color, and adding small accessories. There’s something to be said about an outfit that’s simple but obviously well put together.

I love silk, satin, and wearing scarves as tops. I have a collection of Hermès scarves that I wear with white pants, I love a well made silk dress, and I have a number of satin dresses and slip skirts in beautiful colors. Dressing for your body shape, wearing colors and fabrics that complement your skin, and emphasizing your height are three of the most important things that helped me learn how to dress.

This is neither here nor there, but it’s going to be said anyway. You need to take care of your things and make sure that they’re pristine; you need to wash, hang, and fold your clothes, you need to learn how to care for your shoes, and you need to make sure that you’re honoring yourself by caring for the things you have. If your possessions aren’t taken care of properly, you will look unkempt. Wake up early to iron your clothes or iron and hand them the night before, do your laundry when needed, and keep on top of the things you need tailored or taken in. It’s important to understand this.

If you want to look good, you have to understand that fabric composition is important as well. GAP, Old Navy, Brandy, Aerie, and Target are all stores that have affordable items made with a high cotton content. It’s hard to look great when you’re wearing 100% polyester, and you don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on a closet made of only cotton. Most of my basic t-shirts are 100% cotton or a solid 80/20 split, all of my socks are 100% cotton, and I look for underwear with a high cotton content as well. Cotton is breathable, easy to keep clean and get stains out of, and it’s one of the best fabrics for everyday wear.

They meet each other again in Morioh after 10 years of not seeing each other, but due to huge misunderstandings, they act like they detest each other, but deep down, they really still value and love each other underneath all of that anger and coldness. This is mainly in the POV of Kakyoin bonding with the Duwang Gang and rest of Morioh's inhabitants. And Jotaro and Kakyoin largely act like little shits towards one another, but the author has promised a happy ending for these two, so I'll hold them up on that promise. You can really feel Jotaro's heartbreak, even if it's not explicitly stated, whenever Kakyoin screams and rages at him. It's a sad but extraordinary story so far. Just hurry up and kiss & make up already! xD

I wanted to try and start a little series to provide information. It’ll include the greek gods as well as the saints. For the greek gods I want to try and do as many gods as I can before I get burnt out with this. 

First I wanted to post about Lord Hermes. He’s been a part of my practice the longest and I feel the most connected to him. I really do hope that this post can be of use to anyone who needs. I certainly do hope that this post and this series can help me grow closer to my practice. So we will see!

Hermes is the Olympian god of herds and flocks, travelers and hospitality, roads and trade, thievery and cunning, heralds and diplomacy, language and writing, athletic contests and gymnasiums, astronomy, and astrology. He is the messenger of Zeus as well as a guide of the souls, aka a psychopomp. 

Greeks depicted Hermes as either a handsome and athletic, beardless youth or as an older, bearded man, with winged boots and a herald's wand. However, Hermes can appear to you in any way that fits. For me personally, he doesn’t completely fit the typical description, although I guess it does fit the handsome, athletic, beardless youth depiction. 

Pop Culture

You may have seen Hermes around in your daily life. The caduceus is often used as a symbol in the medical world. Although not because Hermes is tied to medicine in any way. The use of the caduceus is simply due to many mistaking it for the rod of Asclepius. What’s the difference? Hermes’s staff depicts two snakes while Asclepius’s rod only depicts one. 

Hermes himself appears in various pieces of media. Stories like Disney’s Hercules or Percy Jackson. He also appears in the Supergiant Games’s Hades as a god that can help you in your journey, or as a boss in God of War III.

You may have also heard of the luxury brand Hermès, which doesn’t seem to be related to the god at all but it pops up when you search him so I’m adding it anyway. I don’t actually know if this is a good brand or not but they seem to keep sustainability in mind so there’s that at least.

There are many different epithets for Hermes. While there isn’t as many as other gods, there’s still a decent amount of epithets for him. What are epithets? Well, they are essentially surnames for the gods to describe their different aspects. If you wish to call upon a specific aspect of a god you would use their epithet when talking with them.

Now for the different epithets of Hermes. I will be including the transliteration version of the names as the Greek names use special characters that I am unsure if they’ll even show up. So we’re getting close enough.

Welcome to the Eurovision Song Bracket!

This will be a fairly large bracket, consisting of two "teams" of 68 songs for a total of 136 competitors!

The first team has been preselected, and will consist of all previous winners or popular vote winners if applicable.

This means that if your favorite song won, you do not need to submit them (a couple of exceptions apply, see list at the bottom/read more for details)

Rules!

- Entries must have been a part of the main competition of Eurovision of any year (I might do a MGP mini bracket if the people want that)

- Once again, you do not need to submit winners, they are (mostly) automatically in. Again, see bottom for details and explanations.

- You may submit multiple songs, but please don't send the same song over and over.

- Propaganda is highly encouraged! There is a spot for it in the submission form, and adding it on to the poll itself or sending an ask is also allowed. You may send a DM, but I'll probably be slow to respond that way.

How it Works!

- There will be multiple brackets of 34 songs

- Each of the preselected winners will be randomly against one of the submitted songs. Pairings will be decided through number assignment and a random number generator.

- Vote for your favorite! I will include links to the songs in the poll so you can listen to both before voting. The winner will move onto the next round until we find the winner of that bracket.

- Once all brackets are complete, the winners of their individual brackets will go onto the finals to determine the (unofficial) Ultimate Eurovision Song Winner!

- There will be a preliminary around, as 1969 (hehe nice) had a four way tie, so we will need to determine which of those four will represent that year!
